Open during the holidays including Christmas Eve and New Years. Christmas Day Hours only: December 25th 2024 from 11:00am -5:00pm. Kitchen Closes at 4:30pm. Pho Anh Vu offers an authentic Vietnamese food experience for our customers. The restaurant is adorned with traditional decor like bamboo accents and lanterns, it offers a cozy yet lively atmosphere. Patrons can expect a menu featuring an array of fresh herbs, spices, and ingredients, showcasing the rich flavors and textures of Vietnamese cuisine.
Overall, the beef rib noodles were quite good, and the broth had a nice umami flavor. The pricing was a bit unclear, but the owner refunded the extra charges, which was the right thing to do. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Run don’t walk! Been throughout Asia and this rivals the fresh herb pain staking goodness of the best Asian restaurants of the world. The whole restaurant is meticulously clean, incredibly friendly staff, and fantastic food.
The beef bond rice noodle bowls were amazing. I ordered 1 bowl but I was given 2 bowls as the bones were so large. so good. My son liked the beef rice noodles so much. I’ll try other vermicelli later. If they offer hot jasmine tea, it’ll be perfect.
Overall the food was pretty good, nothing really stood out for me compared to other places, if anything the menu was a bit limited in offerings. Compared to the bigger names around the GTA it's a bit lacking and prices were in the higher end. Having said that I'm not sure if there's much better around the Newmarket area. I give them 8/10!
We found out this gem near our place recently. We knew the one in Richmond Hill but it is far away and has always been crowded. We are so happy that the restaurant comes to Newmarket. We went there on Sunday around 3, only a few tables were occupied. May be the restaurant is so new and not many people know about it in this new location. Anyways, we enjoyed its serene ambiance. We tried the spring roll, grilled meats on broken rice and the beef rib noodles. The spring roll is crispy and crunchy, nicely done. The grilled pork and chicken are infused with a rich, smoky char fragrance. We love it. The noodle has two big and one smaller pieces of beef ribs in it. They are so tender and simply delicious. The noodle soup is hot, tasty and brimming with herbal flavors. An excellent bowl of noodles! Before we left the restaurant, my wife said, “We are coming here again tomorrow!!”
The BEST Vietnamese restaurant in Newmarket and even better than the Richmond Hill and North York locations! All the dishes came out piping hot just the way I like it and were so savoury and delicious. The staff are super friendly and many of them are Vietnamese so you know the food is AUTHENTIC! Highly recommend the Bun Bo Hue and Vietnamese Coffee!
Never been to a Pho Anh Vu before but we love viet food. First impression was that the restaurant was clean and staff was really friendly. Everything on the menu really good and the selection was more unique than the traditional viet restaurants that we were accustomed to. We decided to order a bunch of dishes to share as there was too much variety that we couldn't limit ourselves to a single dish each. All the flavours and portions were amazing but the Bun Rieu was definitely a highlight as it was packed with the essence of crab in both the broth and the meatballs. Additional, if you love spicy food then their condiments really pack a good punch. They had a good variety of pickled garlic and assortment of chili peppers. Would definitely go again and highly recommend giving this place a try.
I visited the newest Pho Anh Vu location in Newmarket and I am hooked! I was in the area searching for food around me when I stumbled across this restaurant and saw they recently opened. This location has plenty of convenient parking and the restaurant is very spacious inside with lots of seating. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with beautiful decor. The servers were very prompt at greeting me when I entered and allowed me to choose the table I wanted to sit at. When I sat down, they brought me a tall pitcher of chilled tea, which was refreshing as it was quite warm this day. The servers were attentive and answered my questions I had about the menu. They described their dishes which helped me decide on what to order. I was also able to meet the owner as she went around and spoke with patrons. She was very nice to me and I had a pleasant conversation with her. As for food, I started with the spring rolls and it was delicious. They were super crispy and very hot when it got to my table. It also came with a side of sauce. I think I could eat 10 of them in one sitting. I also ordered the grilled chicken with vermicelli dish and the portion was huge. It had lots of noodles, veggies, plenty of chicken, and a sauce to pair. I finished half before getting full and took the rest home. I really enjoyed this dish and would order it again. I also had the orange juice (no sugar) and I loved it. It was cold and refreshing. It really did taste like they just squeezed it, so I would recommend this if you enjoy orange juice. Lastly for dessert, I ordered the coconut milk with jellies and it was yummy which was a nice finish to my meal. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at Pho Anh Vu Newmarket and will be returning again with friends and family. Although it is a long drive for me coming from Whitby, I would say it’s worth the trip!
probably one of the best Vietnamese around
Ordered the spring rolls, pho, and bun bo hue. They were all excellent. For the pho and bun bo hue, there was a generous amount of meat.
Randomly found. Good tasty
Excellent authentic Vietnamese food! Great flavours, delicious food! Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. Would recommend.
Great! Love it!
Very good taste
Excellent pho. First time here and I can tell Ill be back again soon. The braised meats in their house special soup were top notch and the rare beef was better than most others Ive had. I could barely bring myself to add lime or basil because the broth was so perfect. Delicious house dipping sauces and vinegars for accompaniment along with the ubiquitous hoisin and Sriracha. The spring rolls were fried perfectly crisp. Even the tea was spot on. The service was very quick too. We recieved our meal in maybe 5-10 minutes. Nice atmosphere. Freshly renovated and cleanly kept. Thanks for hosting us this evening. Cant wait to come back for the bun bo hue.
First time trying this chain and it was magnificent. Food was Soo fresh and delicious! I had Pho Dac Biet, large size! and my friend had the rice with chicken and grilled pork chop, also huge! hers was enough to break into 2 large portions to share, approx $21-22 for each of our dishes. Overall very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Washroom has a weird smell, like methane probably due to sewage ? other than that, the booths are comfy, utensils and condiments all clean and filled consistently. Loved my first time here and would be back
Great food. Clean. Great service.
All the prices have gone up by a couple of dollars right after the government announced the HST relief plan for the holiday season. Guess why. Ps. I ll never use cash at the place again. Food
Forgot to take pictures when the arrived. The coffee is so creamy. Must try the bun rieu. This is becoming my go to for Vietnamese food in Newmarket. Food
Food is great, hot sauce is phenomenal. For me, the music was chaotic. Multiple musics are playing simultaneous. Giving me a headache. (I suggest muting all music to let guests focus on good) Food : 5/5
Great service, awesome vibes and great food. Best pho anh vu of them all!
Great food, very reasonable prices, good portion and friendly staff/service. 10/10 would recommend.
The best place
This place was great. Service was on point and the food was really really good.
Delicious, flavourful, and good value for your money. Best one in the area.
Very friendly staffs and accommodating guest with baby and customized dishes like less spicy, no onions, replace shrimp with tofu, soya sauce instead of fish sauce. All come correct. Great taste especially bun bo Hue, a must try. Great combination with che B i!!! Will come back with friend for sure.
Very good food and service!
Just as good as the Richmond hill OG location. Best pho spot
Great Pho!!! Excellent service. Very nice place:))
The noodle soup is delicious and the soup is delicious.
Good Value Great service Food
Absolutely great service compared to the one in Richmond.
Excellent Vietnamese Pho chain. Plenty of traditional fare. Excellent service and food.
I went to this place to try the rice noodle chicken with vegetables soup. It was the best experience amount other Vietnamese pho restaurants around Newmarket and Aurora. The soup was very tasty and delicious and the service was very warm and welcoming. I will be back to this restaurant for sure in the future. Parking: Parking is free and many available spots by the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, wheelchair has easy access to this restaurant.
Good food and excellent customer service by Nancy, Hanna and Emily. I had shrimp rolls, mango salad with grilled shrimp and coconut milk with jelly.
Legit BPH and pho. Will be back.
Went there 2 times now, food is 7/10, spring roll is just ok, midland and finch one is way way better Service is ok, got my orders wrong Food
Dont read. Just go and eat. Just go...now!
Best pho place in Newmarket!!
First time trying this new pho restaurant and I m very happy I did :) Very nice manager, friendly staff and incredibly delicious soup I recommend this restaurant Thank you for making my first experience great Food : 5/5
First time here and i must say the best authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Newmarket. Very highly recommend.
This place is really terrible. The attitude of the waiter is really bad. When I sat down, there was no one to greet me. I waited for a while before a waiter came. Then the female waiter saw that there were few people and ordered me to change. table. What attitude? I have never seen this kind of restaurant before. It should close down soon. I think they lack training and dont know how to serve customers. The child at least six meters away was crying and screaming all the time, and no one was paying attention. It was extremely noisy. Not in the mood to eat at all. The environment of a fake Internet celebrity restaurant is really bad, worse than the environment of a food stall on the main road. I left immediately after the waiter asked me to change seats. Please don t come here anymore.
Excellent service, checked on is to ensure we were satisfied. Very filling meals. Definitely one of the best if not the best currently in Newmarket.
Really clean and everything seems fresh here . Food is good . Five star
Amazing food, in fact, bar none.
A special THANK YOU to Nancy, the manager, for being such a caring human being, and for being so absolutely fabulous! So; not only that the food is deliciously incredible and fresh here at this new Newmarket location, but also, you are guaranteed a REMARKABLE customer service with a fantastic smile. No matter how crazy busy this place gets, everyone here continues to remain super helpful and accommodating. It is honestly quite refreshing to see employees enjoy helping customers. As you already know, we love your delicious and healthy food. Therefore; we will continue to keep coming back to you.
Without a doubt, this is some of the best food I ve had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and ensure each dish is prepared correctly. The special PHO was particularly memorable. It s a must-try!
I stopped here with my family. My wife and kid loved the grilled pork vermicelli. I had pho dac biet the broth was delicate yet flavourful, and had a generous amount of meat. The chicken wings crispy, flavourful and the bbq sauce on them was excellent.
2nd time here but first time getting the beef rib soup. It was great and I am so full. Lots of meat with this order.
Best pho ever
Best pho in newmarket!
Definitely best pho in Newmarket, would usually go to the one in Markham but pleasantly surprised the new opening up in Newmarket closer to my family . Ordered the beef bone pho, the bun bo hue, spring rolls and shrimp mango salad. Great portions and authentic taste. The Pho has a solid broth and lots of meat and tendon on the bones. Bun bo hue was also solid. Spring rolls with the peanut sauce was very satisfying and my mom loved the very flavourful shrimp mango solid. Definitely will be coming back and highly recommend.
Its the best pho in Newmarket. I noticed couple of Pho Anh Vus have closed down and I am hoping this one will thrive! The food is great and my two favs are their #15 Pho Special and Mango Salad!
We liked the Pho, but not a big fan of Chicken. Coconut Shake would be better if it was a bit sweeter. Good service Food : 3/5
Ordered pho here the other day. The presentation was nice and looked good. The broth was a little sweet. The beef however wasnt good at all. It was stringy and unappealing. Really disappointed because everything else was great.
Delish
Great authentic food and flavours. The smoothies are delicious, appetizers are super appealing, and the Bun Bo Hue c Bi t is a must try! I came all the way from Ottawa just to try this place, and needless to say, it s better than anything Ottawa has to offer. Please expand!
Good pho .broth was not as good as usual this time ..lacking a bit of flavour but over all not bad.,service impeccable.was raining out and staff escorted us to our car with umbrellas..5 star quality
...my new guilty pleasure! Their pork and shrimp spring rolls are amazing. Restaurant is always filled, a testament to good food.
The service and the staff were very nice, but it is expensive.
Truly spectacular pho. Beautiful inside must try place.
So glad Newmarket at last has a real good Vietnamese restaurant. Tried their Pho, Grilled Pork w/ Vermicelli and Fish Sauce Wings - and damn, taste was bang on and portion very generous. I just cannot wait to be back to try their other menu items. 5 stars all the way !!!
Good pho place to go in Newmarket /Aurora area
Great place and clean. Portions are big Food
Prices are a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for. Very nice Vietnamese cuisine.
Delicious food
it is a new location of this brand name. But it is a great celebration for Newmarket as high quality of pho finally here. It is as good as usual. The bun bo Hue is very good. Lots of beef! The soup is flavorful. Wonderful.
I loved spicy beef noodle. Menu S3 or S4. I had ate different locations of Pho Anh Vu. The Newmarket location is score 9/10. Very friendly service and the owner lady smile face with customers. Noodle Soup (Pho) & broken rice meat is very tasty. My kids loved it. Kids wont lie. They said foods are tasty. Highly recommended to try foods at this location.
Pork vermicelli dish was amazing. New fav Pho spot in town.
An XL bowl of beef noodles, a small order of spring rolls, plus tip, cost $42. Its very expensive, and I wont be coming back.
seating and table space is a bit tight. we have the beef rib soup noodle, the rib is not fully cooked not ready to serve (see image) meat still attaches the bone, disappointing (need to floss) . taste wise it s ok; the bone tendon is very good not too soft; soup broth is quite onion based very sweet. too much green onion can balance with cilantro. will try the regular beef brisket and raw beef next time. spring rolls are overpriced. 2 small ones for $9. in general, can be improved if this is a famous brand. a lot of condiments.
Clean location and fresh food! The pho here is absolutely delicious. Ordered shrimp roll and veggie rolls. Staff are lovely. I will be returning. Food : 5/5
Place very clean. Friendly service ...tasty food. Very impressed ... Will definitely be back again Food : 5/5
We are very impressed with very authentic Vietnamese cuisine in this restaurant. Great values, good portions, good selections, excellent service and friendly servers. We really enjoyed the dinning experience! Highly recommended!
Very satisfying dinning experience! Food I ordered was delicious and good portion size. Service was excellent. Recommended especially if you live or work in the area.
New pho restaurant that opened about a month ago. Everything is nice and clean. Got the pho with rare beef tenderloin and well done flank. $19.95 for a large bowl. Definitely on the pricier side for pho. The pho broth was very good and the meat portion was very generous. A very delicious bowl of pho! Service was great and the staff were all very friendly and nice. Loved the big plants throughout the restaurant. The chopsticks were individually packaged in paper sleeves which is a nice touch. The chopsticks and spoons were very clean. Would definitely recommend. Vegetarian options: Has vegetarian options. Parking: Free parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
Love the rice noodle soup and beef ribs!
Food was amazing Service was pretty quick and they don t ignore you when you wave them down. It s really pretty. My family got flowers and there are cherry blossom trees. Overall amazing
The beef rib noodle soup meat portion was massive, broth and noodles well balanced, and overall oh so delicious. 10/10 great meal, friendly staff, nice space - will definitely come again!
High recommended for anyone who wanna try VNese food
food and service were amazing! Spent some time chatting with the owner & so excited to support this locally owned business
So tasty and delicious. The staff are so friendly! We were seated instantly when we walked in. Quickly followed with a big bowl of Beef Rib pho. Highly recommend this place, a great pick-me-up after a late night/rough morning. Food : 5/5
My wife and I shared the shrimp fresh rolls, the chicken wings with fish sauce and the pork vermicelli. Everything was amazing!
Portions are big and the broth are hot & favourful. The condiments are plenty plus they gave out fresh basil s and herbs to accompany the noodles. Services are attentive. Highly recommended the avocado shake
Really delicious and authentic Vietnamese food! We got the bun rieu and the special pho no. 15. Portion sizes were big, soups were super flavourful and full of delicious toppings. We got spring rolls to share - they were hot and crispy and a great addition to the meal. The coconut drink with jelly was also the perfect dessert. We loved the different textures in the drink and it wasn t too sweet. The place was clean and spacious. Highly recommend!
Great restaurant & staff! Totally recommend!!
Pretty impressive with the service and the tradition Vietnamese food in this location. They have couple locations around GTA. Now, they opened one in New Market. Cheers!!!!
Amazing food and service! great restaurant and will definitely come back ! Parking: Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: Great for families!
This is hands down one of my favourite pho restaurants in the GTA. The portion is incredibly big for the price, and the quality of the food is unmatched. Service is also amazing. The interior decor is tasteful, which makes this a great place for both a casual get together or a date. Will for sure come back!
Absolutely love this location for Pho Anh Vu. Possibly the best among the others thatre located across the GTA. Portions are great and the service is next level. If you find yourself in Newmarket and are craving any sort of Viet food, this is definitely the place to go. Enjoy your meal in this comfortable atmosphere!
Pho Anh Vu Newmarket is always the best
Very good. Use to go to the highway 7 location and now I can stay local. Love it! Definitely need to try.
Best pho in town
Great food and service at Pho Anh Vu! We had: -CHA GIO TOM (fried spring rolls) (small) which were perfectly crispy and savoury, served with pickled vegetables and a complementary dipping sauce. -PH C BIÊ T, (small) an aromatic beef noodle soup with tender beef slices, fresh herbs, and a rich broth. The restaurant is clean and modern, with well-maintained facilities. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, Pho Anh Vu offers an authentic and delicious Vietnamese dining experience.
My family and I had dinner at this new location last night and everything was delicious! We ordered our usual House special pho [Pho Dac Biet] and crispy spring rolls, which were tasty and hot and this time we went all out and ordered 2 desserts! The coconut milk with jelly and the deep fried banana with ice cream. I also had the durian shake . The restaurant has a nice layout and beautiful decorations. The waitress was very nice and attentive, she was playful with my baby and my baby loved her! The owner also came by and talked with us and offered some noodles for my baby as well. So lovely of her. We use to drive all the way to Richmond Hill location to eat Pho Anh Vu but thankfully they opened here in Newmarket so we can go anytime now My favorite Pho restaurant Overall, food, atmosphere, service Id give it a 10/10. I will definitely be back and bring all my friends and family.
This place is amazing. My go to place for pho. Pho Anh Vu always satisfies my pho craving. Highly recommend. Pricier than most pho restaurants. But well worth the price.
Good food (bun bo hue is the way to go!) and good vibes. Will be back soon! Food : 5/5
Ive been to the Richmond Hill location and think the flavours are more authentic at this Newmarket location. Staff are also extremely friendly and the food was very good. Highly recommend
I recently had dinner at Pho Anh Vu and it was amazing! From the moment I walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Ive been to multiple of their locations but the chefs working here definitely make everything a little more tasty and authentic. I tried the Bun Rieu and WOW! The broth was incredibly umami and very generous meat potions. Ive never tried something like that a Vietnamese restaurant before and it was a real treat. Definitely something to try if you always order the typical Pho.
Best Pho in Newmarket! Great service as well, will definitely be back.
Good food ,
#16 rare beef pho soup was absolute best ever tried . I m a very picky eater when it comes to quality of meet , basically that s all I m looking for in the dish . They mentioned on the menu rare beef tenderloin and let me tell you it was ACTUAL tenderloin cut , the softest and tastiest I ve tried in pho restaurants . Grilled chicken and rice plus baked egg pie surprised as well , top quality. If you are a tea lover , order hot jasmine tea pot , very flavourful and tasty , as we all know restaurants try to minimize the they cost , these guys do not . You get what you pay for . Hope it stays the same , good luck .
New location is beautifully renovated, service was very good. Staff was extremely attentive. Have exclusive bun rieu at this location which is unavailable at others. The taste was fantastic, very authentic and reminiscent of Vietnam.
Beautiful atmosphere. Best pho in Newmarket hands down. We re from 30 minutes south and we make the drive because our handsome waiter, David, kept serving our massive party with top tier service.
The location is wonderful with plenty of parking space and probably the largest PhoAnhVu I have been to so far. Compared to the other locations I frequent (Richmond Hill, Markham, and Scarborough), this location is superior in vibe, food quality, and deliciousness :) A very well run restaurant altogether, the owners have done a wonderful job.
New location is a hidden gem. Special menu that has Bun Rieu that the other locations don t have. Fantastic flavours, will come back and order this dish again! Also, they are generous with the meat to noodle portion.
Food arrived quickly, hot and tasted amazing. Prices are a little higher than other pho places but the quantity and quality of food was really good. We enjoyed our meal. The staff was also very efficient and friendly.
this new location is worth the drive up north! the environment is beautiful and the staff is very attentive. there is plentiful parking and is great location right off the highway. i ordered a large Pho Dac Biet and the portion size is great! their deep fried spring rolls are delicious.. i wish i took some pictures ~ thank you to my server david, he was the best <3
I ve been to many Pho Anh Vu s around GTA and this one is the best location by far. Food and ingredients are super fresh while service was amazing. Although I m located in Vaughan, I would definitely make the drive to come back.
Went to the Newmarket location today and was very impressed. Beautiful clean restaurant. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was delivered in great time and I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. The soup base in the pho was excellent and the chicken/rice dish was excellent
Pho Anh Vus store on Highway 7 is what we think is the best Vietnamese noodle shop in the Toronto area. We are very happy that a friend told us that a new branch has opened in Newmarket. We made an appointment to try it together today. Unexpectedly, we have eaten at the store location before. A breakfast shop, it was renovated and replaced with todays Vietnamese noodles. Currently, the new store has special prices when it opens, and business is very good. The taste was very good, not inferior to other branches. The service is also very kind.
Great food and amazing service!
Very authentic, generous portions! Highly recommend!
So glad they have a location in Newmarket now! The food was very authentic, quick service, space was very clean and staff was all very friendly! I love how they have special menu items here too. Must come back to try more dishes!
Food and service is great. Great place to eat bun cha ha noi and hai phong style, and the che buoi pomelo dessert was just the right sweetness. The location is easy to get to from the highway. Will come back!
As a pho/viet food lover, I don t have any complaints at all. Food tastes very authentic, the service is on point, and place looks very clean and well decorated. 100% would come back and recommend.
I am so happy for this new addition to the Newmarket area! The food is authentic and so delicious! We came after a friend recommended Pho Anh Vu after eating here 3 meals in one day! It definitely did not disappoint. We ordered the Bun Rieu, Bun Bo Hue, vermicelli and of course pho. Everything tasted great and we will definitely be coming back again.
Excellent food! Best Pho in Newmarket!
Awesome experience! They just opened last week, but service was flawless, and food was incredible!
The iced coffee here hit the spot. Friendly staff and the Vietnamese food here is truly authentic. Highly recommended coming here!!
All the food was amazing! Everything was freshly made and the portions were very generous. The staff were attentive and extremely friendly. Definitely worth a stop if youre craving some pho.
Incredible food. Best pho I ve ever had! Portions are also exceptional. I normally order a large soup and finish the entire bowl. This place I couldn t finish the portion so I asked for the soup to go. My server gave me fresh broth to take home at no extra charge. Excellent customer service. Will be making this my families go to spot!
Chill new place opened near by! Soup was not watered down and food was very tasty. Clean place too which was huge bonus :) Food
Great food. My Togo pho place. Hope they can keep up quality.
Omg the broth was so All the food we ordered today was on point. Really is the best pho restaurant in town! Amazing service, friendly staff. Definitely will be coming back again!
Honestly they have the best pho I have ever had in Canada. The prices are also fantastic. Highly recommend
Amazing food and service! The broth is to die for
I love the clean proper hygiene and excellent services with the delicious meals I always visit.
Pho Anh Vu Newmarket is the best authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Ontario I highly recommend you must try Bun Rieu. The flavours were amazing Additional, the staffs are really cute and friendly Food
I usually dont like spring rolls. They were great
Decided to try out this spot last weekend. Ordering was very easy as all the menu items are well described. Our food wasnt quite ready when we got there to pick it up, as we were doing take out, but they were also very busy when we went in. The food itself was very good, and I specifically really enjoyed the spring rolls. I will definitely be going back again to try more of their menu (although Ill definitely be getting the spring rolls again)
Newmarket really needed this. I ve tried every Vietnamese restaurant in Newmarket in disappointment and have always had to go down south to get proper Vietnamese food. So happy that we have Pho Anh Vu only 10 min away from us! Authentic, broth is flavourful but what really wins for me is the mango salad and the broken rice dish! They also gave us complementary spring rolls which was delicious
We ve frequented the location in Richmond Hill, and now glad they opened one in Newmarket. Everything was good as we are used to from this chain. The grand opening discount is nice too. Thankful for a quality Vietnamese restaurant in the neighbourhood - this will be our go to place!
I was in Newmarket doing some stuff and randomly saw this place on Google maps. Decided to give it a try. The pho is not the best Ive ever had, but its probably the best in Newmarket at least. The Broken rice dish with pork and chicken was awesome. However I recommend chicken over pork just because it is more juicy and easy to cut and eat. The seating is a bit cramped but overall I really enjoyed the experience. Definitely will be back whenever Im in the area.
Tried the special beef noodle pho as I was in the area. Consistent great taste matching both the North York and Richmond Hill locations. The broth was excellent. Pho is a bit pricier at this chain as you would expect minimum $20 after tax per bowl of noodles in soup. Location is away from the busy plazas and they had a large tv display on running Kpop videos.
Finally have a Pho Anh Vu in Newmarket! You will not be disappointed, amazing food, drinks and desserts. Clean and friendly staff.
1. I ordered take out this time, they only gave you XL size pho for take out, which means you can t order small or medium size of pho, it sounds like force me to pay more if I don t eat in the store. (Even though their food is pricey already) 2. I did not have the time to check the take out items in the bag until I went back to my office. There are only one container in the bag for the soup and a flat container to hold the noodles, how you expect the customer to eat without a bowl? The meat they gave me is completely raw, with the cold soup, which is also lack of consideration. 3. I found one small piece of plastic in the noodles. And the vegetables are dirty. This is a health issue concern red flag. OVERALL, I will not continue to get pho from here. Very disappointed.
The taste is so-so, and the stomach is uncomfortable
Weve been to Pho Anh Vu at the Richmond Hill location, but this Newmarket location is superior in our opinion. We ordered the grilled chicken with rice. Chicken was crispy and the kids loved them. We also ordered the rare beef and beef ball pho as well as the bun cha hanoi. Everything was delicious. Love that they have all the fresh chili and the frsh cut garlic condiments on the side. Also, i have to mention that i love that they serve cold jasmine(?) Tea with the food. It was so fragrant and fresh for hot summer weather. This is now my go to asian food in newmarket/aurora
went in, ordered food, got almost a whole bowl of hot soup poured on my hand, little to nothing of concern from the staff, -10% off, never coming here again
This is my first Pho Anh Vu, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We dont often come to Newmarket, so I dont know the area, however Im really happy we found this place to eat. I was glad they had complementary chilled tea, and the coconut milkshake I ordered was just as refreshing and had real coconut shavings mixed in. Our appetizers were mango shrimp salad and the tasting platter; both were excellent, but the mango salad was so perfectly seasoned and portioned generously. I usually dont order chicken or beef that isnt in soup, but my friends did and I tried some of theirs and I was so impressed. Both meats were juicy, flavourful, still hot when it arrived at the table, not overcooked or undercooked. They ordered the chicken wings w/ sticky rice, grilled chicken and the grilled pork from the tasting platter was similarly delicious. I found the fish cakes to be just ok. My friend also ordered pho with rare beef and tripe and the soup broth was clean and super flavourful. I dont have enough pictures of the food because I was too busy eating We had a pomelo chè dessert and a coconut milk with jelly dessert and both were sweet, cold, and had a good variety of textures from the various kinds of jellies and chewy pomelo bites. Will definitely have to come back sometime to try the bún riêu. The restaurant interior was not bad, I understood it was newly opened. Although there was a lot of traffic inside the restaurant, tables and cutlery were all clean. However, some points off for the atmosphere: -restaurant interior is uncomfortably hot if youre sitting near the windows even with the shades rolled down, I was on the end of the booth furthest from the window and the heat was strong -the womens bathroom did not smell clean -the bathroom sink was abnormally high and Im not a short person so it doesnt seem accessible -restaurant was located in a business park instead of a plaza or near a more active part of the city and the huge empty parking lot is really eerie to me Vegetarian options: They offer rice paper with the spring roll platter for you to make individual spring wraps and you can choose which ingredients from the platter to put in or omit Parking: too many parking spots Kid-friendliness: booster seats available
