A small diner that has a great feel. My food was great and the service was good. Very nice people.

It was my first visit here, and the food was incredibly tasty. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere makes you feel like youre among friends. Theres a really positive vibe in this place. We visited just before Christmas, and with the snow falling outside while enjoying amazing dishes, it created a fantastic experience. Thank you

My initial review was 5 stars. However, my recent takeout order was very disappointing. I ordered the pretzel chicken - received on a regular kaiser bun and not a pretzel bun. No one informed me when I picked up that they decided to substitute. Two tiny pieces of chicken on the sandwich, when it used to be a whole decent sized piece of chicken.

Delicious food, homey and cozy space, and kind and attentive staff. We enjoyed one of the best eggs benedict Ive ever had and the turkey wrap (also delicious), fruit salad, and fries (and tea and latte). Its an unassuming looking space in a safe industrial area - parking immediately by the door is limited, but there is lots around. Cant wait to come back!

We were looking for an all day breakfast when we stumbled upon this little gem of a place! Friendly staff smiling and pleasant! We ordered breakfast and wow they actually did my husbands eggs perfectly!!! Food was delicious, service was great, atmosphere was wonderful and next time we are in this area you have a repeat customer! Called an hour ahead before closing and they were able to accommodate me along with my friends. As soon as we came in, table was already set for 8 people which was amazing. Overall food and vibes are amazing.

Great hidden gem in Newmarket. It s a small family dinner that gets everything right. We both had bennies (Grilled Veggies Benny and Lenny s Benny) - and the eggs were spot-on. We paired it with the drip coffee and a latte. My wife is very picky about her lattes and this one passed her bar. If you re around, don t be fooled by the industrial surroundings and try it. You likely won t regret.

My family loves this little gem of a restaurant. All breakfast and lunch items are fresh and delicious. Pretty sure all staff are under a NDA in regards to thier homemade aioli sauce. Its so delish! The Little Griddle formally known as Lazy Daisy is by far our favourite place for breakfast or lunch. We have tried all kinds of stuff on their very creative menu and there hasn t been a single dish we ve had that we don t like. We have brought many people to try with us and have made returning customers from all. Their daily specials are always spot on especially beef dip Monday s. Make sure to get there early on Monday s if you plan on ordering the beef dip though, it s so good and sells out very quickly. If you have a special place in your heart for home made soups, this is definitely the place for you. They have changing soups all the time and they are so so good and totally hit the spot. Worth a try if you ve never been, you won t regret it. Even if you don t dine in, their takeout or even Uber eats is amazing as well.

Never, ever a bad meal. Fresh, good quality, homestyle cooking with a unique twist on many items. Always served with a smile, easily accomodate changes for allergies or likes/dislikes. Ive been to this restaurant a handful of times for takeout and have only ever gotten the beef dip sandwich, because it is such a hearty and filling and comforting dish that I can have it every day. I found this place as a result of a Google search for places to have breakfast in Newmarket. I was very pleased with the reviews and the fact that it was a family run business, so was excited to try it. It definitely delivered in every aspect. Service was warm and inviting and food was hot and delicious. Restaurant is small but didnt feel crowded. Parking was a bit of challenge but didnt wait long for a spot. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast and will definitely return to try their lunch.

This is an adorable little brunch spot tucked away near the DriveTest centre in Newmarket. Their eggs Benedict were delicious (phenomenal hollandaise sauce!) and the portions were so generous for a great price!! The service is also insanely fast and the staff are so lovely. Amazing breakfast spot and a go-to in the city for consistently well cooked food at a very fair price. The home fries are best-in-class and I have yet to have something that isnt made with care. My wife and I regularly enjoy dining in and delivery.

It is a hidden gem for wonderful breakfasts at the unexpected corner. As a big fan of Elpida coffees, it is very lovely to see local businesses promoting each other. With very tasteful and generous foods and super friendly staffs, only downside, somewhat irrelevant to the Lazy Daisy Cafe itself, is parkings which are very limited.

Long overdue review. I visited The Lazy Daisy last September with my husband for a tasty breakfast. It was an amazing experience to be honest the way we were treated as valued customers. Super tasty food and very customizable service as we had some food restrictions. We were fully respected for our choices. Why I decided to review now: First of all, I apologize as I was under a lot of stress for last many months. Also, I visited another place today outside a Ontario and I could not stop myself from comparing the experience with The Lazy Daisy as that was far much better than this. Bottom line is that The Lazy Daisy cafe is a Newmarket must have!!!

Absolutely delicious 100% of the time. Their daily specials are different every day so you have constant and consistent goodness. The soups and sandwiches in particular are a must; all of them.

I have to agree with a previous reviewer that the Lenny s Benny was absolutely perfect. A large side of fresh fruit. Wonderful and my friend and I are planning our next visit already. Our server Tyler was great.

I ve worked down the road from this place for years I just recently tried it out and oh man was I ever missing out. Their food is so fresh and always SO delicious. They always change their specials so it helps you make a choice on what to try, their ingredients/toppings are always fresh and compliment the meal perfectly. I would recommend this place to anyone, it truly is a hidden gem!! To top it off, the staff and environment is so welcoming and cozy. This is my go to lunch spot now :)

So glad we found this hidden little gem in Newmarket! The reviews and pics looked good on Google so we decided to check it out and so glad we did. So many breakfast and lunch options, we couldnt decide. The double decker Monte Cristo sandwich with real ham (not processed) was so delicious! My friend loved her breakfast burrito. Cant wait to come back and try something different on the menu. Just wish they were open later for dinner too. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu offered

Our brunch was good, but what really stood out to me was the quality of the latte - perfectly textured milk and a clear coffee taste without a hint of bitterness. A combination of skill, high quality fresh beans, and good equipment. Id place it in the top three of the Aurora/Stouffville/Newmarket area.

Seeing the good reviews, we came here once early this year with very high expectations and the place was packed. So we made reservations this time, and was a bit annoyed that when we arrive the owner/waiter denying he has record of our reservation. As there was a table about ready to leave. After a few minutes of waiting we were able to be seated. The food was ok but probably our expectations were too high, we feel it doesnt match the average 4.8 rating. Parking: Limited parking space.

Great little family run spot in Newmarket. Eggs Benny cooked perfectly and the crispy chicken was Delish. Potatoes have a great spice to them and everything super fresh

Service and staff were great, super friendly and it was really nice that our server would check in on us from time to time to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The restaurant was cute and reminded me of a cute small diner, a rare find especially in the suburbs. Food was good, nothing fancy since we just ordered the typical basic breakfast with eggs, toast and bacon/sausage. Pricing was average and the place was clean. Would definitely come back again if Im ever in the area.
