Paris Crêpes Café is a beautiful marriage of fine French cuisine set in the old traditional French bistro style. We offer a true and authentic taste of France, unlike any other restaurant in the Niagara region. The Paris Crepes team will provide you with the warmth and hospitality that one would expect from a French-bistro. We take pride in our relaxed and informal environment where you will want to linger over a glass of fabulous French or Niagara VQA wine!
It's my 3rd time coming here in the span of 10 yrs ,every time it's been consistently excellent, the choice of ingredients fresh and gourmet together create a well balanced plate.. and yes the French onion soup is very good..
This place was absolutely amazing. The only reason I am rating it a a 4 star is the price was a tad high for the portion sizes. If there was a 4.8 rating then that would be justified. If I was rating on food alone without price then it’s a 5. We had the French Onion Soup ($18.50) and the Beef Bourguignon ($42.50). In my opinion soup should have been reasonably priced at $12 and the Beef dish around $28-$32. We also had the ice wine ($16 for 2 oz) but OMG was it amazing. The flavor on the wine was the best I’ve ever had. Very fruity tasting. Lastly we had the Crème Brûlée ($12) fair price. That dish was very good as well. I will for sure be back dispute the higher price point. The atmosphere was relaxing and very romantic with dim lighting. Candles at every table. The server we had tonight was very pleasant and friendly.
Food was amazing and the ambiance is perfect! I felt like I was in Paris all over again. We had the French onion soup, warm croissants and Galettes!!!! EVERYTHING was fresh and delicious! If you come this way please stop by IMMEDIATELY ❤️
I recently had the most amazing crepes. I ordered the BELLECOTTE with egg, spinach, goat cheese, and mushroom, as well as the SUD OUEST with egg, Swiss cheese, onion jam, and duck confit. Both options were absolutely delicious. We visited the restaurant on a Saturday for an early dinner and were seated immediately, which was great. It's important to note that if you're in a rush, this may not be the best place for you as the food took some time to be served. However, the atmosphere was very relaxed and laid back.
We were a big group so made reservation in advance. Arrived on time and were seated immediately. We loved how the restaurant is decorated, it could fit several big groups and there are plenty of small tables as well. Overall the food was great, especially Galettes. We ordered three Galettes which were all yummy! The crepes of “Sud Quest” (duck confit one) was crispy, it combined well with the duck confit, not too oily. While Rocamadour (as recommended by the server we added prosciutto on top) was very well balanced as goat cheese went well with the honey and walnut, though the crepes was not as crispy as Sud Quest one. Egg benedit, however, didn’t bring us any surprise. It was so-so, but we did love their baguettes, really freshly baked!! About the service I could say improvement is needed. The servers were not friendly overall. Anyway, with good food we may visit this place again next time
The Papillon was amazing!! The flavor was delicious! The meal my husband got was okay it wasn’t bad don’t get me wrong. I do recommend this place. The crepe was nothing special. We went on my birthday, I didn’t know my husband gave the waitress a little candle to put on my crepe until it didn’t happen. She brought it out and I saw him look at her, but didn’t know until we left he gave it to her when I went to wash my hands. So that was disappointing because he wanted to do something special and she dropped the ball. The restaurant is on the smaller side, I wish I sat near the door it was very hot in it.
We made a Saturday brunch reservation for my group of 11 several months in advance. We had read about this place via a blog about where to go when visiting Niagara Falls and “off the beaten path” restaurants on the Canadian side. As far as service goes - I think they were having a rough Saturday morning. They were very busy and only two gals were running the tables (one very friendly server and one less friendly server). We were greeted and eventually seated by the friendly server and then, unfortunately, had the unfriendly server as our server. I’m going to chalk it up to being a chaotic morning - I’ve been a server before - but I do think she needs to adjust her attitude because it really does impact the customer experience. The crepes were absolutely delicious. They are made right there in the front of the restaurant, I believe. The bakery items (croissants and baguettes) were soft and very fresh tasting. Everything was fantastic. The mimosas/ cocktails were yummy and the French press coffee was good, too. Be mindful - there is no kids menu. We had a few kids with us and they enjoyed the crepes with fruit. If you have a picky child, you might have a hard time getting them to eat something here. This seems like a cute breakfast place for adults mostly (couples or small groups). The street itself is a bit questionable - lots of homeless people walking around. Don’t plan on walking around the street to kill time before or after. All in all - my group was very happy we made the reservation and enjoyed the food and quaint French atmosphere.
I would have given this place five stars but the waitress was very short and not very nice. It took longer to get our check then it did to get our food. That being said, the crepes are absolutely amazing. We got a savory and a sweet and I would definitely get both of them again. Also, the cafe is very charming.
Delicious food with good options for those with allergies and intolerances. Jade was amazing ! She made sure we got our orders as needed and expected. Its her kind and professional service that levelled up our experience and made it a 5 stars one!
So sorry I didnt take a photo, but the food was spectacular. Such unique options and the freshly baked croissants were an absolute hir.
Staff was incredibly friendly, atmosphere was wonderful and the food and drinks were excellent! Highly recommend!
This would have been a 5 star review - but they are price gouging when it comes to espresso!! Ordered two lattes and they CHARGED $25!!! FOR TWO LATTES!!! Not even Starbucks charges that much food was great, service was great though I would have appreciated being told that they were charging so much for damn espresso my advice to the owner would be to buck up and buy a proper espresso machine, that way you don t need to charge people so much to pay for your Nespresso pods .. which are not that good anyway.
Pretty good grapes but they lay them flat I prefer mine rolled overb
6 years ago: Great brunch, great service. Today: Great brunch, bright engaging staff and owner. Paris Crêpes Cafe has been a fave for many, many years; and I hope they continue as they are for many years into the future. Their Soupe A Loignon was fantastic -- I ate a lot of it with my fork! Likewise the Assiette Campagnard [charcuterie and cheeses] was the best weve ever had, and our guests were delighted. Keep up the good work!
The photos in my review say it all. I m from Edmonton and am serving as guest to some seasoned locals. This is the flavour they wanted to show me, and I m pleased they did. I feel like I need a second round tomorrow.
Its alright, I only got a savory crepe and it was pretty good nothing special. So I cant comment on their sweet options. After taxes and a tip it was $30 for just a crepe and a water kinda overpriced if you ask me. There was one large party and maybe like 3 other people there and the service was very slow.
Fantastic food .. amazing staff French onion soup and foie gras was perfect.. Food
Delicious!
Server was v rude. She got our order wrong. When asked for a side plate, she yelled back I can t right now!
Server was really rude
loved the authentic Paris experience! Rude waiters, took forever to even put in the order, and prices like I m on top of the Eiffel Tower!
If you appreciate respectful service with a smile, where servers give you the right number of cups and cutlery (without tossing them on the table, leaving it to you to distribute), enough sugar/milk, and dont make excuses for forgetting things, DO NOT EAT HERE! It is a shame really because it is beautifully decorated and the food was tasty, but our server was unhappy for whatever reason and spoke to us abruptly the entire time. The table was not properly set and as I mentioned above, and there was no attention to detail. (It is too expensive for anything less than great.) Maybe they dont care to be known for good service. Sadly, it tarnished my familys celebration. We wont be back.
Phenomenal atmosphere, and phenomenal flavour!
Terrible service!
Great food. Great stuff. Will enjoy again. Thank you for having our family and hosting my husband and I for our anniversary.
The food is nice but the service is terrible. We almost waited for 10 mins for the waitress to give us the menu. And we waited for another 10 to 15 mins after we asked them for the bill.
If you are looking for good service this isn t the place for you! Especially if Todd is your waiter and your skin tone isn t white ..
We searched this place out based on reviews. We were staying at the falls. Traveled to an eclectic area of town and was rewarded with an excellent breakfast. Four of us all agreed, we would highly recommend. Folks from Connecticut
On a 3 day trip to niagara falls, this had the best meal hands down!!!
Was looking forward to trying this place. The staff was great but the food was a miss. Would not go back.
Thank you Jade and Chef Thierry for a most pleasurable gastronomic feast this week. The Blue Cheese Mussels are superb and the fresh baguette is perfect to soak up the remaining specialty sauce after devouring the final moules. I love every visit to Paris Crepe; the jewel of downtown Niagara Falls.
Quaint environment, delicious food, great service. The chef personally served my Steak and Eggs..nice touch..Ill be back
One word review: MAGNIFIQUE! I finally was able to visit this restaurant while in Niagara Falls. From the decor to the atmosphere to the food to the music to the French press coffee, I felt like I was in Paris! We ordered the Papillon and Florence crepes which were top notch as well as the service by our lovely server. Wishing the owner much success!
Food was average french food. Not too good not too bad definitely not worth the price. However the service was horrible. Our server was very rude to begin with, there was nothing pleasant about her. We ordered 2 entrees for 2 people, both came out at a 10 minutes difference. We had to get up from table and ask for condiments and utensils. If you wanna ruin your day with terrible service, this is your place.
Superb
AVOID IF YOU WANT A GOOD EXPERIENCE Very poor service from that old waitress with a pair of glasses. Ruins the whole vacation experience.
If youre looking for the typical Paris crepe made by an Asian man in sweatpants, this place is most certainly for you.
The food is good, but the service left much to deserve. The waitress was unfriendly and not interested in bringing a good service.
A typically French restaurant, with elegant and succulent dishes. The atmosphere brings a little piece of France to Canada and makes it a charming place! The waitress who took care of us was adorable and tried to speak a little French.
A lot of the reviews are negative, we didnt face anything that was said in these reviews! The staff were nice and kind and the food was delicious. The French onion soup was nice and hot, same as the tomato soup. All of the food was good and tasted fresh and was all hot! The dessert was warm and tasty. The restaurant design was adorable and super cozy, they even kindly let us pick where we wanted to sit! We chose a lovely seat by the window. The server was fast too.
This review is just my point of view. My wife adores Paris, France and everything related to it. The Eiffel Tower at the entrance, the hospitality and attentiveness of the owner, and the stylized interior and menu are in French. Oh, Paris, Paris... Yes, it is a very nice touristic place to visit. But only once and not on a weekend. If there is an opportunity - visit it in the middle of the week. It is very crowded and noisy on weekends. I have been to this restaurant several times, and only now am I writing this review. With each subsequent visit, you begin to pay attention to other details. Croissants and fresh bread with butter and jam are classics and delicious. It would have been even tastier if the croissants were fresher, which surprised me a bit. But this is only a small part of the menu. The names of many dishes on the menu look much more attractive than their appearance and presentation design. People are coming to you not for large portions but for the desire to spend a little time in a little piece of France. I had much better French onion soup in Spain than here. At my request to bring coffee in European restaurants, the waiters always, strangely enough, bring coffee. Here they brought me... yes, a pint of the French press. Excuse me, please; I mentioned coffee, not a bucket of coffee. Guys, you have La Dame de Fer in front of the entrance. After the waiter saw our look of surprise, he brought me coffee, that is, espresso. In general, you can take a good photo of yourself in a French restaurant and eat there. But dont expect haute French cuisine. Its not 5. Unfortunately.
Very cute. Nice atmosphere, exceptional crepes and coffee up to the Italian palate.
Visiting Niagara Falls for the day and was seeking a better restaurant than what is typically found in the touristy area. Came across Paris Crêpes Café and unfortunately our toddler was feeling a little under the weather. The staff here was very kind enough to set everything for us to go and we enjoyed back at our hotel. Service and food were spectacular, Canard Confit aux Truffes et a lail Croustillant, Foie Gras, Filet de Thon Brillance were all excellent as were the crêpes! Highly recommend for anyone seeking excellent dining experience while visiting the falls!
Read some reviews beforehand and thought this restaurant was a must go. After our visit I d affirm that once more - you must go. We visited during the dinner time, when the town was relatively calm, less crowded. If you re bit tired from the nightly parties and noises at tourist attractions around the hotels and casinos, this restaurant will cure your heart. All the menus were splendid and surpassed our expectations. Will visit here again in our next travel to Niagara. Parking: The street in front of the red had free parking for Weekdays at 5PM or after. Otherwise, it was a simple metered paid street parking system. Kid-friendliness: The whole restaurant was super friendly and kind to children. You d surely love the atmosphere.
This place does French Cuisine right. Crepes taste identical to ones that I have had in Paris, France. True Parisan food
Amazing!!! Great mimosas!
The most amazing little French restaurant, tucked away in downtown Niagara Falls ! I even made a new friend and cant wait to see her again ( one of the owners ) . What an amazing person ! Outstanding service and atmosphere, especially being European, It was like walking down memory lane . Thank you
I had the onion soup (scratch made) and the confit duck gourmet crepe and I have to say it was probably the best of the two that Ive ever had in 33 years (15 of which as a professional cook). Very friendly people, delicious food, and freshly squeezed OJ is enough to make my entire weekend. Thank you for the great food and service, we will definitely be returning.
Back again 6 months later with the whole family, still the best French Onion Soup in the world. Brunch menu is amazing. - Absolutely amazing, the French Onion soup, savory crepe, and Niagra Falls desert Crepe were all delightful, and the service was first class. It was so much fun to be served by someone who obviously loves what they do and is great at it. We were there for an early dinner, but they were filling up as we left.
Gourmande was excellent! Great service and loved the atmosphere. French Press Coffee was top notch!
What an incredible place. This was our 2nd visit in a week. Everything was so good. We had the fresh bread and jams followed by 2 savory crepes and the best was the sweet crepe. Next time we are town from Miami we will be back!! Great job!
Food was amazing ! Service left much to be a desired. Took 35 minutes to get cream for my coffee. Was pretty much done my crepe by the time I was able to enjoy my drink which also took about 15 minutes to even get that. Waitress seemed annoyed and over worked from the moment we got there. Totally get everyone has their days just unfortunate for our first time here celebrating a birthday. Will probably order take out if possible when in the area again
Great food and a cute Paris atmosphere. We loved that this wasnt a chain and wasnt a tourist trap. Lovely local place with delicious food and friendly service. Highly recommended
I cannot say enough fantastic things about this place. We went for lunch with a party of 18 for lunch. I did make a reservation but understand large parties can be a strain on smaller restaurants. The food was amazing and the server was very friendly and accommodating with the numerous requests from our large group. Highly recommended!
Beautiful place, spectacular breakfast, pleasant atmosphere. I recommend it 100%.
Excellent service food was good prices competitive, will definitely be back again Vegetarian options: Yed
Expensive, Terrible food and terrible service. The place was pretty dead when we got here for lunch. Our waitress was fairly picky about where we could sit on the patio. There was 2 of us but as you can see they have really tiny Ikea balcony bistro tables outside so we picked one that was 2 tables together. She said she had to keep these spots open for bigger groups. Except the entire place including the streets were empty. We ordered the mimosas which attracted a swarm of wasps. There were too many of them to keep off our drinks. The waitress never came outside to check on us while our food was being prepared. And so by the time she came out with food we had dead wasps in our drinks. The food by the way took 30 mins to come out. We asked to move inside to eat since we were being bothered by the wasps. We ate inside and the food was just so underwhelming. If you re going to charge 20 bucks for eggs and take 30 mins to cook them then it should at least be tasty. My eggs were so overdone. There no way the croissants were fresh or baked in house. The crepe was bland and tasteless and the food was cold. When we got our bill the mimosas were still being charged to us even though we barely got a sip. The waitress said that s not her problem. We said that we didn t even get to drink them and she didn t even offer to get us new drinks. It s just common sense - if you care about your clientele. She said she would have to ask her manager but the manager is on break so we had to wait. She did end up removing them off our bill but not without letting us know what a big favour it was. When we left the drinks were actually still sitting out on the patio table - she never even bothered to pick them up. As you can see from the patio it was dead and there was no real reason for such poor food and service.
Service was friendly and the food was good. They were missing a number of key items on their menu which was a big bummer (no duck items and no beef bourguignon) but we were able to choose other options.
Omg I absolutely loved this place!!! The food was incredible and the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area!
If you are staying in Niagara on the Canadian side and have a car, I recommend coming here for breakfast. It s only about a 5 minute drive from the main area. It s super cute and the food was really delicious. It s a great escape from the super touristy area.
Watch out! They autograt you AND tax you on it and double charge me for 4 extra hot waters! $1.5each for hot waters! lol. We were sat and order taken before the neighbour table, but we were served after they were half way done. If I could, I would give this place -5stars Given they over charge us of the 4 hot waters and with grats included the bill came to $130 and we paid $125 cash. And now he complains we didn t pay the full bill. We just don t pay for rudeness and ignorance. Some low class people pretending to be classy and wanted high class customers. And don t worry, we won t go back even if you pay me!
Appalling service. Visited this restaurant yesterday and had limited time between bridal appointments so we ordered and paid at the same time. After being served, we were neglected for the rest of our meal. When my 6 year old daughter started coughing on a piece of her croissant, I walked to the back bar and asked two waitresses for a glass of water as our server never returned to the table. They refused to pour the water claiming they were too busy with dishes (which neither of them were doing?). I found their response shocking. The glasses and water were right infront of them and it would have taken a second. Fortunately, I was able to get water for my daughter from my car nearby and the rest of my party followed me out. We will never return to this establishment.
Server Todd
Crepes were great, exactly what we wanted. I got a savory one and my partner got a sweet one. We both enjoyed our food. It came quickly too. It was weird, Everytime a party came in they asked if they had reservations. It was weird, made it feel like they were trying to be elite. But that was the only odd thing.
Such a cute café to visit, definitely give it a try. The salmon eggs benedict were so good. Ive had this dish before but it tastes like, a thousand times better served with a croissant. The overall aesthetic in the restaurant is really nice, if you dress up in a cute little outfit, Id recommend taking some photos for your socials. The only issue I found with this place was the service. The gentleman who was our waiter was kind of awkward and didnt really say much, but he was still polite. Would probably go back the next time Im in the area!
A-MAZING place. I have to say the baguette was the best I ever had, nice little starter plate. Needless to say we ate the entire thing. Crepes were also amazing with many options. Coffee was fantastic. Really enjoyed this stop. The sever was super friendly was well!
It was a very nice experience. The food was delicious and the service was so nice and friendly staff. The coffee was delicious, too.
Food was perfect, unfortunately they were too busy (only 1 server) she forgot to give us one of our order. Another reason to go back.
Service is slow and not welcoming. Food is average. If you like waiting and being ignored- this is the place just right for you We came in with 2 toddlers and the place had a table for 4, we agreed to sit there as we could fit toddlers on the bench with us. A rude lady told us to wait as the table wasn t cleaned, so a kid had to get off the table and wait. Same lady walked away and for 5 minutes I was watching her looking at me and not coming to the table. 15 minutes later the table was mopped by another waitress when I looked at them with the hope in my eyes. Once we got sitted, no one came over. We never got the menus, so we got them ourselves. The waitress then came over and we placed an order. 30 minutes later we had 2 coffees on the table of 6, no ordered juices, no waters - because why bringing water to people. 50 minutes later we got the food. Soup was served with other dishes at once. ( soup was pretty good!), we also got salmon Bennies ( meh, nothing to talk about here) and eggs in wine sauce ( it was good). Drinks were still not served. We asked for the juice and cider again and got them in the middle of being done with the meal. And one of us got juice spilled over her clothes by the waitress. We also ordered bread and croissants and they were fresh and soft. Our crepe that was put in with the order as the second course wasn t served. We asked for check and waited. When the check arrived, we pointed that the crepe was never served and the waitress asked if we still want it ( by the way, it wasn t served as the chef doesn t like when there are plates on the table at this point we only had drinks left on the table , so still questionable ) Maybe they not as busy on regular days, we came in on Saturday. Also, interior is beautiful, just like in Paris. I will definitely not recommend this place for any of the people I know so they don t get such a bad experience. Thank you for reading.
OMG! Leave the crowds behind. Whata fantastic menu and atmosphere. Dont waste your time in the tourist traps. Lots of parking in the area. Weve been on a 3 day Canadian adventure and this place is the gastronomic star of our trip.
We absolutely love Paris Crepes for years now right from the atmosphere, amazing staff & incredible food Vegetarian options: PCC will accommodate any diet restrictions Parking: You can always find parking
This is such a charming and cheerful spot to go. Starr B was beautifically babe boss; the food was divine, and the atmosphere was truly Parisian. I highly recommend it.
The pure chocolate crepe was so bad, it s just a square crepe with nothing on it waaayyyy too sweet. (~9.50)The French pressed coffee was not very good. The oeuf Benedict was alright. (~22.00) I asked to sub the salmon for something else and they offered mushrooms and spinach. The mushrooms and eggs were nice but it doesn t really reflect the price imo. Server was very nice and atmosphere was alright too but the menu could be improved. (Didn t take a pic of the chocolate crepe but it was literally just a flat square on a plate)
Bad service. Food wasnt good and way too pricey. Espresso was burnt, croissant was stale, smoked salmon was turning gray and tasted off, and waitress wasnt friendly.
My friends and I enjoyed the food, decor, and vibe. Our server was very nice. I liked my duck confit crepe with onion jam.
Nice French style café work déjeuner (brunch) options. We liked the atmosphere and it was a good break from the American-style brunch spots on Niagara
We enjoyed dinner here last week to get away from the touristy restaurants in Niagara. Its a cozy dimly lit place, great ambience. The baguette and butter was delicious to start. It took a while for the entrees to arrive but it was worth the wait. Beef bourguignon was fantastic. Seared tuna was also good. For dessert we had nutella crepes, which were amazing. The bill was much lower here with quality food compared to the tourist traps places. I would come here all the time if we lived in this area. Parking was street parking but there was no charge that day/time. Only complaint would be that it was humid with the doors open.
Great service even though there was only one server. The food is wonderful, the crepes are huge. The ice cream on top of the crepes is so good I ve never had anything like it. Cute restaurant too
So unexpected to find a real French Cafe in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Off the beaten path in a very cool neighborhood. The charcuterie board is unbelievably good including homemade duck rillettes and sausages. Classic onion soup and a surprisingly varied menu. Huge list of crepes, both savory and sweet. And an authentic atmosphere!
Really great crepes and beautiful decor! I felt like I was back in a cafe back in France.
Such a hidden gem! The cheese platter was amazing. The food was delicious. The tea and latte were great!
Such an amazing place and food. I wish I could take them home. Those wine soaked eggs are to die for! Dietary restrictions: GF crepes (made w buck wheat)
The crepes were delicious. We definitely felt like we were in Paris. Highly recommend the Rocamadour or the gourmande for a great balance of sweet and salty. The patio is small but at least we could have our dog with us.
Thierry and his staff are always 5 stars, with each visit you are ensured great food and service, with nice ambiance, and a true Parisien experience. Thankyou all.
What a great little find for us on our visit to the Falls. I found myself craving authentic crepes and this was the first place that came up when I searched for crepes, so why not. We were so impressed with the taste and how filling everything was, and the taste that we just can t get around home, and Star was such a wonderful host (sorry, I didn t get the name of the server that stepped in toward the end). 10 out of 10 I recommend you go!
Came here for brunch with my friends and we got seated right away. Our server gave us lots of recommendations and helped us pick exactly what we wanted. We got our drinks shortly after and our food came after. We all enjoyed our dishes a lot. Definitely a great place to stop by if you re in the area
Beautiful cafe but no Wi-Fi.
Many GF buckwheat options. Wow, I had the savory duck crepe and it was amazing. Other people in our party had the Nutella with fruit and it was equally as good. This is still the best crepe place I have ever been too. Service was subpar this visit. Dietary restrictions: Street parking. Many GF buckwheat options. Parking: Weekend Sat evening free street parking.
Great price for high quality and quantity. Foie Gras is must try. Yet, it closes early at 8pm.
Amazing food, totally worth to drive from Toronto
The food was Amazing! Gives you a Paris vibe Highly recommended Food
Everything was delicious, the French onion soup, the duck confit, beef bourguignon, and the crepes... my goodness the crepes. Dont let the location fool you, this place is worth it.
Terrible service , front of house was horrible rude We showed up to try and eat , unaware that a reservation was needed. She yelled at the people ahead of us waiting outside. I politely went in to ask how long the wait was if they arent taking walk ins right now. She was nasty and yelled at me. I told her that she didnt have to have an attitude. She said that she was tired of telling me. I told her Ive never been there before and she told me that I was part of the same group she already said no to. Horrible customer service, she could have just explained they were booked , instead she rudely scrolled on the tablet showing all the people who booked ahead. We are on a bachelorette trip and the bride was really looking forward to trying this restaurant. That server should not be working in the service industry if this is how she wants to treat people.
Great food however the hostess/waitress at the front lacks basic manners when dealing with customers (the blonde lady with pink hair). She s aggressive, hostile and has some serious anger issues. Maybe that s part of the authentic French experience at this cafe. Again, great food!
Heads up, the server is very rude. Some friends and I were walking around and saw the place was empty, so we decided to go in. When asked if we could be seated, the server said No in a very condescending tone. She then asked if we had reservations, and we said no. She then upped her attitude and started ushering us out of the place. One of my friends asked if she could order takeout, and she once again said no in a very stern voice as if we had done something to the place other than passing through the door. For some reason, the server still had the gal to say in a mocking tone, Better luck to get a reservation for tomorrow. Mind you, this was a 2 minute interaction tops, and the only thing we did was going in and asking if we could be seated.
Went to this place on 12th May. Host on the entrance was extremely rude. When we asked for a table she flatly and loudly said - NO! and then proceeded to ask if we have a reservation. Logic would dictate that she ask if we have a reservation before refusing tables. Their website does not say they need advance reservation, which the host insisted that they only do reservations. We asked if they did take-away which again the host loudly refused and gestured us to get out of the restaurant. I understand if there is a rush or the place is fully booked but neither of those warrant rude behavior towards guests. 0/10 service, the ambience and decor looked good though.
My crepe was delicious and the service was good
Must visit when in Niagara Falls!
Several lunch choices. The meal with the eggs benedict are excellent, I recommend it. The poached eggs are very divine and the food is very tasty! The Parisian atmosphere is fabulous.
Food was good, Service was not good. Our server did not introduce herself or anything on the menu she forgot to order my girlfriends main forgot to bring a soda and accidentally made a second cappuccino. We were in a group of 8 so they automatically add a 18% tip. I would not tip so much for this kind of service but I didnt want to complain. I think the servers dont feel responsible for their tables if they automatically receive tips. Our two crepes and cappuccino cost over $50.
Its a different vibe when you go in, French theme everywhere. Simple menu and great there is gluten free option of buckwheat too. Chose the goats cheese and spinach which was nice. Servings are big we shared one. Table of 8 so the tip was included in the bill so the service wasnt there at all. Coffee was bitter, we would go back
A really adorable creperie near other shops. Our friendly waiter recommended the French onion soup and salmon crepe, which we loved. The atmosphere had an old French style, with warm colors and old posters. Would definitely come back.
We loved everything about this lovely place- from our server, to the atmosphere, to the chef/owner, to the food- magnificent!
Delicious food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
Great service! French music set the lovely ambiance along with the Parisien decoration. The cappuccino was good. The French75 (gin, lemon, sparkling wine) was a very good cocktail to start the meal. The Papillon (Egg, swiss cheese, ham, apple compote) is absolutely delicious. Followed up with the Bounty (Nutella, coconut, chantilly cream and almonds) that was incredible. Will return again!
Loved the crepes here, really great place to stop in for brunch! Food came out quickly, and the juice is freshly squeezed, which is so nice first thing in the morning. A little pricey, but worth it considering the number of other places that are only half as good recommended for a weekday breakfast!
Fantastic
Best escargot and the best French onion soup. Desert was over the top. With the creme Brulee Out of all the places in Canada. This location has the best one. Food
What a gem! Looking for a nice brunch place for my wifes birthday while visiting Niagara falls. Nice variety of sweet and savory crepes. Breakfast and lunch dishes as well. Croissants were out of this world. Would visit again next time we visit. Vegetarian options: There are several savory crepes which feature only vegetables and cheese. For lacto-ovo vegetarians they also feature savory crepes with egg and cheese with vegetables.
Bellecotte (savoury crepe) as well as the sweet crepes were delicious!
The best Benedict Ive had in my life! Highly recommend this place it was truly an experience and the staff were just the nicest people!
Dietary restrictions: They sell gluten-free crepes. Food
Cutest Paris Brunch spot. All their savoury crepes are gluten free and made on their own. A little bit pricey but big portion and cute decor
The sweet crepes are the best I have ever had. The croissant and baguette were amazing! We might go back tomorrow - so good! Dietary restrictions: The savoury crepes are gluten free
WOW!! AWESOME PLACE!! Great food, and service!!! All I had to do was close my eyes and think that I was in Paris!!
Lovely experience, beware some menu items may not be abailable.
Spent a romantic weekend with my gf in niagara falls last year and we arrived way earlier than our hotel checkin time so we hopped on yelp and found this highly rated french bistro 10-15 min away. When we arrived, we didnt notice any street parking out front (as its a quaint little spot) so we pulled up in the back where there was designated parking). The first thing you notice when you walk in to the resto is french posters and older paint finishes on the bar and upholstery). There was one waitress manning the entire front of house but luckily it wasnt too busy at lunch on a friday. She was extremely nice and bubbly. We were sat and brought water right away. We settled on a pair of savoury crepes. The sud ouest (which was made with duck confit) and the papillon (which came with ham and apple compote). We also ordered some chai and a cappucino to wash it all down. We were both pleasantly surprised with the big size of the crepes. Both crepes were delicious. So crispy and thin. The onion jam went so well with the duck but the true star of the show was the apple compote in the papillon crepe. It was a PERFECT balance of flavours. The saltiness of the ham and swiss cheese combined with the sweetness of the apple was just an explosive bite every time. Im not sure if the resto uses farm to table philosophy, but the ingredients tasted REALLY fresh. The cheese was very good quality and I felt like they cured their own ham in house. My gf gave the cappucino double thumbs ups and while the chai latte wasnt the best one Ive ever had, it was very, very solid and not overly sweet. It was an amazing meal to start a weekend getaway trip and Ill be back in the future for sure! (possibly for dinner?)
Best crepes I ve had !
Food tastes good & big portion! Warm vibe! Recommend for waterfall visitors!
The coffee was delicious. The crepes were superb. The decor - a little cheesy . But it didn t take away from the experience.
Hidden gem in Niagara Falls! Delicious crepes and friendly service. Well worth stopping in for a gourmet breakfast or brunch with a warm atmosphere.
Best French onion soup
Our favorite place at The Falls. Always a must stop on every visit for us. Parking: Free street parking on weekends and evenings. Wheelchair accessibility: The entire place is accessible.
Blink and youve arrived en France! Always a perfect choice and truly, the only reason to go to Queen Street. Great coffee and the Crepes...mmmmmmm. When you walk in, you are pleasantly assaulted by the aroma of butter and sugar. Love it! Merci Thierry!!!
Really good food, everything very clean, had I good time there!
OBSESSED with this place. I go every time I stay in Niagara. Its a must visit in Niagaras underrated and underappreciated Authentic Downtown main strip. The owner is French, many of the recipes are from his family, they are AUTHENTIC. 10/10
Fantastic location and always good atmosphere. Food is great. You will not be disappointed
Extremely rude service, won t come back again.
Really good crepes and coffee!!
The French crepes are very authentic, the spinach cheese ingredients are of good quality, and the steak breakfast plate has many ingredients and is delicious The service staff are very friendly! It is some distance away from the waterfall area. It takes about 6 minutes to walk after getting off at the Wego Green Line stop. There are very few pedestrians on the road, and there are more conversations in French. The streets are quiet and beautiful, and I feel very relaxed
Ok. Alright. You should just go. Its worth it. This was a stop based solely on reviews on the Find Me Gluten Free app. There was something for everyone including a celiac. Holy cow. Our wait staff, Charlotte, was so friendly and wonderful. Patient with our crew of kids. Chef handled the kids special requests (mostly adding bananas to their crepes) as well as the 2 celiac orders we had. They had sweet and savory (new to me) and oh.my.gosh. it was so good. Best crepe of my life. All the kids finished their plates, actually EVERYONE finished their entire plate. You should go here. We didnt find much else to do in the immediate area BUT this is so worth it. Were planning a trip to Canada (6.5hrs) just for these. Yum. Chef was so pleasant and our server was working her tail off as she seemed to be the only one working tables that day. Go. Just do it. So good. Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options
Food is so-so. The food came extremely slow. A 50 mins wait for a simple crepe after ordering. And it s expensive too.
This was a cute spot to find and we appreciated the French radio being played and other French accents throughout. The food was delicious and fresh. The smell of fresh crepes fills the space and is heavenly. The service was a tad slow but overall very good and attentive.
We made a reservation (for 6), waited 15 minutes then had to ask for menus. There were just 2 staff cooking and serving. Menu didnt offer the crepes we wanted. We left.
Great French cafe! All was good, food was amazing. Would highly recommend if visiting to experience a smaller off the beaten path! Make sure to do a reservation. We did! :) charlotte was a great server
Worth for the price. Really delicious, and food is good.
Definitely lived up to all the sweet expectations. The price is high, but it shows in their great quality. Their staff is super friendly and made us feel like friends visiting.
This place has amazing crepes. Atmosphere made me miss my time in Paris. Your place was perfect. Thank you so much
Wonderful atmosphere, food and the staff is amazing. I had the oeufs en Meurette. We will probably be back tomorrow.
We have been going to Paris Crepes for over 10 years now and we love it here because we truly feel like we in a charming French bistro. Service is consistent and we are always warmly welcomed. Food is authentically delicious and our girls love the sweet Crepes (especially when they get the icecream on top). The interior and exterior are beautiful and match the theme of the bistro. We are so happy to see this restaurant continue to do so well over all these years. Keep up the great work and we will be in again very soon!
We waited a while before anyone greeted us or asked for drink orders. The food was very very expensive for what we got. My meal was 26$ and after eating all of it I was still hungry.
Delicious food, amazing coffee, friendly staff
Fantastic selection of crepes, both savory and sweet. Cozy atmosphere with lots of historic French posters.
I expected a lot more. We were disappointed with both the service and the quality of the food. The crepes looked wonderful (photos supporting them), but the taste was below average. The espresso coffee and juice were too long and the croissant expensive for a grocery store croissant taste... nothing like a real French croissant. In conclusion, a restaurant that is far too expensive for what it offers.
Very cute place. Super fast and friendly service, went out of their way to make a vegan option off menu for lunch!
French style pretty place, with pretty expensive prices ;)
The food was great and the staff was friendly. The nicoise salad had a very generous helping if tuna and the crepes were fresh and tasty. Would definitely go again.
Excellent meal! Excellent service! Upcoming space guaranteed for all visitors
Too expensive for the quality of the cuisine. The pancakes were not as expected. Damage !
Sheer excellence, service was great, the food was immaculate and the atmosphere was transporting. I felt as if we were sitting in a quaint busy cafe near the river Siene and not a 5 minute drive from Upstate New York.
Absolutely amazing. Very interesting menu - nothing like the usual breakfast places we see around. Very scrumptious crepes!
We visited this restaurant on a Monday around 1pm. The restaurant was empty. We ordered a French onion soup, oeufs en meurette, bellecotte, tutti frutti and a latte. The latte was a little weak. They burned the cheese of the soup too much and I could taste the bitterness. The soup didnt have much onion amora. The poached eggs were very good. The 2 crepes were yummy too. Service was good and we had the whole restaurant ourselves.
I honestly expected more. The savoury crepe was okay and the sweet crepe was disappointing. The crepes itself was not up to par. The chocolate resembled spread butter that melted you barely see and taste it.
Went to Niagara for a day trip and purposefully came here for dinner. We had savoury crepes, the la parisienne and thalassa, and both were very good! Service was great and the cafe s ambience is cosy and makes you feel like you re dining in Paris. Would love to come here again when we visit Niagara next time!
Excellent food, great environment, and good suggestions from the waiters, although not cheap. We would come back for sure.
Mimosa, Bellecotte and a warm croissant. All top notch and would order again. The Bellecotte tasted fresh and earthy with the spinach and mushrooms. Light and savoury, great for the health conscious. Pricey but worth it for the experience.
The food was great and the waiter had a great sense of humour as well. I love the ambience of the cafe as the furnishings and music added to the dining experience. We also had the seasonal creme brulee, which was blueberry and lemon-flavoured, and Ill greatly recommend it!
Lovely place. Great ambiance and food
We had gone for brunch the food was really good, we had a Rocamadour and a Papillon and for drinks we had the chai latte and the cafe viennois. it was excellent. Our server Starr was very friendly and helpful. Also had a good rapport with the owner. The only challenge we had was the wait to get a table. However, we went on a long holiday weekend, so understandably it will be busy. All in all it was an amazing experience.
Best crepes
Hate to say it but my experience at Paris Crêpes Café was quite disappointing. Id heard a lot about this place, but it turned out to be overrated. The food was merely okay both the quality and quantity fell short, especially considering the prices. The indoor ambiance didnt help either it was darker than I would have liked, making the dining experience less enjoyable. However, what truly frustrated me was the tipping policy. The restaurant decided for themselves how much tip to include and automatically added it to the receipt without any prior notice. I find this practice inexcusable and not customer-friendly. I dont think I would recommend it to others.
Todays visit to the restaurant left me with mixed feelings. The food was satisfying, and the staff were friendly, which I appreciated. However, I couldnt overlook the overpriced menu and the confusion surrounding tipping. My rating for this experience would be three stars.
First thing I don t like is overpriced. I don t like is their bill have already including tips $32.54 but the waitress didn t remind me that and just gave me the payment machine. When I did my payment the machine default to 15% tips. Bad customer service
Great food and service! Highly recommend!
Mixed reviews. I liked the atmosphere, it gave French vibes. And when it came to my food, it came out great, but for my boyfriend when he asked for a medium rare steak he got well done. When it came to getting water, we were served one time then never again. Not the greatest experience, but I did like the taste and presentation of my food. My boyfriend on the other hand, he liked the presentation too, but overall cooking of the steak, not so much . Overall for the price, expected a little bit more of an elevated experience.
Beautiful little place, great cocktails and coffee and delicious food.
The crepes were pretty good! We got both savory & sweet to share. Service was good & the food came out pretty fast. It was a nice meal before hopping on the train back to Toronto!
As others have said, the service should be better especially considering the price of their food. Speaking of, its a bit of a tourist trap since their prices are inflated by at least 50%! As well, cafe drinks are not manually made yet are priced as such! (See pic) The crepes are good, though!
I had the pleasure of being served by the exceptional waitress Star during my recent visit to your establishment. Her name truly reflects her service she was an absolute star ! Star went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. Her attentiveness, warm personality, and knowledge of the menu were truly remarkable. She made excellent recommendations, and her timing was impeccable throughout the meal. Dining at your restaurant was made unforgettable, thanks to Stars outstanding service. I cant wait to return for another memorable meal there.
This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. Let me start out by saying I do not eat breakfast. This place is a quaint restaurant located about 10 minutes from Niagara and well worth the drive. Upon arriving, they were preparing crepes in the front prep area of the restaurant, so you can watch while waiting to be seated. Once seated, Payton, our server did a thorough job ensuring our every need was met, the order was accurate, and all while smiling and being super nice. We started out with the baguette (enough for 2+ people, and French press coffee. The jams were amazing as well as the baguette (As I am a bread guy). For the main meal, we had a huge crepe with strawberries, bananas and Nutella, along with eggs Maurette (eggs with diced Canadian bacon, mushroom, in a wine sauce). The food was amazing, as well as the ambience. I would highly suggest this place not be missed for breakfast
Fun French bistro place. Sweet crepes, savory crepes. Really traditional French soup where the croutons are not too soggy and just a little crunchy, but have soaked in so much onion flavor from the broth. Juice might be generic juice, but maybe next time I visit Ill have a coffee or a more specialized drink. Service was incredible. Jane is such an awesome waitress. Will have to remember this place for next time
Loved it! Great food and service! Its a hidden gem!
Loved everything from the welcoming service to the savory and delicious food, great wine selection and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
We got there for lunch only 20 minutes before they closed. They were so nice and accommodated us quickly! The food was excellent, the salad was fresh The seared tuna was amazing! We will look forward to going back someday
Jade was an amazing server! So kind and attentive giving great recommendations & service :) the crepes were amazing! We will definitely be back!
Delicious crepes for brunch. A must go to!
Delish!
Food was good but overpriced. Service was good too. Restaurant is way too dark, it was hard to read the menu.
We loved the food and the service. Very good place for lunch in Niagara Falls.
Very good and authentic crepes. Very good quality and very fast services. I really recommend it
So good! I loved the gluten free buckwheat crepes, and they even made a sweet one for me as well. The staff was super fun and friendly. They also handled a group of entitled individuals very well. I highly recommend. If we make it back to the area again, I will be thrilled to come back! Dietary restrictions: As someone who is gluten-free, this was fantastic!
Not recommended for families, the prices are ridiculous and you wont even get close to full. The atmosphere looked good when it opened, but is now showing its age. It wasnt clean either.
We were looking forward to having breakfast here, as my daughters friend had talked highly about it from her last visit. We were a party of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens--1 of them celebrating her birthday). The hostess (white blonde woman) told us it would be a 30-minute wait for a table of 5, and when we asked if it would be easier to split up the group into a table of 3 and a table of 2, she went from 0 to full-on aggressive, cutting us off, saying that they cant do that, thats the rule, thats how it is, that they have reservations, and the rest of the tables were for walk-ins. I was so confused because we...were...walk-ins. She also said something about having to pay altogether and I said if were at different tables, we could just pay by table, as though we are two different groups. She kept repeating that the non-reserved seats were for walk-ins---again, we were walk-ins (unless theres some other definition of walk-ins I dont know about). In a huff, she finally seated us, the adults at one table and the girls at another, mumbling to herself something about entitlement. She came off as a bit unhinged and with the place just having opened up about 15 minutes earlier, it was odd to see her suffering from an unusually high amount of stress, or maybe her behavior was a result of some personal crisis. Either way, we all felt extremely uncomfortable staying with the amount of aggression coming our way, so we hightailed it out of there. Too bad, b/c it actually smelled really good in there. We ended up at the Flying Saucer Restaurant, where we had such kind service and an amazing breakfast (including crepes!). Was very happy to end up on a high note after that needlessly aggressive and althogether baffling interaction.
Ive eaten crepes in Paris, and Quebec before but this meal was incredible and topped them all. This is a gem that should be hidden from no one. My wife and I only half jokingly offered to take the insanely cool person in charge home with us. Great prices and a fantastic time. If youre in the area its a must stop. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crepes were amazing. My wife was stoked she got savory crepes and then the girl in charge brought her the tuti fruitti crepe gf style and I now have the goal of getting her to look at me like she looked at that crepe.
Big crepes , good value, decent friendly service
Absolutely love Paris Crepes. I tried the French onion soup and a croissant. Both were excellent! Mt Sister had one of the savory crepes...also great, and the French press coffee.
Just ok
food taste good, just disappointed with our server.. Tone of her voice seems not willing to serve, I don t want to judge but observing how she talk to other customers she seems to be nice.
Cream of butternut squash soup was spectacular, Papillion crepe was incredible. Service was friendly and fast. Every dish I get here is better than the last, Id give them 17 stars if I could Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free options
I took my mom on the trip to Niagara falls in October of 2016. She was already very sick. We stopped by this cafe for brunch. I thought this was the last year my mom would still walk, so I tried my best to take her out as much as possible. What was special about this place is that our waitress really liked my mom and when I just mentioned that Im taking her on a trip because I dont know if she would be well enough next year, she said that the meal was on their cafe. It was not cheap... My mom was a trouper and survived for much longer, but we stopped our outings in 2020 since she was getting real weak. She just passed away in April of this year. Looking back to my photos, this is one of the sweetest memories I have. I really needed support at that time and that waitress made my day and many days after that day by her kind act.
Good little spot. Drinks are awesome. Server was great too he made a custom drink for us to try and it was delicious. Food was awesome.
Racist owner -Warning do not go there- DO NOT GO THERE, RACIST OWNER. The manager is an extremely rude racist, we came yesterday the restaurant was closed because he had decided to give his employees the day off, he told us to come tomorrow. So we came at 12 p.m. on Friday July 2, and were greeted miserably and in an extremely derogatory manner. We had come specially for this restaurant and the manager told us that we should have made a reservation, something which had not been mentioned the days before even though we had clearly mentioned that we had come on purpose for that. The manager said then decided to sit in the rain, at which point I understood that his racist attitude made me extremely uncomfortable. Very big disappointment. As a French person, I find it deplorable to be welcomed by a French restaurateur in Ontario in this way. By the way we did try to call twice nobody answered and the website doesnt even allow you to book.
Enjoyed the special menu at the Gamay Nouveau Evening. 5 course meal and live entertainment. A fabulous evening !
We heard about this place from a few different people and decided to go check it out. The food tasted exactly the same as when we were in France. We had the traditional ham and cheese crepes and it was so good ! Their creme brûlé was by far the best one Ive add; perfect caramel crust on top and very rich in taste. The place got busier as we were leaving but the service was fast and the staff were very welcoming. Definitely gonna come back here on our next trip to the falls. We might make it a tradition !
Crepes are great. Pretty expensive for portion. Clean washroom and facility. Awesome interior and exterior design. Patio available. Service was slow. No destination promotion fee. No credit card surcharge. Paid street and lot parking outside and nearby. Time-limited parking nearby.
Wow! We were so happy with our crepes. I had caramel crepes and my wife had goat cheese and walnut crepes. They were so delicious and gluten free too. I also ejoyed the french press coffee. This was nice little place and the service was great. Highly recommend!
If you are looking for a wonderful brunch experience, this is the place. The food is amazing, the French flair is awesome. You have to have the mimosa and French press coffee, it is the perfect pairing with the brunch menu. Thank you for this little hidden gem.
The best crepe I have had in Canada. Better than Quebec City. This is a fantastic French Bistro.
Visited on November 6th. Everything was great. Especially our server, think her name was Candice. Definitely worth a visit.
