Jasmin was AMAZING Food , service and Authentic Indian atmosphere !!! Great Vegan options. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. The main reason we came in was Vegan options. Okra was perfectly made. I like the T shirt Jasmin had on, but they don’t have for sale. If they had I would buy it 😊
I ordered chicken tikka for roti whole wheat and one mutton curry. I really disappointed the mutton and the chicken was not well cooked and the mutton was not fresh and it’s it was like a old meat and I really but the atmosphere was nice and the service was nice and this is what I order but please I’m not recommend this Food and I left everything on the table they not even give me a good discount after I told that the food was not good I’m so expensive. I ordered only three items.
The food was hot and tasty! I had the Biryani chicken rice bowl. My wife had the Mulligatawny soup and mango salad and was delighted. The portions were huge! Ruchi was attentive and friendly! Highly recommend trying the restaurant.
It’s okay!! Nothing so outstanding about this other than nicely decorated. Food aren’t that good, some have less meat and some you can literally smell the spice like it wasn’t mixed well. Restroom isn’t clean, i couldn’t even use it. Stuffs are nice though
Moksha catering is truly a 10/10. We recently had them cater our Hindu Baby shower. Jeremy (the owner) is an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very patient with us throughout the process of choosing our menu. They were also amazing to work with the day of, despite obstacles we encountered at the venue. Our family LOVED all of their food. Their chaat is SOOOOO GOOD! They had great customer service and their food was 10/10. I would highly recommend them for any event!
Great food, pleasant staff, and beautiful ambience! Glad we stumbled on this gem - the vegan menu had so many options that it was hard to choose. Decided on the honey garlic roti and the tiki chole chaat for appetizers and the yellow dal tadka for the entree. Everything was savory and DELICIOUS! Next time we come to Niagara Falls, this is a must stop.
My husband and I were looking for an authentic Indian place and kept smelling this every time we walked by. We decided to stop for dinner our last night in town. We sat on the patio where there was vibrant music playing and ample, comfortable seating. We were greeted by a welcoming young lady, Jasmine, who was thoughtful and accommodating during our entire meal. I will preface this by saying, we both LOVE Indian food and enjoy the spice that comes with it. We ordered the Veggie Delhi Momos, Paneer Tikka Rice Bowl and the Mushroom Tikka Masala. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A-M-A-Z-I-N-G… every last bite! Portions were large enough that we took half home and it was delicious the next day! Prices were very reasonable. Our bill was higher due to the beverages…. We also ordered some beverages (white sangria and cucumber mojito), both drinks were served with very fresh cut fruits (apple, orange, mint, cucumber, lime). We will DEFINITELY be back. Small note: If you’re in a hurry, this is not your place. This vibe is relaxed and meant to sit and stay and converse. Take your time and enjoy. Huge thank you to Jasmine!
Delicious food and wonderful service! Casual atmosphere. Our server, Ruchi was friendly and very helpful to walk us through the vegan menu and answer all our questions. We started with the Chaat and vegetable “corn dogs”. Both were a big hit with our two boys. Then we all enjoyed sharing the Moksha Dum Aloo Curry (bit spicy), the Paneer Makhni (boy’s favourite, sweet and creamy) and the Saag Tofu (bit spicy). Rice & Garlic Naan. All dishes were obviously made fresh with amazing flavour. Big portions for the family sharing plates. We will savour our leftovers tomorrow!
It is a great place for fine dining, great food loved the pani puri (serving style). Great friendly service by Piyush. Great value for money
Food was good and great ambience. The service was amazing and quick . Thanks to Ruchi who got us everything on time
Best menu. And Ruchi was so kind and helpful throughout the meal! My fav spot for Indian in Niagara Falls!
The food was disappointing. We had to return the non veg tandoori platter as the chicken was undercooked. In the veg platter mushrooms and paneer were not properly cooked. The food tasted old. In main course the dal makhani was not up to the mark. It was our first time here and we wouldn t be returning.
The food is so delicious and testy and customer service is nice . Our server was jaismin, she was really very good .
Im wondering if you guys have new ownership?? This used to be my favourite Indian restaurant EVER! Because of how good the saag paneer and chana masala WAS. I recently came here for the first time in a few years and the saag paneer quality has severely depleted. It is more comparable to other places now and doesnt stick out at all. The portion sizes have shrunk (not many pieces of paneer and tiny dish of curry). The menu has changed and they have new items, like chili chicken which wasnt great quality in terms of sauce and cut of chicken. Sadly Im not sure if I would bother returning. I always made sure when I visit NF that I came here even if it was just for take-out but now I am unsure.
I highly recommend this restaurant. Delicious food. Ruchi is very friendly
Jasmine gave us very great service. She was very polite and served us very nicely even when it was their closing time.
We eat here every time we come to visit Niagara Falls...about once a year. The food is always excellent. Piyush was very attentive to our needs. We will continue to go back!
Jaismin was amazing she explained all the different options and recommended different dishes She gave us great service. The food was fresh and prefect spice on the 2 star spice atmosphere is very comfortable and Homie and Definitely coming back
Food is awesome !! We had the chicken curry and butter chicken for the dinner for 2. Jasmin was our server and very helpful and extremely nice!!
Pleasant experience, Jasmine, who served us, was very patient in helping us understand the menu written in English, and attentive throughout the meal. The dishes are full of flavors, dishes and desserts. A beautiful place to revisit!
The Samosa chat was good to taste but samosas were oily, seemed like fried multiple times as they had soaked a lot of oil. The paneer mint was good (3/5) as it was very soft, the chutney could have been better. The daal makhni was show stopper (4/5), the garlic naan was a bit chewy than expected but eatable and good portion. The server was really helpful and ambience was good well lit. Thought the rice was a bit pricy. Overall good can visit once and try some non vegetarian food.
Jasmine was a terrific server. Food was fabulous
Sad sad and just sad! Totally bad experience and not that its my first time at Moksha. The food was soo spicy that they had to get it changed once, the table behind us had the same experience. Even after the replacement, the food was undercooked, ordered veg biriyani which was just full of chilly flakes. The restaurant only had 2 tables but service took 20mins for someome to take order and another 30-45 for the food. Totally disappointed and feels like the place is near its end now. FUNNIEST THING IS THEY CHARGE 16% GRATUITY FOR 3 people table. Utterly deserve bad reviews
The restaurant is very pleasant as is the service. And the food was fine. A word of caution though - if you order the all in dinner - the portion of curry is tiny. This option is really more a snack than a meal.
Thank you-Jasmine for your help in ordering the perfect meal- food was excellent-service excellent- highly recommend Parking: Fine off street parking
Great spot for some homemade Indian food. Would highly recommend if you re looking for some spice! Thanks for the great service, Jasmin!
Fantastic experience at this restaurant. We tried the Grand Thali and it was amazing, our family thoroughly enjoyed it. I ve never had a North Indian thali before, the best part was unlimited. Would recommend to anyone who wants a remarkable dining experience in Niagara Falls
Twinkle was very attentive and kind. We enjoyed the food and her service was awesome! We would come back again.
Our family of 4 had a great meal-we opted for the $85 dinner for 4 so we could sample a bunch of things including samosa, curries and gulab juman. Sahil was an attentive server. Nice for our late arrival Sat night to Niagara Falls.
The place looks nice and the service is good, however the food quality is not upto the prices. The quantities for the desert are very small and we ordered their Falooda which was 12 dollars and it had dry vermicelli in it instead of the soft milky Falooda Sev. Definitely need to improve on their food quality.
Delicious food and wonderful service! Casual atmosphere.
Happy to visit there... Good quality
Awesome Ambience and Good place to spend time with family. Jasmine and there fellow mets are welcomed us well ! Coming to food it s really awesome I have ordered Dal makani and it tasted like authentic Indian flavoured . Though food served bit late but worth waiting for the tasty food will come back again ! Thank you
The service by Jasmin was great!
Excellent service by Ruchi. Good was amazing specially Dal Makhani.
Great ambiance, Great food. Ms. Ruchi was an excellent host.
Best Indian food in Niagara Falls. The Pakoras are to die for! The service is impeccable. Will be back!
Moksha is a great spot for a casual night out. The food is always top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I love the outdoor seating in the summer.
Ive been coming to Moksha for years, and Im always impressed. The food is consistently excellent, and the service is always top-notch. Its my go-to Indian restaurant in Niagara Falls.
Wed spent 4 days in Niagara, staying centrally, searching for good value, tasty food without success (& getting ripped off for mediocre mulch). . until we found Moksha! Jasmine was really friendly and professional, with good knowledge of gluten free options. . And the food was excellent. Best meal we had in Niagara by a long chalk, and up to the standards of the CN tower restaurant. Would highly recommend. Also great value, 3 of us with drinks (including beer): mains, poppadoms, rice, naans and (discretionary) 20%tip, $80. Wish wed found you sooner! Many thanks N.B. Its difficult to understand some of the negative reviews based on our experience and perhaps makes one question their integrity / motive. Dietary restrictions: Brilliant knowledge of gluten free dietary requirements
Highly recommend Moksha Indian Bistro for a unique dining experience in Niagara Falls. The fireplace and modest ambiance make it cozy, while the vegan options cater to a variety of dietary needs.
Moksha Indian Bistro is my go-to in Niagara Falls! The innovative Indian fare and welcoming ambiance, complete with a fireplace, make it a must-visit. Plus, the vegan-friendly menu is a huge bonus!
If youre in Niagara Falls, don t miss Moksha Indian Bistro! Their contemporary Indian dishes are outstanding, and the all-you-can-eat option offers great value. Loved the patio seating too!
The food was delicious and the service by JASPREET was on top of the line.
I went to moksha for dinner with my family while eating we saw a mouse coming out of the kitchen which was disgusting I went up to the manager or who ever it was at the bar and told her about the mouse and I even told her if she thinks were lying she should see the camera the sad part of all was that she didnt care I went to the bathroom I was vomiting my husband was also vomiting the food made me feel sick it was my 4th time going to moksha I never thought I was ever going to see somthing like this. Ill never ever go there again and my bill was over 200.00 Id rather throw that money in garbage than give them service. GARBAGE
Good food but expensive.
Excellent place for vegetarians. The waiting times will be long, as in all Indian restaurants, but thats because everything is prepared from scratch. The food is reasonably priced, and quite tasty, even for those who dont connect with Indian food, there are still plenty of non-spicy dishes suitable for the general public. We ordered a type of business for 2 diners and received much more food than we could eat.
Pretty amazing food and place, with satisfying food quality and quantity. And the staff person Jasmin have gave us really good service. Must recommended.
This was our go to restaurant everytime we visited Niagara. Came here on my anniversary weekend. Ordered dumplings and the were way too oily. Ordered Panner amd it had plastic pieces inside it. Complained twice to the server. She was courteous and acknowledged the mistake. After this we were offered a free SWEET DISH to compensate, which we happily refused.
Great food beautiful restaurant. Food is so tasty. Our server Jasmin was excellent. Her service was best. Everyone should visit.
Parking: Friendly staff! Nice decor. Lots of yummy choices. Recommended dishes
Food tasted ok only and was overpriced. No offence but I wouldn t prefer this ever again.
From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was cozy and welcoming. The dishes were expertly prepared, offering fresh, flavorful ingredients that made each bite stand out. Specially Ruchi was exceptional attentive, courteous, and highly professional, ensuring top-notch service without being overbearing. The care and precision in both the food and service made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking delicious food and excellent hospitality!
The food is fresh and flavorful. Hands down some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten!!
Ordered from Uber and it took almost 2 hours for it to arrive. The delivery took 10 minutes. So the the restaurant took around an hour and 45 minutes to prepare a small order. Wouldve been 5 stars if it was based on the food alone.
Wonderful and very fresh food with great flavors. A pretty restaurant with nice background music. Great experience. Vegetarian options: Freshest paneer ever tasted. Also a full vegetarian and vegan menu. Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian great options
We were very happy to find out Moksha was across the street from our hotel. I ve had their food from the food truck before and it was amazing so we had to try them in the brick and mortar. It did not disappoint. We had the platter and the lamb biriyani. It was fabulous. Jasmin was our server and she was very nice and helpful. It was my husband s birthday and we made the best choice of restaurants.
Looking for a restaurant with reasonably fair prices for this incredible tourist hotspot, we ended up at Moksha Indian Bistro and were not disappointed! The menu offers a wide selection of curries. We ordered butter masala and chickpea dal, both of which we had often eaten at other Indian restaurants. The food was definitely on par, if not better! The experience was rounded off by the great service from Rucci and her team! Clear recommendation!
I recently dined at moksha restaurant and it was a disappointing experience overall. The food was underwhelming and didn t justify the high prices. The portion sizes were small, and the flavors were bland, lacking the depth and creativity I expected given the cost. Service was slow and inattentive, which only added to the frustration. For the price, I expected a much higher standard of both food and service. I won t be returning and wouldn t recommend it to others.moreover ,they are charging for service gratuity and its 16% its very high price so if you are looking for some good and tasty food just check ang other location.
The best Indian we have had in Canada! The food was totally delicious. The flavours were incredible and the presentation was very traditional. The service was rapid and friendly. A special thanks to Piyush, our lovely waiter. We also loved the Bombay Pilsner.
Thank you Piyush for kind welcome. We liked a food a lot
Push .nice service and food Vegetarian options: Kadhi paneer Food : 5/5 |
This place is a complete rip off . I would urge the owner to stop ripping off your customers. Adding a 16 percent gratuity without asking is a shame, especially with the low-quality food you serve. One of your servers even told me not to tip in cash because it goes straight to your pocket. This is unacceptable. Read your reviews and make changes. This is disgraceful. There is no option of zero stars unfortunately, otherwise you deserve that .
I visited today here food was awesome so tasty never tried this kind of food . Moreover, one of their jaismin was so good and friendly Just loved their food and service Will come back again very soon Thank you so much guys
Sahil the guy who was serving us was a great guy, we were treated so well, very convenient, also have a parking, 5 mins from Niagara Downtown,
Highly recommended restaurant! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! Food
The food is fantastic and Jasmine was a wonderful server. Thanks for a delicious meal. We re definitely coming back.
Worst Indian restaurant in Niagara Falls.
One of the best restaurants just around the Falls. Every food we ordered was fantastic!!!! Tried food at 3 different places, we kept thinking about this place all the time. I guess it set a benchmark for us. Their lime soda was out of the world. Parking: Very small parking lot, will be a hit or a miss to find one
Had a fantastic dining experience at Moksha! The Indian vegetarian options were exceptional, and the flavors were authentic. It s great to find such high-quality Indian food near Niagara Falls. Plus, they have halal food places as well, which is a huge plus for our family.
The food at Moksha is amazing! The Indian vegetarian dishes were so flavorful and well-prepared. It s also great to know they offer halal options. Definitely a top spot for Indian food near Niagara Falls!
The food was excellent! I am visiting Niagara Falls from Los Angeles, and the food here was a delight! Jasmine was such a great server and delivered all the dishes beautifully. I highly recommend getting the paneer tikka, honey garlic naan, rosemary kulcha, and anything! We are vegetarian and gluten-free and had no issues navigating the menu. I would recommend it as a stop if you are in the area; you ll be delighted with the food
The food and service was awesome. Delhi momos, Chelsea puri cones were so good. We also had paneer Tikka rice bowl, yellow lentil dhal and rice. Everything was well made. We will definitely come again
Best Restaurant Nice Services
Not worth it. They are too expensive for the taste of the food.
Nice food and good service from Twinkle. We are vegan and they have a great separate vegan menu. My wife especially loved the tofu tikka masala. Prices are reasonable.
It was great experience, the food was delicious, the services was 100%. Thank you Sahil for service.
Moksha Indian Bistro is a hidden gem among **vegetarian restaurants near Niagara Falls**. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and the ambiance was perfect for a family meal. Food
Very good food and service thanks Ruchi for suggesting all the good food
Moksha offers an outstanding dining experience! The food is bursting with authentic flavors, and the Paneer Tikka was especially delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the atmosphere warm and inviting. Highly recommend for anyone craving great Indian cuisine!
Seriously over rated. I got gratuity charged even for having toddlers with me (3 adults and 2 toddlers), unreasonable. Not a place I would recommend to anyone.
It s one of the best Indian restaurants in Niagara. Visited yesterday with family. We ordered samosa, moksha chicken curry and shahi paneer with garlic naan and tandoori roti every thing was superb in taste and portions only the samosas were below average I must say. The outer shell of the samosa was too hard. Mango shake was good but the glass in size is too small looking at the price. I will rate it like Food - excellent Snack- good Service- excellent Ambiance- good Overall it was a wonderful experience. I strongly recommend this place. Cheers Vegetarian options: Enough vegetarian options available.
Excellent food with perfect taste and correct spivces in food. Quality is very well maintained. Service given by Jasmine was excellent, she is an asset to the restaurant .
i would like to tell that the service and food are best and serve by miss ruchi . she is very Coprative and helpful in every dish for order
server didn t know about the complex menu prices. Cashier girl was rigid and rude. she understand the problem but tried to cheated in charing extra roti in bill. Owner understood the case and reversed the charges. overall experience was not good being a first time customer.
Dont waste your money on without spice Indian food they will charge you 8% gratuity even if you are 2 person waste of money and food is garbage.
Moksha used to be my most favourite restaurant in Niagara but this time I had a terrible experience. We ordered samosa chaat, karahi panner, tandoori rotis and veg biryani. Samosa chaat was okay, Karahi panner was bland and the quantity was nothing compared to the money they are charging. Coming to the main dish ,VEG BIRYANI - the table next to us sent back the biryani because it didnt taste good, the server took the biryani back to the kitchen and exactly after 2 mins he brought out our biryani, the biryani was smelling funny and the taste was horrible, it taste like there was some kind of meat in veg biryani. I have been to this restuarnt many time and have ordered their biryani alot of times so I knew something was wrong. We called the server and informed him about this and asked him to take it back and not charge us for briyani since we literally had just one bite. However, he said he can replace the biryani for us but cannot not charge us which didnt make sense. The manager came and assured us that he will replace the biryani and charge us if we dont like it. The new biryani was good, same as what we always get. Im just disappointed that they gave us the same biryani which was rejected by another table. They lost a customer because of this. Not coming back!!
Recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for authentic indian food
Great taste, clean restaurent. Good vibe and friendly staff! Quantity of food is generous and very very tasty. Loved the masala chai. Had few appetizers and everything was very tasty.
Excellent food and top notch and quick service. Ordered chicken biryani awesome taste and large quantity. Dal makhani was also yummy. A must visit place when you go to Niagara.
Beware! Horrible Experience! If you value your hard-earned money, stay far away from this place. Our dinner was an utter disaster: the food was barely cooked and completely tasteless. The first red flag was the discrepancy between the menu prices and what we were actually charged. To top it off, they slapped on a ridiculous 30% tax, including a so-called service gratuity of 16%. We were shocked and asked the owner for an explanation, only to be met with rudeness and indifference. He claimed it was all in the menu, but the fine print was nearly impossible to see. This is clearly a scam to milk more money out of unsuspecting customers. I ve never felt more ripped off in my life. This place is a disgrace, and I guarantee anyone who eats here once will never return. Avoid at all costs unless you want your day ruined and your wallet emptied.
We had the most terrible dining experience at Moksha Indian Bistro in Niagara Falls. The prices are outrageously high for the abysmal quality of the food they serve. I was expecting something decent for what I paid, but what I got was cold, flavorless, and utterly disappointing. Ive honestly had better meals from a microwave. The customer service was beyond awful. The staff acted like they couldnt be bothered with us. We waited forever just to get a menu, and when we finally placed our order, it took ages for the food to arrive. When I politely asked about the delay, the waiter rolled his eyes and walked away. Seriously, I felt like we were a nuisance rather than customers. The atmosphere was just as bad. The place was dark, dingy, and had an off-putting smell. It felt more like a rundown cafeteria than an Indian bistro. I cant believe they charge such high prices for such a miserable experience. I left feeling angry and completely ripped off. I wouldnt recommend Moksha Indian Bistro to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place is a disaster.
This place is a hidden gem in Niagara Falls! My family of four went for lunch and ordered food and drinks. My youngest son had a pineapple Lassi, which was a delicious treat. I had the tropical sangria, and it was a generous glass that had freshly cut fruit. My husband ordered the Bombay Brewing IPA which he enjoyed. We all shared the samosa chaat. It was plenty for four people and was very flavorful with just the right amount of spice. I also ordered the tandoori paneer, and it was excellent. My family ordered various curries with rice and Naan, and they enjoyed every dish. Our server, Ruchi, was very attentative and pleasant. The prices seemed fair for the amount and quality that we received.
Poor service, no water refill, asked for repeat beer never came. Naan were cold.
16% gratituty even for group of 4 people ?!! Wont recommend.. The food was super oily and not tasty.. Stay away.. We went to Swagat the next day and it was 100 times better.
Expensive!! Taste is not worth the price and 16% gratuity on top of that too. I won t recommend this place.
Everything is good and tasty
We are now regulars at Moksha..first visit was sometime in 2020..this is one of very few restaurants that provides consistent quality every time you visit. Their masala chhas, Moksha chicken curry, lamb Biryani and fresh lime soda are my personal favourites. Specifically for our most recent visit, Ruchi has been amazing in all departments :) a must visit place if you are looking for a quality Indian food in Niagara falls. I am surprised to see a rating of just 3.2. should be at least 4.3 in my opinion.
Good Indian food in Niagara Falls
The food here tasted good but the portions were too too small. We ordered peanut chaat which was around $10 and they served it in six shot glasses! There was hardly a spoon of peanut chaat in each glass and it was really disappointing. The size of the curries was too small as well compared to the price. Also, there was just one server working and serving 3-4 tables all alone which caused a delay in service.
There are less words to describe about how amazing this place is with the food they have to offer and a cherry on top is the service about how they treat their customers as soon as you are at the desk. Very friendly, positive and knowledgeable service provided to us by Piyush. A go to place added in my list for their Burnt garlic rice. Vegetarian options: Various options for vegan, vegetarian dishes and very well labelled.
Great service, excellent food served in a timely and attractive way.
Fantastic venue with delicious food! There are a plethora of vegan options! Ruchi was very informative and friendly, thank you! Vegetarian options: Vegan options: Tofu Tikala Masala, Baigan Bharta, Veggie Corn dogs are an amazing vegan appetizer too!
Thier momos were watery and had no taste Paani puri was too bad Food
Piyush is an amazing server! He was so friendly and knowledgeable! We are visiting Niagara and want to try as many different places as we can, but we are going to visit Moksah again- the food and service are amazing!!
I am not sure if the last owner sold this place, not at all recommend this place anymore to anyone. Absolutely zero taste and zero service. They even charge you more than the price mention on menu. When you ask for explanation, there server will say, I will refund you. It s not a matter of refund or few dollars but ethics. NO DRINKS WERE OFFERED TO ME, I am sure you are getting confused with another guest, I was there with my wife. Just for your knowledge no refund issued also. I am sure you are getting more complaint for the taste and service. I don t need a refund, better to work with kitchen and service staff. Wish you all the very best. Regards Parul
A fine dine in if you are a tourist in Niagara and looking for options and unsure where to go. We mostly had starters. Taste was awesome, portion size was reasonable, no wastage. We were attended by Ruchi, whose service was overall commendable. We will visit again if we are in Canada side of Niagara ..
Delicious food, great atmosphere. Service did the best they could on such a busy night. After attending Niagara Canadas International Film Festivals. Food : 5/5
Piyush customer service is great. He guided us so well about the good and stuff. He is best.
Absolutely loved the atmosphere, food and the service by Pius
Jasmine is very professional and pleasant. Excellent customer service. She managed whole floor by herself. The chef is excellent.
We were here on a Saturday evening in June. Not busy at all. Very good food. Kind staff. Laid back atmosphere, good duality, not fancy. Might be a bit spicy/seasoning heavy for some.
Literally the best Indian food I have had in years!!! I m so full and satisfied, perfect level of spice! If you re looking for a delicious meal with flavour check out Momsha! Food
Everything was great, but the gratuity part was off. It was written at the bottom that there is 16% gratuity no matter how big the party size. Either make it clear when client walks in or may be even give rebate to local clients based on their photo ID. Thanks. Food : 5/5
At around 11:35pm we went to eat and ordered chicken tikka starter and it was really bad as it smelled very weird and they had staff shortage and the food and service both are worse i would never prefer this one again entire restaurant was smelling..
Very great experience. Food is really amazing. Friendly staff. Must visit when in Niagara.
We had a great service from Piyush. He made sure to explain the offerings and follow up. Food was good.
Food was SO Flavorful!! We had the vindaloo and masala! It was GREAT! SERVER WAS SUPER NICE!! INTERIOR IS BEAUTIFUL ! ONLY ISSUE WAS IT WAS A WARM SUMMER DAY AND IT WAS A BIT WARM IN THE RESTAURANT, BUT OTHER THAN THAT OUTSTANDING! I BET THAT CHEF COULD BEAT BOBBY FLAY ANYDAY!!!!
Okay food, but after ordering a drink, the drink never arrived plus it was on the bill. They took it off but even after the not so quality and fine dining experience there was 18 % gratuity added to our bill. When we tried to lower the tip percentage they said its fixed and we cannot lower the tip also were threatened to call the cops on us if we didnt pay. This made me not tip at all, NEVER GO HERE.... IF THE OWNER EVER GOES OUT OF BUSINESS. HE OR SHE DESERVES IT
- Slow service - Forced tip (16%) on Taxed Bill, you cannot opt out. - last time here, lot of other indian restaurant. - Rude service Food : 1/5 |
5 stat for food but not happy for the service, as they could not serve food on time. We have waited half an hour for our side dish until we finish our main course.
Best Indian bistro in Niagara! Top notch customer experience from our server, Ruchi! She was attentive and helpful with a smile. Everything was delicious! Would definitely recommend !
Had a great night yesterday. Thanks to sahil for recommending special dishes, a very hard working boy. Love the food, appreciate the chef. Thanks moksha for a beautiful night . Food : 5/5
The vibe of the restaurant was good. We ordered Pani puri, Jeera Rice, Dal Takda, Dahi Papdi Chaat, Kulfi Falooda. Food was good. Service was great, Jasmin was friendly and quick with orders! Thank you!
Only one person is working so nobody will greet you at the restaurant and after sitting 15 minutes ge will come to you and just make excuses that nobody is here to serve so will take even more. Had to leave without eating after 20 minutes.
Just had their awesome Samosa and met the wonderful owners.
my dad brought my brother and i here for dinner. we had the lamb sikh kabob and chicken tikka masala with garlic nan. it was excellent!
I would rather sleep hungry
Bad food bad service, will not feed my dog as well
Food was decent and Piyush really helpful
Ive eaten at many Indian food restaurants across Canada and in Nepal and the quality and flavours at Moksha were superb. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Moksha Curry (their in-house recipe), chicken biryani, and garlic naan.
Food sucks. No flavour at all. They charge gratuities for flavourless food even there 2 people for dine in. Not recommended at all. Waste of your day and money.
We had lunch there, biriyani was dry, and the mix grill was good, and I ordered beer come after 20 minutes and come with mold floteing in it and I return it Asked for bill and bill come with beer price added to the bill and I asked to sever that I didnt have beer, he said you ordered it ,you have to pay. I said, You beer line is not clean. Thats why you have mold floteing in the beer its not hygiene, he bring me other beer, he said you ordered it you have pay ,I said ok make it to go and I pay , when I get my hotel and check there is mold floteing in the beer. They didnt care about your health there, I there the food is also old there. Be careful.
Pitush very good server. And funny too Made our dine in and our night fun. Food
Chicken momos, Chicken vindaloo, Butter roti was fine. Chicken biryani was not so good Price was 90$ for 4 people, expensive! I ve come here a few times, and I had a good experience. Food
Terrific food and great service from Jasmine. We had the pakoras and corn street dogs for starters followed by the saag paneer and the aloo gobi. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. We absolutely reccomend, and would happily dine here again. Vegetarian options: There were plenty of vegetarian options.
thank you piyush for grear service. awsome food awsome service.
Great service pitush thank you very much
Great food very nice decor and thank you piyush for hosting us.
I ordered 2 items from this restaurant for dinner. I got the Bhel Puri (at the recommendation of the server working that night) & the Soya Chaap on rice. Both items weren t good at all. The chaap was flavor-less but the rice & everything else in that bowl was pretty good. The bhel puri wasn t good either it contained way too many pomegranates which made it very sour & there wasn t any puris. I was looking forward to the Indian food but this was a huge disappointment. For reference, this is directly across the street from the Double Tree hotel. If you re here & want Indian food, I d recommend looking elsewhere or trying different items on the menu. Parking: Parking behind the restaurant & street parking on the side. No place to stop in front of the restaurant.
We really enjoy well-prepared food, but lately, two out of my last three orders for butter chicken have been disappointing. Theres been no consistency; tonight it tasted more like tomato sauce with no spices, whereas the previous time it was fantastic. Perhaps its time to try out some other options.
Went there on the weekend with family. Food was just okay. Washroom needs maintenance though, stinky and in a terrible condition.
Great n quick service by jaspreet. Love their delhi momos . Will go back again surely. Recommend this location.
The best Indian food I have ever had! We will be coming back. This restaurant is under rated. The prices were decent too.
Worst Restaurant in Niagara. Food taste was average. Price is high compared to the quantity. Automatically added tips in our bill without our consent. When asked about the tip the manager/owner showed careless attitude. If possible I would sue this fraud in the court. I hope someone teach them a lesson.
Absolutely delicious food & large portions, I highly recommend. I ordered for pick up, very nice staff. Next time well dine in. If you dont like spicy; they make it mild for you.
Very accommodating host and as far as I could see the only real vegan option in Niagara Falls. Huge selection for vegan food
We were a group of 9 for dinner. Ordered Biryani and Lamb kebabs Both were not made fresh. Kebabs were hard and Biryani you could tell was warmed up as part of rice was hard. Service was very slow and had to keep looking for the server.
Been ordering the chicken biryani for years. Grabbed Doordash, unable and equally unwilling to attempt to go out and pick up Door dash had no option to specify to the restaurant that while I wanted the whole Indian flavor, I only required very Caucasian level heat. I didnt bother to call to ask, I just wanted this plate. It arrived, I took five bites, and I began weeping, whether it was with the full fist of Indian spices and heat in my face or joy just to have this meal, I know not yet. But even though my lips are tingling, its still the best plate of biryani I have ever had, and I have achieved Moksha tonight
Nice looking place, but absolutely hated the food. You can t just toss everything in a some canned tomato puree and call it authentic Indian food. The naans were were stale and chicken had no flavour on the inside. Hated it!
They made me feel welcome
I was not one of those happy customers specially with food it was way more spicy and tasteless. I was barely able to get over my hunger.
Jasmin is a wonderful staff. We loved her service. She is so polite and food was great.
Chilly Reception and Lackluster Fare at Moksha Restaurant Rating: Review: My recent experience at Moksha restaurant fell short on multiple fronts. Despite high hopes, the food failed to impress, lacking both in flavor and freshness. The culinary offerings were a far cry from what one would expect from a dining establishment of this caliber. Adding insult to injury was the uncomfortable dining environment, with the heating system seemingly on the fritz or deliberately turned off, leaving patrons shivering in their winter jackets. This blatant disregard for customer comfort tainted the entire dining experience. Exiting the restaurant, I couldnt shake off the feeling of dissatisfaction, both with the meal and the chilly atmosphere. Regrettably, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend Moksha to others based on this disappointing visit.
Title: Disappointing Dining Experience at Moksha Restaurant Rating: Review: My recent visit to Moksha restaurant left much to be desired. Not only was the food subpar, lacking both taste and aroma, but it also came with a hefty price tag that did not reflect the quality of the fare. To add insult to injury, the establishment had the audacity to include an automatic gratuity charge without consulting us, leaving a sour taste in our mouths. Such practices are inexcusable and only serve to further sour an already disappointing experience. I left Moksha feeling not only dissatisfied with the meal but also frustrated by the lack of transparency and consideration for patrons. Needless to say, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this establishment to others.
Excellent food and excellent service by Jasmine! Must visit!! Food
Jasmine was the person who was taking care of us and she really gave in wonderful experience at the time we had lunch at this restaurant, she severe the food right on time and took care of all of our requests ASAP and as exactly as we asked
It was a mindblowing experience!! I ordered their kadhai paneer, garlic naan and butter naan, and it was THE BEST. Their naan was soo soft, easy to break, nd I loved the taste of butter on it. One could litrally taste the butter on it. Their kadhai paneers gravy was sooo creamy, the paneer was soft and delicious! I asked them to make it a bit spicy but it still couldnt match my level of spiciness, so I asked them to mk it more spicy and the chef litrally made it spicy using red and green chillies!! Hahhhhh I mean mostly every restaurant in Toronto just put some chilly powder which makes ur throat burn, but here at Moksha, the chef litrally took the efforts to make it deliciously spicy. I mean full marks for that mahn! The staff was so good and friendly, ambiance was good!! Overall as I said it was mindblowing!!
Food is worse and Management is the worst here! Owner is extremely rude and doesnt care about anything but money. My opinion for this restaurant could not be more lower!! Food : 1/5
Worst service ever. We went there with my family and friends and ordered 4 curries( 2 daal makhani, 2 butter paneer masala) and five naans, while we were eating we gave order for 4 more naans and it took them 15 minutes after reminding them, waitress went inside came back in next 4-5 min and said it will take 10 more minutes. We had curries on our plates but we were not able to eat because they took 30 something minutes to get another batch of naans and after half an hour wait the naans we got were raw. After we were done eating we had some paneer curry left so we asked for to go container, which they do not carry. Food was also average. Very disappointed
Food was amazing . Especially Momos Amritsari fish and Karahi Panneer
WAHIYAT hotel in the entire Niagara falls area. It deserves 0 as a rating. Go if you want to get diarrhea and vomiting. I visited here on Christmas eve, since we were very hungry and there was lot of crowd and traffic so I didnt get a chance to read reviews and just went in. Inspite of so much of crowd and traffic in the same lane the restaurant was completely empty (this was a red flag but still we did not give much of thought because as i said we were hungry) We first ordered Masala Papad, Amritsari fish pakoda and a Pop soda. The papads were absolutely cold, I was clear that this was not at all fresh and the masala severed with the papad was cold and was not at all fresh. The Amritsari fish was so dark it appeared to be re-fried. Did not gave much of though and we ate it. We got the judgement that food here is not great so we preferred to keep main course light so we ordered Chana masala and rotis. The server didnt ask about the spice level and made it so so spicy that we couldnt have it, later I realised they had added the red chilies later as a seasoning which was never asked to do so. We were literally struggling with our stomach after having the food here. Finally the bill came in as 76$ for these stale items with 16% as a gratuity added in the bill just for 2 people. Upon asking the server says we add gratuity to all the bills which doesnt makes any sense because there is no rule as such, but they have made their own rule book in Niagara region. So stay away from this restaurant because these guys are looting people by overcharging and providing the stale food.
best indian food in niagara falls. we always eat here when we come. the momos were the best i have ever eaten. our server jaismin was very friendly
We went here to have homely food, awesome food and excellent service by Rupesh. would go back soon!!!!!!
Amazing food and good staff
Awesome food!! As well as a friendly staff..
Tandoori roti and chicken curry was best. Loved it!! Must visit once in a lifetime who ever is a fan of indian cuisine. One of the best restaurant in Niagara falls.
Super great. Definitely going for a next time. A good place for couples and friends going.
Service was osm Every thing was very good , just like a wow I suggest everyone to visit there Food : 5/5
I love it . I vist many time when am around it
Worst food and hospitality!! Owner literally said If u don t like my food, door is that way Food
Service is not necessarily bad, but it reflects on the absence of ingredients like lemon. Why so broke? The washroom was dirty and smelly and did not have signs for men and women. I was about to invite the Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, but the food was goodly average. However, if Mogambo cant afford it, then it is expensive. Moksha should achieve moksha(salvation) for real. Please get a better employee and cook cause they took so much time. I could run a 10-kilometer marathon twice with no breaks. But both deforestation in amazon does not correlate with North Korea.
Food is very good. Limited options but taste is very good.
The Food is great and spicy. Loved it. We are regular visitors and we are amazed by their quality of food they never disappoint and tastes same . Love this place. Please continue maintain same taste. A very good find .
Temperature too cold inside the dining room food getting cold fast.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of mouthwatering options available Food
Everything was great - great veg food options and amazing service however it was very cold I guess due to renovation so we were freezing
First of all very disappointed with the service. Food quality also not so good. Beer they served were expired. Delay the order. Cleaning of the place also not so good.
It s been 5 years and it s always been the same every time I visited Moksha with my friends and family. Chef is really talented and maintains the true tastes of Indian Cuisines. Been to all good Indian restaurants in Niagara but this always remains a must on my list every-time.
Sad to say . I love them But customer service at it s worst ! Called to deal with the food issue ( manger called) and they played it off on skip ! Sorry but I m out !!!
Not good food as well as service... Not at all worth...
Best place to visit. Delicious food, better service, quantity was way better than any other place. This place is underrated, people go to other places coz its nearby the clifton hill..but this place is worth the walk of 8 mins. Had a wonderful dinner
There is no point of having an atmosphere when the food is disguisting..I ordered lamb bhiryani yesterday and it was no where close to a bhiryani.. it tasted pathetic and the lamb was uncooked and the bhiryani didn t taste like bhiryani atall. You need to change your chefs !! It was super disguisting and not atall tasty.. had to throw away the food unfortunately.. ty for wasting my money
Ordered 2 plates of veg Momos paid 28$ for take out . They packed 12 Momos in one box and it doesn t even look like momos not matched the taste. Price is high if you compare the quality and taste . Will never try again.
Ambiance and food is driving the name down. I was attracted to the place with name and food pics online. It just broke the expectations. After everything 16% gratuity in a 3 person table . made a joke. Take money.. no issues at least there should be courtesy for standard and service in a place like Niagara.
Worst food ever had
Every single thing was worst
Food is Not Good
Wonderful dinner with the family, we enjoyed everything and ordered family style. I highly recommend. Also for myself was very happy with the gluten free menu. Vegetarian options: There was vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options Kid-friendliness: Kids enjoyed the food and staff was very friendly with them
Moksha hasnt disappointed in last few visits. Food is packed with flavors and music choice is superb. Parking: Located at the backside of the restaurant
Forced tip charges. Overpriced.
The food was very stale and had a bad smell to it. The paneer didn t taste like paneer and instead tasted like plastic
The food was very stale and didn t taste like food. It tasted like plastic. And the food had a very bad smell to it and they are very overpriced. 4 drinks and two appetizer was $90
Food was very bed service very poor i ordered daal makhni and shaai paneer both are very bad only i like paani must try paani. Bad experience.
All the dishes we ordered had very odd smell. The meat was stale and smelt funky.
EXTREMELY UNHAPPY EXPERIENCE , OVERPRICED and most funny is their GRATUITY/tip style . Tasteless , not fresh, Artificial flavour curry, Unhealthy food. Will never go back and ll never recommend anyone. It s not worth. Not at all
Please don t ever come to this place . We ordered Tandoori Platter with Fish Pakora and I can tell you, the food was disgusting .. we didn t eat at all , paid them full and called the Chef to come out from Kitchen but he didn t show up as he was hiding . So don t waste your money .. garbage .
Very stale food that seems to be overcooked or being served from leftover food from prepared hours earlier. Really disappointed. Asked to talk to the cook and he refused to come out to talk to us. Pathetic customer service.
Not sure what the low reviews are for- the food was wonderful! The staff was also super friendly and helpful - our waiter was almost singlehandedly running front of house and managed to take the time to be welcoming and explained anything we asked. The food was not too spicy and the garlic naan was so flavorful! Will definitely be coming back for our next trip to The Falls. :)
One of the best Indian restaurants in Niagara. Highly recommend.
Was there this Summer! Horrible food and horrible service! Ordered a soup ...was served in a tea cup!!!??? Like seriously ???? Ordered a meat platter... meat was cold and almost rotten! Service was soooo delayed... Finally... I complained? The staff member started to pick a fist fight with me ..yelled at me with F word... threatened me. Ended up calling cops and ministry of health!!! This place used to be so good.. looks like new owners...so sad... if you like to enjoy ur trip...love ur family and love ur life!?Never go there!!!!
Very tasty food.
Their quantity of food is great
Ive had Moksha a few times now, Tried their catering for weddings and have dined in. Both have been wonderful experiences! Very kind and attentive staff, great service and delicious food. Would recommend having them cater events
Menu prices DO NOT match what s on the final bill. We were charged $3-5 more per plate than what s on their menu - and we re told those menus are out of date . Very unfortunate considering the food is quite good. A disappointing end to our meal.
Lovely cosy little restaurant with a big curry choice was just the ticket on a cold wet November night and Moksha did not disappoint! Their very reasonable prices and their wide choice of dishes presented me with many options but I went with my old favorite of a Chicken Tikka Masala and it was excellent . Presentation was amazing with a good serving of Rice, a nice bowl of curry, a side of spicy vegetable and a Popudum artfully shaped like a swan! The curry was very tasty and although only a medium spice level I enjoyed the thick creamy sauce along with a Garlic Naan. This was a very very good curry and I highly recommend a visit to Moksha. I will be back for sure! Vegetarian options: Many of their dishes are veggie
Amazing, excellent food and atmosphere. Service was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant. It should be a destination if going to Niagara Falls.
We ordered their chef special Delhi Momos and they were love flavoured and just soo Good, must order if you visit.
16% gratuity for two people? Even without asking or displaying somewhere? It was just one person on shift who didn t even serve well to deserve this gratuity. Not worth the price. Never visiting again. Don t waste your money here.
