They took 1 hour to prepare 3 fried eggs! What a joke! Poor menu, bad service, average quality. The place is cash only probably for tax reasons. All the nearby breakfast places offer better experience. Avoid if you can!

By far. The best breakfast place. Felix the owner is very welcoming and makes fresh delicious food. I want to eat breakfast there every day now.

Overall it was interesting. We came here because of the reviews. Breakfast was good for the price. Pizza was alright, not fresh obviously it was frozen as i saw them pull the plastic off and place it in the oven, no big deal still fine. Service was slow. Do not get the tiramisu it was hard as a rock, completely frozen. Seems like a one off due to the reviews but still wouldn t go back.

A loving/family style restaurant with great service. The owner is so friendly and an amazing chef as well. We had breakfast and you could taste the fresh ingredients. The food was excellent and so was the coffee/expresso. Its a bit off the Niagra strip but very well worth it!

Great place to check out on our trip to Niagara, we dropped by for breakfast, the owner himself is so lovely he was a delight to interact with, he is 80 and you can see pictures of him on the walls from when he was younger. The oranges were from his garden, the rest of the staff are also so lovely. There is also parking in the back of the restaurant.

If you like to play waiting simulator, come dine here. This was the worst restaurant experience I ve had in a while. Waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken, and another 55 minutes for the food to arrive. When the food arrived one order was wrong(a sandwich) so we removed and cancelled it. The pizza was so terrible quality/taste wise that i know a toddler can make something better than that. Aesthetics is the only thing this place has going for it.

Wasted an hour of my life to get my order wrong and not eat at all, so they get a 1 because I can t give 0. The 4.8 rating is the reason I even showed up and I m having a real hard time believing these are not paid reviews. We also ordered a beer that showed up 45 minutes after ordering it and too the staff a solid 20 minutes to give us menus and take our order. I m not the person to leave review but the trust must be told, I was lied to!

The kitchen is open so you can see as the owners prepare your food. The food was delicious. The only down side is that the same person is doing the cooking and the waiting so it takes longer than usual.

Small restaurant where the atmosphere is wonderful, the food is very delicious and the price is affordable. The chef is very welcoming. I will return there 1000% I highly recommend Dietary restrictions: I dont eat pork and they replaced it with very tasty potatoes and onions.

High expectations based on reviews. Went in for breakfast with a group of 7. It was really bad. Service and eggs. Garlic bread was really dry/hard too. Cash only but ATM not working. Wifes eggs cold and had char (black) stuff from the flat top or pan they cooked it in. Chef (owner?) was nice though but damn 4.9 rating ?

We had lunch here. Inside reminds me of oldschool cafe with bricked walls which I enjoy. Service was friendly but slow. I guess it s just a real laid back restaurant. The food was great and has a home made taste to it which we loved. My son really liked the home made salami and i offered to buy more on the side. The waitress, however, cut a bunch of extra pieces for him which was a nice touch! She also gave us a complimentary potato side wish. It s always nice to see restaurants treat patrons like honoured guests like this! It always leaves a lasting impression. My only negative feed back is to wash the glassware better. All our glasses for drinks had lip marks still on it which was off putting! But despite that the tastey home made food trumped it! Would return again when vacationing here.

Cheerful and familiar atmosphere, excellent food (the only coffee up to Italian standards) and plentiful, Feliciano is a friendly person who loves his job and makes his guests feel at home, with many pleasant anecdotes to tell.

Very good. Owner is a nice gentleman. Food is great , priced reasonably. Atmosphere is great. Would be nice to have waitresses that speak fluent English.

If I could give this restaurant a lower rating, I would. We waited 55 minutes for a small pizza and a sandwich, which is completely unreasonable for such simple dishes. The pizza tasted worse than a frozen pizza roll, and the sandwich was nothing special either. Other tables around us were also experiencing long waits and issues with their orders. We noticed one table waited over 20 minutes just to receive a menu, and another table had their order messed up. This suggests our experience wasnt just a one-off bad day. I find it baffling that this restaurant has a 4.8-star rating on Google, as my experience was one of the worst Ive had dining out. Unless you have a lot of time to spare and low expectations for your meal, I wouldnt recommend this place.

Solo chef, hostess and dishwasher, whew! She made us the most delish breakfast. Poached eggs on arugula, tomato, cuc salad, beautifully presented with roasted garlic schmear with grated cheese on rustic bread as a side. Crispy, tender waffles with again, artfully presented, peaches and oranges. Perfect espresso and americano with amaretto cookies rounded off the very reasonably priced meal.

If youve visited Niagara falls and not been here then I must say, you missed an experience! The food, the atmosphere, the hospitality is out of this world. Truly the best way to end our vacation to Niagara Falls. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was so cool, but the best part was talking to the owner. He was so kind and we genuinely enjoyed his conversation and learning where he came from in Italy. Just an amazing experience all together. They also own the restaurant right next door called Napoli Ristorante Pizzeria . Everything was homemade, fresh, & delicious. Also, the BEST espresso martini I have ever had & I ve had many. Both of these restaurants are a MUST try. We went to a few other restaurants in the area and this by far beat any other experience we had. We would come back simply for these 2 restaurants.

Casa Contadina definitely met and exceeded my family s expectations. The atmosphere and service alone is welcoming and warm. The food was 5 stars. I personally recommend the Cappuccino and the Margherita Pizza. Overall amazing experience.

Typical Italian restaurant, traditional cuisine made with love. The dishes are generous and good. The only downside to one of the two less successful canolis is the risk of homemade.

First time here, and what a gem of a place. We were leaving niagara after a nice weekend and wanted to have a quick breakfast on our way back home. The minute we arrived, we were greeted by the owner (Felix) with some laughs and warmth. You can really tell when someone has a passion for their food and service. Once in a while, we would catch the owner singing in the back, which was so delightful. We had a simple breakfast, and it hit the spot. The staff was lovely, and he took the time to engage with every patron he had, adding to the experience. We will definitely be coming back here time and time again. Thank you

This old shop is perfect for relaxing and enjoying every detail. The boss treats new and old customers like home There is constant laughter in the store Every plate of food is meticulously prepared, yet it surprises you in an unexpected way.

They are friendly and the food is perfect for brunch. I think this is the best restaurant in this area. Kid-friendliness: My two daughters loved this place because the owner was very kind and fun. He was singing with a happy voice.

Chef was rude to his staff who could barely speak English. The breakfast was presented horribly and when we declined to eat mashed potatoes with a fork and what was told was strips of bacon we were treated rudely and told to leave ! There is also a very small sign that says cash only

We are Spanish and we happened to walk into the bar for coffee, and it was wonderful to find a piece of authentic Italy in Canada. The owner was very friendly and the breakfast was very good and at a good price. We liked it a lot and we returned the next day. I recommend it!

The food is not tasty. Never take pizza, it is not pizza, and has nothing in common with Italian pizza. Its warmed up, yesterdays and frozen. The coffee is disgusting, the breakfasts are greasy, the poached egg was a hard-boiled egg

Words dont do justice to the quality of the food, and the warm hospitality that we experienced! We started with two cappuccinos, which tasted even better than they looked, and came with a crisp little cookie. Next, we shared a Panino Contadina made of homemade prosciutto, capicola & salami, and some pickled veggies, and a Mamma Panino made of homemade sausage, perfectly caramelized onions & bell peppers. They each came with a side of tomato, cucumber, and either a slice of homemade prosciutto or salami. The owner sent an extra sausage for us on the side. Everything was bursting with flavor! So we had two more cappuccinos and 2 cannolis which had a bright burst of lemon zest in the filling. We loved it so much, we returned the next day! Tip: Its cash only, theres an ATM onsite but on a busy weekend it may run out of cash.

Amazing food - fresh ingredients, prepared from scratch, tastes like something youd expect from an Italian countryside village. I understand at least some of the meats are from the local farmers market. Owner and all staff are very friendly. Treated us like a guest in their own home. The atmosphere is very warm and rustic - everywhere you look has something else neat to gaze at. We found this place for a late brunch and loved it so much we came back the next day. This place is certainly a hidden gem. Would definitely recommend! Its cash only but there is an ATM on site. You dont need much, most dishes are around $10-15.

We came here for our post wedding lunch to celebrate. Best lasagna I have had in Canada. Food is authentic and portioned generously. Feliciano and his staff were some of the most pleasant hosts I have encountered in a while. Definitely worth the visit.

I have bad experiences when it comes to any food in Niagara. So im always on the fence. But wow mind blown at the audience i got from the owner. I felt right at home. The food was amazing so fresh. The server, didnt catch his name but from nepal. So kind, attentive. And makes the best cappuccino i have ever had! Think heavy endless froth. Its just two people running this small place but ahh im out of words at this point. The bacon is not the store boguth bacon thin strips you are thinking about. Think thick cuts properly seasoned no need to add salt to anything. Wish they had a location in toronto. I want to come back soon. Kid-friendliness: The owner makes every child feel at home. Some children walk into the kitchen to hand him dirty plates.

Feliciano was amazing! He truly loves what he does and he as evidenced by his food. I went for lunch and he recommended the lagaña which was excellent. I returned for dinner after touring the falls. It looked like they were closing but he welcomed me in as an old friend and I had some amazing appetizers and played soft jazz as he cooked my choice of pasta to go with his fabulous bolognese sauce and his homemade tiramisu was the best I ever had. Before leaving town I returned for breakfast and had some of his homemade pear preserves. I wish his restaurant was by my home I would go there weekly to try his specials. He was the highlight of my trip to Niagara Falls! You won t be disappointed

Absolutely charming little spot with phenomenal pasta and pizza. Everything is made by hand. You might have to wait a little bit for everything to be made fresh but its totally worth it!

Came for a coffee and got wonderful service, including lemon water and cookies while we waited. Wish we were hungry because the food sounded fabulous Cash only but has an ATM on site.

Absolutely amazing!! We had the honour of being spoiled by Felix for breakfast this morning after our short stay in Niagara. Weve never been so well looked after in a cafe nor eaten such delicious, fresh food. Highly recommend! Wish we could take Felix home with us.

Felix was preparing for a large private lunch but was still very welcoming to me stopping in for a coffee and sandwich. He promised the best sandwich Id ever had and he delivered. Avoid the overpriced Tims and Starbucks and stop in here, you wont be disappointed.

Beautiful breakfast presentation. Fresh, crisp greens, cucumber, tomato, and melon. Savoury eggs, garlic potatoes and bread, artisanal meats. Refreshing lemon infused water. Real cappuccino that makes you feel like you re in Italy. All for an incredibly affordable price. Cash only, but you should only need about $20 a person for the whole experience.

Absolutely wonderful Italian cafe with some of the best espresso I ve ever had! The owner and the waiters are very friendly, the food is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is laid back. It s almost like being transported to Europe! This place is a must visit!

We enjoyed the breakfast (generous servings) and bonus stuff like his house made prosciutto, Feliciano s amazing hospitality who made every effort to make our baby feel at ease. It was like stepping into an Italian grandfather s dining room. We got the vibe he s doing this as a hobby which is awesome.

We were going to a different place before, but it was closed because of holiday. This was a gem of a find and really loved my experience here. We came early so they were able to make our eggs in a special way. Even the procuitto and bacon were homemade! The host was very warm and welcoming. He explained that the name of the restaurant means farmhouse and its truly reflected in the food. The decor is lively with lots of historical photos on the walls. Would come back. Pro tip: cash only. Food was amazing- everything is cooked in house, including sausage, salami, pickled eggplant, etc. First restaurant I ve gone to that serves REAL food, and it was delicious. I had the Giovani Panini my mom had the Contadina with sausage on the side; both smelled & tasted great. Coffees were great too, tried the cappuccino and espresso, smell and taste was amazing. The tiramisu was super creamy and cold (great for the weather). The chef/owner is super friendly and funny, and was very attentive with service. Super great to talk to :) Mom and I loved him, will definitely be visiting again. Definitely recommend you visit whenever in the area!! The place to have breakfast in the Niagara Falls area. Great service and better food. Family business, Owner and Chef Feliziano prepares all cured meats used in the food preparation. The best prosciutto, dry salami, bacon and Italian sausage that you will have. Well priced for the amount of food you get. Felix always put something extra on your plate for free. Highly recommend !

This was a fantastic stop for us! Absolutely delicious, freshly prepared and authentic food. We had a delicious (and cheap!) breakfast followed by the recommend tiramisu and cappuccino. Best ever!!! The best restaurant I visited in Niagara Falls. The restaurant is very cozy, and the staff is very friendly and hospitable. All food is home made and delicious . Good for breakfast. Cash only though

Breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced for the quality. The owner/chef is incredibly friendly and chatted with us over the counter while cooking. Definitely recommend!

Breakfast was excellent, relaxing environment, and family owned. Recommend the homemade tiramisu with a cappuccino or espresso! Cash only but theres an ATM inside and they also take USD and adjust price accordingly.

Casa Contadina is a great place to start the day with breakfast, a quick bite for lunch or just break up your day for a cappuccino and a cannoli or some tiramisu. Feliciano was so welcoming and a genuine pleasure to spend time with. You cant go wrong here. Grazie, Feliciano!!

My breakfast before leaving back home and the best decision ever. Great food and good service. Everything was so delicious. The breakfast platter was the perfect size and the garlic bread was amazing. This restaurant accepts only cash. Owner was extremely flexible with us providing a mixture of Canadian and US Dollars.

Im not going to lie to you.. Im a americano dude... before I go to ANY vacation.. I search for the coffee spots first... hence why I didnt really like going to niagara falls.. I believed all they had was Tim Hornswaggle and starbuccanneers... but I came across this spot... ON OUR LAST DAY... this place... takes back to ... knob hills farms.. takes me back where my mother would buy these Milano lady fingers by the BULK!!!! the best americano Ive had in a LONG TIME!!! Gives my follicles a jitter jolt anybody would need if they had children from ALL AGES!!! and the pizza!!!! MY GOSH THE ALMOND COOKIES!!! THE BISCOTTIS!!! it tickles me in my pants!!! The atmosphere it self takes me to lil Italy!!! With a don and dinette running the place!! Happy people all the time!!!

Nice people, but the service could not be any slower due to being under staffed. Most of breakfast eggs were cold as it took more than 75 mins to be served, even almost missed checkout time! Unfortunately got tricked by the unusual high rating of this place.

They are nice people but super slow. It took them more than hour to bring our breakfast (6 people). Eggs were too cold by the time they serve it. I think their friends and family gave them 5 star. We made a mistake going there, it is cash only! They have an ATM machine which charged you extra 3$! Overall an awful experience

OMG I just returned home .. near Boston MA.. And I went to see the water falls.. But I wanted Italian food.. so I went looking .. I found this gem.. Now I come home and all I am doing is talking about this restaurant.. The falls are 2nd... NOW I thank God I came across the beautiful family loving acceptance from the start... restaurant The love that was given.. I cant thank enough. I am so beat and tired from vacation.. but I cant stop thinking about my time there.. I cant say how great it was enough. The food was so good so yummy so homemade.. yes you wait.. but.. thats fresh food.. getting it from the freezer.. its fast.. the love he put in to making our lunch.. was incredible. It was made and cooked then ..... The entertainment of him cooking was wicked awesome.. ( its an open kitchen) was so the best .. Fresh french fries.. ( yes someone I was with wanted fries at an Italian restaurant.. but .. he went and peeled potatoes. Made pork cutlets pasta .. homeade garlic bread.. sausage sandwich.. They was so yummy ... WOW good people are still here in the crazy world.. Nothing but Love to the beautiful family restaurant... I will be back .. ASAP . Ps. I also got to meet the nephews Beautiful boys.. the love was just beautiful to watch.. family is everything. This is a very hard working family.. thank u my lord I got a piece of this acceptance from some beautiful people..

A simple yet amazing breakfast. Meditarean and italian flavors. Fresh, tasty and just enough. It is definitely the kind of place youll go to on a daily basis when near your house. The chef is very welcoming, the staff very polite, and the kitchen is well cleaned and organized.

This place is AMAZING, as an Italian I felt like home in Niagara falls. The food is spectacular, the people are amazing, everythings perfect. Btw, dont listen to the 2 stars comment (the guy/girl is Mahsa M.), clearly thats the type of person that would give 5 stars to a McDonalds, and call it The most amazing experience. The owner Feliciano for sure will make you smile. I highly recommend this place!

The owner is adorable, he did everything by himself: cure meat and grow herbs. You should definitely try his prosciutto. They didnt accept credit cards, though theres an ATM inside the restaurant.

What an amazing experience ! I had a older Italian guy who was my server and the cook ... I was extremely impressed the home made salami and prosicutto was to die for and the sandwich I ordered was amazing they even had grappa and it was to die for

Chef Feliciano will welcome you into his restaurant and into his heart. A touch of old world Italian charm with truly authentic Italian cuisine just like nonna use to make. If you havent been here, you need to visit. Bravo to this hardworking, talented and genuine Italian cook. He does it all. Sous Chef Enza is very welcoming and hospitable. Everything is homemade and tastes fresh and flavorful. Bon appetit!

Felix is The MAN!! Friendly, warm vibe every time we went. House-made prosciutto, venison sausage, lamb, marinated eggplant and bread, all fantastic. Coffee is rock solid. Hidden gem.
