Casa Mia Ristorante in Niagara Falls

Went in on Friday at 2:25 and we were told they were opening at 5. The online page said open Just wanted a glass of wine at the bar. Not very welcoming

This was one of, if not my Partner & I s favorite restaurants of all time! Unfortunately this experience was lackluster, we ordered the bruschetta and it was more akin to mini-pizzas in quality, as it was marinara with melted cheese and no arugula. I had ordered the veal parmigiana, the rigatoni was delicious but the veal was tough and a little on the cold side. Our server was very attentive to begin with, but after our appetizer we were forgotten about. We were not checked in on and it took a very long time of us waiting silently with no food to get our bill. The young lady who was bussing was more attentive than our server. We used to frequent the Wednesday date night special, but after this drop in quality & service we will be hesitant to return.

We went there for my birthday we got free wine cheese, meat and bread the place was empty She said we just opened and they are firing up the grills 20 min later we ordered food was fantastic Drink where great We tipped the lady at least 50$ didnt even thank us and we went there at 5 left at 7 extremely slow service we spent over 300$ Would not go back

Congratulations indeed! The food is very good, the atmosphere is romantic and the waitress is kind and friendly. We also happened upon it by chance on Wednesday, the day on which they have a very nice menu for couples where the price is total and you can get two starters, two main courses and two desserts. The shrimp pasta was exceptional. Must try!

BEST restaurant in Niagara Falls area! The oysters were succulent and the sauce was superb! The rigatoni pomodoro was a show STOPPER and eat more!!!! We took an additional servicing back home And it tasted perfect even the next day!!! The antipasto di mare was succulent and divine to the taste buds. Cheese cake with strawberries for dessert! A WOW!!! Go go to this home family restaurant Today! You will agree It s the best Italian food anywhere!

Went there on our anniversary and it was date night. We were served with a smile and we were given a lot of attention. We ll be going back for sure.

Good straciatella soup and delicious veal Parmigiano. We cant eat tomato and they were nice enough to change the red sauce to a Alfredo sauce.

Very difficult to order simple things than there was this special hour so I ordered some food from there they told me that I m on the wrong side of the restaurant they told me it was okay so I just took the pizza the portions were very small not really a good Italian restaurant in my opinion washrooms where also very dirty Parking: There was only one spot left to park almost didn t fit in

My family had a lovely meal here while on vacation. The service was too notch and we loved the home made pasta with pomodoro sauce. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend at NOTL. We were coming from a wine tour and decided to stop in for a bite. We were seated and after only ordering one drink, one appetizer and one entree for two people, were treated very poorly by our wait staff. We were left with no water for the duration of our visit. We arrived at 7:40 and did not get our food until after 8:40, over an hour later. Mind you, the resturant was nearly empty. There was no reason for our service to be anything less than excellent. When our order arrived, after asking for sharing plates, our waiter says You guys can share out of that bowl, ya? . I am very disappointed with our experience at Casa Mia in NOTL and will not be returning.

Dropped in by chance, recommend by neighbours. Happened to be Date Night (special menu) Food was fantastic, great value for the specials offered up, and the service was terrific. (Nico). We are new to the area and will be back many times more.

Had a party of 11 people come and all of my friends that had the chicken got violently ill the night of. Would not recommend unless you like throwing up. Service was also terrible, they left stacked dirty plates on the tabIe and an open wine bottle with the opener on the table for almost 20 min before coming back for them. I also had two elderly friends come here who were was confronted by their server for not leaving a big enough tip. In all my years of being a guest of many restaurants have I never ever heard of something like this occurring.

We had our friend s bachelorette dinner here and had an amazing time! We can t thank the staff enough for making our experience unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

Had lunch with my wife and four of our friends on a Saturday night. We were given a private room towards the back of the restaurant which was beautifully decorated. JR (Junior) was our waiter and he was extremely attentive and responsive. The quality of the meals was excellent and the wine selection was extensive. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants Ive eaten at in the Region!

Interesting experience tonight at Casa Mia. My friend and I had made reservations for 5:30 pm thinking we would be experiencing happy hour followed by dinner. Apparently happy hour only applies to the bar area. Okay, understandable although not fully explained when making a reservation. We moved on as it wasn t a huge deal. Ordered cocktails followed by appetizers and then mains plus a bottle of wine. Food and service were fine nothing spectacular. I question $36 for cannelloni but it was well cooked. My friend s pasta order came with the incorrect pasta but again we let it slide. Server never apologized for the error even though my friend did point out the mistake. Also, apparently the restaurant was unable to provide a decaf cappuccino. Not that difficult at most restaurants. The interesting part occurred after we had just paid our bill. We were still finishing our wine when our server approached and said that someone wanted our table. Excuse me? I had seen this person (blue suit jacket) walk through the dining area a few minutes prior to our server approaching us. Did they have a reservation? Did they know someone and therefore feel entitled to the table? There were plenty of tables available but we were sitting in a booth which this person clearly felt they were entitled to. Whatever the reason, it was completely inappropriate for the server to request we vacate our table when we had spent $200+ during our meal. If it was that important, the server should have asked us to move to the bar and maybe offer a free cocktail for our trouble. But no just someone wants this table . I have worked at a high end Niagara restaurant and I understand reservations can overlap but when that happens, apologies are made and a free drink or liquor is offered as compensation. Would the server have asked two men to vacate the table or did he feel two women wouldn t argue back? Whatever the rationale, it left a bad taste for both of us. Keep in mind, both of us dine out fairly regularly and now Casa Mia will not our restaurant of choice. We have also attended events at Terramia (a separate entity but advertise their connection to Casa Mia) and this treatment will definitely make us re-think attending any further events. Was it worth it for this restaurant to treat two women with less respect than two men? They have now lost future business from both of us and we will also not hesitate to advise friends to find somewhere else to spend their money. With the high cost of dining out these days, it s unfortunate that a restaurant would choose to alienate two diners on a Friday evening when the restaurant was not even full. Overall a very poor business decision.

We booked, the reservation was confirmed, and when we got there they told us that the kitchen was closed.

I really enjoyed everything about my experience at Casa Mias. The food was excellent! The service was great! My hubby loved it too!

First visit back since 2020 and noticed a lesser quality. Bread/oil was a great start and we expected rest to be same. Bruschetta was a disappointment. We expected fresh cut tomatoes but instead got a pasta sauce covered in cheese. Warm at best. Main dish of spaghetti was good but again only warm, not hot. Veal Parma was ok, would have been better if hot. After looking forward to visit was greatly disappointed.

Wow! Was so pleasantly surprised. I ve been looking for a good Italian resto in the Falls for a while. Have tried many of the popular spots and was not impressed. Casa Mia food, value, service and ambiance was spot on! Will definitely go back! PS: Hubby hard to please, but loved it !

Couple weeks ago went for a companys Christmas party. First impression was good. BUT, service was sooooooooo slow. Took probably 30 minutes just to order a drink. I had whiskey sour and it was DISGUSTING. No egg whites. It was literally whiskey, simple syrup and melted ice. My partners cocktail was not better. Server left an unopened bottle of wine together with her wine opener ON OUR TABLE and disappeared for a good 20 min. Food was okay. Nothing special. I understand that Christmas season is busy, but restaurant wasnt full. Will not come back and cant recommend to noone

Great place for a romantic meal.

Great food and attentive service for a late lunch on a foggy Thursday afternoon. The veal was nicely paired with perfectly cooked pasta.

Homemade pasta is wonderful!

The food was phenominal. The service was good....But small food menu and surprisingly loud making it difficult for conversation. Small drink menu. Charged 20$ at time of res ... but when we showed up it was empty so didnt realize why it was necessary. Not the best option for a romantic sit down dinner IMO.

We went to Porchetta Night yesterday and had an amazing dining experience. Everything about the evening was absolutely fantastic from the food, the staff, the service, and the entertainment. Thank you Claudio, and Casa Mia family. Looking forward to our next diner at Casa Mia. Mary and Flory.

Beautiful restaurant with good food and service.

Loved it! We came to Niagara for an anniversary weekend & got a recommendation to try Casa Mia. The food, wine & service was fantastic. Its not inexpensive, but the food quality was amazing. We had the Tomato and Bocconcini, Veal Scallopini, Mushroom stuffed ravioli with a truffle sauce. All perfectly prepared.

What a beautiful restaurant. The best Italian restaurant that I ve been to. Oyster was lovely! It came with some delicious red wine sauce I was not all for grilled calamari as it can turn rubbery very fast but omg, it was so perfect! I was so happy to see that food was actually SUPER FRESH and not microwaved sauce. I asked for Chicken Parmigiana which was not on menu and they made it PERFECT! my picky toddler had half the pizza and my seafood pasta was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend this restaurant. Best in town. I will definitely go back. our waitress was great too but the CHEF we should have asked to meet him for the kudos, hope you read this! THANK YOU

Reservation was 6:30 pm got drinks and ordered meals . Salads came and meal didnot come till after8:00 pm.. server didnot come back to ask all for drinks.. not sure why u make a reservation and they DoNot have enough staff on to manage business. What is wrong with management here?

Was Amazing! Food service...Only thing I would have loved on my 65th. Birthday. Would have been someone playing the Grand piano. But it was Beautiful to look at while I ate the great service and meal.

Food was okay, not flavorful. Not enough seasoning, and not in a less is more so its good kind of way. Ive had better Italian at way cheaper places. Hostess was friendly but unprofessional. Server was friendly but inattentive. Whiskey sour was great. Wouldnt recommend, casa mia is masquerading as a much nicer place than it is.

Was so excited to eat here but was disappointed. The hostess(?) told us that we were 30 min late for our reservation. Turnd out the website we booked through gave us the wrong time. Hostess was nice but also let us know that they dont know what theyre going to do because they have another reservation for our table in 1hr. There was no need to tell us that! Were there spending 200.00 for a nice dinner and I kept thinking about how much weve inconvenienced them even though it wasnt our fault. The food was bland. It sounded so good but was disappointing. Our waiter was nice but got slower and slower as time went on. We were going to get dessert but he took so long to get our dessert order, that we just wanted to leave. Would not come back.

I had the pleasure of being served by Abby during our visit to Casa Mia in Niagara Falls, and I must say, her service was absolutely AMAZING! From the moment we sat down, Abbys warm and friendly demeanor made us feel welcome. Abby was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She helped us navigate it, making some fantastic recommendations. Our meals arrived promptly, and they were prepared to perfection. Throughout our dining experience, Abby made sure our glasses were never empty, and she checked in on us just the right amount of times to ensure everything was to our satisfaction without being intrusive. Her exceptional service truly enhanced our evening at Casa Mia, and we left with smiles on our faces, thanks in large part to Abby. I went last weekend for the first time and I loved the place. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Super recommend!!

We ordered Ravoli, Speghetti lobster, four cheese Gnocchi, side meatballs and fries with a caprese salad and side ceasar. The Caprese was ok but nothing to brag about, Ceasar salad came without bacon. The lobster speghetti had me excited but it was only ok. Lobster was overcook and tough, shrimp just ok and the muscles clearly frozen and flash cooked. The Ravolli passed but I wouldnt say rush here to try it. The meatballs were ok too The best part of the meal was the fries. Now for the 4 cheese gnocchi you ask? Came to the table over an hour after ordering in a bowl with some form of cover on it and already floating in some kind of alfredo sauce. And even though you could barely see Gnocchi given the 2 cups of alfredo already in the bowl,the waiter then poured an extra cup of white gloppy stuff on the bowl once the lid was removed. My 7 year old, after two bites said it tasted like Goldfish. And folks, she wasnt lying. She ate my bland speghetti as my wife and I tried 4 more of her Gnocchi. When the waiter came 30 minutes later, we told him that our daughter didnt like it but looking at the plate (with a total of 6 gnocchi missing) he said oh she did good. So if youre in the mood to wait for 2 hours for fries at a restaurant that serves Goldfish Cracker flavoured Gnocchi for $27 a plate and thinks that 6 of them eaten is a success, look no further. We will never be back. If this is a 1 1/2 star italian restaurant at best. Chain restaurants provide far better service and food. I would strongly recommend staying away unless you want Goldfish Gnocchi white glop soup.

Spaghetti al cartoccio with al dente lobster and seafood and a very tasty sauce (I would recommend a little less garlic but I still liked it) Two pizzas rated 10 (better than some Italian pizzerias) Excellent both for cooking and for the flavor of the ingredients and for the dough Two excellent Spaghetti carbonara Two tender pork chops 1 excellent rigatoni We recommend it especially to Italians

I had a reservation at 5 pm during happy hour time. There must of been a big miss understanding for the happy hour. We ordered a few things from the happy hour menu and when we got our bill nothing was applied. The waiter which he was great but not clear about the rules for happy hour. And neither does your Instagram post is clear about it or the sign in the restaurant. He says it has to be in the bar. The restaurant should make it very clear that the happy hour applies to only the bar area. Very disappointed. As you can see there is no sign or rule pointing to the happy hour is bar only. The food is okay but not worth the prices they have

Such disappointment! The delay extended beyond the appetizers, with a subsequent 50-minute wait for pasta dishes that, one would presume, should not require such extensive preparation time. If we were awaiting a culinary masterpiece involving intricate grilling techniques, perhaps such a wait could be justified. However, the dishes served did not exhibit the complexity to warrant this.(During this time, our server never come to check or let us know how long this would take. We have to go to bar to ask for this) Moreover, the quality of the food did not help redeem the protracted wait. The flavors were mediocre, lacking the robust and vibrant notes Italian cuisine is celebrated for. The most disheartening aspect was the sausage, which arrived partially heated, an oversight that speaks volumes of the care put into the preparation.

We had cream bruleè , coffee It was too late for dinner so we just had dessert. I highly recommend it . Romantic place Food : 5/5

Amazing fresh pasta!

Family owned and operated, a Niagara tradition focused on quality and customer service! Food is amazing, atmosphere is very nice, its great sitting at the bar and watching all the action. If you are in Niagara and looking for finer dining that isnt a tourist trap come here.

JUST WOW!! So happy to see and experience just an amazing service especially after 2 years of a pandemic. I have noticed in most places the customer service is out of the window but Casa Mia has blown my mind from service to food quality. Highly recommend this restaurant. You must go and try it. And don t be afraid of the $$$ , it s much cheaper than any high-end Italian restaurant in the GTA.

Delicious food and great wait staff. Went on Valentine s Day and they were short staffed and still did a great job. The only thing I would say is that the portions are small however quite delicious!

Lovely food but limited menu. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Large wine list but definitely not all in stock. Took about 6 times to find a bottle they had. Service was very professional.

I finally made it back to Casa Mia after staying huddled at home during the Pandemic. What an amazing experience! Things at Casa Mia have only gotten better in time. The venue itself looks incredible, and the warm, welcoming family atmosphere hasn t changed. Dominic, Claudio and the rest of the family made me feel right at home again. For anyone looking for that true European experience - 5 Star dining while feeling the warmth of visiting family for a meal - this is the place.

I booked a reservations for Casa Mia on February 16. The dinner was amazing. We had the date night special which included a salad, main entree and a dessert. For the price they had for date night it was an amazing steal! The environment especially for a date night was awesome. The decor, the quiet ambience, the service and the food was worth the price!! Would recommend anyone to bring their dates here! Make sure you make a reservation!

The best Italian restaurant i went... Calamari is cook perfectly and so tender.. Pork chop is the best i got so far anywhere.. all food our guess had was perfect and all tasty. Service ia perfecto and friendly. For sure we will come back again.

Make reservations. It wasnt for me. For took a really long time to get, maybe an hour. My friends order was incorrectly filled so we asked to cone back. This was fine fairly quickly so they can clearly do it faster. Special was Kobe beef bolognese on Fettuccini. The pasta was too firm. Portion size fairly small.

The service was terrible and the food took extremely long to come out. Also they got multiple orders wrong. The quality of the food is sub par at best.

This place has terrible service. We decided to eat here with a group of 8 for a bachelorette thinking it would be a great experience. As soon as you walk in it is extremely quiet and stuffy with a VERY small dining area so you are in the middle of everyone. This is NOT the vibe you want for a bachelorette. A complete buzzkill. To make it worse the food took AN HOUR. Extremely slow service and we were starving by then and very cranky. When the food arrived it was extremely small portions and very bland, terrible tasting food . One of the waiters over heard us saying that we did not like the salad and instead of asking how he can make it better he yelled out THERES CALAMARI, SHRIMP AND IMITATION CRAB WHATS NOT TO LIKE? (Nice sales pitch for fake crab salad at an overpriced stuffy restaurant!) You are better off going to East Side Mario s or Boston Pizza for a more LIVELY environment with delicious food and Quality service . Overpriced and terrible food. Save yourself and your friends from this place. For all groups of bachelorettes or anything where you have an itinerary do not include this place.

I can not say anything bad about the time we had! We went for my sister bachelorette and we had the private room with a set bachelorette menu. It was absolutely perfect. Amazing service. Amazing food. I highly recommend! So accommodating and worth every penny! Will be returning for sure!

I made reservations to Casa Mia a month in advance for mine and my husbands first anniversary. We were incredibly excited because we dont often treat ourselves to an expensive meal like this. The appetizer (lumache) was great, delicious even. But our server was rude from the get go, yelling at us to put our napkins on our laps (before food had even arrived), and letting my husband know he was using the wrong plate for his bread. She made several comments that just seemed to be for the sake of degrading us throughout the entire meal and when another party arrived, she began outright ignoring us and even had another server bring us our check while she stood only feet away folding napkins. And our entrees... absolutely flavorless. The house-made noodles were undercooked and my ravioli was incredibly dry. If not for the lumache, I would give this place 0 stars.

Showed up for a reservation to celebrate. Right off the get go the server was rude to the people in front of us for not having a reservation. They said they didnt mind sitting at the bar, she proceed to tell them fine, we will get to you whenever we have time. Then when seated it took a very long time to get our just our orders in, probably over a half hour, then even longer to get a salad probably about an hour, when we asked about the entrees she was rude again and said that it was a scratch kitchen and it takes time, we had been at the resturant for over an hour and a half by this time and had plans afterwards, we were told it would probably take at least another 20 mins and she made it sound like our orders hadnt even been started yet. We said we had to leave cause we have other plans and she then told us that we should have told her we were in a hurry. When she went back to the kitchen we could hear her arguing with the manager about us and when she came back we asked her to cancel the order and her and the manager started throwing us dirty looks. We were there for over an hour and a half and only got a salad. Guess no celebration for us and wont be back.

Loved the food and the service. We had ravioli, spaghetti and bruschetta, all veg. We couldnt try pizza as the serve it only Wednesday onwards(today being Monday)

The restaurant looked beautiful and was well decorated. Great ambience. Food was slow to come out. Food was extremely bland and drinks were not good. We got the chicken milanese (which has no flavour at all) and the truffle ravioli (could not taste any truffle). Will not be coming back.

Got to the place around 830 with a group of 4 to see a live performance and have some drinks, the lady who greeted us told us we couldnt sit down unless we were eating, until 9. She was so rude and smug. You could tell just by looking at her. It was almost like she was getting pleasure out of telling us we couldnt sit down. We are younger people and didnt look like part of the crowd that was there that night. All of us were still dressed up. Eventually we came back after 9 and we were greeted by the same lady who told us well it doesnt look like anybody has gotten up, and walked away. We could see empty tables. This place definitely judges you based on your appearance and age. Will never be bringing my money here.

Weve just had a wedding party at Casa Mia. As you can appreciate it our expectations has been very high, and I happy to say that the ambiance, the staff and the food more than met our expectations. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place for everyone! Thanks for your wonderful hospitality Casa Mia!

Pretty great spot, food was decent overall had a great time! A bit costly though.

The service was terrible! Extremely slow!!!! Took them 15-20 mins just to bring my wife her glass of wine. Their excuse was the bartender just got here. We had to ask our waitress multiple times to bring bread over to the table. Finally got some after about another 20 mins. The appetizers were good but it took forever to get them. At least another 30 mins after we got our bread. Then to top it all off waited another 30-45 mins for our entrees. Both of them were terrible. My food was cold when it came out and my veal was very tough. I sent it back. My wifes gnocchis were also cold and overcooked. Very soft almost mushy. Wasted over 2 hours of my life at this place for a terrible meal. We will never be going back.

We had an amazing lunch here. Everything is perfect.

Good Vegetarian options !

The bruschetta here must have been made by a ten year old with an easy bake oven. Food was ridiculously over priced and makes Olive Garden look like a Michelin restaurant. You can trip and fall over so many great restaurants in Niagara Falls, save yourself and don t go here. I have to live with this night and the choices I made.

Beautiful atmosphere, used to come here regularly pre-COVID. Must have seriously lost the chef and staff over COVID. Bad service (still nice people), cold food, doesnt matter if it was hot though it was still dog food. 3 apps and 4 entrees, all four of us cannot get over how bad of a dinner it was. Not average, not mediocre but overpriced, bad. Dont waste your time.

Unfortunately this was a very disappointing experience. We went with high hopes for a birthday dinner and found the service was quite slow and our server to polite but not attentive. We ordered the large Ceasar salad to share, a veal parmasan & my partner ordered a pasta special. The Ceasar salad was tasty but extremely small, and my veal parm was barely hot and the breading was mushy, as if it had been made a day ahead and kept in the fridge! The olive oil served with the bread also tasted as if it was going rancid. The tiramisu we ordered for desert was delicious, however. Given the meal came to $170 with tip and tax, we will certainly not ever be returning.

Weve eaten at Cass Mia s several times. Were from the States and its our favorite place to go because of course the food and service is amazing but most importantly it hold such precious memories of our dear friends Robert and Ivanka. Its a very special place for our whole family.

I think the quality of food went downhill. Calmari was frozen, olive oil bitter, bad. Food dissapointed us in general except for Teramisu that is still good. Wine list was great. Unfortunately bad food experience all in all.

Ate here date night. Fantastico. Server Porcha was wonderfull. Complementary oil on the table was real extra virgin olive oil from Italy. Food was authentic with real fresh Ingredient s. My wife and I where extremely satisfied. Thank you.

Food and service was amazing

My wife and I arrived before our 3 guests so we decided to have a drink at the bar. We were totally ignored by the bartenders for at least 10 minutes while they were busy talking to each other. Our guests arrived and we were seated, but it took at least 15 minutes before we saw our waitress. We finally ordered our dinners but only 4 were served with one being ice cold. The waitress took it back to heat it up and when she brought it back out she finally brought the 5th dinner. As our friend was eating she discovered a long hair in her dish (disgusting ) and notified the waitress. The manager on duty brought an assortment of desserts on the house to make up for the wayward hair. The restaurant is very elegant and the food was delicious (except for the hair). Unfortunately, the horrendous service ruined our evening. We will not go back!

Best pasta!!!! Amazing service

After weeks of waiting for a good night to order takeout, we finally did it. My father didnt feel comfortable dining inside and the restaurant is closed on Sundays and holidays, and we planned to use a gift card. The food was incredible and the portions were massive. We were beyond impressed and loved every bite. We gave a tip and the owner was so surprised (since we were ordering take out) that he gifted us a bottle of red wine for free! Incredible experience even for take out. Definitely recommend. Love this place.

Had an event in the Garden Room. The seafood menu was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Excellent service made the day perfect!

Had dinner there because I got gift card through work. Have to say I dont always give a lot of four stars, but this one deserves it walking in. You smell the wave of fresh garlic and youre instantly hooked on Italian cuisine that you hadnt even had yet.. you sit down in a relaxing atmosphere and you enjoy an experience of Italian food that I havent had since I went to Italy a few years back. Highly recommend It the prices were not bad a bit pricey but really cant complain on that because you know everything is fresh and homemade!

I mentioned it s my husband s birthday they were super nice over texting at 5:16pm. Our dinner was 7:00 pm Then when we went the server was like oh no it s your birthday so nobody told her ! We ordered beef carpaccio it s a shame to have Italian beef carpaccio with bastrami , the spaghetti was drenched with chilli and we couldn t finish it. As far as the the veal chop is concerned, I ordered medium/rare and it was served medium. Then we asked for the bill , after we paid I sent them that I m really disappointed they texted me back why you on a rush! Seriously !!! After we ate and paid and you did nothing not even a candle on his dish for the birthday guy!!! The overall experience was below average for a supposedly a special night.
