6100 Thorold Stone Rd #14, Niagara Falls, ON L2J 1A3, Canada
Cozy Japanese eatery with a warm vibe features innovative sushi & an array of traditional dishes.
Excellent food—super fresh and incredibly tasty! The staff are super friendly and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
I recently visited a Japanese restaurant and had the pleasure of trying several dishes: Japanese curry, Tonkatsu ramen, and Beef Gyudon with rice. The Japanese curry was rich and comforting, with a deep, savory flavor that balanced the spices perfectly. The sauce had a velvety smooth texture, and it paired wonderfully with the tender vegetables and meat. It was hearty, yet not overwhelming. The Tonkatsu ramen was a standout. The broth had a full-bodied richness, deeply flavorful and just the right level of creaminess. The Tonkatsu pork was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and melted in your mouth. The noodles were perfectly cooked and absorbed the broth well. The Beef Gyudon with rice was simple yet satisfying. The beef was tender and flavorful, glazed in a sweet soy-based sauce that complemented the fluffy rice beneath it. The dish felt wholesome and perfectly balanced in flavor. As for the service, the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure everything was to our liking. The atmosphere was peaceful and calming, offering a great environment for enjoying a meal. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that left me wanting to return.
Fresh sashimi and delicious ramen. This is a gem to warm up after a hike in the Niagara Glen and seeing butterfly. Small restaurant with cute and peaceful ambiance. Food tastes great and presented so well.
This place is a hidden gem. I’ve tried almost all of the sushi restaurants in Niagara Falls but Michinoku is my absolute favourite. Their fish is always so fresh and their selection of sushi is so delicious. The service is very fast and friendly, and their price is very affordable compared to other sushi restaurants. Overall I’d say that this place has the best sushi from the region. Highly recommend.
Tried the Korean Style Tuna Bowl w/ Gochujang sauce and very tasty and VERY fresh! The rice at the bottom is super tasty and seasoned with something so good!! I would highly recommend this dish to someone who's looking for something lighter and trying to eat healthier! $38.00 for two bowls and I would buy again! Thank you for your kind service and delicious food !
Recently visited the place to try ramen. Loved the place and service. Its a cute restaurant with unique and beautiful interior. Its beautiful. The service was good and fast. We had tried vegetarian ramen. The quantity was good. It looked delicious. We found it could be little better with by adding some flavours. Felt something is missing. But we loved the service surely going to try other options.
Good quality Japanese food. We came for lunch and found the selection really good. This was our 3rd attempt to try out this restaurant. The other two times, they closed earlier than indicated in the opening hours.
Enjoyable! The food was satisfying. We got ramen (~15 each) and the onigiri meal ($18). The ramen was good, maybe a protein component like egg or tofu in the ramen would be a good addition! I did really enjoy the ingredients like the mushrooms and fried lotus root. The onigiri were good as well, we got the avocado, shiitake, and bulgogi. All 3 were decent, but it doesnt totally feel that the onigiri meal is totally worth the price point. Overall a good meal
I am a friend of the original owner of Michinoku. I spent a lot of time eating Kojis food, from the first day he opened, till the last customer before he retired. Out of loyalty and the fact his food was impossible to compare to, I avoided visiting Episode 2....Until last week. I was deeply missing my friend and his food...so I took a chance...and I was beyond impressed. There are only a few changes in the decor. The server was very polite and the service was great. ..and the food?? Well,,, I t was the next best thing to Kojis food that I have ever tasted...he could have made it himself.. I spoke with Chef Yeoung, the new owner ,,,and thanked her deeply. I was a little emotional and got choked up.. twice.. I didnt know if I was ever going to eat sushi again as nowhere else even comes close to the quality, ambience and pride in their food...But Chef Yeoung has won me over completely. Looking forward to many more meals at my all time favourite sushi place. Thank you very much Chef... See ya soon....Jason
Very delicious and fresh sashimi. We had to wait a bit, but it was well worth it. Absolutely delicious sushi and ramen.
Hands down the best, Ramen, curry, sushi, and gyoza on the planet. AMAZING. On my second visit from NYC I had the sushi bento and the agedaishi tofu. I cant beleive it but this place bests every Japanese restaurant Ive ever eaten at all over the world. STILL THE BEST
Fast and friendly service. Shoyu ramen was excellent. The egg was incredible. Prices are good, too. Food
Great food, friendly staff. Chicken Katsu was cooked to perfection. They made our 4 year old his favorite sushi roll of just rice and seaweed!
I don t understand how this place Isn t packed daily. The food is incredible and delivered in excellent quality, speed and presentation. The menu has tons of options and the atmosphere was incredibly brilliant and beautiful. It s great for trying new things as well as keeping it simple for beginners to Asian food. This is easily the best sushi in Niagara. 10/10
Good quality of fish at resonable price. They dont use garbage fish such as tilapia, escolar like most other Chinese AYCE sushi. You must try this place!!!!!!
This is the best Japanese restaurant near Niagara.
Very high quality Japanese food. Definitely will be returning. Presentation A+, service made us feel welcome and like VIP s
Sushi and sashimi were top qualities and delicious. Service was prompt and excellent. We ordered via uber, they forgot to send my 2 drinks. Owner himself came to our hotel to bring the 2 missed drinks and gave us 2 extra drinks and apologized for the mistake.
Definitely, the best sushi in town!
Very nice pieces of sushi and very friendly staff. Chef made me a special dessert because they were sold out of daifuku. Talented and well deserved 5 stars-- ---UPDATE--- The restaurant is now a fusion-style restaurant with overly complicated and maybe pretentious menu items. Nothing was very appetizing sounding. The restaurant was empty on a saturday afternoon which was weird to me when I arrived, but not surprising once I saw the menu. Please go back to your Michinoku roots by making downright good Japanese food for the public; I am worried this will be your own Michinoku (End of the road).
First time here under the new management. We came on Valentines Day. Pleasantly surprised with complimentary gold flake salmon sashimi and caramel walnut vanilla ice cream. The sashimi portions are generous and everything was presented well. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were reasonable and great value. Love the cozy atmosphere and private table setup.
Food was delicious and you can tell the chef really cares about each dish. Will definitely be coming back again
Went there on a weekday evening for dinner. I really liked the ambience of the place. The taste of the food was average, could be because of the fact that we ordered vegetarian options for Ramen. Have tried Ramen from a couple of other places and felt that it lacked some flavour. Might come to this place to try other options. Vegetarian options: There are few vegetarian options available at this place. Dietary restrictions: You can let them know about your dietary restrictions at the time of order. Parking: Ample parking available at the location. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking right in front of the restaurant.
A have to stop here experience. Fine Japanese cuisine. Wonderful staff Food : 5/5
My dad and I found this place before Covid. We LOVE going there!!! Both chefs are great, but the gentleman chef has a special spot in my heart for his amazing sushi!! Newer menu but all still great options! Thank you for your amazing sushi
Love the restaurant best food ever and the workers are so polite .....nice and very accommodating
I really love this place but they should really change the hours on google. It says 11:30-9:30 I stopped in at 2:00 and they said oh sorry we close at 2:30 very disappointing
The food was really yummy and quite unique. Great service and ambiance too. I really enjoyed the pan fried dumplings and tofu agedashi.
Best Sushi Ive ever had.
Love this restaurant ; ) Taste good and lovely chef ; )
They just opened this week and they had Ramen menu. It was really tasty. In Niagara falls, there are no good place to take Ramen.. but finally I found right place
Phone # doesnt work
My first ever poke bowl, salmon with sweet teriyaki sauce. Food was good but, as the notice on the door says, it is not the original Michinoku. I miss you, Chef Okabe. Vegetarian options: I saw some on the menu but didnt try any. Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible.
The sushi burrito was delicious and I look forward to trying more items on the menu. The sauces were amazing especially the parmesan garlic! Both ladies serving at the restaurant were kind and very welcoming. I wish Michiniku Episode 2 a great success.
good
Clean and fresh.
Cute little place away from all the touristy havoc. Super stellar service...DELCIOUS FOOD. 10/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
Wonderful fresh food and friendly people
I had a very tasty and healthy meal again, a real alternative to the unhealthy food here in Niagara.
New ownership, super interesting menu, wonderful presentation and warm people.
Service was slow but food was spectacular! Will come back.
I enjoyed it so much.
Very fresh veggies, perfectly baked/cooked meat, everything well seasoned and served by kind staff. Parking: Plaza parking that s not too busy most of the time.
I m giving a one star review due to the new ownership. I went to lunch with a friend and we walked out, the menu was abysmal and generic even for Asian fusion it was disappointing, this is no longer a restaurant worth visiting and for me to say this was extremely disappointing as it was my favourite spot but now it is a shell of its former self and is a pseudo Uber eats ghost kitchen.
Passed by this place on the way to grab a pizza. Poked my head in and grabbed a sushi burrito instead. Its like a giant sushi roll full of (I got the salmon) your favorite type of roll toppings. A little wasabi and soya sauce and I had a lunch that was tasty and much healthier than the pizza I was expecting.
The chef is incredible. Shes so talented. I was so impressed with the fried food feeling so light and not greasy. Everything tastes so fresh. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Im a big japanese cuisine enthusiast and this place is my new favourite place to go. Also I should mention the service is very good. Our server was so sweet. The atmosphere was very cozy, too. :)
I should of taken the picture before i started eating but i couldnt wait, the food was so great! The service was amazing as well. Im so happy to find amazing japanese food in Niagara
Such a lovely place with great food. On a rainy day we went there for ramen and it was a perfect choice! We had Yum Yum Spicy ramen, Shoyu ramen, and Miso ramen and they were all very delicious. Oh and for appetizer karaage too which was really good. It was super neat and clean inside and the server was very sweet too! Highly recommend! This is a Japanese restaurant run by Koreans, and the karaage and ramen are all very, very, very delicious. I ordered while excitedly talking about seeing Niagara with my companions, and they gave me a lot of karaage. The interior was clean and bright, so I ate well and rested well before heading out. ^^
Food was served fast, very hot and fresh. Good and attentive service. Prices are reasonable, and portion sizes are quite good. Will go back for sure..
It was exactly what I was expecting, a good experience.
We love their sushi burritos poke bowls,
Super delicious bibimbap, friendly staff lots of parking a great lunch
THEIR QUALITY CANT BE COMPARED WITH OTHERS. What a lovely place. Cozy and warm inside... The most wonderful thing is nice and friendly staffs! This place is perfect to enjoy party at the end of the year or Christmas Food : 5/5
Sushi was as good as what I used to eat in East Asia. Very fresh and melts in your mouth! My mom and I love fish but my dad not so much, so he had a bento box and thoroughly enjoyed it. The music and atmosphere were very cozy. Lovely service! Parking: Plaza has a parking lot with lots of spaces right in front of the restaurant Kid-friendliness: They have kids chopsticks and high chairs.
Ordered assorted sushi, taste like food court sushi. Nothing special, the tempura was so small & seemed came from frozen stock. Service was good, only one server but fast n efficient. Food
We ate here on December 9, 2023 and it was great. The fish is as fresh as it gets. The owner, cook and waitress were very friendly and helpful. Id highly recommend Michinoku Episode 2 for anyone who loves sushi, tempura chicken, vegetable rolls etc. Best sushi in Niagara!
We went to the restaurant the night before lockdown. But because of heater problem only can takeout. We ordered the food take back to air b&b. Food are delicious .
The sushi is always tasty and the people working are very friendly.
Niagaras hidden gem! By far the best and most authentic japanese sushi in the Niagara Penninsula. The quality is excellent. Chef is from Japan and has over 40 years experience in japanese cuisine. He includes several other unique dishes on the menu that you will not see in other sushi restaurants.
Authentic Japanese restaurant love it here
Fantastic little restaurant for authentic and delicious Japanese fare. The owner is the chef, so you know its gonna be fantastic!
It was delicious and very presentable !
Delicious
Best sushi in Niagara
A great little local sushi spot in Niagara. I order here regularly and their sushi is always fresh and overall high quality for the price. The photos are of their combo A and its enough for 1 - 2 people. NOTE: There is only one chef and if they are busy, they will decline your order to maintain quality, so be sure to order in advance!
Its a small place with only 4 tables so you better call ahead. The fish was fresh, delicious, and melted in our mouth. For true sushi lovers.
Perfect place to learn japanese food
Great food, lovely atmosphere
Restaurant opened by japanese so its real authentic japanese food. Portions were big and variety was there. Most order the sushi but the dinner set was pretty good too. Excellent service maybe cause we were early and the only ones around most were doing take out sushi platters. But he never forgot about us despite being busy with the orders and phone. Enjoyed the experience and will like to go back again for lunch and to try more of the menu. Arigato gozaimasu. Vegetarian options: There were good options available tofu nugget, vege sushi, agedashi tofu Parking: Lots of spaces in front of the restaurant Kid-friendliness: Was very accommodating to our screaming kids. Gave her ice water as he heard her asking for cold water when we only asked for water. Wheelchair accessibility: Apart from a step up the curb it was flat ground into the restaurant
A small restaurant with a great chef! The dishes presentation were superior, appealing, and tasty! Parking: A small restaurant with a great chef! The
Great food and atmosphere. Cant wait to go back
Love it!!! Though I wish there was more diversity on the sushi menu. Priced good and decently tasty. Super friendly staff. Relaxed vibes here
In Niagara Falls for one night. I come down 2 or 3 times a year. Absolutely the best sushi in Niagara Falls.
Great food. Amazing people. Best service in Niagara fall.
Delicious, fresh and high quality sushi. Staff very attentive and caring! Our new go to! Highly recommend.
I live in Niagara Falls and often (before Covid that is) will go to St. Catharines for Japanese food. We just re-discovered this very small restaurant called Michinoku in Niagara Falls, owned by a Japanese chef. I believe his relative also works there as the server. We order the lunch box (like a Bento Box). For $12.99 we got a small miso soup, edemame (in a cute red cupcake cup), rice with salmon teriyaki ( perfect size even for a dinner portion), nice fresh leafy salad with daikon radish and carrots (in a perfect Japanese dressing) and some grilled eggplant. Delicious and flavourful!!! The meal was ready in 20 minutes and the person managing the order was friendly, nice and pleasant. Both the chef and the server were wearing traditional Japanese outfits and they looked gorgeous!! What can I say, great experience!! Will come back again and again!!! They have a Tuesday special ( chicken cutlet) that we will try next time. They also have 10% off on Wednesdays for seniors (check restrictions).
Simply, spectacular delicious fresh sushi made but a great sushi chef. The place is clean feels like family run restaurant so there is lots of love put into it all. Just a perfect sushi restaurant
Amazing, great fresh food, clean, quiet tables, great, friendly service, good prices. Will definitely go back.
Great as always. Best marinated eggplant!
Delicious food, they have daily specials.
Serves with quality over quantity. Authentic sushi experience with a chef from Japan. Beautiful dinner ware and attention to detail with each dish. Hard to go back to the all-you-can-eat mass production after eating here.
My family and I LOVE this place!!! The sashimi and sushi are fresh and thick slices prepared by chef Koji . Aya the lovely lady is very friendly and always provides excellent services when we are there. The BEST Japanese restaurant in Niagara Falls!
Authentic Japanese fare. The Michinoku soup and big rolls were excellent. Didn t expect to find such good sushi in Niagara but now this is a new go-to!
Great Sushi Restaurant! Great quality sushi and the people here were so nice! We ordered takeout and everything was labeled and packaged with so much attention to detail. Definitely coming back here!
This restaurant has authentic delicious Japanese food!!! The service was amazing they honestly went so above and beyond. If you are in the area, and craving any type of Asian food, this place is MUST!
Great sushi and very polite staff! Food was ready fast and they left adorable messages on the packaging, would go again
Wow what a great place. Fantastic sushi. Great service. Such a cute clean place. You will love it.
Great atmosphere, really good food and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.
Amazing sushi and staff a must try for authentic Japanese cuisine
Excellent quality, good service, If youre wondering where to go after Taki closed this is the place.
Best place in town , friendly and great staff, best sushi made with love ,everything I had there was delicious. Must try!!!!
Always so fresh and tasty. The chef is very kind and always sure to say hello and ask how your meal was.
By far, the best Sushi in the entire Niagara Region. They even offer Uni when in season.
Nice and clean family run place (I think). Small but I like the privacy. Very welcoming. Good food though a bit pricey but they prep up and serve the food fresh.
Food is super fresh and tasty. Takes awhile to arrive though. Excellent Service. A little pricey. Free Onsite Parking. No WiFi. Clean Washrooms. Speaks Japanese and English.
Lived in Niagara falls for 12+ years. Hands down best Japanese food. Never have I had better sushi or hot pot anywhere. Always happy when i walk in the door and the prices are very on point. Support local!
This Place is a little Gem. I absolutely love the quality of the Food and the Atmosphere. Fair warning, it is on the higher end of cost but to me personally its worth it.
Fabulous every time! My go to place to eat!
Nice staff and clean but had better food other places
Amazing! Authentic and fresh!! My Favorite sushi in Niagara falls
Small family owned. Sushi pizza is great.
The sushi pizza is amazing!!
Best sushi in niagara
Excellent food! I love going there. Ive tried a couple of sushi places in the Niagara region and it is defenitely the best one in the city!
Excellent food, and wonderful service. Highly recommend.
I was hearing how fresh this sushi was and tonight I tried it and it did not disappoint! So delicious and had several yummy vegetarian options, will definitely be ordering again!!
Freshest sushi in Niagara
Very attentive staff, food was quick and delicious. Would go back if in the area again.
Quaint little restaurant, very clean and very attentive staff. Amazing customer service and very authentic!
Excellent restaurant hidden in an underwhelming plaza. The food here is top notch. The restaurant is small and cozy. Take out is a great option. The chef Koji his kitchen are open for all to see and Koji is impressive to watch. You can see the skill and attention that goes into his creations. The menu offers plethora of sushi and small plate options. The menu is always supplemented with changing specials; be sure to ask. Food is consistently fresh and delicious. There is no comparing the food here to the all-you-can-eat sushi options in the city.
Absolutely exceptional, authentic sushi. I have traveled to Japan 3 times and this is the first restaurant in Canada that matched in quality. Highly recommended!
Great food and friendly service!
Everythings perfect!! Service is very professional! Clean place! And the food is perfect! Couldnt ask for more. Totally recommend this place! And the waiting isnt long for a high quality food.
Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere and great service! This is my go to place for eating while in Niagara!
Good food and service. Dinning in is fun!
The food is very good. A little pricey for what you get. The place is tiny thus giving it a dull dining experience.
We love sushi, sometimes do ayce, but are always on the hunt for intimate, high quality options. We went on a Saturday eve without a reservation, and couldnt get a table, so we asked about take-out and were told it would be 1-1.5 hour wait. We were hooked, any place thats too busy to fit you in is probably worth the wait. And it was! Im not the best judge, I eat vegetarian and its not usually the best indicator of a sushi place. My rolls were good, nothing spectacular but at least as good as most other places, the sushi rice is really special, the rolls were lovely. My husband was so excited about his food, every bite was better than the last. Every piece of sashimi was the best hed ever had of that type. The salads are so fresh, the edamame too, everything was so fresh. We will definately be back if were in the area and would recommended this place for anyone who likes quality sushi. I cant speak to authentic, but the food is so fresh and high quality, the service is great. For sure in the top 3 sushi places weve ever been to, my husband says its the best.
Pre Covid I used to go to alot of the all you can eat places as I always had in the past. Then I found Michinoku and now nothing can compare. Truly exceptional. This business has quickly become a repeat favorite. WARNING this restaurant will ruin other places for you as they set the bar pretty high.
We ordered michinoku dinner, sashimi dinner and the eel or you can call Una-don dinner. Service is good , environment is ok. The food are , well, mixed experience , or below average in most part. The assorted tempura is good, batter is smooth and light, the vegetables choice used is in tempura is interesting. Salad is good, not as good as Taki but still over average. The eel is not tasty, like just took out from freezer and reheated. For that price, i start missing Taki....:( Sashimi are ok, but the salmon are thin and small, lacking of flavours, like its using tails part to serve. BTW cheif need sharpen the knife, i can see some tears on the peices. The rolls comes with the michinoku dinner are bad, tast like nothing. Over all, the food is ok, consider the price, i will give 3 stars for the food only. But overall , 4.
Friendly stuff and quick service but the food is not good for the price. Not at all
Tried all the other sushi places, this place is ! But its pricey af.
Amazingly fresh, great customer service, very tasty. 5 stars for sure!
I went here with my wife tonight and what a gem this place is! It was a cozy atmosphere, and you can tell that they really care about the food they make. Also, Im a vegetarian and I found the vegetable roll to be one of the best vegetarian rolls Ive ever had. It was sweet from the carrots and well balanced. My wife also liked the non-vegetarian rolls. Well definitely be coming back here again, warm people and good food.
Best Japanese restaurant in Niagara Falls, nice staff too.
Spectacular as usual
One of the best
It may be in the middle of nowhere but its worth the drive! Small restaurant, warm welcome. Simple fresh food. Beautifully prepared! best sushi rice I have tasted in Niagara. My new favourite Japanese restaurant! No door opener. Some accessible parking spaces.
Fresh and great customer service. I informed them of an allergy and they brought items out to let me read the ingredients.
Excellent sushi. Excellent service.
The best sushi I have had in Niagara, and I have been to many. Fresh ingredients, lots of great options ranging from American/Japanese to traditional Japanese. Very friendly staff.
Wont recommend this place to anyone. Mediocre/falling apart sushi. Very rude Chief. Yelled at us without any particular reason (we were the only customer at the time) in a decent English and as soon a few customers came in he switched his face to a smiley one and started to repeat thank you thank you... pretending he didnt speak English..I guess . It sure was a very interesting experience.
Its insanely good.
Own! And the food is fresh. Thanks to the owners.
Went in with 2 family members, upon arrival I was asked if we would like a drink, we all ordered. Waitress returned opened our drinks and THEN told us if we would mind to wait 1.5 hours MINIMUM to order sushi as they are extremely busy. There was a total of 6 people besides us in the place. I asked how come she said too many phone orders to catch up on. Horrible business model, not enough staff. WHY bother opening? Also loved how she served us drinks before the bad news, did not even cover drinks or offer any incentives to return.....NO THANKS, better places out there.
Wasnt very busy when I went. Lovely staff & food. Absolutely top notch.
Cute and cozy Japanese restaurant! The dishes they serve are so cute and they serve them in perfect time intervals do that your table is never too crowded. This restaurant helped change my opinion on sushi - which I now love. I will definitely be frequenting this place as often as possible.
Wonderful cuts of sashimi. Everything both beautiful and delicious
Tiny place but big on freshness !! Excellent sushi and very generous with their sashimi portions ! What impressed me was definitely the taste and quality of the ingredients. Will Absolutely go back !
We go every other week. Great sashimi
Best Sushi in the area !
AMAZING!
One of our favourite date night locations
Wow! Place came highly recommended and we now agree. Great sushi and wonderful staff. Try this place!
Great service and the best salmon sushi roll. Also tried the dill pickle roll which was fun and tasty. Thx!!
Great volcano rolls
The finest eating establishment ever established for eating.
The best sushi in the city.
Wonderful food and friendly, helpful staff who provided excellent service and good information. We had a great evening and will definitely be back soon.
Love this place-small and very cozy!!!Best sushi. Highly recommend
Very good and fresh. But expensive
Amazing quality. Great service. We love coming here!
The best there is. Chef Koji is a master of his craft.
Love this place! If you want QUALITY come here not wind
Really great Japanese restaurant with awesome food and friendly staff. Would definitely come back again!
A very wonderful experience for a beginner of the Japanese language. The staff are wonderful and helpful and prompt and very accepting of fumbles with the language. The chef was excellent with his culinary prowess and presentation of the meals. A great experience, and I look forward to going back!
Great place that serves amazing food. The quality is very good and the customer service is amazing. Ill be coming back for sure. Thank you so much guys
You will never, ever, ever eat sushi anywhere else once you have had Michinoku. I promise.
Scallop is very good.
I can only speak for the takeout here. I feel like this is one of the hidden gems at Niagara falls. Ordering was a breeze. Bought a Combo C for our anniversary in Niagra Falls and because we had a newborn we couldnt eat in the restaurant so we took it out. They said 30 minutes and it was ready in 30p minutes. Was briefly In the restaurant to pick up food.....the place looked welcoming with a little bit of Japanese flair. It was not glitcy or glamorous as most things are at Niagara. Food was absolutely amazing. Felt authentic...pieces were well portioned....not like in Toronto when they cut pieces so small....and quality was superior to any restaurant Ive eaten sushi in Ontario. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to eat great sushi.
Great place for japanese.
The best sushi place in the area! The quality of food is exceptional - the Chef definitely knows what he is doing and all the ingredients are of high quality and very fresh; customer service is amazing - always professional, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Prices are excellent especially considering the quality. If you are looking for great tasting sushi at reasonable prices, this is the place for you.
Best Sushi I ever had. I strongly recommend this
Excellent as always.
I went there for my wifes birthday dinner. We ordered assorted sushi plate and another apps. Apps was not bad but sushi what we ordered smelled really bad. I am sure those fishes stayed in the fridge over several days and rotten (Not even slightly. It was totally rotten. I smelled when they just served to the table) We didnt even complain about it because we were the only customers in the restaurant and I knew they will serve the same quality of food if we returne the food. And the rolls I served looked so ugly. Obviously we couldnt finish our food and her birthday dinner was ruined. Server was kind and I believe they arent serve that kind of food all the time but they need to take care about their food quality more.
I ordered the Michinoku where the assorted sashimi tasted fresh and the chicken perfectly cooked. Loved the fact that my assorted tempura came hot and crispy (just the way I like it). I had a very enjoyable experience and would certainly go again. It definitely wasnt the cheapest place but the quality in my opinion was worth it. Both waitress were very courteous, the place was clean and enjoyed the atmosphere.
Very high quality! Very well presented, friendly staff, great prices considering the quantity, however, we did wait quite a while for our food. It was definitely worth is though
Single handedly the most authentic Japanese cuisine experience you can find in the area. Amazing food. Amazing service. Definitely a top tier favourite in our home. :)
Best sushi in town. I never go anywhere else.
When in the Falls, just GO to Michinoku. Chef Koji, the owner is such a sweet man & will serve you right! Small menu, but its all delish!! Reasonable priced for such good food.
Been here 3 times... Always so so good! Favorite sushi ever!
Great sushi! Friendly staff. If I had to critique anything it would be the price of beer it is too much but its too much almost every where. We will definitely return.
Finished every single bit of the Agedashi Tofu Hot Pot. Unbelievablely good. Worth driving over an hour here every time.
Absolutely the best rolls in the region. Made fresh to order and the rice is cooked to perfection. The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Love it!!!
Authentic Japanese food, plus delicious, a cozy, guite place to dinning
By far the best Sushi and friendliest people around, I wish more people could experience this wonder, but I would rather keep this little gem to myself.
Great sushi place with amazing desert
Excellent food and service. My new favs :) Thank you!
Fantastic Japanese cuisine.
Amazing food and wonderful calm atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
By far, some of the best Japense food I have ever eaten. If you are lucky, you will come on a day when they have Taco (Octopus) Tempura or Tofu Nuggets! If you are looking for 100% authentic Japense food, dont look any farther!
This place was fine. My partner and I had dinner here on a weekend trip to Niagara Falls. It took ten minutes for us to get our drinks (water). We ordered sushi and it was okay. The pieces were smaller and less interesting than we are used to.
Small sushi place. Very good food but very tiny dining area. Located in a plaza and parking lot is tight.
