Went to the Korean garden today with my sister. We ordered dumplins and pork bone soup. Delicious, hearty and well balanced spices. Very nice service and calm and homie atmosphere. Will definitely come back again.
I’ve had plenty of Korean food and this one of the most fantastic authentic Korean food! We enjoyed this meal so much, everything was finished. One of the best meals we had this holiday. Rice cake, seafood pancake, pork belly, soy bean stew, kimchi stew was amazing.
The appetizer were very tasty and well done but the bibimbap was tasteless side dishes were only 2 which is very surprising if I compare to some korean restaurants in the national Capital overal the main dish lack of taste but the service was good.
At the edge of the main Niagara Falls attraction area that will be very much worth your time. Flavor is on point and on par with S. Korean countryside quality of deliciousness.
Very delicious, authentic Korean food. Good portions for an average Korean adult. Clean, cute space run by kind and caring staff. Highly recommend for a nice meal!
-This place is awesome!!! -Food was simple but really good!!! -Feels like a family owned business which is good. -Taste authentic! -We enjoyed it here -i recommend👍🏼
the food was absolutely delicious and there were no leftovers! even my child whos an extremely picky eater enjoyed her meal to the very last bite. also, the food was ready very fastly! parking situation is great as well, no need to worry about having to walk to the restaurant (parking is exactly in front of the restaurant) owner of the restaurant was very friendly, she even gave my kids free cookies! as we sat down, we noticed that koreans were enjoying their meal as well, so i can assure u, u will not be disappointed (they also didn’t leave any leftovers behind)! u even get free side dishes with a meal, as well as one free refill! im really looking forward to having another great meal with my family again next year. 10/10!!!!!!!
My dining experience at Korean Garden was truly exceptional. From the moment i walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made me feel at home. The menu offered a delicious variety of dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was a culinary delight, and I can't wait to return to Korean Garden to explore more of their delicious creations. Highly recommended
It s been a while since I had proper Korean food
Ordered delivery and I m glad I m not the only one disappointed with the bibimbap.. I thought I was being picky but it was kinda really bad. Pork belly was good though.
There is room for improvement
Food is overpriced for portion size. The Pork Katsu was appetizing but came with only a few bites of rice, lettuce and dressing that wasn t as appetizing. Bibimbap is made up of cheap ingredients - bean sprouts, carrots, lettuce, with small portion of beef. There s also a $2.33 service fee when you order online so watch out for that. Parking lot is empty at lunchtime on a Saturday.
I visited during my travels and regretted choosing Korean food. The food was not fresh and had a strong fishy smell.
Ah... the noodles between Jjamppong and Jjajangmyeon are so strange. Especially the Jjamppong... I almost had some left over...
A bit too expensive for the food that I had
Environment like garden :) Tasty food And quick & kind service.. Food : 4/5
Great neighborhood gem!! Authentic Korean food!! Great selection and reasonable priced!!
I ordered kimchi stew, jjamppong, and bone haejangguk. I was worried after seeing the Google reviews, but my friend said it was delicious. The kimchi stew was tastier than the one sold in Korea. Highly recommended!
Very good food and service
I spam the budae jjigae and spit it out because it smelled bad. It tasted like I didnt know if it was budae stew or kimchi stew. They say the dakgalbi was really tasteless. And when I went in and sat down, they didnt say anything, but when I paid, they said there was a 20% guarantee for groups of 5 or more and handed me the receipt. The taste wasnt that good, so I was only going to tip 13%, but I was embarrassed when they handed me my receipt and said the owner had already decided. I will definitely not go next time I come to Niagara.
Will never eat here again and don t recommend to anyone. Don t worth the price of the foods that we ate.
Food is good. And the server named winter she is really good.
Great service shout out to winter who serve is all 14 people alone thank you. Good food
I really recommend Korean Garden! The food here is authentic, especially the bibimbap and Korean barbecue. The spiciness is exquisite, and you can fully enjoy the flavor of the ingredients. The atmosphere is homely and perfect for having fun with friends. The lunch menu is also extensive, so you can easily enjoy delicious Korean cuisine. The dessert hotteok is also a must-try dish. Please come and enjoy the delicious food!
This is unfortunate. The budae Chijae was horrible due to the smell of freezburnt pork. We couldnt stand the smell of it.
100 % recommend this Restaurant. Very friendy and good ambiance. The owner is also very very nice and friendly. Not to mention the authentic korean foods and dishes! Food
Not recommended. Seafood fried rice contains four pieces of seafood. I think the name should be changed to Salt Onion Fried Rice. There are 4 pieces of meat in Ttukbaegi Bulgogi. I think the name should just be changed to Ttukbaegi. At least the bone haejangguk came out similar to its name, but it was bland. The tip came to about 80 Canadian dollars. I came here after reading the Naver review, and I was so disappointed. Dont go.
It really doesnt taste good... I went there because I really wanted to eat Korean food during my trip, but I was so disappointed that it wasnt so tasty. Are all the reviews saying this place is delicious from acquaintances? I dont understand how anyone can write a review saying that food like this is delicious. president! Please study cooking by watching Naver blog and YouTube!!!!!!!!!!! Thats because Im so upset!!!!!!!!!! I want to see Niagara Falls and eat delicious Korean food!!!!!!!!!! Come to your senses!!!!!!!!!!!!
My family and I used to eat here before pandemic hits the entire menu has changed over priced small serving and 20% MANDATORY TIP ...1 fried rice, L porkbone soup ,pork belly, and 1 appetizer total cost of $123 plus 20% MANDATORY TIP $166 for 5 person ..... its not a got to resturant anymore... OVER PRICED
This was my second visit here I had expressed how I wanted my order of pork belly and WOW I was not disappointed!!! Then I had their dumplings which is to die for !!! My husband had pork katsu and he loved, loved it! It was good and crispy! I tried it too and he was right! My next visit, I will try another dish. I will not hesitate to come back. Service was excellent just as the food was excellent!
A mediocre one, the quality of food is not worth the price.
This is the old Garden Restaurant . Its been a while since my friend and his wife came from Korea, and I was so embarrassed that I got scolded. The side dishes served to the table of four were small pieces of kimchi that looked like leftovers and puffy Odaeng Gospel, which were not enough for one person to eat. When I told the waiter that there were not many side dishes, he said there would be an additional charge for additional side dishes. As for food, Dongtae stew is salty, The ttukbaegi bulgogi was tough and had a lot of flavor. (Used old meat?) This is a restaurant that I can never recommend to Koreans. Its a shame I cant upload a picture!
Good food. Seafood pancake was the best Ive ever had
There is seriously no substance. The jjamppong has no ingredients and is all noodles. The ttukbaegi bulgogi also has a piece of meat and it is all onions. The price is over 20. I wonder what the owner is thinking of doing business. Never go there. It is a disgrace to Koreans.
Toronto Jjambbong costs about $14 and contains a lot of large seafood. In comparison, the mussels are small, whether they are frozen seafood, and the price is $20 compared to Toronto, which is $6 more expensive, but I couldnt find a reason why it is expensive.
Its 5 minutes from Nigara and the server was friendly. The alcohol refrigerator also had a neat lineup of soju bottles. The pork cutlet was delicious and the soft tofu stew wasnt bad either. However, instant tteokbokki without a single ingredient is $56. The noodles, ramen, glass noodles, etc. cost $5 extra each, and the soup was spicy and sweet and delicious. There is no tip option when paying, and 20% gratuity is included in the payment amount. please refer to this. If I visit next time, Id rather try bone haejangguk. It looked generous. A person who is kicking the blankets tonight after eating a very poor instant tteokbokki for 65,000 won is leaving a review.
amazing food and friendly service! very affordable and tasted amazing, highly recommend this place
I wish the owner wasn´t Korean there´s no way this can be Korean. So embarrassing. I didn´t even bother to raise my arm to take a photo of what we had.
I recently visited Korean Garden at Niagara Falls, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The service was quite poor slow and inattentive, making the entire dining experience frustrating. As for the food, it was even worse. The dishes were not well-cooked and lacked the authentic flavors you d expect from a Korean restaurant. To be honest, this was the worst Korean food I ve ever had. I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality meal. Definitely not worth the visit.
Very good!!!
We went there for dinner, and since there were no other customers, we almost left. However, since my kids were hungry, we decided to stay. I should have left at that point. The portion sizes were extremely small!! and we were charged $4 for a bowl of rice that was only enough for about three spoonfuls. I also ordered budae jjigae, but the ham had a terrible smell, and the entire dish had a foul odor. We ended up eating mostly just the rice. When I mentioned the issues while paying, the staff simply said, Oh, I m sorry, and that was it. It was clear they were aware of the problems with the food. This was the worst dining experience I ve had, and even if I were starving, I would never want to return due to the poor food and service. And also, automatic gratuity of 20% for zero service, with no explain at all.
We had the Beef Bulgogi soup and Ukgaejang soup and both were delicious and savory.
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, the food was tasty, we had kimchi soup, tofu soup, and one of the pork dishes. They did include a 20% gratuity.
The price over the food
The Kimchi jeon is one of my favourite Korean dish. Crispy out layer with soft inside with kimchi in it, mouthwatering keeps going on. I love other dishes like Dakgalbi, and Yukgejang as well. The price of each dish is not that expensive as to other restaurant.
No matter how much you crave Korean food, this is a place you shouldn t go to. There seems to be a Korean in the kitchen, but the food is so bad.
Phenomenal! Friendly, helpful staff, very nice atmosphere and the food is delicious! We will be back!
We went there for dinner during our recent trip of Niagara Falls. We had a great time. The food was excellent and cheap and came in good portions, the staff were friendly, and the ambiance was very nice. We will go there again if we visit the area again.
Nice Korean restaurant and everything was great. Very friendly staff and they also sell Merona.
Very good
A Korean restaurant near Niagara Falls while traveling in Toronto. The food was really delicious.
The pork bone soup was amazing. Fall off the bone tender with a savory broth. So good!
Koreans shouldn t do this to each other! Do tourists look like thugs? Jjamppong is ramen jjamppong, Yukgaejang is ramen broth... The price is $20.00+ in Canada?? Actually, I wanted to come out, but since we were fellow Koreans, we ate... There were grains of rice stuck to the cup, and they gave me the Nepkin that fell on the ground to be reused... Although I have been producing in the US for over 30 years, this is the first time Koreans have treated me like this. Im disappointed... Please dont do business like this... Im so disappointed...
Stopped by here for dinner, wanting to try something different. Was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, excellent flavor! The service was quick and friendly. Id recommend this place when visiting Niagara Falls.
Staff is great. Delicious food and a hidden gem!
Automatic gratuity of 20% for zero service. Food was so average - I really question what other reviewers mean by authentic Korean food. Maybe I m being too picky and have been spoiled by big city options in Korean food, but we got only two small dishes of sides (fish cake and kimchi) for a group of six. Also, the dolsot beef bibimbap came with lettuce instead of spinach and zucchini, none/very little seaweed, and the beef was basically ground beef that lacked flavoured. The only saving grace of the dish was the watered down gochujang. The budaejigae was mostly broth, too. Disappointed all around considering most menu items, including the bibimbap, started at $19.00CAD.
Writing this while eating here. Ordered the pork belly and mixed seafood fried rice along with a bottle of soju. This place is a tourist trap. Drive past it for a few minutes for better options down the road. Pro: Fast service Cons: Everything else ! The portions were a joke. The price point Is way more than this place deserves. The sea food fried rice had 2 shrimp, 2 ring of calamari, 2 pieces of clams and loads of onions. Pork belly was bland and tough served on a bed of sliced onions and a side of rice. The soju was the regular soju that you get at every other Korean restaurant for much lesser.
Worst. It wasnt very good. The seafood pancake had as little seafood as a snot and was full of flour and oil. I didnt even eat two pieces, but I felt bloated. But the price was over $20. I was so hungry that I would have ate as much as I could, but the food here was really hard to eat. I was upset on the way out. If possible, dont go.
The price is reasonable but the contents are poor.
The foods were so delicious. Especially bone soup, kimchi stew, tofu stew, I cant forget them!!!
So cute the staff and food were great. Was excited that they carried makgeolli. My mom got bibimbap which had shitake mushrooms and I got the black bean noodles. The kimchi side dishes were also on point.
The best Korean food around!
Kimchi stew and black bean noodles are so delicious.
Delicious food, kind and friendly service and a very healing atmosphere, I highly recommend it!
It tastes just like Korea. They re kind.
Its a nice, friendly, and quiet restaurant. Soft tofu stew. Kimchi gospel rice. Dongtaetang I really enjoyed it fatigue from travel Its completely resolved. Highly recommended!!!!!
Small amount of food and salt bomb... Two side dishes: oden and kimchi. You must also pay a group tip. Go somewhere else.
I came when I was missing Korean food and enjoyed it so much. The bone haejangguk and budae stew were all delicious and my child enjoyed the udon noodles.
Its been a while since I traveled to the East and Ive had Korean food! It was so so so delicious!!!!! Its the best!!! The owner is also very kind. Ill come again^^
If you are looking for some good korean comfort food, this is THE place! The owner here and the staffs are very friendly and makes you feel at home. Im glad I found the place to visit when I come to the falls:) would definitely recommend!
Amazing place to dine in, highly recommended!
wonderful environment and food
Second time here, highly recommended! The restaurant is cute and food is great!
Great place for authentic Korean food! Had to go back the next day to get another Kimchi stew. Highly recommend for anyone who wants high quality Korean food!!
Its unfriendly~
It seems like they are just imitating Korean food. There was too much rice, like a whole onion in the soft tofu stew, and almost no soft tofu. Not recommended except for being close to the waterfall.
The food was tasty. Kimchi pancake was very good. The service was good. But for the box to take the food we needed to pay. The tip was taken ahead 20% (we were only 5 people) Parking: There is a parking near the restaurant
The store was so pretty and the food was so delicious. It reminded me a lot of Korean food and I enjoyed it so much!!
The authentic korean food restaurant! It is good when you travel with your korean parents :)
It was an amazing experience eating bone hangover soup in Niagara. Its even delicious ^^
Soft tofu. tteokbokki. Bibimbap. I had a delicious meal. I missed Korean food during my trip, but I enjoyed it warmly.
It was so good! Best Korean food I ve had in years!
The food tasted great
The food was so good and the atmosphere was nice too.
Amazing food, service and ambiance. We will definitely be back again.
Deeeeelish!! I had chicken bulgogi, and it was fantastic!
Authentic Korean food in town! It s the best! Service was great!
I understand that everything around Niagara Falls is overpriced, so I am rating purely based on the quality of food. (This restaurant was definitely overpriced, I expected the portion to be larger.) - Donkatsu - the pork cutlet was very very thin, barely any meat. - seafood pancake - it was mostly batter, and barely any green onions or leeks in it, as well as seafood. - yuk gae jang - I have never had one that did not have ferns in it, and it barely had any meat, no egg. It was a sad soup. - banchan side dishes in general were not good, and we only got two little dishes of it and the rice was overcooked and lumpy. (It stayed in clumped up chunks when put in soup) Important to note, they expect everyone to order a dish. I dislike restaurants that do this on principle because I usually split with my daughter. Overall, I think they could make significant improvements in flavor and amount of stuff that should go into these Korean dishes. It feels like in an effort to cut costs, not enough critical ingredients were added to many dishes.
if you want to go try their food because the pictures then don t go. The food they are serving doesn t look like the picture and taste just OK does not worth the price.
Best Korean fried chicken and jajangmeon I ve ever had! Staff was friendly and the place is very cute! I would highly recommend if you re in Niagara Falls!
It s gods to have Asian food near to Niagara Falls. However, the waiter looks nice and welcoming but not truly provided good service. The store didn t provide small side dishes to us. The story is another table asked for the side dishes and the waiter said, it will come with the main dishes. and, then he came to the kitchen and brought small dishes for that table. At that time, I had noticed that we didn t have side dishes even though we hade main dishes as he mentioned. I looked at him. He was also looking at our table and worried about what we heard from him. I didn t asked him for the side dishes, because I decided to give them bed reviews. If any customers came to the restaurant, please asked for the side dishes! It is come with the main dishes.
I had a great time eating it. They are friendly and the food tastes good.
I had dinner at Korean Garden yesterday and was really disappointed. I doubt who picked up the 4.2. I think the owner needs to think carefully.
Worst worst worst experience ever!!! One dish per person only allowed. If you want to save yourself some disappointment go somewhere else.
Quaint and comfortable restaurant with good Korean food
The stews were good, and portions left me satisfied. Make sure you indicate desired spice level. Its mom & pop type homestyle meals. Recommend the budae jjigae.
I really recommend kimchi stew. Of all the restaurants Ive visited in the last three years, the kimchi stew at this place was the most delicious. And the pork cutlet is really big. Its like the pork cutlet from an old Kyunghyang restaurant. If you ask for the sauce separately, you can eat it crispy. Water is provided free of charge and two side dishes are provided. Stir-fried fish cake and kimchi.
Horrible food Tiny portions Extremely over priced Food : 1/5
We ate here on the holidays and the menu was so pricey and the portions were so little for 45 bucks
Very good korean restaurant in the niagara area! Definitely recommend
Great food, friendly staff
Fast, friendly and delicious... just like me.
super kind staff, cute atmosphere, yummy food!
The atmosphere was very welcoming and so was the staff. Our server was very friendly and attentive to our table. The food was delicious, the best pork belly I ve ever had! I definitely recommend the pork belly and tteokbokki. Great selection of meals and soju.
I had an amazing experience at the Korean Garden thanks to the delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and incredible service. Our food was phenomenal; undeniably the best Korean food I ve ever had! Our server was very attentive and personable, enjoyed a fun conversation with him. I recommend going here and will definitely becoming back next time I am in Niagara.
The best Korean food that I have ever had! The pork belly and teokkbokki were especially delicious. The atmosphere was very welcoming and our server took care of us very kindly. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a relaxed dinner away from the busyness of the falls. Will definitely come again next time!
This restaurant is so amazing! Its nice and quiet, away from the city but very nice. The staff were amazing, very kind people! And dont get me started on the food! It was delicious, the presentation and the taste was great! 5 stars all the way!
Food ordered: soft tofu stew, kimchi stew, stir-fried pork Of these, the soft tofu stew was the most delicious (perhaps thanks to the seasoning), and the stir-fried pork was also delicious. However, in the kimchi stew, I was very concerned about the fishy smell of pork in the soup, so I left some of it out. The price range is higher than downtown, but the taste is slightly less than the price. Still, its worth stopping by if youre craving Korean food, so just choose the menu carefully!
Very nice place! I love the rice cakes
Good time!
best korean food ever
Its definitely one of the best Korean foods Ive had in Canada!! The bone haejangguk was very delicious haha. If you come to visit Niagara Falls, I recommend coming at least once for dinner.
Friendly price and delicious
Highly recommend if you re craving korean food in Niagara!
Two women ate three bowls of rice together. Its so so delicious
Authentic feel. A welcome break from the commercial feel restaurants of Niagara. Fairy lights. Warm feel. Really good fantastic food.
Wonderful restaurant! Very authentic Korean food. Staff were extremely friendly, food came fast and atmosphere is quaint and lovely. Highly recommend. Will definitely return next time I m in town. Thanks Food
An 18 minute walk from the incline railway, a scenic walk past the monastery vineyard, and you get to Korean Garden Restaurant. Food was good, and Shan was warm and welcoming.
Food is great same as costumer service
Very friendly staff, the price was very good and the quality and taste of the food was excellent.
It is the most delicious Korean restaurant in the Niagara tourist area and the atmosphere of the restaurant is as cozy as its name (garden). Highly recommended.
Great taste and great service. Prices are reasonable. Thank you. Food
Very good food, Shan is wonderful server.
Very good service. Food is delicious.
Delicious food, good service, friendly staff.
Great food. Service was excellent!
Very good food and friendly staff. Overall good :)
If you come to Niagara, be sure to visit. The location is good, parking is easy, the food is delicious, and the interior is pretty. I had budae stew, tteokbokki, ribs, and soft tofu, and they were all delicious. Friendly boss~ May you prosper ^^
Its been a long time since Ive been to Niagara, and it was so delicious! I had the seafood soft tofu stew and it was really delicious and I recommend it to everyone who comes! The owner was very friendly and I will come here every time I come to Niagara!
I came to see the waterfall and was looking for a Korean restaurant when I found it and came here. The food was delicious and they were friendly, so it was a very satisfying meal. I ordered LA ribs, soft tofu stew, and stir-fried pork. It was delicious. I recommend it. My grandmother really liked it.
The ribs were delicious haha
Good Korean food, tasty and rich in flavor. Vegetarian options: Veg options available Food : 5/5 |
Great place! Nice food. Enjoyed here a lot
I walked for 40 minutes and looked forward to delicious food. When I arrived, the owner said hello but then turned away. Im thirsty after walking from a distance, so I ask for water. (Customers who come in behind you should also ask for something different) While I was waiting after ordering a bottle of soju, the soju came out first, but what should I eat it with? It doesnt give anything. After a while, the Budae Jjigae came out. It was a little over 20 dollars and the ramen seemed to be about 1/4 piece (or 1/6) and when I tasted it, I thought they just soaked kimchi in water and added ham... and ham too. It smells a bit. Oh, but no side dishes are served? After eating about half of the bowl of rice, they gave me seasoned oden and kimchi. The taste was mediocre, and even though I ate all of the budae jjigae, I didnt feel like it was delicious at all. This is the first Korean restaurant Ive ever been to that didnt give a tip when leaving. Its a process, but the tip payment text is so ridiculous. It was that kind of evening. It was the worst restaurant I stayed in North America for 20 days. There should be one of these two Korean restaurants. Was it delicious or friendly.....
DONT GO HERE BE CAREFUL 20% tipmandatory THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE MACHINE/ BILL OF HOW MUCH YOU GONNA PAY WITHOUT GIVING THE RECEIPT FIRST. WATCH OUT FOR THE TIP BUT AGAIN YOU CAN ALWAYS ARGUE THEY WONt say its in their policy and you will be shocked its not in the law of ONTARIO TO REQUIRE U FOR THE TIP EVEN THE HIGH END RESTAURANTS DONT DO IT. I DONT TIP AT ALL BECAUSE I ARGUE I SAID ITS NOT IN THE LAW WHATEVER THEIR POLICE THEY DIDNT EVEN TOLD US FOOD- 1 Star the taste is NOTHING Ive been to a lot of koreans Restaurant especially in Toronto area and other reviews was right taste nothing. Maybe you gonna like it if this is the first korean restau u gonna try. OVERPRICED: Not presentable for the price , the side dishes and the TASTE definitely not worth it. But okay its in Niagara maybe thats why its over priced. TIP: BE CAREFUL WITH THESE IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 5 PPL YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PAY 20% Gratuity its in their MENU that I didnt see. BUT YEAH THATs their POLICY BUT NEVER IN ONTARIO LAW. SO I ARGUE WITH THEM SINCE Im not happy with the service at all, Btw I do eat in $$$ restaurants and they never wver required tip when I do tip $$$ depends on the service of course!! FEEL LIKE SCAM : FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE THAT I HEARD THAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BUY ONE DISH FOR EACH PERSON WE HAVE KIDS AGE 2-4-8 AND THEY EVEN REQUIRED TO JUST GET APPETIZERS. THIS IS THE ONLY RESTAURANT DO THIS SO BE CAREFUL ESPECIALLY IF YOURE IN A BUDGET. SERVICE: THEIR SERVER IS ANNOYING FORCING TO YOU TO BUY FOOD AS THEIR POLICY THEY SAID. MY BAG IS ON THE TABLE IN FRONT OF THE CHAIR THAT NO ONE IS SEATing He even bother to tell me can you put your bag down as if theres no other space for the food. ANNOYING. Because again never in my life asked me about my personal belongings I know when to put down my things if theres really no enough space. Need more customer training THE ONLY GOOD THING IN HERE IS NO PEOPLE AND THERES A PARKING ASIDE FROM THAT SERVICE FOOD I WILL RATE NEGATIVE ZERO. IF I WERE YOU GO TO SOMEWHERE ELSE ITs NOT WORTH IT
my grandparents new the old owners and they came all the time! we decided to go and it was delicious AMAZING dumplings and yummy rice cakes!
It s delicious, better than other Korean food I ve had in Toronto.
Decent environment and the server is attentive. The food is over priced and the taste is not impressive. For instance, we ordered a pork bone soup hotpot for 4 people, there is only four pieces of pork bone with no potatoes. The same trend carries over to other dishes. To make it worse, the rice was hard and dry. With rice cookers, it is difficult to screw up rice.
The food tastes below average. The rice cake was very plain and the sauce is extremely watery. And not sure how I would rate for the hotpot when they dont even have much ingredients in it... We have never had such a bad experience with a restaurant like this.... We understand that an increased in price would be reasonable in a tourist area. However, I would call this restaurant a scam. First, we order rice cake appetitizer($20) which only comes with about 12 small rice cake pieces. Then their Large pork bone hotpot ($55) which supposedly to feed 4 people only has 4 bones in it with no potato or other things. And same standard of quality carries on with their tofu stew that comes with 4 piece of tofu and with their budue hotpot ($45) that only has small amount of lunch meat and tofu. They didnt even put ramen noodle or other vegetables in any of the hotpot.I mean, If you consider onions as vegetables, then yeah there is onions. The food tastes below average. The rice cake was very plain and the sauce is extremely watery. And not sure how I would rate for the hotpot when they dont even have much ingredients in it...I would describe as very thin hotpot with lots of water/broth. We dont mind to pay extra for good food but not with this kind of quality and standard. Please reconsider going to this restaurant and enjoy your trip in Niagara!
Its better than the Bone Haejangguk restaurant that opened near my office last month. Haha, my brother who lives nearby recommended this place to me, so I went there and I think I understand why he recommended it. The water bottles and dishes are all Korean-style, and the water is free, which is nice. Haejangguk is slightly spicy. The japchae was not salty so it was okay as a meal.
I stopped by during a family trip. I visited this Korean restaurant for my parents during a long trip. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive!
The price was cheap and the owner seemed like a nice person so it was very comfortable. Song selection is also my favorite. Bone haejangguk recommended!! The price is reasonable, and the host is friendly and kind. You would like a playlist of songs if u have an interest in K-pop. Id like to recommend u pork bone soup called bbu haejang kuk.
Yummy food on a good price.
It was a great Korean restaurant! Every foods are awesome! Highly recommend to others who want to enjoy real Korean foods yummy!!! I wasnt feeling well during the trip, but after eating bone hangover soup and Korean food, my whole body felt warm!!! The food was all very delicious!!!!
Please dont come here. They charge extra 2 percent for visa payment and food is horrible
The Galbi was absolutely delicious!!!!! Would recommend, my first time trying different types of sojus, best korean restaurant
Korean Garden Restaurant is great place to eat Korean cuisine in Niagara reasion. Authentic Korean cuisines that taste homemade at a fair price. The owner is extremely friendly, generous and attentive. Very comfortable atmosphere and staff are so friendly. I ordered Gamjatang(Pork Backbone Stew). The portions are huge and it is one of my best Gamjatang ever. I also made it to go for my family. They loved it so much. There are plenty of parking spaces(free). It is very near Niagara Falls but not a busy area. Super highly recommend this place. Parking: Plenty of space even bus.
At first, I was hesitant to go because there were good reviews and bad reviews, but after eating for the first time, I went 3 days in a row. Since I went there for three days in a row, they even gave me whole chamnamul that they had grown themselves as a service. They are so kind and the bone haejangguk, beef stew, and kimchi stew are really delicious. I live in the U.S. and know that prices in the U.S. and Canada are expensive, so I didnt feel like it was expensive, but tourists from Korea may feel its expensive, but other places are also expensive, so I highly recommend going there at least once and eating Korean food.
Horrible dinning experience. Don t go if you have more than 4 ppl. You are required to order min 1 dish per person. When ask for extra side dishes, we were told it was sold out. Boss lady was serving anger face each time our dishes were bought over. Felt very uncomfortable dining there. The dishes were less portion than expected.
We got our food right away! Very delicious!
Not great quality food or service. The portions were small and very expensive.
Sean is good
The Best Korean Restaurant. Sean is the best!!!
The food and service was amazing Sean was the best
It is excellent customer service. It is a bit far from a tourist area. But I recommend this place who are looking for the traditional korean food.
I wish I could give 0 star. Worst food and service ever. Main meal doesn t come a long with rice, so we ordered extra 4 bowls of rice. It was lukewarm so told them can I get a warm rice. In later came with heat it up. Once I had a bite it smells sucks. Rice was way too old and smells sour. I m saying it cost $16 for rice. What they called seafood pancake, there was no scallions. Squid gone bad for a long time, I told them it s rotten. Returning respond was she would check to kitchen and make new one. Don t you think you should ve said at least sorry? Plz do not go there. And shame on you!
Bad eats, bad customer service, everything is so bad. NO CAP. They even charged 20% Tip and 2 more type of fees with this bad service!!!
Not recommended. A big spring came out in the rice. Better go somewhere else and eat meat. Jjajangmyeon: It seemed to go bad as soon as I ate it, so I asked the staff and they said it was because they added too much vinegar. They did it again, and it was okay to do it again. It tasted completely different from the previous one. Budae Jjigae: This is my first time seeing springs coming out of rice I told you, why is that there? And there was no mention. The stir-fried chicken ribs were delicious. There was hair... Its so sad... I dont know about the taste, but please pay a little more attention to hygiene.
Korean comfort food spot with great food and service. Kid-friendliness: My 7 year old wanted to give 10 stars. Food : 5/5 |
Food came out almost instantly, and tasted great. Awesome.
There were empty seats left, so they didnt let me sit where I wanted, so my family of four, including the little one, went for a quick meal and ordered 3 servings. They told us to order 1 per person and asked us to give them the Wi-Fi password, but they didnt even think about it and said they didnt know. It was the worst restaurant of my life! Since I was traveling with my family, I didnt want to get upset so I held back and left, but this is a restaurant I dont want to go to again. The food is also not very good.
It wasnt expensive for Canada, and the service was quick and delicious. Bone hangover soup tastes like Korea. It was all delicious.
Absolutely a bad place to have meal there!!! They charged extra fees without giving you a notice and arbitrarily charged you at least 18% service fee. I Definitely will not come for second time. Poor vibe there.
If you re visiting Niagara Falls and craving authentic Korean food, Korean Garden is a good option to consider. Conveniently located, it is only a brief five-minute drive from the falls, making it an accessible dining choice. To start off, I had a Korean Hot Dog ($10), contrary to its name, it wasnt a traditional hot dog but rather a breaded cheese on a stick with chunks of potato. It was an intriguing twist on the conventional hot dog, offering a unique taste experience. My only critique of this dish was its size; it was so delicious that I couldn t help but wish for a larger portion, especially for that price. Next, I tried Rose Rice Cake ($20) and as a Tteokbokki enthusiast, this dish didn t let me down. It was flavourful as expected. The generous portion size was meant to be shared as an appetizer. The Galbi ($29), a dish of BBQ beef short ribs marinated in a special sauce and served alongside rice, was another standout item on the menu. As with any Korean meal, we were served side dishes (banchan) to accompany our meal. The kimchi is always a delight but what piqued my interest was the fish cake side dish which worked well with the rice cake. I ended up ordering a Korean coffee ($5) to go as well. On a snowy Tuesday, the place was vacant with convenient parking. Its comforting interior decor, Korean ballade music in the background, and chill vibes added to the lovely restaurant ambiance.
Ordered spicy chicken for lunch and chicken was not fresh at all. Food portion was getting smaller than it was before Covid. Not recommended any more.
Authentic and and delicious food! Perfect place to grab a bite after walking and exploring all morning
This is a Korean restaurant located just 5 minutes away from Niagara Falls. Bone haejangguk was delicious. It was nice that the staff was so friendly ^^
Food was OK. Spare ribs had to much fat and a bit tough. Service was good cause me and my wife were the only one there but overpriced.
A restaurant I visited on purpose. I dont think Ill ever want to go again. Restaurant where you dont want to tip Im depressed. Its just expensive.
The food was alright, the restaurant is pretty nice. The thing that bothered me the most was the automatic 20% tip. Especially since there was a spider in my food and I had to wait for them to get me a new plate. I ve never been to a restaurant before that made tipping mandatory.
I only ate the pizza chicken and then the soft tofu stew. It was so delicious that I ordered more rice. If you want to eat refreshing Korean food, definitely eat here. They have a lot of menus. I dont have any pictures because I ate it so quickly.
The tofu soup but really yummy... I would surely recommend this place. I had the Korean corn dog as well... Food : 4/5
I stopped by because I was so excited for Korean food after seeing Niagara Falls, but it exceeded my expectations. The owner is also very kind haha. Thanks to him, I was able to heal in the middle of the trip~
Their Bone soup was the best I ever had! I wish I live close by.
In menu, It says 2-3 people each one order of hotpot. It feeds one male only. Small dishes free , but one for each person . Very very small! Not worth the price.
I found it by chance while passing by, and it was really delicious!!! Highly recommended!!!
After seeing Niagara Falls, take the Wego bus (blue line) at the Table Rock Welcome Center and get off at the Convention Center. Walk for about 8 minutes to find a restaurant. I ate bone haejangguk and kimchi fried rice. I really, really didnt expect much, but it was so delicious. I think I will visit again if I come to see Niagara Falls again
Love coming here. Very reminiscent of restaurants Ive been to in Korea. Food is amazing and the staff are lovely.
Yummy food. Pork bone soup was tasty. Service was fine. Food
Friendly and delicious home-cooked food! M.K.
I ordered kimchi, soybean paste stew, and bibimbap, and it was so delicious that it was comparable to what I eat in Korea. The kimchi that came as a side dish was good. The owner was also friendly, so I think Ill visit again the next time I visit Niagara.
This is the best Korean restaurant Ive ever experience in Niagara region. Highly recommend!
The portion is super small. Other peoples pork bone soup has 4 bones, but his only has 1.5. The taste is only salty and not like Korean pork bone soup at all. The most outrageous thing is that there is an additional 20% service charge for more than five people. Fee, this is the rhythm of chasing customers. There are only two side dishes, and one of them, kimchi, tastes like over-fermentation. There is no way to give zero points, so I gave it one point. Compatriots, never go here! !
Best food and best price and best service! Would come back 100 percent 10/10
Great place to dine in, the food was amazing and the staff were top notch. I would highly recommend.
While traveling in the U.S., I toured Niagara, Canada. I kept eating American food, but I missed Korean food, so I searched and visited the Korean restaurant Jeongwon. It feels friendly right from the entrance. I feel refreshed after speaking in Korean for the first time in a while. The interior was decorated cutely like a cafe and the atmosphere was warm. Kimchi stew Bibimbap Everything is delicious Do you feel like your stomach has been cleared by bread? ^^ It tastes even better because it tastes like what I ate locally. I was grateful that the owner was kind and explained in detail about restaurants and cafes with great views near Niagara. Next time I come to this area, I definitely want to visit. Thank you~*
The servers were fantastic, The food was great and various Good atmosphere with beautiful decorations and great music. Food : 5/5
Its delicious. Nice restaurant. Food
Best korean food ive tried in Niagara region, pork bone soup reminded me korea
Friendly staff in a small but cozy atmosphere! Food is well portioned for price and very tasty.
Taste is good but price is kinda expensive. We ordered spicy beef soup, only 5small pieces of beef included. It s not worth it u don t get how much u paid.
