Over the past 50 years, Denny’s Restaurant in Niagara Falls has been bringing on the day with round-the-clock breakfast and casual family dining. From our customers to our employees, Denny's family is diverse in many ways. We're a group of different people with different beliefs and different perspectives and although we are unique, we all share the same commitment to customer service and quality.
The waitress was nice and the water tasted good. The food was absolutely bland. So expensive. I feel this place is robbery. So upset with this food and having to pay for this. No seasoning. No sauce. Look how dull it looks even. $30 for this gross food
Was really disappointed with the quality of the food. Eggs were covered in dirty grease, hashbrown was uncooked and bland. The omelette was bitter. Only thing that was acceptable were the French toast and pancakes. Presentation wise, it was not appetizing at all. Waited for 40 min before our food came and when speaking to a manager the reply was, "it's come when it comes, it's a busy kitchen." But tables that arrived after us had received their food prior to us. Menu is overpriced and not worth the value.
Certainly! HI recently had breakfast at the Denny’s located at the Howard Johnson Plaza by Wyndham by the Falls, and it was an enjoyable start to the day! I ordered the Brioche French Toast Slam, which came with fluffy, golden brioche French toast, eggs cooked to perfection, and a choice of delicious sausage or bacon. The French toast had the perfect hint of sweetness and paired wonderfully with the warm syrup. The service was friendly and attentive, making sure our coffee cups were always filled. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the Niagara Falls area looking for a hearty breakfast.
Breakfast at Denny's is quite a delight. The food is really good and the service is great too. No wonder it's a favourite among the locals. We had a couple of breakfast options and we all enjoyed our meals. Mine came with the fruits bowl which was definitely the highlight of my breakfast. The ambience is quite okay, nothing glamorous but just usual and mostly crowded in the mornings while everyone is trying to get their first meal of the day. This outlet is just down the road from the Niagara Park and you can see the Sky wheel from within the eatery. What a view! We've had breakfast 🥞🍳 in this branch of Denny's while going to Niagra Falls. The breakfast wasn't that great. The service was quite nice though. The prices were awful. They were charging 2x of regular price just because it's a tourist place and there's seasonality. But there aren't much options nearby.
I'm going to be up front and just say the food was awful and was at an unjustifiable price. Denny's Benny tasted like nothing. The hollandaise sauce tasted suspiciously like Cheez Whiz (because it probably was...), the "Ultimate Omelette" was an ultimate disappointment, the eggs for sure are not real eggs, sausages didn't taste like meat, the "veggies" was a tablespoon of raw diced tomatoes, the hashbrowns tasted like cold cardboard, the "maple syrup" tasted like diluted sugar extract which is disappointing, cuz like if you're gonna open shop on the Canadian side, why not invest in local real maple syrup instead of this liquid diabetes, hmm? The only redeeming dish was the Santa Fe, which was served on a sizzling hot plate. The atmosphere is very warm and definitely a family-friendly restaurant. The service is the only reason I didn't give a 1-star, and it's because the waittress had a great sense of humour and kept the coffee refills coming in a timely manner. As for whether or not I would come again, no way. I've been spoiled by real brunch at reasonable prices elsewhere. I generally don't like leaving negative reviews, but let's just say I had to walk off a stomach full of cardboard. Side note for future risk takers that if the server recommends the potatoes over the hashbrowns, LISTEN TO HER.
I have been to several locations and this Denny’s is such a huge disappointment! The food was half cooked, ordered a grand slam and the food was cold!! The place was empty the time stamps are in the picture of the receipt. We waited over 15mins for a server. We waited 20mins for the food. The hash brown came after all the other food. There was no water provided unless we asked for it. There were no plates provided unless we asked for it. Terrible standards!! Is this the Denny’s we know and love! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME GOING TO THIS DENNYS!
Typical high-quality fare. Their pancake is delicious; it's fluffy and flavorful. The kids' meals are tasty. Nahir served with warmth and friendliness. Parking for 1 hour is free.
Was my first time at a Denny s. Walked in through the front door and first thing I noticed is, no one was at there to greet us. We waited about 5 min. And then I started calling down the hall for an attendant. We were FINALLY seated after 10 mins of waiting in an empty restaurant lobby. The dining room was a ghost town too. Only ONE other family was there. After being seated we Waited 30 MIN (ridiculous) for the server (Mid-day on a Friday). The atmosphere was very dull and depressing plus there were flies buzzing about the dining room. You can hear the current as the light flickers. There was even any music lol. The general manager stood idle and even watched us wait... idk if they re racist, lazy or challenged. He didn t even come and ask us if we wanted water. He just stared. I heard the other family complain about the food quality after them having to wait 40 minutes! I made up my mind. We left. The General manager watched us leave and didn t even say a word the entire time. What a shame. Most non existent service ever. Just demolish the miserable thing and put up another TGI Fridays or something. You would think this place was a prank set up, with hidden cameras all around. I do not leave one star reviews but this one deserved it. Unbelievable.
It was surprisingly delicious. The staff were friendly and provided great service. For a simple brunch, it was quite satisfying. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was perfect for a light, enjoyable meal. I would recommend it if you re looking for a casual spot to eat. Vegetarian options: Ask staff
Great comfort food. A lot in the plates! Good prices and service too! Food
This place made my skin crawl. Also so much more expensive than any other Denny s location; the food also tasted super stale and the drinking glasses were not clean. AVOID.
A great place to grab breakfast when in Niagara Falls. Ample parking spot. Menu has many options to chose from. Portion size is huge. Service is good.
Prices are outrageous be sure to check out the menu online for prices at that particular location. The staff seem friendly enough.
Very expensive. Got to Bettys in, just out side of niagara falls.
Amazing food. Open late! The employees are super nice! It did take a little long for our food especially for being empty in the restaurant but it was worth the wait! Second time I had breakfast and it was super quick and well made! Service was great! Will definitely be returning more often!
Terrible
Love Dennys
My wife and I made a recent visit here and had a great experience! Since most of the dennys have closed in NY it was almost nostalgic. Everything was as expected, food was on point, service was good and attentive, and the price honestly was fair and comparable...yea may have been a couple bucks more but not enough to raise a brow. Id definitely go back!
That place make me feel really good Julia she did amazing job on the receptions is a great reception over there and they Make we feel in Home thank you very much guys. God bless everyone.
Expensive not very good
Skillet was good.. wifes plate was so so.. bacon was overcooked and very salty
Waiter not smart. Need to constantly ask. See kids and still bring heavy ceramic plates. Asked for plastic bowl and utensil was told none. Need to then ask for disposable utensils.
Came here for late night eats with a group of friends and we were shocked at how expensive the food was especially considered the quality. My friend ordered a burger with seasoned fries, it s an extra $3 to add seasoning and the fries came out plain. My friend ordered the taters and asked if it was a half size and the waitress said yes, when she got them they were plain taters and cost $16.99 whereas the fully loaded were $19.99. She was surprised at the price considering she was under the impression of something else. Overall, I think the food is a rip off, the waitress was friendly but not knowledgeable about the menu.
Great service, the food was on time and tasted good. 5 stars
Overall 1 star because the manager would not honor a $35 off coupon. Even though they were in the wrong, he would not even give us a 10% of some token discount. Food was fine but all soured over this manager who seems to have no clue how to be a manager in the service industry. 4 stars for the restaurant, -1 star for the inflexible manager who really should be fired.
Our server Holly D was incredibly rude from the start. She straight away asked if our group of 3 were paying together or separate and rolled her eyes when we said separate. When ordering food and wanting to switch one item she very rudely told us we can t do that. A situation that could ve been calmly explained she gave a lot of attitude. She never came to check on us once of how the food was or if drinks could be refilled. Then when being billed she repeated multiple times where we could tip. Awful server.
Always our last stop before braving the long lines over the Rainbow bridge into the USA. Service is quick, the food is okay, and it s very loud because the place is always packed. Great for families.
Greasy, lacks flavour, and very salty. Way overpriced. Very disappointing. Nothing like Dennys in the USA.
Very expensive for what you get.
Food was ok but service was great Vegetarian options: Yes Parking: Limited Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Food was burnt, eggs were a disappointment I feel ripped off. Don t come here
We had a very pleasant waitress today. Thank you Amneet for making our visit so pleasant. Great food and awesome service.
Will never go back here. Went here yesterday morning for my moms birthday. We came all the way from Milton and Hamilton. First of all the person that will sit you is completely rude. Shes not approachable & friendly at all. Second this place is dirty. High chairs and floor has stinking smell. Third our server is rush us like Shes going somewhere. We didnt even fully sit down and asking us for our drinks and orders. Im server and manager this is not professional at all. Then me and my mom got coffee so disappointing how theyre only giving 3 cream per person does not even offer if we want more. Didnt even check how the food was. Theyre completely rude to customers. We then finished eating as a server I know how it is to clean my own table and organize our dirty dishes. Server did not even bother to say thank you for helping them doing their job. Took out place and ask if we already want our bills. I always tips but this time its the worst service and food is decent not as good. Will not gonna come back here ever.
Potatoes were burnt
terrible service, manager and food.
Terrible service, 0 management capability hiding behind corporate policy instead of managing a business like a real person. And for the price the food is okay at best. Tim Hortons would serve you better honestly and theyre awful. What you make an exception 1 time for someone to order off a kids menu and is the police going to come and arrest you? Dennys corporate spies hiding in the diner? Undercover boss canada Dennys edition? What a joke. A real manager would manage not try to squeeze every extra dollar from someone. 5 50 for an apple juice? Tourist prices go somewhere else
The prices are ridiculous. $9.38 for 2 coffees? Really? The waitress (Sherri) was really the only good in this review. Eggs, hash browns under cooked, but too hungry to complain. I dropped $70.++ for 2 all American breakfast. Fool me once.
Wont even let you use the toilet unless your a customer...
Its overly busy packed... not like the ones Im used to here in Texas. It is what it is.
Pancakes were tasty :)
Way over priced 65$ for 2 breakfast 2 coffees ... was still hungry leaving.. dont waste your money
The location was clean and the wait staff very friendly. A pleasant breakfast atmosphere. The food is Dennys typical fare - excellent pancakes.
2024.09 The meal was pretty good. It feels like many male waiters are just standing there chatting...
Staying in the hotel next door. We came here for some lunch before going to the falls. My wife ordered the new Mac and Cheese Brisket skillet for $30 wow. Got our food. The Mac and cheese barely covered the bottom of the skillet with 5 pieces of Brisket ends. We mentioned it to our server who brought over the manager. We informed the manager that the portion was ridiculous for charging $30 for. The manager offered some more mac and cheese to my wife which she accepted. The manager came back a few moments later and stated that the general manager would not allow more mac and cheese but would offer potatoes. Over priced way to much and the skillets stay away from them if you are hungry. The only reason I am giving a 3 is the burger I had was good.
We found it an overpriced breakfast (meals on average 24 dollars per person) big portions, but very low quality food. However, the place does have old school American cafeteria vibe. If you are a tourist from outside north America, its worth to visit 1 time.
Food was cold and hair in food
DISGUSTING. Thats how I am going to describe my food today at Denys. We found hair in 2 of our plates!!! 2 not 1 The hair was stuck in the egg and it was just disgusting. Food
The pancakes here are delicious, and the staff is very nice too.
Classic Dennys. Easily accessible. You get your breakfast quickly. The selection is always very similar to that in other stores. The service was very nice, but didnt really listen to the order. It was actually very loud and noisy, which didnt make it particularly pleasant. Have eaten better before. Was ok.
We went on Sept 28 2024 here at niagra falls Canada at 1 pm, the sever (brown guy) is so bad we already gave the tip and he ask for more tips and he said that the tips will also goes to the kitchen staff which is so odd and he said it is mandatory. Also the hashbrown is burned its bitter taste. I will not recommend to eat there.
We ate in for breakfast and everything was cold. The crepes were cold, everything tasted like it had been sitting in a container for hours. Hash browns were undercooked. On the plus side, it only took 10 minutes for our entire order to come out. The waitress seemed unhappy. We were in and out in like 35 minutes. Overpriced imo. $40 for cold breakfast with a grumpy waitress.
No complaints! Conveniently by my hotel which we got a coupon to save some money.
FALSE MENU ADVERTISING!! I rarely write reviews, even if I have a rough experience somewhere, but I just can t stay quiet about this. After ordering, my food came out in 5 minutes, ice cold. I m convinced they have a buffet line in the kitchen and just scoop plates together as orders come in. I ordered one meal, the Berry Vanilla Crepe Breakfast, and a coffee. My bill was over $40, just for me! Ill share a picture of my cold crepes, which were absolutely disgusting, loaded with what seemed like half a pound of some weird, cheap Cool Whip filling and a soupy sauce. I ve never been more disappointed in my life.
Overpriced!!!!, white toasts soggy, sausage not even cooked, waitress was meh with attitude, first and last time for me Im sorry to say ....
I read the reviews before I came here and should have listened. Everything that these previous reviews say about the food are absolutely 100 percent true. Unfortunately I came here with my family thinking maybe some of the reviews were done by people that just had a one off experience and unfortunately I was mistaken. The shredded hashbrowns were undercooked they were white with some small brown pieces they were chewy not crispy. So gross! The eggs had slime in them from being undercooked. I asked for the bacon well done and it was rubbery. The bill for 4 people came to $115 for 3 adults and 1 child. I have never paid for a breakfast this expensive that had absolutely no flavour at all. It was terrible! Please save your money and believe these reviews! The restaurant is also cluttered and dark. Do not eat here. Expensive and gross! I just want to add that our waiter was nice it wasn t his fault! He just works there.
Ordered oreo milkshake i loveddddd it perfect thickness. Had pancakes double berries and banana it was yummy also the sausage, hash browns and ham everything else was good
Way more expensive than I remember could have eaten at a better place for less
This is their famous hash brown. Looks like my kid s food from the toy kitchen.
When for a breakfast this morning me and my husband Cathy was our server which she provided excellent customer service and friendly atmosphere. She made sure we were satisfied with our food and kept checking in on us to make sure we were ok and comfortable. Thank you
The worst dennys restaurant Ive been to. The food is cold, the coffee mugs are dirty, yikes. I have to ask them to change it and give me new one. I ordered eggs Benedict with ham, it was so dry the hashbrowns are still white and cold. I will never come back here again! I wish I could put 0 star
dirty cups ,food cold, creps looked like they were pre done as a chef i would never feed this food to no one Dennys should come in and fix this place
The food and service here are both excellent, and the decor is retro and neat to look at! The only thing keeping this from a five-star review is the price, as its a wee bit high, even for Niagara Falls. Other than that, a great experience!
Service was ok. Food came out cold and not all that great for the price. Bacon was almost see thru how thin it was. Shredded hash browns were not very evenly cooked and scrambled eggs almost tasted like they were box eggs. One good thing was coffee was hot and waiter was half decent.
Beware! This is a privately owned Dennys and the food & suppliers are not the same as other Dennys. My food was absolutely terrible. Everything from the eggs that I sent back, dried out and cold, the undercooked bacon and the hash browns. My hash browns were burnt in places but still undercooked in others. The server told me thats just how they are because thats the brand they get. She then explained that a lot of their products are different because theyre from different suppliers. The server was nice and tried her hardest to make things right unfortunately, the food was absolutely terrible. I love Dennys but this location should be shut down by head office before they loose more customers. Do not eat here unless youre okay to be disappointed.
We got the All American breakfast and moon over myhammy. Both were blah, hashbrowns not very good. Prices VERY HIGH. No AARP discount.
The food is not what I expect of a Denny s restaurant. The hashbrown looks like a shredded potato salad and doesnt taste like one. The pancakes doest taste like the ones we always ordered in different Denny s stores. The pasta was too dry. have to look again if we are actually at Denny s as it s never the standard of Denny s restaurants I tried in Mississauga, Ottawa and in the USA. This branch is a fake?
Compared to other Dennys the food here is not as good and expensive too. The servers we re nice though
Always a great meal and memories. Parking: Not too bad Food : 5/5 |
Standard breakfast/brunch fare. Service was above par. Decent portions.
It s very ordinary. It s a brunch that you can make at home without any technical skills. The advantage is that you can park for free. The staff at the Starbucks opposite are very nice and enthusiastic.
They have such bad customer service I just I ask for washroom they always make ascusse all time
Why did my Strawberry Vanilla Crepes come out with a long black hair on it? Sure I didn t complain and threw it away myself. But why does the crepe now look like a popped cottage cheese cyst?
This was our first time visiting Dennys. Positively surprised. Sandwich was very fresh and tasted great. All staff are friendly.
Good place to visit with family, the food is good.
We came here for free birthday breakfast, we didnt read the fine print on the website saying that this location didnt offer that (which is stupid) after the waiter told us we still ordered drinks but before she dropped them off we decided we would just go to another place, the waiter kinda got offended, we werent angry just said we was gonna go to another location and that it was are fault to not look, we wait 25 minutes!!! For the bill which only had a coffee and a pop which was 11$!!! That was kinda the last straw, I can go to McDonalds and get a coffee and pop for no more then 4$ Not a good start to a birthday morning Definitely will be going to a different location next time
Ridiculously overpriced and the food is awful. Seriously AWFUL.
Very gross place and they ignore you because they dont speak english.... 26 bucks for a club sandwich ... the place was so dirty tho .... just dont go.... we left in the end without ordering anything ....
I was not impressed with my hash browns they tasted like dirt, everything else was ok.
WORST BREAKFAST EVER! My first visit to a Denny s was on July 30th for breakfast during an overnight visit to Niagara Falls, Canada. My husband had enjoyed many meals at other Denny s locations in the US, so we didn t bother to check online reviews in advance huge mistake! Service was good but the food was atrocious! The oatmeal was cold and so glutinous, we could stand a fork in it and was served without brown sugar or milk. The toast was stone cold, soggy and chewy even a five year old could make better toast! We notified the waitress who offered to bring us fresh toast however, the replacement order had been fried on the flat top grill! It was hot at least but I guess they re kitchen staff don t know how to operate a toaster?! The three measly strips of bacon were thin, fatty and cold. The pancakes were barely warm and semi-rigid, with only the fried eggs being acceptable. The $7.79 strawberry smoothie was meh , made with synthetic strawberry flavouring which was pathetic, compared to McDonald s $4.09 offering containing real fruit. We spoke with the duty manager, who witnessed the poor quality and presentation of the food that we were served and she, herself was not impressed. She also noted, as we pointed out to her, that several other tables had left much of their food on their plates likely too polite to say anything. Three other comments of note the restaurant was somewhat warm as the air conditioning was being repaired and secondly, we were not offered the 55+ menu. The last item to note is that the restaurant appears not to be abiding by the Ontario Government s legislation, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act , 2005, S.O. 2005 c.11. This act clarifies the requirements of businesses offering public services. To this end, the automatic door opening device was inoperable and there were no grab bars in the men s room. Granted, the DM was understanding and did not charge us for our food which was appreciated, however, management needs to recognize these shortcomings as DENNYS CORPORATE would not take too kindly to such shameful subpar offerings in one of their establishments. At the same time, Niagara Falls, Canada is a world class tourist destination and should not be judged by this failing hospitality provider. To be clear, we travel globally and dine in a wide range of restaurants and this Denny s location has serious food quality issues which should not be ignored.
Too expensive for a lunch for two people ($90)
Very good but very very expensive in this tourist town.
Very expensive
Its a fair dining experience, but it comes with a few caveats. The food is satisfying but nothing extraordinary. The portions are okay, not too large but enough to fill you up. However, the prices are steep for what you get, especially considering the quality. On the bright side, the service we got was good, although nothing special. Overall, its a good option if youre staying in a nearby hotel, but be prepared to pay a bit more than you might elsewhere for a similar meal.
Great breakfast! Loved it and Great value too.
Value is not the same as it once was. Family of 5 with standard breakfast, no add-ons was $160
It is a well known name but compared to other breakfast places, it needs to level up the offering, an A experience that could easily be an A+ with small changes
Nice please . Delicious food. Good service .
Really bad experience. Really expensive ...2 eggs, 4 toast, 2 strip of bacon ( see through) = $19.99 + $ 4.99 x coffee. In a way you dont have the chance of getting something different, either you choose what they have on the menu ( noting less than $24.99 + coffee at $ 4.99) or you need to get a loan .
The food was cold, not warm. The waitress was friendly.
Great breakfast place. Great food.
Ordered over medium eggs and got seriously undercooked eggs, not sure they were even in the frying pan at all. Might as well have just cracked them right onto the plate. Absolutely disgusting.
Great for breakfast and lunch
Very friendly staff
Very expensive and food was not served hot and burnt bread & potatoes. Pancake was soggy not fluffy at all. Poor breakfast. Spent $80 for 2 adults & 2 kids..
Food is just disgusting, undercooked, especially the sausages and hash brown. There is no quality in food. Everything came out just warm but more cold than warm. Places like these should just close down and start offering people real food and healthier choices.
Of my favorites.
Service was great, and so is the food.
We didnt have a problem with this place until we just stepped outside after eating and my friend needs to take his meds, we asked for a cup of water so that he can take his pills. The lady on the front said that they cannot give us a cup of water. We have to pay around $3.00 for it. I mean, we just spent almost $150 plus tip there and you cannot spare us a cup of water for my friend to take his pills??? I mean, cmon! This happened around 11:45am to 12pm September 9, 2025.
Busy
Good American pancakes and, of course, excellent Canadian maple syrup.
A great place to grab a good breakfast.
Had a good meal here with friendy service, no complaints.
Omg, that was the best breakfast I ve had in a very long time. Ultimate omelet.
Had lunch here all three of us paid cash server did not ask if we would like our change just took it. Had breakfast server Cathy extremely rude, she should be washing dishes not serving customers, went to complain to her manager about her attitude she went to the manager after I did, well she must be guilty since she knew I was complaining about her. Will not go back to this restaurant. Menu dirty and sticky. Good food but poor service. Parking: no issues
The food was your average Dennys food service was great but found it to be a little bit expensive. Having said that it is smack dab in the middle of a tourist area
We went to Dennys over the weekend and we loved it! The waiter was very pleasant and was prompt with the service. The food was amazing as always but we were a bit disappointed that this location does not offer seniors discounts. We chose to come to Dennys because of this but unfortunately they dont but other Dennys offer it.
Resturant was cold as well as the food. Didnt have much taste. Speed of service was ok but when I asked for a price of strawberries on the side what i was told was less than what I was actually charged. When I asked the waiter why is it more he said no thats what he said. My fiance was with me when I asked the question, the waiter lied. It was $1 more no big deal but I dont appreciate him lying about what he initially said since he was wrong. If he wasnt sure he couldve just doubled check and then advised.
lovely
Vegetarian options: Not a lot of vegetarian choice Food
Loved meeting up with family and visiting while there!
The veggie burger was amazing! The best one I ever ate. Julia served us very nicely with a lot of patience. And the order was on point. Thank you meal. Food
Cathy N is a fantastic waitress. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the strawberry crepe was delicious. The serving sizes are enormous.
Extremely expensive, reheated food in my opinion and my son chose the Mac & Cheese, totally Kraft dinner! Dont go there its not worth the cost
Medium rare steak was basically raw. Gave me some pretty bad tummy issues for the rest of the day.
The most expensive Dennys in the world.
Very poor customer service,They dont clean the cutlery, the shift manager was very rude and defensive about it...be careful
I wish I had gotten our waitresses name because she was an absolute delight. Very wholesome vibes, perfect place to bring my mother for her birthday breakfast.
Overpriced, and subpar food. Waitress was inept and argumentative where I truly believe she just couldnt grasp what we were ordering. Menu picture showed 1 thing, food delivered was different and barely luke warm. Wont find us in this restaurant ever again. Many better choices in the area.
Food was good, nothing special. Wait staff had a large language barrier and it was very difficult to get our meals ordered properly.
We knew the company from New York. In Niagara Falls a typical American restaurant pleasant food quite a lot. Good service. Anyone who likes American hamburgers is welcome.
Food was great as usual but the service is lacking compared to previous visits! Drank my tea before my food arrived and not once was I asked if I needed more water for teapot. Could have been worse Im sure but it just felt like the usual service level was not there... Great that they have 1 hour parking for patrons! Parking: 1 hour free parking for Dennys patrons.
Seriously the prices are exorbitant it makes no sense. That s not Château Frontenac after all. Show the waitress the drawing of the dish you want to eat on the menu because if you say 2 eggs with potatoes (extra) with bacon (extra) and toast (extra).. Its really ridiculous. Coffee is extra at around $5. It was the 1st and last time. Owner 0%
It was great service was wonderful it was clean tidy tastes good I would 100% recommend
Overpriced bad service $100 for 3 people for breakfast.
Badly cooked egg, infested food... exorbitant price, cold coffee Never again
Great food and service
Busy restaurant. Fast service.
Have to honest, went with my 6 and 8 year old and the ability have a smaller meals for a reduced price was not easy .... all together, the portions were fine, but the price was higher then expected.
Everything was salty and they messed up our order. The manager gave like $5 off to make up for this, we paid for something inedible. Wouldn t recommend anything on the Niagara strip.
Food not well cooked, hash brown was not a concept assimilated by this restaurant and we will not talk about the price of our plates and the terrible coffee at $10 for 2 people.
We wanted to try the experience again, we shouldnt have. Very very average food and frankly overpriced. The service was friendly, just enough to get a tip. Dennis a Niagara falls will be for us the river of no return...
$90 for runny eggs, untoasted bread, under cooked potatoes and a waitress was slow as molasses...didnt even bring condiments for the table...but she sure found time to stand over my shoulder when it was time to tip...avoid this place..youll get a better breakfast at Mickey Ds at better value.
The server was very kind and helpful.
FREE PARKING ONSITE! Like my hash browns cooked more but everything else was very good.
Anantha was a great server. The food was tasty and affordable. I came here twice during my 3 day trip to Niagara Falls. Once for lunch and once for breakfast. Both were delicious.
I dont understand the prices... 24 for a double cheeseburger... Why have the prices suddenly become double?
Went in last night and was overcharged. When I requested the receipt they told me the machine was broken. Staff was extremely rude as well. Didnt catch her name but it was a petite Indian woman. Horrible experience and Ill never be back.
Not a place I would return to
I was very disappointed with the food. The eggs was overcooked and had absolutely no taste. The sausages were horrible. My husband got an omelette and it was taste less and was very greasy. We both could not eat our meals. The washroom and the area where we were seated smelt really bad. The server was nice, that s the only good experience we had.
Good value between food, service and money spent. I went with my family and we enjoyed after a long day walking.
If I could give zero stars I would. Went to this location for my childs birthday , never been to Dennys before was expecting it to be top notch ...it was not.the server was friendly seated us right under ac, brought out drinks coffee and tea and 2 cold drinks my tea ended up cold within 5 mins, after about 10 mins of sitting under ac and shivering the server told us we could move to different spot. Waited for food for another 15-20 Mins our food comes most of food came it was hot except my hubbys food which was eggs and pancakes and such his food extremely cold butter would not melt on pancakes, the food was mediocre. I can make better food at home and the prices were way too much . Cash grab. We did not complain about anything, the server came to table and asked only my hubby if he needed anything but did not ask the other 3 people at our table? Whatever np. So we finish food and server brings Bill it was 130 dollars and some change for breakfast meal 2 lasagna and mozzarella sticks and 4 drinks. I paid bill and no I did not tip extra. Usually I do do tip if the service is exceptional but it was not this day. When my hubby left he heard the server getting mad and telling other server she went in back and started throwing things around because we did not tip . Im sorry but if you expect to get tips your service must be exceptional and food must be also exceptional ,i would also look at lowering your prices if your going to serve cold mediocre food. unfortunately exceptional service was not achieved for us. We will not be returning here.
Great food and friendly staff.
$70 for lunch for 2, no sense too expensive and the eggs overcooked on the bottom and not cooked on the top.
Over priced, really bad food
Great service!
First time ever trying Denny s and absolutely LOVED IT. Such a family friendly atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious! Despite the busyness of Canada Day, got seated and our food served relatively quickly. Our server Anantha was so incredibly friendly, patient and accommodating! Great experience!
Great friendly staff along with fairly priced food for Niagara Falls district we found
Service is good but food lacks taste, bacon is no where near Canadian quality and eggs, hashbrown and others feel made in bulk, industrialized and cheap. Good location though
Love it
Bit more pricey than other Dennys but our server was super friendly
I know there are lots of breakfast places, but this one hit the spot. Holly was super amazing. Thank you very much
Our server Holly was amazing! Even though it was the busiest, craziest weekend (July 4), our drinks were always topped up, and she was so friendly and took the time to chat with us when she had a moment! Kudos to her for up keeping up amazing service during the absolute chaos and zoo that it was!
First, the best part! Holly was an amazing server, she was friendly, polite and wonderfully speedy. She kept up with us, got everything we needed and even found some things we wanted that werent at the table. The food was excellent overall, my pancakes had a bit of char on them, other wise everything was great. Holly kept our drinks full and had the exact amount of chatting that went great with the service! True professional here. The pricing though higher is on par with other Dennys, and you can still make things cheaper by planning out your purchase. Thanks for an awesome vacation Saturday brunch.
We were staying at a hotel nearby and visited this Denny s twice for breakfast, both visits were great. We did not need to wait to be seated and our food came quickly. The portions were very generous and kept us going all through the day as we explored the falls. Would recommend to anyone looking for a hearty meal.
Did not enjoy my stay, waitress projected her bad mood on me and my son during taking our order and I didn t even want to stay and taste the food. I understand it s only one unhappy and unprofessional person..but it was worst experience ever. Especially if u look at the prices there..
I had been here 3 years ago for my husbands birthday and then came back today for my birthday to be disappointed. They apparently dont honor the free birthday meal anymore at this location. The service and food were ok. Im not sure if anyone else has written about this in the reviews, but I thought it would be helpful to know for others. So youre not disappointed like I was, especially on your birthday.
Dennys the food was good and tasty
Where do I start off . Uncooked food The environment does not smell good, the waitresses are rude, portion size is deceiving. I would not recommend this place. Servers response if the food is uncooked, it depends on the chef so technically she is indirectly saying customers should eat uncooked food lol. No apology was given, her demeanour was unhappy and clearly upset. * if there cameras inside the restaurant- management feel free to view the footage* the events described here, is what have unfortunately occurred. The POSITIVE OUTCOME out of this was done by the Manager Sam. Thank you sincerely. If anyones family is planning to eat here- they should be treated with respect and COOKED food.
Was here on a girls trip with my friends and was not happy with the service. I get that some days just aren t the best, but there is some respect that should be given, after an accidental spilling of water our server proceeded to toss napkins on the table without as little as a smile throughout our whole visit. When we got to the end of the meal and were paying, she was extremely sassy and felt like she was judging our tipping and mentioned that if we couldn t afford it mcdonald s is right down the street . It was my friends birthday and this really shocked all of us, not happy.
Got sat down with all adult menus even though we were 2 adults and 2 kids. 10 minutes for drink orders. When she took our drink orders we were ready for the food to. She refused to take the food order and we waited another ten minutes for her to come back with the drinks which she got wrong. Went to correct drinks before taking food order a second time. Comes back 5 minutes later with the 2 waters missed. 25 minutes at this point and still no food order. We start to order and she refused to allow my 11 year old daughter to order celebration pancakes which is what we went there for. After some convincing we got our 10 year old son to order the celebration pancakes and my 11 year old KID ordered an adult mean. We switched the plates when they arrived. When we got our food everything was cold. My butter wasnt even melting on my pancakes. I orders cheese on my hash browns and it was ice cold. No melting of any kind. 4 orders of pancakes on the table and the server didnt even think to bring us syrup. When I waved her down and told her she brings us one from another table that hasnt been wiped down and only has enough for maybe two pancakes. I had to look around and find another bottle myself. From entering to exiting took an hour and 25 minutes. Half the tables were cleared. Oh and when you pay the server sits over your shoulder to make sure you know how to tip for their awful service. Needless to say worst Dennys experience ever and Ill never go back to this one. Kid-friendliness: Dennys seems to think kids are only 10 and under. My 11 year old loves Dennys and we went there for her. She loves the celebration pancakes. At first the server argued she couldnt get them until I pointed out my son was ten. So he ordered them and switched with his sister. How stupid is this. Kids are kids till they got Teen in their age. Wake up Dennys.
Very expensive
Lovely never changes simple good food
Food was as expected for Dennys. Prices were high because of the location. We had a much better breakfast at our Doubletree for less money
Very good spot for a decent breakfast after the long walks along the Clifton Hills
Very good customer service!
Loved this location in Canada! Our server was a sweet girl.
Average food, poorly served and exaggerated price. The reception was a terrible, unfriendly experience, I went with my baby and I couldnt get in with the stroller, it wasnt friendly either. The old restaurant, the dirty bathrooms. The friendly waitresses
do not go on your birthday, they dont participate in the free breakfast promotion
They charge you a service fee to eat in the restaurant. They also charge Canadians more than those from the USA which is crazy cause theyre located in Canada. The prices are way too high for what theyre serving. Ill never go back there again.
