In 1992, the Lishman family had a dockside moment of inspiration. What if there was a premium restaurant that offered a fresh menu served with the same hospitality one enjoys with family and friends at the cottage? From this simple dockside idea 3 decades ago, Turtle Jack’s has continued to build on the tradition of creating memorable moments with a fresh, savoury menu that includes award-winning ribs, signature wings, unforgettable burgers and creative cocktails. So ‘come on over’ for some cottage-inspired comfort food, enjoyed in a warm atmosphere reminiscent of a meal enjoyed dockside. Turtle Jack’s is a division of MTY Group. Seasonal hours may apply. Please contact the store for details.
Phenomenal experience; especially for a first visit on a busy Saturday night. The ambiance is exceptional.. the food is the star of the show.. so many well executed dishes that are flavorful, from appetizers, main and the drinks.. ultra creative! Initially, wasn't sure where to start but our waiter Zack from the first hello knew the menu well and was very attentive. His recommendations based on "wants" lead to a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The drinks were timely.. didn't have to wait to ask.. Zack noticed and read the overall dining experience well, with a couple of chuckles in between as well.. truly made the night memorable.. Looking forward to going back again and finding Zack for another adventure.. There is more to try and experience as the menu options are comprehensive! Thank you Zack.. & well done Turtle Jacks Niagara Falls!! exceptional!
Last night I went to this location for dinner. Let's just say, I wish I went here the night before. Lisa the general manager was amazing. Marcus was friendly and provided great food options. You have to try the braised ribs grilled cheese. I see why they are rated a 4. Everything was great at reasonable prices. I'll be back. Try this restaurant first before you go anywhere else. Seriously!
This place is an absolute gem among the touristy, mediocre, fallsview restaurants. The food is incredible, and the handcrafted cocktails are nuanced and perfectly made. We had a variety of appetizers and desserts in the comfortable bar area. Their sticky toffee pudding alone is worth a stop! The owners and staff are amazing, and every time they make me feel like a true guest in their restaurant. They’re really lovely. I always stop by Turtle Jack’s when I am in Niagara Falls. You should, too!
A good meat and fish restaurant with vegetarian options. The beef burger we ordered was delicious, the veggie burger was big and good, and the fries were crispy and fresh. Personal, pleasant and fast service. There is free parking for visitors to the restaurant nearby.
After spending the day driving up from Maryland, my wife and I were looking for a good place for dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Turtle Jacks. The Lobster Bisque was VERY good with chunks of lobster. As well, the Bison Meatloaf and Chicken Curry were excellent. Our waitress was a joy to talk to and to wait on us. The next time that we are nearby we will be dining here again…and you should too! You will not be disappointed.
Unfortunately, I watched LSU literally steal a win over South Carolina in football here. Other than that, which I am going to assume was not their fault, I really liked this place. It's a bit of a sports bar vibe, but I like sports bars. Food is good and reasonably priced. Service is very good. We had lobster bisque, lots of meat in a tomato base. I had the 7 count roaster wings. Large wings. We also had the nacho salad and it is huge. Fried calamari is good and you should definitely try the whipped feta with naan.
August 9, 2024. We celebrated our anniversary here at Turtle Jack Niagara. It was a good experience since the order taker was very nice and kind. Although the server who served the wings gave us the wrong one, it was fine. Burger was impressive, wings were good, but the fettuccine is a bit not fresh. In summary, our experience was good and definitely would be coming back.
We had a great dining experience at Turtle Jack's in Niagara Falls. The poutine, fish, and dumplings were fresh and flavorful. The staff was excellent, providing attentive and friendly service. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We left feeling satisfied and happy. I highly recommend Turtle Jack's for a delicious meal in Niagara Falls. The quality of food and service was impressive. We look forward to returning.
Our waitress Victoria was amazing and the food was delicious!
Great place for my family
Each morning, Lisa the General manager greeted me. She is an exceptionally personable and attentive person. Very involved and has enormous work pride. Her attention to details exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was always made quickly and was tasty and still hot when I got back to our room.
Food was delicious and Claudine was a sweetheart! Definitley recommend!
Claudia was amazing. Very attentive.
Plats copieux.
The food was excellent from beginning to end! French onion soup was delicious.Grilled wings were some of the best you ll have. Bison meatloaf was plated to perfection and absolutely delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was a true eating experience. The owner Connie was also very gracious as were the waiters! Will definitely go back to Turtle Jacks! Parking: Once you have dined at Turtle Jacks just show your receipt at the hotel front desk and no fee charged for parking. Parking easy and accessible!
First time here by chance,BINGO Our host Tasha was great , she was friendly and when we had some issue with an order , she responded us in a very kind and respectful manner We ordered : Ribs Bison meatloaf Turtle wings Wine All great BUT , turtle wings, was yummiest wings ever that we tried in our entire life Greatest Ever
Andrea did incredible. Food was excellent
Great food and great Caesars. Great service thanks Andrea! And no extra Niagara tax :)
great service and great food!
Great food. They don t add the tourism tax which is great. Go to place when in town. Tasha is great and very helpful. Didn t rush us out the door at close. We will be back.
We have been here 2 times and both times were excellent food a wonderful experience and atmosphere and thanks to Andrea for servicing us perfectly.
Our entire party unanimously agreed that the atmosphere and food at this location was truly remarkable. The only thing better was the extremely professional and affable service, especially from our server, Andrea.
The food was very good striploin for me and basa fish for my wife! But ma I m not writing this review because server Tasha made the evening exceptional!!
We had the pleasure of being served by Brian, during our recent visit to Canada and Turtle Jacks and can t say enough about our experience. From the moment we sat down, we were greeted with a smile and made us feel right at home. His knowledge of the menu was impressive. The drinks were expertly crafted, and he clearly took pride in his work, paying attention to every detail. Beyond the drinks, Brian was personable, engaging, professional and made great conversation, which added to the overall experience at the bar. If you re lucky enough to be served by Brian you will have an exceptional experience.
Food was run of the mill. Was expecting better for the cost.
Great food, friendly host,,, really awesome drink!! I had the raspberry mojito, definitely the highlight of the night,
Pleasant, friendly, efficient service and freshly prepared meals. We were staying next door at the Radisson for two nights, and both days we had breakfast at Turtle Jacks. Our server Victoria was friendly and made very helpful recommendations for gluten free options. We had dinner also, which we were able to order as take out to enjoy in our room. We have eaten in this restaurant before, and we look forward to returning when we visit Niagara Falls again. Dietary restrictions: For breakfast, the server was able to confirm which options were gluten free. The eggs benedict had flour in the hollandaise sauce, so the 3 eggs, bacon with tater tots instead of home fries and gluten free toast were the perfect substitutions. Gluten free dinner items were clearly marked on the menu online: the curry bowl with chicken was very tasty.
Had the bison burger an fries an it was excellent the service was phenomenal, will definitely go back
Totally nice waitresses, everyone is on point and the food is really good. Stayed at the Marriott Hotel opposite and ate there almost every day.
My friends from toronto came in on Saturday & ordered some food and beer: Chicken parms, blackened chicken on naan. Food & service was delicious, but standout was Brian the bartender. He s classy guy, very sincere and knowledgeable about the menu and also the region. Will be back to visit our new buddy!!
Love turtle jacks! Thank you Andrea for your service
Lovely meal, and Claudia our server was wonderful and friendly!
Andrea gave is the best service I have had in Canada since arriving in October. She should give lessons to other servers, she was fantastic
This restaurant is an absolute gem! We visited to celebrate our birthdays, and had a great experience. The food was phenomenal both the ribs and the burgers were cooked to perfection and had great flavor. We also tried the brownie sundae for dessert, and it was so moist and had delicious toffee bits and rich ice cream with it. Our server, Claudia, was outstanding. She was incredibly attentive, sweet, and went above and beyond to make our birthdays feel truly special. She added a lot to make it a great experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming (the perfect spot to get out of the cold!) I can t recommend Turtle Jack s enough if you re looking for amazing food, exceptional service, and a great vibe, this is the place to be!
Called earlier today asking about reservations/wait times for tonight. We were told stop in and we would be seated in minutes. Arrived 7:15pm and was told close to two hour wait (1:45) for party of three and not the minutes we were promised. This might not sound like a big deal had we been local and had a car but I walked 20 minutes to this restaurant with my two teens and finding another available spot to feed them after a very long day was not easy. Not sure where the disconnect was and why we were told a table would be available but not being seated definitely messed up our evening.
Matt was a fantastic server. My daughter has serious allergies and he made sure to communicate with the kitchen staff to take excellent care of her. Food was best we ve had in 3 days of visiting Niagara for decent prices.
Stayed at the Radisson during a recent business trip and decided to check out Turtle Jacks which is conveniently attached to the hotel. Nice place, lots of TVs to watch sports. Service was fantastic. My server Tasha recommended the Hella Burger which was delicious, probably one of the best burgers Ive had in a long time. Beer was cold. Would definitely dine here again next time Im in town
Matt was our server! Recommended options, was very informational with the menu. Proper service, didnt come across as fake service. Had a great experience. Would come back, 10/10
Claudia was an amazing server !! Made our experience so enjoyable ! Food was amazing, portion sizes were huge as well! Raspberry mojito is the way to go ! Food
Claudia was great. Enjoyed our meal with kids
Love this restaurant. Our server Claudia was wonderful. So professional and knew her dishes. Thank you Claudia for making our visit so enjoyable
Claudia was so helpful and attentive! Good standard burgers from Turtle Jacks with excellent service makes 5 stars.
Andrea was our bartender and she was friendly and super kind. We had chicken nachos and whipped feta. The whipped feta was awesome. We are going to the Blimd Pig for a local suggestion from Andrea tonight.
Just came here with my husband and had the pleasure of having Mak serve us . She made the whole experience amazing.
Claudia served us with great cheer and panache. Our entrees were delicious, and the sticky toffee pudding divine.
The chicken fingers were awesome
Food was amazing. Definitely recommend the bison meatloaf and blackened chicken penne. Sangria was very nice. Decent service, though there was a bit of a wait when we were done for the server to clean off the table and bring the bill. Was a good experience overall.
The service was amazing. Breakfast was very good. The toast was grilled. The eggs cooked exactly as asked. The pot of coffee for the 5 of us was appreciated as we didn t have to keep flagging down our server.
Pauline was a absolute amazing waitress She constantly came back to my table to ask if i was satisfied and asked several times if i needed anything else She always kept a good smile made me feel like a good customer I would recommend this place anytime i had a amazing experience Thank you
I had a great experience dining and Pauline is friendly and did a great job
My friend and I had a lovely lunch here at Turtle Jacks after a beautiful morning at Niagara Falls! :) Marcus was SO kind and such an attentive server/bartender. Always made sure that our glasses were full and that we had everything we needed to ensure a perfect Saturday lunch! Were out of towners, but if we ever make our way back to the Falls we will be sure to come back and visit Marcus and the rest of the lovely crew!!
Love Claudia, she was amazing and so friendly, no pressure on time for ordering and great recommendations on our food orders. Food was amazing, so shout out to the cooking staff! 10 out of 10 experience for a first time visit
Nikki was nice and got us what we needed. Bathroom location was a bit far into the hotel lobby. NY Fried Chicken was good.
Solid 8/10 for food, service, and vibe.
Good food for a standard chain. The seasonal short rib grilled cheese was great! The prices felt a little steep but understand there is the tourist tax. Food : 5/5
Food was good but pricey.
Nice salmon and the brownie pie was Nice service ! Food
Really friendly and welcoming staff. The food was excellent and, compared to the other local restaurants, the prices are reasonable.
We brought a group of 50 people to this location on a Friday (mix of kids and adults). Dealing with the manager, Christine, ahead of time was great, she communicated well and explained how to make it work as easily as possible with such a large group. Normally when we say hockey team, restaurants are hesitant and on edge from the moment we arrive. The staff greeted us warmly and were friendly from the start to the end! They were amazing! They were quick, patient and all had a sense of humour! On top of the great service, the food and drinks were excellent. I cant say enough about this location and their staff, if you are in the area, I would highly recommend! Kid-friendliness: They were extremely patient with the 13 kids!
Meal was awesome and the service was excellent
Very busy and quite loud but food and service was good
If you find yourself in the vicinity of Niagara Falls, I strongly recommend that you prioritize a visit to this establishment. The positive feedback it receives is well-deserved, as the culinary offerings are exceptional and the pricing is reasonable considering the quality of the dishes. I personally had the pleasure of dining there on two consecutive evenings, having been underwhelmed by the reviews of other nearby restaurants. On the first occasion, I savored the delectable combination of ribs and fried wings, complemented by a tantalizing honey garlic sauce. The second visit saw us repeat the chicken wings, this time opting for a larger portion, and also indulging in calamari and the intriguing fire and ice dessert. Each dish exceeded our expectations, leaving no room for disappointment. Breakfast at this establishment is equally commendable, with hearty and flavorful plates that left us fully satisfied. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly endorse this establishment and anticipate future visits with great enthusiasm.
Came here with about 20 or so people for hockey & our server was amazing! We went to TGIFridays (don t recommend) for lunch and had 2 rude servers attend us. We walked in with no appointment and kids and Tyrel jacks with 1 server and had the best service we ve ever had! So fast and so pleasant! (Bison meatloaf is a must and turtle chicken wings) Thank you Andrea for your outstanding service
Delicious food, large portions, cozy atmosphere.
This restaurant is amazing! The service was exceptional and my family of 6 all really loved the food. Our waitress was pleasant, funny, and made sure our experience was very memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!
I read the reviews and everything was great so went for dinner. This is the best place so far in Niagara. My husband and I sat at the bar and Andrea was wonderful. The food was so fresh and make sure to visit when you are in town
I had a steak which was perfectly cooked the way I wanted it and ended it with the highly recommend sticky toffee which was heaven. Very good staff and customer service.
My wife ordered the chicken penne and I had the ribs and wings meal. Chicken dish was good but small. Wings and fries were cold, ribs were good. Felt rushed to order and pay with no one in the place. And with very few people, there was no atmosphere. Not sure what the vibe is supposed to be upscale BBQ? Or a BBQ sports bar? probably a one and done for me with many more options in the neighborhood.
The food and service were amazing!! Parking: Great location and easy to walk to Food : 5/5 |
Food was good, service was excellent. Get there early as it gets busy quickly.
Great food, great service, good prices considering the location.
Nice place, very helpful and kind staff. Has gluten free options but all are prepared alongside/with everything else. Dietary restrictions: Their Gluten Free options are made alongside and on the same surface as everything else. 100% likelihood of cross contamination. Parking: Their bathroom is outside of the restaurant and down a big hallway by the hotel front desk. Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible but due to the size of the restaurant, it may be tight depending on the wheelchair size.
I wish wed found this place earlier in the trip to Niagara Falls!!!!! Andrea was absolutely incredible and the food and drinks were outstanding The service and the atmosphere were perfect. There were vegan options, which I appreciated and everything was fresh. Id highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Incredible salad with beets and avocado
Excellent experience. Food, cocktail menu, and especially the service was great.
Fantastic staff and atmosphere. We went in for a quick bite and loved the guacamole and chips, although I found a little bit too pricey. Negative side is the fact that we have to cross the restaurant and the hotel lobby to get to a restroom, but it was clean and tidy.
Extremely clean, well organized and excellent food. The service was incredible, our waitress Jen was helpful and patient (even when we moved tables last minute). The manager was also very friendly and came by to check that everyone was happy after the food came. It was kid-friendly as well, the kids menu was great and they gave our kids a toy as we were on our way out. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.
Spent 2 evenings in town and decided to eat here twice. Regardless of whether it was a salad, a wrap or chicken wings, the food was always great! Best restaurant in town!
No wait. Quick service. Lovely waitress. Restaurant a little outdated. Vegetarian options: Menu has vegan options options Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available Parking: Restaurant pays your parking if you stay less tgan than 2 hours Wheelchair accessibility: In a hotel. Accessible doors
Wait staff was awesome! Food Good! Manager horrible and rude! Great restaurant, but needs a new manager.
This is such an awesome restaurant! Our server Claudia was wonderful, and the food was fabulous! The bison meatloaf, fish and chips,French onion soups and sticky toffee pudding were all so delicious!
Everything was wonderful! The portions were quite large, and everyone was happy with the amount. The food was definitely better than what we expected, and the price was awesome. Our waitress was super friendly and accommodating. She had no problem pushing two tables together, and she was patient when taking the kids orders. Upon finding out I was feeling nervous about plans later that day, she completely reassured me that everything would be fine, and she reignited my excitement for everything! Parking: The parking is shared with the attached hotel, and finding a spot near the restaurant might be tricky.
Had the bison burger and it was very good. Our server, Jennifer, was super kind and very helpful.
We had breakfast one morning as we werent thrilled with the food in our hotel, and we liked it so much we came back for dinner. I had one of the bowls, and it was delicious! A good portion of meat and veggies with great flavor, cooked to perfection. My husband had the ribs, and he said they were some of the best hed had. Nice, big restaurant with good space between tables. The staff was great and alternately charmed and were charmed by our baby
We highly recommend Turtle Jack s restaurant for their quality hot food and service. We ordered the chicken fajita and Seafood Fettuccine it was served very hot,I had to wait a few minutes before I could eat it.The waitress was very attentive, and we didn t have to wait long for our food.We will definitely come back.Highly recommend.
Friendly staff, fast service, and reasonably priced. Ate breakfast there all 3 days during our stay. Got a full breakfast with eggs, bacon, and toast for less than a coffee and croissant at Starbucks. Great job, yall. Well be back for sure.
The steak was a little tuff, the auju for the open face sandwich salty. The beers were nice and cold Dietary restrictions: The waitress asked us if anyone had dietary restrictions Kid-friendliness: yeah seem kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: its on the first floor. most of the tables are low
I came to this hotel on August 14th-15th. On the 15th, I had breakfast there! It was so good, i love the food, its inexpensive, and its also very worth it. The staff was very kind and nice. I would recommend coming to Radisson Hotel for a good price and nice meal! PS: I was wanting to put the review after my trip but I never got time to.
Great food and great service. It is pricy, but then look at the location. The ribs started out really good, but half of them were a little dry. Overall a fine experience.
Right across from our hotel. Service was amazing. Food was so good and great prices. I thought about that sandwich all week
We had absolutely delicious meals and some of the best service Ive ever received at any restaurant. Highly recommend!!
First time in Niagara Falls and my family and I tried this place. The food was fantastic the ribs were delicious the staff was friendly and the service was outstanding!
Yellow coconut curry is a very good choice for rice lovers.
We stayed at Radisson which is connected to the restaurant and we visited on a couple occasions for both breakfast and dinner and each time the food and service were fantastic. The portion sizes are good for the price as well. I would definitely recommend visiting this establishment if you are in the area.
We had a good experience at Turtle Jacks. We got right in for a 1pm lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was very clean. Our server, Tasha, was friendly. The desserts and drinks were the best part of the meal. Parking: The hotel will verify your parking voucher after you eat.
Lovely food and great staff
Great experience it s worth using the breakfast coupon if you re staying at the Radisson
Traveling on vacation and stopped here for lunch! The food was great, as was the staff!
Very delicious food, nice and funny staff
Its the same price as other area comps but so much better in terms of value and quality. Wish we dined here both nights...
We walked over from the hotel and I m glad we did. Our server was Alex and he did great! We ordered the 4 cheese penne and split it to have room for dessert. I m glad we did! The pasta was big enough to share and the chicken was marinated well and flavorful. The dessert was the star of the show though. We got the brownie and it was so warm and soft. It was very rich but melted in you mouth. Probably one of best brownie and ice cream combo I ve ever had.
Good food and great service.
Food was okay, but five stars for being super family friendly! The staff, unprompted, brought our kids veggies to snack on, dessert, and a toy as we left. Plus dinosaur crayons and a fun activity book! After 9 hours in the car we finally got to relax and unwind during dinner, we appreciated it so much! Would highly recommend this place for folks with kids.
The food was great for being on the strip and close to the falls. The service was good and fast. Great location and walkable to the Hilton and the other main hotels.
This place was great. Wide selection of food and drinks. Amazing staff (the main waitress and even the 2 that dropped off food were very personable and attentive). Atmosphere was what was to be expected around here.
Food was mediocre at most. My husband ordered chicken Alfredo, and got chopped bland chicken, alright sauce and noodles. I ordered shrimp Alfredo and got 4 pieces of overcooked shrimp, bland chicken, noodles and luckily I got peppers, and mushrooms to provide some flavor! When the garlic bread is the high point of dinner, thats disappointing.
The staff was extremely rude. It ruined my meal.
Delicious! I cant remember the name of our waitress but she was absolutely wonderful!
Terrible
Very good food. And amazing service. Please keep up the great work
Update* after speaking with Lisa I must adjust my review, any manager that reaches out to discuss after getting a good review but still wants to improve their service is a business I will always support! Food was good, service lacked Don t enjoy watching my waitress sit and chat for 20 minutes well waiting for my bill, then having to flag down a different waitress to get my bill.
Totally supprised at the quality of all menu items and how professional all staff executed their positions in Turtle Jacks. Tables are spread out perfectly for comfort. Looking forward to dining there again ...soon! ( ) Vegetarian options: The Avocada Toast is totally delicious along with the Beef Barley Soup. And such a great cup of coffee to Parking: Had no vehicle but very easy access(door service) for Uber or Taxi
Bartenders and food are both really good. Fish & chips and sticky toffee pudding are excellent. Kind of a sterile atmosphere but Ill definitely be back.
This is one of the best restaurants in the area. Definitely go here if you get the chance.
Will be back.
We have ordered Bison Meat Loaf and Hell of a Burger and it was perfect. It was the best. Highly recommend. The waitress was so caring and so polite. Literally the best restaurant in Niagara falls. Vegetarian options: Many vegeterianoptions
Our food was delicious and our server gave us lots of tips on places to see and places to avoid as tourists. We liked dinner so much that we had breakfast there as well.
Good food. Small portions for the money
The food was fair we had the bacon and chedder burger and the fish and chips the sticky toffee pudding it was great, and I said to the waitress it was the best one I had ever it was that good We had a second visit in a couple of days. I had sirloin steak that was very good, and the sticky toffee pudding was just as good as last time Wheelchair accessibility: Really helpful with allowing us to put the scooter next to the table.
Good burger, good lobster ravioli. Decent onion soup but unfortunately Chicago have better. One downside bathroom was in the hotel lobby, which was dirty and uncomfortable. Food : 4/5
Awesome service on a busy Saturday night! Thank you Jennifer.
Wait staff was friendly. Delicious coconut curry! Plenty of vegetarian options. Dessert was very good. Awesome stop on our trip in Niagara Falls.
Exceptional Service from Lisa, Alex, Pauline and the entire Turtle Jacks team. We had a team dinner on Saturday night , with 45 people and everyone was very pleased with the service and quality of the food.
Adding to my daughters review, after having an anaphlaxis episode at this restaurant. I only gave this restaurant a 1 star (sorry Helen and the other hostess/server who helped Amanda). My review is completely reflective of the service I received from the manager/owner (so called retired police officer) of this establishment during my crisis. He was persistent on having me step out of the restaurant, despite me repeatedly telling him that I did not want to move. Even after my daughter yelled at him and told him not to move me, as per EMS instructions, he continued to ask when Amanda walked away. In fact, he even offered to carry me to the bench outside the restaurant, and drive me to the hospital stating he would get me there faster than ems arriving. My lips were blue, my O2 saturation when ems arrived was 87%, I was diaphoretic (soaked in sweat), light headed, nauseous and heaving....and this guy is telling me I look fine....your respirations are fine.... and continually asking me questions I couldnt answer because I was trying to conserve my energy and oxygen (which I told him I was doing), I was trying desperately to remain conscious. I did not want to traumatized my daughter even further. I am shocked that a manager of a restaurant was unable to be more supportive in this type situation, especially since he claims he was a retired police officer??? Thank you to Helen and the other employees who supported my daughter and tried to expedite EMSs arrival which took nearly 15-20min...felt like forever. Thank you to the EMS guys who finally arrived and saved me.
Located next to Radisson. For appetizers we had their signature turtle wings , it was supposed to be more spicy but it wasnt. It did not disappoint. Entrée we had the signature blackened fish with mashed potatoes on a bed of chimichurri- it was good. The next Entrée was 4 cheese penne pasta. Overall food was good and the experience too.
The ONLY reason I gave this place 3/5 stars is because 1) our dinner service was great before any of the below events had occurred and 2) our server Helen along with two other employees literally helped save my mother s life. The missing 2/5 star is due to the incompetence of the so called manager. My mom and I came here Sunday July 21st for dinner. To make a long story short I had ordered the raspberry mojito which she tried and liked so she had decided to order one herself. After three sips of her drink she started sneezing like crazy and her eyes got very watery. She passed me her drink to finish it but when I looked in the glass I saw not one but TWO hairs, both much too short to be ours. Five minutes go by and my mom who had never had any allergies in her life (other than to cats) is having a full anaphylactic reaction. We told Helen and she rushed to call 911. Some big guy came over to our table. He introduced himself as the manager/owner. He was completely incompetent and unhelpful. The 911 dispatch that both I and Helen were on the phone with kept telling us not to move my mom. The manager kept trying to get my mom from the back of the restaurant to a bench outside. The woman couldn t breathe and he clearly cared more about not drawing too much attention to our table and getting her out of the establishment. He continued to try and ask her questions as her lips are blue and she s gone completely pale. That s like asking a drowning person if they can swim. As she s in a full body sweat and asking when the ambulance was going to arrive he kept telling her she looked fine. This was after he had told us he was a retired cop. I think the closest he s ever been to a cop is maybe dressing up as one for Halloween one year. My mom is a RN in one of the busiest hospitals in Toronto. She wouldn t ask for an ambulance if it wasn t urgent. The hospital confirmed later that she was in anaphylactic shock so thank you to the manager for being a complete ahole. The only thing that kept this disaster from completely falling apart was the fact that our server and a hostess didn t hesitate to call 911. The ambulance took forever but that s not fault of our any of the employees. To the manager, I really hope you learn some people skills. If this is how you treat customers that are having an actual crisis in your establishment then I seriously encourage you to reconsider your career field and maybe stay retired. Huge thank you to our server Helen, the older female employee with red hair and the young hostess with dark hair and the cross necklace!
Restaurant above the main falls accessible by the funicular. Very good. We had the fish & chips: excellent
Nothing to say, its clean, its good, the service is impeccable. Our server is a dead ringer for Austin Butler.
Amazing food and great scenery
Plenty of Gluten-free & Vegetarian options is the reason for the high rating. Turtle Jacks does what no other restaurant in Niagara is doing and accomedating celiacs well (even have their own separate menu!). Everything else (including the higher prices) is on par with all the other chain restaurants near the strip. Dietary restrictions: I was very impressed with the Vegetarian and Gluten free offerings.
Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. The service, atmosphere and food was fantastic. We had a buffalo chicken wrap, chicken tenders, turkey sandwich and a burger. All great portions and delicious. Highly recommend!!
GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. THE SALMON MANGO WAS DELICIOUS
Perfect place for dinner. The food was amazing. I had the original bbq wings that were pretty good just a little on the smaller side. The fries were nice. The service was great and they were so friendly and welcoming. We asked to turn on a football game for us to watch and they immediately put it on. The dessert was in my opinion the best part. If you re going to get the dessert, you have to HAVE TO GET THE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING. It was so rich and flavorful. This place was awesome and I plan on going back.
Very nice atmosphere with very good food. Great destination near the falls
Worst service i have ever had. We went in for dinner and some drinks sat at the bar which had no one else in it, the male bartender took 5 minutes to come over and then after getting our drink order - proceeded to talk to his fellow colleague and took another 10 mins to get our drinks doing all this right in front of us, We didn t even end up getting food or dinner due to the bartenders awful service and attitude. Did not look like he wanted to be there. I work in the bar industry and this would not be acceptable where i work. Very disappointing will not return to this location.
Nice place, friendly staff, decent food.
This is just a great place to enjoy a great meal. Definitely worth it.
One of the only good restaurants around with a correct price, we enjoyed it there.
Not sure if this is a chain but it definitely doesn t feel like it. I was very impressed to find such an amazing restaurant hidden away in the middle of all the tourism. I had the bison meatloaf, which was one of the meals I ve ever had. The bacon around it was crisp and the meatloaf was extremely tender. I ll definitely be back.
Great kids menu and amazing regular menu. Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced food and drinks. Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu
The food was great, and the atmosphere was so comfortable! We enjoyed watching the Olympics while we had our meal. But the biggest shout out goes out to our server, Marcus! He was so lovely and friendly! He gave incredible recommendations based on on what we showed interest from the menu, he was accommodating to any requests or preferences! He checked on us the perfect amount of times! I would come back again Justin hopes to get him as our server again! It was like being served by a longtime friend! I hope he gets the props he deserves!
Everything was amazing. The food(calamari, lobster ravioli, french onion soup, scor brownie etc),zero complaints! The service from the staff was outstanding. The manager and our server(not sure name but it was the evening of August 9th) were funny, welcoming, and on top of anything that was wanted and needed.Keep up the amazing job.ANY place would succeed with staff that great .
Meh, the food was ok. I think 3 stars is fine to say, the server my family had was awful. Went in at 3 pm, I want to say not even a quarter of the tables were taken and yet our server was none existent. After one hour I had to flag him down for napkins and a refill. This has been the worse service I ve received from any other place I ve been to in the area.
Went here because it was connected to the Radisson Hotel (checked in around dinner). Good was great, service was even better. A true surprise just because it was a hotel restaurant . Highly recommend going even if you aren t staying at the hotel!
The restaurant is located in the city of Niagara with a wonderful view of the falls from above. Splashes of water reach here too))). We ordered 1 salad, 3 hot dishes, 2 two beers, 1 juice and a childrens menu. Everything was delicious, service was fast. As I wrote reviews about other restaurants, everything here is expensive by our standards. I recommend visiting.
***Members of the Celiac community- BEWARE.*** My son and husband both have Celiac. We called ahead to confirm gluten free options, notified our waitress multiple times of both food allergies, and were given two gluten free menus in which my son and husband ordered from. Both my husband and son ordered a burger, my son s came out first and he started eating. My husband s burger was served a few minutes later on a different bun than my son s. We immediately asked the waitress if both burgers were gluten free. She realized my son s was not. Although the staff apologized, remade my son s order to actually be gluten free, and refunded my son s meal- the damage had been done. We traveled from the states and only had one night in Canada in which we spent in a hotel room as my son has been sick for hours (and will be for days to follow) due to the carelessness of the staff at Turtle Jack s. Food allergies need to be taken seriously. Simply refunding my son s meal does not right this situation.
Food was delicious and I was happy with the number of options. Service was quick too
The service and food was amazing! We enjoyed the calamari, fried lobster tails and the toffee pudding.
Stayed at the Radisson so had dinner here one night. It s very nice. Nice atmosphere with a bar with drinks and snack/bar food tables one end and the main restaurant the other. We had a guacamole and chips to share as a starter (plenty for two) blackened chicken salad and a hell of a burger and fries. All really tasty. Really good, very fresh and the meat of the burger was great! Their own burgers of rib, beef etc. lovely! Didn t need the dessert, but had one to share anyway. The shared fire and ice was plenty too. Matt the waiter was very informative, friendly, helpful and attentive. A nice experience all round. Parking: Free to customers whilst dining.
Claudia was an absolute gem! Great service, turtle wings were fantastic
Friendly knowledgeable staff menu was great something for everyone kids included
Great spot for lunch while on our vacation
Outstanding food and service. Price was decent and they don t have those tourist trap fees like NFDF or TIF etc. Restaurant is much recommended and will return!
We loved it, we shared the ribs which were delicious. Nicole our always smiling waitress. I noticed the atmosphere among all the servers and that explains the good service and the atmosphere we feel. Go without hesitation
Tooop food!
Good restaurant in convenient location and free parking. Staff is friendly. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. We went for dinner and the basa fish plate was very good. The kids menu had chicken breast with fries, tender and generous serving of chicken. No complaints. Will come again. Vegetarian options: Fish and meatless burger Parking: Parking ticket validated for 2 hrs at hotel front desk with restaurant receipt.
This was the most enjoyable meal that I have had in Niagara Falls. Angela, our server was 12/10. Very personable and an excellent server. If Angela was working in my home town I would have tried to recruit for my hotel. Food was reasonably priced for Niagara Falls, no extra fees, very good food. We asked for a quieter area, no problem, asked about splitting a meal, no problem, there were NO snide remarks or views. Service was top notch. Atmosphere was a nice relaxing time after walking around the falls. No rush to get out Thank you Angela for making a meal an enjoyable experience. This is a hidden gem on the strip. Thank you
The food was good, and the service was prompt and friendly. Its not a cheap meal for 4 adults, but thats common for the area. We walked there from our hotel, but the parking is shared with the Radisson hotel, so you may or may not find a parking space. It is free for diners, though, if you can. Would go again as it was a pleasant dining experience, and again, the food was pretty good. Highly recommend their brownie. Its delicious but is big enough to share.
Awesome stop, small selection of great food. Made breakfast easy . Everything was tasty. Portions were excellent. Service was outstanding and friendly.
Claudia was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We had supper our first night in town and came back for lunch. They are friendly, accommodating and the food was beyond our expectations. Possibly our new favorite spot to eat!!!
Really friend wait staff, good food, very clean atmosphere. Would recommend for a good dinner
Great pub wish I would have known of sooner drinks are cheaper food is also and it was great service is good
Good food. They had a dedicated vegan menu which was great for us. We tried the gyoza dumplings and coconut curry bowl. Good food option in Niagara close to the Falls.
Stopped in for food on our quick trip to visit the falls. We were not sure what to expect when we chose this restaurant but I can honestly say it indeed exceeded our expectations! The staff was very welcoming from the moment we stepped in the door. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable. And the food was absolutely delicious. We got a burger, calamari, and wings. Everything we had was flavorful and pleasant. We did also get to park in the parking lot in front of the restaurant and had the hotel validate our parking card for free parking! Indeed a perk to eating at this restaurant in this area. We would highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique place to eat while visiting the area! Parking: Be mindful of when you come. We came later in the evening and still got lucky and found only one open spot in the parking lot in front of the restaurant/hotel. They did allow us to validate our parking which was a great perk to going to this restaurant! But there are other parking options around this area but they all cost money. Kid-friendliness: We saw a lot of kids in the establishment. They had a coloring book or some sort of item for kids. I only saw them being handed out from a distance. We did not have any children with us for this dining experience.
Stopped 4 a couple of drinks
Food is good. Just when you want take out the either never answer the phone or tell you we arent doing take out. Whats the point.
Good food but very expensive... more than inside the Fallsview Casino. We shared a chicken salad it was a huge bowl, but $30 Dinner for 2 will cost you easy $200 plus drinks Canadian Food
Very expensive for a meal. $30 for a chicken salad. It was good but pricey.
Pleasant with high attention Kid-friendliness: The service is great for all ages and they have a menu for them.
Absolutely the best ribs that Ive ever had. Fall off the bone tender and so delicious. the toffe pudding with vanilla ice cream for dessert, it was a delicius. weve been so happy to have dinner there, were going to repeat tomorrow night! Food : 5/5
Highly recommend anyone to eat here. Mackenzie and Shannon were so great. The food was amazing. If I ever find myself in Canada again. I ll be back at turtle jack s. Parking: On-site parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Automatic doors in the entrance and a handicap button to open the door to the restaurant.

Great service and delicious family ambiance
Recommended by hotel, walk-in with no reservation. Although my burger was quite good, I cannot recommend their food as partner had their signature lobster tail dinner which was served cold. Had to wait to get the attention of a host, plate was duly taken away and returned whereby it seemed the dish had been reheated in the microwave - unacceptable at these prices. Initially service seemed good, although we did not see our host once the meal was served and were not asked for any further drinks or ask how the meal was. UPDATE: visited again recently, and how different it was! The service and food were really good (burger was again excellent), and to be fair I will upgrade from 2 to 4 stars.
Typical hotel food. OK coffee. Parking if you arent staying at the hotel was confusing and you need to remember to get parking ticket validated. Food was expensive for what it was but it is tourist spot.
The food is decent and good portions with fair prices. Service was the best in town on our 3rd night here. Gone to high end places with charred meats served that have cheaped out on ingredients but not here! The food was cooked and prepared perfectly. Also had a full GF menu with lots of selection if needed and careful/knowledgeable around food allergies. The service was very prompt annd friendly and was easy to get into the place with almost no wait. The restaurant was pretty full for a weekday too. Good family atmosphere. Prices were similar to other suburban style chains but with better quality and selection. The restaurant was also very clean and modern inside. I will definitely return. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options on its own menu and the staff are very knowledgeable about this too. Same for seafood allergies too. Wheelchair accessibility: Those with devices such as scooters and wheelchairs seemed to have no problem getting in and around the restaurant.
We were four adults and two children for dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this place. Food
Good food for a place connected to a hotel. Parking: Show receipt and parking pass for complementary parking. Food : 5/5 |
The food was fantastic, gotta try the poutine here. Service was a little slow especially for the time of day and day of week.
Great food, great service from Jen! Over all a great experience.
Food was excellent!! The service was exceptional. Jen was our server. Very personal, friendly and knowledgeable. I would come back a thousand times again! Thank you Jen for the service and for the great food!!
Good food and good service.
Good selection of food, there is something for everyone here. We got the honey Thai wings, they were better than the Turtle wings. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and came with a salad and fries. The cocktails were good, our server Alex was quick and attentive.
Been a long time since I have been to a Turtle Jacks but previously remember as a kid having a good time. Was pretty quiet when went in so service was quick, food came out hot and was pretty good for what we got. One out of four in our party didn t like their dish otherwise good around the table.
Great food and ambience
What a nice vibe when you walk into this place. Staff is courteous and prompt. Food was delicious and generous. The owner walks around greeting guest and ensuring all is well. Wonderful experience.
Great service, food and location. Kid-friendliness: Staff was great to my little guy! Food : 5/5 |
This was one of the few sit down restaraunts we went to whole in niagara. It was also, for all 5 of us, the biggest let down. It wasnt that they did anything wrong, it just wasnt good. The food was disappointing, the servers were more concerned with their conversation with the bartender than checking on us, and the food was definitely overpriced for the quality.
Blackened basa with lobster mashed potatoes was yummy - 2 big basa steaks.. yellow coconut based chicken curry was even more tastier.. great ambience, very near to Niagara falls
This is where my husband and I went on the our first date. We wanted to come back with our daughter just ahead of our anniversary for a special dinner. My meal was terrible. The chicken was like a brick, the waitress agreed and sent it back. However, I was left with my vegetables and mashed potatoes getting cold on the table while they brought me some chicken salad chicken. The waitress was excellent and the lobster bisque was good. I don t think this will be on our list of stops next trip at all.
While it wasn t Canadian food, the food was good. My buffalo wrap which is supposed to one of their signature dishes wasn t hot (temperature). The gift shop was not open even though they said they would be. I was disappointed as I wanted a Canadian souvenir that did not cost me an arm and a leg.
The burger was so good.
Absolutely AMAZING!!! The wings are perfection!!! The staff and owner are caring and attentive. I look forward to coming here every time I come back to the area!!!!!!
Owner and staff have the best service in a long time! Traveled from the US and made us feel like home. Awesome drinks and amazing appetizers. Definitely recommend this place when you come to Niagara Falls
Vert nice decor and layout. Service was friendly and efficient. Food and prices are decent.
Jenn was absolutely wonderful, she made us feel welcomed and like family ! She gave us her recommendations and followed up with a delightful dessert ! Her recommendations on drinks brighten our time here at turtle jacks! Definitely would recommend! Ask for jenn ,you wont be disappointed!
Jenn was our server outstanding service super friendly made me fell welcome and was super informative of the items they had to offer 5 stars will be coming back
Food is tasty! Margarita is the best in the area.
Our family of three ate at this restaurant twice during our stay, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Dinner was pretty good, but it was a little hot in the restaurant that night (very hot week this week). What I really want to recommend is the breakfast. Our check was half of what we spent at IHOP and the quality of the food that we got was much better. My son even got steak and eggs with potatoes and toast and juice vs. a Belgian waffle and chocolate milk at IHOP. Pancakes were also very good and my husband loved the sourdough bread. We got seated right away and we were in and out in about an hour. We would definitely stop here again for breakfast when we return to Niagara Falls!
Delicious food and great service
We went here when we first got to Niagara Falls. The food and service were great!
