Seafood restaurant & bar featuring a raw bar & surf 'n' turf in a relaxed, rustic-chic space.
First time in Canada, just landed and we were super hungry. We found this place and fell in love with it. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. We were greeted and welcomed by Alan and he took great care of us. His wine suggestions were on point to our taste buds, the food was absolutely fantastic. We had oyster shots, octopus carpacio, beef tartare, and the Surf n Turf. Lobster 🦞 was a good size and tasted amazing with their melted butter, that was being kept warm by a small candle. Over all this place was a great introduction to our first stay in Niagara. If we had more time we would have revisited.
I cannot stop my self from coming to this whenever I travel to Niagara. I have been to this place about 5-6 times but every time I feel so overwhelmed and amazed at this place. Food is so damn good especially their Lobster Roll which is always loaded with meat. This tome we tried their Argula, kale salad too and let me tell you that it was the best salad I have ever had anywhere. Tristen is always spot on and he always Wow is with his exceptional service and flair. I would highly recommend everybody to visit this place as this place offers extraordinary service with mouth watering food.
T & V never disappoints! Love love love! Our favourites: lobster Mac and cheese (great to share!) lobster roll, muscles, smoked in-house salmon, and of course OYSTERS! The staff are so amazing- great service all around! Rachel even made a perfect “blueberry tea” even though it’s not on their menu. Thank you team for another amazing experience!
So wonderful! The food was marvelous and the service was so kind. It had the quality of an upscale restaurant and the atmosphere was more down to earth which created a wonderful experience. The oyster variety was impressive and the oysters themselves were so delicious. My friend got the hallibate and was so delighted with her meal. So greatful we stopped by!
Visited for the first time on a Monday: all day $2 oysters. Very fresh oysters. Also ordered steamed clams and seafood chowder. All excellent. Staff were also excellent. Very accommodating with our 9 month old in a stroller. Even our fellow customers were friendly.
Disappointing. How in the world does this place have a 4.6 rating??? We came here on a relatively slow Saturday night to grab a quick bite to eat. The hostess was very nice and got us seated right away. It took quite some time for our server to come. He brought us waters and then we didn’t see him for another 10 minutes. He continued to be hard to find and get any attention from throughout our visit. We ordered a couple of cocktails, the seafood chowder, the tuna tartar, short rib and the lobster roll. Everything was edible, but flavorless. The short rib was tough and over cooked. The tuna was flavorless. The lobster roll was plain but was ok, better than the other two. But, for a basic lobster roll coming in at $42??? Absolutely ridiculous. The only thing we had that was decent I think was the bowl of chowder to start with. It was good. They brought the wrong drink for my wife since they didn’t update their “seasonal menu” & that was fine, but it took forever to find our server to get something else. The hostess was able to help us out here and took care of it pretty quickly. Seemed quite overpriced for what we ordered too. Two entrees, two appetizers and two drinks for $172? I wouldn’t recommend Tide & Vine. Disappointing.
Food was more than amazing here! So delicious that we ended up ordering more things to try! We started out with some raw oysters, got the Tide & Vine Lobster Roll and the Lobster Mac & Cheese as entrees! I highly recommend the Lobster Mac & Cheese for sure!! They gave generous chunks of the meat than most Lobster Mac I’ve ever had! The veggies on the side were so refreshing, great compliment to a pasta dish! We ended up adding their caviar and new desert on their menu - Tiramisu cake (forgot the actual name). The cake was so rich and not overly sweet, which I loved! We did also get the saucy fries - the truffle aioli. I wasn’t too big of a fan of steak-cut fries so I wasn’t able to enjoy this dish as much, otherwise the sauce they placed over was pretty good! The seating was a little tight to other tables, but the environment was very charming! The waitress was super sweet and friendly! Would definitely revisit when we come back to Canada again!
What a vibe! Loved the outdoor dining space. Creative drink and food menu to choose from. The oysters were fresh and well-shucked. Our servers were attentive and excellent. I wish we lived closer to visit more often. On-site parking is available. Highly recommend!
tasty food, but we came at a busy time so we had to wait a while for the food. the seafood tower was fresh and had a variety of fish. we also got the mac n cheese and the pappardelle. the portions were pretty big and we couldnt finish the food. the mac n cheese was still pretty tasty after microwaving. edit: 2nd time here the food was not that great but it was still a nice dinner with good service from our server
Beat Seafood experience in Niagara falls Ema, our server was SUPERB! Thanks for a great experience! Im looking forward to coming back soon with family.
Went for our anniversary dinner, and or (very high) expectations were exceeded. The food, drinks and staff are all 12/10. We sat at the bar and were entertained all night by the bartender and shucker. The food was exceptional, especially the octopus carpaccio. Cant wait to return.
Well, what a surprise a really great restaurant in a strip mall. The mock tails are amazing for those who don t drink alcohol. The beer is good too. The food is not good. It s absolutely amazing. Do not miss this restaurant. It s a real treat to the taste buds. Ask for Angela our wonderful server who was brilliant and that kind of service will make your visit complete.
Second time here and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Brunch was insane. Service is always so great and today was exceptional because of Talia!!! She was friendly and so helpful on recommendations thank you!!!
Unreal Place with the best service!
Great food, fresh and tasty.
We had dinner here for the first time and had a great experience! The oysters are amazing, the service was fantastic and the lobster roll was incredible. Great spot! Food : 5/5
Food was very good, wait staff was awesome. Food was a bit pricey but we are in a tourist area far from the ocean so thats to be expected. Thanks for the experience guys!
Excellent food, great service. A must visit when in Niagara!
As always great service, seafood and the yummy chowder !
Vegetarian options: Limited Food
Vegetarian options: Mac and cheese without Lobster Food
Wow this is the first restaurant that I could NOT say I can make better at home . Thank you for offering us such great food and atmosphere. Sunshine oysters, fries and Lobster were a knock out. Great staff and music! I will be back and I would recommend Tide&Vine to the pickiest of flavour junkies
Food is cold and very salty.
For all those that go to Niagara Falls, I found a gem of a place that s very welcoming and informative on their creative products that they offer. From the freshly shocked oysters and they re incredible sidings of sauces that house made are divine and recommended. If you like a chowder, there s something waiting for you here. Something unique that stood out the most were there french fries with clam sauce and I was quite the fan but overall the service was impeccable and I would Duffin recommend coming back for the seafood fare
Amazing place!
Food took very long, steak was cold by the time we got it. Surf and turf for two was not enough food for two people and most definitely not worth the price tag on it. Will not be returning anytime soon. Waste of a birthday dinner for sure beyond disappointed.
This seafood restaurant has separate areas for dining and lounging. Their bar/lounge section is quite large and has different seating options (1 high table, several regular tables and the bar). The atmosphere was very chill when we went but I could see how it could be a lot of fun when the patio is open or when there is live entertainment. The staff was very attentive and super knowledgeable about their menu. They made great drink and food suggestions and service was very quick. Everything I ate was delicious (I had mussels, steak tartare and lobster mac and cheese). Nothing I ordered has nuts but they were very considerate and cautious about my allergy. I will 100% be back and I 10/10 recommend. Dietary restrictions: For nut allergy, their menu is pretty safe and amendable
Not as amazing as people say. The seafood platter is overrated and the oysters were not as good as Ive had elsewhere. The service was quite slow and staff are not as attentive for a highly rated restaurant.
The food ingredients are very fresh, the cooking techniques are great, the heat and taste are excellent, the combination is perfect, the staff is very polite, a very good experience
Great food, great staff.
My bf brought me there in our 6years ani and I love that. Nice seafoods place i have visited, must try if you re looking for a sea food restaurant.
We flew into Toronto Canada, first time out here, and we found this amazing place. We were greeted by Allen and Matt, which made our experince here way more spectacular. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was vibing. We had oyster shots, the surf and turf. Tried a bit of other delicious foods here.
The food here was spot on. Everything was perfect- our waiter, the entertainment, and did I mention the food?! The service was prompt and quick, and the food was hot. If I lived in the area, Id be a regular!
Best seafood in Ontario!
amazing food, great service! 5 star for sure!
Oyster is great, comes at $4 each. Lobster roll is average. Saucey fries are soooo salty Food : 2/5
One of the best seafood restaurants I ve ever been to! I really like the seafood chowder and the scallop & pork. The server is really helpful too.
Steak Tartare: Risk of diarrhea after eating. Lobster Roll: overpriced but use frozen lobster Fries: tooooo salty Service: Poor I came here with my 65-year-old parents(both have diabetes issue) 10-month-old baby one 6-year-old boy, on a slow Sunday lunch time, only 4-5 tables were severed. Probably wait over 40mins until the first dish came, while we were waiting, I grab some fruits and snacks from the car put on the table, so everyone can share. A guy, guess who is the boss because he didn t wear uniform, came to our table said we are not allowed to put outside food on the table. I was like, we are starving! Don t you see we have a baby to feed?!? And my parents are starving?!? I told him my parents have diabetes, but he came to our table 3 times and accused us. I don t want to tip them a penny. But this is not waitress fault, she served us food quick after 40 mins waiting. Updates: three people in our group ate Stake Tartare, all got diarrhea after eating. Other food is tested safe to eat . Has reported to Public Health.
very delicious! best experience Food
Amazing staff and customer service. They were able to fit us even when they were extremely busy.
Just awesome. Every time.
The food was amazing. The lobster roll was awesome. Ill definitely be back.
The food is absolutely amazing! Great prices for fresh seafood, amazing lobster rolls and oysters. Some of the friendliest people here as well. Make sure to check out their retail store next door, you can take home some amazing treats and super fresh seafood
The taste is good, the environment is good, and the service is good
Every item this place puts on your table is absolutely outstanding. 10/10 destination and not to be missed.
We loved every oyster they had! Not only was the food impeccable but everyone was so friendly and welcoming! We highly recommend when visiting the Niagara Falls area .
This restaurant is an absolute must visit whether you re a local or you re visiting Niagara. Every single piece we ordered was beautiful and every single staff member was wonderful. Some of the best oysters we ve had, and the best lobster we d tried! Book now
If I could leave a negative star review, I would because the server (who refused to give us her name) Here is what happened: We came in and waited at the door (no problem- it s standard). We didn t wait long, maybe 5 minutes. A gentleman came and seated us. The server came and we had questions about the catch of the day and lobster. Mid-sentence, the server said she is going to say hi to someone and be right back. Again, I was mid-sentence. She goes to the door, greets the guests, seats them, leans against the table next to them and has a full conversation with them while we sat there and waited to finish our questions. When she finally finished her conversation (9 mins, 48 secs later- I timed the interaction) she walked by and said how are you making with the menu? as if she didn t leave us mid-sentence. I told her it was extremely rude for her to walk away like that and her response was we don t want people waiting at the door , it s busy , we work as a team and need to get the folks at the door . First- I waited at the door. It s fine to wait at the door until someone is free. Second- If she was truly just wanting to say hi and seat the couple at the door, it wouldn t have taken her nearly 10 minutes. Third- The server could have respected me and my family by letting me finish my question, at minimum. If they are truly a team, she could have called one of her colleagues to seat the couple at the door. Forth- The gentleman who seated us approached us and asked if we are ok. And when we explained he gave the same bullshit reason, that they re a team and they work together. Fifth- While the gentleman was talking to us, she was walking by and giving us smirks. The issue is not a matter of I had to wait 10 minutes, it s that other customers (who she knew!!!) where prioritized and I was expected to just be ok with being disrespected. I can expect and, to a degree tolerate, this behaviour from a MdDonalds run by unsupervised high school students, but not a place that I m out to spend $400 on dinner and drinks for 3 people. I am so disappointed because this place came highly recommended by several of my friends, however times are tough and I refuse to spend money at an establishment that cannot respect all their customers equally.
Very good lobster rolls and cl chowder. Oysters are legit. 10/10
I visited this place when I came to see Niagara Falls in Canada. Conclusion first. Recommended! Please try it with oysters and sake.
I love the lobster roll Its always fresh and tasty Wheelchair accessibility: All in one floor Food : 5/5 |
Great taste yet super expensive. Portions are decent.
I visited this restaurant during a trip to Niagara Falls, and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The dishes were not only delicious but also had a unique twist that made them stand out. The service was excellent, and the staff was very attentive. I highly recommend this place if you re in the area and looking for a memorable dining experience.
Everything was wonderful. It was great to get off the Niagara strip and come out for a dinner that was perfect for seafood lovers and non-seafood fans! We had an array of food and drink items that made our dinner perfect!! Our server was friendly and fun! Thank you Justin for a great evening and taking care of us!
First stop on vacation and it did not disappoint! Julia was an absolute gem and gave us 5 star service from start to finish. The food was exceptional, atmosphere impeccable and I could not recommend more. Do not leave without having their espresso martini: worth your time!
Food is amazing, however it is better to confirm the waiting time even though you can book the time spot online. There maybe another 20 mins wait even though the table is available there. Even if they are short of staff.
Food was delicious. Service was pretty good.
Steak tartar is a must! The service is above and beyond friendly and professional
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff!! Quality is best around!
Friendly staff and delicious oysters and tacos!
We got 2 orders of clam chowder the last time and was completely disappointed! The order they sent was nit clam chowder but a bad tasting seafood chowder. We called to complain but no one answered the phone. After 2 attempts we left a message and no one bothered to return our call. We have dined in before and were happy with the food and service, however, their service and food quality is not the same. We will never eat here again. The price is too expensive the quality.
Delicious and fresh!
I am very disappointed with the waitress serving us today. Don t know her name but we arrived 5 mins early with a baby. And we have a reservation!!! She would not even allow us to sit down and wait while there are plenty of seats outside the patio. poor service and definitely will not come back again ans will not recommend it to any of our friends.
Nice meal in Niagara area. All around good. Many choices of oysters to choose from. Food
Labour Day visit!! Heard they got slammed by customers a couple of hours before we arrived for our reservation! Yet staff were still smiling, offering the specials on oysters and mussels, and pouring a nice, cold bottle of wine ! Thanks, Brittany, for your service and recommendations . Mussels were tasty and hot! Oysters....never a disappointment, even on such a busy evening! Tuna with watermelon? Who knew it could be so tasty and refreshing! How do you do it!? Chefs and kitchen staff are to be congratulated for such expertise and efficiency! Tide and Vine has become our all-time favourite spot!
Had an terrific experience. An instant welcoming feeling as I first arrived. Very nicely decorated with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was simply amazing. I ordered the Tide & Vines Classic Lobster Roll, with bowl of Kats Chowder to start absolutely mouthwatering. Loaded with generous chunks of seafood, potatoes and goodness. It was served with a slice of hot Garlic Toast. The Chowder was spot on!! Full of flavour. The Classic Lobster Roll was truely a sight to see. Large ... I mean large pieces of fresh Lobster over flowing from the toasted bun. There were 2 large claw pieces front and centre on top of the roll. It looked awesome. The German style potato salad looked very appetizing served in a smart mini canning jar. The Lobster was flavourful with great texture. The sauce and mixture was truly a treat, but the size of those chunks of lobster. Unreal. Im glad I only ordered one. It was huge. It was awesome. I cant wait to get another one soon. The German salad was a very nice finishing touch to the mean. The food quality far exceeded my expectations. The ambiance was nice. The staff were on the ball, thoughtful, helpful. I wish I would have tried Tide & Vines sooner, but Im sure glad I did. You dont need to go East to get a solid Lobster Roll, just go to Tide & Vine Oyster House. Thanks, Alex
Had an amazing dining and drinks experience sitting at the bar with new friends and the Bartender Duncan. Thanks for the good time and amazing food. Food
Lobster roll and salad were perfect. As was the service. Thanks guys!! The feature seafood dish halibut was inedible. Neither my wife or I could eat the eggplant sauce. You may want to rethink that part of the dish. Food
Don t want to comment too much. 3 stars explain it. If sub par/ mediocre cannot describe the food here. Then once you taste the pearl milk tea at the rolly & bubbly next door, you probably understand what 3 stars mean. I guess lack of competition at this area is the key.
Best seafood chowder, must try if you go.
My favorite restaurant in the Niagara region. They get it all right. Food, service atmosphere... if seafood is your thing, you should probably go here.
Our first time visiting. I am not a lover of fish at all, but went on the request of our daughter as we celebrated her graduation. She and my husband were in heaven (since we dont have fish very often) as they ordered several different dishes and loved them all. The lobster mac and cheese was plentiful in size and delicious (according to my daughter) . I ordered the short ribs which melted in my mouth-they were delicious. There was a one man band playing. I dont normally appreciate live music in a small restaurant because I find it is usually too loud to converse, but the musician played really great chill music which was not overbearing. A pleasant surprise. Drinks are pricey, but overall a great experience. We will be back.
Food delicious service friendly happy to be there will repeat
Favourite restaurant ever! I highly recommend the smoked salmon
Excellent lobster roll and oysters. Thank you!
Monday Happy Hour all day. House oysters half price. FRESH AND TASTEY.
Listen, I understand that working isnt easy nowadays. That being said, the service was really awful, period. There were racist undertones as well towards my group. After reading the comments, its clear this business has a preference of customer. If you or your loved ones are of a certain complexion you will be given awful service. Its a shame, we really wanted to eat here. We were Unenthusiastically sat down, then ignored for 20 minutes. The male staff all seemed angry, and gave dirty looks. We got up and left, never got to try the food.
Steak tartar was excellent. Oysters very good. Cocktails perfect. Service fast and extremely welcoming. We enjoyed sitting at outside covered patio. Our neighbor got surf and turf which looked amazing.
Outdoor dining at its finest.. exceptional cocktails and mocktails. Freshest oysters around and fabulous wait staff Vegetarian options: Fantastic strawberry salad option ! Exceptional mock tail selections.
As a first-time visitor, we were blown away by the fantastic oysters, great service, and delicious drinks. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, making for a perfect outing. Even though we live far away, were excited to make the trip again!
It was my first time going there and I absolutely loved it! Knowledgeable wait staff with great suggestions that changed my life forever about oysters. I took my son for the first time as well and couldnt stop talking about the oysters and crab he got! I have recommended this place to others and they love it now too!
Popped in this afternoon for a bite. Today is all day Happy Hour so had a $5 pint to accompany the shrimp cocktail. Large shrimp with a hint of garlic and a house made cocktail sauce. Had the scallops and pork belly as my main. Let me tell you...this is phenomenal! Perfectly seared, sweet scallops. Panko pork belly. And so well plated. Paired this with a Reif Pinot Grigio. Last and certainly not least, the staff were attentive and friendly. Shout out to Sam! Excellent service!
Been waiting a while to go here .unfortunately it was meh. Muscles were amazing! Fries were great! However a few of our dishes were mediocre. I got the lobster roll and I couldn t bite it because my lobster was chewy. The gnocchi was mushy but flavourful! The catch of the day was kind of tasteless. I definitely don t think it was worth the $400 tab. I probably won t be coming back, but maybe it suits others. Cute atmosphere and the server was great.
I absolutely LOVED EVERYTHING I HAD TONIGHT!
Stumbled into this great spot for oysters and seafood, it did not disappoint! Came on a Monday so they were doing happy hour all day. Oysters were fresh and had a nice variety of them to choose from. Lobster roll was fantastic and so were the steamed mussels. Had a Caesar cocktail garnished with some fun stuff and got a bottle of wine from their great wine list. Our server Julia brought the laughs and amazingly detailed service. There is a market next door where you can get fresh seafood and yummy sides to-go. Would definitely come back!
Such a cute interior, and the food was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend coming multiple times to try everything out. They also have a great market next door thats Worth checking out.
Loved the atmosphere at the bar. Duncan was our bartender and he was fun! We almost went to another fresh seafood place and I am so glad we went here instead! It was one for the books!
The seafood tower was amazing and the cocktails were delicious!! Definitely dont miss this gem!
Everything is always amazing, staff is great too. Good patio for the summer. Very high food quality, great date spot Food : 5/5
Love this place.
Stick to the top part of the menu and you won t be disappointed. Oysters are some of the best I ve had. Shrimp and lobster were super fresh which makes all the difference worth the drive out there!
We traveled over an hour for this amazing restaurant and were blown away all over again! The drinks were phenomenal, the seafood tower was divine, but it was most of all the staff that made our experience so special! Shout out to Carla, Mackenzie, Angela and Mike for making us feel so welcomed and like family! We can t wait to go back again! 10/10!!!
Amazing restaurant! We ordered lobster bun, shrimp ring, chowder and oysters - all of them are delicious! Love their oysters in particular which is so fresh, and the freshly grated radish elevates everything. Super friendly staff and amazing atmosphere. Will surely be back!
Not the best. My husband and I arrived with reservations. We were seated, ordered drinks. The server then came to us and asked us to move tables, to accommodate a larger party that had walked in. There were plenty of available tables in the restaurant side by side that could have been moved together. We were a little bothered but moved and didn t make a big deal out of it. No problem. The server took our food order, and about 15 minutes later our appetizer came out . We are still waiting for the drinks we ordered, now 20 min ago. Appetizers come, 12 oysters and the tartare. Incredibly tiny oysters. Beyond tiny. $3.00 each. Maybe our fault for ordering oysters off season? The tartare was delicious. Our drinks finally come, she places them down, picks up the empty plates, as she picks up the plates, her Apple Watch completely goes into my husbands drink while trying to balance the plate she s picking up. Gross. She saw she did it, but didn t say anything. My husband doesn t want me to say anything so we just ordered a different drink. I do wish I had spoke up. Two lobster rolls come out. They are great. Very small, with a minuscule side of potato salad. Again, very good, but the portion of salad was in a tiny little dip ramekin. TINY. Our second drink comes, with the bill the bill we didn t ask for. We hadn t complained about anything, kept to ourselves and tried to enjoy our lunch. 4 drinks in total. 2 appetizers, 2 lobster rolls We were there for less than an hour and the bill was nearly $400. Service was poor, we didn t appreciate being shuffled around, drinks were mediocre , and Iets forget the Apple Watch dipped in the martini, food was good, except very expensive for what you receive. We are typically the kind of people who are happy to tip, happy to post and generally excited to recommend a restaurant we discover to our friends and family, but this was just a pretty poor show almost all the way around. - few and small saving graces. Being shoved out of a nearly half empty restaurant when we felt like we weren t done enjoying ourselves finished off the experience. We would have ordered a couple more drinks, coffee, dessert, but nope- here s the bill get out. I don t mind spending the money, for the food, the service, the ambiance, but this was not it.
If you are visiting Niagara Falls and seeking a delightful culinary experience with great seafood, be sure to visit this wonderful restaurant known for its fantastic food, lovely ambiance, and excellent service. Parking: The place is conveniently situated in a plaza with ample parking. Kid-friendliness: The menu includes items that are sure to be enjoyed by kids. Wheelchair accessibility: The place has a room that is spacious enough for any individual with an assistive device. However, the washroom is too tight for a wheelchair to move around.
Had a great meal here. Oyster variety was great, we enjoyed everything.
Amazing food, this should be a Michelin star place.
We had a great experience! Oysters were super fresh! We had Irish PEI, Red head, and lucky limes were the star of the show! Big oysters with great sauce variety! Our server Matt made the experience so great! Super educated on the varieties of oysters and made good recommendations. Would definitely come back!
Well done as usual fine food seafood tower rocked Duncan was awesome. See you soon!!!!
Catch up with a friend and good quiet spot to do it
Tables to close together literally 2.5 away from the next table, ordered mussels and oysters and they were on our table in 10 minutes .ordered another pound of mussels and fries and it took almost 40 minutes and they forgot our fries which we didnt even end up getting because we didnt want to sit for another 30 minutes waiting for fries.. the food was good on the bright side
It was absolutely delicious, and we loved it so much that we went back a second time during our vacation!
Sophia is an amazing wait staff: friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and gracious! The meal was excellent in every way! We had the foie gras and the beef short rib and they were delicious! And oysters, of course! A memorable evening, for sure.
The food here is so good! Like everything! Didnt like the potatoe salad but it was only a small side.
Tide and Vine Oyster House is so far my fave seafood restaurant in Canada. We were there in March during our trip to see the waterfalls, and it became one of our top favorite restaurants in general. The environment, service, and most importantly the food were all fantastic. The chowder has been the best one I ve ever tried; reg oyster were very fresh with fair price; my bf had the lobster roll which was also delicious. We both enjoyed the meal and we d love to go back again one day
The food is delicious but they nickel and dime you for everything. Overall, we walked away feeling ripped off. Family of 4 including 2 kids. I ordered a drink which was not on the menu but similar to other drinks, and was charged almost 50% more. Same for my wifes drink. 6 oysters came out to $28, double what they should be. Make sure you ask how much is each item you order is if unclear. Otherwise, be ready for a sticker shock when the bill comes. They even charged for extra bread we requested.
Stopped here for lunch while touring the area s wineries. Service was excellent and the seafood was delicious. Being from the East Coast, we expected good seafood and we were not disappointed. Lobster rolls were delicious and the salmon sandwich was also excellent.
Food was delicious. Service was lacking this time around and it wasnt very busy..not sure what was going on in that specific department. But we always enjoy the unique food and dropping money in their shop next store!
Fantastic all day Monday happy hour! Great oysters shucked by Duncan as you can see in the picture. The music was great and our server Carla at the bar was FANTASTIC! Make sure you sit at the bar and ask for Carla and Duncan, great to help with your evening of fun and drinks! And we even met a virgin shrimp, oyster and lobster friend at the bar. We shared in the privilege of taking that virginity. Kind souls, everyone at the bar.
The oysters are very fresh. The lobster claw is very delicious and has a strong taste. The mussels taste between normal and blue mussels. They are very delicious.
A must go whenever we visit Niagara Falls
150 for 2 people, a drink each, shared chowder ($26) lobster roll and steak entree; way over priced for quality and portion, garlic bread tastes like frozen compliment brand, the waitress kept talking about the AC but everyone was dripping sweat
Visited here on our recent trip to Niagara Falls. The food and service was excellent!
Great food, friendly service. If you like sea food great place to go
We arrived at the last booking of the night, and showed up with over double the amount of people of our reservation. No only were they awesome about it and beyond accommodating they let us take over the patio. The food was outstanding! The amount of oysters that needed to be shucked for our group was insane. The drinks were amazing, the staff and manager beyond awesome, the food was absolutely delicious and everything was perfect. Thank you for letting us all in and making sure we had the absolute best night ever. You guys are all amazing!! Much applause from all of us
I can t say enough about this place!! I m sorry I didn t take more photos but I was stuffing my face! Yes it s in a strip mall and no it isn t a strip mall dining experience. My husband and I have traveled near and far and this is hands down the best seafood and service we have ever had!!! I ll start with when we first entered the restaurant. The two hosts, I believe one was being trained at the moment. They both handled and issue with an extremely rude guest with so much poise and class, a guest with zero respect for personal space or trust in them to do their job was basically in this poor girls face demanding to have a table with no reservations and at one point I thought she was going to grab the tablet from the young lady. Anywho they handled it extremely well. Moving on our server Talia (I hope I spelled that correctly) was an absolute gem her personality, passion for the food as well as knowledge was noteworthy to say the least! Talia was genuinely excited it was our first time to Canada, she went into great detail to explain everything from the homemade sauces, gave recommendations, as well as personal favorites. Not to mention told us if you bring your bill next door to the fish market you get a discount . She was a ma zing!!! Now to the food, I am a chef myself in my own kitchen lol but we do have high standards for eating out due to this and don t often go out because well I can make it better at home Toot toot ( yes I know I m tooting my own horn) but this food and dining experience was worth EVERY dollar!!! Starting with my drink My strawberry rhubarb margarita I had well I had three let s just put it that way lol. Perfectly balanced flavor chefs kiss! And they didn t skimp on the alcohol either but be careful it snuck up on me. Strong but couldn t taste anything strong it was a perfect drink! I m no light weight either being in the industry myself lol. So appetizers, we ordered the parm truffle Fries. Normally when we order something with truffle we wonder where our money went because we can t taste it. These fries were AMAZING!! The truffle was definitely there but not over powering also got a dozen assorted oysters, I m a Charleston SC girl raised in Florida so my standards again are high here. These oysters were mudflaps! Big but not ridiculous they were so salty and briny ugh we almost ordered more but we had a fine more food coming. The seafood chowder . GET IT and a BOWL I could have swam in it!!! If we had a way to get it home we would have bought a vat of it. I closely examined it and will attempt to recreate at my family s desperate request! Lobster roll was great as well but they re hard to mess up. The olive oil cake we had with strawberries apricot reduction and a marscapone whipped cream was the cherry on top!! We drove to see the falls but this dining experience was worth the trip alone! As an Italian woman myself, food is a love language to me and my family. This food was a giant kiss! You can taste all the love, care, time, quality ingredients and hard work that goes into this food. It truly was a pleasure dining at your establishment. We did not stop smiling throughout our entire meal. Thank you tide and vine for a rare experience! We will be back if we ever make it up that way again!! Love, the Stricklins
Amazing seafood the oysters were amazing
My bag was lost while eating and I didnt pay any attention to finding it.
The food and drinks here is unreal. Some of the best oysters I ve ever had!
Amazing food and service
The best lobester roll and potato salad in Ontario!
Great food, had a good time in new york.
This is the best food we had all week at Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake! Fabulous halibut, lobster rolls, oysters, and wine. Five star restaurant: 100%!
Haha this was what I got for $178 as a take out. $140 chilled seafood platter which was told that it will be enough for 3 adults. We found cocktail shrimp was missing. we had to go back to restaurant to rescue our 6 poor shrimps. Hahahaha Server said anything else missing? Well, I dont know you tell me. This is my first time visiting your restaurant. Oh yeah!! There was a fish strips and potato we ordered for kids. My 5 & 6 yrs old finished up on the way to our hotel. Two fish sticks were about the same size of the fries. Hahahahha Is fries too thick?Or fish sticks too thin??? Anyways, -over rated on review -ridiculous portion -food? Is just . Ok -service needs serious improvement. I was told that the next open reservation is in 3hrs but over heard the conversation of the same server answering a phone call saying table is first come first served.
Amazing food and service!
Absolutely Delicious and service was excellent.
Its an absolutely amazing place to experience the best seafood not only in Niagara Falls, but arguably the entire Great Lakes region. My wife and I were in Niagara Falls for a three night birthday celebration and our 28th year together. The entire experience was exceptional, but the Tide and Vine Oyster House and Fish Market Team made it JUST WOW! Best service Ive seen in years, great drinks, great fresh seafood options, and just a super fun place to hang out on the patio sipping mezcal, shooting oysters, and digging the talented musician picking his guitar! Seriously, yall got it going on! And, dont forget to stop in the Fish Market next door. Shrimp cocktail, sesame crusted tuna, and pastrami salmon dip to go make for a tasty picnic at the local botanical gardens!
My boss recommended this place before going on our vacation and boy did it not disappoint. Starting off with the chowder, it was extremely hot but delicious. I don t think I ve had a chowder with this much seafood in it, it is a game changer. We then had the scallops and pork. While this one is very good, it is pretty small for the price but packed with flavor. You have to have the cod tacos. This was the shining star, with lots of flavor and crispy goodness. Keep in mind these tacos have pineapple and all kinds of jalapeño in them so they will pack some heat. To finish it off, we had their key lime dessert. It was so damn good. I highly recommend it. Our servings were a bit big so you could share one but it seems to differ between servings.
Fun outdoor eating with great food experience
Great food, that Brussel sprout salad is something special, I would come back just for that alone. Waiter did an amazing job for how busy he was.
All oysters are in fine sizes Salad is so salty Salmon is so hard
Let me just say this we went for Sunday dinner because we wanted to try some.fresh oysters ! The food was super delicious we want to try as much as possible the restaurant its self was clean the waitress was so nice and super knowledgeable when it came to the oysters . The drinks were super good I would recommend the rhubarb margarita!
Tons of delicious seafood options. Great drink menu and very friendly service. I highly recommend coming here.
What an amazing experience this was. We ordered the surf and turf for two special, along with a variety plate. Everything was cooked to perfection. The wait staff were all amazing - special shout out to Sam. Highly recommend!
Celebrated my Wifes birthday there today. We were first time customers. Very impressed, we will happily make the 1 and a half hour drive to go back. The Oysters were amazing, fresh and good size, the home make sauces to go with them were wonderful. We had the lobster roll and the lobster mac and cheese for mains. both were a healthy serving, fresh, the m and c was hot in the skillet. Service was great, very attentive and friendly. we definitely recommend. AND then there is the fish market next door (also Tide and Vine) you have to check that out. we walked away with some salmon and a frozen Lobster Mac and Cheese to have at home another day!
Very welcoming environment. Our server (Richard) gave us amazing suggestions for food and drinks. The food was delicious! You have to try the scallops and pork dish! Highly recommend.
Must come. Must come to eat.
Amazing as always
Great Mussels and incredible chowder. Disappointed with the lobster boil Shame they took their signature dish - coconut shrimp off their menu. Hope they can bring it back. Food
We went for dinner, we had reserved at 7:15 p.m., but we went at 6:30 p.m. and they gave us a table anyway. We had dinner in the inside dining room, but there is a better atmosphere and decoration in the bar, or even on the outside terrace. For dinner we ordered some oysters as a starter, I have to say that it was the first time I had eaten them, and they were spectacular, a good immersion in that world, and at a quite reasonable price, 2 CAD/oyster, being Happy Hour, in fact we ordered At first 6 oysters, and then we ordered 12 more. Then some mussels in sauce, also a very reasonable price at Happy Hour. Very good. To follow was a smoked salmon, incredible. And finally a plate of oysters in tempura, the contrast is very curious. The only drawback we can make is that we asked for a good wine to accompany it, and it cost us 12 CAD per glass, it seemed excessive to us, but it was very good.
First time in this area and had a craving for seafood so we stopped in here. It was the best meal we had! We had a lobster roll filled with a packed full with chilled Lobster covered in a special sauce; it was absolutely delicious. I lived in San Francisco and I had a craving for a clam chowder. That was not available but the seafood chowder was. What a find! It rivaled some of the best chowders I had had. No matter how hard I tried to figure out a way to get back to eat one more round before heading back to Georgia, it didnt work out so I will have to make an express visit at some point in my future. It was that good! To top off the great food, we have excellent service by a young man who was extremely attentive and great to chat with. I hope youll check it out and see if you agree.
Hands down the best meal we had while in Niagara Falls. Top 10 all time meals.
Nailed it. Delicious food. Reasonable prices (for what is being served) and amazing staff. Bravo! Dietary restrictions: Were able to quickly modify my plate to remove lactose. Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu. Crayons and friendly staff.
Racist staff. make sure you dont have a tan when you go there.
My husband found this gem while planning out our trip to Niagara, and it was a culinary and dining highlight! Our server, Emma, was the absolute nicest; super cheery and positive. Richard was working behind the bar but took a minute to draw a puppy on my 3 year old daughters placemat. Just incredibly friendly service. My husband, oldest daughter and I split a dozen oysters (Raspberry Point and Chappell Creek were our favs). My oldest and I got Kats seafood chowder and it was full of flavor and full of fish and shellfish! My husband got the House-smoked salmon served with a variety of accoutrements and a seasoned bagel. My little one got the grilled cheese, and holy heck, it was a grilled cheese fit for a Queen; thick sliced sweet bread and stuffed with three different cheeses - we all stole bites Finally, their Cocktail game is 10/10 epic; highly recommend both the NA and regular Rhubarb Margaritas! My only regret is knowing we dont have a Tide and Vine in Allentown, PA, USA, so we could experience it again and again! Much love and thanks from Pennsylvania! Kid-friendliness: The servers were absolute sweethearts, interacting with both my youngest (3) and oldest (11).
The west coast Oysters were delicious
The oysters and mussels are to die for! The music was so loud and pounding that it just about killed me. But all that didn t matter as much as our server who not only forgot how to wait on a table, she kept forgetting that we were even there. Food : 5/5
Food and service was awesome. I think Julia was our server and she was great!! Gave us some good recommendations and was so kind! Clam chowder and oysters were yummy. We will be back :)
I dined in with my friends, and we were 10 in total, and we wanted to celebrate our last day in college. Our first choice was Red Lobster, but at the last minute, our professor recommended we try this place because she liked the chowder. At first, it was okay; we were accommodated by a friendly server who even helped us to transfer from a smaller table to a longer one. He also took our order and helped us with any questions we asked about the menu. He was very accommodating. But after that, we didn t see him for our entire stay. Our order took more than an hour before it was served. But its okay, maybe because we are a big group. The guy with a long, dark beard serves our food. I asked for a spoon because I ordered a chowder. The chowder was already cold before I was given a spoon. But its okay, maybe its worth the wait, guess what? The chowder was too thick. And because we were celebrating, we politely asked him to photograph us. His reply was rude: No, I can t take a picture; we are very busy right now. Guess how many tables they have? Just 5, including us. But its okay; I have a very long patience. He came back, some of my friends had already left. He sarcastically said, Oh, they left already. Do you wanna take a picture now? Dang, he never failed to disappoint me. If you want to have hypertension, dine here and ask for this server. We ordered two Lobster Boil on our table and were given one cracker. But its okay; I just shared the cracker with my friend. Imagine how much the Lobster boils per order. Roughly $100 each. We shared a cracker that he had already taken, even though I was not yet done using it. Do you have a scarcity of crackers? Should we bring our own? You should ve informed us. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but upon reading all their bad reviews on different platforms, I guess we had the same server who had a weird sense of humour and didnt know what HOSPITALITY was. I would say the guy is racist, and some of the reviews can back it up, even from years ago. And the way they replied on those reviews.. see it for yourself, if you can find some empathy. Here s the fun part: he was standing beside me, and I was reaching for my receipt; guess what he did? He tossed it on the table. AND THAT IS NOT OKAY. I thought I was at KAREN S DINER. I have never experienced this kind of service, only here. OUR TOTAL BILL WAS $500+ PLUS A BONUS OF STOMACH ACHE when we went home. At first, I thought maybe it was just me. But the next day, my friend, who also ordered the Lobster Boil, called me and told me she got a severe stomach ache that night.
Went here for taco Tuesday. Food and service are spot on!!
My wife and a friend were craving for oysters and we found this gem at Niagara Falls. Oysters were soo good esp with their homemade sauces. A little pricey but understandable. Drinks are not refillable. Our server was very knowledgeable and was kind enough to recommend what s good and what s nice to try since it was our first time dining in. Note: Better to go there if you re not that hungry since it takes a while them to serve the food. Parking: Tons of space
Delicious food! Highly recommend the seafood chowder! The bread was so soft and fluffy that we even ordered extra to go with the chowder!
I am very surprised by how many high ratings this restaurant has. I read the reviews prior to going as we were in the mood for lobster and celebrations. Lobster overcooked, steak overcooked. Lobster roll very very bland and meat quite rubbery. Drinks were ridiculously priced . Definitely would not return. Server was nice, oh and the plaza this place is in is super seedy came out to a crackhead trying to open our car door. Very overpriced and at those prices everything should be cooked perfectly
We love this place! Everything was delicious and Tristan was great company at the bar while he was shucking. Clam dip and Green Curry mussels were on point. Bread is delicious...and all day Happy Hour Mondays, you cant go wrong!
Were locals who wanted to try the place that looked both fancy and cozy.
Great food, excellent service
the best oysters in ontario.
We were here six years ago and are glad to see food especially the raw bar remains just as fresh and delicious as then. One star off for slower than expected service but could also be that we were quite hungry already. Nothing disappointed. What a jewel. Kid friendly also!
It was great
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional experience my wife and I had at your restaurant during her recent birthday celebration. From the moment we were seated by Alexa, we felt welcomed and cared for by Rachel. Her attentive service set the tone for the evening. And when Duncan came out to check on us, his friendly demeanor and reggae vibe added a special touch to the celebration. The food was outstanding, and the ambiance was perfect. We truly felt like we were celebrating in a place that understands how to create memorable moments. My wife s birthday dinner exceeded our expectations, and we left with hearts full of joy. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire team. Your dedication to providing exceptional service is commendable, and we look forward to returning soon. Wishing you continued success and many more happy celebrations at your wonderful establishment! Best regards, Ignacio & Carmen
10/10 would recommend and come back again got the Mac and cheese lobster was excellent!
Great food and the friendliest staff!
Awesome restaurant! I cannot recommend the Po Boy and clam chowder enough. They are fantastic.
Laid back place with excellent service and great food. Everything we had was delicious.
Food was great and the staffs were super friendly. Chowder and lobster roll are a must. Good selections of fresh oyster from east and west coast.
Wow, was the food ever good! I loved the sauces, garnish and presentation of the Oysters and appreciated the helpful server who guided us through selecting Oysters to try. The steak tartar was phenomenal and we were happy with the food on the whole. Ill recommend this place to anyone looking for dinner in Niagara!
Service and food are second to none.
Great food, friendly staff. Definitely try the seafood chowder.
Visited for brunch and everything we ordered was amazing. I recommend making a reservation as reservations are prioritized here.
The best dining experience Ive had in the Niagara region in the last 8 years of my life here. Amazing staff and so accommodating and lovely. Knowledgable about the food and full of amazing suggestions. The food was amazing and presented nicely. The space is inviting and pretty. I dont think I have had such a good time out for dinner in such a long time. I cant tell you what to eat, all of the orders that arrived were enjoyed and gushed about. I loved the oysters and Strack tar tar. Ive never had it before but Im picky and it was amazing. Go, enjoy yourself and tell the staff they are amazing, they truly are.
This place does not disappoint!!! Do not miss out on this place. Everything from the atmosphere, to the food/drinks, price and servers is 5 star! Wine selection was expansive, mixed drinks came out tasting right with the smallest tinge of alcohol taste(the way theyre supposed to be made) and consistent. Oysters were fresh, perfectly shucked with four sauces for slathering. Steamed mussels and arancini were both perfectly cooked and delicious. Duck leg was slow roasted and fell apart when using a fork. Risotto was perfectly cooked - not mushy. Server was personable and knowledgeable. (Pictured Duck Leg Confit, Artichoke/Mushroom Risotto with Lobster Tail, East/West Coast Oyster) Kid-friendliness: Multiple groups of families with young children were there when we were eating. The servers were making jokes and involving the children in conversation instead of ignoring them. Kids seemed to love them.
On a negative side, when we arrived 5 min early, have been told to wait (even though there were quite a few empty tables inside). Menu keeps shrinking and lots of dishes this establishment used to cook which we enjoyed in the past are now gone. And, if you are not a big fan of oysters - well, there are really not that many options available. What matters most though: the quality of food and drinks is still very good and despite what I just said they still deserve 5/5.
Absolutely the best . Delicious food. Oysters and knowledge of staff were tremendous. Sauces and freshness of oysters were excellent. Oysters from east and west coast-great selection, alla cart options. I had the duck confit and my boyfriend had the lobster roll. Tremendous quality-incredibly tasteful and moist. I wish words could do it justice. Just go and see for yourself !
Delicious food and good service!
Always enjoy myself here. Never disappointed with the quality here.
We had boiled lobster, but its quite tough. Chowders consistency was really thick. Service was kind of bad. We didnt have an actual server. The guy was just wearing a casual shirt and a cap which looks a little unprofessional. I think he works inside the kitchen too, Im not so sure. We asked for a quick photo but he said he was busy, tho he said hell be back. We simply didnt feel welcomed for some reason.
Worst restaurant ever!! We dined in yesterday for 10 people. The server was so disrespectful. We asked for a photo, but he said no because he was so busy and there were only a few people dining in! We ordered two lobsters boiled, and he only gave us one cracker. We also ordered clam chowder with no spoon; we have to wait for that server for 5 minutes to request a spoon. The worst part is that we re still eating and he s already cleaning the table. He also took the only lobster cracker that we were using. The food was not worth the price. The long-haired server was loud, sarcastic, and disrespectful to us! My friend saw those servers laughing at us after he went to our table. Overpriced food, worst service!! Don t dine in this place, especially if you re Asian!! You don t even deserve 1 star review
I had the pleasure of dining solo at Tide and Vine on a weekday in the off season during a recent visit to Niagara Falls, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The fresh lobster roll was exceptional, boasting a perfect texture and delicious flavour that was very satisfying. The oyster shooter, made with tequila (or one could choose vodka), was a unique and enjoyable treat topped with beef jerky, with the feature Barstool Cocktail oyster from PEI adding a delightful burst. The service was friendly and attentive, with both servers ensuring that I had everything I needed throughout my meal. Despite being on a tight schedule, the quick service was perfect for my half-hour time limit, allowing me to enjoy a delicious meal without feeling rushed. Overall, Tide and Vine is a gem for fresh seafood lovers, offering excellent food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Niagara Falls!
We travel from Guelph several times a year to enjoy the fantastic food at Tide and Vine. Everything about this restaurant is just great. Cocktails, music, service and food are all 10/10. Rachel was our server on this particular visit and she went above and beyond. She is an absolute gem. Thank you so much for a lovely night.
Always a great time! Seafood tower was yummy!
Great food. We had caviar, oysters, steak tartare, seafood chowder, lobster mac, and a hazelnut cake with maple brown butter ice cream. Everything was fantastic and very reasonably priced.
Seafood was fresh and tasty! Also recommend the seafood chowder!
Amazing food and customer service! Went twice within 3 days.
I had the 3 course meal and it was excellent. Tuna tartar and fresh oysters were the beat
Everything was fantastic!
Love the fact they have $2 oysters and half off muscles- (went on a Tuesday) Will be back for that with friends
The place to go in Niagara Falls!
Food was good. however they have so many selections that you have to do a full run and try each one to determine the one you like best. Lobster roll was good but could use a little seasoning. The service was outstanding. Definitely makes it worth a visit
Always a delight Thank you I love your restaurant
