Craft brewery & kitchen Located in the heart of St David’s Modern rustic interior Upscale pub style food specializing in handcrafted beers, pizza and wings
Had a great time at The Grist. The food was exceptional and the beer was great. We will be back next year during our annual visit to the area. The Taco are so huge, will order again.
Excellent place bring a date or have a nice meal with someone. I came with a party of people. The food was excellent and the staff was knowledgeable. I did find it a bit loud to hear a conversation. This is a place to go and try. I'll be back for another meal.
A well kept "secret" hang out in St David's! Everyone passes through here after work on Fridays, hangs out on Saturday/Sunday it is always busy with the opportunity of making new and old connections! The owners are phenomenal - staff are friendly even on extremely busy days when service can be slower than usual. A must the calamari - you can create your own pizza which can be very pricey if you can't limit yourself to a few toppings (but if budget is not a limit) ANY creation will be delicious and worth it. It is not your regular home "pub" it is a place to connect and enjoy anytime any season and a must visit!
Stopped in on a late Sunday afternoon in early November. Parking lot was nearly full. The dining room was full and lively. Short wait for a table of two. Staff was very friendly and happy. Ordered the buffalo chicken dip. Came with plenty of pita slices and chips but was a little too spicy for our liking. The wine list is short and local. Ordered the Mac Smash Burger and the BBQ burger. Both came loaded and hot with a generous serving of fries. Would recommend both choices. All in all a great experience and will definitely recommend to others.
We happened to pass by this brewery on the way to Niagara on the lake, the servers were kind and friendly and were happy to recommend menu items since it was our first time. We got a flight of 4 beers to start and the Mexican street corn appetizer is awesome!! My wife had a pizza which she loved and I had the Philly dough roll which was so different but delicious, we had to take some home because we were so full. I’d highly recommend coming here. To the owners, you need merchandise for sale, much appreciated, patch’s, stickers, those hoodies your staff wear, people would eat them up!! Thanks for a great visit!!
Great little brewery with very lively atmosphere. Perfect place to grab lunch or dinner for anyone and everyone! Fantastic beers too! I really liked the calamari, but my family was raving about the deep fried tortellini....
I recently visited The Grist Craft Kitchen, and it was an absolute delight. The atmosphere is very trendy and chic, making it the perfect spot for a night out or a casual meal with friends. The interior design is modern and warm. As for the food, it didn't disappoint. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, and everything we tried was well-prepared. The drinks, especially their craft beers, were the highlight—refreshing and perfectly suited to the overall vibe of the place. If you're looking for a spot that's both stylish and serves quality food, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Such a cool place! Great atmosphere, great food and great drinks. We had to wait a bit for a table as they don’t take reservations, but the wait was not long at all for a Friday night. Will definitely come back.
Very good, highly recommended
Pizzas and wings were so salty. Wings were also bland and soggy like they were reheated or just sitting out too long. Beer was basic. They only had like two waitresses for the whole crowded place so no service. I dont know how this place has so many positive reviews. Chilis is better (and I dont even like Chilis). Disappointed.
This place is by far the standard to which every restaurant/brewery needs to copy. From food to service it is second to none.
Great Whitehouse pizza, crust was fantastic as were toppings with Arugula and balsamic glaze. Best calamari I have had, almost ever! Great atmosphere and service!
Basic pub food dressed up with nice decor. Came here as a group of 4 and enjoyed the atmosphere but the food was just ok. Had the smash burger, which was uninspiring in both its presentation and taste (run of the mill grocery store bun, over salted fries, basic toppings), as well as a steak sandwich which overwhelmingly tasted like cheese and sauce. Overall, would rather just spend a bit more for higher quality somewhere else in Niagara Ontario The Lake.
Fun microbrewery with fresh food. Was recommended by a local. Definitely worth a visit.
Great decor and food with all the draft beers you can try.
Fantastic food.....sometimes bit of a wait but thats the price for fantastic food I guess
Excellent place to eat with great beer selections
Pizza was above our expectations and the atmosphere had that illusive BUZZ. You won t be disappointed.
The food and service were amazing. Mike was great!
The pizza and beer were great but the smash burger was amazing! Literally the best burger weve ever had and sooooo many gluten free options.
SO SO GOOD. Will make the drive out to St David s just to eat here again. Service was top notch, friendly and attentive. Even their other patrons were a vibe. Had their beers, burger and pizza and everything was delicious. Couldn t recommend this place more. Food
Found the restaurant online when planning getaway. Food, drink and service was amazing. Atmosphere was unique as well. Highly recommended. Enjoyed the steak chimichurri pizza and wings and we werent disappointed.
One of our favourite restaurants in town! Every menu item we have ordered has been amazing!
Disappointing experience! Overcrowded, no available parking, and no reservations allowed. We chose The Grist for our 15th wedding anniversary dinner, hoping for a memorable evening. Unfortunately, it was anything but. We called ahead to check on availability and if they were child-friendly. They assured us that there were a few spots available and that they welcomed children. Perfect, we thought. We arrived within 15 minutes, only to find a chaotic scene. There was a long lineup just to enter the parking lot, extending out to Four Mile Creek Rd, and not a single parking spot was available. After waiting a while, one of us went inside to confirm seating, only to be told there was a 35-minute wait with no waiting area, leaving us to sit in our car. After 30 minutes, we decided we d waited long enough and chose to head home, ultimately enjoying our own home-cooked steaks instead. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise against choosing The Grist, especially for special occasions or when you are really hungry. Their lack of organization and disregard for guests comfort made it clear they don t value their patrons time or experience. Thank you, The Grist, for reminding us of the value of a peaceful meal at home.
Excellent food, employees, service, atmosphere. Could have done without the hour wait for a table. I dont understand why reservations cannot be made. Seems to me it would run much more smoothly for everyone involved.
Had an enjoyable lunch with a few friends, food was exceptional! Atmosphere was very nice as well.
Specials of the day pizza and burger both fantastic! Couldnt ask for better food or service!
It was Overwhelmingly loud, but the food was absolutely amazing.
My husband and I love this place since its so close to our house. Our favorite go to place to get a quick beer and wings, also love the fish and chips. Weve been at Grist many times. We always have a great experience but last Sunday, Sept. 22,2024. We came to eat at around 6:30. We were seated quick but then came our server. She didnt introduce herself, ask our order in a hurry and left. Came with the drinks wrong, drop it in our table and left. My husband called her attention to let her know that my drinks were wrong. She didnt even apologize, got the right drink and loudly drop it on our table. The whole time we were eating, she never came back and ask if we need anything else.We could have had another drink. Not sure what her problem was but she should have not allowed to work with that attitude. She was at the bar and had dropped 2 glasses and broke. We could have a wonderful evening but it was not a good experience at all.
Amazing restaurant around NOTL region to go to with a group of friends before heading to some winery. Service was great and responsive. Their food were amazing and tasty. We mainly got shareable dishes. We ordered their tachos, Mediterranean frizzles, and poutine. The server warned us how big the tachos are and indeed that s a large portion of food. The tacho was able to feed a group of 5 adult and 1 kid. Overall, this was an amazing place to grab some nice lunch and will definitely go back.
Here you can get typical American cuisine at a reasonable price. We were there on a Saturday afternoon around 4 p.m., the store was really full. In the evening you definitely need a reservation. The BBQ burger and the salad with buffalo wings were great. And by the way, the fries were the best in the last 3 weeks.
I really enjoyed my meal at Grist! Very high quality food for an extremely fair price. We got the pretzel to begin with which was massive and easily fed three of us. Then onto pizza which was excellent, even cold later that night as leftovers! Owners and staff were kind and friendly, and the building vibes are awesome. You can t go wrong here!
Love Everything! Excellent food Excellent customer service Owner always present, ensuring our visit is perfect!
second time at the Grist, this time the service was good pace and the food was amazing. I enjoyed lunch with friends, the poke bowl was fresh and tasty, the blue cheese and pear pizza ticked all the boxes and we enjoyed a pretzel and hot cheese dipping sauce which was well made and savoury. The service was lovely thank you Daniel for taking care of us.
This is an amazing place to come with your family, friends or a date. The place feels cozy and beautiful. The food is tasty and the portions are very generous. The service is great and although the restaurant was full we didnt have to wait long. The price-quality relationship is great and the staff is amazing. We tried a couple of beers and they were good. Ill definitely visit again and is now one of my favorites in the region.
We reserved the room upstairs for a private function, and it was amazing! Beautiful night with the garage door window open. Great service. Drinks are reasinably priced and the Food was amazing! Thank you!
Pros - service was friendly and timely The TACHOS!! And beer Cons - no reservations and parking is limited as it is always busy A must try for the food but be prepared to wait 30-45 mins. My husband and I luckily only had to wait 10-15 mins for our table
Ive been going to the Grist ever since it opened. Ive sent family, friends and clients there and its always been good until today. My wife and son and I went for lunch and I ordered a make your own pizza. When it arrived the dough was not good, it had no crust, it was over cooked and missing toppings. They made a new pizza and when it arrived my wife and son were almost done their meal and this time it was undercooked. I didnt say anything because then my family would be sitting there while I ate. So I ate some of it and brought the rest home where I can cook it. As I said, its been good until today. Hopefully this is just a one-off.
My husband and I had lunch here for the first time ever. It came recommended by a couple friends. We were not disappointed. We were seated promptly and our server was there almost immediately. Our server was Megan and she was absolutely attentive. We had the buffalo chicken dip for an appetizer. I would have loved some more chicken in it but it came with more than enough pita and chips. My husband had the BBQ Smash burger which I tried and it was so mouth watering! I had the Gristian power bowl and added chicken and cheese. Im not usually a fan of pickled beets but they were so good in this dish. We shared the apple cinnadippers for dessert and those were amazing. Overall we were very happy with everything and we cant wait to come back again to try something else because the menu is extensive and everything sounds amazing! Thank you Megan for such a pleasant experience.
The Gnocchi was just a 23$ bowl of mashed potatoes. Not sure if there was even any flour or egg. Was not the consistency of a real gnocchi at all. As I would pick up each on, they would just disintegrate. And simply mixing it up totally destroyed the integrity of them making them looks like and taste like a bowl of mashed potato s with pesto.
Pizza was good, service is/was brutal. Have been here numerous times and the pizza was great. That s all the stars are for. The last two times we ve visited, including today, brutal service. Today we arrived and left. Rude hostess and am a little turned off from visiting going forward. Not only did she roll her eyes when answering a question, she had the audacity to tell us that it would be easier for us to go to the bar to get our drink directly. Excuse me? What are we tipping for then?
Ive visited The Grist multiple times, and it never disappoints. The food, ambiance, and service are always excellent, with reasonable prices and generous portions. Be sure to try their smash burgers!
It was such an amazing lunch at The Grist. Dan was our server and he was incredibly friendly. Had an amazing lunch.
A must visit!!!
Awesome food and atmosphere
I was about to complain about the long wait but it was definitely well worth the wait! The pulled pork Mac and cheese was soooo flavourful and perfect! The Philly cheesesteak thing is huge and also delicious! Our server was super sweet and attentive without being annoying. Shout out to Sam! Highly recommend and will definitely be going back again.
Had a great pizza (peaches on it, who knew that would be tasty?). Also had a glass of wine. Wonderful atmosphere. Very busy but we got in fairly quickly. We were there on a lovely Friday afternoon at 2, so thought our wait would be much longer. Superb customer service from Danielle and Alex. Will definitely be going back to this gem.
Excellent..... broccoli app insanely good ....
Great atmosphere, food, drinks. Server very friendly!! Gluten free options available! Best restaurant I ve been to in a while:) drove from Burlington to see what the hype was and this restaurant is worth the drive
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu good price and value for kids meals and music is loud enough that noisy kids won t be a bother to others but not so loud you can t have a conversation. Food
I m glad I live 2 hours away from the Grist. I d spend all my money there if I lived in the area. Just try it. Slap n tickle pickle burger!!! Crazy good. Food
A wonderful first time visit from out of town. The beers were delicious, food was yummy with large portions and a beautiful atmosphere. We would definitely come again and recommend.
I see there are lots of great reviews however its unfortunate to say this isnt one & we wont be returning to the Grist. We were very excited to try it for the first time however encountered several issues.I understand it was busy however every customer matters. Once seated we had no cutlery and got quite the look when we asked. Mac and cheese was dry, mushroom ristotto not only tasted like dirt there was a hair in it and took sometime for a remake (which we arent even sure was a fresh one) and no complementary gesture was made. Not even a quick swing by to checked to see how we were doing or how the not so great food was. It was more than disappointing as I brought out of town guests.
Worst service. We didnt even get 1 persons order until end, soggy fish tacos. Terrible! Go somewhere else.
Went today for the first time! Food was excellent drinks were great and the bartender was amazing cant wait to go again! Cheers
Worst place ever. Tasteless chicken wings and pizza, and on top of everything they put limit on the time you eat there - 90min. Never will visit again, stay away.
We were upstairs for a wedding reception. Perfect little atmosphere with a private bar.
This is a great place to go for casual meal. Great summer atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, and all the food we ve had has been fantastic Owners are usually onsite and incredibly friendly and personable The tachos (nachos w tater tots ) are amazing (and I don t even like tater tots). Bring your appetite.
The menu is so huge, and its all amazing. I just keep asking the waiter/ess each time to bring me something they would eat, and ive constantly been happy.
Excellent food service and ambiance
A visit to NOTL is not complete without a visit to the The Grist ! The food is amazing and all the staff are incredible. The owners Robert and Danielle are so attentive and kind. It is always an awesome experience every time we go.
The Grist does NOT disappoint EVER! We come here often and have always experienced an amazing vibe, amazing food and amazing staff! And to top it off, you get to see the owners who are absolutely lovely! If you are in the area, don t miss out!
First time went with our friends food and service was excellent. Second time last night we waited less time and food was not good. We ordered the nachos but was too salty and our waitress was terrible. We ordered extra salsa and she never came back with it until our meal was over. We also ordered pizza and was the worst I ever had. I can t recommend this time.
The food is pretty good but I had a hair in my food this most recent visit. The reason I have 3 stars is the service. It gets very busy here and the staff simply cannot keep up. The bartender wouldn t let us keep a tab open and was probably overwhelmed but came off as very rude and impatient with us. Our waitress kept forgetting our waters and request for a side of sauce and I even waited about 35 minutes for my beer to come out. I ended up having to ask the hostess for help because our waitress went missing for about a half hour. Not sure I ll go back it took two of us 3 hours to have dinner with no apps or desserts, and the food wasn t good enough to be worth it. I do not recommend the Mac n cheese it didn t really have any cheese on it. But the burger was really good as are the tachos and the fish fry is good
Okay, it s simply not as good as a 4.7 would lead you to believe. It really doesn t deserve that high a rating. Listen it s not BAD, it s just pretty basic stuff for what you pay. The drinks are good, I will say that. Their lager is a very good craft lager and there aren t too many of those around. We got the nachos because they were talked about being a must have but they were just okay and it was literally an insurmountable pile of nachos. Like I m not kidding we left with two full pizza boxes on the way out. And we looked and them like why the hell did we take these? And threw them out. We ordered a pizza and it s was just okay too. Sauce wasn t present, the bread was mediocre, it was more of a flatbread than a pizza. If you re looking for a bite in the area and it s around - it s fine, but I wouldn t wait the 30 minutes like we did.
Service to tables was great but while Waiting at bar for table ordered and paid for 5 drinks. 10 minutes later bar tender said I did not pay when I already had paid. Accused me of not paying and he would check the tape . Then he realized he had made a mistake with not only my bill but someone else s bill. The bartender was too busy watching his fantasy football scores on his phone or has a very short memory. Not happy about the incident.
amazing and quick service. every staff we encountered with was extremely friendly and attentive, recieved all our food within 10 minutes and it was amazing.
Beer was good. Calamari wasnt crispy how we normally like it but very good. Mac and cheese was ok. Jalapeno roll was tasty and filling. Cook had phone on cutting board where food is. Touching phone then food which was a big turn off. Had to get our own cutlery. And table was extremely sticky.
Food was fantastic, the server was great. We will be back!
Great lunch spot, and surprisingly busy for a Wednesday. The vibe was great and the pizza was excellent! They only have one hazy IPA and it s a double, so buckle up. Otherwise - solid selection of beers. Will come back on future trips to Toronto!
Food is trash dont come here and its really busy all the workers are over worked we waited 1 hour for our main dishes
I am currently sitting at the bar in the grist, unexpectedly, for a drink and a snack. I have watched the servers/bartender run around like crazy to provide top tier service. Martina (server) took the time to chat with me, even though I wasnt seated in her section, on multiple occasions. Liam(bartender) was fast, pleasant and engaging. During your visit, I highly recommend requesting Martina as your server. She is sassy, witty and prompt, everything i look for in service. She truly makes your experience and I will he back because of her. The food is unmatched. The baked brie, Dill with it & saint Theresa pizza are phenomenal. I commend the owners for being present on the floor and very in the mix of operations. 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an delightful experience, start to finish.
The Grist = a top-level establishment for its genre / style. Attention paid to all details including ambiance, exterior, menu, cuisine, craft beer, experience and all the intrinsic intangibles in between. Owner always makes a point of not only saying hello but conversing a few minutes. By contrast to a saccharine world of anonymous mediocrity operated by uncreative Karens, The Grist resurrects originality by force of personality. Every local restaurant, bar and winery owner should visit and take note/s. - winetourniagaraadventure.com
Love this place. Im never let down here and the food is amazing and the service, the owner is always there and always working hard
Just wow!
Wonderful late lunch. Everyone is so kind. The atmosphere is so amazing. Our server could not have been kinder. We loved it. Second time and it was even better.
This is our second time here first time was great service great food. This time the food was great when it finally arrived after 1 hour. An apology from the owner who said no worries we are sorry and we will take care of everything. In the end we got our food after about 1 hour and 15 minutes had a few bites and asked for the bill. When we received the bill they gave us a very small discount on the food Thats a disappointment when the owner comes over to apologize and said Ill take care of it. Dont think I will revisit they are starting to lose there edge. By the way dont sit at the bar a lot of local belligerent and loud bar flys.
We accidently stumbled upon this place while passing by and decided to stop by to have lunch. It was a great decision as the experience was top notch. The restaurant is very clean, trendy, nicely decorated and a very good vibe overall. The service was awesome and it felt like a family environment. Staff was very interactive and friendly. The best part...the food was incredible. Probably the best pizza I had in my life. Fish tacos were also very tasty and I loved the beer I ordered. Safe to say we will be back again!
The Grist is a hidden gem in Niagara and a culinary experience I recommend. The parking situation is tricky but worth the effort. The restaurant has very interesting indoor and outdoor seating areas which seemed very busy. There is even a second floor with more seating. We tried the Mac Smash burger which was delicious. Most people ordered pizza which we left for a future visit. Dessert we had was deep fried cheesecake which was a favourite and very savoury and the sticky toffee pudding which was great but very rich in sweetness. Overall a restaurant to add to the repeat visit list. Check out the video: https://youtu.be/9YZssYfgws4?feature=shared
The food was quite good, pizza was slightly overrated, other than that everything else we had was as expected. Service was speedy for a packed house and everyone was cheerful. Place was buzzing, quite loud from everyone conversing but also to be expected at a packed brewery. Parking: When busy you have to park down the road at a greenhouse, atleast there is secondary parking. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, everyone was nice to our children
Just had the most amazing experience and lunch at grist!!! From the wait staff to host and bartenders , everything was amazing . The beers were great and food exceeded our expectations. Potions are very large . My husband and 2 teens couldn t finish everything.. Thank you very much for the food and great service!! Can t wait to come back.
My burger was delicious! Patty had nice flavour and the mixture of toppings brought the taste to a whole new level! I m not a beer drinker but the selection they had to offer from was immense! Will definitely be back I want to try everything on their menu!
This place is absolutely outstanding! Recommended by numerous locals, including fellow business owners in the area, I knew we would include this place as a must on our long weekend vacation. It did not disappoint. Hands down the best food we had all trip. The wings, dill pickle pizza and Cuban sandwich are phenomenal. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and just an all around great spot.
Always excellent food and service.
After a Shaw festival matinee we wanted to try somewhere different outside of the busyness of downtown NOTL so we visited The Grist for the first time. It will NOT be the last! We were seated promptly which was a pleasant surprise for a Saturday night at dinner-time. The food came quickly and was wonderfully hot! And so delicious!! So many tempting options on the menu means we ll be back again to try some of their amazing food! For the first visit, I had the smoke and steak pizza. OMG! So good! I m not a beer drinker but it looked like they have some very interesting brews. My glass of peach wine was excellent, though.
I ll start by saying The Grist is outstanding from the time we gave our name to when we got seated, now I m I guy that is a foodie and love to cook. I got the The Chicago Stuffed Animal Deep Pan Pie, my wife had open calzone and my son fish & chips. Now back to my meal this thing was so good and I mean Good I did not want to eat it if that even makes sense, it just was sooooo GOOD Dan was are server and he was amazing. This was my first time here, so if you never been you are in for a treat, heck this place is so good I wrote my first review Thanks The Grist I ll be back One last thing the deep fried cheese cake is awesome
Best pizza and wings in Niagara!
Grist is a jewel of a find. Great atmosphere, excellent pub fare and pleasant service. My wife has celiac and they were very accommodating. The open air vibe provides a coastal experience. Definitely recommend! Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly
Refused to pay?? I came to this restaurant with my family and ordered the bacon mac and cheese. Unfortunately, it was not to my liking; I found it dry and unflavoured. When I told my server, they took it to the kitchen and brought it back re-sauced . Being inattentive, 15 minutes later she asks if I like it, to which I say that it is still the same. I ended up not eating any of the dish except for a couple test bites. For my dinner, I had to take shares from my family. When the bill arrived, we were (to my disappointment) charged for the bacon mac and cheese, despite my discontent and not eating of that dish. After explaining to the server kindly that I didn t feel it was fair to charge us for that specific dish, she said she would talk to the manager. When the second bill arrived, without the charge, I found it quite upsetting to find the receipt reading refused to pay . Not only was I not asked whether I wanted to order another meal in exchange, but the care and service stained my night with my family. As a current worker as a bartender/server, I personally find these restaurant actions unacceptable. While I may go again, if I experience another service like this here, I d cross this off my list. On a positive note however, other than the bacon mac and cheese, my family really enjoyed the wings and tachos! The wedge salad is absolutely delicious!! Definitely something to order!
Our first visit to The Grist. The server was friendly and informative. The fish and chips was very good; the pizza was a bit light on ingredients.
Great food, and I enjoyed their blond beer. This is a must try place.
Great beer, great food
My very best friend and I love to go to different places for lunch. August 1st we decided to go to The Grist Craft Kitchen and Brewery in NOTL. The Grist doesn t take reservations. Having said that we waited only 20 minutes to be seated. Beautiful decor, the patio high seating is open to the inside via glass windowed garage doors, great selection of food, very comfy seating, very popular place, it was full this day on the patio and inside, beautiful lighting, top notch very attentive, personable servers, very delicious food. A special thank you to Sam who made our visit memorable. From her excellent customer service to her enthusiastic and efficient manner. It can be noisy when it s full but a lot of places are. I had a Vodka/cranberry so good. I decided to have the AHI POKE BOWL: Ahi Tuna over rice, surrounded by seaweed salad, shredded carrots & cucumber, edamame, pickled turnips, avocado, teriyaki mushrooms, Awahoo drizzle & black sesames. So fresh, healthy, absolutely delicious. A must have!!!! I ll definitely order it again. My friend had the GRISTIAN POWER BOWL: Quinoa surrounded by cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots, cucumber, edamame, pickled beets, avocado & hard boiled eggs drizzled with Thai & Korean drizzle, black sesame. My friend loved the bowl but thought the sauce was too spicy for her. Sam, who was our server, took it back to the kitchen and brought out a bowl without the sauce. Sam also brought out a side of salad dressing for her. A special thank you to Sam and the kitchen. We ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!!!! Vegetarian options: Risotto, Gnocchi, Ahi Poke Bowl, Gristian Power Bowl, other salads. Parking: The Grist is very popular. The parking is free but the lot does fill up fast. We were there for lunch and got a spot luckily.
Excellent beer flights! Especially liked the Ruby Slippers Sour, Duelling Dragons DIPA, Red Cream Ale and Dreamsicle. Really nice indoor/outdoor setup. Wow the pizza and nachos looked amazing but wed already had dinner, so next visit well get food there.
Wow, this place is amazing. The entire atmosphere of the place is also so cool and I saw someone with this HUGE bucket of nachos that are called tachos and I think its 24 CAD which isn t even bad for the amount of food you get. I got the creamy pesto gnocchi which was a special and it did not disappoint. The gnocchi almost melts in your mouth and the pesto is delicious. The New Yorker pizza is also good but the pepperoni does have a kick so if you can t handle any spice I wouldn t get that. Overall a great place and if you re in the area I definitely wouldn t skip this place. Parking: Decent amount of parking spots. Kid-friendliness: They do not have a kids menu.
Somewhat off the beaten path, the Grist is a semi hidden gem. The staff was very friendly, and the food excellent. It has a cool unique vibe and is definitely worth a stop.
First time visiting the Grist and I must say the food was simply amazing. Our group all loved our food. The waitress (cant remember her name) was SUPER FRIENDLY. If you havent been you are missing out. Keep up the great work EVERYONE.
I can t give enough stars this place is awesome. Our servers were fantastic. The food was perfect. Lots of attention and care put into the menu with the freshest ingredients with a lighthearted fun in the names and a very cool vibe. Server Kayden was on his A game.
Food - 10/0 Charred Brussels, New Yorker pizza and Mac & cheese. All the dishes were exceptional. I Ambience - 10/0 Service - 6/10 Cleanliness - 7/10
Delicious!
Went for a late Father s Day lunch with my two daughters and grandson have dined there before always received great service amazing food choices accompanied by a great vibe place was hopping for a Friday afternoon Rob stopped by our table to say hello and offer me a sample of his Mexican lager (which was excellent!!!) NOTLakes hidden gem our favourite for sure !!! Parking: When the restaurant is busy parking could be an issue but there is additional parking 5 minute walk away Kid-friendliness: Patrons & staff appear to enjoy sharing their space with the kids Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp located close to their 2 handicapped parking spots
The tachos are an insane deal!
Great food, great service
Great food (best pizza Ive had the spicy honey) good service and a great atmosphere also well priced
Please consider storing your pizza dough differently or have the fans at the pizza station. With all the garage doors open and the pizza dough sitting out it was covered in flies. I was so looking forward to pizza until I saw that.
Great little gem around the corner. We tried going when we first moved here three yes ago. We could never get a table so we stopped trying. Weve learned to arrive before 5:30. Its small, busy, noisy, and amazing. We love it and Amy time its my husbands turn to cook, we go to Grist!
Went last night and was very impressed!! Food was wonderful, server was attentive and quite pleasant. Restaurant is beautiful inside and outside! We had bacon Mac and cheese and and smokin steak pizza, starting with the sea monsters , calamari, all 3 were so tasty!!! We will be back for sure
Great atmosphere. Friendly service. We had the tachos and pizza. The food was amazing!
If you are in the Niagra area, head out to The Grist. The Tachos are served in a keg top and are amazing. You need to go here, the food portions are huge and its delicious. Parking: They do have overflow parking down the street.
We had an amazing lunch at Grist. The staff was amazing as always shout out to the wonderful service from Caden. The food is amazing the place is gorgeous - the only complaint is that if you don t get there early you might not get a table. Thankfully we were early and had a wonderful meal
Another fabulous meal at the Grist today! This is our favourite spot in town! The staff are amazing and the food is consistently delicious!
Super busy place! We come often and are never disappointed! Food is absolutely top notch and staff are too! The owner is very friendly and always there! And everyone works their butts off as it s always packed. Waitresses are never cranky even tho we know how hard they work! Love this place!
Looking for a place to have a bite and a drink and were recommended the Grist in NoTL. These guys get busy on a summer day on the weekend, so if youre not in a hurry, slap your name on the waiting list and go grab a pint or drink at the bar. If youre lucky enough like we were to end up having a seating spot at the bar, you can cancel your reservation and eat straight there.... Personally, its always better at the bar... You see the action, you get good service, cant go wrong! These guys make their own beer and the IPA and Italian Pilsner we tried were on point and refreshing! They also sell what seems to be konzelmann wines and the prices are very reasonable for those! Food was tasty, but the dough on our pies was a little too thick for our taste. Still a good stop with a great view!
Went here on a Saturday evening after wine tasting . The place was full but the hostess accommodated our group of 8 outside by the benches.. we couldn t wait that long. However , it became clear why the place was so busy the food was pretty good and the service A+ . I ordered pizza , 2 of them as I saw the next table with the Salami pizza and realized that what I was craving . So had that and the beef smoke . Both soo good. I keep thinking about salmi pizza which should have honey on it but I m not a fan so had it without honey. So much meat and flavour and cheese and perfect crust. My group all enjoyed their meal and were very appreciative of the service here. Will defo be back when I m in the neighborhood.
Beautiful place located 20-mim away from Niagara Falls. Service was great and food amazing too! They have a pet-friendly patio as well. Food : 5/5
They seated our family of 6 virtually instantly at the outside picnic table area despite our being a busy Friday night at 7 pm when we arrived. This worked perfectly for us since our youngest likes to get up and move around a bit during mealtime (especially since he had spent most of the day in the car from Ohio). The initial drink order showed up promptly, and the appetizers not long after. Our waitress came back 4 more times to make sure everything was topped off and we had a great experience. The menu has so many items on it including at least 3 chef inspired creations (youll have to ask what they are since they change periodically) I wish we lived closer! It was worth the drive to get away from the touristy area/restaurants near the Falls. Kid-friendliness: Lets of patrons talking so noisy kids disappear into the background. Good kids menu.
The Grist is very popular and for good reason, the Tachos is sublime (see below) and the pizzas are delicious. If you arrive in the middle of the evening you might have a bit of a wait, but its worth it. The place to see and be seen in the area! A must! During my 2nd visit, I noticed that the still large Tachos unfortunately lacked toppings. Suggestions: Fewer Nachos and more toppings please
Great staff, great food. Pet friendly.
Great place in St.Davids! Charred Brussels were fantastic and both pizzas were great. We will be coming back. Food
What a great spot in Niagara wine country! Youll find The Grist brew pub in St. Davids and it is well worth a visit. A great ambiance and staff is only surpassed by the fantastic menu. Talk about creative food presentation and attention to detail, everything here was top notch -- from apps to desserts. It is clear that a lot of attention to detail went into not only the menu but the presentation and preparation as well. Highly recommended and family friendly too.
Excellent food. Great service. Food
Wonderful time, love the special menu wording, little humans .Try the Dirty Dawg!
Amazing food and service.
Yum, Yum, Yummy, Yum!! <3 Stopped by today on our way home from Niagara on the Lake, The Grist did not disappoint. Had the most wonderful and friendly server Michael . Keep up the amazing work Grist!!
Wife and I went on a Saturday. It was BUSY. Waited about 30 min for a table. Ordered a New Yorker and side fries. What arrived was a plain cheese pizza and large fries. They apologized, left us the large fries and charged us for a side size without us having to ask - nicely done. The New Yorker came very shortly after and no doubt was bomb, like, really delicious. Sauce was rich, cup and char was super salty in a great way and the dough was pillowy and soft with some base crisp. Maybe a little heavy handed on the cheese but a solid 9.2/10 for me. Leftovers were even better heated up two days later. They also comped us 25% on the pizza without us having to ask - nice touch. Didnt order any fried fish but saw it being served and it looked mighty fine. We did go stretches of 20min without anyone checking in and did have to ask for basic things like plates and Ketchup. Felt like they just needed more people. Will be back but not at peak busy!
Food was excellent, atmosphere is new and very nicely decorated. It gets very busy and the wait was 45 minutes so we enjoyed a drink at the bar until a table was open. The only downside is the parking lot is not big enough so we had to park down the street at nacho business and walk in the rain. Would return but not on a weekend. Parking: Not enough parking spots and we were told to park down the street in nacho businesses lot
The food is the best. The beer, which they make, has many choices, and all are delicious. The service is terrific, but they are just too busy. Great atmosphere. I wish I could go more often, but it is just too busy. Parking: There is another lot, two minutes from.the restaurant for overflow parking.
My nephew has been hyping the Tachos at Grist for weeks, and when we finally made it there on this past weekends roast trip, I was excited to try them. They lived up to his hype! I think he was hoping for leftovers, but among us, we demolished the whole tray of Tachos. Beer, of course, was also a draw. I has my pick before we even sat down - Here Comes The Sun - a pineapple and tangerine sour. Delicious. We sat on the second patio, and inspite of a little rain, we were sheltered by the umbrellas. Martina was such a friendly helpful staff member!
We went for dinner on the first night of my bachelorette per my parent s recommendation as they had a wonderful experience their first time there. The hostess was so kind and accommodating for our group of 7, and got us seated quickly. Our server was friendly, helpful and had the prettiest blue manicure. The food was nothing short of incredible. The Brussel sprouts are a must order. The poutine was yummy, and the pizzas were so so so good. We will be frequenting here every time we come back to the area/ Vegetarian options: Bruschetta pizza
No better spot in town to stop in for lunch. Great selection of both food and beer.
Good vibes at the Grist. It was a blast, Friday lunch crowd was busy but service still was fantastic. It was a gorgeous day so the whole building was opened up, really felt like a summer day there. I had the Cubano which was great. The burgers were also a big hit with my party. I d say like hipster pub food? Really good mix of filling menu items that hit the spot. Oh and also the beer was cold and good. It reminded me a bit of a big city microbrewery you d find in the States but with a Niagara rural setting. Really fun spot will definitely return.
This place does not disappoint! Looking for the best nachos around! The Grist will not disappoint! Not only are you going to get an over the top portion of nachos layered perfectly, the presentation is perfection, and the price point perfection again! Don t be afraid to ask for extra sour cream and salsa because our lovely server Maia, was quick to bring us some no worries at all! After trying to find the best nachos around since Covid, hands down check this place out, you will not be disappointed! The world would be a better place if more establishments did business like these guys!! Thanks for offering this area a true GEM to eat at! Wishing you all the best, in the future! Can t wait to come back and try all the other creations zooming by the table! Not one dish looked disappointing in this place!! Cheers!
My friend and I took our dogs and had lunch on their patio. Firstly the staff was incredibly friendly and considerate and made sure the pups had lots of water on this hot day. We had fish tacos that were soo tasty and paired amazing with their pineapple cider. 10/10 for food and vibes - definitely would eat here again!
Celebrated my birthday at The Grist and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely amazing, especially the pizza - it was a slice of heaven! And lets talk about their in-house brewed beer, it was top-notch. The servers and owners went above and beyond to make our celebration perfect. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made the evening special. Cant wait to go back for another delicious meal and fantastic atmosphere!
Wonderful place to eat and drink. Amazing food! Portions are great and staff is super nice.
Some of the best food I have had in quite some time. The flavors were awesome. The combination of food choices were on point. The nachos are absolutely huge, the rest of the servings were plentiful as well. I will definitely be back, the next time I am in Canada.
Not always the easiest place to get a table but when you do, the menu absolutely does not disappoint. The London Fog stout is a work of art and their burgers are amazeballs!
Pretzel was great, good atmosphere as well
Great food, great energy. Our server Maegan was awesome. Felt like we were at home. Pizza, wine and beer were great!!
First time here, and definitely not the last. Food was outstanding. Pizza was some of the best I ve ever had, nachos were crazy good, service was fantastic and the ambiance was so cool and chill. We will absolutely be coming back, and highly recommend.
Went to The Grist last night for dinner as a group of 5. We order the Tachos and calamari to start. The Tachos were amazing and the portion size absolutely HUGE!! The calamari was delicious! I ordered the Yo Adrian pizza and it was fantastic!! Everyone else in the group loved their meals as well, Slap and Tickle Pickle Burger and the fish and chips. The service was fast friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much to ask or an inconvenience. The owners are two of the nicest hardest working people youll ever meet. Highly recommend!!!
What a great find. This place is amazing. Best pizza and staff ever!
Great Service given by attentive servers and food tasted so good! forgot to take a photo of the blue drink i think it was called tip of the smurf but I absolutely loved mine it s the orange sunrise drink i think is what s it called.
Awesome pizza and beer
By far the best pub restaurant in Niagara, the food was outstanding Liam was the best 1000/10
There wasnt one food I ate or saw that tasted and looked delicious. We will definitely be back Kid-friendliness: Every waiter or waitress say hello. They are dressed nicely
We stopped in on a whim for drinks and appetizers, and we were not disappointed! The vibes were spot on, super relaxed and fun. We decided on chicken wings to eat, and they were the BEST wings we ve ever had! Our server Megan was AMAZING and very tentative and personable. Definitely a must go to if you are in the area!
As always great food, service & prices. The Tachos to die for if you can manage the whole thing! Then pizza & wedge salad all washed down with a couple beer flights.
Took my mom for a lunch. We had the tacos on Cinco de mayo which were great! Also tried the Earl Grey stout and liked it very much! Super unique flavour Food
Our first time here. Fun gastro pub menu with lots of choices. We shared the giant Bavarian pretzel (a MUST have) and our mains were the cajun shrimp tacos and the shared ahi tuna bowl, both delicious. Prices are reasonable (relative to the area) and the service was great. Only issue: this was our 6th try for lunch and we had to go really early this time (11:15 am) as they dont take reservations.
Great brewery, grill, and atmosphere. Delicious smash burgers and more.
out of town - asked the hotel reception what she recommended, came here. asked what the bartender what he recommended, ordered this - 11/10 would go again
We went on a Friday night, at 730ish, where the venue was full. As a bartender myself I know how much these times are complete chaos. We managed to slip into barstools upstairs (which is the best anyway!) I was pleasantly overwhelmed with every facet of service. From start to finish. Every single interaction with every staff member was positive! The food is outstanding. The hostess was incredible at navigating the list, times, and greeting new guests. Every single part of our experience was amazing. The bartender upstairs took the time to chat with us a little even though he was clearly busy, and through this we found out the owner was in it supporting their staff! I observed servers communicating with each other with seamless skill. It gives me the chills. I wish there was more I could say to give props where it s deserved. Ive been in the industry for many years and I have been blown away by The Grist. Fantastic job. Well done. I ll be back every chance I get!
Great meal and service. We are never disappointed
We stopped in here on our way to explore NOTL. Amazing does not begin to describe our experience. The service and atmosphere were excellent. The food did NOT disappoint! We were pleasantly overwhelmed with the Tachos (of which we could not finish) and we took the Honey Thats Spicey pizza to go and had it for lunch the next day - it was superb! Wishing we had some place like this locally!
One of the best brewerys around, there is a beer for everyone here. Amazing beer is just where it starts, the menu is huge which most of the time means bland meals... not at the grist. We got an assortment of appetizers which were all flavourful, hot and delicious. If you are hungry get the nachos, they are huge. We got some pasta and a few pizzas that were all amazing with fresh tasting ingredients. You can tell they take pride in every aspect of the place! I would recommend this place over any other around!
Not a great experience, and not worth it how busy it was. Staff were Ok, so busy they didnt really engage much, but understandable. First of all, the floor was incredibly slippery which was super off putting, and dangerous. The wings were delicious! But the pizza Just Produce was soooo underwhelming. Flavours were not well balanced at all, it was just too try hard, way too savoury, in a very bad way. Salad was also disaster with horrible presentation, shouldnt have been served whatsoever, and when questioned- the server just blamed it on new staff. 0 accountability or standards in this kitchen it seems. But the beer was good. Also side note- not the reason I wouldnt come back, but the decor was confusing, really lacks direction and flow. Just seemed slapped up by someone who has money to burn, not creative whatsoever. Almost comedic Lol. All in all, I wont be back.
Amazing
Update..just tried their Popeye pizza and its delectable! The thin dried? lemon slices are a unique addition! Keep surprising us local regulars with your special recipes! Love that its not too salty as well. Ppl can always add it if they want. Original post: Third time here and its an absolute delight. Menu is casual and on point. Have enjoyed beer flights, sangria, tachos, pizza, calamari, and wings. The decor is fresh and modern from the signature chandeliers to the weathered wood and bedrock granite. No detail missed. The servers are friendly and Rob the owner, manages to make the rounds even on incredibly busy nights. We love to stroll down there for a late dinner. Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a ramp. Not sure about washroom though. Call restaurant to be sure.
The Grist is definitely one of the better restaurants in the area, but our mains left something to be desired. Particularly, my main (Mac Smash) was lacking the flavour I was hoping for, which made it rather forgettable. However, the bruschetta appetizer and the fried cheesecake dessert were both killer. I had a caesar to drink, and was very pleasantly surprised by the chipotle-esque rim that made it unique and delicious. Service and ambiance were also very good. Ill be back in the future, but Ill probably opt for a different entree.
Amazing place to visit for a date night. I would love to come back!
What an amazing find, great beers, amazing food, good atmosphere and the best service! We went along recently for my daughter s birthday lunch and were blown away by the overall experience. My daughter had the Butter Chicken, mild but full of flavour and very tasty. My wife had a BBQ smash burger with sweet potato fries, she said it was extremely tasty! I had the special Bobby Fishers sandwich which was also awesome with a side of loaded tater tots (what s not to like about that). We enjoyed the beers so much we grabbed a bunch to bring home. Special shout out to Dan our server, he was first class, very attentive and knowledgeable, made a for a great overall experience.
It was my first time visiting the Grist. Staff are very friendly and happy. Restaurant is clean and has a wonderful atmosphere. The food was amazing. We ordered pizza and fish. Both were really good. Looking forward to my next visit when I am in Niagara on the Lake.
It has a very chill vibe and excellent food. The fish tacos were absolutely amazing. Best Ive had. You wont regret eating here.
The reviews on this place are well deserved. The customer service was phenomenal - our server s name was Dan. He was so patient with our kids and so helpful to us as it was our first time here. The decor and ambiance was really nice. The food was also AMAZING. We had the classic New Yorker and the produce pizza and they did not disappoint. Love the fact that they brew all of their beer in house and they have such fun and exciting concoctions to try. Will definitely be returning as we wanted to try out the entire menu!
World class experience. Unique property with a very cool vibe. Very welcoming staff.... you know right away they live the brand. Our server Maegen was wonderful. Very informative and knew the product well. She was the perfect amount of attentive. There when we needed her but allowed us to enjoy our visit. I had the Chicken Parm and it was delish..... brought half of it home to enjoy again. My mom had the pulled pork mac n cheese and said it was the best shes ever had. Not over powering with cheese so it let all the other flavors come through. I think its her new fav. I had the IPA and it was awesome. Full flavored and very smooth. We will be back. Thank you Maegen for an excellent experience. You are a gem.
Good food! The dill pizza, the New Yorker, the dirty dawg and the sticky toffee pudding! Beautiful building on the inside.
Best pizza in the region by far. Worth the wait
We requested a table they said 20 min so 4 of us sat at the bar. 45 mins later I checked with them and they totally forgot about us. Ridiculous!!! Had to wait another 20 mins for a table.
Very cool.
Food is amazing. Staff are friendly. I will be back every time I m in the area. Food : 5/5
Went for our second time over the weekend and werent disappointed. Absolutely love their pizza and wings, their beer is great and the service from Rachel and Kayden was outstanding. Cant wait to go back!
A great spot away from the bustle of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Excellent beer and a wide ranging menu it s pub grub but high end and reasonably priced. The tacho s could easily feed 5. We arrived early and it filled up quick, it s the off season so I m guessing there s a crowd come summer. Fortunately the patio outside has plenty of room.
We were at Grist yesterday Friday Mar. 8 15:30 - 17:00 table 122 party of 4. Fantastic Experience. Food was amazing. Staff were very pleasant from the moment we walked in the door. I do have to say our waitress Emily was the best waitress I have experienced in a very long time. Extremely professional, always smiling very efficient. Knew the menu like she wrote it herself. She treated us like she had known us for years. Employees like Emily are key to the success of the restaurant business. I m sure all the Grist team are much the same. We have been to Grist before and as always they do a fabulous job. Emily deserves a pay raise. Well done. Jeff
This is my favorite place for fish and chips. You must try their Tachos served in a barrel, and you will need a few people to finish it. They have excellent selections of wines and beers. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for hanging out with friends and family or going on a date. If you are in Niagara, you must check out this place. The portions are great and the prices are very reasonable. Vegetarian options: They offer vegetarian options on their menu. Parking: Please be advised that parking may be difficult during dinner time on Fridays and Saturdays due to high traffic. Kid-friendliness: This place is great for families with kids. They will love the food. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible to those with assistive devices.
I truly could not stop coming here nor do I want to stop! Me and my family have been to the grist multiple times now and continue coming back. The food is absolutely extraordinary, the staff is outstanding and service is top notch. The atmosphere of the place is just extremely stunning, and the owners are just immaculate. Thank you so very much for us having an incredible experience everytime, if anything it just keeps getting better and better! We will be back soon again, and will continue coming back.
my new favorite place to eat in all of NOTL! i honestly dont know how anything could be improved - the food is amazing, the atmosphere is gorgeous, everyone working there is super friendly and the pricing is incredibly reasonable. its the perfect restaurant. highly recommend the buffalo chicken macaroni and the fish tacos! cant wait to try more.
Taylor was our server and she was amazing! Especially considering we were a large group of 8 people. It was our friends birthday and she made it a special one for him with her great service!
Absolutely incredible. From the atmosphere to the food to the service. Food was beyond expectations. Smash burgers, pizzas, and Tachos that put other nachos to shame. A must stop for anyone in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area. They even make their own craft beer!!! Oh, and DAN, the server was fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and genuine. It is truly one of the best experiences weve had.
Amazing food, excellent service, nothing bad to say! Would 10/10 recommend!
Ate here lastnight for the first time and this place is amazing ! The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming , the food was delicious and the portions were actually huge compared to other places these days , and the decor/atmosphere and overall vibe was amazing . Highly recommend. The only downfall is they don t take reservations so it was a lengthy wait to get a table but it was well worth it .
Enjoyed the beer flight and the White House pizza
Some of the best pizza I ve ever had. Beer is amazing too!
Excellent first time visitors, greeted and served by owners, worth the drive, didn t wait long for food to arrive!! Fabulous decor and ambience !!!
A bustling pub in Niagara-on-the-Lake Great way to spend the afternoon catching up with friends and family or on your own. Mix of locals and tourists. The pub was still bustling on the weekend even when we came in at 3 pm. Mix of bar, high long tables, and regular seating. Decor is nice with the high ceilings. Staff are friendly. Always a smile on their face. Good selection of beers. We got nachos which came in a huge tub and pizza! I would suggest making this place a go to destination for lunch, a snack, and even dinner away from the main strip at Niagara-on-the-Lake which has a different energy. Vegetarian options: Yes. Confirm requirements with staff Dietary restrictions: Yes. Confirm requirements with staff Parking: Own building and parking lot. Accessibility parking beside accessibility ramp Kid-friendliness: Sure. Bring one. Bring them all. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Highly highly recommend this place! Incredible and top quality food, beer, and service!! The atmosphere and place all around was an amazing experience! Food
Great lunch today at The Grist. Our server Emily was lovely....friendly and very personable!! The Gone Fishin Taco Trio was delicious and my friend loved her Ooo! Da Gouda steak sammy The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was a hit. The Mother Theresa pizza I ordered to go for dinner for the fam was good but not great but it certainly didnt go to waste!! The Grist definitely deserves 5 stars!!
Great restaurant for any time of day! The food here is amazing and the decor is super cute! This place is always busy no matter what time of day you go (that is how you know it is good). Only thing that is difficult can be the parking but the food is so good it is worth the minor inconvenience.
Just had a couple beers and killed some time! Beer and service were awesome. Split a pretzel and it was delicious!! Need to return for a proper dinner!!
Just simply fantastic!! Fresh ingredients, wonderful combinations. Great beer.
Grist is a wonderful place to eat and drink. The food is phenomenal, I had the Dirty Dawg. If you like chilli dogs you ll love the Dirty Dawg, my husband had the fish and chips and that was the same. The only thing I have to say against the restaurant, is to have more help in the bar area. We sat at a table in the bar and the bartender was to look after the tables and the bar. It didn t work well, people sitting at the tables were having to way too long. This was my husband and I, first time there and I do recommend Grist !
Grist is an absolute gem! The pizza is unrivaled in the region, boasting a perfect blend of flavors that leave your taste buds in awe. The cocktails are a delightful complement, offering an amazing variety that caters to every palate. What truly sets Grist apart, however, is the impeccable service. Robert and Danielle(the owners), go above and beyond to make you feel like a cherished guest. Their dedication and friendliness create an inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. The beautiful aesthetic of the restaurant is the perfect backdrop for any occasion. I cannot recommend Grist enough a culinary haven where exceptional food, fantastic drinks, and unparalleled hospitality converge.
Everything is good!
Excellent experience. When we walked in we were greeted with a smile at the front door despite it being very busy. The host was constantly busy either cleaning tables or seating customers. Our server was fantastic as well, always there when needed and gave excellent suggestions on food and beer. We each ordered a beer flight, the big a$$ pretzel to share, fish and chips and the limited time holiday stacked burger with poutine. We seen nachos being ordered around us that were massive and looked quite tasty as well. Everything made for a perfect night out and well definitely be back!
Had a minor issue when another patron claimed my identity to get a table faster. However when we came in to check on our wait time staff was extremely apologetic and rushed us right to a table with very prompt service. Waitress was fantastic and restaurant staff super friendly. Of the 4 beers I tried all were very nice unexpected treat in the cherry lime sour. Food has been delicious on every visit and portions are very generous. Andy was a friendly and efficient waitress and management/owners were super friendly and approachable. No reservations but trust me this place has always been worth the wait. Parking: Parking on site fills up quick
Stopped here for lunch when in Niagara area and was very impressed from start to finish! Service was great and the wings and burgers were absolutely amazing. We had buffalo and the salt and pepper dry rub for wings and the bbq smash burger. The servers gave some great recommendations. We also enjoyed the beer
My wife and I had lunch here yesterday. We ordered the smash burger with an onion ring on top, wings and beers. The salt and pepper dry wings might be the best wings I ve ever had. The smash burger was perfect. We had a great time, beers were good. the cookie for dessert was kind of mid, it was just a heated up cookie in a cup with ice cream and caramel no whip cream and it wasn t very molten, more dry. It was still good tho just maybe get something else like the fried cheesecake. This place was awesome we will be back for sure
Thank you Andy and Chef Gopi for making the evening amazing. Everything was so great. Thank you
I always get take out. Great pizza
