We were a group of 11 (8 adults + 3 kids) who went there last night. All the food that we ordered were great! We especially loved the classic reuben and vegizza. Service was prompt and our hostess was attentive, with a nice smile. Definitely coming back whenever we visit the area. Vegetarian options: Vegizza and the tomato soup were yumm! Kid-friendliness: Very good variety in the kids menu

Sandtrap is our go to for date day, never have been disappointed! Both the Food, Service & Atmosphere is the full hospitality experience. Usually always get their pizza, amazing, we shared lasagna yesterday, something new for us, & recommended, definitely not disappointed! Homemade in house, hats off to BOH team. Thank you for always making us feel very welcomed and we continue to recommend you to our friends & family. Great team here!

In town and checking out the wings with the best reviews. The Irish harp wings were great, but the portion labeled as 1 pound was half the size of the 1 pound portion at the Sandtrap Pub And Grill. Comparable wings at both locations so I would have to give the Sand Trap the thumbs up.

Food was very bad.

Nice and affordable pub food

Went last night for pizza and wings. Was very surprised that the prices on the website were almost 35% lower than the actual prices on the menu. Stayed and ordered anyway. The pizza was extremely disappointing. There was no sauce couldn t taste any, so I picked up the cheese to make sure that it was not my imagination, and there really was no sauce to be found except for a small amount near the crust area. Would have loved to been asked how the food was, but no one came by the table to inquire. The waitress did not come back to even ask if we would like another pint. Our location was such, that she had to walk by our booth while on the way to serve other patrons. We were asked it we would like anything else at the time we asked for the check. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Been visiting this amazing and unique town the last few weeks. Matt is such a great person to converse with and so polite. Just a great person. The drinks are great. So are the wings. Great spot. And spot is clean and laid back vibes. Easy going. Came for brunch and late night after most the town shut down! Thanks guys.

Decent place with a good beer selection. Definitely a busy place so service was a bit slow but its golf themed which we loved! Would be cool if they got a golden tee machine! Food

We had pizza and salad as a family of 7. Everyone enjoyed the pizza. The server was friendly and helpful. Would recommend. Kid-friendliness: Kid menus and crayons were available.

I mean I didnt get an experience as me and my wife sat at a table while we had our kids babysat for a night out and never got food. Ordered a wrap and a full rack of ribs so we could eat after a fun night out but after waiting approximately 45 minutes(6pm-6 45pm) we decided to walk out and get fast food on the way home. Rest of the town was a pleasant experience.

We had an excellent meal. The staff were excellent. We went on a long weekend and the place was packed. There was always a line up but they moved people in and out quickly and yet we never felt rushed. We will be returning.

Visiting NOTL didnt want to go to a tourist joint so tried the Sandtrap. Service was excellent and the food was great, liked it so much went back a second time. Both times pizza with meal.

This place has the best kid friendly service I ve ever experienced. Warm and kind with excellent food and a local beer and wine list. We are only here for three more days and might come back tomorrow!

Fish and chips, custom burger, soup and salad, kids meals - two mini burgers! Pizza mediocre. Salads great. Fried battered fish is a bit overdone and greasy. Overall good eating and tasty.

Visiting from the UK, and we really loved the Sandtrap! It had loads of food & drink options, great atmosphere, great service, and opened late which was perfect for us. Good veggie/vegan options too. Big thumbs up from us Vegetarian options: Pizzas are customizable and beyond meat burger available.

First Timer with freinds. Tracy was the waitress. Service was Great and Was the Food had the Crispy Chicken and was the real deal. To top it off i had a piece of chocolate cake. An excellent time ovee all. Keep up Great Job Tracy :)

Cut me off after two drinks while sober cause I look younger. I love going to inns in the area but I cant recommend this place as its a bar atmosphere and they wont serve me more than 2 drinks lol what a joke spent over $100 on pizza and two drinks . The place is a joke. I also paid for the drink they took away and cut me off with and they took it away. The pizza was not even worth paying the price it had not much taste. Please bypass this place its terrible

First time here. Came with a group of 9 after wine tasting. Blown away by the food the service the location. We had pizza, wings and a cheddar chowder soup. Recommend all.

The Vegi pizza is the best we ve ever had. Very tastey. Delicious. Weve ordered on the phone a few times and pick it up ourselves. The Sandtrap team is always on time.

We are locals that thoroughly enjoy this restaurant. The owners and servers are like family. We enjoyed a Rueben (moms favourite, ), the halibut with sweet potato fries and their amazing ribs with salad!!

We like the Sandtrap. Niagara-on-the-Lake has lots of tourist traps. This is where the locals go for good value and good quality.

Came together tonight with a group of seven was very cold sitting close to the door.. Mostly our food was okay..our pizza was really great, but our wings were totally inedible. Tiny and highly overcooked. When we told the waitress, she took them away yet didn t take them off the bill. When I asked about it she just said that the owner said no he couldn t even bother getting involved totally unacceptable.

We googled this place close to Niagara on the lake. The reviews and the food looked good. We were not disappointed. The service was friendly , food was hot and good , outdoor patio was nice and it was quieter then right in town. We would go again. The chicken parm was a real chicken breast and the meat pie had big chunks of potatoes and veggies. . Home made fries were delicious.

My vet is right across the street so I thought I d stop in and give them a try. I m glad I did. Food was excellent but I must say the two servers working (Meaghan & I m sorry I didn t catch the others name) we re getting absolutely slammed in a lunch rush and killed it the entire time. Will be back to see their friendly faces again

Meh.... we were at Niagra-on-the-lake after 9pm and the restaurants in the historic dustrict were closed. Someone recomended this place to us. The food was edible. My wings were over done. The pizza was not memorable. The fries were stale in the poutine, the gravy was too salty and thick. The server brought 5 cups for our party of 6. We were served a pitcher if water and no ice. Once the food was dropped we didnt see our server again till check drop. It was not the worst place but I would not go back.

Matt and Paul never let us down. Food is fabulous and rises above traditional pub grub. I highly recommend it.

My daughter & I came in for dinner around 8:50pm. The food didnt arrive at our table until almost 9:40pm -9:45pm. With 6 other tables being occupied, it wasnt busy or crowded. The service by server Violet was mediocre at best. Needless to say, it was a disappointing experience on this occasion.

Our first stop on our little Niagara on the lake trip and this place was cool - Im a lover of golf and they legit have stuff actually relevant to the sport -- unlike some basic sport bars. The service was very friendly and fast & the food was really good. Will go again!

Dinner on Monday evening with family. Good service, Nice pizza, fish entree was one small piece, haddock. Could have included more fries too. Reasonable prices. Should have less high-top tables given that most patrons are mature adults.

First of all, AMAZING SERVICE! The waitresses at this restaurant always have a smile on their face and ready to serve. Food is good and competitively priced for a tourist area. My fiancé and I come here almost everytime we visit Niagara. A must visit restaurant.

A real fun place to visit in if your in Niagara on the lake a bit away from the main street but definitely worth a visit. Great bar food at a reasonable price. They also dont overcharge on the liquor. Servers are also very nice.

Stayed 3 nights in the Niagara area, went to multiple restaurants daily. This was my favorite by far and it wasnt even close. Food was the best and came out very quick. Staff was prompt and helpful when we needed them. When you decide to visit here, I recommend getting the mozzarella sticks 100% never had any better any where else. We were told about Sandtrap by a local we met at a brewery. Off the beaten path a little, but was busy. The food was great, the beers were big and prices were good.

Stopped in on a beautiful sunny afternoon for a light lunch and a cold drink. Meal was good and the server(Meghan)was friendly and efficient. Menu looked good. We will definitely be back soon.

Good vibe, good prices, however the pizza was not what I expected. The crust was not crispy. It was more like bread. Tasted like a cheese sandwich. Also, my friend said her fish and chips weren t great. Their wings and fries are really good though.

The food was pretty good. I like the chicken wings a lot. The pizza was also good but I asked for veggie and i had a bite of pork which was very disappointing. I have a pork intolerance. The service was terrible. The slightly rude waitress hates her life and I had to ask her like 3 times for everything. I went with two other people and one of the meals came so long after that it felt very rude. Meals should come all at the same time especially two orders of chicken fingers. The patio was pretty but I would not go back.

Nice bar and restaurant. I had the fish and chips, batter on the fish light and tasty. My wife got the chicken pot pie. Good portion and excellent server, very friendly and efficient. Would definitely go back.

Was looking to find a good place to eat in Niagara on the Lake and saw that the Sandtrap got really good reviews so we tried it. It was so good we went again the next night. All of the wait staff both nights were AMAZING! They get 10 stars. The food we had both nights was excellent as well. Great patio to sit out and eat under cover. If you are in the area, look no further!

I recently discovered Sandtrap, and its become a favorite spot of mine. I had a delightful lunch here, featuring terrific English-style fish and chips and a surprisingly nice selection of red wines. I know its not the traditional pairing, but I cant resist red wine, and they do it justice. Now, lets talk about those deep-fried dill pickles! Im a connoisseur, and Sandtraps version is truly delicious, among the best Ive had. Regarding service, it started a bit slow, but it quickly picked up, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The excellent experience prompted me to invite a friend for dinner a few weeks later, and once again, Sandtrap delivered. Even with a line out the door, we were seated promptly, although we hoped for a patio spot - a testament to its popularity. After dinner, we snagged a patio table, enjoyed some more wine and great conversation and watching other diners enjoy their meals convinced us that Sandtrap should be a regular part of our dining experience. So, if you ever find yourself in the neighborhood with an appetite, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You wont be disappointed.

Service was terrible, food was cold, it was my mothers 85th birthday dinner and it was so very disappointing.

The worst pizza ever had. We would have appreciated if they told us before we ordered, that their pizzas are frozen. Pizza was even served cold, probably they left it seat for long, after they microwaved it. Wings just mediocre.

Ordered 2 panzerotties deep fried with double cheese. Waited 40 minutes for them, get home to find out they were baked and lacking in the toppings. Its pathetic. Wont bother going back.

When your serving burgers and beef dip, its all about the type of bread. Tables around me ordered pizza. Would definitely return for drinks and to try the pizza..

Average, food is nothing to remember but is okay overall. I ordered habanero mango wings. They turned out to be dry dusted wings with no hint of mango or habanero. Tasted more like cajun. Creamy turkey soup was delicious however. Service was okay. Nothing to complain or rave about

I d be generous if I said their food and service was even mediocre. It wasn t. The fish was just ok, but the fries were bargain basement. The other meal, meatloaf, we really didn t like, and when we mentioned it to the waitress, she acted like she couldn t care less. She was also slow to come around to our table and they weren t busy at all. Don t waste your time and money here, there s lots of other restaurants in the area.
