135 Queen St, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0, Canada
One of my favorite restaurants! If you want to be fancy! If you want to be casual fancy! If just want to go out! If you want to enjoy your food and enjoy your company! This is a special place any day of the week! Any time of the week - quiet, busy.. anytime you can expect your taste buds to be spoiled! If you feel like a cocktail - the options are phenomenal with the drinks themselves worth the mixologist! The staff is attentive and knowledgeable and extremely professional. But the star is the food! Date night, family dinner, out on business you name it there is always something that is fresh, organic and divine! I keep returning and they keep surprising me every single visit! And I must admit I have enjoyed many of their dishes from appetizers, main, desserts and drinks! They have a late night menu if you want something to eat that is not heavy or if you make it past dinner.. they also have Friday afternoon options if you are calling your week early! A plus - it is on the quiet part of town so you can always find a spot to park and a table, busy or not their service is exceptional!
A Nice place for dinning experience with a wide collection of wines and other drinks to choose from. Located in the Queen street of NOTL Region is a perfect place to enjoy with friend over a glass of wine and some wonderful food to choose from the menu. Restaurant staff were friendly the ambience was very nice. A good choice of food menu available along with customizations you want could be accommodated by the kitchen staffs.
The food simply wasn’t good. The tabbouleh had bitter barley in it. I have never had barley in tabbouleh and then on top of it, it had this bad taste. Mind you, it did not mention on the menu that there was barley in this dish. Considering it was such a big part of the dish, it should have been mentioned. The different flavour profiles did not mix together well. All of that for $24. The burger was $30 and it was so greasy. The presentation of the food was good but the taste vs the price was just unbelievably disappointing. I am shocked that this place is so widely recommended. Especially considering this is place is associated with two sisters vineyards, this was such a let down.
A nice upscale restaurant in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, nice vibe environment, very relaxing atmosphere, large servings of classic favourites, large selection Ontario VQA wine, great service with friendly attentive staff.
During our weekend trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake, we found this amazing restaurant. The food and service were so good that we decided to go back the next day to see if it was just a one-time thing. It wasn't. The service and food were just as great as the first time, and we ordered the same dishes and drinks again. This place served us the best burger and chicken Cobb salad we've had to date, and we've tried a lot of restaurants. 👍👍
A very nice place to grab some lite fare but the entree options look great. My wife and I shared the soup which was fantastic. We had the Cobb salad and tamarind salad. Both were great! And way more food than it looks. The staff were very friendly and if you can, sit out front. It's beautiful.
A very respectful restaurant with a lot of seating capacity. We had two salads, both were well prepared. Service was friendly and efficient but there was not a lot of customers in the restaurant. Washrooms were downstairs in the basement. Both washrooms were very clean. It's obvious the owners put in a significant amount of capital to start this place. Good luck, you are off to a great start.
Beautiful new restaurant from Two Sisters in downtown NOTL. A brand new building with lovely details: wood, tile, light fixtures accented in gold, a wrap-around porch and more patio space around the side. The burger was one of the best I've had: simple but executed perfectly. Beautiful beef flavour, pickle, lettuce, tomato, and a lovely bun. Crisp fries. Also commend the chicken sandwich, simply lovely. Friendly service from Josh. Just a great experience overall. A welcome addition to the town 👍 Edit: returned two weeks later and was served by Brooke, who provided stellar service. The chicken supreme was first rate, with tabbouleh salad and tzakiki 👌 Excellent spinach and artichoke dip with Pico de Gallo. And an awesome apple crumble to complete the meal. Don't hesitate to go to this restaurant and make it your new favourite, like me!
Albert is the best. I didn t have to ask for a single thing,he took great care of us. We ll definitely be back.
Delicious food. Great service. A bit pricey and not a huge choice of food. Wine also wasn t what I expected or did at the wine tasting.
Good atmosphere. Great service. Food was good but not five star.
We sat outside for dinner and bothered by gnats. We should have asked to go inside but the waiter appeared to be preoccupied by other tables. Food we ll prepared.
The dinner was definitely the best part. I had the salmon and it was just fantastic! My husband had the beef and it was amazing too! The only thing we did not appreciate was the hostess service, the minute she saw us, she was rude and made us wait for 30 minutes even though the restaurant was almost empty. We did not have a reservation but when we got a table, we realized another family came in also without a reservation but they did not have to wait for a table like we did, because again, there were plenty of tables available. On the other hand, the waitress was just lovely. We really enjoyed her service.
Asked for a table for 2 and was told we would have to come back. The employee wasnt very pleasant. Place was more than half empty and it was 730 pm on a week night. Lots of seating available. Disappointing
We came by looking for a dinner spot. We didnt have a reservation and walked in at 8 pm to almost a completely empty restaurant. We asked if we could be seated, the lady at the front desk was not friendly at all, kind seemed annoyed and dismissive. Told us the only take reservations and will only seat walk-ins after 8:30. We tried to ask a couple questions but she just said I dont know to everything. I understand restaurants have their policies, but I was surprised they didnt care for business when it was about 15% full. Not to mention, other places who turned us away were friendly, apologetic, and made other suggestions. Just not welcoming. We ended up going somewhere else rather than waiting to be seated for 30 mins as we had no desire to give them business after this experience.
Very nice experience in this internally magnificent restaurant but a shame that the prices are so high Vegetarian options: Some dishes Parking: Paid parking throughout the city Kid-friendliness: High chairs and childrens menu
Good food, nice place.
We had wine and a snack our first day and lunch on our third on the front porch. The food was excellent and they have an extensive wine list. The service was excellent and the place was very clean with a lot of room inside as well.
Nice restaurant in a nice place. Looks a bit like a kitsch village, but it is real. Nice combination with Niagara falls and a winery
Great food and drinks. Highly recommend the espresso martinis!
As our server Darrion said, and I quote, You re my second favourite customer tonight. , we were more than delighted to have that honour! We were quite desperate to find a suitable restaurant at 8:30 at night. A hostess at Treadwell suggested the 11th post, and they certainly did not disappoint. I had the steak and frites, and he the ribs. My steak was cooked perfectly, and the sear on it couldn t be beat at a medium rare. We both thought the fries were deliciously addictive. His ribs came out not too warm, so Darrion was quick to rectify it, while we gobbled up our fries. As well, we had a very generous portion of apple crisp (we were stuffed, but couldn t say no to a treat!). All and all, HIGHLY recommend. It s a gorgeous building with soft folk music played in the background, right in downtown with very professional staff and amazing fare. We look forward to taking our number 1 spot next time as Darrion s favourite guests of the night
We recently dined at 11th Post on Queen attracted by its reputation as a high-end venue. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. The service was merely adequate, and the long wait to order was an inconvenience. Furthermore, the menu failed to mention that the salad contained coriander, an important detail for those of us who don t like it. We specifically mentioned that we would be sharing the beef dip, yet the restaurant provided condiments sufficient for only one person. On a positive note, the wine was good, which provided some consolation. Overall, the experience did not justify the high prices or meet the standard one would anticipate from a supposedly top-tier restaurant.
I was so impressed with this restaurant when we entered. The waiter was polite and attentive. The decor is excellent. The washrooms are modern and clean. (Which is saying a lot given that many restaurants in older buildings struggle in this area.) Things were going great...until the food arrived. Oh my! Where to begin? My wife had the French beef dip which consisted of a beef sandwich and a kale salad. First, we have been to France many times and my wife is Franco-Ontarian. There was nothing French about this meal. You could not dip the sandwich in the dip because it is too big. The beef was tasteless. The dip didnt help with adding taste either. The kale salad had hot peppers in it! Even once we got rid of those, the whole salad was still somehow off in a way that my wife could not describe. My meal wasnt any better. I had the burger. All I could really taste was salt. Loads of salt. Now maybe I should have taken the bacon and cheese out or loaded it up on relish or ketchup, but there were no condiments available. And by the time I might have asked for some, I had already given up eating. The fries were incredibly greasy too, literally limp with grease. I felt so bad, I just wanted to pay and leave. My wife was braver. She complained to our waiter. He immediately took 50% off her meal, which she barely touched. Which was at least something. Great atmosphere, but these two meals were not at all to our liking.
Excellent experience! Our server, Hailey, was engaging, friendly and helped us select the exact wine for our tastes and our meal. Atmosphere was just what were looking for and the food was top-notch. Would definitely eat here again! Two thumbs up!
They need hazy IPA. IPA that I got, wasn t what I was told. Burgers were great. Food
Beautiful restaurant. Service was good. I ordered ribs and I was surprised to find the Silverback lining hadnt been removed. For an upscale background and pricing- thought this was kinda rookie and it was a slight turn off. I can appreciate that this is Two Sisters restaurant- but I did hope there would be more than just their own wines on the menu. Not a bad experience overall, Id need something exciting to lure me back in though.
Lovely experience with the best mashed potatoes
My partner had the beef salad and myself the post burger. Both tasty and well cooked. The burger s sauce was magical, and the patty is very juicy. My critic would be the amount of fries they serve with the burger is stupidly gigantic. Half that would have been plenty, a bit of salade instead would have been great to balance the plate. Thankfully my partner s salad was enormous too. Staff was impeccable.
Incredibly delicious. I had grilled chicken and nachos with pulled pork for starters.
Everything was perfect. Food was presented well. Albert was exceptional! Knowledgeable and friendly Food : 5/5 |
Food was OK but was not excellent. Service was miserable. Food
Food is delicious and the choices are unique and worth a try! Something for everyone. We dine in and it is a beautiful restaurant! we enjoy the music and the ambious. Each time, we have had a sweet, professional and quick server and they remain attentive. The place is also clean, especially the washrooms. Definitely recommend for both date night and large parties. Its a very nice spot in a great location.
Dissatisfied We made reservations a few weeks ago. When we got there we asked for a booth. The restaurant was basically empty. We were told no as they save them for parties of 4 and that they were very busy. Like I said. Restaurant was very empty. So in a very empty restaurant they seat us beside the noisiest possible table. Meanwhile, one booth did actually have only 2 people and the proceeded to seat 2 more of the booths held for 4 with only 2 people in each. Not impressed. Food wise, hubby had the chicken supreme. It was delicious. I had the tenders. A bit on the dry side and over cooked. Onion rings are fantastic.
Good food and service but overpriced , 15 for soup. 28 for chicken fingers and 30 for beef on bun.
Nice place!! Servers were lovely. Cocktails are very expensive!! Two cocktails with tip.......$48.00!!!!!
Hue was excellent! Made our experience great
This restaurant and their staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. We went here for a bachelorette party dinner. I have a whole host of dietary restrictions (no soy, gluten or dairy) and I was expecting to have to bring my own food/ eat before. I emailed a week before we went and just asked if there was anything possibly that I could eat. They sat down with their chef and responded right away with a ton of options! I didn t even have to ask about dietary restrictions when we got to the restaurant, the server Sarah already knew. The food was delicious and thank you to all the staff there for being so wonderful.
Absolutely loved it! Food, customer service and environment were all on point! The tabbouleh salad was amazing!! Thanks for the great experience! Will definitely be back! :)
Great food quality fine dinning. Above average portion size. Salads and Nachos very tasty.
We only stopped in for a mid-afternoon snack and ordered the smoked beef brisket nachos off of their happy hour menu. The best nachos I have ever had in my life! Can t wait to go back for a full meal.
The menu was very select, food and wine were good but over priced for what it was.
Nice spot, was happily surprised to see how nice the place looked as soon as we entered. Felt more on the upscale end. Service was good. Food options werent up our alley, so I cant speak to the food offered here. Food prices are also on the higher side, so be mindful if you were looking a for quick bite to eat. Service was great
The Food was very salty For the price the food was poor quality Food
My wife and I went to enjoy lunch at 11th Post because it looked so warm and inviting. However we were turned away because they preferred bookings and we hadnt prebooked. This is an understandable policy during busy times, however there were only 3 groups seated inside leaving a lot of vacant space for other diners. Im very confident that they werent expecting another 100 guests within the time it would have taken us to eat. Very poor 11th Post, but obviously you wanted us to spend our money just up the road.....so we did
Food was amazing and customer service was exceptional!!! Definitely recommend!
This is a little gem on the main drag in Niagara on the lake. 2 outdoor seating areas. A Clean trendy atmosphere with an excellent menu options. Everything is made homemade fresh. We had excellent service accompanied by great food. Excellent portions as well. I eat out 2-3 times a week and have a high standard and expectations of all the meals and services a restaurant provides, 11th post knocked it out of the park. As a local I will be back.
Awesome servers! Great Food. Wonderful Atmosphere You will never be sad here! Food : 5/5 |
Delightful meal. Front porch dining was perfect. Meals and staff were top notch.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food tasted very delicious. Atmosphere great
Excellent food. The server was very careful that our gluten free options were indeed gluten free. Appreciated the attention to this need for celiac. The menu itself has gf symbols but some options are gluten friendly and some really gluten free. Ask questions. The servers are willing to check.
I have never in my life had such bad service, the waitress was so rude, the food took over an hour to come out and the place was so hot we were all sweating. Do not recommend!
We were excited to try this place. It s a beautiful establishment and have 3 wonderful patios. Staff are friendly. Food unfortunately was just ok and not as described. I ordered chicken with tabbouleh and the tabbouleh was not actually tabbouleh but rather a barley salad mostly of grain rather than vegetables. My partner ordered a burger and fries. Fries were greasy, and flat rather than fresh, and crunchy. Unfortunately left feeling a bit let down by the expedience
Food was great definitely tasty no complaints. The place is stunning. We didn t love out server. He wasn t great at all. Very slow and not a lot of attention.
The staff is fabulous! Very kind & accommodating! We had the smoked salmon appy & it was absolutely delicious!! The ribs were falling off the bone & really fantastic too! You will not be disappointed! Thank you for a wonderful lunch! We really enjoyed ourselves
Amazing place for fine dining in this beautiful town. Everything tastes and looks good and professional. Bartender/sommelier knows her stuff well. All around a beautiful experience.
Lovely restaurant with absolutely great service and friendly staff. Loved the food.
Tonight we challenged the staff with a 19 top, later than the traditional service. I can say that they crushed it. The food was outstanding, no app missed. People were sharing their entrees wanting one another to try how good it was. The winners seemed to be the salmon and ribeye. I can say myself and all my clients walked away impressed with the overall experience.
4 of us had dinner on a Thursday following a round of golf. We ordered from the couples date night menu (available on Thursdays) and we really enjoyed our meal. This couples menu means = 1 app for a couple, 1 entree each person, 1 dessert shared for a couple. The full menu was also available. The nachos were stellar, lots of flavour. Not like other nachos and a filling portion. Our friends had the eggplant dip and it was also very good. For entrees 3 of us had the beef dip sandwich with fries and it was excellent. Again a large portion, we each took half a sandwich home. The other entree ordered was the chicken, our friend said it was quite good. The only surprise was the couscous was served cold. Dessert was very good and a large portion. Both couples had the chocolate cake with ice cream. We liked the decor and the service was very good. With 1 cocktail and a bottle of wine the meal including tax/tip came to approx. $200 per couple. We all said wed be back.
Our server was outstanding. The bartender made the best amertosour drinks ever! The food was absolutely stunning to look at as well as it all tasted amazing and so fresh . I had the beef dip with whipped potatoes, and my partner had the ribs and tomatoe artichoke soup. 5/5 stars
I booked and.gifted a reservation for a beautiful couple while in Niagara for a fews days. They provided me their feedback, which was exceptional. They said that the food was amazing, the staff was very attentive and the ambience was elegant. The time spent was so worth it.
Poor service and overpriced for what is on offer. Didn t check on us or proactively offer drink replenishments, long wait for food when we were one of the last tables. Nice decor but it doesn t really deliver.
Far better than it looks on paper. Eat here, you will not regret it. Brought my fiancé here after we got engaged, was not disappointed. 5 stars easy.
Excellent dinner, wonderful service and absolutely delicious food! I had the chicken main with tabouleh and the tuna salad - both were exceptional. Also the fries are fantastic, not greasy or salty. Best fries Ive ever had. Highly recommend and hope to be back soon :)
We went there for linner - late lunch/early dinner. Very nice restaurant and very good food. Food
Beyond disappointed in our experience with Two Sisters Vineyards and 11th Post on Queen. My husband and I were generously gifted a gift card for our wedding and planned a special trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake to use it. Prior to our trip, I attempted to book a barrel cellar tasting. We were told, however, that we could not participate with our 9-month-old in tow, who we unfortunately couldn t leave at home. No problem, we thought; well use it towards a nice meal at one of the two restaurants clearly listed under the Dining drop-down on the Two Sisters Vineyards website. After all, both restaurant logos even appeared and were promoted in the email signature of the Two Sisters associate who informed me our daughter was not welcome. Fast forward to our arrival at Niagara-on-the-Lake, I attempted to book a reservation at 11th Post on Queen (the more casual/baby-friendly looking of the two). Initially, the hostess was reluctant to book me a reservation, but eventually did so after I explained that I had a Two Sisters gift card that we planned to use and had specifically booked our trip around. Although our server was lovely, the food was mediocre at best. When the bill came, we were then told that the gift card could not be used at that restaurant. The manager had a combative attitude right off the bat but addressed our concern by offering to do something about the bill. She then, however, proceeded to do nothing at all when she realized we were going to be polite about the situation which left us feeling even more frustrated. Why offer to do something to make the situation right if youre not going to do anything at all? Feeling defeated, we finally stopped at the vineyard to purchase wine, which we ultimately found disappointing. I regret to say that I will not be recommending Two Sisters Vineyard, 11th Post on Queen, or any subsidiary based on this experience.
Cannot believe the prices here compared to the food. I ordered a burger and my niece got the kid burger. It arrived and was identical for twice the price. Burger was overcooked and bland. The fries were inconsistently fried and blindfolded you would not be able to tell them apart from Milestones. There was nothing special about it. Spinach dip for 26$??? And served with nacho chips??? This is not even high quality pub food for extravagant prices. For context, the food at Drake Devonshire in PEC is half the price for gorgeous local seasonal ingredients and a much more beautiful space. Go to Alouette in Toronto for the best rated burger in the city for less money. Miss this overpriced tourist trap.
Unexpected quality dining in tranquil atmosphere. Food quality was excellent, albeit a bit pricy but you get what you pay for. Rosie provided great attentive service. Would definitely go back and try the dinner menu.
Its everything it promises. From the service, food and wine. Definitely $$$ But hey, we live once! Food : 5/5 |
Excellent food served in a nice ambiance
This place was beautify inside but unfortunately was not matched with food or service. Very overpriced, even charged us 35$ to cut our cake and wouldnt allow us to cut it for free. We sat at our reservation for 1pm, got our food around 230 pm, we didnt get out until 330 pm and that was with me pushing them to get us out as my children couldnt sit any longer. Food was not great and most of us left still hungry. All in all if you like waiting and paying for pricy food and drinks then this is your place!
It was wonderful. We were seated before our reservation. We were a half hour early. I would recommend it yo my friends and family.
No vegetarian main unless you want to eat salad or mix some sides from the side menu like potatoes and coleslaw. Food we got was pretty fresh, service was just ok.
Parking: Our server Brooke was absolutely wonderful! Food
5/5 Experience. The Nachos, Steak and Cider were all fastastic. The ambiance was great, music isnt too loud and lots to do around the restaurant! Dietary restrictions: Nut allergy was no issue!
OMG, The Post Nacho was sooo good! And their Salmon filet was delicious. Really enjoyed our dinner at 11th Post on Queen. Beautiful experience.
Wow, second time here and again it was amazing, the venue is beautiful the service was amazing and the food was the topper. Try the mushroom arugula salad it is certainly a stand out. Enjoy peace and love
Wonderful experience here at the 11th Post. Great atmosphere, superb service and the food was outstanding. Great value with the date night special @ $95. 1 app, 2 entres, and 1 desert to share. Definitely will come back. 5 stars
Very nice cozy restaurant.
From the welcome to when arrived to the goodbyes at the end all was excellent. The waiter Josh was great, knew how the food was made which helped immensely with my gluten intolerance. Knowledge of the wines was excellent. We shared a salad and my wife said it was the best chicken entree she has had. I had the ribs, fall off the bone excellent. Manager Deanna dropped by to welcome us, rare in most other places. Tastefully decorated which helped the total ambiance, great afternoon. We will be back. Washrooms spotless in the basement but have a handicapped washroom with baby change table on main level. All very accessible. Dietary restrictions: Very knowledgeable and willing to adapt the order as required
Dinner for three including two appetizers and two glasses of wine with a tip $220. Wait staff were great however our foot took almost an hour to get brought out, several apologies by staff. Our mains were just ok. Not tasty, nor fresh, borderline odd in content. Good looking atmosphere but nothing else. Very disappointed overall, expected so much more. Won t return and can t recommend.
Was really very impressed when I visited here with my son after a Shaw Festival play recently. The smoked salmon was an unexpected surprise :-) really was a great late afternoon meal. Recommend to anyone.
Late lunch early dinner. Staff tried very hard to do a good job. Beer was great , food was ok. Would go back. Food : 4/5
Popped in for a drink and fell in love. Were looking forward to coming back and enjoying dinner, here.
Plenty of Two Sisters Vineyards wine on offer, the nachos were the greatest weve ever had, our salmon and ribeye frites entrées were cooked perfectly to order and a side dino kale salad rounded out the experience.
The food was excellent. The server was ok. The atmosphere was nice.
I attended a birthday dinner here and the service was great, but I was disappointed to find not one vegetarian option on the menu. Almost every restaurant has at least one real dish option that doesn t come with meat, the only dish I could order was a kale salad that came with no toppings, just a mountain of kale, dressing and chillies for around $26. Please consider adding a meat dish to your future menus, easy to do and keeps up with the times. Update to the reply: was I handed a meat specific menu then or are you just lying? Even your menu online shows no vegetarian dish other than the 2 salads. All of the add protein options are meat and fish. If you do have options then you should make them visible on a menu. Vegetarian options: None other than sides.
Lovely place, the food is amazing, the staff very friendly and professional. We love going there whenever we can.
Great food and exceptional service! Highly recommend this place! Very comfortable atmosphere! Food : 5/5
i witnessed the godoy brothers who are employed here itch each others junk whilst they baste steak which was later served to a customer. neither of the employees washed their hands during this transaction
Great atmosphere!
Food is amazing
We LOVE this place. We went twice in a one day trip. Lauren at the bar was amazing and so friendly. Highly recommend stopping in for a wine or seasonal cocktail!
Fabulous new restaurant, the seared tuna was amazing. Great decour and very good staff.
Amazing place downtown! The decor is beautiful, the staff is wonderful and the food is tasty! Worth the $$$. Will be recommending to my family and friends.
Newly opened place in Niagara on the Lake. Superb food - large portions and fresh ingredients. Very trendy and modern dining room. We went around 3/4pm for a late lunch and there were plenty of available seats. Burger was delicious and salads were a good portion. Wish this new restaurant nothing but the best! Thank you for a fantastic meal.
Wonderful experience at this eclectic new spot! Best nachos I ve ever had. Amazing ambience. Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be back
The 11th Post and Haley are a winning combination when it comes to a great dining experience. If youre looking for exceptional food and service in a welcoming and inviting atmosphere, this is definitely a restaurant worth checking out. We can t wait to return :) Trenton Family
Excellent dinner, excellent service, excellent food, really happy about that new restaurant. Great time there. Really recommanded. Big thank you to Cabe our service man who was so nice with us. I will go back for sure.
Elevated casual is the perfect description of this place. It is upscale and comfortable. The staff were all so nice, they were around when we needed them but not overbearing! The food was outstanding. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and the perfect dinner size meal, the burger was melt in your mouth amazing, and the beef dip also very good! Definitely recommend this place! We will definitely be going back soon!
This is a beautiful new restaurant and has a great ambience. The staff was very attentive and kind. The only issue I had is the price - Im happy to spend money when I see value and I understand Niagara on the Lake isnt cheap but the cheapest glass of red was $20 (5 ounces) and the Cobb Salad was $26 and was an appetizer size. There was about 2 ounces of chicken, half an egg, a quarter avocado and 1 piece of bacon in the salad. Tasted good but no value for money.
I sat and had dinner at the bar while the 5 ladies i was driving had their wine tour day dinner...very friendly staff and bartender demonstrated an immense drink data base in her head....she was busy creating so many various specialty drinks without any pause....truly amazing to watch...cheers
Chicken tenders were way over cooked. 18:00 for 5 oz glass of wine, atmosphere is very nice .Regret to say my post has been edited .
Amazing Experience with our Server Cade. Top notch Service. My Tamarind Beef Salad was the Best I ve ever had. Bravo!
Food was great ! The server Cade was fantastic, he knew everything on the menu. Will definitely come back. Thank you Cade for great night.
You have to try their burger with kale salad! It s 5-stars. Overall, super clean new space with nice looking interior design, comfy booths, large wine list (Two Sisters Winery owned restaurant), friendly staff and quick service. Great new addition to the dated restaurants scene on Queen Street.
We just had an amazing lunch today at 11th Post on Queen. Food was incredible and the service outstanding. Beautiful decor ..will definitely go back.
Very disappointed with our meal. The cocktails were very good, the restaurant looks beautiful and the waitress was very nice but not happy with the food. Ordered the Cobb salad, and they should not call it a Cobb salad (at least not what they have on the menu), and we thought we were getting one of those beautiful Cobb salads that we usually get at other places but did not. They charged us the price of a big salad but got the size of a side salad. But it wasnt even just the size, it barely had any of those great fixings we enjoy in a Cobb salad. I should have taken a picture but I didnt because I too hungry to think and too disappointed. We had to order fries just to fill us and came home and had cereal. And anyone who has ever ordered a true Cobb salad knows you dont need to order a side of fries to fill you. We didnt say anything at first but our friends were even more disappointed for us so they said something to the waitress, and they didnt even have the salad. The waitress told us that she was sorry for not telling us what their Cobb salad looked like. She felt bad so she gave us a free dessert but the dessert wasnt any good so it didnt take away from the disappointment, just added to it. So not saying not to go to this restaurant, just get the burger would be my suggestions because it looked good, and it was only $2 more than the salad.
Absolutely amazing! My spouse and I both enjoyed our experience there as well as the food, everything we ordered was both filled with flavor and very well prepared. I will return. Food : 5/5
Great place on the main strip but not right in it. Nice balcony eating and decor inside. Definitely dine again food was great
Atmosphere inside the restaurant was fantastic and the food was even better! Had a great time!!!
Incredible atmosphere and the cuisine and wine are soooooooo good
We had a beautiful late lunch at this restaurant. It has a luxurious fit-out and a lovely relaxed outside porch also with seating. The food was divine - tasty burgers and nibbles, lovely vegetarian salads etc. It also has a great selection of Niagara Falls wines from the Two Sisters Winey. The staff are lovely. Highly recommend!
Food amazing I had the salmon flavourful, light it was perfect My partner had the short ribs meat fell of the bone, flavour very rich it was delicious. Definitely recommend this spot!
We had drinks on Saturday evening and returned for lunch on Sunday. Enjoyed sitting on the porch both times and received excellent service. Definitely get the post nachos!
My husband and I went there for our anniversary and it was such a great experience! I mindlessly booked my reservation for Sunday instead of Saturday and the staff accommodated us. The staff was so helpful, proactive and friendly. As for the food it was amazing!! Would definitely go again.
Came here on a Saturday with my husband. It was a great experience. The food was delicious and great service. I loved the atmosphere as well. I did find the wine quite pricy for what I got but that s a minor detail. Overall we are happy and would love to Come back. Parking: I advise coming early as there is minimal Parking
Burger was great, chicken tenders were tasty. Our only disappointment was the Cobb salad as it was more a side salad portion than entree sized for the price ($26). However they did compensate with a complementary dessert!
Great spot, great ambiance, very good food , good quality and taste. Excellent service and on top of that, good wine! Food
Very bad service.
The French Dip sandwich was pricey at $30 and the jus which accompanied it was too salty. Nice atmosphere.
Limited menu. Weird pairings, e.g. salmon with mashed potatoes. Wine by the glass is only available in 5 ounce servings. Worst of all, the music!!! I felt like I was in a nightclub. Too loud. I would have preferred light jazz.
Very strange atmosphere... the music was for the very young but presumably their clientele would be older theatre goers like myself. Very warm temperature in the room. Very limited menu. Wine was pricey ($25 and $18) and sold only by the 5oz glass... an old trick. Youd think they would sell their own wine as a loss leader! We wanted to book at the winery (Two Sisters) but they were full... wont make this mistake again. BTW... it was empty.
Sat and waited over 15 minutes after ordering drinks, finally left after being ignored. Patio was nice, would fire everyone and try again.
Food and service were top-notch. Everyone one in my family enjoyed their meal and by far had the best salmon ever. It was cooked to perfection.
Nice to see a restaurant in town catering to a younger more upbeat atmosphere. We are locals and go regularly. Nachos, Kale Salad, and Burger will likely come up in multiple reviews, two of the better dishes in NOTL.
We had a really nice time at the 11th post this evening. The food was lovely, we tried the Ribeye & the Nachos! The Ribeye was cooked to perfection. Oven was our server & he was a very helpful soul Keep up the great work guys (:
We had a lovely dinner at 11th Post . Nice patio and a good size internal seating area . I ordered the Salmon, it was cooked very well , and the vegetables were fresh . Very clean place and the service was excellent. For a very touristic area, this restaurant offers an excellent lunch choice.
Decent food. Great vibe. You need to go at least once
These restaurants are just getting better and better
Spent a couple days in NOTL. Went to 11th Post with my wife looking for some healthy alternatives. We started with the artichoke dip. For the mains She had the salmon and I had the Tuna rice bowl. Was excellent! We had Owen as our server. You have to ask for him. He was excellent! Made great suggestions for dinner, was talkative and witty yet not overbearing! Would definitely recommend 11th Post
Elegantly appointed in a great location. Excellent food, the burger was delicious.
Had a lovely dinner here on their outdoor patio along the side of the restaurant. I loved being able to be outside while still being covered. Personally I thought the menu could have had a few more choices for dinner (maybe a pasta or meat) But the salmon I had was delicious and the mashed potatoes were too.
17 words: make sure you eat at this place when you are in the area periodt. It may be pricey, but hey! You are already in a tourist area so help the damn economy out! Tourists/immigrants are paying those prices already, why not you??? Just look at the pictures Im attaching since theyre worth 1000 more words than this review.
Absolutely delicious meal. Great drinks and beautiful atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Had lunch with friends. Everything was excellent. Would strongly recommend this restaurant. Vegetarian options: Enough options to satisfy. Parking: Parked on the street. Being a week day it was easy.
Absolutely stunning place. Food was excellent. Service was amazing and the atmosphere wonderful. I had the tuna dish and my friend had the salmon. Very very good. Definitely a must stop if you want to escape touristy stuff. Food
Excellent quality and fresh food
The food is top notch, you can instantly see that a chef is running a brigade properly but the service lets this place down. Stop hiring kids who have no clue, pay the extra bucks and get some seasoned service staff.
Newly opened but 11th Post is running up to speed already, the service here was great! We enjoyed our meal and the wines are from Two Sisters and are always good!. This is a good spot for lunch as you wander the shops of the historic downtown Niagra on the Lake town.
My wife are I ate at 11th Post last night at 6pm We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming Hostess that took us by request out to sit on front patio which was really quite charming Brooke was our server and she was absolutely delightful and made some great drink and food suggestions. We shared the Nachos which might be best we have ever tried The ribeye was cooked to oerfection and very tastey. We are botg locals from town and really enjoyed everything about this restaurant and will be for sure coming back. Thank you for a delightful experience
We came with a large family with children. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Proper serving - bring it to everyone at once. Delicious food. In my opinion, the portion sizes from the childrens menu are the same as those for adults.
This place was great! We had Victoria as our server. She knows the menu inside & out & her reccomendations were on point!! Would 100% recommend this place. Make sure you get Victoria as your server. She was amazing!
Great meal with friends. Well be back!
Visited this wonderful restaurant today with a couple of friends and we all enjoyed the lovely atmosphere and delicious food. We were greeted at the front door right upon entry and our waitress was very attentive, polite and helpful. She made a few recommendations and we ended up trying variety of food including burgers, beef sandwich, Cobb salad, kale salad and the nachos which were all made to perfection. This place is fairly new and the interior design is lovely, modern and cozy with comfortable furniture and option for patio dining. Definitely a 5 out of 5 and I got the credit for doing my research and recommending this place to my friends :) Kid-friendliness: We had a 3months old baby with us and the staff were very accommodating and placed us in a spot with easy access and space for babys stroller
Beautiful restaurant. Nice staff. They will help pair your food with a wine.
Wow! What has happened to Canada & their restaurants. My wife & I walked in at 8:30 - many tables in the dining area & bar were available. We were told they were not accepting walk ins til 9:00 pm & with a modified menu. We were not offered to go to the empty bar. Yikes! Restaurants turning away customers in a half empty restaurant???? Yup, this is Canada - wonder why so many new restaurants fail each year? BTW - we are Canadians.
Super tasty. It is exceptionally worth recommending.
Beautiful new restaurant, a welcome addition to Queen Street, NOTL. Casually elegant, raises the bar on the strip. Delicious food. Excellent service by Fiona, Chantelle, and Regan. Amazing Spare Ribs and incredible Beef Dip! I cant wait to go back.
Had not been in this place before..took a chance and went in for lunch... we were not disappointed ..service and food fantastic plus each main course recommended a wine too compliment it ..had one glass as I was not driving..
We had an amazing meal here, really tasty. Love they carry Two Sisters wine. Brooke our server was excellent too. Pictured here is dessert
Great time got a med rare burger when we ordered well got it comped lovely time with our waitress who was great
Very nice atmosphere! Food was very very good! Brooke J was our server and she was exceptional, she recommend we try the nachos and they will delicious. Would definitely recommend
Dog friendly, great menu selection
Excellent food, great decor, unobtrusive music.
Some of staff members were racist! At entrance the women who helps with seating was mean and racist. She won t give us a table and lied about being fully booked and half of the restaurant was empty, also she helped others but not us. After some time someone else came and helped us with the table. Not happy with discrimination.
Décor outstanding. Food not so much. Fried chicken sandwich soggy with pickle juice, chicken tenders overcooked. Beef nachos inedible by all four of us - too many large jalapeño slices. Wine by the glass $22. They push you to order more.
Make sure you stop by if you in town! Food is so delicious!! Restaurant interiors are so pretty and you can also enjoy the patios, front and side! We had lunch here and even our dog got a special attention! If you love chicken, order the Roasted from the menu! The juiciest and tastiest I ever had! The Tamarind salad was delicious and the Smoke salmon from starter was amazing! Great options in beer and wine! A must !
The food and service was very good. Just not what we expected. Like a Moxies. Wine was very expensive and the restaurant was hot. We stayed but several people left or went outside to eat. Won t be going back. Stick with Kitchen 76
Everything was perfect for this sister restaurant of the Two Sisters vineyard. The food was impeccable, beautiful presentation. The service was attentive and the wine perfect. Long live Canadian wine! In terms of atmosphere, we were seated on the terrace, which was perfect, but inside, the restaurant is so large that it lacks warmth. Well done!
Absolitely loved it, the food is amazing. I cant stop thinking about those delicious nachos and the rice tuna bowl, but everything Ive tried is fantastic. The place is nice and always have great service. Food
Fabulous addition on Queen St. Servers very well versed in their knowledge of how to work in a high end restaurant. Food is fresh, amazing and well presented. Wheelchair restroom on main floor of restaurant for those who have limited mobility. Front patio in Old Town is picturesque.
Very tasty and atmospheric in this establishment. I recommend trying their fish.
We ate dinner at this restaurant tonight and wanted to leave an honest opinion. We arrived after 7:00 pm on a Saturday and waited only 30 min for a table. We sat at the bar and had a cocktail while we waited. Sarah the bartender is a goddess and makes an amazing whiskey sour. I highly recommend! She also gave my husband and me some interesting information about the area. The ambiance of the restaurant is fabulous and they have paid attention to every detail. My husband ordered the ribs with coleslaw and a side of roasted broccoli, and it was really good with some unexpected flavours they kept you wanting to take another bite. I ordered the steak frites and for $60 it was definitely not worth it. The steak was cooked as I ordered it, but it was chewy, poorly trimmed and uninspiring. I was thoroughly disappointed. Overall an experience that was positive and we d go back again to try other dishes on the menu.
Beautiful restaurant with a front and side patios. Great service and food is amazing. Food
We were in the area with our dog and was going to dine here (as it came up as dog friendly when we googled reccos) until we learned that dogs are actually not permitted on patio; they can be tethered on the outside of the fencing :( The menu looks great, hopefully well get to check it out another trip!
New place good food, good wine, grate service, right downtown Niagra on the Lake.
Food is not that good. Service terrible. But the drinks were delicious. I d recommend this place for drinks only. If you are desperate.
Saw a wonderful play on a beautiful day and stopped by the 11 Post for dinner. No one was at the reception desk and didn t see a Please wait to be seated sign. My husband and I picked a table from the many tables available after watching others do the same. After 10 min, a waiter came to our table told us we needed to go to the front desk before being seated, so we did. We were told that they weren t taking walk-ins. It was almost embarrassing to be turned away from a restaurant that was more than half empty. They must be doing very well, but I doubt that.
Great servers and above average food & drinks
Opened spring 2023 with modern, stylish yet cozy ambiance. Attentive service with food not disappointing. A great experience when visiting NOTL.
Another 5 star rank to the gentleman waiter, who get me back the bag I left after lunch. Thanks so much.
Upscale pub food. What? Its like burger and fries, right? But the seasonings and cooking elevate the dish. Great place.
Great service. Underwhelming food. More style than substance. Overpriced and so many better options.
@Lindsay Smith our waitress and @DeAnna the manager - Both greeted us with a warm welcome and a Sparkling Rose Atmosphere is elegant and sophisticated. Food Divine! This will be a landmark upon our return. Next stop, Two Sisters Winery also affiliated with this beautiful restaurant. Food
The decor and vibe of this restaurant is on point! Highly recommend the post nachos - easily the best nachos I ve ever had! Great drinks as well!
Great food and nice wine. Was a pleasant experience
So often in Niagara or on the Lake you re paying for a view or an ambience. The food here was the star. They re not reinventing the wheel but doing classic dishes extremely well, using fresh ingredients. Went with my family, we tried most things on their menu, nothing was less than perfect. The harvest soup and artichoke dips were fantastic. The Chicken sandwich, Post burger and Tenders were amazing. The Cobb, Beef Tamarind and Zucchini Salads were out of this world. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Apple crumble was such a perfect desert to round it all out. Our server Alex was also wonderful. Overall a 5/5 dining experience. Will come back. If you re in NOTL and you re having one meal, let it be here.
Beautiful decor, delicious food, and great service! Would definitely recommend the chicken sandwich.
absolutely love this spot! we ordered two chardonnay s and split the burger + fries and fried chicken sandwich + kale salad and everything was delicious! if I had to pick between the two mains, I d defs go w the fried chicken sandwich. will have to make a trip out to NOTL again just to come here! staff are super sweet as well
Very well thought out and fresh take on chicken with amazing atmosphere and service as always
An excellent location for dinner, it will be my go-to anytime Im in the area. The food was delicious, try the kale salad, I can eat that all day.
Recently had dinner here as a recommendation from a friend of ours. We ordered some cocktails and some apps to start. The Post Nacho s are probably the best nachos in the region. Layered well, piled generously and full of flavour. Tremendous. Where we were let down was the mains, service and the value for money. The rib entre was on par with a Kelsey or Montanna s. Dry, overcooked and tough to eat. No where near my expectations for a $42 entree and at a marketed and perceived upper ecehlon establishment like 11th post. My wife s tuna bowl was mediocre at best. Lacked real defined flavour, small portion and all rice. We both agreed some of the all you can eat sushi restaurants in Niagara offered better quality tuna. For the $80 on these two dishes you re far better to go across the street to Treadwell and get a real culinary experience for only a little more. To top it off the server forgot our second round of drinks, yet they appeared on the bill when we went to square up. I expect more for a $200 dinner for two and I believe most people do. Although this restaurant will likely succeed given its location and attraction to both American and Toronto tourists it is a poor choice for a $100 pp (with drinks) dinner experience in my opinion.
My group of 7 were so impressed. The food. All of us were blown away. I live 2 hours away, but would make the trip just to dine here.
Service just Ok, limited entree selection, wine extremley overpriced for 5 oz glass, min 21$. As there is so much selection in Niagara I would suggest elsewhere.
Great place. Excellent food quality and great service.
Great restaurant, food and drinks were fantastic. Easy parking. Had the salmon and Tuna Poke Bowl.
I give this the highest praise! Lovely atmosphere, The NICEST employees, So Sweet, accomodating and happy! The menu is great! Something for everyone and delicious!! We Had 6 people and everyone loved their choice!
Cant say enough! Atmosphere and service only surpassed by the amazing food. One of the best in Niagara!
One of the best meals Ive ever had. Fresh, flavourful and interesting textures. 11/10. I had the beef tamarind salad and harvest soup.
Food was great, loved the atmosphere and its located in the heart of NOTL. Would definitely return.
