We had the Thanksgiving dinner at Noble restaurant this past weekend and were thoroughly impressed! Not only was the atmosphere lovely and romantic, the food was also incredible. The flavours paired very well together, and the portions were generous. We found out that this was chef's JP's first menu, and we are excited to try his next. Our waiter Taylor was very attentive and meticulous about ensuring that my food was safe from my allergens. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.
Love the atmosphere. Food was OK, but prefer more subtle breading on the fish ... service was OK, but got a bit political ... All things considered, we'd go back again ...
Historic and impressive. Well maintained. Great ambience. Friendly faces from the moment you walk in. We are already thinking about going back for dinner. Food came in timely fashion and presentation was lovely. There’s something unique in every corner. Fresh roses everywhere aesthetically pleasing.
Located at the prettiest corner in Niagara-on-the-Lake experience the best of Wine Country cuisine at Noble Restaurant. Savour the bounty of seasonal cuisine as it is revealed in innovative menus created by Executive Chef, whi masterfully blends art and science to create dishes sure to stimulate and satisfy the most discerning palates.
A great fine-dining experience. We had dinner - Lamb, Bass, and Sirloin Beef. Food, service, and atmosphere are all wonderful and of high quality. We were served by Neil and service was extremely comfortable. There was free parking right outside that Friday evening (8PM-10AM) which was so convenient. Bathroom were neat and smelled amazing. Interior itself is well kept and classy.
Noble is located in the beautiful town of Niagara-on-the-lake, part of the Prince of Wales hotel, one of the most legendary I town, the restaurant offers you a very classic proposal according to the prestige of the hotel. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, with a clear client centric approach. However, when it comes to food all the dishes are executed correctly but nothing will you remember with exceptions like their braised lamb. But everything else is good but when you look at what you paying, the rating goes down. Also understanding that they are trying to maximize the number of tables per square foot it might feel a bit too tight considering you are paying a premium price. Overall if you are looking for a good classical experience in a landmark this is your place but check your expectations to ensure you don’t get disappointed.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Very reasonable price for the quality food. I would suggest not to dine at Niagara Falls as they mostly serve overpriced mediocre food in general. Drive 20-25 mins to Niagara on the Lake for a nice meal alone is worth it. We had breakfast there recently but their lunch and dinner are equally great.
The service and atmosphere are perfectly paired with the ambiance associated with a prestige hotel built in the 1800's. The wine list is extensive, food is fantastic, and the staff go out of their way to ensure you're well looked after. The Mushroom Toast is highly recommended!
The service, wine selection, and atmosphere are top-notch. The food was very well presented. However, we found it a bit too salted.
Its beautiful food is all really good. Gluten free friendly and vegetarian friendly. Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: Yes Kid-friendliness: If kids are behaved, its ok, but its a quiet, sofisticated atmosphere Wheelchair accessibility: Possibility
What a brutal experience cold, underwhelming, and inaccurate food Prince of Wales guests deserve better for its fantastic atmosphere. To make matters worse, when the manager (Bill) finally came over, instead of addressing our concerns, he was dismissive and obnoxious adding insult. Its truly baffling how a place like this can have such little regard for its food and service.
Our waiter Frank was helpful & kind. The food was luxuriously delicious
Top notch food and service.
Had High Tea there. Amazing staff and ambiance. Absolutely gorgeous building with elaborate rooms. Will make it a traditional stop on trips to NOTL.
The fish and chips were not fresh and super greasy. The Caesar salad with chicken breast was not worth the price. Again not fresh and the chicken breast tasted like it was frozen. The service was subpar. The restaurant has a cool, historic feel, but the ambiance isn t there. Not worth the price.
Fantastic Highland High Tea. Traditional service (the meat pies were a delicious surprise), beautiful room (Prince of Wales), and wonderful service (thanks, Diane)
Amazing dinner with friends. Beautiful dining room, outstanding food, impeccable service. Extensive wine list. We had the scallops & brassica salad as appetizers. For mains we had the duck breast, lamb and striploin steak. We also had decadent desserts. Everything was expertly prepared & delicious. Fine dining at it s best.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Noble and were blown away. Everything about our evening was top-notch. Graham was our server, and his attention to detail was impressive. From his knowledge of the menu and wine pairings, to his excellent sense of humor, he really made our night memorable. We shared a serving of steak tartarre, followed by main courses of trout and steak, along with local seasonal vegetables. We were also treated to a delicious amuse-bouche by the chef and our desserts featured messages of chocolate-written happy anniversary on the plates. If you have a special occasion on your calendar and are looking for a regal dining experience, I highly recommend Nobel Restaurant at The Prince of Wales Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Amazing food, professional and courteous service, a great ambiance
Bucket list experience! Jodi our server was amazing She went above and beyond to keep me safe. We will return to be served by Jodi
Very poor quality food thats priced as fine dining food. To say the food was poor quality, flavorless, plain tasting and small portioned is putting it mildly. We visit Niagara On The lake a few times every summer and always wanted to try the restaurant at this hotel because it looks and feels like a fine dining place. We finally did visit the restaurant yesterday and it was a huge disappointment to say the least. The quality of food surprised us to be honest, and not in a good way. We had a seafood pasta which was bland, no sauce, just a hint of lemon, oil and white wine mixed together with some greens and about 5 small pieces of shrimp and three pieces of scallops. The dish was below mediocre, and pretty much flavourless/plain. Dont forget the prices are up there, fine dining levels for food of this quality, its disappointing to say the least. Second dish was a pan seared Bass which was a little better than the pasta but still very mediocre, not to mention the size of the fillet would probably leave a small child hungry afterwards, while also priced way up there at $61. It doesnt stop there, the service for the lack of a better word, sucked! The lady serving us was hardly paying much attention to us, while taking our drinks order, she was looking elsewhere and started communicating with someone else in the middle of us making an order, which is quite rude and unprofessional, you are talking and ordering a drink and she is pretty much ignoring you, and looking at someone/or somewhere else, leaving you to wonder if she even heard you. We were waiting for the drinks for a long time afterwards and our table wasnt even offered water during our wait. All in all a bad experience, bad service, food was honestly not good, drinks were mediocre and a final slap in the face the price which you have to pay for something like this. The angry look we got for leaving a small tip was also quite rude, and seems like some people forget that if the service is bad and food is bad, how can you honestly expect a customer to pay a good tip? We would definitely not recommend going to this restaurant, but if you must, youll see for yourself. Thanks
We visited for lunch on our anniversary and were very excited to enjoy a memorable time at an iconic place in NOTL. We were surprised when the young waiter did not bring the correct wine to our table. Having ordered a favourite Riesling from a local winery, when he poured red, it surprised us needless to say. He made many excuses that the bartender had given him the wrong wine, etc., and substituted it for the right one eventually. No amends were made. I had to ask for an ice bucket for our white wine. Once he brought that and a very generous and lovely charcuterie board, saying that the two girls kitchen did a nicer job of arranging it than usual. When I corrected him that they were actually two female chefs, he didn t seem to understand the faux pas. When he checked back and we asked about the items on the board, he didn t know and it was obvious he was guessing. He didn t check back further or pour the wine or do any follow up until it was time for the bill. We had been asked if it was a special occasion by the hostess and when we made the reservation. Though we had mentioned that it was our anniversary, nothing was done at all about that. We were surprised by the lack of service and other aspects of this somewhat less than momentous luncheon. Parking: Good, free parking for restaurant.
Went here for a celebration over the weekend and our whole experience was amazing. Our server Graham was a pro, very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was amazing. Burrata, Duck and Steak were all incredible.
Absolutely amazing
Nice place
Great food and exceptional service from Andrea. She was truly wonderful!!
The ambience was really nice and the lamb was really good. Neil was our waiter and he was nice, friendly and chatty. Loved it. Fred helped us get our non-alcoholic cocktails and he was quite helpful in explaining the menu in plain English. Some dent to the wallet but it was worth it for mbride and the kind of service. Happy I chose this venue to mark our anniversary.
Lovely spot for breakfast in NOTL. Everything is very fresh and the service was extremely hospitable and professional. The room is very beautiful and true to the historic building. Super cute. Will be back!
Such a fabulous dinner @ Noble s Prince of Wales Neil our server was amazing!!!!
An amazing spot with great service, great food, and great atmosphere. The views from the restaurant were phenomenal and the lamb stew was fantastic.
Simple menu, with everything made from high quality ingredients. Dont expect something very exotic.
Best fine dining experience since COVID!
We had a reservation here right after my engagement in 2022 with a few family members. It was a nice experience and staff were attentive.
The ambiance of this place during Christmas is truly charming and cozy. The service was outstanding, and our server, was exceptionally courteous. The food generally impressed us, especially the King Bowl, which was delightful. However, the lamb stew, though adequate, fell short in terms of flavor and had an excessive amount of potatoes. Overall, it s a lovely spot for an afternoon meal
Went last night to celebrate my husbands birthday. We had graham as our server, and Fred as our sommelier. Amazing service from start to end. Thank you for a beautiful meal.
I want to start with saying our server was lovely. The place is beautiful. The food was very basic and not fresh. It was four of us for lunch, we all ordered the smash burger flavour was bland,I could not believe the quality of bread. You could not bite it with out it breaking apart, you can tell it was old bread probably frozen. The salad was bland, and for the price absolutely not worth it. Maybe we ordered the wrong menu items, but for a place like this you expect a little better quality for what you re spending. And I shouldn t be worried about ordering the wrong thing, everything should be good. The presentation was nice.
Christmas dinner was nothing special, Mt son had the filet and it came 3 green beans and half a potatoe!
octopus pasta was so awful, bitter like raw fish gallbladder barely eatable, and the restaurant did not provide any compensation, it ruined the whole meal
My boyfriend and I dined here during our stay in Niagara at the Prince of Wales hotel. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Unfortunately though there was an issue with another customer who had gotten to intoxicated and was screaming swear words and tossing things over the whole time we were trying to enjoy our meal. It really was quite unfortunate for the restaurant and for the staff. Im not sure why she wasnt removed. Big shout out to our server LD Who went out of His way to make our stay more comfortable anyway he could.
Was an amazing stay at the Prince of Wales Hotel!!!
This place has every reason to be five stars if fixed few minor issues. The Good: design, courtesy of our waiter, great food taste. The Bad: the chlorine smell the moment you enter the hotel is horrible. I get it: it comes from the pool, but they have to do something about it as it smells like a public washroom. The next, the white linen table cloth had a stain. Yikes! The classical music is way too depressing. And worst of all: the lady in charge of the morning session started moving chairs dragging them and making an uncomfortable noise. If I pay $100 for a breakfast, I want things to be perfect. If not, I would go to Tim Hortons....
Food was amazing, and the service was impeccable. Highly recommended for a special occasion.
The food tasted good, service was top notch. Great for date nights and celebrating special moments with your significant other, but it s expensive (it s fine given the ambience and experience).
Excellent fine dining. Ambiance is first class, including the silverware, music, linens, fresh flowers, and tableware. From the time you walk in, are greeted, seated, dine, and leave, this place is a 100% class act. Service is old-school, courteous, impeccable service. The filet and trout were perfectly cooked. The table side soup was just amazing. If you havent had enough of an experience, look around the place and enjoy the luxuriousness that surrounds you! I love it.
Wow, an experience like no other. The view was spectacular, Kathy, our server was professional, funny, and such a joy. The food, OMG! Top quality on all counts. Pricey, but you get what you pay for and more. I would recommend it for a special group occasion or a romantic evening out. Love, love, love.
Love the food and the cauliflower soup was amazing! Service was great as well.
Server completely disinterested in helping us. Zero attempt at rapport. Food was good even if the atmosphere was brutal
We stopped in for breakfast. A good selection of all the basic breakfast staples. Great lighting and sunlight by the windows over looking the street. Fast, professional, friendly service. Reservations recommended.
Places great to get together for a nice meal. Our waiter was amazing. The food was okay. It would be nice if it was a little more neurodivergent friendly.
The food and service is amazing well worth the drive to Niagara on the Lake
Horrible overpriced food. Great service. Never again.
Great menu, wonderful atmosphere and experience.
Our dining experience at Noble was 5 stars all the way! We started with a complimentary deconstructed Caprese salad, followed by the soup of the day which was tomato/red pepper and the bread service. For our mains we shared the Aged Ontario Beef Ribeye and Spaghetti allo Scoglio. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and was very flavourful while the Spaghetti had lots of quality seafood and very large scallops. When they put flower petals on your steak you know you are in for something special. For dessert our server suggested the Lemon Cranberry Creme Brulee. We agreed that this was the best Creme Brulee that weve ever had and honestly its not even close! I still cant believe how good it was. The service was very good and its a great location for hotel guests to enjoy.
The place is very beautiful with amazing natural light during the day. I really enjoyed sitting there and taking in the view of the garden across from the main entrance of the hotel. I wasn t too impressed with the food. Margarita pizza was a take on the traditional heavy with cheese and also with onions. The smash burger was quite dry but still tasty. It also wasn t a traditional smash burger (but that s not a big deal - may be just change the name) ingredients on the burger also tasted ok. We arrived late from our reservations and they were very understanding and accommodating. Reuben our waiter was extremely nice and his service was great. I was asked by another waiter when we arrived if I wanted coffee and they never brought it.
Nobility shines through. The age old dining room reeks of atmosphere of great days gone by. The wonderful club chairs, the carpeting, the ambience invites you to linger on and soak in the atmosphere. The food is wonderful, tasty and the service is impeccable. The price slightly on the high side but that too is good. Wish it were closer. I would haver made it my weekly restaurant. Thank you staff, thank you chef and thank you for making a wonderful occasion more wonderful. (The restaurant has parking behind so ask before you park.) Parking: There is a parking behind the hotel
We recently visited Niagara on the Lake to see a theatre performance with a group and the location chosen to stop at for lunch before the show was Noble. I don t like to complain, but for a restaurant of this calibre and for the price we paid the chicken breast we were served was dry and tasteless, cardboard would have been more appealing. I had asked if I could have my Caesar salad with no dressing as I have an allergy to garlic and I was told, no, as they were already prepared. The lady serving us was beyond rude, there were 2 young men also working who were pleasant but not at our table. Asked if it was possible to have coffee with our meal, again, the answer given was no. After speaking to other people in our group, the unanimous feedback is that the lunch was inedible. I would not ever return here .
Great place nice staff, good food ,good menu, lots of choices
Extraordinary food and service at a historic building. All the entree items we ordered were very well made and fresh. Creme brulé dessert was delicious.
Great food and service!
Delicious seafood!!! The seafood pasta was one of the best meals I ve had recently! My boyfriend had the fish and also thought it was fantastic. The traditional ambience here makes for a nice, classy dinner date spot!
Impeccable service. However food wasn t that great. I ordered the margarita pizza and it was quite bland.
Very well presented and tasty food.
Excellent breakfast and service! Highly recommend the Noble restaurant when you come to visit notl! Check out the lounge for a drink and the tea room for a unique high tea experience! The male Manager is very professional and helpful! Can t wait to go back! The servers are excellent and the food is delicious!
We had breakfast at Noble, nice atmosphere but we waited very long for our food. I had the oatmeal which was ok but I ve had better ones. Although the place is very noble there was no freshly squeezed OJ available.
We were excited to try lunch at Noble. Usually when we come to NOTL we go to Angel Inn or another location. Wish we had. I ordered the Fishwich Sandwich and fries and my husband ordered shrimp /scallops and fries. Both meals had this dry spice rub on it. It was awful. My fish was over done. Very small portions of fries for both meals. My white peach sangria was the best part of the meal. Unfortunately meal not worth the $100 total. Our server was extremely nice. Felt bad for her because a very large group arrived and there wasnt enough staff for that group and current patrons in the restaurants. Unfortunately she received unkind words from some customers. Not her fault. Better planning needed by restuarant staff. Will not return.
A beautiful restaurant that has a very elegant atmosphere with wonderful service and delicious food. The lamb burger was a bit gamey as lamb has a tendancy to be but very fresh and flavorful. The fish and chips were served in a traditional batter and flaky. They also seem to have a beautifully set up afternoon tea. The server was attentive and friendly as was the host. It sits in the Prince of Wales hotel which is quite elegant and a nice place to visit when trying to escape the high energy and crowds of Niagara falls. Overall, a terrific restaurant well worth the visit.
Anna was absolutely amazing and the service was incredible. We would come here again just to see Anna!
Everything is world class. Although we had cuts of meat that were unable to be cut by a steak knife. I realize that it is almost impossible to know what veining through a cut but this was beyond hard to cut it was impossible, something anyone should be able to screen before being chosen.
Excellent service, food, and atmosphere
There was zero flavour in the food. Such an expensive place and we were so underwhelmed. The risotto had no flavour and the food was beyond bland. Please do not go here and waste your hard earned money.
We went back again because of the outstanding service that Michelle gave us yesterday. The food was great and they even made us a special fruit dish in addition to the food we ordered since we wanted more fruit to eat this morning. Parking: Use number spots
Great place for breakfast/brunch. You will be full as the portions are quite large. Very friendly servers, chef is on point! Best eggs Benedict!! Swiss cheese omelette is awesome and the home fries are addictive. Congratulations to Jeremy and his F & B Team and of course Chef Symthe . Located in the iconic and historic Prince of Wales in picturesque Niagara-in-the-Lake. Treat yourself.
NOT worth the money ! The The food is some of the lowest quality I have ever witnessed . We ordered the margarita pizza , it was worse than a frozen pizza from the box in a restaurant . Even worse its price point was at $27. For such high prices they should improve on their dishes . Service was poor also. Our waiter never came to fill our glasses with water . We almost had to walk inside to pay the bill.
It was very nice, but, very, slow. Very slow.
Great
The food and service were excellent. My sister and I ordered 4 appetizers and an entree. The waiter had food staggered which really made the experience enjoyable. Vegetarian options: There were a couple options for vegetarians, especially a decadent chocolate cake.
Went this past Saturday for my birthday with my partner. We had Taylor as our server, who wss absolutely phenomenal! Deserves a raise. Was able to recommend and describe both beers as well as dishes and was able to get us a sample of the whiskey butter even though it didnt normally come with the dishes we ordered. Overall one of the nicest restaurant experiences Ive ever had
Wonderful meal and great service
What a nice find on a rainy touristy day. Delicious.
Jackson was amazing! Loved the food and his service. Deserves a raise! Keep killing it Jackson. Love your Ohio friends.
Delicious pasta dinner, my companion had fish and ships. Hot, tasty, friendly service. Not too busy, quiet, will go again, second visit here.
Great place. Had a delicious Anniversary dinner, great recommendations for food and drinks.
THE lovely Anna served us s delicious meal. Thank you.
It was an amazing experience. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere very nostalgic with old world charm. Food was fantastic and dessert the best.
Great food and service!
Amazing. I love a good burger and Noble delivers. Juicy and full of flavour and very reasonable price given the level of service from the staff. Turkey soup was awesome and this is what i love - simple comfort food done with care. Coffee is great value - most places charge you for a cup, they give you the pot! Its enough to serve 2 people so its plenty and generous.
My wife Jen and I have had many fantastic meals at Noble as you can tell by the photos. We stay at the Prince of Wales and opt in for the dinner package which we find is a great value. Graham is always friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive which makes our evenings extra special. We look forward to coming back again. Thank you!
Food was great and the restaurant was very accommodating of our toddler. Really nice ambience and service.
Food was good but overpriced.
Exactly the kind of lunch you d be after in Niagara on the Lake. Charming, a bit posh, great service, impressive wine list.
The food was great. The lighting was quite bright making it not feel as cozy as we usually expect from fancier restaurants. Great overall
One of the best restaurants that Ive ever been
Fell flat. From the fine dining perspective. Staff and ambience is great.
Terrible lobster dish. No flavour. Pure salt.
Had dinner and breakfast here as part of a package with Prince of Wales, the food here was AMAZING. Would definitely come back again.
We went for lunch and it was great! Cocktails were amazing! So far the best margarita I have ever had, the expresso martini was wow! Food was also great. Our server was friendly and polite and very helpful. Can t wait to go back!
We enjoyed three breakfasts and one birthday celebration dinner at Noble. Dinner food was delicious, breakfast was great. It s an amazing location for celebrations. Intimate, classy and plenty of options for drinks. Very nice wine list. Improvements: I wish they had real peanut butter (not the cheap Kraft one in little plastic boxes, of which they actually run out too after the first breakfast) as well as bananas in their kitchen. Also, we prepaid for full breakfast as part of our stay, and yet we got charged extra for asking for a fried egg together with the pancakes breakfast plate. Not cool
My wife and I dined there for dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were lucky to have the same server at breakfast for both days. Adrianna was very friendly and helpful except she has something against serving orange juice
Very disappointed. The food and service are subpar.
Enjoyed a very nice lunch and although the menu for lunch is a little small in terms of selection the food did not disappoint. Our staff were very accommodating in giving us the table that we wanted. The fish and chips is really nice and recommend to try.
Went for lunch on Victoria Day. Although the food was decent, it came out extremely slow. It took over an hour for our food to come, then another for the server and wine sommelier to look for a wine we ordered, only to come back and tell us that they couldnt find it. No one tried to rectify anything and those are two hours Ill never get back. Overall, the service was slow and inattentive, making it one of the worst experiences Ive ever had in Ontario.
Amazing dinner and following day breakfast.
Second time dining there during our stay at the Vintage Hotels and it was just as delicious as the first time 5 years ago. Great service. Caters to all types of food restrictions. Gluten free bread is delicious!
Restaurants simply don t get better than Nobel. Let s begin with food and then talk about service. The shrimp cocktail was served with a lovely cocktail sauce that was a bit creamy and rich with just a hint of acidity (at least, to me) and garnished with gorgeous raw vegetables, herbs and lettuce that were a compliment and not just decor. The steak was *perfectly* cooked with a squash (?) purée that enhanced the spot-on seasoning and flavours. My guest had the lamb chops which fell off that damn bone and we re encrusted with spices that were magical. The server knew the food inside and out, the Sommelier made excellent recommendations, and they were both funny, engaging and respectful. We sat in the hotel lounge directly after to listen to music and couldn t stop complimenting the whole experience. It s expensive but worth it at least once.
Food was super delicious and beautifully presented! From appetizers to desserts they were a 10 out of 10 for us.
We went for lunch. We did not know when we booked our lunch that the lunch menu was the very limited menu from The Churchill lounge. That may have swayed our decision to go elsewhere. Our server Tristan was very good, whoever the hostess was not overly hospitable. Great cocktails and wine. Grilled vegetable salad was very good. The charcuterie board was just OK. It seemed to lack authenticity.. I dont think it was house made.
I lived tge experience food was OK but the atmosphere is great
Went for breakfast and the ambiance is lovely. Food was good, but a little pricey for what you get. The Nutella French toast is good, highly recommend. Overall good experience.
My fiancé and I love spending time in Niagara-on-the-lake. Weve been staying at the Prince of Wales the few last times and decided to visit the restaurant Noble inside the hotel for dinner. After eating there just once it made us want to come back and eat there every time we visit the area. Weve celebrated anniversaries, our engagement, and birthdays here. The food is always 5 star quality, and the service is incredible. The staff really goes above and beyond and the menu is always so tasty. In these photos we had cocktails, burrata on sourdough toast, duck egg carbonara with guanciale, and filet mignon with mushrooms. Their menu is always changing keeping an exciting array of different options! *They also have a great breakfast menu here as well, I highly recommend!
Dinner was fine. The Brittany cake was not a cake at all. It was shaped like a cookie and very dense to eat with no flavour. I did not like it. For breakfast the eggs benedict were over cooked with little to no hollandaise sauce serve on rye bread and spinach which was quite nontraditional and unappetizing.
Went for breakfast. Decadent choices. Relaxed service.
Festive holiday spirit , warm rustic atmosphere
Fantastic restaurant. Food was great staff was lovely. Recommend to all.
Nice ambiance. Limited menu, possibly due to covid, but the burgers were really good.
Terrible experience! Service was slow and steak we ordered was bland and overcooked. They even served us water in a cracked glass. When I wrote in to the restaurant to express my disappointment I was completely ignored. Food and experience not worth the cost! Take your business elsewhere.
We enjoyed both our dinner and breakfast at Noble restaurant while we were in NOTL and staying at the Prince of Wales. Both servers that we had were attentive and genuine. The food was amazing and presented well. Small selection, but understandable with COVID.
Called to make a reservation at the Noble for lunch, nobody told me that they are not operating for lunch. When I arrived, they told me that it is the restaurant but there is another restaurant in the restaurant for lunch with a totally different menu, pub style, I wouldn t choose another place if I knew before. Make sure you come for dinner. Also, they have tea room for tea time which looks pretty but you need to book in advance.
Undercooked potatoes in the tuna dinner. Expect more for a $40+ plate.
The experience at Noble was pretty much as expected when you go to such a restaurant, and nothing about it spoke out or jumped as extraordinary. For the price you pay and the service you receive, you expect more, even from a fancy French restaurant. We waited a few minutes to be seated, the the waiter was prompt and did his job. The quality of the food would be excellent for a restaurant where you paid maybe $30-$40 for a meal, but for $80 per person you just expect a little more overall. Its a good restaurant, but not amazing.
Amazing dinner. Wonderful service by Neil. All together a perfect experience.
It is an European Resturent with English Food only. We tried their soup which was good.
Went for breakfast and it was amazing. The service really stands out against the rest in the area. Looking forward to coming back for dinner.
Delicious! These were the best waffles I ve had in a looong time. My boyfriend had a regular two eggs breakfast and it was very good as well! Just a very nice place to start the day!
Very disappointed especially considering the price point. Wouldnt recommend unless you had no other option.
One of the best pancakes I ever had. The potatoes are delicious. Only thing it s a little expensive so if you taking the entire family split the bill lol we loved the food
Had a great vegan dinner here which they graciously adapted upon our request. Just give them a few days heads up. They made some of the best tofu we ever had. The restaurant and attached hotel are very nice. The staff were all very kind. Free bread and butter after we ordered.
Thank you so much to the chef for accommodating a last minute request, the food was spectacular
Good service but very disappointing Thanksgiving tasting menu for 75$. Would not come back and not recommend. Steak was thoroughly over cooked and tough. Dessert was ice cream on stemmed grapes.
Please do not come here. $75 for a very underwhelming tasting menu. Appetizer was mediocre, Meat was very tough borderline inedible, and for dessert we were served a generic fruit bowl with stems and a scoop of ice cream on top. There are far better restaurants for way less money. Go somewhere else! Server was pleasant
Took my partner here for a birthday dinner and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was very cozy, and quiet. The hotel was beautiful and the food was phenomenal! The price was a bit steep but definitely worth it.
Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing location. Loved everything about it. Server Valerie was Amazing. Highly recommended
We love coming here and we will continue to come to the Churchill Bar. However we ordered from the Noble menu - the braised pork belly was hard, chewy and inedible. My wife ordered the ravioli and that wasnt very good either and she didnt finish it . We sent the meat back but we were told this is usually how its supposed to be and skin is crispy not tough. Quite frankly that was annoying, we eat out at a lot of nice restaurants and we know how a pork belly is supposed to be, so we are definitely not the audience for that rebuttal! Instead of falling apart if wrestling to cut through it and swallow a pork belly its not done right. Anyways i was offered the steak, which was under seasoned but nicely done. We will be back here again and again but only for drinks and the board They do nice cocktails and lounge is super cozy .. but yea still scratching my head over the shocking standard of food from Noble. Thanks for trying to make it right ..at the end of the day there is a little the servers can do if the kitchen puts out food like that.
Had lunch there with my husband, food was good and portion sizes were very generous! Service was good as well and the complimentary dessert for our anniversary was very appreciated!
So fancy youll feel like a princess
It s a good restaurant in a good location, especially if you re staying at the hotel. Food was good, and the waiters very friendly. Prices are a bit outlandish however, even for a fine-dining restaurant.
This review is a reflection of my experience at the time. Perhaps I had an off mood day, perhaps the staff had an off day. Regardless, Im giving 3 stars for my first time there. I found the price a little steep for the overall experience. The food was delicious, the kitchen did a great job! The front staff were a bit rushed which may have come across more as rude to me, at the time. During the meal, I found that consideration for allergies or dietary restrictions were a little lacking as this establishment prides itself on accommodation and service. Overall, if you are a person who does not have dietary requirements, Id say youd like this place. Perhaps it was just an off day for me.
Wonderful staff, awesome food, and cannot wait to visit you again when this pandemic is over!
We had a great lunch on the patio. Despite the pandemic, the service was friendly and efficient. Very few people in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The food was excellent. Loved the Fogo Island shrimp. Ball s Falls IPA was very tasty.
I was excited to have breakfast at the reputable Prince of Whales restaurant. After spending 2 days in naigara-on-the-lake I didnt want to leave without stopping here. Got there, sat down for while for a while when one of the staff realized no one had taken our order. They located our waiter who then took our order. We had the basic breakfast, Toast, two eggs, bacon and some fruits. I understand that most restaurants are going through a lot of changes and things are a bit tough for businesses with covid, however, the toast was cold and soft and not buttered, the bacon was all together in a bunch and very overcooked, almost like it was prepared for a Caesar salad. I asked for freshlh prepared bacon and instead they brought back a plate the old cooked bacon that they admitted was made at 7am, which tasted the horrible. The manager whispered something about speaking to the chef and making us happy. The server asked if we wanted another bacon, the second time around, by this time, I had already finished by breakfast. No discount or apology was offered. We paid full price for a really bad breakfast and pretty much no bacon. My partner had the frittata which was basically an egg white omellette with tomatoes. On her breakfast she chewed some egg shells. We are not complainers so we moved on. Feedback was asked from guests sitting behind our table and since we werent asked, I thought Id provide feedback on this forum. I dont know what their dinners are like, but breakfast... Not so much. Hope it gets better. Great location otherwise.
FANTASTIC!!!! Food spectacular. Portion size above what you would expect. You must try. Love this restaurant. Service AWESOME
Phenomenal food and service 10 star rating if I could!!
We had an lovely supper on the patio. The staff were polite and attentive. The seafood chowder was delicious and the eggplant ragout was perfect. They have several local, craft beers available.
Beautiful, beautiful place. Good service and the food was delicious.
Ive been here couple times for dinner and high tea, all my experiences were very good. Its a quiet upscale restaurant that I would say is close to fine dining, but without all the drama and dress codes. Food has always been exceptional and priced pretty good compared to GTA places. Definitely must try if youre in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area! During COVID it is a $50 fixed menu, picture attached. I give them 9/10!
Had a nice dinner with my husband on the patio! Service was actually amazing. I forget his name.... but he was kind and helpful but also not too overbearing! Food was really delicious! Good flavours but honestly nothing crazy special. We did the $50 per person 3 course dinner and we were definitely full and satisfied at the end. Presentation was impressive however! Overall nice experience with the service definitely standing out over the actual food itself
Went for dinner at Noble for my friend s bday. Wayne was our server. WOW! What an awesome experience. Food was good; service was great! A memorable bday for my friend!
Food is amazing and the wait staff are lovely. Gorgeous setting
The service here was so terrible that I walked out without eating. Ive never walked out of a restaurant before, idk how a place can function with such bad service.
Went to lunch and was very disappointed overall. The food was average at best and staff were rushing us out. We had our whole meal and bill within 35 min.... Brought the bill as we were finishing our burgers. Would not recommend going unless you wanted a decent cocktail.
Wonderful restaurant! The chef masterfully blends flavours and the service is top notch.
A little stuffy and old school but the meal was excellent.
After having an unfortunate situation, where things didnt go as they should have. Reception and management went out of their way to make things right. Mary at reception was an angel... an amazon person who cares. George, the floor manager tallied to us and invited us to return. Which we did as we wanted to give this amazing place the benefit of the doubt. Wow!!! they are superstars when it comes to customer service and looking after things. We had an amazing lunch with my husband for our anniversary... Service was ourstanding. Mary looked after every detail including flowers and a card. Everyone was on point from the floor manager on staff to our server Lulu. Our meal includign dessert was extraordinary. Overall a memorable experience. Id like to thank Kelly Exelby the G. M. for the professionalism and running a tight house. Sincerely, iela
I went here in late November 2020 and the food was excellent. Our server - Gabriella, was both attentive, professional and was very knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended us the toasted bagel with salmon and it was amazing. Will definitely be returning for our next family occasion.
Great food, certainly great atmosphere and services. The restaurant is located inside the Prince of Wales hotel which is itself historic and vintage.
All compliments. Food is amazing and service is excellent.
Beautiful atmosphere and food
Nice restaurant!
Excellent service, Food was outstanding. Our waiter Graham delivered on every detail perfectly.
Had dinner here as part of our winter package, which was included when staying at the hotel - it was great! The three course dinner had generous portion sizes and the food was delicious! The decor of the restaurant was also quite nice - white table cloth and had an up scale feeling (as youd expect). Depending on where you sit, you may end up with a nice view of the street. Wait staff was also very pleasant and quick. I recommend coming here if you want to celebrate a special occasion!
Enjoyed dinner here as part of the Winterfest menu. Food was really good and the portions were perfect. Our server was informative and kind and service was quick. Wouldve given 5 stars but the pork entree didnt have enough vegetables (the side of bacon brussel sprouts was just a pile of bacon), wish the bread was served warm and found the chairs to be uncomfortable.
We stayed at the hotel to celebrate my birthday and my husband made the reservation for my birthday dinner. The food was mediocre (way too salty), the plating was poor, and the service was a disapppintment. The server forgot the whole birthday part of the dinner - no candle, no happy birthday, nothing. The experience did not match the price we paid for the hotel and dinner, which was over 250 just for the dinner. I would not go back.
Appetizers were very good - nice flavour combinations. Main course very good. Wine selections by the glass were puzzling as there were no local pinot noirs for a pinot noir region. Waiter was excellent.
Absolutely delicious! So many flavors! Loved it
Amazing service and world class food. Special thanks to Valerie for making our night
My fiancée and I dined here to celebrate our engagement. While the food was delicious and our waitress very friendly, it took a very long time to receive everything. A special plate of dessert and congratulations from the chef was appreciated.
Wonderful food...attentive staff...highly recommend
Great food and service. Grace our server was Fantastic. Try the coconut mousse its out of this world.
Great food and fantastic service. Wonderful ambience.
We had an excellent meal here in the small dining room at the front. A little bit hectic and noisy but great service.
Expensive. Took an hour to get our entree. We had made a reservation for our anniversary dressed to the nines. We were sat two rows back from front sidewalk window while people in shorts were given front row seats...and apparently had no reservation. Food was good when it came to us.
Restaurant very clean and food was good. Service good.
Good
Excellent breakfast!!!!
Really good food, amazing service! Cant wait to go back
The best food Ive ever had, top knotch service !
Very posh
Food is amazing, great ambiance and the server was very knowledgable when recommending wine pairings.
The food is delicious and the staff are lovely. I wish I could go again
Party of 4 was there for dinner. Lovely atmosphere and good food and service. Only complaint (which isnt really a complaint but hope will assist the restaurant in solving this issue) way that didnt like that the server to reach over the guest to serve and clear. My husband didnt like the fact that arms were reaching over his plate. Other wise we had a lovely night out
The atmosphere of this place was nice, but the service and the food was 10/10 horrible. I would not recommend anyone to go here unless you want to be ripped off, dissatisfied with the quality of the food and dismissed by management. I took my parents here for a Saturday lunch during the Fabulicious event and everything seemed great. The server brought us the menu, seated us in a beautiful spot by the window and took our order. Since we were there for Fabulicious, we ordered from the Fabulicious menu and thats when the first unpleasant surprise came. The price on the pre-set menu was advertised as 3 course meal for $25, but once we read the fine print, it stated that dessert could only be ordered for an additional price. We ordered our meal (a starter soup of the day and potato pancake entree for $25 x 3 people and a dessert of chocolate mousse with liquor soaked orange slices for $13 x 1 person) for a total of around $113 with taxes. Once the food arrived the presentation was underwhelming. The soup was small and plain, tasting exactly like a basic chicken and potato soup made at home, the entree potato pancake had delicious toppings but the pancake itself was soggy not crispy, and the dessert was perhaps the worst - the mousse was extremely thick, not at all light and airy, and the liquor soaked orange slices were straight up mini tangerines from the can. The description of the dessert and the dessert itself were nowhere near the same thing - dont be fooled by the flowery language on the menu, it does not live up to its claims. Of course, the atmosphere was still nice, and we were enjoying the time spent together but even that was ruined by what happened next. The server brought us the bill and my dad went to pay having briefly looked it over however, something to note is that my dad wears glasses and in this case he didnt have them with him. Once he paid, we asked how much and he told us we were charged a whopping $160 plus we left a tip of $20 so a total of $180. Naturally my mom and I were surprised and we took another look at the bill. As it turns out, instead of charging us the Fabulicious price of $25 for the starter and soup, the server charger us full price for everything and didnt say a word. When we approached him and asked him to fix our bill, he told us he didnt know what Fabulicious was and that he would ask his manager. The manager arrived telling us he would refund us the extra $40 we were charged. We were waiting for 30 minutes while the manager and server stood trying to get the refund to work and finally as a result my patience ran thin and I asked that we get the managers contact info and that they resolve this issue on their own time instead of wasting ours by directly refunding to mastercard. The manager apologized and promised to refund the $40 AND the dessert charge to compensate for our awful experience. The server, Andrew, didnt say a word and didnt even offer to return the tip out of courtesy, opting to stand quietly away and pretend nothing had happened. We left with an unpleasant feeling. The manager then called a few hours later telling us he had issued the refund for the extra charges and dessert but once we checked mastercard, we saw that no refund for the dessert was issued, only the extra $40. So this experience has brought me here now. Usually I dont write reviews and usually Niagara on the Lake restaurants are amazing, especially ones as high up on the price list as Noble, but this was absolutely no way to treat a family who came out looking for a nice lunch for Fabulicious and left feeling like the villain for asking to be charged the proper amount on their bill.
