Blackjacks Roadhouse in Nisku

I was at a corporate party, I liked everything. Very friendly staff.

It is a fun venue

Food was ok not the worst not the best either. We were staying there in our rv when we were moved to stall 1 from 26 I parked my rv off Center of the next stall and had a small utility trailer plus my pick up truck. When your supposed to have the length of a tractor trailer for parking and your shoved down to the corner where there wasn t enough room to park in a straight line because of picnic tables piled down there I had my small trailer beside my camper in a kinda breeze way not being used. Management seemed to take it soon them to bombard my wife about it and not once said anything to me about the issue. Kinda cowardly if you ask me. If I could have parked everything single file like the first stall I was in I would have but alas I couldn t. Then after being there couple weeks paying for a few nights here and there at a time we were accused of not paying for a few nights and we kept all receipts to prove which we did. Then we were told if we were staying longer we could no longer pay for shorter duration times we had to pay for the whole month. Like wow that s hospitality at its finest. My wife found Clarence the owner to be arrogant and very smug about himself and I find him to be cowardly due to he wouldn t approach me any time and he s seen me there. So my take I ll never return to blackjacks due to the dishonest and the way my wife was treated and spoke to I would pay triple elsewhere even if I was offered free stay at blackjacks. We left there feeling like we were second rate people never again

I went here for a business lunch about 6 weeks ago and have been back twice more with my wife and son for lunch. The atmosphere is excellent. Service is top notch. The food is excellent. It reminds me of roadhouse/ truckstops that I have been to in the past. Love the nostalgia!

First time here big place with ample seating,a mix of young and old here,clean on the inside service was promptly and friendly ,food was quick and and tasty pop refills were asked and smiles all around with lit conversations from the staff made you feel at home!

Really cool pit stop. Kennedy and Sierra were amazing servers.

Dirty, menu has shrunk.not what it once was, go somewhere else.

Good food, good service, fair price

Food is great, large portions, and always cooked right. Served is good, courteous, and on the ball. Showers are great for truckers or anyone who needs it. Cleaned after every use, towels are provided, and a toilet in each stall as well. Have to pay for parking and the showers, but your truck or rv is safe, and it s a fair price considering it s a huge parking lot, and high quality showers.

Overall, it was a great experience. Food portions were above average . Id say cleanliness is at a 3. The signs that were up high kept you looking away from the floor or the tables. But staff were friendly and the food was good.

Super cool vibe. A mix of vintage and new age. The service was great, and the portions were large for a reasonable price. There seems to be a lot of car and bike events that take place at this establishment. Ill be sure to make my way back.

When you see a lot of big trucks parked at a truck stop, its either because the food is great, or more often, just because they fit. In this case, its both. Great breakfasts and great service. Parking: Massive parking area for highway trucks, and biker friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and flat area. Lots of tables where you can move a chair.

Awesome place, cant say enough good things about it. Always look forward to going there.

All around great place for a stop after a long day on the road. Huge portions, good drinks! The service was quick and friendly. Showers were very spacious and clean The security guard for the parking was very friendly as well. 10/10 recommend this place to any trucker or anyone needing a place to park, eat and shower for the night!

Stopped in on our way home from Edmonton. Was a great experience. The food was great. The service was awesome! Will absolutely stop in again on our next road trip.

Food is decent , price is ok , beer is cold , limited draft though , lots of slots sometimes Im lucky sometimes Im not ... Atmosphere most excellent ... Stuff are awesome ... Parking: Free parking for 4 wheelers and motorcycles big trucks free if just staying for a couple hrs overnight starts at $10 until your oversize then it goes up..

Good food, great atmosphere. Many interesting events. The outside band / stage is awesome. I recommend wandering around and checking out the memorabilia.

If I could rate this place 1/2 star I would started with a hair wrapped around the straw on the chocolate milk then brought meals out for 4 people at a table of 6 then 25 mins later they brought out my daughters and mine which was the wrong order left pissed off would never give that place a cent of my money again not to mention the place is a mess not sanitary at all

Very huge helpings of any choice on the menu. Quality cooking My last order here was Veal Cutlets with steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes with gravy.

Manon was a wonderful server. Also helped me this morning with an issue with someone blowing dirt all over my brand new truck. She escalated the situation and brought it to Clarence s attention, who I was told is the owner. He handled the situation appropriately. I wasn t happy when you spend a lot of money at this location then there s someone blowing dirt all over your truck who refused to blow it off and had one of the worst attitudes I ve ever came across. Shame she wore an east coast lifestyle hoodie, because that is never how an east coaster acts. Wish I knew the company they were with so I could make sure she learned to treat people with respect. Thank you for making her blow the truck off and as well for the great service. Handled very professionally. Will return for sure. Parking: Tons of room to park a truck in here. Sure it costs money, but there s never lack of an kind of room

This has become our go to restaurant. Weve yet to have fail. The portions are substantial, you leave feeling full. Service has been excellent everytime. We recommend it often.

We have come here a few times and every time the dishes our food were served on were dirty, my glass had another persons lipstick marks on them and the plates we received had grease all over it and was covered in a grainy texture. The food was not good either I got the chicken balls and they tasted like absolutely nothing other than sauce and the sauce was tar like super thick and sticky. We didn t get forks and knives and had to ask for them after our food got there. The menu was very small there was very limited options. I don t recommend eating there.

Was here for a fundraiser and as always it never fails to deliver. Good live bands, unbelievably good service and a good time. The food is typical bar food but it is very good. All in all a great place to go

It s a fun truckstop place with music and car shows on occasion, friendly servers, great pub food, and a neat place. Always a favourite stop Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Dill pickle wings are phenomenal

A neat road stop with what I thought would be good food as lots of truckers and bikers were parked out front. The service was slow and non existent once the food was delivered. We had to find someone to ask for a refill of our drinks, and they were needed to wash down the food. The soup was lukewarm and did not taste good, dill pickle soup, skip it in my opinion. The beef dip was more like 3 thick slabs of dry roast beef and a soggy bun. I was not able to eat most of it as it was too chewy and dry. If I had been able to find a waitress I would have returned it but chose to just pay the bill and leave. Skip this place if you are in Leduc, there are lots of other diners to choose from. Wish it had been better as I really wanted to like it. The decore of oilfield pictures and hard hats was interesting to look at at least. Parking: Lots of parking

Great place for lunch

Great place to meet up with friends. Tuesday is bike night a place to show and be seen. Parking: On bike night and Classic Car night, there is cordoned off parking for the bikes and cars.

Bad service. The bartender didnt care that I was sitting there waiting on her. When I said I didnt want food she said thank god. Didnt ask if I wanted another drink. She was more concerned with refilling fridges and doing her cash out. If you are in the area its ok. I wouldnt recommend going out of your way to get bad service and pay 25 bucks for a sandwich.

My wife took me here for wing night tonight, the atmosphere is pleasant, very roadside grill feel, its spacious inside with some minor things that may need fixing up. The food though, was pretty good, we had the dill pickle wings and smash burger, cooked well and tasted great. The service here is the stand-out, our server Michelle was new but very friendly, fun to talk to and was on top everything, refills, extra plate, etc. Highly recommend this place, I even bought a bottle of their home sauce they use on their wings, fun!

Went in this morning for breakfast and it was excellent, probably the best breakfast I ve had at a restaurant in a very long time. The portions were big, very good value for your money. I ll only go here from now on, I highly recommend going here you won t be disappointed, it was excellent. Friendly atmosphere. Great job to the staff the food was very good.

Great time, too bad oilers lost

This place blew us away. It was a quick stop for lunch before our flight ended up being a favourite! When we first saw the menu we thought the prices were a touch high... especially for the appetizers, however; once we received our food we realized the prices we very good. All five of us enjoyed our meals very much!

Great food great service. Although, they took away the Hangover Burger that was my favorite. Id be lying if I said i wasnt disappointed but still love this place. On to new, bigger better burgers. The new menu is great too lol. I just loved my big ol Hangover Burger.

Food was hot and fresh, large portions, and great service. We went for breakfast/lunch, it was busy but we still had an attentive waitress, very friendly and smiling. I was impressed with the food, sure beats a few of the other places weve been to lately.

Great food, very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and no rip-off. Nice place to hang out. Bike night on Tuesdays, don t bother to go there if you don t own an Indian or Harley, It s all about this bikes, nobody is even talking to you if you don t have one of this heavy iron on wheels.

Made with real egg batter it was light and fluffy and crispy absolutely delicious! ive eaten here before and always happy. do not confuse this place with the waay more expense competition called lumber jacks BLACK JACKS is the real deal. Its a great place but prices are getting a little high I believe for breakfast.

First time here I ordered the jacks burger and for $21.95 it sucked ! Cold when I got it the bun was the only thing that was good . My fries yep cold too , although they tasted ok not impressed

Sunday Classic Car Meet & Greet! Its always great to be at Blackjacks! It was great to see the many vehicles and talk to the owners.... and have a bite to eat. Its all good!

Tuesday bike nights are always fun- hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts and lots of customized bikes to look at. They often have live music and entertainment.

Great old school tavern/restaurant! Were in the 70s. Many semi trailer parking. Cheap:10$ per night. 10 minutes from downtown Edmonton.

I was skeptical on it being my first time and all... I was shy. Nervous. Sweaty... though that could have been the trucks lack of a/c Having been here now, the 10 bucks to pay for 24 hours of parking and the 10 bucks for a shower were more than worth it!! Tons of space, and no searching or fighting for some tight spot. The showers as well as the towels they come with were great. The resteraunt food was good quality. Great service. And amazing size portions. WELL WORTH IT! and the commies chairs of any regular restaurant. Bathrooms were super clean and spacious. The coin laundry is older but works great. No electronic b.s. breaking down on you. Ill take paying money to stay here, over free anywhere else ANY DAY!!!

We waited for 20 min before anyone came to tak our order, thats pretty bad when a server walked passed us every 10 seconds. I had a pound of wings and a iced tea and my bill was over $30! Expensive food and terrible service, they lost 5 custamers that day Food : 3/5
