Al Smith's Pizzeria in Norfolk

Haven't had the buffalo chicken sub in years and it's still the same as when I was a kid. Great food and quick service!

Customer service and food was awesome and tasted fantastic. First time and when I'm in the area I will be back. I mentioned what vehicle I drove and they told me where I could park to pick up my food. When I am back in the area I will be back.

Love the food, but HATE their hours! For example, today is a Thursday and they don’t open until 4pm. Most people would order lunch…not just dinner. And why are they closed on mondays? Why not just close on Sunday’s, like most businesses ran by religious people? They’re friendly and always polite…but man….the schedule doesn’t make ANY sense, especially being that it’s summer & kids are home all day. It’s too hot to make my own pizza, so I rely on places like this to help out…yet my favorite place is closed 😤. Makes me sad.

Al smiths is a very poor business when you are only open four hours a day and five times i have called to order food a half hour before closing and the workers tell customer that they are shut down because of lack of orders and maybe you should call sooner. Hate to think that when are only open 4 to 8 and the workers tell customers no! I dont know how a business can afford to stay open at all running that kind if customer service! I wish wilsons had never closed cause they were so much better ran and managed as well as there food on a bad might was so much better than I have ever had from al smiths. It used to be good as you could get but its as poor as i i ha ever seen in the last year and the food ive gotnhas sucked everytime

Very kind staff and delicious pizza. The broccoli tomato is my absolute favorite. Check out their chalkboard wall too! I don't know who does the art, but it's always changing and always puts a smile on my face.

Listen, I've been eating pizza rolls here since my family opened this shop back in what, 2000 or 2001? I'm definitely biased, but I love the pizza, the pizza rolls, the wings, and Al Smith's breakfast sausage on a breakfast pizza?! OMG. Oh, and I guess I love the staff, too hahaha no really I love them, they're good people.

This place is a local staple, great pizza... The buffalo chicken wing pizza is my favorite. All and all, worth every penny. Edit: I’ve visited there since my first review , and I’ll leave the first one up for honesty sake and you can decide for yourself. On my next visit I was grossly misquoted a time for my pizza and ended up waiting inside the store for almost a half hour. I paid when I arrived and when the pizza was finally ready, I was asked if I paid and not believed by the staff that I did. I was very displeased with my service and the atmosphere inside of this establishment. To top it all off, the pizza i received after my considerable wait was a barely passable pizza. I am very disappointed and will seek other options in the future.

Pizza is good. They offer the usual appetizers, pizza, hot and cold subs, but on several occasions hot subs were delivered cold. A personal calzone arrived burnt. Other than that, Not a bad place for a quick meal. Delivery arrives around the time given.
