Service very slow. Only a handful of people and still waited 14 minutes for our drinks. Best food around North Battleford though.

Great service

Food is always great, service is hit or miss depending on how busy they are. The restaurant looks nice, its too bad the hallway and entrance always reek of smoke.

The chips and dip were the only thing I had enjoyed. I had the fish and chips meal. The fries were cold when served. The batter on the fish was doughy. Ordered the bison Bannock burger. Disappointed my bison burger didnt come with Bannock.

Great food but kinda expensive but good service

Our food was very tasty. Pasta was a little bland but everything else was excellent. Service was very prompt and polite. Prices are great!

This is my favorite place to eat in the Battlefords!! The Steak sandwich, all day breakfast, the cutlet and fish and chips are amazing,,,,and if you use a players card (which is free) You get a few percentage off the meal cost, its great!! I had a cesar cockltail last time and it was delicious!!

Food was good, young waitress named Mackenzie was so kind to my son, partner and I, always checking on us and made amazing juice. I highly recommend her service and tip good.

I had the tomahawk pork chop and was grilled to perfection, mashed potatoes were excellent, veggies were al dente. My husband had the steak and was absolutely amazing, also grilled to a perfect medium rare. Absolutely a 5 star dining , I highly recommend the fish and chips as well. One of their best sellers.

Food is always top notch, I always look out for my favorite server. Her name is Melena, shes very polite and goes above and beyond for all her customers.

We had booked a valentines supper, very limited menu... waited an hour for our food, ended up with no mashed potatoes, fried or rice as an option. Waitress was kind, not get fault not super disappointing for a place we usually have exceptional service .

Apparently, every Friday is fish n chips at this restaurant, & the portions are huge and very well prepared and delicious. I would recommend for sure. Price was 35 for 2 people with coffee n pop and the service was great and a very clean restaurant. I will be back for sure.

Bison burger on bannock is a must try!

I like this place but the blonde supervisor very stingy with money and the chicken strips. Why not let the chef taste the chicken that was bad. Why would you make a new batch do you let your chicken strip sit there . Therfore become brown and chewy. I think the fact that the chicken fingers was not recouped but 25 percent was show case how the supervisor does not know what she is doing since it was un edible

I got the Coltrane Salad! It was very delicious!! Kihiw has good prices especially compared to todays standards, and do not lack on quality! Thank you for the great experience

My wife and I stopped for lunch on our way through the Battlefords. My wife ordered the Steak Sandwich with a tossed salad, the steak was cooked as ordered and seasoned nice. However the salad wasn t fresh and extremely wilted at the table and really had no flavour. I ordered the Bison Bannock Burger and added the Poutine. The burger tasted good, though the Bannock bread was very greasy(old or cool cooking oil) I have had much better elsewhere. The fries were also very greasy and tasted of old oil. When asked by our waiter how it tasted, I did pass on my thoughts, which were met with an air of indifference. Service was quick and pleasant with a relatively fast turnover.

Had a fantastic supper here other than getting stung by a bee walking in the doors to the restaurant it was great food and decent service.

We were staying at the adjacent hotel and came here for lunch. My wife had the Coltrane salad and I had the pork schnitzel. Both were excellent. Service was prompt and friendly.

Wouldnt know. Waited to be seated for almost ten minutes. Didnt see host or hostess or even servers. Turned around and left. They obviously dont try here

We had a 45th birthday supper for son. 14 seated. Waited 40 minutes for our drink order. When the food finally arrived it varied from cold to overcooked even to the point of inedible. Just a very memorably terrible meal. I cant imagine why its still even open for business??? My advice would be to eat anywhere else. If MacDonalds is open it would be a much better choice based on our experience!

Good food, don t bother ordering take out, paper cutlery. No bottled water or drinks but you can get one can of beer to go, they direct you to a vending machine in the hallway at $5/bottle of pop. Makes a ton of sense don t it? Wake up already management!

Everything was on point. Their clam chowder was creamy and delicious. They have one of the best steaks Ive had, perfectly done and the potato rolls tastes as good as they look. I ordered room delivery (to the hotel) and to my surprise, the presentation of the cheesecake was impressive, even though it was in a take out box. That was also very tasty. All the food came quickly. Would definitely order from them again

It was good, fish and chips were awesome. I normally dont eat fish and chips but these were tasty.

Server was lovely. Butter chicken was extremely bland but I was starving so whatever. Everyone else I was with was also very underwhelmed with the food (even being very hungry with low expectations). Maybe they do some items really well but probably wont ever go back to find out.

Food was fantastic and we were definitely surprised at both the price and the quality of it. Well worth going.

Excellent service, great portion sizes and a decent price. Delicious, quality food. They dont have a large menu, but theres something for everyone. I have been there twice now and wish I would have visited sooner! So far, between my husband and I, we have tried the spring rolls, coconut shrimp, pork schnitzel, bannock burger and steak. Highly recommend the spring rolls and bannock burger, but everything weve tried has been consistently good!

Thanks for a real hamburger! It s been a while. French fries tasted like they actually came from potatoes. My wife was also quite happy with the liver and onions. The vegetables were fresh. And the cost was very reasonable especially in today s supply chain issue environment. You won t be disappointed.

Servers dont know the specials, liquor menu types of beers and parts of the food serve luke warm

Overall expirence was 7.5/10. Initially took over 5 minutes to get seated in a nearly empty restaurant. I know it wasnt from the host checking on customers because once we were seated we never saw him again. He was pleasant and dressed well so he gets a 5/10. Our waitress was nice to talk to, funny and had a great smile but when a customer comes in on a hot day and says you cant possibly bring me enough ice water I would suggest checking on him every few minutes. A simple walk by but again once seated we didnt see our waitress again until our food was ready. Waitress gets a 6/10. Our food was amazing. Fish and chips for the missus and a burger for me. The burger was thick,well cook, tasted great and was priced right were Id expect it to be. Fish and chips again were priced right,big piece of fish, and was cooked perfectly. The side tartar sauce wasnt good and thats only reason the food foesnt get a 10. Food gets 9.5/10. The restaurant is nice and clean, music is played at a volume loud enough to hear and quiet enough to talk over without strain. Decoration are nice but the main symbol of the area, a gold eagle is partially hidden by a ceiling decoration. 1 negative was the dirty dishes at other tabkes not being cleaned quickly. There were 2 tables in our section that had dishes on them fir our entire meal. Again it wasnt busy. I counted 30 people in the place amd thry had 3 servers, the host and a bartender on staff. Restaurant gets an 8.5/10. Overall a pretty good night. A little more attention to the customer attention and faster response to cleaning tables would make this a regular stop on our visits to North Battleford.

Our server was fantastic, the food was exceptional however, the bathrooms left something to be desired. How awful, they were dirty and unflushed. I stopped to try to let staff know but I couldnt find anyone.

I have never had a meal at this resurant that I did not enjoy! Always a great experience, great food and good service! Tried to eat here tonight but the waiting line was to long! It shows how many people like to eat at this place. Well done!!

Amazing! I had the Bison Bannock burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. The facility is very nicely decorated and clean, and the staff were all very friendly. The food came quickly, and like I said, it was amazing. All at a very reasonable price.

unexpected delicious food, nice service. The food in a small town casino restaurant is surprisingly delicious. The fried fish and fried chicken are fried just right, the sauce is delicious, and the apples are unbeatable. The portions are sufficient and the price is not expensive. It is easy to go to the casino with a full stomach.

The atmosphere is astounding and the staff were amazing and soo friendly. We stopped in for a bite on the way through and I am a big burger junkie....Best Burgers I have ever eaten!!!! Siga Burger and Buffalo burger were to die for....and bannock bun was a nice change!!! Definitely will be back

Probably one of the best restaurants in North Battleford if you are not into fast food. Fast friendly service, very good food and bar if you are interested.

Food quality and taste is very poor. We chose this reataurant on my birthday and it really disappointed me with poor taste of food and service. They didnt also allow us to get cake from outside and the worst was ravioli. I would not recommend this place. Strongly disappointing !

One of my favourite places to dine out in The Battlefords! Its tough to choose what to order off the menu because everything is so tasty! The service is admirable and the atmosphere is always pleasant.

The Kihiw is often my first choice because it offers good portions of really good food at a good price. The service was excellent and I got a ton of refills for my tea/hot water which was wonderful. Plus my friend and I talked for a long time after the meal and no one made us feel like we needed to leave. A very pleasant experience.

Ordered for delivery for hotel next door. Was told a one hour wait. Which I said it was fine. Didnt show up at all. The employees attitude went south after I mentioned it was for staff. I even asked the employee if I should order elsewhere as he kept telling me how busy he was after I mentioned it was for hotel staff. As the hotel and restaurant are not affiliated. It was very disappointing to be treated subpar. Would not recommend this place.

Piss poor service and food preparation was pitiful. 90 minutes to get a breakfast steak done correctly. We gave this restaurant three chances and will recommend everyone stay away from this overpriced underwhelming dive.

Ive eaten at Kihew a number of times. The service is good. The decor and atmosphere is good, and the food is probably the best in town. Some people might find it a bit pricey, but its worth it for the food quality. The menu has a lot of different choices from a great all-day breakfast to a really great steak cooked the way you like it. They have good desserts as well. And the coffee is great. I definitely recommend it.
