I took my family for my son’s birthday dinner. Crystal was very accommodating and welcoming. We enjoyed the food, everything tastes very good. The price was reasonable. It was such an enjoyable family in this restaurant. We are definitely do it again.
My first time was a great overall experience. We celebrated my cousin's birthday there and we were welcome right away by Crystal who i think to be the best staff i ever encountered in NB. She's very kind, helpful and thoughtful, she's very professional and personable. All the food we ordered were delicious. Price-worthy dishes. Instagrammable dish and place as well. 5-star experience. Highly recommended!
IJust finished eating at “the flats” in North Battleford. The starter ceaser salad was very bland and bitter. We ordered the “surf and turf” and it was pretty awful. The steak was not seasoned, the potatoes were cold and had no taste, and the seafood portions were very bland as well with tiny little shrimp! My daughter would not eat her children’s pasta and her cookie was frozen, couldn’t take 10 seconds to warm it up! Defiantly won’t be going back, was wayyy better as “portabelas”
Great atmosphere and excellent service. Busy Saturday and still has consistent interaction with our waitress. Food was delicious. 4 star instead of 5 due to extremely salty gravy (cost extra) and "greek" fries (cost extra) with nothing on them besides a dill type seasoning. I had a 48oz steak cooked to perfection and SO juicy. The myoglobin filled the rim of the serving board and dripped onto my pants and soaked the floor leaving a big puddle. It was an awesome experience. Overall the meal was pricey but the quality, service & atmosphere made it worth it. Highly recommend visiting the North Battleford Flats!
Quite a broad menu selection, except for fish. I had the baby back ribs which were quite good. The Jack Daniels sauce was very sweet in my opinion and took away from what would have been great ribs. The garlic mashed potatoes were very salty. The southwest chicken bowl was very good.
Bradley was great as always! Always smiling, will make you laugh, and never lets your cup go empty. Love the soup and salad particularly the Greek salad. Tried two different soups and both were amazing. Favorite new lunch spot!
The Seafood Rosa dish was amazing! The server Crystal was very friendly and gave excellent advice on which menu items were tastiest!
Went for supper and ordered the Xtreme Bacon Burger, Seafood Rosa, and Southwest chicken bowl. Service by Crystal was relatively quick and smooth with good knowledge of the menu. Plates came with lots of food for the price and was delicious.
Everything was excellent! The lady that served us (Crystal) was more than excellent, she made me and my family night wonderful and our food was the best! Thanks to all Kid-friendliness: My grandson and grandniece enjoyed their food.
My family and I had a great experience in this restaurant! Phenomenal service by Crystal. And amazing food! Will be back for sure!
Everything was excellent. Even though it was busy, our meals came quickly. The food was tasty and well prepared. The only comment I would make is that the menu should have more (clearer) details about what is included with each meal. Some older diners are not used to alacart menus.
Stopped by while in North Battleford. Tried the beef dip. Everything was great. The bun was so soft, and au jus very flavorful.
North Battleford location November 1/2024 Poor service tasteless food I had ribs and steak and husband had baby back ribs. I found food kinda tasteless. Did not get asked if my husband wanted a 2nd cup of coffee and it took forever to even get the first cup. First off when I got my salad I asked for oil & vinegar for the dressing I was brought vinegar packets lol after I mentioned what I wanted again then was brought out the right thing. Waiter got both orders wrong but fixed it right away. I found waiter not friendly kinda rude. And for some reason he kept calling my husband hay buddy none stop. My husband found that uncomfortable and weird. When I went up to pay I did not give him a tip because I feel like he was not friendly and messed up order even though he did fix it. I did comment to him that we would not be returning. His response was excellent lol we left not saying anything else. Nether my husband or myself was rude at anytime. We just packed up what food we did not eat then went and paid. He did not ask us why or if he can fix it. In fact he did not care. In my opinion for a restaurant that has been only opened for a month not a good start. We will not be returning. When I go out for a nice dinner I expect friendly service and I did not feel that was my experience. We decided to try the new restaurant because it was our 35th anniversary.
Super service good food keep going
Went to porta Bella s a few times. Decided to give The Flats a try. Pretty busy when we arrived. Ordered 2 diet cokes got to rye and cokes, I haven t drank in 6years, good thing I looked at the glasses and made my boyfriend try his drink. Easy mistake server apologized that s not the problem. Ordered a 10oz Ribeye and the all you can eat ribs. Started with the Caesar salad, very bland, dressing was much better when it was porta Bella s. Food came rather fast. The steak was very thin and under whelming. Now the ribs were far from fall off the bone, very very dry and barely any meat, I ordered another quarter in the hopes they would be better- I was wrong got maybe two forkful of meat off of the refill. So disappointing. Spent over $120 there and stopped at McDonald s on the way home. Won t be going back, which is sad. Montana s out does this place with their steak and ribs- at least the ribs at Montana s do fall off the bone. And the steak is a healthy chunk of meat.
Excellent food, service, and crystal excellent server.
Crystal made our first experience at the Flats very enjoyable. Were happy to see the decor was the same. The menu is different but I found something I liked on Crystals recommendation.
Visiting the flats was an excellent treat. Crystal was absolutely wonderful and made us feel at home. Food was served hot and fresh and very tasty! Will come again for sure.
