At Marigold North Bay, the enchanting waterfront patio and cozy indoor ambiance set the stage for a tantalizing fusion of Indian, Thai, Chinese, and South Indian flavors. Offers catering services, Takeout, Delivery and Dine in available. Open for lunch and dinner
SO good- popped in on a rainy day with my family, and had a brilliantly cozy and delicious meal. There were loads of options, and every dish we ordered had perfectly balanced flavour, was piping hot, and clearly made with care. Our server was also brilliant- very accommodating and friendly! The chai was STUNNING
Looking around for a good Indian spot this is the place. Service was good and staff friendly. Food really good and authentic! I ordered the butter chicken, Manchurian Momos a must, basmati rice, chicken tikka, garlic naan, and a mango drink. Everything was so good! Would recommend.
Had a wonderful dine in experience. In celebration of Diwali they were offering a buffet which is available for the remainder of the week. Our hostess Simran took time to explain all of the offerings in the buffet which was super helpful as I am not super well versed in Indian cuisine. This place is a gem and it is obvious that they are passionate about their food. The food was incredibly diverse with a myriad of flavors and textures. Will recommend and go back!
The food was good. We had to wait 1.5 hrs for food. After inquiring about the food, it came out within minutes. It was a bit chilly in the room.
Food is not good. After reading lot of reviews we visit this restaurant. Ordered Chicken Manchurian, naan basket, masala dosa.mango milkshake, veggie kadai , chicken masala.pad Thai. Pad Thai was worst , they used all frozen items , dishes doesn’t feel taste and fresh. The girl who served the food was soo confused. She donot know what she is getting in the table. Service was not good. Waste of money. Never going back to this restaurant.
Just took the girls to this little Indian restaurant by the lake in North Bay—absolute gem! Best Indian food I’ve EVER had, and it wasn’t greasy at all. I think I love Indian food even more than Persian now! 😍🍛 #Foodie #IndianFood #NorthBay
I went to Mariegold for the first Time and the each and everything was perfect. I tried mysore masala dosa and the cocktails and it tastes very good all spieces were perfect and it was super dilicious. I highly recommend everyone to come here and try their food
We enjoyed a fabulous date night here. Service was initially a little slow but there was a sign warning of that. The service was polite and friendly and I appreciated how the menu had brief explanations for the dishes in English. Once we received the pakora we were swept off our feet by the flavour. We enjoyed a mango-yogurt drink that was exquisite and smooth. I ordered the tiki basket and it was excellent, a bit spicy for Canadian palletes, but perfect because I like spicy food. My date's dish was even more flavourful than mine with two types of vegetarian curries, raita, rice, Naan and a dessert. Every bite was perfect and we left quite full and were able to pack up leftovers. I would highly recommend Marigold's for the flavour, view, and value. We were told that the coconut Naan is the best but since we had Naan with our combos we will ha e to have that next time.
Amazing food. Very delicious.
Gift Certificate was purchased at the North Bay location but they would not let us redeem it. Said it was only for hunstville location. Not sure why you sell a gift certificate that cannot be redeemed at your location
Every thing was AMAZING AND WHEN I SAY AMAZING I MEAN IT the food was really well prepared and the only thing that is a little bad was the heat it was pretty cold but everything else was really good I really recommend especially the Nan bread Vegetarian options: There was a full section on the on the menu for vegetarians it was amazing we loved it so much
Restaurant is good like an Indian authentic restaurant and the staff was very good food was delicious and I also take out for my family.
I had a disappointing experience at Marie Gold. The manager, Simran, was incredibly rude and dismissive, making me feel unwelcome. To make matters worse, my food took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, it was lukewarm at best. The cleanliness of the shop also left much to be desired; it felt unkempt and not well-maintained. I wont be returning and wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
recently dined at Mariegold for the first time, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From start to finish, everything was impeccable. I tried the Mysore Masala Dosa along with some cocktails, and both were simply outstanding. The dosa was perfectly spiced, bursting with authentic flavors, and truly delicious. The cocktails complemented the meal beautifully, making the whole experience even better. A special shoutout to Simran at the cash counter she was truly amazing! Her warm hospitality and friendly demeanor added a personal touch to the visit. Her service alone is a reason to come back! I highly recommend Mariegold to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. You won t be disappointed!
Here s another engaging review: Dine In | Dinner | CA$20 30 Mariegold is a true gem! This was my first visit, and it certainly won t be my last. The moment I stepped in, I was welcomed with a warm ambiance that set the tone for a wonderful evening. I ordered the Mysore Masala Dosa, and it was an absolute treat crispy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with bold, authentic flavors. The cocktails were equally delightful, adding a refreshing touch to the meal. But what truly made the experience stand out was Simran at the cash counter. Her hospitality was second to none! She was courteous, attentive, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was just right. It s rare to find service this genuine.
I had such a good time there. The staff is really polite and environment is so good. Food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
I liked their food the most of all restaurants I ve ever been. The employees were nice and so was the atmosphere.
Brrrr.. Walked in and was greated kindly and was mentioned to take a seat. First thing, im guessing their heat is broken, it was pretty cold. We were given our menus then, about 15 minutes or so more, water was brought over and we made our order. Food took about another hour and half till it was severed. I watched about 5 delivery drivers come in and out with food before we even get a hint of our order being prep. Everything tasted great. We asked for Naan bread and that came out in 10 minutes not even. Cost was ok for portions.
Had buffet today, total waste of money. The food was not good.
Went today with friends to have a buffet. Spoiled my day. The food was not so great. Their heat was not working as well. It was chilly inside. We will not be back again.
Had a nice experience dining at marigold today ! We went for our lunch and they had a special buffet exclusively for Diwali with wide variety of dishes, chat and desserts ..worth of money and a must try for this diwali !!!
Disappointing Taste. Had buffet. Didnt feel fresh at all.
Buffet in marigold- starters till desert, they have everything. I will definitely recommend to with friends and family as it s 25.99 for adults which is really good as compared with food.
Overall good food and ambiance
In went today to marigold and its a great experience there. food was so good and i strongly recommend this to everyone to try once!
I oftenly visit marigold there taste of food is so good and there service is excellent, i totally recommend this to everyone.
I like the food of Mari gold this is one of my favorite place in north bay
Was very excited because of a buffet. Firstly, it was very chilly inside, with no heat. Food was cold too and not that tasty at all. Very bad experience.
We love Marigold. The food is always delicious and the portions are big. Service is quick and friendly. Quiet, clean restaurant on the lake with outdoor seating for summer if you want to dine in.
Very Disappointed with this resturant there is no taste in food i ordered first time from this resturant very bad experience
Lovely staff and beautiful ambiance. Mild food but the extra hot sauce brought out was quite nice
Manchuria chicken, yum!
Phenomenal Experience
Everything is very delicious and server is so polite and always smile when we order goods and makhani momos our favourite food
Very bad experience, service was awful. Had to wait 30 mins to get mango lassy. And food is not that great and never order Pad Thai noodles
The food was really good last time we visited. For today it was reallly realllly bad. The curry was very raw (the raw smell of tomatoes basically) Hara bhara kebabs served were may be frozen ones. The dosa was ok but the sambhar was not at all the one that is served with dosa. Bascially it tasted like lentils served with rice and it was cold, not even warm.
Always delicious and very attentive and friendly staff.
Wonderful experience! Veg pakora , veg sizzler, butter chicken and naan delicious , We recommend to all who want to enjoy food with lakeside patio nice weather good jobs guys Food : 5/5
I had veg thali combo last night, great portion size and dosa was reminding me of India guys must try. Dont see bad reviews this is gem in notthbay for Indians. Vegetarian options: Dal tadka jeera rice all time fav I got in north bay
Friendly atmosphere. Kindly offered water while I waited for my order as I was a little early. Food was delicious! Reminded me of the awesome fusion options in my hometown of Brampton.
I had a light meal here. Unfortunately it was raining, I would have really enjoyed dining on the patio. Staff were attentive and very helpful with the menu. I wish I had been hungrier, so I could have tried more items.
South Asian dishes are very tasty and the service was good!
We didn t want to go in, it looked so-so. And there weren t many people. But we took a chance and discovered a cool restaurant. Not expensive, the food is delicious and lives up to the name. The portions are large. The service is wonderful. We ate three different dishes and shared them among ourselves. Try it
We got a misplaced order the day before, and the lady complemented us with a replacement and more than that. I was happy
Peaceful outdoor patio; beautiful food presentation and flavour. Vegetarian options: Available and excellent Food : 5/5 |
Very beautiful terraces
Worst butter chicken ever in my life and in canada
Food was good and money is worth. I like whole thali except spring rolls as there was too much oil inside it. Love the place
Wonderful food and super helpful staff
Definitely delicious, very filling, generous portions. Absolutely coming back next time I m in North Bay. Dietary restrictions: Lactose Free options like Dahl are also available.
Great food, extensive menu, reasonably priced.
Staff is really good Kiran is knowledgeable and co operative Food
Nice experience with food and staff Kiran is so polite Food
Nice experience with food Staff was polite and respectful Food
Food was good and service was amazing.
Vegetarian options: Super delicious Paneer Dish Made by Amar and Simran must try once u will love it Food
Delicious food and great location with a patio and waterfront near by. It was my first time at this restaurant and I will definitely make a point of coming by again the next time I am in North Bay.
Service and food is Great keep up the good work
It was a wonderful experience we took dinner at patio.Service was really quick ,food was also nice,Pina colada is must try.The atmosphere and the view was adding beauty to evening. One of the best place to have Indian food.
Great food, service, atmosphere and price. Highly recommend.
Food. Is delicious with great service dal makhni taste like proper indian taste
Amazing Punjabi dish curry by The cook .very fresh and tasty .
Ordered the green Thai curry with coconut rice and garlic naan bread. I was soooo excited for this meal, as I am pregnant and been craving a good Thai dish. Unfortunately, the best part was the naan, but even then, it came wrapped in tin foil, which I ve never experienced when ordering online. The curry was very bland and the colour was off putting (highlighter green). I also definitely did not receive coconut rice. The rice tasted burnt and was overpowered with cilantro, no coconut flavour whatsoever. Very disappointing.
Great food sometimes slows service if its busy but worth the wait we get takeout often
Wonderful experience great food and beautiful view and scenery breathtaking. Patio is so beautiful and recommend to everyone
Wonderful experience and great food. Serving is too good Food
Wonderful and fantastic experience Food is very delicious and fresh .I highly recommended to all of you.
Simran was great at suggesting food items and has a really welcoming nature. She deserves a bonus ;) They took special orders for us 1 hour beyond the closing time. Means a lot to feed a bunch of really hungry people ;) the food was awesome. Must try jaipuri vegetable curry and paneer kadhai! Cheers!!
Terrible and rude service Didnt take very long to get the food Ended up getting pad Thai. If you want pad thai and Manshous is open, go there instead. Its infinitely better, cheaper, and larger portion- and includes 3 different meats, with generous amounts. This place you can only choose chicken or shrimp and there was barely any in it Anything that this place has, Manshous will be better Save yourself a trip Parking: Not much parking, luckily it was not busy at all
Food was fantastic!!!
I have been to marigold unique flavours few times.good Indian and Hakka Chinese food I highly recommend Food
Excellent service.Staff is very friendly Ke and my girlfriend tried Shiknaji and mango drink, it was soo soo refreshing and delicious Must try Also the dood was very very tasty
The ambiance of this restaurant is a ray of sunshine breaking the gloomy days of early spring. The food is flavourful and is well priced. Service is great, they do tend to run out of some things but the menu is extensive and has a LOT of great options to widen your horizons. I cannot wait to go back in the summer to enjoy the patio!
Best Indian food in town.we will come back soon
Unique restaurant. Fast delivery option and nice reception
love there food best Indian food on town. great staff
The food was really good . The mango mint drink is must try. The ambience is adorably good.
Trash don t go, if you wanna try good indian food. Go somewhere nice down south.
Gorgeous patio cant wait for it to open up again!
hip hip hooray What an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant! The tikka masala chicken and Saag chicken were absolutely delicious. The flavors were on point, and the portions were generous. The service was top-notch too, with attentive and friendly staff making us feel right at home. We couldnt have asked for a better dining experience. Highly recommend giving this place a try if youre craving some flavorful Indian cuisine! Also my girlfriend is the best
Vegetarian options: Lots of veg options. Friendly service, excellent food. Food

Amazing food! Great service! Very nice staff! They have a nice fresh juices and smoothies menu Absolutely returning as often as possible!
The food is amazing!!
Good food. Nice to see more variety of Indian restaurants in NorthBay. Prices per dish and especially for Naan are a bit high.
The garlic naan was fantastic. The samosas could have been a TINY bit more spicy but were otherwise perfect. Chicken curry was tender and delicious. My wife loved her Chana Masala. Cant wait to try more
Really good atmosphere. Arvind did a great job. Went with family for Lunch. Delicious food. Would highly recommend this place. Best Indian restaurant in North bay.
Amazing food and friendly service, I will 100% return.
Very very good service and food. Server was polite and the food was hot and very flavourful. Will 100% be back. Had the lamb and goat.
By far the best Indian food I have ever had....and the best Pad Thai!!!! True master chefs!
Spectacular, spectacular! Top drawer Indian food in North Bay literally on the shore of Lake Nipissing. You go for the food - it is the food that matters. This is the way.
Zero cleanliness, most of the dishes have same gravy. Very rude behavior.
Ordered fish curry and chicken curry from this restaurant and they both had the same gravy. If the curries weren t labelled separately, i would have a hard time finding which is which. I made the order over the phone and the person who took the order seems to not like taking orders at noon. Anyways, both the curries tasted very bad and would warn future customers to be mindful.
My wife wanted to come here for her birthday and so we went. This place is a gem, food was awesome and plenty and the staff was nice and friendly, helpful as well as I do not know much about the food. I would definitely go back and recommend this to anyone who likes the food or who is a food enthusiast. Food
Lunch here was a pleasure. Our friendly server was also the chef. The food was excellent with generous portions. This will be a regular lunch spot from now on.
Very tasty indian food with friendly staff! One of my favourite places to eat in North Bay!
Delicious fresh generous portions, as good even better than anything in Toronto
Ordered the paneer tikka masala and mango chicken curry with rice and naan, it was amazing! Portions were generous and absolutely delicious. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was cozy. I will definitely be going back and eventually try everything on their menu.
First time Food was excellent they make it how you like it. Service excellent and friendly. Cantvwait to go back. And they have a patio Wh8ch in summer should be excellent. A view of the lake. Watch the sunset. Vegetarian options: A whole page of menu vegetarian options
The food was incredible! Staff were very friendly, would highly recommend this place! Cant wait to try out the patio in the summer with the view of the lake! Vegetarian options: Veggie lunch combo was delish!
Food came out hot and fresh. Amar was really helpful and guided me through the menu. Even cooked that they don t at that time of the day. Will recommend. Must visit
We had amazing experience here amazing traditional indian food, spices were so accurate in every dish and amazing quick service. Must recommend everyone to try once atleast and visit this amazing quiet place.worth trying.
Best Indian food in North Bay
Authentic taste like home and very friendly environment
We get takeout often, and its never disappointing. Can be long wait times dining in
We went there for lunch. Ordered chicken tikka and kadhai chicken and garlic naan. Except naan, the tikka and kadhai chicken tasted very bad. The chicken tikka had too much artificial red color, and the chicken was dry, and was no where close to chicken tikka. One of the worse tikka I ever had. It was NOT fresh. The kadhai chicken had too much oil so much that there was more oil than curry or chicken. Also everytime we needed something we had to go to the counter and ask. So the service was equally bad but still they added 10 percent as service charge.we got a bill of 62 for the bad food and service. :(
I like it very much as its food and services are too good. I will suggest everyone must visit here.
Best restaurant in northbay we will come again Arvind thnku soo much for helping us celebrating my birthday
Nice service nice food. thanks Grisham for nice service
Grishma is amazing!!!
We had dinner here tonight as we are passing through town. It was superb. Everything was delicious and the owners are lovely. So so good.
( Garisma)took our order. She suggested us humpty dumpty and it was delicious. She is very charming while serving food. We loved food here specially karahi paneer and will come again
Grishamaji service was awesome and definitely recommend and food was great
Small serving size. Expensive for a smaller community. Service was below average. Food : 4/5
Food is ok but portions arent satisfying. Server told me chilli chicken is the same as Manchurian chicken. Service is not good. They did the bait and switch with prices on their menu at the time I went. I dont recommend.
My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch at Marigold. Service was very quick and attentive as there was only us and one other table of customers at the time. We loved everything we ordered (chicken vindaloo, lamb Rogan josh, veg parkoras and papdi chaat.) My only complaint is that I originally ordered chicken korma but was told this was being removed from the menu. Hopefully they will bring it back! :) Either way, we will definitely be returning. Thank you!
I had the Madras Chicken dish last night, with some garlic naan. It was so delicious, and the lady at the counter was so pleasant, this is my new Friday night treat!
Food is customized to Canadian spicy level low chilly and sweet
Sat on the patio looking at the lake. The service was outstanding. Had butter chicken and it was so good I am still thinking about it 2 days later. Also the prices were reasonable. I will be back.
How to explain it s so amazing and delicious food and best restaurant in the town all employee take care all customer and specially thanks to restaurant chef and owner his take care all customers I recommend all people visit this place enjoy the food
It s been after long time in North bay . I was really happy to find another 3rd indian restaurant here . I tried an appetizer with the virgin Mojito before ordering my dinner & it was super good . It was so fresh & perfect with the spice level . Then , main course was also delicious. Staff is specially appreciated for the service. Grismma was so nice & polite . She served very friendly & happily.
Food is awesome, lots of options India and thia fusion if you like spicy your taste buds will not be disappointed. Nana bread varieties liked the garlic naan best ever spectacular rice with lamb loved kadhai chicken not so spicy, the vandloo dishes very spicy. Keep trying new dishes every time we come. Samosa was fresh tasting !!! Vegetarian options: Tried an eggplant option very good
Amazing food and service!
The food is really great and the service here is cherry on the top
Grishmas service was really great. Shes really co-operative and very kind. Overall satisfying experience
Definitely try. One of best indian food I had in Northe Bay. Service is awsome and the staff is so friendly.
I was fully Satisfied with food and services. Every staff was so friendly and polite. I went there on my birthday .The food was so delicious too .
Best place to have a dine in with a stasty food..
Excellent India food
Authentic Indian dining place! 10/10 for food, management, and attitudes of staff! Very friendly atmosphere. We would definitely visit this place once when we visit North Bay. The staff arranged outdoor patio table for my family of 20 people and made sure the food arrived on time as well as tasted fantastic! We celebrated my graduation and my mom s birthday here, and Grishma (Manager) made sure we had everything we needed! Amar (Chef) came to see us and asked if food was up to our standard. It indeed was, and we appreciated the service very much! Well Done guys!
Absolutely the cutest patio in north Bay with great ambiance. We ordered the veg platter that should have come with a spring roll, samosa, etc., but we were served the spring rolls only. We decided not to address the issue primarily because communication with our server was at times difficult. She had a very pleasant demeanor, but took far too long to come get our orders, did not check if our food was okay, and we were the only 2 customers there at the time. Food was the saving grace. Absolutely delicious, balanced flavours and spice. Had the vegetable pad Thai and curry chicken.
We stopped here for supper on our way through town. Lamb curry was on point. Portions were generous. The terrasse has an amazing view. I would go back any day.
Please order from here if you are totally free and have nothing to do in life, service is extremely slow! To top it up these guys don t even answer their phone if you want to place an order for pick up, not even 1 customer in the restaurant and still they won t answer the call.
Good Restaurants near North Bay ! Good ambiance and service
I was very excited to find a restaurant here in north bay with such a large selection of vegetarian and vegan desi cuisine. The food was so flavourful; I had the matar paneer and it was delicious. We also got the veg appetizer platter. I liked the samosa and pakora a lot but the spring rolls were just okay. The servers were very friendly, attentive and prompt but there was a bit of miscommunication and we were missing part of our order. We weren t charged for it so didn t mind but I hope to get to try that item next time. The patio is beautiful and large with a nice view of the lake. I will definitely go back to try more of the menu and do recommend this place.
Have ordered via Doordash and never disappointed. The flavours are always incredible. Ordered the Veg Dinner Combo that came with two curries chosen by the chef, they were both very delicious. Cant recommend this place enough, loved their location in Pembroke and this one reflects the same quality and standard. Will be back!
Its great, its impeccable, from the service to the environment and the taste, we just love it!
Absolutely delicious!
So good. Incredible spicy food. Very romantic place
Sitting there for more than 10 mins no menu given, not minding the customer
It was very good and friendly, I would recommend it but it wasnt what I expected
Great service authentic food.
Delicious food. And beautifully quaint spot by the water. The service was great and they were really attentive. There was a wide menu to chose from and it offered something for everyone. Plus, they make a really great pina colada
Friendly but uneven service. The food is excellent! Beautiful calm atmosphere on the patio with a view of the lake.
Not Worth.Not again.
Worst service, reached around 8:40pm, but was told closing @9pm and only take out, yet allowed other customer in. Looks they are allowing only North Indian people very bad experience. They wanted to be in Canada only still allowing only NORTH INDIANS
The WORST so called Authentic Indian Restaurant in the city is this one! First off, Indian food cannot be this pricey even if you live in Canada. Expect nothing to be served before one hour because the place is typically short staffed all the time. There is a waitress by the name of Garisma or Karisma, and oh man.. she is so ill-mannered. She carries a fake smile all the time but is a complete idiot, doesn t know how to behave and talk. In the kitchen, she is the one who s always yelling and swearing. Both the quantity and quality of the food are horribly poor. Also, dont forget to double-check your receipt!!! They always charge you more and claim it was unintentional. The chair tables are never clean. I know that there arent many Indian restaurants, however Taza Doner is a great place to find delicious Indian food in the city, or go to Sukhdev in Sudbury.
First of all, They were not happy to see us(around 1pm). The waitress was rude and not so eager to help us. Comparatively prices are high. Portion size is a Joke. (7 Manchurian bolls for $16) Taste is not so bad but nothing extraordinary.
Masala fries was extremely salty. Chicken korma was very spicy and the meat tasted off. Popadoms was soft and stale, not crunchy. Overall disgusting! Food : 1/5 |
It was worst experience of my life. The service was very slow it took more than 45 minutes to bring order. No attention to the customers. I would suggest you to hire some staff members
The food is good but the customer service is the worst. 15 min to take order and and another 45 min to bring the food. When try to say something she ignored us and behave rudely. If you wanna come be prepare for at least 1 hour wait.
Lets start with good. Naan were good. One of the better ones we have had north of GTA. Paneer tikka Masala was bad: It had tangy tomato sauce taste (in a bad way), either they served us the wrong dish or really don t know what Paneer tikka is. Now the worst: Customer Service, restaurant was not terribly busy when we went. Maybe 50% full of their indoor dining capacity. They never gave us the menu, we waited 15 minutes and had to grab it from someone else. Another 10 mins we got water, no one came to get our order, my fiancée got up and ordered at the bar. Had to wait for about 60-80 minutes to get our food. Once the food is served, no follow ups.
Expect one hour delay in your order! We are not from around this area and this was the first time trying this restaurant. as soon as we walked in, it took the lady good 5 minutes to even look at us and get us seated. Then she didn t even give us the menus and we were sitting there for 15 mins. Since, there aren t many indian places here and the fact that we were starving, we decided to stay and we asked the people sitting next to us for the menu and they were really frustrated as well. Then, after another 15 mins, I walked up to the front and asked the lady why is there such a delay and why we weren t even given the menus. She asked me to place the order at the front (thank god, we borrowed the menus and knew what we wanted). After placing the order, it took them about 40 mins to bring the food. I must say their butter naan is really good but the paneer tikka was just all tomatoey/ tangy sauce (not so good). After that, we had to do a few rounds at the front to pay and to get containers for food. Their naan is the only good thing about this place and the customer service is so bad. I am really disappointed.
No words can accurately describe the epic meal my wife and I endured tonight. I want to start off by saying that every dish we ordered was beyond outstanding. The food that the cook(s) are serving is truly a deserving 10 + star rating. Each dish came with a rich blend of seasonings and unique flavors. Again the food was mindblowing outstanding. I ordered the samosa and Gobhi Garlic appatizers + the tandoori Tikki platter. My wife ordered the butter chicken with rice, and an order of Garlic Naan bread. The service was great. They were on par, friendly and the wait time for the food was minimal and it came out hot and fresh. The outside of the building has about 5 parking spots and then there is additional parking on the street. While walking in the building they have a billboard with there menu on it for convenience. The inside offers tons of seating inside and they have a beautiful outdoor patio which overlooks Nippising lake. While we were dining, we noticed several families arrive with kids. So super kid friendly. What I also noticed on the menu was (ask the server about heat ratings) they offer anything from super mild spice to Kahlis Revenge which apparently is extremely hot. Also side note if you ask for containers to go. They give you good quality plastic containers with working lids that seal! So if you have a pallet for Indian/Thai food. You will not be disappointed. Highly highly recommend!
Honestly. The food here was amazing. I almost cried while I was eating it was so good. 10/10 recommend to everyone looking for some good food
Awesome food and good service
Excellent Indian food place
Lovely restaurant with great food! Waitress was awesome! Go there! Vegetarian options: Lots and all delicious!
Food quality is too low .. looks like they sell 2 days old food
Great food
Stayed at the Sunset Inn so this place was super handy. Great service all around. Food was delicious. No complaints whatsoever
Try the vindaloo
Terrible service. Arrived at the restaurant at 7:30pm for dinner, and was told they were closing soon(they closed at 8:30), so we could only order takeout, and that it would be ready soon . After waiting 30mins we were told our food would be 5 mins more . Over half an hour later it still wasn t ready, and we watched as a few guys who seemed to know the server/hostess come in, make a huge order, and return to pick it up 25mins later. We sat in an empty restaurant for over an hour waiting for just two curries. At least 5 delivery men also picked up orders in the hour we waited, while we went ignored. They either prioritized other orders over ours, or simply forgot to enter or make our order. The woman did not even apologize for the delay. Would NEVER eat or order from here again. The food was ok, but the Thai curry was not Thai flavoured.
While Ive enjoyed their takeout numerous times due to its quality, my recent dine-in experience was disappointing. My beer arrived flat and less than full. Most concerning was when our waiter, in a glaring oversight, presented us with dirty plates from another table, still smeared with grease. Waiting 30 minutes without any check-in, and an additional 15 minutes for takeaway containers was a test of patience. I suggest ordering takeout from here, as their dine-in service seriously lacks attention to basic hygiene and promptness. Makes you wonder what goes unseen
The food is absolutely delicious, but the inside needs to be cleaned better - sticky floors and tables.
If you want to have Indian dishes then this is the place. The food was not spicy but tasty. They can add starters to the menu for non veg. Overall its a good place to visit for decent food.
Great service, Amar went the extra mile to provide great Service for my wife and I. Very much appreciated, we recommend Marigold North Bay for a Great Experience in dining, in ambiance, and Service. Food
Good Indian food and great view outside.
This is a nice little restaurant on the lake in North Bay. They have good food and service. There is a really nice patio outside by the lake. Unfortunately, when I was there it was raining so we never got to check it out. The jnside was very nice with nice bathrooms. I would definitely go again. This is a good restaurant for vegetarian options.
The restaurant is very good and food is also very delicious. It s good option for Indian food like smossa and spring rolls are very delicious. I ll definitely go again.
Best indian restaurant north bay
Very great food and chef Amar was very helpful for ordering food and it was absolutely delicious .
Ordered 2 chicken and a goat dish over the phone. When we arrived for pick up brother said it was all ready to go and even went through the bags and order. Got home and found 3 tofu orders no chicken or goat. Brother done played me!
A very authentic experience, nothing but positive vibes from our gang. GO TRY!

Excellent lunch and service; we wanted a hot meal mid afternoon and were really pleased with the food. A vegetarian lunch combo plus madras chicken and rice and samosas - the snow began falling outside and we felt chilly, so a pot of hot, freshly made chai tea did the trick. Attentive and friendly service and great tasting food, we ll be back often! Vegetarian options: Good veg options and really tasty combo platters
Authentic Indian cuisine really good food good service
Nice food
Don t recommend for dinner. Came for birthday dinner and it was 1hr wait to even get a drink. They didn t acknowledge me when I waited by the door. The Thai/Chinese selection is also very inauthentic and I do not recommend the pho. As well, very expensive for very little and the food was not warm when it arrived. Palak paneer and butter chicken were ok, but would be better if they were served warmer.
The food was amazing . I had the chicken vindalo and was not disappointed. Our server was very courteous We will be back Food : 5/5
Delicious food. Great friendly service. Will be back. Chai Tea was the perfect addition to our meal
The owner or some staff at the kitchen seemed very unwelcoming. Came to the bar and just started yelling at the server without caring about the guest.
The dining area was unkept. The cutlery in the dishes provided at the table were all dirty and covered in finger prints. We decided against dining here.
We had the Diwali special they were running - it was fabulous. The waiter was a huge help. The spice level was just right
The service was awesome the staff were super friendly and the food was great
Arwind did a great job
They tell you that you have to take everything in bundle you can not order seperate and their service is poor they tell different prices according to their wishes
Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, a wide variety menu, food was fantastic and a very comfortable environment. Will definitely be returning next time were in the city
Amazing restaurant great people and great food Arvind did a great job to make everything easy.
Enjoyed a delicious combo platter for lunch with a friend. Everything was delicious and service was great.
I enjoyed a delicious combo platter and chai tea for lunch. Service and atmosphere were great!
Excellent experience. Food was excellent and very nice atmosphere! Very friendly staff and helpful in chosing food. Vegetarian options: Excellent and tasty!
Got takeout from here last year and the food was excellent, so I thought I would dine in with a friend. First of all, it was sooo cold in there, we should have worn our jackets. Waited over 20 minutes for a server to come and take our order. We asked for tea to drink because we were frozen. They dont serve any tea--only Chai tea. One would think that an establishment that advertises Indian-Thai-Asian fusion would carry green tea... So we asked for decaf coffee--they dont serve coffee. My friend ordered Chardonnay, which was on the menu--no Chardonnay. I finally gave up and ordered water. Food arrived quickly. I had shrimp pad Thai. Very good. No one came to ask if everything was okay or if we wanted anything else. Waited 30 minutes for our bill. I did notice a lot of Skip the Dishes orders going out, so maybe they should focus on those exclusively. I recommend the take out option.
Awesome food just dont go expecting to eat quick. Go with friends its not fast food. Ubereats for fast delivery. Coconut nan bread my favorite but garlic is good too.
Have been to Marigold North Bay 4 times. Every time, the food has been great. (Portions not so big, but okay.) Every time, the service has been awkward and sort of unpleasant somehow. At first I figured it was because it was newly opened, cut them some slack. But its a well established business now. Recently 3 of us went for dinner. Dropped over $200. Again, food: Hilayo! Yum! Ohhh, the saag aloo. Ohhh, the coconut naan. Ohhh, the silky tikka sauce. Etc. Etc. Mahvelous. But. Service? Gehhhh. 2 distracted guys wearing old sweats, clearly not too keen on the whole hospitality thing. Shriveled dying plants on the windowsill. Cold grey lighting- the colourful fixtures couldnt hide the glare from the cheapo bulbs. No music. Weird silence occasionally broken by clanking sounds from the kitchen. We asked 2x for music, they finally put some on. K maybe Im an old bore, but Boyz2Men or whatever poppy shlock they cranked to 11 wasnt exactly Ambience of India. Like gee whiz, would it kill ya to put on an at least vaguely appropriate youtube playlist or something for background? The final rather hilarious eye roller was 1 guy ripping out a big box of some new appliance or something and constructing it behind our table, while the other guy swept and pulled dust bunnies off a broom. Even the best baingain bartha tastes ick if youre chewing on it while watching your server process floor scunge with bare hands. It wasnt even 8:30, and they closed at 9. I even asked to make sure, because I thought we might be inconveniencing them by staying past closing time. It sure seemed like they were anxious to give us the bums rush and shut er down. It doesnt matter how good the food is: Not going back. Dinner out is an expensive rare treat these days. Not asking to be treated like a queen. A bit of respect for the customer could go a long way.
