tried their buffet for two consecutive days , it ways really amazing loved their cheesy chicken pasta . , lots of options to try , and the staff was helping and i loved the atmosphere.

I ordered Palak Paneer yesterday, and it was extremely disappointing. It felt like the chef didn t know how to cook it at all. The water was separating from the curry, the onions were huge and thickly cut, and they were completely raw. I couldn t eat more than two bites.

I tried panner for first time here and literally get food poisoning i never visited after that yesterday my friend order butter chicken and dal makhani and also facing same problem so decided to put review online

The taste was delicious and food proportion was at standard. The ambience was perfect for a dinner date

Must try their paneee chilly and Karachi paneer with tandoori roti . Roti was really soft as comparison to another places to eat. Great service.

Ordered paneer tikka, chole bhature and amritsari kulcha. Paneer Tikka was rubbery, chole was sweet and sour and bhature were very thick . Kulcha was ok. Very disappointed experience.

The food was excellent, but the service was quite slow. The staff forgot some of our requests, such as cutlery, water, and glasses. It seemed like they were overworked and understaffed. When we arrived, the table wasn t properly set, so we had to take cutlery from a neighboring table. Many items at the buffet were almost empty, and we had to repeatedly ask for them to be refilled. Additionally, we could hear loud conversations from the kitchen staff, which was disruptive.

My wife and I recently moved to North Bay, and when searching for an Indian restaurant, we came across Sukhdev Restaurant. Our most beneficial choice was to try their buffet; everything, even the desserts, was delicious. will undoubtedly return.Must try their bhatura and allow jeera, lamb vindaloo, daal makhni paneer tikka.

3 of us went on a Sunday for lunch and got the buffet at our table, where they brought us a little bit of a lot of food! Everything was absolutely delicious and service was great too. We will definitely come back!

Food is good but service could be better! Definitely a great option for Indian food when visiting North Bay.

Went solo at lunch. The Kadahi Paneer was awesome - very rich, not too salty, perfectly balanced spiciness. I ordered spicy. I can tolerate the spiciest ghost pepper sauces, but heat that overwhelms flavor is pointless. This was truly spicy in that the flavors of warming spices were balanced by freshness of vegetables and creaminess of fresh cheese. The garlic naan was sublime - super thin and puffy, with a perfectly crispy bottom skin and chewy but melt-in-your-mouth top, generously buttered with lots of finely minced cilantro and not too much garlic (and I love garlic). Overall perfect recipes and perfect preparation. I cant wait to try more dishes! Vegetarian options: Any dish can be made vegetarian, and there are plenty of vegan options. Indian is one of the most plant-forward cuisines around.

Best food i ever had in canada , tried paneer tikka masala and dal makhani with onion garlic naans and amritsari kulcha was really good and service was top notch by the server, will be back again ,,, thanks

Had buffet that is on Fridays and Saturdays. Great selection that varies week to week. Lots of different unique and delicious flavours. Small steam tray sizes means food is always fresh. Chicken Beef and Lamb on line. Eat here.

The food was really good. And that staff were really friendly. Absolutely loved the restaurant. But I find if you re white or light skinned you will get a lot of stares from the other customers. I ordered takeout from here and was highly satisfied! The portions were pretty big for the price as well and they have a large variety of options and vegetarian dishes too, so that was awesome for myself! I highly recommend this place to anyone The garlic naan was also incredible!

My spouse and I went for dinner and had the buffet. So many great dishes to choose from. I especially liked that we were able to each pick things we liked best - he was impressed with the tikka chicken and really enjoyed the lamb masala. I tend to lean more towards dishes like Chana masala, raitas, pakoras and samosas but I also enjoyed the opportunity to sample some dishes I might not normally order. We both enjoyed the chilli chicken - it was spicy enough for him to enjoy but not so spicy that I couldn t eat it. And of course you can never go wrong with naan. I finished my meal with some of the desserts and would never pass up the opportunity to enjoy a masala chai. We will definitely be returning.

The restaurant was bright and welcoming. One server obviously had a bad day but the other was cheerful and more than made up for it. The food quality was excellent and more than plentiful. I had takeaway for at least one more meal. The keema naan was the largest I have ever seen. My wife is not really a spicy lover but the treat was mostly for me. All dishes could easily have fed two people. The chai tea was excellent, absolutely authentic. My menu options included chicken vindaloo (medium), aloo masala, pilau rice and keema naan followed by chai tea and I would recommend all of them. My partner had spring rolls and plain rice and we shared parts of mine that she could eat. The spring rolls were very good and the rice hot and fluffy. Postscript they had an all you can eat buffet which looked excellent and included vegetarian options but I was on a mission for my favourite Indian dishes. Parking: outside several spots but a short 30 second walk and there were over 30.

Go for the buffet. All the classics are there and all were delicious.

Needed a take-out order in a pinch and decided to try North Bays newest Indian restaurant. Very easy to order on-line with no need to go thru a delivery service, I elected pick-up. Service was really good. Had my order ready at the time specified which was fairly short notice. I tried the Chicken Curry, Alu Zeera (potatoes) and Onion Garlic Naan. I ordered spicy and it was, just right for most. I do like hot, but I have to think of my better half! Very flavorful. I do believe we will do a sit-down service next.

Recently i visited there and i ordered noodles and it was amazing. I loved it. Never had that taste before in Canada. I would highly recommend those who want to taste Indian cuisine.

Vegetarian options: Paneer tikka and onion garlic nan was best. As a vegetarian i faced difficulty in enjoying some decent veg food but here i was really happy as i got to eat the best food. Parking: I have a lot places where i faced problem in parking the car. But here I we had plenty of space for parking. Kid-friendliness: I went with my daughter and she was really happy to enjoy the food.

My new favourite Indian restaurant! My family went here for the first time last weekend and we ordered off the menu. We definitely over ordered because we were hungry, but we should have gone to their buffet! The food was excellent. We tried beef and chicken samosas which were flaky in a filo pastry, yum. The chicken pakoras were delicious and a big hit. The Ghobi (cauliflower) Manchurian was sweet and spicy, the Royal Butter Chicken was so good, and we topped it off with garlic naan and a salted yogurt lassi drink. Walking in was a bit weird because an upstairs business is doing renovations and theres a huge construction bin right in front of their doorway (Sept 2024) but dont be put off, they are open and serving the best Indian food!

The server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu; the food was excellent in quality and quantity, and the price was right.

The food was ok, the samosa s are made with Chinese wontons, not authentic, but Good flavour, they use potatoes in their butter chicken so you think you are getting more meat, expensive for what it was.

Food was subpar, quite dry. Service was really slow, drinks came extremely late. Server did not check up on us regarding food or drinks. Waited 20 minutes for the bill. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Edit: We initially had a good experience at this restaurant, but unfortunately, our recent visit for the buffet was very disappointing. The service was terrible. We had to go and ask for water, as the staff rarely checked on us, and they never returned to refill our drinks or clear away dirty plates. Despite standing around at the front, the staff didn t clean off the dirty tables in the dining area either. The buffet was supposed to start at 5 PM, but even when we arrived at 5:30 PM, it wasn t fully set up. The food was cold, and several items were missing the proper utensils to serve. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and the lack of attention from the staff only made it worse. We hope the staff receives better training in the future to improve both the service and overall dining experience. Original post: We had an amazing meal! The butter chicken was creamy and flavourful, the garlic naan was perfect and a generous portion, and the onion bhaji was crispy and delicious. The aloo gobi was good. No complaints on anything. If you have any allergies, dont go. Im currently writing this while in the hospital after an anaphylactic reaction. I went a month ago and like I always do, I ask about tree nuts and they said no. I then ate some curry and chicken and didnt feel good so I asked them to check again and she went back to the chef and said no nuts at all. I then went home, threw it all up, took some medicine and called it a day not thinking it was my allergy because they said no twice. We went back today for the buffet (with the same friend) and same thing. I stopped eating and took some Claritin. We asked if they could see if nuts were used and she said no but would check with the chef. She came back and said only this dish and this dish had cashews. We said I was deadly allergic and she said she could ask them to make it again with a different sauce and I declined. She mentioned that if we would have told her when we were seated she would have told us which dishes but my friend and I both were pretty sure she was the same one as last time. Ill admit it was my fault for not asking again this time and its not law for them to label the dishes or mention ingredients and my fault for not checking dishes beforehand. I will mention Ive been to many Indian restaurants in town (Amritsari Bites, Oak East Fusion) and no issues ever. I think it was a language barrier and not understanding the severity of the situation but I would appreciate better food labeling (I ate mango chicken and assumed no nuts) or better accountability. Aside from that, we were given 1 water each and took a random pitcher because the waitress only came back once. I cant comment on the food obviously but it wasnt an amazing experience and Im too scarred from this one to return again. I hope they learn from this and people with allergies are extra precautious. Garbage restaurant

My first experience with Suhdev was in Espanola when they opened. They made my favorite meat vindaloo, which was not on the menu, but the chef made it for me. Was happy to see they added one to North Bay and have been there a number of times. Always happy staff and food is excellent.

I tried Chana bhatura. Its too delicious. I got to taste authentic Indian taste in Canada after so many days.

Everything is perfect and really very good food specially chana kulcha. Highly Recommended

My sister and I walked in and were immediately greeted by our Hostess. She was very polite and assisted with our selections. The Ambiance was great, the food very well prepared and authentic. The portions were very filling, and the quality was tastefully amazing. Their will be a buffet style selection coming very soon ( August 30). I will definitely visit this place again. We have tried take out and buffet and loved both. Fresh and flavourful items on the buffet, and the curries are not too spicy. A great way to try different curries before ordering as single items. Will be back!

Food and service were excellent. I highly recommend Paneer Khurchan. Quick service, fresh food, no over the top masala. Tandoor roti was soft unlike other places. Ambience is pleasant too. Overall, perfect place to find authentic Indian cuisine in and around North Bay.

Really like the food. I have tried sukhdevs food in Espanola, Sudbury, and Timmins in the past. Today, tried in North bay. Great quality food. You can easily tell that everything that comes out of the kitchen is fresh and home made. Heading to Sault Ste. Marie, eager to try that location too.

I stumbled on this place when looking for somewhere to have lunch. I was very impressed and am excited to go back. I ordered the kadahl panner (cottage cheese, peppers, spices) with butter naan and mixed pickles. The waitress helped me decide on how spciy to have it. It was all delicious, very flavorful, and filling. I love Indian food, and have eaten it all over the place, and this is definitely top notch. The service was also friendly, speedy and professional. I highly recommend!

Must try their amritsari kulcha and garlic naan. Pretty good deal as its enough for one person and taste is just mouth watering. Just love this place tbh

I think you should work on chilly chicken. Its taste was like you have prepared pizza pasta sauce. Malai champ was not good at all. Paneer butter masala is amazing and garlic naan were very soft and well made. You should also work on dal makhani
