It is very cold in this restaurant. Even though it s only -10C outside. Id hate to see what it s like in true canadian winters. The server was nice.

Overall it wasnt what it used to be, it had become very fast food related and everything was quick but not in a good way. This used to be it go to restaurant but not anymore.

Absolutely horrible experience at this location, we called for a reservation and booked, they called us back to cancel it 20 mins later because they were busy but told us if we come right away they could accommodate us. So we drove across town, when we arrived we were then told that they re busy and we should have made a reservation. After speaking with the manager and explaining the situation she said oh we re busy, we are full. Rude staff. Worst east side Mario s I have ever been too.

One plate undercooked, 3 plates of pizza almost cold when we got it, jumbo shrimp were regular size shrimp. so loud and cramped you cant hear anyone talk. Server did a good job. Took 1hr 45 to get food.

Quinn was our server and we were happy to have her! Quinn works super hard and is super accommodating with our all you can eat salad needs lol. Thanks for great service to the #1 server again! As a side note, the other workers (all men) were standing around doing nothing. Quinn was the only server helping out and had to ask for salads etc to be ready a second time, also they are unable to follow direction on what kinds of things to omit i.e. loose croutons in the salads that were gluten free, added tomato and olive when requested to have them omitted. The table service was excellent but unfair to Quinn as these other staff should have been helping the only server on the floor. Quite disgusting watching the cook in the back flipping pizza dough so close to his face as he talked and laughed with two other male staffers. They were doing nothing, no bread available because they didnt cook it in time for the dinner rush! This location used to be our favorite but it has gone down hill quite a bit and thats unfortunate. Dietary restrictions: The gluten free pastas need more sauce. Gluten free tends to dry out a bit and additional sauce on the pasta is a must. Need more gluten friendly starter options.

Had salad and pizza, enjoyed the salad the pizza could of done with more cheese and tomato sauce, other than that it was good.

Food was great and service was great only complaint is that the food came a little to quickly we recieved our salad bread and meal all at the same time so the food got a little cold while eating our salads but overall a great experience.

RECiVED FOOD POISIONING FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT, DO NOT EAT HERE. Recieving food poisioning from a restraunt could mean they recieved bad ingredients, however it more likely means food was stored or cooked improperly or it was improperly handled by kitchen staff. Restraunt itself was very busy and loud, our server (middle aged lady) was very polite and friendly, however all the younger staff (severs and hostest) where very rude: giving rude looks, cutting you off as we walked to our table, blocking the entrance after we had paid for our meal and we where trying to leave, and not letting us switch to a booth when theyre where atleast 8 open. Previous takeout experience has shown they mispackage delivery items.

My wife and I went for dinner, I got the garlic fettuccine with chicken and she got the chicken parmesan with fettuccine...both the meals were very very blah..no flavor and the fettuccine was very undercooked and rubbery,..I had a michelob ultra beer on tap which was warm and tasted like it had dirt in it ...our caesar salads tasted bad as well and had no bacon whatsoever in them ..we both were very disappointed with our meals this time.

Entire team of 21 soccer players and 10 parents, in and out in 1.15 hours. Efficient and excellent service. Can t say enough about the timing and efficiency of this with a bunch of hungry players. Thank you from Oakridge SS in London ON.

Went here for dinner! The waitress was lovely, attentive and polite. We sat at the elevated tables at the front of the restaurant. Pretty lovely cause there wasn t too much noise as you can still hear your conversations at your table. As for food, I got the jumbo shrimp Alfredo which I enjoyed! Not big on portion, just the right size. Felt full after! Then again, I took advantage of the all you can eat salad or soup, and bread! I opted for the cradle salad but had 3 small loafs of bread haha. The warmth of the bread with the butter, I enjoyed. If you love bread you d love this. The Parmesan chicken was alright, nothing to hype about and so is the sphagetti that came with it. As for parking, lots of parking options surround the restaurant building. If you can t find a parking spot, park across at Shoppers. I d recommend this restaurant :)

Door staff were rude. Told us minute wait and then it turned into 45 minutes. The door staff had no clue who was waiting for tables and who had them reserved. Walked out after 45 minutes.

Food has gotten alot cheaper these days. There was 2 middle eastern men in the kitchen doing all the cooking, and one of them kept adjust his turban and putting his fingers under it (looked like he was wiping sweat off his forehead) and didnt wash his hands afterward. Wasnt too appealing, but luckily for us it was after our food had been delivered to our table. These guys used to have amazing food many years ago, but have gone downhill since covid. The sausage was SUPER thin, like SHAVED deli meat. They dont put ebough sauce to cover the pasta anymore and when you ask for more, they bring a small dip dish and charge almost the same price as an entire can of pasta sauce from the grocery store. They advertised a 10% off discount for CAA members, but then tell you that you cant use the kids meal card if you want the caa discount. Its 1 or the other. I was surprised, and ALMOST (Totally shouldve) told her to put 1 of our 4 adult meals on a separate bill so i could utilize both. There was no reason not to allow people to use both. Definitely not very interested in going back there until they improve.

A great place for family get-togethers , a fantastic meal in a welcoming atmosphere. The wait staff are delightful and happy.

As this is my favourite restaurant, my experience really sadden me today. A chicken caesar salad was ordered, the chicken came out slightly undercooked. Our amazing server Heidi took the salad back, & tried to resolve the problem to the best of her ability. However the chicken that the kitchen staff sent out was what appeared to be the same chicken, as it was slightly undercooked and pink as well. The manager happened to be near by & I spoke with her about it, and felt very disrespected. She told me that she talked to the kitchen staff and that there was just a vein in the chicken, indicating to me that they served us the same piece of chicken, and proceeded to give me slight attitude almost as if I was annoying her by bringing it to her attention. Thankfully Heidi was pleasant & did her best. She did compensate the salad which was much appreciated. Because of her I will return however I think some educate training for the front of house manager is needed.

Was only in north bay for the night and decided to go with something familiar. Got to say, this was the best east sides Ive gone to. A lot better than the ones in durham region. It was a packed night but the wait wasnt too long to be seated and the food all came in a timely order and was delicious. The waitress we had was very attentive despite how busy it was. Apparently 7 different tables were celebrating birthdays in the hour or so that we were there so all the waitresses were especially busy but still did an amazing job. A great experience. Vegetarian options: There is many vegetarian options. You can do the build your own pasta to make a vegetarian/vegan pasta, but they do not have any real vegan options. Yesterday I had lunch with a friend and her daughter here. Usually we have amazing service but not yesterday. We had ordered a soup, tilapia main entree and the seafood linguine that includes all you can eat bread and salad. The waitress never brought us out bread up until our meals were served as well as salads. I thought it was weird because usually we get that right away. She never came and asked us do you need anything or is everything okay. We had to ask for our drink to be refilled, had to ask for another loaf of bread as she only gave us 1 and we didnt even bother to ask for more salad since it seemed like an inconvenience to her. We actually had to ask another waitress for napkins as the child had split some ice tea on the table and she was very happy and willing to get those without hesitation. Usually we go and the service is amazing but yesterday was a whole different story. When we went to pay she didnt ask us how our meal was or if we wanted to desert she ask how are you paying as she was looking around no thank you or anything for the tip in which she really didnt deserve one but the food was good! Smiling and having great customer service could go a long way, who knows if she was new or having a rough day but people see it and it makes the atmosphere unpleasant. Edit** March 11th The manager from this location recifited the issue and was very kind and pleasant. I will give this location another chance and hope that we have excellent service like all the other previous times! My 2 daughter s treated me to a late lunch/early dinner at our favourite restaurant and this time we stopped in the North Bay location!! It did not disappoint with our favourite dishes but the best part was our service from Nikki/Nicki (sp ?) As a Chef I absolutely love and respect a great waitress and she has it all!! From the moment we stepped in to the conversation after paying, she made this outing the best experience!! Thank you SO much for everything and if you ever change your mind about Muskoka/Parry Sound - I d definitely steal you.

Service by Heidi was great, she was full of smiles & very pleasant. Not sure if caesar salad changed since last time I had it or if not drained enough but it was a little flat. Will go garden next time. But chicken linguini tetrazzini more than made up for it.

One of the best places in North Bay known for its Italian cuisine . Loved their Italian Wedding soup and Calamari al Diavolo.

My son and I stopped here for a quickish lunch mid afternoon. Really good food, great service, and awesome family time.

Ordered food at 6pm and by 8pm never arrived. They charged my card twice for the said undelivered food and a week later I am still trying to get my money back. Poor service and worse customer service. Lost future business.

They changed their Italian Wedding Soup so if thats why you go there, go there with caution. They have signs at the back of the restaurant saying this change which is not helpful unless you go to the bathroom before ordering. If someone orders a staple menu item that recently changed, maybe let them know when they order. The new version is not good.

When i arrived front staff were really polite. However i was sat at a table that was soaking wet and when i sat down so were the bench seats. They used a napkin to try to dry it off. There was food and old napkins under the table. Super unappealing. Spaghetti noodles and salad with old napkins and spillage if something where my feet went.

We were a big group of people with kids. We were treated with courtesy and the food was made with regards to our dietary choices. Kids were so happy and content with the food. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you for making our evening.

As someone who worked at this restaurant in the early 90s after it opened, this place has not changed inside. Still the old decor. The floors need to be replaced as they are disgusting The furniture does as well. The ceilings are no longer white. This place needs a major facelift and is brought up to the 2020s look. With that said our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. I could see the manager engaged with the guests and bringing food to their tables. So thats a positive.

We asked for a booth. There were 7 empty. This was 5 pm on a Monday night. The hostess flippantly told us, the booths were all reserved. I doubt it very much. After we were seated at the worst table in the restaurant, everyone who came in afterwards had a different host, and were given a booth. On the good side, our server was excellent and the food was hot and very good. Please retrain your greeters.

Prices of their drinks are extremely reasonable, but the patio was a mess the whole time we were there, They were not busy inside and there were so many hornets because of all the cups and food on the other tables on the patio. Drinks were amazing, unfortunately because of how disgusting the condition of the patio was left in we ended up all leaving after one drink.

Just went yesterday and brought the family expecting a good time but unfortunately we were disappointed in the end, the food was great but waitress was ridiculous. She took our orders, gave us our food and asked how it was and rushed off to Mars. Never did she come back afterwards, we were all done eating and upon waiting for her to come back; she never showed up. We had to ask the kitchen staff as to where our waitress went and they couldn t find her either. We were about to leave without paying and we couldn t even bring back our leftovers because she was gone so we couldn t get take-out containers. She ironically reappeared as we were leaving, forcing us to leave behind our leftovers. Definitely gonna think twice about going next time, service used to be much better. Kid-friendliness: They have a pretty good kids menu, and they do have high chairs and booster seats for kids.

Was in town on business. First thing I looked for was the he location of this restaurant. Had a great lunch of Shrimp Alfredo. Upon entering was met by the front of the house staff and was immediately seated. Very friendly and polite. My waitres, Michelle, promptly took my drink order and then brought it along with the famous garlic bread, nice and warm. She continued to check in on my progress and always had a very warm friendly smile. The seafood linguine was perfectly cooked and hot. I had the Salted Caramel Brownie with ice cream. Fresh out of the oven, nice and warm. A great finish to a delightful lunch. I keep hoping my city will get its East Side Mario to return.,, East Side Mario s continues to impress me with their friendly staff and great service and prices. The North Bay location continues to do the brand great service.

We had May V as a server tonight and she was amazing, fast and extremely friendly and efficient! The host at the front was super excellent too. He was so accommodating as we wanted a window seat to keep an eye on our dog in the vehicle (don t worry ppl, it was 3c out and we had our windows down for fresh air) We found that all staff at ESM worked efficiently and the morale seemed very upbeat! Keep up the superb work East Side Mario North Bay (we drive almost 1.5 hours here ) from the West Arm of St.Charles and we re never dissatisfied or disappointed!!

Two stars for delivery on skip the dish, food was late, cold and looked rushed. For example, no chicken or vegetable in the pasta we ordered. The loaded pepperoni pizza was not loaded with pepperoni. I prefer dining in and eating on the patio with our dog and the wait staff is always nice.

Last week i ordered ravioli and 2 salads and did not receive the salads. Had to wait an hour for the salads. So tonight, i ordered ravioli and a pizza and the Pizza did Not arrive. Just the ravioli. What the heck? Oh this was from North Bay, I see at the top it says Huntsville. But it was North Bay

Its hard to call it service in a restaurant. At McDonalds, its even more welcoming. The food is far from Italy, even the pizza was served with food that had been in the fridge for days, and smelled of everything that was probably stored in it.

Normally love East Sides, a classic dinner. I ordered to a meal to go and picked it up on my way home. When I got home, I discovered that they didnt give me the meatballs that I had paid $4 extra for so I was very disappointed. I called back twice and had gotten no answer and I was not going to drive 20 minutes back just for that because all of my food would have been cold by then. Really disappointed.
