Service is fantastic, food is fresh and I have yet to find something on the menu I dont like.

Delicious spicy pork stir fry with included sides.

My chicken was no less than 4 days old. It was hard and stringy under the coating. I pray I dont get food poisoning from the 2 bites I had.

Wow. What a lucky find along our route. Ill be making this a destination stop any time Im in North Bay. I had Bulgogi, kids had chicken fried rice. K-pop on the speakers and a clean modern Korean interior. Definitely a great spot to get your Korean on.

The Gangnam Spicy Chicken was amazing and the portions were also very good. 1 x Full Boneless Chicken was enough for the 4 of us. The Half and Half Mozza Dogs (K-Dogs) were also amazing and quite large. Also the Kimchi here is one of the best I had in Ontario. The staff was also very friendly, and the atmosphere was also very nice. Its a little on the expensive end, but for that price they give a very good portion of food. This is a must visit if you are looking for some good Korean Chicken and K-Dogs in North Bay.

I have never experienced such kind service. They said it would take a few minutes so I waited in my car and they brought it out to my car because it was quicker than 10 minutes. Honestly if 10/10.

I have eaten here many time and the food and the service is top rated There soup is now part of my favourite food the chicken and dumplings are awesome and I noticed the owner Sunju is going around the tables and mingling with the customers she is a great hostess and takes pride in her ownership of the restaurant and wants to make sure her customers are happy with there service I highly recommended this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a great Korean dish

The person working the front counter was friendly and helpful. The service was pretty quick and the food was amazing. You may spend a little more than most places but the food is definitely worth it. One of my favorite restaurants around town.

Far too expensive for the quality of meat and portions received. Food was very greasy. Update after the response below from restaurant.... I ordered the spicy chicken. Received chicken thighs that werent cleaned properly as every bite had a piece of cartilage in it. I was constantly picking it out of my mouth. Wish I had taken a picture of the grease I was soaking up with my napkin. We ate in and asked for a moment with the menus. Sat there for 10 minutes waiting to order and customers almost left without paying while we were there because not once did someone check in on them. My friend order a tea which was made wrong and instead of remaking it they tried to cover the mistake as we sat and watched. It was inedible. When you pay this amount for food you expect at least semi good quality.

Amazing food

We recently dined at Gangnam Korea and had a wonderful experience. The portions were generous, ensuring great value for money. Each dish was delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable, special mention to Rose. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a satisfying meal with excellent service.

Best chicken in Northern ON, and best Pogos in Northern Ontario. Highly recommend.

Update review: I ve been to this place many many times and only had an issue once! They were able to fix the issue and make it a satisfying experience again. By far just had the best boba I ve received from here! I ve recommended this place to so many people! So I m happy and thankful the mistake was fixed! - Dakota and Alaska. I don t know what happen or what has changed I never had an issue with anything I ve ordered from here. Yesterday after even giving a tip while paying before receiving the two boba drinks we ordered we received the regular tapioca boba instead of our popping boba balls. I hate complaining I was already having an overly busy and rough day. Instead of remaking our blended boba they proceeded to strain our slush into new cups with the proper boba balls and added liquids to make sure it went to the top of the cup. I tried stopping them and asking why they were straining it. They continued to finish we paid 22 dollars for two drinks and walk out with watery blueberry and peachy peach bobas that should have been slush they didn t even have any ice in them.

Such great food and huge portions. We had it for the first time and were so impressed. The chicken was so delicious and the rice was incredible. The bubble tea and popping bubbles was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will be going back to try different things often.

I ordered a half plate of chicken, and a mozzarella stick for around 50 dollars, and it did not disappoint. It takes a lot for me to get a takeout box, Ill say that.

Tasty Korean fried chicken. The kimchi and picked daikon that came with the chicken was very good. However the katsu that I also ordered was a bit on the thinner side. Which made it a bit dry.

All I can say is amazing!! I got my food delivered. It did not take long. The food was fresh and still hot. The food portion was great and worth the money. Definitely getting again! 11/10 for me :)

Massive recommend. This restaurants atmosphere and attention to customer service from wait staff to the owner herself, is only outmatched by the quality and taste of its food. This is an amazing Northern Ontario brand. (look forward to your coming soon!)

The parking is a little in size. Other option for parking is to park at he plaza right across the road where the Sobeys is. The waitress was very good and attentive. The service over all was 5/5. The atmosphere was light and airy. Felt nice and cool on a hot day. The food I ordered was the boneless soy garlic chicken with rice. Flavor profile wise, not similar to the ones in the GTA but it was still good. The honey butter was delicious on the other hand because it was sweeter. So for the people with a sweet tooth, this flavour you d enjoy. The side dishes were all right. The kimchi wasn t too spicy. The pickled cucumber and radish was good. The potatoe on the other hand was not good because if the tough texture. Also, the store has adorable Knick knacks you can purchase like tumblers, pencil case, key chains etc. Overall, I d come back again :)

Branding , atmosphere , the It s cleanliness and good customer service , I still imagined this as a successful chain I had not heard of it s a lotion in the kitchen it s Owner and creator came talk to us explaining the story of the restaurant and her dreams for it it northern Ontario has bragging rights , a claim to fame to the well prepared fresh food that if you have visitors to North Bay you should make sure they don t miss this restaurant Be proud of it ! support this local business with your taste buds! I have ordered from here multiple times; dine in, take out, and delivery. I have never once had an issue, they always meet or exceed my expectations! Food prices may seem high, but when you see the portion size it makes sense! A half order of chicken can be too much if you dont eat a lot, very generous portion sizes. Thankfully everything keeps and reheats well, because I almost always have leftovers. The bubble tea and mozza dog combo is fantastic value and amazing taste. The Spicy Gangnam Chicken is perfect if you enjoy spice, the Jap-Chae is one of the best noodle dishes I have ever had, the Korean Fried Rice is super well seasoned and flavourful, and the Korean Dumpling are a fantastic dish either as an appetizer or a meal to themselves. If Im ever in doubt about what I want to eat, Gangnam Korea will be in the forefront of my mind every time. If you havent tried them yet, do yourself a favour and check them out!

The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great! I only tried one dish, which wasnt terribly flavourful...that is why I gave the food three stars. Possibly other dishes are great, but I just dont know if Ill be back to find out.

Very good! Ive eaten here many times and will be going back today for more! The boneless Gangnam Korean chicken is the crowd pleaser. Think of typical Chinese takeout chicken like general Tao and turn it up to 11. Other dishes like the dumplings, mozza dogs, drinks and fried rice are very good too, but the chicken slaps. Inside is nice and clean with good vibes and staff is friendly. We usually only wait a few minutes for our order. Serving size of the chicken is fantastic too! Cant speak for the bone-in, we only get boneless.

Sunju and her staff are absolutely Amazing! The Bubble Teas are 10/10 with a huge menu, the Mozza Dogs & Spicy Gangnam Korean Chicken are off the charts amazing. They have some Awesome, Unique Korean Drinks (Sac Sac, Milkis etc) in addition to their massive drink menu, and let me tell you, I buy a couple of the Sac-Sacs and Milkis every time i stop in to take home and enjoy. They are so refreshing, and pretty cool to be able to enjoy an actual Korean treat they imported into Canada. My Family and I frequent both their Huntsville & North Bay locations usually a couple times per week. The dining area is always clean & tidy, such a great atmosphere to sit and enjoy some amazing food with friends or family.

Ive eaten at Gangnam Korea three times now and every time it blows my mind. We get the Gangnam Style fried chicken, beef dumplings, and pork bone soup, and the food is outstanding and always comes with kimchi and pickled diakon. This has become my favourite restaurant in North Bay!

The food and service is amazing. I m a regular. My only creative criticism is the sit down environment. It s to much like a fast food restaurant. I d love a better sit down environment and for what it s worth being licensed may not be a bad idea with Korean alcohol.

Waited for over 40min for food. Only to find out the kitchen ran out of paper. Everyone else was served that came in for take out after us. We sat right in front of the cash and were only ones in the restaurant and not once were asked by the server if we were waiting or needed anything. Terrible customer service. Ask for a refund and left.

When I first walked in I noticed how clean and bright the restaurant was. The menu was easy to read and was posted at the counter as well as overhead for easy ordering. I ordered japchae and a banana Boba tea. I loved that they had options for tapioca pearls or popping pearls. The japchae (which is a sweet potato noodle and beef dish) was superb. Just the right amount of seasoning with a silky smooth mouthfeel. The portions are large so bring your appetite. The Bubble tea was a refreshing contrast to the meal. Dont forget to try the homemade kimchi and pickled radish, best Ive ever tasted. I cant recommend this place enough!

They do their bubble tea right their boba is perfect, the food is good too but the price on the food is too high for what you get unfortunately which keeps us from coming back as often as wed like to.

My boyfriend and I were very excited that a Korean food place came to North Bay! But after spending over 100 dollars on food, the portions were very very small and the food was extremely expensive for what it is. The food tasted good but not that good for the prices and small portions :( Im not sure why they dont have a tester meal of a tiny bit of each dish. As most people in North Bay have no idea what some of the dishes are but would love to try a bit of each one without breaking the bank.

The food is great and authentic too. The Spicy Korean fried chicken and mozza-dog were my favorites. The online order service could be a bit better though, getting my order ready took a while because I had to wait for 20 mins at the restaurant and maybe it was a busy day, I guess ( I placed the order 3 hours before pick up). But the wait was totally worth it. Food was great. Totally recommend!!!! Loved the brown sugar bubble tea too.

Food was decent. Got the Bulgogi Dupbap. Lots of flavour but the portion size wasn t good compared to the price point. Don t see myself going back.

VERY small portions and expensive. We ordered beef bulgogi for 2, and it ended up being a snack for us because the quantity was not 2 peoples worth.

Wanted to try this since they opened and finally did, chicken and rice was tender and crispy, dumplings were good as well. We had a mozzarella dog and 1/2 and 1/2 dog with a peachy mango bubble tea. 50$ it s on the pricey side but the flavours were great and the service was friendly. My nephew loved the bubble tea. They do have a special 14$ for a dog and bubble tea which is very reasonable the dogs are huge.

The chicken is so good because of flavorful marinade! Also sweet potato noodles are delicious ! The fried dumplings are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I love this restaurant! Food : 5/5

Big portions and delicious food. Served fresh and quick. We had the dinner for two with Japjae added on, very filling and flavourful. The bubble/milk tea was tasty. Restaurant was clean and stylish with Korean pop stars . There is a karaoke room as well. Will come again.

This place is open for business and looks pretty awesome! Ive eaten at the Huntsville location MANY times and already know the food it outstanding. Just waiting for my first North Bay order and cant wait! The owner Sunju is so nice and full of energy! She said they are even open for Christmas. Im so glad I dont have to drive and hour to get their delicious chicken any more (sorry Huntsville Gangnam Korea ). Did I mention they have the best bubble teas Ive ever had? So much boba!! If I could give this owner and her restaurant 6 stars I would. What a real treat for North Bay!

I went here with my friend a few days ago and the mozza dogs were so freaking good. The owner was so sweet and the customer service was amazing. I love Gangnam Korea . The way they decorated the place with little Boba tea plushies is also so cute. LOVE LOVE LOVE Food

Checked out the opening day at Gangnam, and it was a total blast! The food was top-notch, and theyve got this awesome karaoke room where you can belt out your favorite tunes. Hoping they add some killer bibimbap and other Korean goodies to the menu soon. Super stoked that weve got more Asian flavors hitting up North Bay!

Very pleased with this place. The food was fresh and well portioned. The place was small but it wasn t a terrible spot to sit and have a meal. The customer service was helpful and kind and they got our food out in a timely manner despite being busy. I will definitely be back!

We ordered on Christmas Eve. Service was fast and super friendly. We tried the family meal to try a little of everything and nothing disappointed. The kimchi was spicy, the food had amazing flavour. I have no idea why the chicken was so crispy! It was loaded with sauce and we did take out. Superb. Going back for it all but bulgogi is top of my list.

Good concept, slightly poor execution. The waits for your food are ridiculous even for small orders. They forget items you paid for and they are unreachable over the phone to discuss it....but on the plus side, their kimchi fried rice is incredible. Side note - They have photos of Doug Ford randomly placed at their cash which is odd to say the least. They should probably reconsider that decision because there were a few people talking poorly about it.

Been here twice now, first time I had the mozza-dog bubble tea combo it was great, super crispy and lots of cheese, and the brown sugar bubble tea was delicious. Today I tried the gangnam chicken lunch combo which was so good. I can t wait to go back and try something else.

Went there for the first time today. Absolutely worth going, you can tell they choose quality ingredients. I had the honey butter chicken, the breading on the outside wasnt greasy, chicken was juicy on the inside, sooooo good! I had the half portion too, which you can definitely share with a friend because for one person its a lot of food. Definitely will be coming back!
