Harvey's in North Bay

We usually dine in but today the floors are filthy with flattened squished fries. Usually the tables are not clean and the bathroom never has paper towels to dry hands. And its floor is sticky, but we just figured it was due to lunch hour rush. But the last few times we were there a couple hours after lunch rush and today hardly anyone in the establishment. Food is good, the staff are friendly and nice, but please. Clean the place up as one wonders how dirty is it where we cant see. Response to Owner: I will keep an eye on reviews and if I see comments on how clean the establishment is then I will come back. Until then, I hope things improve so I can enjoy my Harveys burger again.

Forgot all the Fries for 3 meals and gave an onion ring with 6 rings in it......... Not impressed

Was at the drive thru for 20 mins.. No one answered the window as well.. Eventually left.

Just ordered food in drive through just now, and the girl who took our order was very rude towards us when went to the window. She even shut the door in our face and got mad at us for asking to use our scene points. If you cant train staff properly to treat customers it will be bad for the business. Never coming back here

Well this place is terrible. Worst Harvey s I ve ever been to. The staff were all yelling at each other, one lady said she was going home because she was stressed I guess. She was so nasty. Then another staff came to put the condiments on the burgers and she had the wrong burgers so she nastily threw them behind her and grabbed the right ones. We sensed she was very angry. Washrooms are so so disgusting!! Don t go to this Harvey s!! This was at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, August 27.

The team really hustles, you can tell that everyone is working their best to get orders out the best they can

If I could give zero star I would, who I assume is the manager, lady with brown hair and glasses absolutely screamed at the worker who was making our order and sent him on his break screaming at him till he left which resulted in our order being forgotten about for 15 mins while in the drive through which held up the whole line, they came to the window twice with other orders and when we kept saying no that s not our order they finally realized they forgot about us and our food ended up being cold, the manager was so nasty and rude when she basically threw the food through the car window knowing she screwed up.

The food was great and the service was quick. Most of the staff were friendly but, the manager Kimber?, was awful. From the moment I walked in, while I was eating and as I was leaving, she was treating the rest of her co-workers like garbage. There is no need to treat people like that. If they are making mistakes it is ok to correct them but, to humiliate and belittle them infront of customers is wrong. Pull them aside and speak to them with respect, because the way you were talking to them, you did not deserve it back. Oh, and would you mind wearing a hairnet next time? Everyone else had one on but you. No wonder this place seems to have a high turn over rate. It was honestly borderline work place harassment/bullying. She needs to be retrained on how to treat people. VERY TOXIC work environment.

Parking: parking is fine however the signs they have for curbside pickup fall over in the wind and could cause damage to vehicles

The cooks prepare the dishes without necessary hygiene practices. The restaurant is small and dirty and always with big lines for delivery orders from Skip the Dishes and Swiss Chalet. It doesn t have a pleasant environment for a meal. My suggestion is the construction of a larger and independent restaurant of the Swiss Chalet.

I usually dont have an issue, but missing dries, missing dip sauce and extra onion and extra pickles means just meat apparently. Order was left outside when specified not to and left alternate place for the food. $30 and terrible.

The food was Ok, however the way cashier Ankita treated us was pretty bad and we felt it pretty offensive. Ankita had a rude behavior and a lot of unwanted attitude. After all being a cashier, she should be having a positive attitude and at least a smile while dealing customers and doing customer service!

I had a great experience dining at Swiss Chalet! The staff were super nice and friendly. Susan was my server and she was very welcoming, fast at the service and super accommodating. A week ago, I was at Harveys where I ordered a Crispy chicken Sandwich, a poutine and a milkshake and Riley(who was my server) suggested that I make it as a combo just to save me a couple bucks. Amazing service overall.

Been trying to break into the hot dog reviewing game... Was suggested to check out Harveys so I went to my local location. I ordered the dog but did not know what to dress it with, luckily the employee working (Jeremy) helped me pick out condiments. Ketchup, mustard, onion, relish, and hot sauce... delicious combination! Will come back again, especially to get a classic hot dog!

Went to Harveys drive-thru to get dinner tonight. You can go to any Harveys and get the same quality of food. But the customer service we received we amazing!!! Sherri served us and was wonderful. Being in drive-thru with a child who wont make up their mind is stressful on everyone but Sherri was patient and understanding. She made some cute jokes to help ease my stress of holding up the line. I typically go in to eat but the service at the drive-thru tonight make me want to do the drive-thru more often. Way to go Harveys team and a big shout out to Sheri! Amazing customer service!

Ive been a dedicated customer of Swiss Chalet and Harveys for nearly 40 years. We moved recently into the North Bay area and it has been great to get to know some of the staff and to find that the meals here at my new favourite restaurant are as yummy as anywhere. The staff is hard-working and friendly and it is a very nice place to dine, be it in the Harveys side or the SC dining room. I am looking forward to many years of patronage. Thanks for your service.

The only reason I go to Harveys is because of Kim. Shes so enthusiastic, and ensures the orders are always right. Ive never had an issue with anything when shes working. Awesome service, thanks Kim, they should give you a raise - everytime Im there, youre whizzing around like multiple people - its only fair to get their pay! Great food, better service.

Always great and personable service. Calie is an absolute rock star! When shes not taking an order or dressing someones food, shes cleaning, organizing the condiments, or saving children from burning orphanages! That young lady deserves a raise and a chocolate bar!

I arrived near closing, and I was helped expediently while the staff completed their shutdown and cleanup. The food was as fresh as any other day, and Im certain of this because I watched the man at the grill putting it on. While I ate in the dining area, the staff went about their duties without bothering me in any way in fact, they made me feel very welcome and we shared a few laughs over their friendly banter as they cleaned the place up in no time. I neglected to note anyones names, but the young woman managing clearly had great rapport with her staff and maintained a positive and friendly atmosphere that I could feel from when I walked in! I only visit this location on occasion, but I imagine Ill stop in again soon after this experience! Editing this to add that I came again just tonight. They were very busy and working quite hard, but I still felt very welcome and had another great experience. Wish I could leave you another 5 star!

Decided to give them one more chance after listening to a manager and a couple of the people who worked there gossip and complain about another coworker while they couldn t be bothered to make something we wanted to order because it was at the back of the freezer . Tonight we got some food and they forgot part of our order so we had to go back in before we left to get it and waited even longer. Then we got home to enjoy our meal and my hamburger ended up being a chicken burger we did not order, nor was it made with what I wanted on it. Not only that, but the fries and the chicken burger were cold. At that point we d already gone home and to have to go back out just to get the correct thing wasn t worth it. Super disappointed. They seem extremely unorganized and nobody can follow through with making an order. Our order was taken by two different people and made by three, so something was clearly lost in translation. Won t be going back.

The manager (Kimber) is rude to her staff. Shes very arrogant, sighs all the time, she has an attitude. She is not management material. Its sad. She feels like she has to show her superiority over her associates. The food was good. The person who served me was obviously new, but trying their best to do a good job, very helpful and friendly. The manager on the other hand, should look for a different job, or attend a few focus groups and watch a few videos on management. Youre the reason why people dont want to work, and why fast food industries have revolving doors and complain about being short handed.

I went in and ordered 2 original double burgers ,,,,usually the patties are cooked then brought out to have them dressed the way I usually do ..pickles only...I watched the cook put cheese on them...honest mistake ...I made it known I did not order cheese he took the cheese off with bare hands...My issue is the cook removing or handling my order with no gloves on ,,,The girl who took m y order had gloves on....Please ensure all staff handling patties or toppings wear gloves ...Thanks Parking: 4 Spots

We were there two days before for dinner and I tried crispy Chicken burger from the dine-in area and the atmosphere was very good and tasty. I know Pawan was working there and he served me a hot and fresh crispy chicken burger meal . I have never had such a great chicken burger and the fries were well done and hot. Pawan is a very nice grill person and knows how to keep his customers happy.

My husband and I were both very impressed with a young lady named Annabelle. She was the best worker there, many of the other staff were standing around on their phones or eating food while it was busy. We watched as she rushed to cover all the positions. she was very kind to her colleagues and the customers, to make sure everyone left happy. My husband and I both assumed she was the supervisor or manager, we asked her and she said she wasnt, she said something along the lines of Im just an associate, I just try to make sure everything runs smoothly for everyone. she was incredibly funny and put a smile on everyone face with her amazing attitude. I hope next time we come the other employees take a look at this hard worker and do the same. I would be more inclined to leave 5 stars if the other 3 employees there werent standing in a corner on their phones, eating, and having very loud inappropriate conversations.

Was served by Annabelle, and she was very attentive to the staff and customers. was busy when I got there, she was running around, from taking drive-thru orders and packing orders in the back while helping put the toppings on burgers. This employee will no doubt be running the place soon. I thought she was a supervisor or manager because of the way she helped everyone all around. I even witnessed Annabelle offer skip/doordash drivers fountain drinks for being patient while waiting for the orders, making them less aggravated and annoyed at the wait time. Ive never been more impressed by a fast food employee going above and beyond to make sure things go smoothly. this employee was very fast to recognize the needs of the people around and she was fast to respond to their needs. I have read many of the reviews for your establishment, this employee has been mentioned more than once, seriously consider promoting her, or getting her a raise before she gets scouted out by another business. I will be coming back just to see her in action again! Very impressive young lady.

Poor cook in the back was getting yelled at infront of all customers busting his butt of working himself. Management yelling at everyone. Usually go thru drive thru so don t get to see the inside atmosphere. Various obvious to see how that place is ran. Be kinder and treat your staff with respect

Worst wait time in any drive through. Food is cold by the time you get to the window. Staff are rushing and disorganized. Kid-friendliness: Not very friendly to anyone let alone children.

Google says they re open till 12 i walked over at 10:30pm door said drive thru open till 10 and lights were off. Lol waste of time just for that i ll never spend a dime at this location.

Placed a mobile order at 12:32 pm. Went through drive thru. Was given the wrong order, then was told to park and wait. It was now 12:59. Went inside demanding answers it should not take 30 minutes for drive thru. They offered me 2 free pies and asked which flavor. I said strawberry. Received my order exactly 30 minutes later. They couldnt even get the pies right I received apple

The store is closing at 10. But in the Google it is still showing the store is open till 12am

The person taking my order was friendly and nice, the male employee who worked on my order had no idea what he was doing. There was 4 drinks 3 were only half filled, out of 4 burgers 2 were burnt and it took 40 minutes to get 2 cheese cakes, one was so frozen you couldnt eat it. I will say when I called Laura a manager there she did apologize and offer me a $25 credit towards my next meal.

Sherry was great taking my order and Blake topped my Jr cheeseburger just the way I asked. They both asked if I wanted my Chipotle to dip my onion rings in. Thanks guys Food : 5/5

I ordered 2 Swiss chalet meals at 6:56 pm this evening. The order took 20 mins to prepare and the cashier kept telling me that my order was coming next. I asked him around 10 mins if he knew that for a fact and he said yes. Another 10 mins later my order finally was ready. Several drive thru and dining room orders came off the register after mine but were served before me. This amount of time for a 1/4 chicken dinner and chicken strip dinner is not acceptable.

They are closed qt 11 but not updating the time in the maps or application.

Waited an entire hour just to order and then another 30 minutes just to get 2 poutines in the drive thru! Absolutely ridiculous. I will never come to this location in North bay. Maybe they should offer gas money to there costumers in the drive thru next time.

Google says theyre open. Their website says theyre open. Passing through I was looking for something quick to eat. It was 1030pm, Google says theyre open until 12am. I pulled up to the speaker, and after a couple of minutes, someone came to the back door to let me know that they were closed. I let them know that their information online states that theyre open until 12am. He told me that they didnt know how to change the hours. No one does who works there. I let the guys know that it was incredibly easy, but he was like, Yeah, I only work here. My response was, Maybe thats why youre holding the broom buddy.

My wife and I went to Harveys this evening and it was very uncomfortable. From the time we walked into the restaurant, the lady in the purple shirt (manager or supervisor) was talking down to the staff and being aggressive toward them. We could hear everything while we ate in the restaurant as well. It was very uncomfortable and stressful hearing a person in charge treat staff like this, especially in front of customers. The food was alright and we didnt have to wait long.

The service was fast and friendly. The worker that took my oder was very polite when she took my order, and again was very helpful with picking my topping on my burger. She upselled me on cheese and bacon on my angus burger. She was calm and served with a smile even though the line up was long. Her other coworkers cane to her with questions and she respectfully answered and guided them in the right direction while completing other tasks. Over all very satisfied with my visit and my burger was amazing with the bacon. The workers name was Annabelle, she deserves a raise, for being patient with her coworkers, the customers and for over all being a 10/10 worker! Glad to see a minimum wage worker go above and beyond the way she did! Glad to see the store is getting better hires, from past visits

We thought we would try this Harveys one more time after a bad experience a few months ago. Well it didnt disappoint!!!! It is still bad. The burgers meat was hard from reheating(actually saw this), buns were cold from sitting in a bunch under the toaster. The food counters were filthy. Obviously more concerned with getting their product out than quality of the food. We will never go back!!!!!!! We have always preferred Harveys over other chains but that has changed. Dont go to the North Bay chain....

I was served by Annabelle, she made this experience absolutely delightful. She was kind and curtious and had a fun vibe to her all around!

Best service! Had this one employee, Annabelle, she was bubbly and personable. Definitely would go back. Highly recommend going just for the experience.

Annabelle took my order recently while i was passing through, she was helpful with her coworkers, kind to costumers, and overall a great employee, she helped me find what Id like when I wasnt 100% sure whether I wanted a couple items, though there was a long line she was efficient and didnt waste anytime, she was calm in the busy environment.

The best burgers around, best customer service. Everytime I come here a girl named Annabelle is always so energetic and so pleasant with a smile on her face!

Had a great meal at this location today. Food was hot n fresh and served fast. My table was clean along with the rest of the dining floor. Big thanks to Christine who helped me at the cash and made this a pleasant experience. Only negative was that there were no paper towels in the men s washroom and the urinal didn t seem to flush properly, leaving others pee for the next person. 5 star for food and service with 3 stars for amenities

First time visiting here not long ago and I was not disappointed! A woman named Annabelle was so helpful and kind while taking my order and prepping my burger. It s nice to see young kids out there still being kind to us older folks, made my day.

Outstanding work

First visit was at 11h am on Dec. 20 to place our order for 10 people on dec. 22 They turned us around rolling their eyes saying they didnt had time to take our order We made it online Could not find what everyone wanted but still managed. Arrived at 11h10 on dec. 22 for my order at 11h15 I have not talked with someone yet and Ive been waiting at the cashier for 5 minutes at least. Food is ok but service is honestly awful

Harveys was delish as always. Ate in because the drive through wasnt moving at all. Could have been Swiss Chalet too, idk.

Harveys is my favorite fast food burger, but lately the service has been chaotic and today was a disaster. The staff are all running around, there is no organization whatsoever, some of them are obviously not well trained. The young guy on cash somehow screwed up placing our order so he asked several staff for help and not one person stopped to help him. He handed a note to the server who completely ignored Us for the next 10-15 minutes while everyone else got served. Other people were getting mixed up orders as well. This store needs a manager who focuses on training and team building skills immediately.

This Harvey s drive-through is notoriously slow. I went today and waited in the drive-thru for 20 minutes when there were only two cars in front of me. For the last 10 to 15 minutes of that wait, I could see my order just sitting out at the drive thru window. Why they didn t have the cars ahead of me pull forward and park in the parking lot is beyond me. Needless to say, I cancelled my order once I got to the window
