I would give it 6 star it would not let me i would give 7 but there was no desert.

I like that you can choose between breakfast and lunch menus. Great service.

It s a very popular store. If you come late, you ll have to queue up. It takes about 30 minutes to wait for your meal. I wasn t hungry when I ordered, but when the meal came I realized I was too hungry, so I ordered more to avoid changing my mind while waiting. I ordered less. But I think the waffles taste good and the fried potatoes are also good

Drove all the way to North Bay from Sudbury just to try this spot and it was so disappointing. Ordered the Philly cheese steak and got a soggy mess. Service wasnt bad tho. Wouldnt come back

We were looking for a good sitdown breakfast restaurant, found terrys on google with amazing reviews so we all went gave it a test. To our surprise the reviews we had seen were spot on the place is amazing, the service is absolutly perfect and joyfull and to top it the food was on point priced was amazing. We were 10 of us and we were all served at the sametime. 5 thats is exactly what it is when privately own amazing restaurant Terry

i am beyond disappointed because I was hoping to find a welcoming environment in my Community so I can support a smaller business but i am NEVER!!! doing so again after this horrendous experience . i walked in one sunny afternoon with 20 dollars, to get a homecooked lunch instead of some processed fast food, when i got inside nobody greeted me or asked if i m doing take out or sit in. The employees just proceeded to stare at me with judgement, i went up to the cashier, and asked for a simple burger with a side of fries, not even a drink.. i payed and ut was 17.50 but the lady took the rest of my money without asking and proceeded to put it in her own tip jar, i would of tipped but she didn t ask.. i was In disbelief with selfish acts.. she was rude and had absolutely zero manners when taking my order. The environment made me uncomfortable, the lady who took my order made a kid cry, there was a sketchy dude who was constantly checking me out and they were women who were judging me for my body, they were giving me dirty looks because im bigger and it made me insecure about my body and i thought i should not be ordering a burger once i got my food 30 minutes after ordering they were next to no fires and no ketchup. the fries were uncooked and not seasoned the burger was to die for though dearest bob

We had an incredibly rude and impatient waitress this morning. It s understandable to be a little overwhelmed during a busy Sunday brunch rush but we definitely won t be back anytime soon.

We have been to Terrys a couple of years ago with family for a few meals, but with COVID years, and some moving around, our meals out had reduced. We enjoyed the food then but found the restaurant a bit noisy and full. We just went back today and the changes have been wonderful and greatly enhanced our experience. They have added some booths and the restaurant is much easier to navigate and more comfortable. They may still get pretty busy [a sign of a good restaurant for sure] but it was not as overwhelming from our booth. My husband and I also have some gluten intolerance [not celiac so I cannot vouch for this for those with celiac reading this review...]and it was a delight to have the gluten free options available on the menu. They have the best gluten free french toast I have had out at a restaurant - it is rare to even see that as an option in most places. Nice big slices of bread, not the tiny gluten free breads you can sometimes get. They do have gluten free buns as well but I cannot say what they are like. I highly recommend them. We had breakfast, it was service with a smile and very helpful with orders. We were checked on regularly and make eye contact with a waitress and they will also check on you even if you are not their table. We will defiantly be going back again soon! OH!! And the bacon was sooooo good! Big well cooked pieces! Dietary restrictions: Although we do not have celiac, we have gluten intolerance. So persons with celiac will have to learn more for themselves on this. For us, they had great options for breakfast. Best gluten free French toast. Our waitress also did not take a chance with the sausage and suggested bacon instead. She also did not cut our french toast slices as they often do because it would be on a shared cutting board with regular bread so showed knowledge of ensuring we were not exposed in other ways.

Was disappointed with fries. Wetern sandwich was good n filling..not impressed with gravy on fries

Be warned that the only take cash and Debit. Told them to look at Square as an alternative to expensive bank systems

Staying in North Bay for an event and looking for a good breakfast place. Terry s pops up as a best place to go. Server was pleasant and efficient. Food was very good as well as portion size. The best part was they had homemade panfried potatoes. Not the deep fried stuff. They open at 7 which was great and the place was clean. Give them a try.

First time here at Terrys. It was a Saturday morning so it was packed and super busy and you must take these things into consideration when reviewing places. The food over all was a B taking into consideration how packed it was. It also took a very long time. But again, they were slammed. My BLT bacon was over cooked but it came hot and looked pleasing and was very tasty. My friends meal was great as she reported. Coffee was very good. Endless cup. Staff were alert, accommodating and so friendly. Bathrooms were very clean. At first I thought the paint choice on the walls was perhaps dreary. Its a dark grey. But after a few mins it seemed to be almost calming in a loud and chattery environment. Highly recommend. Will be back! Kid-friendliness: We had the pleasure of seeing many cute babies and reasonably well behaved children. Its nice to see a kid friendly sit down restaurant!

This used to be our favorite breakfast spot...unfortunately that run is over. Last time we were there the omelette was runny in the middle. Took it home and finished cooking it in the microwave. Today I ordered the breakfast club. The bacon was raw so I had to pick it off the sandwich. The fat was still white and mushy. I told and showed the waitress and nothing was done to correct the problem. I was still charged full price for my meal again. While paying, the waitress at the cash said she had a sandwich a couple of days ago and her bacon was also raw...you would think if that was the case a few days ago that the issue would have been corrected. Guess its time to find a new breakfast spot....SSOOOOOO disappointed

Had s great breakfast there. I had eggs bacon with the shredded potatoes. Omg they are a must try. He had the trucker special. It was good and fairly priced as well. Terrys place so good. Yummy

Staff are super attentive. We got the French toast and classic breakfast with the hash brown. Personally think the hash brown should be cooked more, it was mushy. French toast is a little bland.

Best eggs benny ever! Homemade jalapeño hollandaise sauce with bacon and cheddar cheese?! I mean come on! My husband and I were visiting Powassan for a wedding, and we stopped for breakfast here, the second day we were there. It was so good we went back the next day before heading home! It was packed full both times we were there, but food was fast and delicious both times, too! If we are back in the neighbourhood, we will definitely be stopping at Terrys again!

My favourite and go-to breakfast place in North Bay. Always great specials, the place is clean and the servers are terrific. It can be a little peopley, because they are so popular. For the best experience, I recommend waiting for a booth, or (even better) using one of the outside tables in warmer months.

Honestly I was disappointed. Iv heard that the food is good and came in for a birthday lunch.However our experience was not great. So starting with arrival we waited about 10 mins. The sign said wait to be seated. There was a table empty, just had dirty dishes on it. Not one server came over to us to say hey it will just be a few moments. I actually had to approach the server. After we finally were seated. I ordered the swiss and peameal bacon burger and a poutine. My wife ordered the cheese omelette and potato hash browns, we ordered a pogo and fries for my little one. I will say the burger was alright because I ordered the works it mast the burnt taste. I pulled the bun apart and the bottom side of my burger was black and not just flame broiled. All my food and my daughters food was burnt (except her pogo) The fries were badly overcooked on both plates. I actually pulled out a hard black chunk out of my daughters plate and gave it to the Server. She was apologetic and spoke to the kitchen staff and offered to take a couple of dollars off the meal. In my poutine there were black specs of Char from the fries. My wife did say the omelette was decent enough but stated that her potato hash browns were extremely bland. Again not a great experience and wont be returning based on the food and service. I say the service part. Just because the wait time at the start and she never came back to ask us if we needed anything else and to see how the food was. I had to get her attention each time. She was nice enough and did her job well when taking are order and dealing with the hard black chunk of char in my kids meal. But I also feel that she didnt come back to ask cause she knew the food was subpar and probably shouldnt have been served to us.

Good place to eat for breakfast or lunch. Nice to have a neighbourhood place like this. Only complaint is that as often as I go there, there is often one thing wrong with our meal--eggs wrong style, wrong toast, hash browns instead of home fries, etc. Nothing horrible, but could be improved. Other than that, I recommend.

I love Terry s. I went for the first time just recently and have been back a few times since. The atmosphere is cute- lots of regular locals & it s clean. The service is great, they re friendly and your food arrives quick and hot. I personally love that my drinks get delivered in the can or bottle (with a glass if you choose to use it), and you get a great portion for what you pay! I ve never been a morning person but I look forward to breakfast more often! Highly recommend!

We decided to go to breakfast here because of the online reviews and they met all of our expectations. Service was quick, food was delicious and hot. I particularly enjoyed the eggs benedict. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes plus it was very easy to walk to from the place we were staying. I would highly recommend it for breakfast. Plus it was reasonably priced.

Food was great and they offered gluten-free bread so win there. But there should be a dress code for your servers as some were wearing bike shorts or lulus and best all short shorts so when she cleans a table her a$$ hangs out.

Very expensive, food wasnt great, was given the wrong bill, order was messed up and had to ask multiple times for another drink. $75 for breakfast for 2 adults and 3 kids is an atrocity. Will not be back. Im not sure if we paid for breakfast or filled up my cars gas tank.

Note for those not familiar: The till to pay is about halfway from the front of the restaurant. I didnt see it from where I was seated so I waited until someone else paid and watched them. Went for breakfast. It was very good! Its inexpensive and the portions were generous. The service was friendly. Very clean, including the bathroom. Would come here often if I lived in the area. Highly recommend.

This was our first time but it will not be our last. We arrived 25 minutes before closing and they were very welcoming, encouraging us to stay even though it was so close to closing time. All the staff members including our server, Patti, were very warm and gracious. I would go back if for nothing else than the excellent service. I had the Crispy Chicken Cobb salad and it was absolutely delish! We will definitely go back again. Next time well have to go for breakfast! Pokemon Go players: there is one stop within reach. Throw a lure on it and catch while dining, if desired.

We stopped in here for breakfast during a trip to Northern Ontario. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. Particularly enjoyed the hash browns! Our waitresses were attentive, pleasant and efficient. I noticed too the lengths they went to in cleaning the booth and preparing it, no half hearted swipe with a dirty cloth here! Would definitely recommend if you are travelling in this area.

We stopped in for lunch today, weve been a few times for breakfast, but this was the first lunch we could remember. I got the lunch special, eggs benny with bacon jam and brie with homefries. Oh my goodness, that bacon jam was amazing. According to the waitress it is like cooked bacon chopped finely even minced and sauteed in maple syrup!!! To die for!! The two little chunks of brie were a bit small, may have been better under the egg with the bacon and larger pieces. Hubby had the club (or course) it was delicious as well. We always forget about this very clean, local place. Waitress was awesome too. We will be back!!

Brief visit to NB, friend suggested Terry s for breakfast. Excellent suggestion! Place was very clean, all servers were polite and friendly. Great coffee. I had the daily special: Bacon and Jalapeño Eggs Benedict. No trouble to substitute gluten-free bread. An enjoyable meal all around: if I lived closer , I d be a regular!
