Awesome! I like them hot and as always they delivered! ( we picked them up ) The power was there, the restaurant food was right on and the only thing that was a miss was we couldnt have a cocktail waiting for our food.

Good family restaurant with bar options. Overall a good choice for a party or a group of persons with a range of tastes. Wings are a go too. Some foods are definitely better than others. The french fries were soggy of oil, and flaccid (like bathing in oil) when we were there last. They do have a dedicated keto/gluten free fryer, or so they have stated. Which does keep me trying. But the fries are better elsewhere. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

moose Cookhouse is my absolutely favorite restaurant. The staff is excellent. It is a fast and friendly atmosphere. Their food is great and they have all you can eat wings on Wednesday nights.

Abbi! Was beyond amazing server to both Hooman and Doggo! Everyone in Area recommended Mooses Cookhouse. So we had to dry it! The wings were a 7/10 the Service was 12/10. We ended up coming back to try the grilled steak sandwich! Thank you Abbi, your kindness , and great service will not be forgotten. Thank you Abbi

Probably the worst food Ive ever had from here. Wings were overcooked and inedible. Mushrooms caps were half cooked and I spent a good part of my night in the bathroom. Also for the third time, half the dips we paid for. Wont order there again.

So, food was fantastic. Good food, server at first, ooph, thought she was standoffish; however, not at all the case. She checked in with me the right amount of times and asked all the usual questions. Thats all fine. WHAT! Gives it the five star solid from me is the server, admittedly the restaurant was a little slower, so, we chatted for a bit and she ended up showing me around and the atmosphere was amazing. Its what all these new or remodeled restaurants are missing. Culture, history, esthetics. I will 100% be back, because the server was amazing and because I want to be there. It felt like home and it was my first visit. Should my opinion change, Ill update but for now. Solid place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere.

Great food and service even when the issue was a second party delivery, not theirs , they took care of it.

My friend and I were having a good time until a security guy (slim, light skinned dude) came and harassed my friend for dancing with the girls . Even when everybody around my friend tried telling the security, he wouldn t listen. I wish I knew his name. It wasn t pleasant.

Called for well over 15 minutes staff here are too incompetent to answer a phone. Edit: tried for over an hour and a half still no answer

Long story short. Love the wings here and have been going to the moose for over a decade. Ordered takeout for my first time tonight, big mistake. Missing items on my order which is no big deal, mistakes happen. Called to tell them about it and they sent over a driver with the missing items. After telling them my address over 3 times over 3+ different phone calls (not including the first call about my order). They showed up, handed me my food, without saying a word, with a nasty look on there face, and walked away, as i said thank you for driving over the missing items. Most definitely the worst customer service I have had and i will definitely not be ordering takeout from here again. Greats wings bump them up to 2 stars!

First they didnt want to give me a table when many tables were available. The wings were fresh and good, but the sauces are not good at all. The appetizer was good. The place is good but needs better management and service.

The food was okay. Nothing special quite frankly. Ordered cocktails and got drinks with no alcohol in them. The server didnt card me which was odd. Im a younger person so 9/10 Im carded for alcohol. But I am of legal age and had my ID ready to show the server. It wasnt a big deal but when my partner and I got our drinks we felt absolutely nothing. It had nothing to do with alcohol tolerance or amount. I know when Im drinking alcohol or not. Those drinks which were almost 9$ each felt like drinking nothing.They tasted good but did not at all feel alcoholic.

Not a bad thing to say. Will definitly go again soon.

No, they dont serve moose meat.... but, one of the best traditional wings with 100s of different sauces. Their steak sandwich and Tex Mex salad were really good too! Great quality for not expensive food. Vegetarian options: Not many protein options for vegetarians. They have a few salads with meat you can ask to remove, but I missed a tofu or nuts on those...

Not great, dont be fooled by the Fiesta salad. Doesnt come in a taco bowl. Served with tortilla chips that are stale. Basically, its a big classic salad with Mexican cheese barely any Salsa one little container it does not cover 1/3 of the salad and cost extra for more. Dont waste 16.95 on it. The server also said it would be iceberg lettuce clearly wasnt and nothing Mexican about it other than they give u salsa and sour cream with Mexican cheese. Go to Slys if craving a great taco salad ..Best in town. Good wings, though. Everything else kind meh. Tried about 4 different things with the boyfriend, but find only wings tend to be worth the money and good. If you are looking for great burgers, go to beef and brand, or crown and beaver. The server wasnt that nice either, sadly.

Food was dry, server was cold. Brought out the appetizers at the same time as the mains. After only taking two bites of our meals and deciding to leave, they only took 15% off the total. Never coming back it s just hockey kids

Terrible bar! Staff members have the audacity to use derogatory language like retard towards their customers FOR NO REASON!!!! Even if there was a reason that is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. They also kick out innocent customers left and right. Its a disgraceful display of discrimination and incompetence. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this dumpster fire of a place. It s really not worth it.

In my recent visit to the bar, I unfortunately witnessed unacceptable behavior from a staff member. The balding male who was letting people in, made derogatory comments to a friend of mine behind her back, using inappropriate language. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable and tarnishes the overall experience at the establishment. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly to maintain a respectful environment for all patrons.

Visit was in July 2017 - Edited Feb 2024 The Moose is loved in England! We visit North Bay as much as we can due to family being out there and The Moose is a MUST-GO on every trip. The wings are absolutely awesome, the atmosphere is super chilled and the interior looks awesome. LOVE THIS PLACE! We went for super bowl 2024, the food was amazing and the service was amazing as well! Our servers name was Bri and she was fantastic. The other staff were also wonderful and the environment and the food was top notch.

On superbowl I Ordered 3 orders of wings that were ok and an large order of fries. I got basically a handful of fries that were absolutely terrible. Cant believe they sent them that way. I threw them away.

As a family we have been going to the Moose since it opened over 25 years ago. Id say we go 2 to 3 times a month. We have always had exceptional and very friendly servers. Both Brodie and Chris run a very good business. On numerous occasions I have been asked to arrange functions such as birthday/retirement parties and staff and management have always been very accommodating. Totally recommend the Moose! Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and always have a supply of crayons and candies available. Servers often pay close attention to the kids and engage them in conversation.

There are very few places that our family and friends attend in North Bay where we are always welcomed like family. The staff is great and so is the food! We have been to the Moose for family functions, retirements and just for fun and we have always had a great time. It is one of our favorite restaurants in town. Highly recommend.

Atmosphere at the moose is always great! The food is hot and delicious. The buffalo chicken poutine is my fav and you can t go wrong with Wednesday wing night!! Brody and his staff are top notch. Serving staff are personable and welcoming and are quick to respond to requests. Myself and my family go often and have never been disappointed. Kid-friendliness: We ve brought our 8 month old and our nieces (11&9) and there are high chairs for the little one and colouring for the older ones.

Amazing service! Made an order on skip and somewhere down the line something got missed. When we called the store to figure it out The manager or owner came on the phone and told us he would be here in a few with what got missed. Not very long after he showed up and was extremely nice and apologetic about the issue. Hands down some of the best service I ve seen in this town.

Was excited as we guys (10 people) planned having dinner together at this place! The server who took the order was so nice and humble !! unfortunately we didn t see her coming again ! may be her shift ended! right after that we waited for 30 minutes for the wings to be served!!, we gave them the Add Ons as soon as we got the first order and because it was just half an hour left for the closing, another server became rude to us. It seemed they were simply throwing the plates on the table. At the time of payment one of the servers was literally dropping receipts on us after approval. And it was not only our table that faced this but also the couple of more tables that had the similar experience

Never again went for all you can eat wings it s not all you can eat your charged for every 1lb miss leading as you advertise all you can eat food and service was good

Awesome wings, with close to a hundred different flavours. Had the Blue Bombers flavour, unlike anything Ive had before...a mixture of blue cheese and hot sauce, delicious. Cheers and thanks.

Great Family Restaurant

Dont be wacky and skip out on this place when looking to get your wingy on. A great selection of sauces, excellent caesars and service is typically pretty good. Nothing fancy, just what youd expect from a wing joint. The cross track nachos are pretty tasty too!

Always great atmosphere and wings at Mooses!

We dined there on April 7th, wings and fries. The wings were gigantic. However they tasted like they were cooked mid afternoon and reheated, no juice to them at all. The fries were just as bad, very dry. We asked for another serving of fries and they were better. Sorry but won t be going back any time soon.

I wouldnt go here again. Service is non existent. They have a bunch of divas working there who would rather talk with each other than actually serve people.

Went on a steady (not busy) night in April and waited 1 hour 45 minutes for food while tables who were seated at least 45 minutes to an hour after us got their appetizers AND meals before we got our food. Waitress also charged my friend for a side of fries she ordered but never got. We didnt even get opportunity to order another drink while waiting for our food because our server never stopped at our table. I got a wrap and it was so underwhelming. The chicken was barely warm, cheese not melted, and tortilla was cool. The gravy on my poutine wasnt even warm enough to melt the cheese

I ve been coming here for a few years now and I m never disappointed. Best flavours and biggest wings I ve found ( I ve tried a lot of wings ) Atmosphere is always good and service is great.

Service was great.. food was good enough (the nachos were all chips, barely any toppings, the chicken fingers were good!)... but it took a REALLY long time. Like ridiculous long time... we had little kids with us, and it was not that busy.

Fantastic Greek salad and spicy wings. The fries are great and the lunch specials....all for a decent price....and free refills on the iced tea. Unfortunately the service is not up to par. And why is the meal served on paper. I ended up eating some of it as I used a fork and knife for eating.

Very decent selection of sauces. Wings come as breaded or not. They have boneless wings too. Service can be a little slow. Not the kitchen but wait staff. Slow on refills (if offered), slow on auxiliary items like ketchup or extra blue cheese. Quick to ask if everything is okay, quicker to assume so and leave before getting an answer. Priced as expected. Meal was as expected. Served hot and as ordered. 4 flames did not even register as hot (no reaching for a drink, or blue cheese). To that end, everyone enjoyed their food.

Ive been here many times and its one of my favourite places in town. I really like the northern atmosphere, the wings are the best in town, they have the most sauces and the sevice is generally good, unless theyre quite busy and short-staffed. When its full, its tight moving around and getting in and out of seats in corners, but thats a good problem to have because it means the place is hoppin! Parking: The Moose is on Main St. with very limited parking--paid by day, free in the evening. Theres a municipal parking lot close by which is also paid on weekdays & free in evenings and weekends.

Atmospheric is only 3 stars because I dont like sports and it was loud because of some game... but they served me what might be among the best wings I ever had. Good deal because it was wing night. They charge market price for wings, which I think was $15. But you get 1.5 lbs for $22 and its all-you-can-eat. All I could eat was 1.5 lbs because theyre frickin hugs wings. Beer price is reasonable

Great chicken wings with a list of flavors to keep you interested and coming back for the long run. They also do a great chicken ceaser wrap which if suprisely hard to find these days. I m not normally one to leave reviews, but I felt my experience needed to be shared. I came from out of town for a wedding last month and was very excited to eat here as it came highly recommended. When we got our wings, we noticed there was hair all over them, almost on every wing. When we told the waitress, she looked really grossed out and took them away. Then the manager came over to our table and told us they were chicken feathers, which in my opinion, is worse than hair. We didn t order new wings because we were so grossed out. I ll never know what was actually on the wings, but this dining experience will always leave a sour taste in my mouth.

Ordered the swiss and mushroom burger, bottom bun was so soggy it turned to liquid and you couldnt pick up the burger, topping where very messy and did not look appealing at all, came with one small tomatoe slice that didnt even cover whole burger, lettuce was yellow. Side salad came with dressing open and half spilled throughout the container.

Well 1st time there ! Got there got seated and waited for 20 mins before anyone came by! But a server named Ben came to see us ! He was curious and did a great job ! We were very happy with his service ! The food was good ! Wings were great ! A bit hotter for the food it wasnt as hot as it should have been but Ben made our experience there good! Probably go back again for another try for some more wings !

This is one of the top spots in this city for good food, good company and cold beer. Highly recommend any of the burgers they serve, more then worth it.

2 pounds of wings 3 Craft beer - Lot 626 1 order of fried pickles $90.00 with tip ($10) Ninety. Dollars. What?! I wont be back. Despite seeing like 7 staff wandering around aimlessly, I had to leave my table and walk up to the bar to ask (interrupting quiet time) for another beer. No wonder it was EMPTY on Saturday night. And no music. Like Library quiet on a Saturday night. My wife was like this is the place you came to in college? Im dead lol. Please tell me this place has brand new owners who are completely lost at sea in North Bay? Dim the lights, crank the tunes, have a tall can sale, normal people can afford. Or a pitcher and platter deal. $90 dollars!! Hire a manager that knows what a pub should look and sound like on a Saturday.

I really enjoyed the wings. I find its the best place to get wings, so many choices. On ceasar salad they put a lot of bacon bits. Very delicious.

Went to All You Can Eat wings for a LONG overdue catch up with my cousins. Our waitress Kaylee was a m a z i n g. Joked with us, talked up the menu, gave sauce recommendations. We were loud and obnoxious but she made us feel like we were welcome regular. Huge food menu, great drinks. This is a relaxed place to kill an afternoon with your long distance family.

As a stranger in this town, I aimlessly walked out the side door of the Days Inn, in search of draft beer and a friendly environment. Maybe even something tasty to-go. I chose correctly. Excellent staff and great for somebody passing through, with a hotel in walking distance. I had two Cracked Canoes, good conversation and tried to solve the puzzle of which wings do you want. I swear, theres 90 flavours. All cleverly named.

Great location Main Street North Bay. We stopped for cocktails which were very tasty and reasonably priced. The decor is nice the staff were friendly. No complaints would return for food and drinks.

Bruchetta had mayo on it, inedible, who the hell puts mayo on bruchetta? And it was served on some type of cracker bread. Had to go inside from patio and get my own beer. Fries over loaded with salt, inedible. Wings were ok, edible. A little undercooked but apparently its because we didnt want breading. Very unfortunate because last time we were there it was AMAZING. Probably wont go back

Many places advertise JUMBO wings but Mooses really delivers. We had them with the Guinness BBQ sauce and they were great. My wife had the greek salad which was a generous size and very tasty. Wonderful service. Located on the main street in downtown North Bay. Great food and good value.

Tried the Fa Moose wings on recommendations from the place of business where I am working in North Bay. I got 1 lb with Fat Boy sauce. The taste and flavour was honestly one of best Ive ever had and the wings were big but didnt have that old musty taste or anything. Excellent! I am incredibly picky on my wings. I ordered with a basket of sweet potato fries. While the fries were decent, whats keeping this from a 5 star is 1) I asked before I left if a sauce of some sort was included. Was told yes. No sauce in the bag. The bag is stapled shut so not like I can check. 2) I paid $2 more aprx for basket instead of side of fries. Even on the chow now receipt it stateside sweet potato yet I paid for basket. I didnt feel like there was any extra in a small container. I couldve saved the 2 bucks. Otherwise, the wings are incredible and definitely worth trying again let alone something else.

So myself husband sister and brother in law went there Friday for supper and I cannot say how unimpressed I was right from the start. Our waitress was training someone (and in all honesty she didnt know what she was doing let alone train another person) she asked us what we would like to drink we gave our order. My sister In law asked for a black Russian. So off went our waitress. 10 mins later she get our drinks but asked my sister in law what was in a black russian(shouldnt you already know??) So off again waiting yet another 10 mins to come back to tell us she didnt have the stuff to make the black Russian. Okay.. so she gets a Shot of tequila another 10 min wait. Once she brings the shot we ordered. Everything is order great right. Cool we wait for our food almost 40 mins. Food comes and we started eating until I looked at my wings. I got garlic parmesan and they were drowning in sauce, like watered down sauce. The guy that serves us was walking by my brother in law said excuse me but is this how my sister in laws wings should look. He was embarrassed he said oh my no they should not they are absolutely horrible looking. The waitress didnt even come check on us at all. Not once. The guy brought me a new batch of wings and apologized. When the waitress came once we were done eating and asked we were. My brother in law said I hope you didnt get in trouble for the wings but they were not prepared correctly her response. Im just the waitress so its not my fault. Wow, nice. We have been there many times and always had excellent service and food was amazing that night both service and food was not enjoyable at all. Probably wont be going back.

Food was pretty good but our waitresses never came to our table once to check on us. She was rude and cold until she brought the check. The wait time was about an hour from when we ordered. Also, the burger said real cheddar cheese on the menu but it was kraft singles lol. Picture below.

Amazing service and good food!

First time back in probably 15 years and 3 kids later, just for the nostalgia. For a Monday night it was fine for a family atmosphere. Lots of screens to watch the different games, and discount apps to boot. Staff were great. Didn t bother asking about the $20 gallons of beer as that s probably not a thing anymore. A North Bay landmark.

Great food and atmosphere, good selection of beers on tap. Some of the best wings we have had. Service was also good. Enjoyed my first visit 21 years ago and had a fantastic experience on this visit.

Worst.service.ever. So, my wife and I took my mother in law out for dinner. Due to a minor mechanical issue at the restaurant we were going to go to (plumbing issue=emergency closure) we decided to give the moose a try. Big mistake. The staff were just standing around, not greeting anyone. A girl did approach and move us to a table....a half table. Good for drinks but not if you plan to order food. So, my wife asked if we could be re-seated. They ignored her. So, I asked. I explained the table size and that for 2 people itd be fine, more....no. So, they offered to seat us on the other side. But wed have to leave by 7:50 so they could clean the table as they had a group coming in. Bear in mind this was 6:45, and theyre notoriously slow for service. So chances are wed just get our food and have to leave. So, we left. And an old waitress.... blonde with (I think) glasses says thanks for coming enjoy your evening dripping with sarcasm. Nice This place used to be really good. Now.....no.

Its been a long time since Ive been to the Moose and honestly walking in felt like Ive always been there. Its clean, the staff are fantastic, its not loud even when packed and yeah....the wings are awesome!!

Had wonderful lunch on the back patio in the fall. Beautiful view, warm and cozy. Good was excellent and the service was amazing from beginning to end
