Love Jam Cafe Lonsdale! I always receive excellent service, love the nostalgic environment, and the family food favourites are the Charlie Bowl and the pancakes!

I look forward to visiting jam cafe whenever I am in town as it never disappoints! The most recent was to the newest location, Lonsdale. It always has such a warm feel as you enter and I was greeted right away by the friendly staff. I just love the food and most especially the bacon! I recommend Jam cafe to all my friends and family and they are always grateful for the experience .

Absolutely love Jam Cafe North Shore! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is consistently incredible. The menu is packed with creative brunch options, and every dish I ve tried has been delicious. The portions are generous I especially recommend the Fried Chicken Benny and the French Toast.

We live in the area and decided to make Jam Cafe our breakfast treat on our day off (weekday). We would go weekly to avoid weekend crowds and everything was great! Service was generally attentive and the food was okay. The last and final time we visited (Oct 2024), it was a negative experience so we wont be going back. We went in around 9 am on a weekday. It wasnt busy: 1 large table of 5 people and maybe 5 single diners scattered throughout the restaurant. It was just the two of us but the host sat us right beside the large table. It was so close that it felt really uncomfortable because of how empty the rest of the restaurant was and it was hard to hear each other being so close to the table of 5 and with the music. After a minute, we kindly asked to move, which the host was fine with, but then afterwards we were treated awkwardly for the remaining experience (shifty eyes, no smiling, not attentive, etc.). It was a weird/awkward vibe overall and made the experience less of a treat and more of an awkward outing. By the time we left, it still was not busy. As a result of that experience, we just opted to stop going there or recommending them to friends/family who come visit us. In this economy, we want to support workers and businesses that appreciate us as guests and try to make a positive and welcoming experience.

I had heard good things about this place and went for brunch with a friend. I ordered the veggie breakfast bowl which, based on the written description, I had envisioned as a combination of crispy hashbrowns, biscuits, sauteed veggies and fried eggs topped with some mushroom gravy. Well the only discernible items were the eggs, the rest of the bowl was somehow made to be literal slop. I m talking like a mushy hodgepodge of biscuit/hashbrowns/veggies/gravy all congealed into a textureless paste that was very unappealing. Like if you were to have thanksgiving dinner, and mixup the mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy into something your toothless granny could eat. At least the flavours were not terrible. But if I had wanted mush for breakfast I would have just ordered oatmeal instead.

Edit on the last review: The manager, Kevin, was very kind to email me back regarding my previous review of their pancakes. I was impressed that they offered to replaced my pancakes on my next dined-in. Not just replaced the pancakes, but they went extra mile. The hospitality of the team , as always, is awesome. We will definitely come back, like we always do! Previous review: We came in on Sunday morning for brunch. We took the pancakes to go for my breakfast today. The top parts were cooked nicely, but when i checked the bottoms of the pancakes, they were BURNED. Pancakes were inedible i had to throw it away. Really sucks to eat burned pancakes.

Ordered the Omelette and was looking forward to it but was a bit disappointed. The Omelette was a bit too runny and lacked a lot of taste. The portions were huge but not what I was expecting. My partner felt the same. We sat at the bar and the service was lackluster. Overall okay, but expensive for okay - we ended up paying just over $80 for breakfast without any alcohol.

I got the friend chicken benny, and the whole dish, especially the chicken and hashbrown, was cold...definitely not made to order and probably microwaved since some parts were a bit warmer. I told the server, and they made me a new one. We also got the pork belly benny, which was OK. Id had better ones before, so its not the best. We also got the cinnamon bun pancakes that were good. I had acid refluxes the whole day, so that tells me something about food quality. There were 2 servers who checked on us back to back and asked the exact same questions, so it was a bit confusing and just too many check-ins! Overall, I think the food was overpriced and overrated. I dont think we got the best food or service; I assume it was because we got there around 2:15 on a Sunday so it felt like everyone (servers and cooks) was just ready to wrap up and go home...I wouldve preferred if they told us they cant serve us rather than providing low-quality service and food.

Been to the Jam many times its always been great food but... this was my first time at the north van Lonsdale location was very disappointed in the food. The first thing was I ordered a vanilla latte and it came lukewarm. I ordered the full monty pancakes with 2 eggs sunny side up.The pancakes were so dense I could barely swallow them and the egg whites were runny. Very sad because I have ordered this many times and the pancakes are usually light and fluffy. The bill was $32.92 with out the tip and I was alone. NOT WORTH IT !!

Unlike other branches, t North Vancouver is very much unorganized. Our group of 4 adults and one 3 years old stayed more than an hour in line up although several other groups of 4 got their sits in less than 10 minutes max! I even brought it up that our kid is staying in the cold for more than an hour and they didnt care less! Please note Their tables are not fixed and they could move them together. They are definitely not family friendly and every much profit driven so they wont sit 5 people in a table for 6. Our table waiter Parham was excellent and very friendly. The food was good quality as other branches.

I don t like to write negative reviews, but this time I think Jam can make things a lot better at their Lonsdale location.

We have been many times Service is always marginal to poor Today asked for water to go with breakfast. When breakfast arrive asked for butter. Both never arrived. This has been a repeated event over several visits. The taste and quality of the food brings me back. Not the service.

It was a place to eat. There was a lot of sodium, but just grabbing a cup of coffee is a good idea. Eating there probably isnt.

My experience was incredibly disappointing. After waiting in line for almost two hours in the cold, we finally reached the front only to be met with rude and unhelpful staff. They simply shrugged and said, We re a busy place, with no effort to accommodate us. For a place that s known for its breakfast, it s hard to justify the wait for just sunny-side-up eggs and waffles. The staff didn t even attempt to make a table available for us, which left us feeling completely ignored. I won t be returning definitely not worth the hassle. Save your time and try somewhere else! So good! The portions are huge, and everything is delicious. We visited on a weekday and had no trouble getting a table, but be prepared for long lines on the weekends. It s definitely worth the wait. Everything was incredibly tasty, though the queue can be a bit overwhelming at times, so be prepared to wait.

Lovely place and fantastic brunch. I loved everything about Jam Cafe. I will definitely come back I had the Chicken Benny, which was fabulous. The coffee was great, too!

Rip-off for kids meal. $13 for one egg, one skinny sausage and 2 pcs sliced bread. Not even a few pieces of fruits or kids drink. I felt bad for my child, and my pocket. I get it nothing is cheap nowadays, but that was plain abuse. I should have read other reviews before coming here.

My favourite spot for brunch by far. Food and coffee delicious all the time. The menu is varied you have many options to choose from. I love Jam Cafe. Service has been decent the last couple times I ve been there, servers are really nice but it seems like they don t have enough staff at times and because of it they seem to be in a rush. When we visited Vancouver we went to this place four times!!!! Their french toast is perfection thick and fluffy, their pancakes are good too! Flying chicken and buffalo Benny are also top notch.

Went in on an early morning weekday, ordered and everything cool, after I got food wasn t checked on at all, no checking to see if water was refilled, had to get up myself and go look for it, asked for the bill, told the server cash, bill was 28 and they clearly saw me put 40 there, waited 5 minutes to see if they would come take care of the bill, nope, so I had to get up myself and take care of it myself, server sees me at bar and asks, didn t want change? Excuse me but asking me that makes me want to tip you ZERO and I am a decent tipper. Probably won t go back again.

I truly always enjoy the atmosphere and food here, and this visit was no exception in those regards. The food was, as always, delicious, and the ambiance remained warm and inviting. However, this time, the service fell short of expectations. We woke up so late for long weekend we asked if they still open or not they said yes still an hour though Upon arrival, our server informed us that the restaurant was closing soon in 10 min and hurried us to place our order, even though we still had an hour left we had been told by another one While we appreciated her giving us a heads-up, the service afterward felt rushed and inattentive. No one checked on our meal, and when I requested overcooked eggs, they initially brought sunny-side-up instead. Though they did correct the mistake, other issues persisted. Our coffee was never refilled, and when we asked for warm milk to go with it, we were given cold milk instead, which unfortunately made the coffee cold we did not touch and . When we inquired about getting a fresh cup, we were told that the coffee machine had already been cleaned, leaving us without a coffee we were rushed to go somewhere then we would spent time again to stop for coffee in JJ this time Despite these issues, I want to acknowledge Kevin for his respectful and proactive service. He noticed the problem and kindly took the coffee off our bill without us having to ask, which was a thoughtful gesture that we appreciated. While the service didn t meet the usual standards this time, I still love them for its amazing food and great atmosphere. I hope to see improvements in service on our next visit . I always support server buy leaving tips but does not mean I am always satisfied

I have nothing to say but get the banana-walnut pancake. It is the best thing I have ever had in my entire life and I m not a sweet guy for breakfast but this has me converted.

Good food, but the undisclosed 6% takeout fee left a bad taste in my mouth. We checked the menu after to see if wed missed the fee: $1.45 per main for their eco friendly packaging, ie. the same plastic/cardboard laminate boxes that everyone else uses. This did not match what we were charged. Also, it took 40 minutes for takeout when I was told 20 minutes on the phone. Its a decent restaurant, but not worth the fees and frustration.

Have been twice and both times were good. Staff are attentive. It gets busy on weekends after 10am. Wait isnt too bad if a party of 2. Anything bigger and be prepared to wait. Weve tried the Charlie bowl, veggie bowl, tatertot bowl and the Gravy Coops. All were very good and only the gravy coop was finished in the restaurant (all others were leftovers to go). Update, have also been back several more times, still good. Weve had the chicken and waffles and it was also good.

The atmosphere is amazing and I love the decor and the service was ok. It was very busy and we had a lot of trouble trying to get in. The waiting time was around 55 minutes but then again we came at the busiest time of the day. Service was decent as once we sat down on our table and ordered our food it arrived in around 10 - 15 minutes. The food itself on the other hand was not so great. I was ordered a pulled pork pancake and it was very disappointing. All the flavours incorporated did not go well together at all. The pancake had a slight sweet tinge which was utterly disgusting with the very sour beet roots. The fact that they over filled the dish with beet roots didn t help either. Although all of that was bad the worst part was the barbecue sauce. I don t even want to begin to explain how disgusting it was. If you ever come to this place I recommend to never order the pulled pork pancakes and I recommend the restaurant to completely take this dish off the menu.

Best eggs benny Ive had in a long time! I got the pork belly benny and it was perfect, crunchy and tender pork belly, the hollandaise and chimichurri sauce pairs perfectly with the richness of the meat and a nice sweet touch from the onion jam (I think). The hashbrowns have a nostalgic taste, very yummy!

We don t often go for brunch, mainly due to cost of living & because i generally refuse to queue on a weekend. We had some spare time on a weekday & popped in & the food was excellent. Huge portions, excellent value (we had to take some home) & the restaurant is spacious & comfortable. Great spot!

Have visited this location multiple times. Food is always fresh, delicious and very large portions. Service is good though occasionally the servers can be rushed due to the volume of people that come here. Always love when Hailey serves us, she is very attentive This pancake took 3 separate sittings to finish

The portion was generous and filling, the breakfast food tasty and thrilling, but my husband was giddy, so he hit the griddy, and at home had to deal with a grilling.

Visiting from Alaska and this restaurant was the highlight. We shared the fried chicken Benny, plain maple butter waffle, and the eggs in purgatory. All three items were phenomenal! The staff were great. We waited about half an hour outside and honestly, it s worth the wait! I ve never said that about any place. All the stars!! Will be back.

Excellent food. The veggie bowl was flavorful. Service was great and the atmosphere blew me away. The mucis was primarily R&B which was a beautiful surprise!! We walked on the seawalk afterwards. It is a great place and location I highly recommend.

Decent food and great service but with the virtual lineup apps that s available and many busy restaurants are using, why let your customers wait outside in the rain/heat for over an hour? Don t become their marketing tool, there are so many other good brunch restaurants in the area to choose from.

The food at this brunch restaurant is delicious, especially the eggs benedict. The flavors are authentic and the presentation is great. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. Overall, the food quality is high, and I would recommend it for the taste alone.

August- September 2023 If you are looking for a great brunch place, this is the place to go. Something for everyone and very filling. I have been here twice in four days while visiting friends in the area. We all tried something different and really enjoyed our meals. My husband really loved the flying buffalo sandwich with taters. Huevos Rancheros was the hit with our party. The old town breakfast, and the gravy coop were good but not what I would rave about too much. The lavender lemonade mimosa, retro mimosa, classic jam bacon caesar, and the shaft drinks were good. The mixed berry compote is very good on their biscuit or toast that they offer. Depending on the time and day, you could be waiting a bit to get a table. They do have a time limit from the time the party recieves their food before they will ask for their table and seats back, just cannot remember it, but it more than an hour. The smaller the group, the quicker you are able to get a seat. They will sit you at the bar or along the window to people watch, if those seats are available, and you do not mind. August 2024 Came back again as my husband wanted his flying Buffalo sandwich. So I decided to get the King Chicken Sandwich. I have to admit the sandwich was pretty good and very filling. I wasnt feeling it to have the buffalo sauce today, otherwise I would have tried it since my husband raves about it and the jam bacon caesar.

The food was good and the service was great. The food was served in timely manner and the server was friendly.

Place is really nice - the decor is something - lots of references, which is quite cool. Food was good BUT make sure to check with the waiters when they deliver your order. I ordered the meat me at little Italy - the meatballs was delicious but the tomato sauce was too much spicy and the menu does not say it. Other than that was a good experience. Price is fare.

Wonderful brunch.

We are not from BC but we stumbled across Jam Cafe while vacationing. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. The staff is incredibly friendly. We have eaten here multiple times and told our local family how great it is. You won t be disappointed!

Very good place to have brunch! They have a wide range of options and the staff was great. It gets busy on weekends so you would like to be there early.

I wish we had received better service today. Instead of making jokes / hand jokes with each other, could you please check the tables more often? Nobody came to ask if I wanted a coffee refill for 20 minutes. It wasn t even busy; most of the tables were empty. They took our order quickly, but after the food was served, there wasn t enough attention from the staff. I would prefer going to the Kitsilano location, even though its far from my place and has a long wait time. Im very sorry about this. I definitely did not receive the service I expected for the money I paid. Food was great as always.

We got the fried chicken Benny and cold smoked salmon Benny. The chicken was cold when it came out and it didn t seem like it was made to order but flavour and taste wise was good. The salmon ended up being super salty and incredibly fishy that left a bad taste in my mouth.

The presentation of the dishes was excellent, but unfortunately, the food was served cold and the service lacked attentiveness.

Awesome spot for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Always busy with lots of long lines. Get there early and be prepared to wait if you dont have a reservation. Parking: There is some free street parking but its quite often taken up by residents that can exceed the hourly limit. If you have an electric vehicle there are a couple of electric vehicle charging stations nearby but otherwise your best bet is to park somewhere far enough away and walk or to park in the paid lot next to the building.

Would love coming back for their bacon. Not crispy enough but still tastes good. Had the old town breakfast that comes with hash browns. I find the hash brown is too large at least a quarter of the plate. Brown crispy on the outside and lil blend on the inside. Love the interior of the cafe tho. Need more breakfast cafe like this in Lonsdale. Support the locals. Definitely return for their bacon, pancakes and possibly sausage.

The veggie bowl was to die for!! Service was efficient and overall an amazing spot for brunch

On a Sunday morning at 11 am the place had loud music and people were yelling at each other to have conversations. This is not a nice brunch spot, certainly not worth making a line for. Ive been here twice and the flavours are unremarkable, I prefer Oeb, Catch 122 or Blvd Bistro.

I recently visited this brunch spot and found it to have a great atmosphere with good vibes. However, the wait time on Sunday was quite long, which was a bit disappointing. The food was average and didnt particularly stand out, ( ordered poke belly benny and my friend ordered veggie bowel) and the noise level was rather high. On a positive note, the service was excellent and very attentive!

After a short queue, the food was absolutely delicious! I would like to try other meals next time I have the chance.

Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. But they need a virtual queue system / reservation system so you re free to explore lower Lonsdale while you wait for your turn instead of waiting in line.

Amazing service - well managed and great foods

I recently had a meal here and was pleasantly satisfied with my order, and the service. It was rather busy for a Monday morning so it slowed service slightly, but the server was fantastic and hustled for sure. The coffee was good and my meal The Later Tater Bowl was quite nice too, huge as well. I wasn t ready for the portions. I was hesitant with the price but I left stuffed and happy.

We wanted to try Jam for a while, but always were intimidated by long queues at other locations. At this place the queue was not that bad, but we still ended up waiting for 40 minutes in a rainy day for a 4 person table, 2 people were seated much faster in 10-15 mins. But, now I know why people are willing to wait the blue eggs benny is worth it, top 3 eggs Benedict I even tried and the best in Vancouver! The service was really fast and I got my drip coffee refreshed regularly. Amazing experience we will come back again to try something else

Really dumb / unfair seating rules.

Their service is aweful! I wanted my bill and had eye contact with 4-5 different servers. Everybody just pretended they didnt see me. I eventually stopped one of them. They look at the card machine to see how much I pay for the tip, didnt say Thank you after the payment. Their Avocado benedict has sour guacamole on it which I never tasted before in Mexico. It was weird taste. Will never visit there again.

While the ambiance and food was ok (nothing exceptional) but given the popularity/buzz, the staff seems to have a chip on their shoulders. They don t even let you be seated till the party is complete, even if you are willing to order on your party s behalf. If JAM want to impose such ridiculous rules, the least they can do is to explicitly write it on their website and other digital assets. They should also write it in their restaurants!

I go here often. Sometimes service can be better but that s with all casual places, some servers are better and some not as good. The food is awesome and the portions are even better. Keep it up Jam!

Pair it with any of their baked goods for a perfect start to your day. The service at Jam Cafe deserves a special mention. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure each visit is pleasant and memorable. Despite the usual morning rush, they manage to maintain a great level of service without compromising on the quality of food.

Have visited this location many times. Other than waiting to get in, service is great, food is absolutely delicious , and place is lively and loud. My brother ordered the apple cinnamon French toast, husband got the chicken and waffles, and I got the half size fried chicken Benny with tater tots (but Id highly recommend the hash browns that come with it). We all loved our meals and were full for the rest of the day!

A delightful spot for breakfast. Went on a sunny Saturday morning around 9 am and waited for about 5 minutes till we were seated. No crazy lineups like some people mentioned. Service was good. Food was familiar but with a bit of a fun twist. Delicious, good portions, priced fairly.

Finally had a chance to get to a Jam Cafe without a line up and it did NOT disappoint. Got one bowl and one Benedict and both had great taste! The Later Tater Bowl was excellent and we took half home as it was so much food. The smoked salmon and avocado was extra delicious with the addition of cream cheese. The hashbrowns are delicious and a new style that I haven t seen often. My only disappointment was that while my wife s tea came in a beautiful jam mug my Americano was in a cheap mug.

Had the Old Town breakfast with eggs easy over, sourdough toast, chicken apple sausage, and the amazing hash browns. Everything nice and hot, and the sausages and hash browns are so good! Eggs nicely cooked and the toast is great to catch the yoke. Cute space with fun knick knacks around the place, like road signs for places throughout BC

Tried Benedict, pancake, bowl and coffee. Everything tasted great. Waiting time is very long though during weekends.

Fried chicken benny, as well as the cinnamon French toast sticks, were excellent. Portion sizes are great and good value too. I ve had the pork belly benny at another Jam Cafe location Downtown and that was just as good. Service was top, drip regularly filled up - definitely a must try for breakfast or brunch if you re in or around Vancouver

The Jam is a very good choice if you re into breakfast/brunch. Solid food excellent & friendly service. I went to the one on Lonsdale recently and for some reason the coffee was awful - very strong - did the coffee change?

Service at the bar top was incredible! There s a good reason all the locations of Jam Cafe are always so busy; they keep it simple and consistent. I got a classic diner feel at the Lonsdale location with a bar top and some cool decor. The only thing I didn t like was the coffee. I take my coffee black and this one has that sour taste that I hate; you likely won t notice if you add creme and sugar.

Ordered the Avocado Eggs Benny - high quality ingredients - tasted great! Great service!

After a relatively long wait in line, due to a busy Saturday morning and a group of 6, we were seated by super friendly staff. Dishes all looked and tasted delicious, coffee was great and service was good. I can highly recommend this fantastic restaurant for your next brunch with friends and family. I will be back for sure!

Large portions, very tasty and reasonably priced meals. Enjoyed our time, noticed that the place was packed by the time we left. Very popular place to eat. Interesting items hanging on the walls.

Best breakfast around. The Buffalo blue eggs Benny. Couldnt be happier. Cool atmosphere aswell. Vintage and a pleasure to dine here !! Staff and food were top notch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Maybe the new location is working out the kinks, it took 35 min from my order to come. A bit long for a brunch place that wasnt busy. The food was quite good when it arrived.

Food was ok. Eggs were perfect, hash browns were different. My wife liked them, I thought they were awful, go figure. Service was slow but the place was incredibly busy and they seemed understaffed. Coffee was very good. Not a lot of space between tables, you will quickly get to know your neighbours.

I have been to the kits location, and it was amazing. Today, I went for a delightful brunch date with a perfect gentleman, and I have to say that I was not disappointed a single bit. The wait time was not bad. The service was exceptional, and the food was amazing, I ate every last bite of my chicken and waffles, the seasoning was on point, and was cooked to perfection. He had the fried chicken and French toast, and was thoroughly pleased with all of his first experience with jam. Thank you jam, you catered my amazing date with perfect food Much love

Great food but the worst service ever. Told us the wait is an hour long. After waiting an hour the host tells us sorry it s going to be longer, we didn t expect the guest to also order desert and she s pregnant so we need to be respectful . Like what are you trying to insinuate here other than you clearly don t have time management skills nor ability to set limit on visits.

Service and ambient was nice. Food was far from ideal! We had Huevos Rancheros and Avocado Toast for brunch. Both couldve been way better. The look was ok but the food was pretty much tasteless. From a place this crowded and with good ranking we had way better expectations.

This was our first time at the Jam Cafe, we heard amazing things about it and our expectations were high(given its popularity in Vancouver). The staff was amazing, our waiting time was less than 15 mitunes (not bad at all for a Sunday morning). The environment was nice, very family friendly and a lot of people. Our food took less than 10 minutes to be ready. But.... unfortunately the food was really bad! Portions are good, but it has a huge lack of flavour :( We were really disappointed about it. My wife ordered a coffee and it was probably the worst coffee I have ever tried, the food was.... really bad :( I am very sorry guys, I dont want to make you feel bad, but it was completely tasteless, I really want to give you 5 stars, but you need to improve the flavour.

We heard great things about this restaurant, but sadly food was totally tasteless, I ordered the avocado Benny and my husband the gravy coops, and no flavour at all in both, his fried chicken looked and tasted as if it was old and my coffee was also really really bad I bet there was someone new cooking because I don t get how the restaurant was packed with the food being so bad

We had lunch here with a large group of 10 people. The restaurant was very busy because long weekend. The restaurant staff and manager was vert nice to accommodate us eventhough it was hectic to do so. We had a great time! Food was great!

There was a slight wait 20 mins but as we were only two people we weren t waiting as long as other people. Food took some time to come but worth the wait.

Food was ok. Poor service, constantly needed to ask for basics from whoever walked by. Waiter was absent entire time. Unnecessary rude comments made by mgr, when asked about up-charges that we noticed on check.

We had breakfast here on Friday. The food was fantastic. I had the spicy Cailflower benny, and my friend had the Cherry Ricotta French toast. Our only constructive feedback is, it would be much better if you offered half orders of everything. We knew from the menu that the French toast was too big, but we couldnt order a half portion. In this day & age throwing food away is not something people want to see.

The Shirley temple is the best thing that ever existed in the universe and it was so amazing that I wanted to ask for more but my mom said no. Kid-friendliness: It had it s own kids menu and that is as kid friendly as it gets.

Really nice to see a great breakfast place with Lyft (who wasnt paying their staff) thankfully closing. Food quality is great with plenty of options, service is friendly but attentive and price is excellent. Like many breakfast/brunch places pay attention to the busy times as there can be quite the wait.

I had very high expectations for this spot, based on what I had heard; but it was just average! The do have kids menu, but kids meal (kids plate) is not appealing at all and looks like someone put some items on a plate in 3 seconds. The food taste ok. Nothing special. I didn t like their hash brown. Only the chicken was SO good. Also if you want to substitute some items on the menu almost anything has extra charge. For example if the kids wants to change meat to fruit it has extra charge, which I have seen in no other brunch spots! Kid-friendliness: Very poor kids menu

The Lonsdale location lives up to the legendary Jam Cafe food and service at the other locations! Went there for a lunch with a friend - great breakfast, lunch and all day options. Anything with the fried chicken is delicious and will definitely deliver! Our server (props Rachel!) could not have been more lovely. Pro tip - avoid the weekend lines and treat yourself on a weekday!! Parking: Limited street options - but a pay lot (reasonable) a half a block east.

Food was amazing. Got the chicken and waffles, chicken and french toast. Very flavorful. Service was also great. The wait was just way too long. We were a party of 6 and the host wrote us down. Our three friends went to the bike shop quick and the host crossed off their name without asking us. So then we had to wait an hour and 20 min to get seated....

Too loud. Too sweet. 4 different servers for 1 person with 1 meal ordered is excessive. Too long of a line-up. Too expensive.

Blown away by the service here! We had a little mishap and Kevin specifically was just amazing in dealing with the whole situation. We will be guests for life here.. food is fab but service set it apart!

Be prepared for very long wait times for your food. But, unfortunately, it just wasnt worth the wait: my food was very brand and oily. I think there are better brunch spots on the North Shore to try, but I hope this restaurant can step it up once they find their footing as they are still quite new.

My third time for brunch and the food was consistently great. I liked the homemade Jam jam. My omelette was scrumptious. The service was excellent and while we did wait; the wait was worth the wait.

Mediocre manufactured mass food. Terrible service, food is tasteless and under seasoned. The fired chicken is a disgrace and at 10 bucks for one thigh - it adds insult to injury. Appeasing the diner that doesn t care about quality. We miss Lift across the street already.

Finally had the chance to try this place out after hearing such great things. This was by far the best breakfast joint Ive gone to in all of Vancouver. The food is absolutely phenomenal and its completely worth waiting in line.

This restaurant offers a much cozier and warmer vibe than its Chinatown one. Around 11 o clock, I walked in and waited for my seat, which didnt take long. The servers were friendly and attentive! I ordered the Chicken & Waffle and the Enchilada Skillet. The waffle had a delightful crispiness, creating a perfect balance of salty and sweet. I recommend adding spicy sauce to enhance the buttery flavor. The skillet was pleasantly spicy, but quite enjoyable!

Our family came here for Sunday brunch. There was a 45 minute wait to be seated but it was worth the wait! Our older son had the Cinnamon Bun Pancakes which did indeed look like a cross between both dishes. It was a massive serving and he could only finish half. I had some and enjoyed it as I m a fan of both foods. Our younger son and my wife had the Blackstone Benny with Avacado on the side for one of them. They really enjoyed it! I had the mushroom frittata which was amazing! Very savoury and tasty as I love mushrooms. Both boys had milkshakes, which tasted great but were a little pricey at over $10 each. I had fresh juice and my wife had a coffee. Total bill for 4 adults was $120 including taxes. We d definitely come back here, but be prepared to wait a little as it is a very popular place. Was packed when we went there.

This is a really great breakfast or brunch place. The menu has sweet and savoury options with huge portions. Staff are friendly and accommodating, great with small kiddos! You will probably end up taking some of your plates home, we did. I have been to this location on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. I had a pork belly bunny and it was great

This place is worth the wait. The food not only looks great in its presentation but also tastes fantastic. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles, and it was a generously sized portion. The chicken itself was what truly made the dish outstanding. The strawberry milkshake, while not overly sweet, leaned more towards the milky side, which I really enjoyed.

This place is straight up delish! The Buffalo Blue Benny with fried chicken, blue cheese, creamy siracha and pickled cabbage (I know sounds weird) is MONEY! Service is typically pretty great as well and the coffee is good. Its not the cheapest place but its worth the wait and the price of admission IMO. Parking: Parking via a paid lot right next door or if you are lucky on Lonsdale or 1st.
