1925 Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver, BC V7M 2K2, Canada
Warm, relaxed place serving classic Indian dishes from masala to curries & samosas plus veggies.
This was our first dining out experience during our vacation to Vancouver and it did not disappoint! Food was delicious and the service was spectacular. Super nice family run business, everyone was very warm and welcoming, and the food came out fast. Highly recommend!
I ordered from a delivery service online and not knowing the spice level ordered medium. One of the dishes was far to spicy to eat. I called the restaurant directly and they prepared the dishes again in mild and delivered the order themselves very quickly. I was blown away by this level of service. Oh...and the food is awesome as well!! They have earned a new and loyal customer. I'd highly recommend Pawan's Indian Kitchen for the quality of the food and service.
I have my review for Chicken Biryani. No way near to Biryani .Their chef don’t even know the B of biryani . Plain yoghurt with black pepper on top is their Raita . They just mixed chicken rice . Disappointed .😔
The food was amazing. The pricing was fair. The service was very attentive. It was actually so good props to them
It would be 5 star but the goat curry was meh. Butter chicken, tandoori chicken and butter nan were 5 star!! Will come here again. I didn’t like choley in the thali. Lassi is awesome too.
Great food and family style atmosphere. We loved every part of our dish, but particularly the vegetable samosa and the palak paneer. Perfect spice level
I had the pleasure of dining at Pawan tonight, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I entered, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for a delightful meal. The menu offered a wide variety of traditional Indian dishes, each bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. I particularly enjoyed Channa Masala and veggie rice which was perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and vibrant, leaving a lasting impression. Moreover, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was top-notch. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate dietary preferences was commendable. Overall, my visit to exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a taste of authentic Indian cuisine served with warmth and hospitality.
I've been here twice, the first time was with friends and I came here again with my boyfriend. I ordered vegetable pakoras, garlic naan and baingan bharta which was great. My boyfriend ordered a lamb curry. The food is lovely, the service is good and good value for money. I will definitely be back.
Great food and service
Order take out often, the food is great and the staff are very friendly.
Always delicious, fresh, and hot food! Happy to support this business anytime. Wonderfully friendly delivery service is the icing on the cake.
Food was awesome,we ordered Paneer butter masala and Daal makhani..our fav was dal makhani it was too good.. Breads were tasty too ..Overall food was tasty , served hot and service was top notch.. will visit again on our next trip to Vancouver..
We have loved this place since it opened. The food is always high quality and absolutely delicious. Very friendly people as well. Very highly recommended!
Best Indian on the north shore (weve tried them all). Flavourful gravies with depth of flavour. Lots of meat in the curries! Great value for price as well Food : 5/5
Absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked
High quality food. Amazing flavor. They were too busy to make me Chai tea from scratch so I teased they owe me a tea but just goes to show how good the food is when a little place is that busy. My 2nd time there and wont be my last. Food
Vegetarian options: The best indian food on the north shore. Pakoras are so nummy.top notch all around Food
Great experience at this restaurant! The food is delicious, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Will come back!
Dont judge the book by its cover. The building and board sign are a little shabby on the outside. But the food inside is great. Definitely would come back. The vegtable pakora were crispy and yummy. The Mather panera and rice was fantastic. The Aloo tiki was perfect with the Manga lassi. The service was great. Very helpful and quick. Good job.
We came from Seattle to Vancouver for the long weekend, and our first stop was Pawan s Indian Kitchen. Amazing experience! Both the food and service were a perfect 10/10. The staff were incredibly friendly and even offered recommendations so our 10-month-old could enjoy the meal too. Highly recommend!
amazing quality of food, the butter chicken was delicious, the rice perfectly cooked, the naan perfectly seasoned. the main issue i had was the portioning of the chicken was very meager, there was plenty of sauce which i love but there was only about a single breasts worth of chicken in an entire order, which i needed to order rice and naan seperatly, most other restaurants include. dont get me wrong the food is amazing; but i was suprised by the scarcity and price of the food. the delivery driver was very nice and service was very prompt
In terms of vegan options, this is one of the best restaurants in North Vancouver. Pawans has an entire vegan menu with multiple curries, rice dishes, and sides. We were really pleased to see the menu list various breads as vegan - this can be really hard to find! Prices are fair considering the size of each dish and everything tasted very fresh and full of flavour. Id love to see a tofu or tempeh dish added to the menu, especially since tofu is so great at absorbing flavours from curries. Vegetarian options: Has a separate vegan menu which is great to see, so has lots of vegetarian / vegan dishes. One of the widest selections I have seen in this regard, but there could be some more interesting uses of tofu or tempeh added to the menu. Dietary restrictions: Great for vegans! They have a whole separate menu of vegan options.
I came from winnipeg to BC and found food is really good an tasty. Mango lassi was amazing. Matar paneer and tandoori roti was unltimate
It s an awful experience to order food from this place..they put lids of plastic containers in your food ..for these people there is no difference butter naan and garlic naan .. the worst customer service you can ever get is at Pawan s Indian kitchen. Reply to owners response I know plastic containers are used for takedowns Mr owner no restaurant puts lids in a container containing yoghurt ok ..lids are supposed to close the container and not comprise with food safety and Mr owner you really need to get your kitchen checked and ask your cooks what s difference between butter naan and garlic naan ..I ordered garlic naan and got butter naan 0 customer service worst restaurant ever
Yummy samosa!! Didn t like the chai tho
Delicious food. Great service. Reasonably priced.
Delicious food, highly recommended
I ve been ordering here for 9-10 years now and the quality and consistency has been exceptional at Pawan s. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants on the north shore. The portions are also nicely sized so I always have leftovers to enjoy or share. The staff are always very kind and efficient. Love this spot! Dietary restrictions: I have gluten, dairy, nut, and pea allergies and they ve always accommodated me without any issues.
Pawan s is my go-to for Indian food on the North Shore. I tried a neighboring Indian restaurant recently which reinforced to me that Pawan s is the best Indian restaurant on the North Shore. The Curry Chicken is absolutely amazing!
Very tasty Indian food at a fairly reasonable price. We love their Shahi paneer, veg Biryani and daal! Quick service, friendly staff, its a place we occasionally visit Food
We dined at Pawans during our recent trip to Vancouver. The first thing we felt was the friendly and personable service. Food was served quickly : it was nice and homely just what we wanted after a long flight from Sydney. It is a family owned and run restaurant and that comes through in their personal approach. In addition to good food we also had a great conversation and were very well informed about local attractions . Definitely recommend
Seems fine but the owner will ensure that each and every member of the party is ordering their food. In our case, only 2 of the 4 members of our party wanted to order as the other 2 had eaten elsewhere. They asked us to leave. Note that the restaurant was completely empty. Id understand if it was full but there was no one other than us. I suggest going to Indian Fusion next door if you dont want to be insulted or hassled. Edit in response to owner: Again, we were able to dine perfectly fine at India Fusion Grill next door. Most restaurants do not have a minimum order requirement. There is no cost to the restaurant just having 2 of the 4 people sitting there while the other dine when its empty.
Never been disappointed by Indian cuisine before. Tried chicken vindaloo and garlic naan and i am sorry to say it wasn t a pleasant experience. Not going again
Best Indian food and BEST samosas in North Van by farrrr! So glad to have found this place!
Had gone for a quick lunch. Honestly, the food tasted really bland. I ordered chai and it was literally water with brown colour, in spite of asking them prior if it was authentic masala chai. The chicken tikka masala was so really bad, the chicken tasted like metal (there s no better way to describe it tbh). The chaat papdi could use some chopped onions. Overall, not a pleasant experience regards the food but the server was kind. Probably wouldn t go here again.
UPDATE: Now, just 2 hours after eating at Pawans, I have heavy diarrhea. I suspect food poisoning. The heavy waiter was rude. I heard this voice from being me asking if everything was alright -- when I had my mouth full of food, despite there being only 3 other people in the restaurant. He could have waited or approached from in front of me which would have signalled to him that I had my mouth full of food. Then, later, he scared me by coming up behind me AGAIN to tell me the restaurant was closed. Each time, he approached me talked to me from over my left shoulder, forcing me to turn my head uncomfortably. Unprofessional and rude.
Accidentally downvoted them in skip as they said my order was delivered before it was. Food was delicious and reasonably priced!
Love this place eat in take out great meal everytime
It is our family go to restaurant for Indian food. We have always enjoyed friendly service and great food. Highly recommended. Food : 5/5
Great food, fresh, tasty plus great hospitality by Pawan. Dont miss it!
Ordered samosas to take to a dinner party last night and everyone enjoyed them so much, they did not stop commenting on them the entire evening. They all agreed that they were the best samosas they had ever had! The sauces were amazing too. Such a hit! Thank you. You now have 8 more loyal customers
Best Indian food in North Van! Staff, prices, food 10/10! Highly recommend the mango lassi.
Amazing staff, delicious food especially tandoori chicken and chicken tikka. Good quality and a good place to eat.
We were there for lunch, food was so delicious service was best. Will visit again and refer this restaurant. Thank you
Lamb Palak, rice, onion Naan, spinach Naan. Lovely as always, nice staff, good food!
Hidden gem of Indian restaurants. Thalis here are tasty and healthy. They have right portion size. Would update my review after trying other dishes.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are excellent and can be customized to your preferences. The quality and quantity of food are amazing. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Food
Those who have not been in this restaurant. Just to let you know their food is excellent and taste like traditional indian food from back home. Their service is phenomenal and staff was very friendly. I loved the mango lassi and my friend liked the Nimboo soda.
Great food and atmosphere specially out in North Vancouver.
We have been going here for over 6 years and always have been thrilled with our dining experience! I can t eat spicy food and they have always accommodated my taste buds! Very friendly staff! They deserve all the awards they have been getting every year!
Ate here tonight and like every time prior over the last 7 plus years, was blown away with the taste and quality.
the food was mediocre, the prices high for the quality and the funny thing is they charge you extra 2$ for an extra sauce (30g) not coming again Food : 3/5
It is okay place. Nothing great .
This is not an authentic Indian food restaurant. People from other ethnicities could enjoy the food but not if you are an Indian. A Chinese member in our group also didnt find the food palatable, that says something. They seldom asked if we needed anything, like water or other spices like salt or even if the food was good? Like everything these days, restaurant is a bit over priced for what it offers. Will not here again. Toddler seat was not offered either!
The last waiter was knowledgable, helpful and attentive. My wife and I are both very impressed with how spotless the kitchen was. We make a point of looking when we go to a new place. Food was price reasonable especially considering the genre. Wheelchair accessibility: Although the parking is in the rear the entrance is on Lonsdale. Ground level, easy stoop to cross.
Their lunch specials are a good deal.
Hello!
I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and all I got was cubed chicken in a microwaved gravy. I tried this restaurant because of the good reviews but I am disappointed Total waste of money
Ordered a few take-out curries. The curries were pretty mediocre but the naan was decent
Excellent food, really tasty and good portions. Service friendly and prompt. Highly recommend
Just named the 20th best restaurant in Canada via Yelp. The best meals consistently. Authentic, great atmosphere and great staff.
The tandoori fish was watery , the fish itself and had no taste of any sort.. The order said it would come with rice and salad but we didn t get either of those. The goat curry description said it is cooked in spicy gravy but again it had an oily gravy with no rich flavour as promised. These 2 dishes are expensive. I am disappointed in the taste, the misleading description on the menu, and the quality of the delivery as it had missing items.
Great friendly service and a whole page of vegan menu! Quite a rare find. Very pleased with the quality of food too.
Ive been going to Pawans for several years now and it is hands down my favourite Indian restaurant in BC. The staff is always so friendly, the food is ridiculously delicious, and the price is very reasonable (especially for the portion size). They also have a separate vegan menu with vegan Naan. Amazing!! 10/10 highly recommend :)
Always a great meal. It seems the portions are larger take out but maybe its an optical illusion. My favorite Indian place on the North Shore.
Fish masala has no flavor. Pakoras had so much batter that one couldnt taste any vegetable inside. Dry. Not visiting again.
The staff were so friendly and the foods were so delicious.Specially the appetizer plater,Lamb curry and chicken tandoori.
We went here for Valentine s Day and it was a great experience. The staff were super nice and the food was delicious!
Went here with my friends after snowboarding - our server was amazing. thank you so much. the food was soooo good, this was our first time coming here so we didnt really know what to expect. Best Ras Malai ever
Great food and exceptional service! I will be coming back.
We came to Pawan s for dinner after a day of snowboarding and were blown away by the food. Growing up in Surrey and being Indian myself, I ve tried a lot of different Indian restaurants and this has to be one of the best for flavour. Each dish was fresh, the meat and seafood was cooked perfectly, and it didn t feel heavy. The lamb vindaloo was amazing! Everything was very authentic, and the service was great. We will definitely be coming back again! Thanks for a great experience!
I did not get to try the delicious food, the great value, friendly service, or cozy ambiance. Arrive at Pawans Kitchen after 11:30am even though the posted opening time is 11am.
My favourite Indian restaurant in North Vancouver.
Got a take out.. becoming a bit hit and miss. Essentially a tub of sauce with 35% (micro cubes of chicken buried underneath), makes this less and less value for money. Quality is reasonable but not great.
Only had a platter in appetizer. It was nice. They give free refills on tea which was nice and surprising.
I visited this place yesterday, i really enjoyed eating there, paneer tikka was really delicious and good quantity, staff was very humble and gave us great customer service. Would love to visit again.
Very disappointing experience. Based on the google reviews we thought this restaurant would offer some yummy dishes and we were wrong! The rice was undercooked and crunchy, the chicken was so rubbery it was inedible and the samosas were dripping in oil! I don t even know what was in the vegetable pakoras, but all I saw was batter which was gluey and hard. Barely any seasoning at all. Hard to enjoy any aspect of our meal besides the naan. Will go back to our other Indian restaurant next time.
We ve been long time customers of Pawan s Indian Kitchen. It is a true family affair with the whole family involved from making the food to serving the food. They are always super friendly, greet you with a smile and your food is always ready on time for pick up. Indian food is one of our favourite go-to s and we ve been too many Indian restaurants throughout the lower mainland. This place offers great value, great prices and is one of the best on the North Shore for delicious Indian food. Check out this local gem - you won t be disappointed. Vegetarian options: All the veggie options are delicious and lots of entree options. Parking: Free reserved parking behind the restaurant.
Vegetarian options: Love love their foods. And If you are vegetarian, they have lot of good yummy stuff for you. Don t miss it!
Food is priced well and the staff are very friendly.
Absolutely loved the food and the service. The portion of the food was great! Definitely recommend this place!! We had the pleasure of meeting Jordan (the restaurant owner), who was extremely polite, courteous and friendly. This family-run restaurant really makes you feel at home and their genuineness can be felt with how you re served and greeted. We ll be def coming more! Kudos to them! Thanks for having us.
Very tasty food for Very reasonable prices and excellent service at that!
Fish dishes are top notch
top quality food with delicious indian dishes.service are best in region
Overall good authentic Indian food and good customer service. They serve a lunch special 11-3pm during the week and 12-3pm on weekends with 7 vegetarian or non vegetarian items, which is a great value for the price and a good way to try out different things. The portions are more appropriate for an individual but they could be enough for two people that aren t too hungry as well.
Vegetarian options: Small number of veg dishes Wheelchair accessibility: Street level entrance and seating Food : 3/5 |
Always great food! Good variety, served piping hot, excellent quality and large portions. Family favourite!
Best Indian food in North Van in my opinion. The palak paneer tastes just as it should.
Their food taste good no doubt in that. But their customer service is worst. Their employees doesn t even know how to behave with customers. If this would be the only Indian restaurant in North Vancouver, i would travel all the way to surrey for Indian food. Good luck with the polite behaviour if you are picking up your food from them.
Everything was best
Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants me and my wife have tried. Food made with love
Best veg thali at a great price, in north vancouver along with extremely polite and nice staff.
Great taste !! Best part of the restaurant is they didn t use pre made sauce in Shai paneer it felt like fresh quality of the dishes are way better then other places .except presentation everything good !!garlic naan not so great !!
An Indian restaurant with affordable prices. Thali at only $18 The food and service is good. Staff is helpful. Food
Best food I had in recent time. Very tasty, light and delicious
Great food, good service!
Excellent food and good prices
Amazing delicious food. Amazing naan bread too. Great price ! Vegetarian options: Great selection for Vegan and Vegetarian.
Great food! great service!
Try First time and quite good taste.
Amazing authentic Punjabi food! Loved their aloo tikki and kesari paneer tikka. The desserts gulab jamun and ras malai were mouth smacking as well!
We always order takeout from Pawans! Its always amazing! Tonight was no exception!! Thank you!!
Really great place. I went with my family. I ordered chicken tikka , daal and butter naan.. Its so delicious. It was nice cleaned. I will definetly recommend to my friends and other family members.
Best food in Vancouver..
Food was stale and tasteless.
If you re tuned in with good Indian food, you ll be disappointed. The tandoori chicken didn t look nor taste like it was cooked in a tandoor oven. The veggies served with the tandoori chicken were surprisingly tasty. The butter naan smelled plasticy for some odd reason and must ve been coated with vegetable oil as there was no butter flavor. The Dal Makhani was good. Not the best I ve ever had but not the worst either. Same with the chicken tikka masala. Butter paneer was extremely vinegary. Rice was rice. Mango lassi was good but didn t have a natural mango taste to it. Must be a pre-mixed blend they buy. Ambiance was nothing special. When the owner asked if everything was ok I nodded in agreement because that s all it was - just OK. Perhaps I m spoiled with all the high quality Indian food I ve had in Regina? Idk. I have yet to find places that surpass the quality & authenticity the Indian food in that city has to to offer. Kelowna, Toronto, Minneapolis, Florida and now Vancouver all seem to have sub par Indian food compared to Regina despite trying the most highly rated places in each city. I can t explain why. At any rate, I won t be coming back to this place but I wish them well
Found this place in 2018, my family s absolute favorite place to eat in Vancouver! We ate here once a week on average for the five years we lived here. The food is incredible, the family/owners are very kind, and the price is amazingly reasonable. Try everything in the menu, including the desserts!
I ordered chicken biryani and stuffed paratha. The parathas were good. Chicken biryani was fine but I felt it could be better. Staff is super friendly and nice. Service is fast and excellent. I would definitely go there again to try other dishes, and recommend it to my fiends. Parking: Better option is to park in London drugs parking or medical clinic parking, if it s free.
Their Non-Veg Thali is amazing. It had Rice, Tandoori chicken, Butter chicken, Naan, Chick peas curry, Raita - Curd, Dessert - Gulab Jamun. Prices are reasonable. I loved the taste and variety. Definitely a go to place North Indian Restaurant.
Great service and delicious food. Tried paneer and cucumber salad with naan. Everything was delicious!
Food to good my kids like it
Fresh food, hot and delicious. Definitely a hidden gem everyone needs to visit. Food
Nice find when you need that spicy hit on holiday in Vancouver. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Reasonable good Indian food.
My partner and I have been getting take out from here for over two years now. It s super yummy and big portions. We love the food so much that we usually get it a couple times a week. We always get the chicken curry and aloo gobi with rice and garlic naan. The guys that work there are awesome. Highly recommend making this your go to place!
Average Indian food, lots of sauce and pretty good flavour, but the meat was chopped into tiny pieces and there wasn t much of it. The garlic naan tasted like artificial garlic powder was spread on it, not good.
I would just like to thank the team at Pawan s Kitchen as yesterday I ordered from Ubereats for a biriyani as I was not well and wanted to have something spicy. The biriyani was 10/10 from the quality of the rice to how well cooked and flavourful the meat was. Big shoutout to the team there and a big thank you.
Don t let the outside sign fool you. This place is a gem!! Food is delicious. The naan was fresh and hot, just out of the oven!! Sooo good. Service was fast and nice.
Just ordered curry with another stew and I asked to add chicken! Usually when I order from other restaurants they use chicken breast but in here I just saw fat and skin in my stews! The bread also is not cooked!
Great lamp Curry!
Went for a quick lunch and ordered their chicken biryani. Honestly, I have NEVER had such a deplorable excuse for a biryani! As a person of Indian descent, and someone who can cook an absolutely awesome biryani, this was TERRIBLE! This was chicken curry topped with rice. It has absolutely nothing even remotely related to a Biryani. The guy tried to tell me it was tailored to their non-Indian palette which was 90%of their business. If that were true, folks don t know what they re eating - and I doubt that! ***re comment from the owner - great misinterpretation! You asked how it was, I gave you my honest opinion. Don t ask if you cannot accept it.
I tried their chicken biryaani .. and thats so delicious.. i am trying biryani after one year last time i tried it in india and i was missing that taste but here thats really good taste 9.5/10 with 5 stars .
This place is amazing! They had great service. Our food came out really quickly and they serve some of the best samosas I ve ever tried, all for an amazing price. We ll definitely be returning!
Average food.
Very tasty food and friendly service
It was really good experience here. Me and my friend visited twice. The food was really delicious. Must visit if you travel north Vancouver.
I just ordered Lamb Vindaloo. I am very disappointed. I see many good reviews here so maybe I got a dish that was off, but it was very watery and little flavour in either the lamb or the sauce. Not what I expect from a curry. This is my first order ever from here but I must say it was quite poor. Very disappointed.
An amazing meal, one of the best meals Ive had in a while. The staff is wonderful. So good this visit we had the lunch specials the veggie one & Buttered chicken. My favorite Indian restaurant. Indian food is so good. The ultimate comfort food.
This Indian restaurant located 1900 block of Lonsdale Ave, has moderately priced Indian cuisine clean friendly eating area, courteous helpful staff & good portioned tasty dishes. This is my 1st time ordering take away from this place pictured are Methi lamb curry & lamb Korma curry with Goose in the background.
Went to Pawans Indian Kitchen after seeing the Valentine lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge. My wife and I had the grilled meat platter, naan bread, and some vegetable pakoras. Reasonably priced and the food was great. We usually like spicy food. We ordered hot but medium would have suited us better. Our server was very friendly and attentive. When we are back in the neighbourhood we will be back.
This is our 2nd takeout order of their delicious Shahi Paneer and Karahi Chicken. We have other options where we live but the layers of flavor, richness of the sauces and intense spice smells don t even come close to Pawan s Indian Kitchen. The orders are large sized and plenty for leftovers the next day. Copious amounts of chicken, onion, and peppers are in the Karahi chicken and the Shahi has tons of paneer. We will def be back. Oh, yeah get the Vegetable Samosas also which are delicious w/ their red dipping sauce too!! We WILL be back
Friendly staff, excellent food, fast service. Our favourite place for Indian food on the Northshore!
This place will never disappoint anyone the flavours are authentic and the quality and quantity is great!
This place has been our go to for the best Indian cuisine since 2015. I have only good things to say <3
I visited this place today. The waiter/server was very rude and disrespectful. I just walked out without food. Its not worth going to such a place. There is another Indian food place next to it called Indian Fusion. It had good customer service and good
Awesome food and great staff. More like dhaba style :) Definitely try Bhindi.
Friendly staff, food was delicious and not to mention very good value. One of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver!
Best Indian food on the North Shore! Everything we ordered was authentic and flavourful. The portions were generous and the service was wonderful.
Delicious, homey, fresh tasting food. We loved the veggie Thali. Perfect portions and warm service. Palak Paneer has such a depth of flavor that it will erase all the terrible Palak Paneers in your life. This is a must-stop for us in North Van.
Best food in the North Vancouver. Authentic food taste as from India.
Absolutely great food! Good quantity and authentic Indian food. Will come back again for sure! Vegetarian options: Vegan
Delicious food, great value. We got the cucumber salad (fantastic), lunch special w/ 7 items, and vegetable korma. Only snapped one pic. All were very good. Service was exceptional. Definitely worth a try or 2 or 3.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options
Very friendly staff, delicious food. Lots of great vegetarian and vegan options. Definitely recommend visiting
Excellent food, wonderful service, generous portions. We have had Indian food many times in Ontario and this is as good as anywhere. And truly nice people! Thank you! Oh and the samosas and pakoras are way above average.
We came here for dinner, the place looks like its family run, the customer service provided was very good, very friendly people, the food was also delicious, and the premises looked clean, we will come back again for sure!
This is by far the best Indian restaurant in Vancouver! Great quality food and the Tandoori Chicken and Prawn Curry is excellent and cannot be matched in Vancouver.
We have been a few times, never disappointed. The service is fast and excellent and the flavor of the food is amazing! Prices are very reasonable as well. Highly recommend Indian Kitchen. Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious Vegan options.
One of our favourite restaurants when we come to North Vancouver. We always get great service, wonderful meals and very nice staff. Tonight our waiter suggested we kick it up a notch and order a bit hotter/spicier and the meal was awesome! Great place to dine in or takeaway.
Very good food excellent tasting Indian food in the Northshore
Amazing food and service. This is the best Indian food weve had in our stay in Vancouver and our waiter, Shivam, was very nice and accommodating.
Good food at a great price, comes out piping hot, very tasty, especially the lamb chops in the mixed grill.Large portions especially with take out.
Exelent portions and service! The Thali lumch special is very much worth it. Our experience was amazing and our server Shan was great with us and our kids. If youre thinking about Idian food; this is the place to go.
Pawan was very helpful and food was delicious!
Excellent food and excellent service. I wish this place could come back to Ontario with me.
Stopped in with my fiance as she was craving Indian and was blown away! The atmosphere was great! Our waiter Shan was absolutely phenomenal The naan was 10x better than what I get at home, I had to order a second basket! My paneer hating fiance absolutely DEVOURED their paneer pakora appetizers. Highly recommend. The butter chicken and Muttar Paneer were out of this world. If Im ever back in Vancouver, you can be absolutely sure Ill return!
We have been to many Indian restaurants, most recently a highly rated one in London, England. This was even more delicious than that one. Everything was incredibly an amazing mix of flavors. The service was excellent, and Shantanu, our server, was very attentive and helpful. We highly recommend Pawan s Indian Kitchen.
Absolutely delicious food at this restaurant. We were blown away with how amazing the lunch special was. We highly recommend going for the lunch special because they give you a ton of high quality food for 12 bucks. Waiter was very kind and offered to refill our water many times and apologized for minor delays. By far our favourite indian restaurant in the neighbourhood. Bravo!
Authentic north Indian food. Chana and Goat curry was great. Naan was very good
Amazing food and also servers are super nice. Came all the way from Calgary with my mum and enjoyed it!
Had great service and food. Price was reasonable too. Looking forward to coming again!
Tasty food and friendly staff. Will come again.
Very delicious food & nice employees
I know this is a tall statement but best Indian in North Van I ve tried so far. Amazing lamb dishes. Would give 6 stars if I could
The food was great. I went with a friend and order chicken tikka and fish tandoori with mild spiciness; honestly it tasted so good. Well, guess what I may come back again for another lunch. Good job guys
My hubby and I were supposed to go to another nearby Indian restaurant but they were closed at that time. We drove by Pawans Indian Kitchen and decided to go there. Theyre food was amazing and did not disappoint. We ordered their 2 lunch special and a mango lassi, they were delicious!
The most delicious Indian food I have ever had!! Highly recommend and the staff is amazing and so helpful!
Good food (tastes just as good as what you d get at a restaurant in India), good portions, fast service. Overall great experience, highly recommended:) thank you!!
Wonderful staff, very friendly. Best Indian cuisine on the North Shore hands down! I highly recommend.
Love this place, very yummy dishes & great lunch special, friendly staff
We were going to buy vegetables at Persia Foods on Lonsdale and we parked in front of this restaurant Pawan s Indian Kitchen when we came back from buying our vegetables we were placing them in the trunk and this fabulous smell from their restaurant caught our senses. So we went in and give it a try. Well, Chintan was absolutely amazing, he took over and brought us his best dishes and we were in heaven. This place is delicious and the staff is kind, knowledgeable and very helpful. You should try this place
Amazing food and great service. Would eat here every day!!
A whore! What a great meal!
I cant eat there food anymore. Butter Chicken. A staple and predictable order for take out. I cant afford to eat this anymore, because Id starve if I did. In the past Id get two meals out of some BC paired with Aloo Gobi, rice and garlic naan. The rice is still good, the naan is still great, the Aloo Gobi is still OK, but just less. The chicken in the butter chicken is a small selection of the unchewable with the unedible with some mystery cut of chicken that Im even thinking it might now be from the inside of the bird. (See photos) But not worth the price and not worth the lack of peace of mind wondering what it is. I do know that my dog isnt as picky as I am. But hell eat strange things when were out for walks. I give them 3 stars not 2 because of the rice and naan
Our Go-to-place for Indian food in Lower Lonsdale. Just love their butter chicken. Service is always nice.
I ordered Samosa. It was so oily and tasteless

The place was very clean. We ordered butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, vegetable pekora, and paneer pakora split between 4 people. It was great
Delicious, fresh food and exceptional service. So glad we came in for dinner. The restaurant was kid friendly and they happily catered to vegetarian and gluten free dietary restrictions.

This is the best Indian food in North Vancouver. We are regulars and we have tried all the other Indian restaurants and this one is by far the best. Great service. Good prices. Excellent food. Highly recommended.
