Warning. Sushi Bella is now advertising a discount for 5-star reviews—5% off your bill for inflated ratings. I’ve been coming to Sushi Bella for the last 5 years, but sadly, every visit has shown a noticeable deterioration in both food and service. They used to deliver exceptional meals with warm hospitality, but that’s no longer the case. During my recent visit, the service was just okay but felt distinctly unwelcoming. Near the end of our meal, the sushi chefs began arguing loudly, followed by slamming plates, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience. While the food itself was good, it took an unreasonably long time to arrive. Adding to the disappointment, the restaurant had a noticeable issue with fruit flies, which diminished the overall enjoyment. To top it off, prices have continued to climb without any visible improvements in quality. I truly love this place and want to see it thrive again, but recent experiences have left me hesitant to return. I hope management can address these issues and return Sushi Bella to its former glory.
Disappointing Experience at Sushi Bella We had dinner at Sushi Bella today, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The service was poor, and when I asked about the 5% discount for leaving a review, I was informed that it doesn't apply to the "All You Can Eat" option. However, there was no mention of this exception anywhere in the promotion or on the picture they provided. Additionally, the "All You Can Eat" menu had unexpected limitations. It's not truly "all you can eat," as there are restrictions on how much you can order, which wasn’t clearly communicated upfront.
Alright folks, buckle up because I’ve found the ultimate sushi spot in North Vancouver. This salmon donburi, priced at under $25, offers an abundance of freshness and flavor. Each bite is thick and bursting with freshness, making it worth every penny. Plus, the location is unbeatable, with the Lonsdale waterfront just down the road, you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset followed by a short stroll up the Lower Lonsdale hill for some incredible sushi. I highly recommend this place as the best bang for your buck, high-quality sushi spot in North Vancouver.
Meh. If you get all you can eat, they take very slow to prepare it. The sashimi is a lot if you get the max order and very large cuts. But the menu is very limited, for example no Philadelphia rolls and you get a limit to how much sashimi and other stuff you can order. The spicy salmon roll was also kinda mid, they had a sauce that I have never seen before. Ice cream was also not included and cost an extra dollar. A shame that this was one of the only AYCE places in vancouver because they really feel like taking you for granted. The customer service also could have been better. Just overall weird vibes from the start.
Had AYCE here for lunch at 37.99+tax. There were limits on sashimi (12 pieces max) but regardless of that, it was still filling. Menu isnt as large as expected but given that Vancouver doesnt do AYCE like Toronto, it was okay.
If you're from the GTA looking for an AYCE place, this is not it. Despite other people complaining about how their AYCE menu is limited, we decided to take a chance. Their spicy samon roll is slathered with Korean gochuchang sauce on top which doesn't taste good. It tastes like rice and gochuchang sauce - same with their hand roles. Their nigiri's come with SO MUCH rice, it's ridiculous. Their dynamite roll was made hastly, with lettuce in it?? Who puts lettuce in dynamite roll? And all the rolls were cut a different size. Their salmon sashimi had the skin left on it still, and their tuna was unbelievable unfresh. Food poisoning vibes - my poor friend. Their chicken teriyaki udon dish is a ketchup sauce. The only decent things on their menu was the chicken karage and shrimp and yam tempura. We couldn't finish the food and wasn't opposed to paying the fee for not finishing the food (though there was barely any left over) but wasn't expecting them to include our toddler in this fee too. I understand rules are rules, but let's use some common sense.
There are limitations on certain items for the All-You-can-eat menu. The instructions are quite not clear on your order. Both waitresses were also not very good about explaining later nor apologetic about being more clear. Anything with "spicy" in the name of the fish is not your traditional sashimi seasoning. It's a thicker and sweeter sauce. Think the sauce you would put in your bibimbop bowl. Although not terrible, but when you crave for spicy salmon - definitely you'll be in for a surprise. The appetizers came out very inconsistent. Some rounds the tempura came out with the dipping sauce. Our first round did not. Same with our fried tofu. Not awful but probably i would not come back. So many more places to still try.
Excellent food and wonderful presentation. Friendly staff but they have a very difficult time getting to delivery a bar order like a simple beer or Sake tasting flight, which was very good. Lastly I'll say they really need to cool their beer more. The draft wasn't cold or even cool. The bottled beer wasn't much better.
The food was very good. The three of us shared many different sushi rolls and some lovely tempura. The service was efficient and friendly. Street parking can be difficult.
The food was good. The service not so much. Slow, and forgot to put in our food order. Little attention from the server until we asked. Can t say we would come back. The food was good though
Excellent food and Jahidi gave us an amazing service.
Sashimi was not fresh
I had a bad experience at this place. The service was unbelievable slow for how busy it was. After seating it took 15plus minutes to take my order. Than another 20plus minutes for my simple 2 rolls to get to me. I ended up paying but skipping the tip. The food was good tho
The quality and consistency DO Not reflect the prices... Not sure what happened, but over the last few years the quality and consistency of this place has gone completely downhill. Things are often undercooked, extremely oily and rolls fall apart The only good thing I can say is that the Bento box is nice size for its price.
Came here to try the all you can eat option because my friend said it was good. The server then told me no, they stopped doing it despite my friend having been here the week before and them advertising it online.
Rip off and stupid price system. Food was horrible. Do not like this sunshine at all
They pick and choose who they serve AYCE to. Don t advertise if you re not going to pull through. When they rejected our request for AYCE, they said they don t offer whilst having a sign IN THE STORE advertising so.
Love the sushi - have been eating here for years - but for some reason in the past couple of years there is now way too loud terrible pop music cranking all the time. We will be enjoying takeout from now on!
Nice environment with the lovely food, and the staff are helpful too
I ordered a roll combo, but it didn t meet my expectations in terms of quality and taste. However, the price is good, so it s hard to complain about the quality at this price point. The service is excellent, and the vibe of the restaurant is fantastic.
Service was excellent, the staff is friendly and they check on your table often. The atmosphere was also great, super cozy! My partner and I did all you can eat, and for the first half of our experience it was just OK (though not worth the $50 per person we paid AT ALL). So I thought, Im from the GTA so Ive been very critical of the food in Vancouver (it sucks) since I moved and I wanted to keep a positive attitude for once. I was ready to give this place a generous 3 or 4 stars (by Vancouver standards) UNTIL we had the BC rolls. The BC rolls were one of the worst foods Ive eaten in my life. There was no salmon meat in it, just the skin. The rolls were also loose and kept falling apart everywhere. I dont know what sauce they put in it but it did NOT go well with the rest of the roll and borderline tasted horrible. My partner ended up taking the hit and finishing the BC rolls but he felt sick for the rest of the evening and still had fish scales stuck in his throat. Anyway, if you go, dont get the BC rolls. Everything else is average at best for the price.
Great fresh fish, great taste.
Good food
Used to be one of my favourite lunch venues, but in the last 6 years, prices went up and quality went down. Not worth it anymore.
Awesome food!
I had high expectations for this restaurant based on its reputation, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. To start, the service was extremely slow. We waited nearly 30 minutes just for someone to take our order, and it took over an hour for our food to arrive. When the food finally did arrive, it was lukewarm and lacked flavor. The steak I ordered was overcooked, despite requesting it medium-rare. The vegetables on the side were soggy, and the presentation was unappealing. In addition to the disappointing food, the atmosphere left much to be desired. The restaurant was noisy, and it was difficult to hold a conversation. To top it off, we found the staff to be unresponsive and indifferent to our concerns when we brought them up
Disappointing Experience at Sushi Bella I recently dined at Sushi Bella and, unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. The service was subpar, and when I inquired about the 5% discount offered for leaving a review, I was told it didn t apply to the All You Can Eat menu. This condition was not clearly stated in the promotional materials, which led to confusion and frustration. Additionally, the All You Can Eat menu came with limitations that were not made clear upfront. It is not truly all you can eat, as there are restrictions on the number of items you can order, which was misleading. Overall, clearer communication and better service would greatly improve the dining experience.
Amazing place! Great staff, friendly and very delicious! Thank you!
Excellent sushi and service!
Delicious sushi, great times, good buds. What more could you ask for?
The all You can eat ITS good.
Went here about 2 months ago with some family from out of town who wanted all you can eat. They told us they no longer do all you can eat so when there are reviews from a week ago saying the all you can eat was great no longer do I go here or tell others of this place
I have had various meals from Sushi Bella, both dine in and take out. Each experience has been extremely pleasant. Great food at very reasonable prices. Service has always been great with very friendly staff.
Fresh, beautiful presentation! Fantastic staff, always my first choice for Sushi in North Vancouver.
VERY satisfied. Great calue as in delicious food and generous portions. We are a party of 5 and chose a variety of sushi, sashimi, salad, California rolls, salad, etc. Everything fresh and delicious! Dietary restrictions: I am on keto diet so there were a number of great choices without rice
They offer an all-you-can-eat option for about $50 per person. It s best to start by ordering less than you think you can eat and then order more if you re still hungry. Some rolls weren t firm enough and tended to fall apart, but the taste was good, and the staff were friendly.
if i could give zero stars i would, this place denied me and my family service because my autistic child refused to eat sushi. we asked prior to be seated if we could bring pizza from another restaurant inside and at first we were told it was okay, but before ordering the manager came out and kicked us out.
Food is not bad. The service was really bad.
Always have excellent food here. Very nice that they offer more fusion dishes so there is lots of variety. Fave dishes are sashimi nacho, volcano roll, mango roll and Agedashi trio. Yummm!
Food is bad
Everything was great especially our server Rosie
Its a restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere, delicious food, and quick service.
Really enjoyed, thank you!!
Great vibes, tasty food!
I ate at this restaurant a couple months ago and got sick after eating here. Recounting this experience with my sister, she revealed she also has been sick from this restaurant along with a friend of hers. Do not eat here unless you want to get food poisoning.
Really enjoyed the food! We had all you can eat and it was delicious! The quality was great!
Good service, great food!
One of the best sushi places!!!!! We love your food and your service , thank you!
Great beef teriyaki and bulgogi dishes and fast service!
Sat outside, food was very good, actually enjoyed the Sushi Pizza quite a lot. Shrimp tempura was great. Sashimi was very fresh. Will recommend the place!
Delicious sushi, great portions, calming environment, perfect service. I really recommend it
Service is amazing!!! If you order all you can eat, the rice will be heavy so try to order chicken or beef terriyaki and eat it with half of rice from brick sushi. just a tip to avoid left over penalty This place is still rumored to be the worst. Dont ever go to All You Can It. Dont they put so much rice in it that its like a brick and tell you to pay if it smells? Even though All You Can It, they say theres a limit per person for things like sashimi and sushi, haha. The servers are really nice and good, so it seems like a good place to go. Dont go here. This place is the worst.
Great food and service. Nice ambiance .
Amazing food! Amazing service! Such a cute atmosphere. Will most definitely be back.
Excellent taste! Always fresh, Best sushi in great Vancouver!
Tuna Tataki Bowl is amazing!!!! Staff are lovely :)
Great food
ell bowls good and we enjoy the dinner here
We came to have dinner with family, and we didnt expect that it was going to be that GREAT. Food was delicious!
Delicious!
Presentation was stellar and quality even better. Worth the trip.
I like the food, but an hour and a half wait is inexcusable.
Honestly didnt think it was going to be that good, was just a close option... I was wrong! Sushi Bella exceeded my expectations. Ordered Calamari, tropical teriyaki beef rice bowl, assortment of rolls, and miso. All the food was on point, the rolls were great, fluffy and packed full, calamari was perfect combo of crispy and chewy, rice bowl was packed with flavor. Glad to have found a solid sushi place minutes from home. Highly recommend. Cannot comment on service or atmosphere, had take away.
We love coming to sushi bella. The food and service is always so good. recommend all sushi lovers to check this place in lonsdale
Good place, had the all the all you can eat. The decoration is really nice and the food was good. Nothing too special though.
Very satisfied with the quality!
Excellent sushi!! We had a great time!!
So many limitations for all you can eat even with a special need I asked for they said no, not recommended
Amazing food! Loved the wooden bowl. Beautiful presentation, very healthy.
So first of all, sushi bella has a very cute interior full of wood, brick, japanese lanterns, and neon lights. Its like being inside a japanese sushi boat with a chic neon look. Enjoyed the bella roll and the yam & avocado roll. Good vegaterian options. Will definitely come back and try.
The food was absolutely amazing! Its expensive but worth the price. Very slow service. Food
Gangster roll was delicious!
Tried AYCE. It was not bad.
Very friendly staff! And the food was delicious.
Fresh ingredients, good price vs amount. Note that they give you a 5% discount when you review them but only when you give them 5 stars. That s a bit disappointing so I lowered my rating.
I celebrated my friends baby daughters birthday here a few days ago on Saturday. This place is in North Vancouver, quite a drive from Vancouver downtown. You have to find parking around the area, but there are 2-hour free parking spots up the street. This restaurant offers all-you-can-eat, and we thought it would be fun to sample multiple types of dishes. It was my first all-you-can-eat experience since I moved to Canada. We made a reservation by phone on the same day. From the initial contact, the staff seemed unfriendly to me, but since it wasnt my party, I let it go. The food reviews looked good, so I trusted my fellow Google reviewers. Upon arrival, the place looked tiny, crowded, and smelly. The floors and overall atmosphere were not clean. When we said we wanted to do all-you-can-eat, the servers attitude became rigid, and she started listing all these rules and regulations, like having to finish everything and the number of pieces allowed. It felt weird. Their system for ordering all-you-can-eat is pen and paper, with rules that are not cited properly (or explained well) which is confusing, especially for a big table. The server had to help us with it. On the positive side, the food started arriving immediately after ordering. The food itself was good, tasted fresh(the sashimi) and I had no issues afterward. I was confused with the spicy sauces on some of it. it wasnt the regular type of spice. some rolls lookd a bit messy, but that is ok with me. If you want icecream you have to add $1 for vanilla and $ 9 for mango ( that is a bit much for a very small scoop of icecream btw). The chicken karaage was surprisingly made into a meatball and my friends told me it tasted inconsistent, sometimes like chicken and sometimes like pork, which was a problem for us, as we do not eat pork. So I still wonder what it was ). My problem was the attitude and the atmosphere of this place. They never cleared the table of plates, never brought extra napkins or water, though they did refill the tea. For an 18% gratuity imposed on tables of over six (the sixth person in our case was a 2-year-old), I expected at least some table cleaning. No smiles, and the staff, including the chefs, kept checking our table to see if we had finished everything. Next time you check on a table, please clean it too. Also, if you dont want to offer all-you-can-eat, dont offer it, but if you do, do it wholeheartedly. We left and said thank you and saluted the kitchen staff, who didnt even bother to reply. I guess they really didnt want us there. I know we had a toddler with us, but we managed her well, she was alwayssupervised and not allowed to scream etc. If they were disturbed by that, they should just say kids under a certain age are not allowed. Needless to say, even though the food was good, I go out for the experience, and this one wasnt a good one.
The food tasted really good and I like the atmosphere. We sit outside.
Food was great, service was great too!
Place was wonderful! Hidden gem! Sashimi was very large and filling. Definitely worth visiting!
Sashimi was so good and filling! Good bang for your buck. The sashimi pieces were really thick! Would go here again :)
really good food!
Great place for fresh sushi! Lots of options loaded with flavour! A must when visiting Lonsdale!
Fantastic!!!
Had a FABULOUS time at Bella Sushi with our friends and will absolutely come back again! Dietary restrictions: They were very upfront asking about dietary restrictions!
I loved it ! The food was amazing and I didn t think it was as expensive as I expected.
Food excellent. Large portions. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Nice place!
Excellent dishes & had a delicious cocktail
Nice experience, food was delicious. Great service!
Amazing sushi good price. Been coming for a few years. Great! Vegetarian options: Good Food : 5/5 |
Excellent flavours, cute decor and friendly staff :)
Excellent Japaness Restaurant at Lonsdale. Easy to find parking. Fantastic food and service. Will come back definitely.
Worst quality, everything was absolutely terrible and was not fresh at all. My friend and I couldn t even eat the food that s how bad it was. Highly not recommend. Food
I really love the black unagi
Great
Black unagi taste really good. Even my daughter is also love it.. recommended !!!
When you order tempura you expect it crispy, right? Isnt that the whole purpose?? So why would they submerge 80% of it into the soba? When you pull the soggy prawn out it is naked and some slurry mix is left in the tasteless soup. The waiter had nothing to say to that (would it have killed you to send ONE pc of tempura as an apology?). Everything else was mediocre, but shocked to see the sushi roll cut unevenly with one pc 2cm, the other 3. Hugely disapointing. Regret tipping.
Mediocre sushi at a very mediocre restaurant.
Food is delicious and service is great Vegetarian options: Tofu delicious Food : 5/5 |
The food was really good and the service prompt.
Great food and fast sevice!
Awesome sushi spot! They give you so much fish it s amazing. Prices 100% worth it
Everything was amazing! Good portion, good taste and good service
It was delicious
Incredible meal, exactly what was needed (: Vegetarian options: Delicious Parking: street
The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food is amazing! Five stars!!
Rude, illiterate, lack of emotion control, lack of management, weird menu, unpleasant eating environment Why do we go to restaurants? mainly because we are already hungry and we want to EAT! okay, great. no problem till here. Now imagine the menu is brought to you. You are in a sushi place, so some ingredients are unfamiliar or you just have a unique taste and you need to make sure the tuna or salmon is the type you always order, right? Great. Now imagine you try to add instructions to the order just because you always do at any other sushi place. Other places always easily provide that adjustment for us. Here? well, you gotta spend good amount of 6-8 minutes to explain raw salmon no smoked salmon, after lots of back and forth to the kitchen the waitress, came back to ask again regular salmon right? thats extra 5$! another 4 minutes spent to solve this unsolvable issue, until she said oh my english is not good :) well, too bad cause you are working in a food industry and imagine someone come with a certain allergy. Her lack of English skill can miss that and that can cause a disaster... Anyhow, the atmosphere also made us disgusted. They were carrying buckles of raw and dead fish behind us, and these things do stink! Next thing she brought our food after a looongg wait, we realized my order was wrong, and then at this point she obviously got angry, I think due her to lack of English skill, she was getting frustrated and decided its best to project that to us. The end result, we left without eating there, while being hungry and frustrated, and guess what no one apologized. She started making hand gestures to the chef and spoke in their own language and disrespected us to the best of her ability which made us really feel bad. Despite the fact that she didnt know how to be a professional server; fluent in English, she was very skillful in ruining our day( well partially), afterwards, we managed to go to a much nicer place and spent our money there while laughing at her hand gestures and their smelly restaurant). For gods sake, you are living in an English speaking country! thats the only unified language we all know, just learn this instead of expecting others to put up with your illiteracy, or dont work in such an environment, I cannot learn japanese or mandarin to go order a sushi, but the server can learn English, I mean, I guess! Anyhow, no one apologized and no manager showed up, waitress was shaking angrily. What a professional management and environment, eh?! Please dont go there, youd be disappointed cause they dont take responsibility for anything!
It s amazing! 10/10 fresh food
This place was way better before. All you can eat prices keep rising (became too expensive and not worth the service nor the food), music is too loud and the service is very slow.
The service was great and the food was great I enjoyed it ver much !!!!
Love the food here & the great atmosphere! Would recommend!
At Sushi Bella, I enjoyed delicious gyoza and beer, but what truly made my evening unforgettable was Ji, our server. Her warmth and exceptional service turned a good night into a fantastic one. Jis genuine care and recommendations were spot-on, making Sushi Bella a place I cant wait to visit again.
The food was amazing And the staff were nice Food
We have been going to this excellent restaurant for over a decade. The food is consistently delicious, well priced, well presented and well served. My only complaint is the green tea comes in a glass, reminiscent of a tooth brush mug. Previously it was in a nice teapot with cups. Don t let that put you off, it s a super place. Vegetarian options: Plenty.
Amazing! Best sushi place I ve been in North Vancouver. Generous portions and good quality of food, I ll come again
Get your sushi here.. well give it a try out and see for yourself
Food is great and large portions. One of my favorites.
Review pertains to All-You-Can-Eat only Greater Vancouver has seen less and less AYCE options over the past fews years and for good reason. There are many local sushi places offering good quality for moderate prices. Sushi Bella, while once an acceptable deal has deteriorated in quality. Price has gone up to now $40/pp for weekend lunch. Limitation has increased (9 sashimi/pp and now 3 tempura/pp). Nigiris rice ratio has ballooned and the sashimi youre being limited on come out the size of your pinky. At the price being offered youre better off taking the SeaBus and finding a table at Miku.
Our food was delicious but the miso soup was too salty and affected me and my friend. Until now, were both not feeling great.
Great Great Great Delicious! Food : 5/5 |
Excellent Ayce.
It was our first time here and the ambiance didnt disappoint. Good tasting and very well presented food.
amazing food + very affordable :)
My all time favourite sushi place! I love it here, so cute, amazing food, and great staff! 1000% recommend!
Love love love, great food and great service. Cute spot to take photos aswell! Definitely recommend
Ive been to the restaurant many times, the food is delicious, great atmosphere, and the staff is always polite and friendly. Highly recommended!
Very good food super fun atmosphere
Reasonable price and good quality food
Good food Vegetarian options: Have vegeterian options Food : 5/5 |
It was delicious we loved the bento box and ramen
High quality sushi w good service. Lots of fun rolls!
When the website says close at 10.30 pm, you don t expect to be told at 10 pm that you get 10 minutes to finish your meal. Showed it to the waitress and she explained that the 10.30 pm was for takeout. Dining room closed at 10. Didn t argue since I don t live in Vancouver, they might have different rules. I came in before 9.30 pm and no one explained that the place closed at 10 and no say about a takeout option. Ramen was okay, tempura was on the greasy side. There are many other choices on the same street, reason I chose the place was because it said closing at 10.30 pm
I had a great experience at Sushi Bella eating AYCE. The quality was fantastic and there was a good variety of cooked dishes, like chicken teriyaki and chicken karaage, along with raw sushi dishes like your classic sashimi and nigiri. Would definitely recommend if you re in the area and looking for a restaurant where you can eat to your heart s content! And to top it all off, you get vanilla ice cream, included in the AYCE, to cap off your night.
Great food. Almost too many options to choose from. We will be back!
It was disgusting sushi ever. You will get a BIG brick of rice with thin sliced sashimi. Rice was warm and fish was fishy. I refused to eat their sushi, thinking I will get a food poison for sure. Server told me they never got a complain about the taste LOL This restaurant hired bloggers from instagram and trying to scam customers. Quality was very poor and hope they were satifised making +$90 out me tonight. I had a one bite and didnt ate any. I bet they served my left over food to other table. I will never ever go back to this place. Grooosssssss
Great experience
good food
Great place. Highly recommend.
Lovely service and delicious food.
This is my favourite sushi spot in north van. I dont know why some people hate on it. Ive never tried the buffet, but the menu items are great and the service never fails.
Vegetarian options: There salads are fantastic Food
Delicious chicken teriyaki
Price too high; service did not match nor did food quality
Great for vegan sushi! My partner loves the wild salmon sashimi. Vegetarian options: Lloyd of vegetarian rolls and boxes to choose from. Food : 5/5 |
My fav. Sushi, chicken karage to die for. Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves it here Food : 5/5 |
Having heard some good reviews on the place, we have decided to check it out and we were quite disappointed from the AYCE menu. 1- Not only were the rice bigger than the fish, but the rice used in the nigiri sushi were not cooked evenly with some still hard to chew. 2 - The sashimi were very thinly cut (close to the size that you get from their nigiri). The limit was 3 orders per person (with each order being 3 pieces). Its a nice idea to set limits BUT not so good to cut the sashimi thinly. 3 - The miso and the tea provided were warm so unless we drink it right away, the soup would get too cold to drink. Overall the expereince was not good and definitely does not feel like we were served with the same food as the instagramers who posted about their AYCE menu.
Good food, good price!
Favourite sushi in North Vancouver!
The food was amazing, Nice environment and friendly staff.
The food was great, and we really appreciated that they didnt charge us the $10 fee for the one bite of rice leftover from my roll
I love it , great food and service
It was good. All you can eat is more than enough. Lots of rules! And you better stick to it. Our server was cute. lol
A bit pricey but good consistent sushi!
Food was very food
food ia not fresh that much and too salty. still shabusen is my favorite place Food
Great rolls and a nice environment !
Great lunch special- so filling.. very friendly staff!
Very good food and friendly staff!
Very good quality and very testy food
Husband and I brought 3 kids here to have lunch on Saturday. We ordered 6 dishes. We waited 25 mins and 2 soup noodle arrived. We continued to wait further 15 minutes and asked the waitress how long to wait for another 4 dishes. The waitress said it takes turn to make food for the bar tabls and normal tables. So she did not answer my question just asked me to wait. We have wait for 45 minutes in total and still got no food for myself, husband and one of my kids. This restaurant does not have enough chefs. If you go for ALL YOU CAN EAT within 1.5 hours, I guarantee it takes a looooong time to wait and probably you only got 2 rounds to order
Thank you!
My favourite sushi spot in North Van.
Loved it here!!! Vegetarian options: Great Food : 5/5 |
Favourite sushi spot in north van!
Easily the best place to get sushi. I cant decide what to pick every time I go there. The selection of rolls.
I ve heard of Bella Sushi since it s time in Kitsilano. First time being there and at their North Vancouver location for some nigiri. Super fresh and the rice was amazing.
High quality food at reasonable prices! The atmosphere is relaxing as well.
Love Sushi Bella. Great neighborhood sushi restaurant in Lower Lonsdale
Really cute spot and great food! Love the bentos.
Nice foods delicious good service.
Its really delicious!
love the food, surely come back!! Parking: bello Food : 5/5 |
It would be
This is my favourite sushi place. You must try the Miso Ramen with tofu - its to die for!!
Fantastic food and service.
I rarely give bad reviews, but this experience was something else...My wife and I came in at around 2:30 pm on a Sunday, there was a 4 person table available but we were led to a smaller table at the back area by our server, which I didnt mind in the first place. But just before we sat down, the server told us the back area will close at 3 and we need to finish eating by 3... I dont even think McDonalds limit their customer to a 30 minute meal time, and why would you lead your customer to a spot that you plan to close in 30 minutes in the first place??? I asked her if we can sit somewhere else thats not closing, she literally rolled her eyes at me, led us to the 4 person table, threw the menu on the table and just left... This experience was so bad and I dont even understand what she was pissed off at??? Maybe we took a 4 person spot while being a party of 2?? I dont even know lol. We didnt bother eating there with that kind of attitude so no comment on the food. But damn that was probably the worst experience Ive had at a restaurant for a longgg time.
Upon entry we were greeted by a very nice and friendly server..the food was super fine..and the server was very attentive..we live close by the restaurant and will go a lot more
Creative and delicious.
Sushi was great!
Delicious food and awesome service.
Great presentation, service and food

Great quality ingredients, delicious flavour and cute presentation!!
Amazing food high quality
Delicious food, loved that they added some sliced onion to the Spicy Tuna Chunk Sahimi Salad! My daughter also enjoyed her rolls (Avo & dynamite) very fresh!
Very good service with kind notice of dietary restrictions, the sashimi bowl are fresh to go and appropriate amount to have for dinner. Will revisit next time when in North Vancouver!
Today we went to the restaurant with our family. My group consists of 4 adults & 3 children, we use all you can eat. We went to Bella restaurant for the 3rd time. We are very satisfied . Until today when I ordered dessert ( ice cream ) . we ordered 3 servings . and then I ordered 3 more portions. The staff of the restaurant has a very deceitful attitude . when they bring ice cream they throw ice cream on our table & say our meal children cant use ice cream ???? Why ? We still have to pay & the restaurant is (all you can eat) so why only how many parts of ice cream the restaurants staff attitude to us?
Volcano Sushi pizza is great
Excellent!
