Their pasta is so good, I drive out of my way to pick up some yummy pasta!

Very dry, mostly pasta with few other ingredients. The flavour was a bit bland.

Maybe pasta is their thing but two salads we just had were quite shameful - $16 worth of chopped salad leaves and one slice of dry bread which stood for croutons in their Caesar. Yellow beets salad wasn t much better - had maybe half of a beet in the whole full size plate, I wonder what the half portion is

Tried for lunch first time today. All around amazing. Had roasted chicken sandwich & side tomato soup. Really nice service & the food was really delicious. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for for sure. Will be back with the family.

Love their food. I only wish they would open their cozy dining room to customers again.

Absolutely horrible

My first time getting food from ingrain Pastificio and definitely not my last. It was delicious. Soup, salad and toasted bread with olive oil and balsamic. Picked up a couple of items from the shop too. I ll try the pasta next time

Small place but food is delicious

Always great food and service. Paris went above and beyond my expectations for service. The beet salad is the best.

The food is absolutely wonderful. Gourmet and original. We really love the avocado chickpea toast, the soup, and so many of the pastas. Only suggestion is to use a little less packaging. Tendency to use two containers where one could be used.

The pasta in Bc just like Italy and the staff is very cool as well

I had excellent pasta from here. The service was quick and friendly and is in a great location.

Expensive but delicious. Pasta mac n beef - a creamy cheese sauce with a beef version of pulled pork in top. Pasta seafood spin - not incredible, but a lighter sauce and good amount of seafood. Sandwich pear and swiss - kids loved it. Salad beets - tasty. Total was $68 after tax.

Delicious , hopefully they open for dining in sooner rather than later

The best pasta in town (which is also served at the Arms Reach), fresh, homemade and delicious. Family style portions are great for sharing. Highly recommended!

Nov 11, 2022 - Ordered the mac and beef and the spelt spinners. We ordered online for delivery and requested no parsley garnish on the mac and beef. The mac and beef still came with a parsley garnish. The food was good otherwise, if you like parsley. But we dont, so that was disappointing.

Perfect pasta every time. Love ordering take out or getting their dried pasta and frozen sauce to make at home on my own. Always a greatg dinner.

Ordered for pickup, fairly late. Pickup time was 7:15. Chicken parm was half burned, the Mac and beef was hardly any beef. Felt like we got the dregs of the day because it was late. Too expensive for what it was.

Pretty good little pasta spot. Needs to be open later though - who closes at 8pm?

Just stopped for lunch. BEST tomato coconut soup and chicken sandwich weve ever had. Worth seeking out! Lovely service and we brought dinners home for several meals. Great prices. Well We back soon

Updating this 3 years later - the stars remain but now I can add a description. InGrain is an amazing restaurant! They are always accommodating! The food is always top notch! Highly recommend for anyone who wants to find a local business to support. For those who are vegan: try the penne pancetta and ask them to veganize it. I always add mushrooms & extra garlic and it is *chefs kiss* exceptionally delicious! They make their pasta in house too! Thank you so much for all the delicious food! Would love to see more vegan options come to the menu but for now, I will continue veganizing current options. :)

Great pasta, good value! Generous portions, perfectly al dente with tasty creative sauces. Perfect takeout food, unfortunately due to the Pandemic the indoor seating area remains closed. A cozy little table has been set for guests to enjoy dishes outside the shop. Be sure to pickup a bag of the in-house made/dried pasta and make your perfect custom dish at home.

Food was delicious! Daily specials are amazing. Service was a little slow but it is difficult to find employees at this time.

A local favorite place. In a world of fast food and sandwiches. In Grain is pasta! Good pasta fresh and yummy. They have a bunch of options you can choose from. Lots of parking and great for kids. Bambino pasta has been my kids fav for years. I love braised beef Mac and the spelt spinners. Heck, everything is good. Nice people. Great service.

Superb take out dinner tonight from InGrain Pastificio. The beet salad and sea shell seafood pasta were absolutely delicious. Very inexpensive considering the fresh ingredients and portions. We all need to support our local restaurants...they are there for us and we need to be there for them. Highly recommended.

The best place for pasta on the North Shore! I love the Mac and beef pasta, but get it with no beef because I don t eat meat. It is so good and still has a lot of good flavour. The artichoke toast and olives are also amazing.

Love this place and they always make my meal vegan without a fuss. Highly recommended.

Just purchased some dry pasta in burnaby safeway, its expensive for the quantity. But the quality of the taste and texture once prepared..hands down best pasta Ive ever prepared..from dry! Great job guys, well done..

Although their exceptional pasta is available in a lot of local grocery stores now, youd be missing out not to stop by their actual storefront. A hidden gem in North Vancouver, they have a quaint little restaurant inside that serves delicious salads and pasta dishes. Although theyve stopped indoor dining at the moment (due to covid) they are still doing takeout and its the perfect comfort food for these cooler months.

Got lunch here (take out) after hiking dog mountain trail and let me tell you their roasted chicken sandwich may be the best chicken sandwich Ive ever had. The bread is amazing! Almost went to a&w but Im so happy I went here instead. This place is tucked away in North Van but if youre in the area definitely check it out!

A little small and very popular. The food is SO good! Charming staff. Very fun decor. They should lose the TV. The menu is not extensive, but whats on it is scrumptious.

The pastas are great! If you suffer from any gluten sensitivities I would recommend the gluten free option. The reason for the 4 star is you feel a bit cramped in there due to the space. The staff are consistent.

The Mac & Beef is a must try!

We take our kids here after going for a hike. They love the mac and cheese pasta dish. There are also these great kids games ready to play on the tables that keeps them entertained.

Always a great meal here. Usually go for dinner but this time a friend and I popped in for lunch. Had the soup and sandwich special and it was delicious. Also $11 so a really great deal. Love all the pasta dishes they do here as well. Such an awesome local restaurant!! You should check it out if you havent already. Plus a nice little kids menu. Bonus!

Absolutely delicious. Fresh everything. Pasta cooked perfectly and dishes full of flavour. They are also very patient with toddlers. Great little gem.

Wow. The Seafood Ziti and Beef Mac N Cheese were spectacularly delicious. Add a meatball starter and youll feel the need to start learning Italian.

I hesitate giving a review for one of our favorite secret neighborhood spots, in fear that it becomes too popular! The pasta is divine. I love the feel of the space. And wine in a water glass just seems oh-so right! I highly recommend it, (except I want you to ignore this review so that it doesnt get too busy!)

My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. I was looking for a deli sandwich when we came across this restaurant. Well what a pleasant surprise, they make all there own pasta. My wife had pasta and I had a soup and sandwich, they both were very satisfying and tasty. The service was very good and the price was very reasonable. Well go back again when we are in the neighborhood.

Best pasta in North Van (if not the whole Greater Vancouver area).

The food here is good, however the Staff and space are not accommodating to families. They only have one high chair for the entire restaurant and today when we went, there was only three tables filled but we had to leave and eat elsewhere as our 18month old toddler had nowwhere to sit. The staff made very little effort to help with a solution when we even brought or own attachable table clamp chair. Unfortunately we wont be going back as we cant risk hungry children and the one high chair being occupied. Very disappointing.

This place is what quality food is about. I loved that they had spelt pasta. Few restaurants would even have a whole grain option. They use kale in the salad rather than boring mixed greens bags from Costco. Their Mac and cheese has real cheese strands rather than cheese sauce. Also tried their sandwiches which are done panini style. While delicious, I m glad I got it with the soup as the sandwich itself is a smaller portion (it s a square sized ciabatta ). Keep it up! I love your style! Reminds me of the quality of food during a recent visit to Copenhagen- healthy, wholesome and delicious!

Is hidden gem to much of a cliche? Not sure, but this place is amazing. Each of my 10 meals there have been top notch. And take-out is also a good way to go. I think they should add Chinotto though... but even with no Chinotto, it still warrants 5 stars

Delicious food, incredible service, and the decor is beautiful. However, slightly overpriced, and if you want a coke, get ready for a 7$ bottle of Artisan Cola Overall, great restaurant.

The staff is really friendly and their food selection and quality is really good. Its fresh, tasty and the presentation is nice. They have a great selection of happy hour wine by the glass and their food is very reasonably priced - a really good deal. Id definitely come here again.

Amazing food! Definitely on the expensive side, but in this case, worth every penny!

People that arrived 15 minutes after us had their order taken and food delivered before anyone took our order. Staff was having a great time chatting and laughing while we sat and waited. And waited. We were just about to leave after 45 minutes and someone finally decided to ask if we wanted to order food - shocking, that someone would wait at a restaurant for 45 minutes and not want to order food... Eventually, food was good, as usual, but that terrible service is enough reason to stay away. No one even asked to take a drink order at any time.

Really helpful and kind front of house staff, food is delicious! Great pasta options and a lovely soup of the day and sandwich combo make this a great place for anything from casual dining to a romantic date night out. Another awesome feature is they make their own pasta (how cool is that, very homey and you know its healthy). Definitely one of my new regular places to eat.

After 5 years of living on the North Shore, I was recently told about Ingrain, and wow, was I late the party! My friend and I ordered two pastas so we could sample each others, after the first bite I was hooked! They make thier pastas in house with the freshest ingredients around. We had the Mac & Beef and the Durum Vesuvio dishes. The Mac & Beef was definitely our favorite and one of the best pastas Ive had! The environment is really relaxing and has cozy warm feeling to it. Check them out in Deep Cove!

We didnt expect highest quality pasta at this place! Tasteful interior, somewhat small but not too loud. Very attentive and polite waitresses. Our food was served in less than 15 minutes. Very reasonable prices for pasta (around 10-16 CAD). The pasta itself is homemade, sauce variations were rather uncommon but exceptionally good.

Gourmet homemade pasta! I recommend the artichoke toast to start, and the Mac & Beef for the entree.

Weve been going to this restaurant since it opened, but the last two times weve been our appetizers arrive at the same time as our mains. We really hate this! Being presented with all of your order at the same time is a No No. It just puts me right off. This would never happen in Italy. Please stop. It makes you feel rushed and puts you off eating altogether.
