If you read my reviews or follow my favorites in google, my favorite foods are Kebabs & Burgers , and I tried almost every burger in the area! This "Shipyard Burger" is "THE BEST", "BY TASTE" ! Juicy &Delicious without adding any more sauce! Try it ! You'll realize why I'm suggesting it !!! They offer it with or without fries or salad, you can choose if you want to order fries or not... Nice & cool staff 👌(Dog friendly)
Omg I can’t say enough good things. The burger was beyond amazing! The fries were soo good great crunch. The service was wonderful getting to meet the owner and let him know how happy we were!! Can’t wait to come back

Wow! Being a former Lolo local I can safely say that I've eaten at nearly every restaurant in the area, an expensive and delicious adventure to say the least. The service, these are some darn good people that deserve your business. They care and their food and establishment speaks loudly to their commitment. Friendly and welcoming. The restaurant, CLEAN! Like spotless clean. Between their kitchen area and service area the place is spotless. Well done! The food, expensive and worth it! I am willing to pay any amount to eat the best food that is available to me. The ingredients are the pinnacle of fresh, the quality exceptional. In the top list of best tasting smash burgers I've had, and I've had a lot 😅 I had my go to burger spot, known for massive food and amusingly bad service (part of its charm) at a similar price point... I will come to Carpe hands down every time I'm in the area going forward. Exceptional quality food is the result of high quality ingredients that are prepared by people who care, all of which comes at a premium that I am willing to pay. Oh, and they are licensed... Enjoy!
My family and I visited Carpe burger on Wednesday and had a great experience! Staff are very friendly & willing to help, the food is delicious! The smash burger was our favourite. I imagine the beef burgers are good, but the chicken burger was honestly awful. Take it as constructive critisism, the burger fell short for these things: it was 80% bread, the garlic aioli was just kinda bitter, and the chicken patty thing was thin, bland, and reminicent of a large, (nicely cooked i guess) giant dino nugget. The kind I get when Im on a budget and extremely lazy. It was a mash of chicken breast with thin breading that just ends up soggy by the time I got halfway. The price of this burger though, is NOT for a budget. Just the sandwich was $18 after tax and tip. Just another new store following trends. The restaurant has nice decor for a cafe. But it took them 25mins to get my one sandwich out. Damn I shouldve just went to Mcdonalds...

By far, the best burger weve ever had!!
First of all, the entrance faces the covered plaza. Google tried taking me around the back side where all the signage is for the Joey restaurant. But once I found the entrance, I also found the food was excellent! Had a massive smashburger that was equally satisfying in texture and flavour, Ive found its a rarity for a place to perfect both aspects of a good smashburger. The fries were extra crispy on the outside, perfectly soft on the inside, and really tasty... a nice change from fries that taste pretty much the same everywhere. Washed it all down with a pint of Red Truck Amber, and it was an incredibly satisfying combo for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Cape Grill is a fantastic new spot that has taken over from the Falafel Store Jam Jar The service is excellent, and the owner truly cares about the experience they provide. While I haven t tried their smash burger yet, I did try the buffalo chicken wings along with some beer, and I ll definitely be coming back! One of the best features is the fun atmosphere and the Capegrill experience around 11 p.m. at Lansdale Quay. It s a great place to bring a group, have fun, and enjoy the night whether it s Friday, Saturday, or any day you re free. From now on, this will be one of my go-to spots!

Best burger spot in town
Went for the first time on a Friday at 7pm. There was a DJ playing music extremely loud, the fries tasted like oil and were not seasoned, the burger was peppery and watery. The staff was really nice though.

My family and I ate there on Sunday and were sadly disappointed. We ordered one hotdog and two of their regular/cheapest hamburgers, one plain and the other with jalapenos. We received 1 hamburger with the jalapenos and were told the rest of our order is on its way and after waiting over five minutes the hotdog arrived. As for the second burger we had to check with staff to see how long it would be and apparently they didnt add the plain burger to our order and honestly thats okay :) it was a simple order and one they dropped the ball on. No I will not return or recommend.

I regularly visit Carpe Grill for having breakfast. The waffle is awesome specially the Berry mix sauce with cream on it. Also the egg sandwich is so tasty with avocado and egg sauce. They really pay attention to the details, also love to see them wearing gloves

Room for improvement. We went in around 8pm myself and a friend. I ordered the everyday smash ( 2 patties ) and debated on getting a side until I saw 1) the burger itself was $18 and a side would be $7...( The combo option: drink , burger and side would run you $27) For a smash burger to be $18 bucks it should be incredible. Well I can tell you it wasnt. It wasnt amazing , it wasnt bad but absolutely not worth that price point. The staff were fantastic, fast, kind and know what theyre doing. If they can adjust their price point to be more accurate and less gouging they will do well.

As per a previous review, room for a lot of improvement for sure. There was not a lot of burgers options to choose from, but very surprised that they didnt even have a classic lettuce and tomato for a choice. Their regular everyday burger was $17, but with potatoes wedges and a can of pop would be $24.99 (lunch). A tad steep for me. The Everyday Burger had jalapeños, but they never indicated that it was spicy. Also, on the menu, it indicated that the Shipyard Burger had lettuce, but we had a little bit of a hard time finding any lettuce in it. The poutine with a can of pop special was $9.99, again no indication that it was spicy. There were jalapeños in it, but the gravy was also spicy and was not regular gravy. Some may not be able to handle that kind of heat. There is a hot dog on the menu as well for $7, but not sure if there is a vegetarian option, as there was no indication what kind of hot dog it was. Staff was great. They were very friendly to us. All in all burger was okay, we thought that it was overpriced for what we got. Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian burger. Not too sure if the poutine was vegetarian, there wasnt a description.

One of the best smash burgers Ive had in Vancouver and definitely the best place to get a burger in North Van. I got the Shipyard burger and it was totally worth it. Tender and well-seasoned meat, soft buns, crispy bacon and soooo deep in flavor. The fries were super crispy outside and soft inside (just how I like them). Super friendly staff and excellent service. Ill definitely come again soon.

The food was delicious, the staff was exceptionally polite, food preparation was very fast, the restaurant ambiance was beautiful, the food was prepared hygienically and visible to customers. Positive energy flowed throughout the restaurant environment. It was a five-star experience in every way. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
The dining experience was simply amazing. The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The staff members were not only kind but also very efficient. Im looking forward to visiting again in the near future.
