Really really tasty chicken and waffles! Friendly staff too. Its more expensive than franchise fast food but worth it! So yummy!

Yesterday afternoon I ordered wings from Chicken Box, the portion size was small and the price was too high compared to the amount of food. Personally, I will not recommended.

I accidentally placed my chicken box order at a different location, but when I arrived at the North Vancouver branch, they informed me that they didnt have my order. However, they were incredibly accommodating and offered to replace it without asking for any payment. Their kindness and exceptional service left a lasting impression on me, and I am truly grateful for their generosity. Very nice staff! If you re in Northvan definitely recommend this place! The chicken was smelling off, and it was not tasting good. The chicken pieces were crispy and hot but the off taste ruined it for us. The chicken sandwich was not good either. I could tell the meat was not fresh.

This is one of our favourite places! The fried chicken and waffles are so good as are the burgers! And were so lucky theyre so close! Great food and service!

Got a chicken burger it was 15 dollars. so worth it, massive chicken patty , it was very neat and it was so well cooked and crisped if your in the area definitely check it out

It s a pretty good place to go for a chicken burger. Not the cheapest or most expensive place but good nonetheless. It s not extremely fast although I don t expect places to be but there isn t much space to stand or sit to wait as the storefront is tiny. They are decent sized burgers and give a fair amount of fries.

Worth to try once

Chicken box is my go to burger place. Although it s not your typical beef patty, American styled burgers, it s still pretty damn good! The wait time for food is quick, and yet they always manage to make it as perfect as possible. I would recommend getting the soy garlic chicken burger and waffles, they are my absolute favourite things on their menu.

First time going to Chicken Box and definitely won t be the last! I ordered the crispy chicken and waffles and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was Hot and fresh, amazing mixture of spices that tasted so good, the perfect amount of crunch on the coating and chicken itself was juicy and the perfect texture. The waffles were also amazing. A satisfying crunch while the inside being fluffy, tasteful even without the syrup and just perfect with it. Also they gave the perfect amount syrup for the take out order. My bf got the sweet and spicy chicken and was also extremely pleased with his meal as well. Not to mention on top of the great food, the establishment was also very clean, the prices aren t bad with today s inflation and the workers are very nice and polite which further makes me want to come back. Highly recommend Chicken Box to anyone who likes fried chicken lol

Chicken box is easily my favourite restaurant in North van, the service is wonderful and the food is made fresh every time and fast as-well. The burger is sooo good and the fries with some aioli on the side is perfection. I love this place and so do all my friends, thank you for the amazing food chicken box.

I was looking for a quick bite to eat and saw the reviews for Chicken Box. Curious, I decided to check it out. I lucked out and got there right at opening. The cashier was very friendly and my food was made fast and fresh. I had the crispy chicken sandwich combo, which was as close to perfect as Ive had at a fried chicken place so far. The fries were crunchy and crisp too. If I lived closer, Chicken Box would be my go-to spot for fried chicken.

Ive ordered delivery from here four times now and every time they knock it out of the park. Without a doubt the best fried chicken on the North Shore. The boneless chicken and chicken sandwiches are all phenomenal. I highly recommend trying out their waffles. Theyre very croissant-like, crispy and buttery on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside. Just flat out amazing. Im also a huge fan of their onion rings. Theyve always been super crispy/crunchy, not a single one of them is soft on the outside. Very addictive to munch on.

Great service. Was able to call in for takeout order. I tried their soy garlic wings - not as sweet as I expected but still very tasty. It was very crispy, well coated, and had yummy garlic chips in it!! Also caved and got an order of waffles. SO good - very different from the tradition waffle, is more like a croissant in waffle form. Even better than I expected. Will definitely return for more chicken and waffles!

I come here more times than Id like to admit. Consistently good, waffles are a must. The Nashville sauce has just the right amount of heat and is very flavourful.

The most delicious Chinkin Burger Ive ever had. Most of the time, I dont bother opening the burger to check whats in it, but I took a bite of this burger and opened it. A simple but memorable hamburger! Although the store is small, it is recognized as a hamburger restaurant!

Best chicken sandwich I have had east of Toronto. And while the sandwich was outstanding, the bites are even better!!

There is only one table outside of the two tables inside, so you can sit down and eat only if you go during off-peak hours. The chicken was also tasty on the outside and inside. The waffles are super crispy too.

One of the best if not the best chicken and waffles Ive had. I inhaled them before I could get my phone for fotos lol. If you can eat as soon as pickup so the waffles stay crispy. I had their soy garlic chicken and it really made my day!

First time trying, on a recommendation from a customer of mine. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich/fries/drink combo. Chicken was crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, the brioche bun was a perfect holder, and the fries were super good. Really friendly service despite being very busy when I went. Next time Im trying the sweet & spicy (because Ill definitely be back!) Thanks, Chicken Box, for not disappointing.

We bought 4 medium chicken wings.. plain, sweet and spicy, extra spicy and Nashville. They were all great but Nashville is my personal favourite. Def more Spicy than the rest. I think the sweet and spicy is similar to a Thai sweet chili sauce. My husband and kids raved about all of them. Can t wait to try the waffles and salads.

My favorite is their soy garlic chicken! It stays crispy even after one hour! It is especially good with little garlic chips they sprinkle on top. I also enjoyed their Nashville chicken sandwich. With red cabbage on top and the buns they use, it is such a delicious combination. I always enjoy such a friendly interaction with the staff while waiting for my food. I will definitely go back for some more!

Im really sorry to come back and change this review. The food and recipe is delicious. But, the last two times Ive ordered take out the chicken has been warm cold. No, I didnt take too long to get there, I was there in 10 minutes and my food was already packed up and ready to go. This only tells me that it wasnt made fresh. I could definitely tell the yam fries had been sitting there a while. Ill just say its hit or miss.

The waffle, golden and crisp on the outside, was a soft, fluffy cloud on the inside, with just a hint of sweetness that complemented the savory components. The fried chicken, perched atop the waffle, was crispy perfection. The seasoning was a symphony of herbs and spices that danced on my taste buds, making it truly memorable. The maple syrup, generously poured over the ensemble, was a sticky, sweet nectar that bound all the elements together in culinary harmony. However, the blissful taste journey was swiftly followed by a daunting digestive challenge. The richness of the fried chicken and waffle, combined with the sugary syrup, seemed to wage a battle within my stomach. As I continued to eat, the fullness in my belly became increasingly uncomfortable. It was as if my digestive system was protesting, working overtime to process the heavy meal. In hindsight, while the chicken and waffles were indeed a taste sensation, I would strongly advise anyone with a sensitive stomach or concerns about overindulgence to steer clear. This dish is a delightful treat, but its one that can leave you not just weighed down and regretful but also locked in a graphic and gut-wrenching battle with your bathroom for hours on end. Proceed with extreme caution, or better yet, avoid it altogether to spare yourself from this unforgettable and excruciating experience.

As you said, improvements have been made, so I have adjusted the star rating. I always enjoy eating well. A few weeks ago, I went to pick up a submission, and the staff member said in an annoyed tone that he didnt bring an envelope. I was offended because they treated me like a criminal for not doing something that wasnt written down anywhere on the order page. Just ask and get paid for the envelope... I was going to order a submission today, but gave up on ordering when I saw that there was no shopping cart in the trunk of my car. I think it would only hurt my mood to hear you being angry in the heat. Please clearly indicate the text or just accept the cost of the envelope. The food is so good that I am writing this review out of gratitude.

I ordered soy garlic chicken with waffles. For waffles i knew from other reviews they use croissant dough its very flaky and crispy but i still prefer for normal waffles with fried chicken( so classic lol) Also I wish they use real maple syrup not maple flavoured syrup . I gotta throw the syrup and used own maple.. For chicken, it s juicy and soy garlic favour is nice . But I prefer for lil more crunchy and meaty. So overall ok experience and I will stick with chiko.

The chicken was the best I ve eaten in my life so I have to give 10/10 on the taste, preparation, quality and cleanliness. The other reviewers here are correct - it s seriously delicious. But not for the faint of heart. After the meal I suffered a series of 3 serious digestive episodes over the course of 6 hours. These were no ordinary bathroom episodes; they were violent, primal, and raw a stomachs war cry against the opulence it had just endured. 10/10. Not for the faint of heart. But I love the challenge and I will be back - I booked the afternoon off for my next visit.

This place is incredible. We stopped in for chicken and waffles and were blown away. I think the waffles are made from croissants and the chicken was so crispy with just the right amount of heat. I don t leave reviews on anything but I needed to make sure people try this. Just go there trust me.

A pleasant take on the Nashville chicken and waffles. The serving of waffles was big. The croissant taste was a nice surprise. The Korean style fried chicken was moist and really crispy, but not as spicy as I was expecting. Figured too much sauce would make it soggy. Great price point too! I would gladly come back again.

Had to go back twice in one week because sweet lord this is some of the best chicken Ive ever had!!! The staff are wonderful and the cashier is super sweet and just makes the atmosphere of the store so welcoming!! Ive order the soy garlic chicken and waffles and a 10/10 everytime. Fluffy waffles and juicey fall apart chicken with the extra crispy chicken skin, not to mention the portions are always so generous

Super friendly/helpful staff and excellent fried chicken! I played it safe and tried the medium chicken wings...YUM. I will be little more adventurous next time and try the cheese sprinkle wings. This is a welcome addition to our great selection of restaurants and food trucks in LOLO.

I was their first dine-in customer and I ve been back since that first time. I love Korean fried chicken and this place is great. The chicken is juicy, crunchy and flavourful. I ve only had the sandwiches so far: soy garlic and nashville hot. The soy garlic was a bit messy but worth the mess. The nashville hot was the perfect heat for me. I ll try the chicken and waffles next time. The service is also very friendly and welcoming.

We ordered takeout here tonight and were so glad we did. The website was easy to use and the staff was super duper nice. No hyperbole: this is quite possibly the best spicy chicken sandwich Ive ever had. The heat crept up on me and I didnt notice because it was so flavourful and then all of a sudden my nose was running! Its got heat! It also had a good amount of coleslaw and sauce, and the chicken was perfectly cooked and crispy. We also had the sweet and spicy chicken and waffles which were incredible: the waffles were light and crispy and the chicken was cooked beautifully and nicely seasoned. We got sides of pickled radish and coleslaw, which were both delicious. Lastly we tried the fries and garlic mayo, both delicious as well; the fries were seasoned with something more than salt (I think) and the garlic mayo was just amazing. Well definitely be going back!

Second time going with two excellent experiences. Staff are very friendly and the chicken (Nashville and Crispy) are well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Portions are a good size and good for sharing among a group (or not). One of my new favourites in lower Lonsdale

Just discovered this gem yesterday and we ordered the crispy chicken and waffles and can I just say it was **chefs kiss** and I had to come back today to try the burger combo and it was **chefs kiss**. I will be going here at least once a week now

My friend told me about this place, and he could not stop talking about how amazing it was, so I took my son there today and we had some of the best chicken ever. My son is a chicken burger aficionado and he says his spicy was a 10/10. I had the soy/garlic boneless. so moist and cooked perfectly with tasty slices of roast garlic. The waffles were amazing too. The people are so friendly and nice. Can not wait to go back.

Update : I have tried almost everything and it has all been super delicious! Croissant waffle is buttery goodness. The salad is incredibly fresh and the dressings are very good. The burger is surprisingly juicy. And the Nashville flavor went way beyond my expectations. I thought it would be a common western style hot sauce (i.e. Franks) but its entirely different, it has a very unique taste to it and its awesome. Now Ill have to try out the cheese powder flavor and their wings and yam fries. Honestly, we havent had fried chicken from any other place since coming here! This place has quality fried chicken! You should definitely give it a try. Ive eaten the crispy and the sweet & spicy flavours which were both delicious! The staff are also very nice and communicative. Best of all, its a local small business I can feel good about supporting. Cant wait to try their chicken and waffle menu items!

Walked by and couldn t resist the amazing smells! Very friendly staff and generous portions. We tried the crispy and soy garlic in medium size which is more than enough. It would have been good to know a bit more about what are favoured or get suggestions on sauces. We will definitely go back and try more.

Amazing Korean Fried Chicken! Super fresh, great flavor, and crispy. The mu was special and had yuzu in it which was a nice touch. The ladies who served us were so friendly and kind.

Staff was friendly and the place was nice and clean but the food was pretty meh. We ordered a sweet and spicy burger and the crispy chicken. The burger was ok but nothing special and the chicken strips were pretty awful. Very dry and virtually flavourless. Unfortunate since this place seems to have good reviews. Maybe we just got a bad batch? Our chicken definitely didn t resemble the chicken in the photos that other people have posted.

Im leaving a review with a happy heart because I discovered this really delicious chicken restaurant.. I ordered seasoned, soy garlic, and Nashville wings. The well-cured meat was so tender, and the delicious sauce was seasoned just right, so I ate more than usual! The waffles on the side menu are probably Crofl, but they were so delicious that I was confused as to whether this was a chicken restaurant or a waffle restaurant... It was the most delicious chicken I ve ever had!!!

I can t vouch for the low ratings because the chicken was amazing, and all I got was the original crispy flavor party wings. I also had the fries and it stayed crispy when I got back to my hotel room. My husband got the chicken and waffles and absolutely enjoyed the juicy and crispy chicken thighs (boneless), and the waffles were soft, crispy, and flaky. The waffles also held up until we got to the hotel room.

wow I was actually blown away at how good this food was! the waffles are better than any other waffles Ive ever had! theyre buttery crispy waffles almost like croissants. the burger was delicious, we got sweet and spicy chicken and ginger soy and those were also very tasty. we will definitely come back and try a few different burgers and chicken and waffles. its so nice to have another tasty chicken place on Lonsdale!!

Ive had the crispy boneless with sweet & spicy dipping sauce, waffles & pickled radish. Everything is delicious & fresh, made with quality & care. I couldnt resist sampling a few hot pieces from my take-out box before I even made it home!
