Come to Raglans if you like flies in your drinks and dry fries. The pulled pork sandwich was good though.

This has been our go to place since we moved to North Vancouver 10 years ago. I remember coming here almost every week. We had kids and skipped a few years visiting the place as eating out with toddlers is tough but now that the kids are big enough, we re glad to be back and the food, atmosphere, and staff are still as awesome! Great portions, lots of good options did I mention that food is great?

This is the real deal. Yes, if you re looking for authentic crafted, fresh food. it hits the spot every time!

I had an awesome time at Raglans today! It was my first time and I called ahead because I have some allergies, but the manager Nick was so accommodating. They hadnt heard of The EM before (grenadine, pineapple juice, ginger ale), but they made it and it was honestly the best Ive ever had!

I live locally and I ve eaten here several times. Compared to other restaurants in the area the service is notoriously slow. The vibe outside can be fun because of the Hawaii theming and epic location, but the Mexican food is below average at best. The main reason for leaving this review though is that the restaurant seems very unclean. I usually eat outside but after eating inside for the first time I will not be revisiting. The booths were not clean, there were dead flies around the windows and there was a really bad smell at our table, like things had been wiped down with dirty water or maybe mould, who knows, but it put me off the already sub-par Mexican food. If you re in the area I d recommend alternatives like The Nook (pizza/pasta), Burgoo (2 restaurants down the hill, really great food and interesting menu) or the Greek next door (although this is a little expensive).

My friends and I were very excited to come back to Raglan s for the first time in a while for their burgers that we loved in the past. However we left surprised and disappointed by the drop in quality of their food. The first thing we all noticed was that the buns were thin (which we found odd for a thick burger) and tasted stale. Secondly, the back bacon was more like a thin, cold slice of deli meat. We were expecting proper back bacon and this was a big let down. The cheese wasn t put on the burger while cooking so it never melted and was served cold. Lastly, my friends ordered burgers that came with crispy onion rings. In the past we remember these coming with a heaping amount, but there were barely enough crispy onions to register. On top of that, the fries tasted dry and stiff, the kind of thing that happens from being stuck in the freezer for too long. It brings me no joy to write this but as a long time fan of this place we really hope they step up their game.

Raglans has vastly improved since my last review. Great poutine, recommend the Ancho Chicken if you want the best of the best from them. Mezcal Mule hits well as a bright, slightly smokey take on a Mule. Vegetarian options: They have veggie poutine options.

The tables and seats arent the most comfortable, though they do have cushions and blankets. Service is good but sometimes they get busy and swamped

It s got a cool vibe the staff was friendly. The patio and location is great. But I was disappointed in the burger. Had the lolo and it was a simple 2 patty with back bacon, cheese and tomato lettuce with what seems Montreal seasoning on it. That s it. It would have been awesome to have a pineapple aïoli sauce or something to tie the name to it. Saucy burger that gets all over your hands. Excuse me, could I get more napkins please burger. And the patties were dry I d go back but up the game on the lolo

Back in 2015, we stopped here for poutine and for the last 7+ years, this place continues to come up in conversation. Naturally, the next time we came to town it was on our must-visit list. Highly recommend the Miso Gravy. Cool vibe, great food.

I called them 9:25pm, they told me last call is in 5 min I was there after 4min and the guy told me we don t accept order without any apologies!

Poor customer service!

I used to love this place! Today I went there and got a veggie pulled pork hash, and it was full of burnt pieces in it. I have pics to show. I gave them a chance to fix it so when server asked how everything was I explained that overall the food was good but there were a lot of burnt pieces and she just apologized but that was it. Very disappointed with both the food and the customer service received today. They used to be so much better!

Deceptive business practices. They purposely dont show you the itemized receipt and add an automatic gratuity and let you tip on top of that so next thing you know youre paying extremely high prices for subpar food and service.

Decent beer, pleasant staff, quirky location, really bad food. Burger is all bun and terrible quality meat, both the beef and the chicken thigh they use in the chicken burger. Would pop in for a quick beer but would never eat here again.

Fantastic service, amazing food, fun drinks. Over all a well don t little place. Personally the in house hot sauce they have at every table was perfect. Having that on a burger or even the fries makes it even better!

Overall, food was good, nice location, mexican street corn appetizer was a small portion and mostly chips. Seating is uncomfortable, hard wood and tables are high so made eating awkward. Not recommended if you have a group 6+.

The service was really slow and the food was mediocre and lukewarm. My fiances burger had a hair in it. Maybe they were having an off night as I see lots of positive reviews here, but with so many other great restaurants in the area I dont think well be giving Raglans another shot. Great atmosphere and vibes though so I ve given a star for that.

We were there on Canada a day at night. We order two mains and two drinks. After waiting for a hour and asking for our food twice, with no one in the restaurants, the servers said the order was accidentally deleted. We waited another 20mins but no luck! We left and they made us pay fully for our drinks! They never apologized and manager was so aggressive!

Great food and beer; not overly expensive

Unfortunately i felt the need to write this, service here was abysmal. I could very much tell they were understaffed server wise, I only ordered 1 appetizers and food came out crazy fast and hot.(drinks came 5 minutes after.) food was amazing but I wasn t asked how it was or if we wanted more till about 30 minutes after our plate was finished.(we weren t given side plates to split the food). Over all I wish all the best for the workers there as they seemed to be really rushing around and trying as hard as they could, but, I couldn t justify the service even with that. I work in the food industry as well and know some nights are worse than others, and I hope last night was just a hoax. I may possibly try again on a later date however I m in no rush to go back.

This place is one of my all time favourites. They ve got some of the best cocktails you can find on this side of the bridge. Food has never blown my socks off but it s always been good enough to not ruin the fun vibe.

Rob Burger and Gyro Ranch Dog were top notch. Very colorful establishment; nice view of the water and cool ocean breeze kept things fresh and carried a refreshing smell of the sea. Great place to relax and have a bite.

This is a place where you go to have a good time. The environment is welcoming, whether you go on your own or you go somewhere else with a group, you will have a good time and you will have good food too. Only feedback I could ever leave would be to have more beer selections.. Only a pilsner and a lager which in my opinion is not enough. A couple more options would broaden the market, in my opinion

August 12, 2022 Got the Large BBQ Veggie Poutine, and it was a bit too heavy and sauced out, but still pretty good. My friend from Montreal, however, did not approve! Patio was nice, in fact any patio seating in Lonsdale is usually pretty good.

Raglans makes some of the best burgers Ive ever had. It s so simple but so good. It s not trying to be something it s not. The way a burger should be. I ve had the 540 burger a few times now and there s something about the patty that is just so good. I gotta get back here sometime soon

2 night on a row,first night had the 900 hamburger, it was delicious,tonight i had chicken poutine and it was delicious too,service was good,fast and friendly.had a couple of non alcoholic drinks and were tasty too.no line but busy place.

Just had one of the worst meals of my life from Raglans. 540 burger had no taste, plain bun with mayo and lettuce. The meat was absolutely flavourless, can t see the bacon or taste it, and the wings were covered in so much sauce, not sure if they were ever crispy, but they were disgusting, soggy and fatty. How a pub screws up a basic burger is beyond me, but ruined Mother s Day for sure.

We went last night to have a dinner at Raglans Bistro in North Vancouver at around 1030 pm May 21,2022. Upon sitting from the restaurant ,We ordered some food so both Burgers . Our foods came and I was surprised MY fries is too small quantity I even counted it 20 pieces of slice fries and form my friend is over flowing from his plate.We starting eating already and no water served on our table.I hope the owner will see from the camera hows the food been served in different ways.The burger is overcooked not as same as before this is my third time visit to eat there because its good but last night is the worse burger and fries I ever ate to this restaurant .the meat is over cooked and the fries is burned and 20 pcs of fires in my plate . the service is totally bad .Just wondering only why that kind of workers works on this establishment.And even some of the customers just went out from the Restaurant are talking badly about the service and foods. I will never comeback again to this Restaurant .You are paying the right amount for the foods and the food that will served to you is less than I ever had before and the service are totally not acceptable.Have a nice day

Fun atmosphere and drinks (MONSOON!), but servers were inattentive to the patio space so we watched a disappointed couple leave without getting any attention

Great location, good music and the food was very tasty. I gave 4 stars because it would be nice to have a few more options on the menu that aren t burgers and tacos and their happy hour menu is kind of lame. My hubby had the burger and it was great. The chicken wings were really good too.

A bit disappointed given the ratings and popularity of the place. I did like the atmosphere and tropical juice blend drinks but found the food we tried only decent with nothing great. The strawberry maple-butter waffles were small and oddly portioned (3 half waffles). The hash browns that come with the burgers at lunch were okay but fries would have been much better but are not offered at brunch. We ate inside on a cold day and they had the fan cranked such that it was freezing and kept blowing the menus around on the table. Im unsure if they turned it down after we asked or not but it was fairly annoying.

This place is nice to visit anytime. We were here for beers and dinner. On picture is burrito. We had wotj beef and pulled pork. Both are very tasty with two choices of salsa. They served also big drinks for two and more people. It looks really amazing. Also nachos in big portion. We will definitely visit next time.

Chilled out, Baja themed eatery with strong drinks and good food. We had burgers and poutine. Delicious food made with high quality ingredients. Poutine cheese curds were thick and chewy. Burger had a perfect sear with juicy interior. Really enjoyed our food. Service was only ok, but they were super busy as it was a long weekend. So totally understandable. The patio is so cozy, and perfect for people watching. While its too far to get much of a harbour view, its the perfect distance for an after dinner walk along the water.

On Canada day, one of the busiest days of the year in the summer, the hostess couldnt clean and wipe 7 open tables and instead turned away 20 + people at a revenue lost of approximately $1000 in what would be literally 1 min to clean them. 1 hour wait for 20 people + line up all because the tables needed that much time to clean. Ps there was no wait list just money turned away.

Nick got the service and an amazing regular rob burger and fries. With coconut prawns..

Delicious food.

Bland and boring food. Just an average place. The service is also not great, when I complained about my egg white being runny they gave me attitude, took it away and brought it back completely overcooked. No reason to ever come back, try burgoo next door, the food is a lot nicer.

I have been here before and had a great brunch before . The score Five stars with the contributing items being Hot sauce at the table, Salt and pepper grinders for fresh condiments and a tasty hot breakfast....too I cleaned my plate...keep up the great work guys...this million view reviewer is a fan!

Somewhat of a hidden gem in Lonsdale. The vibe is great and the food is awesome. Dont skip Sunday brunch! Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian dishes. The shredded yam pulled pork looked great Other options available too. Parking: Readily available 30min-1hr parking nearby and Paid parking in abundance within a block.

went here for lunch with friends. we ordered the tacos and burger. The burger was amazing. I like how they serve with just halved potatoes. The tacos was build yourself. I like the corn tortilla so it holds the taco well. What I did not appreciate was the waitress that helped us at the end. She did not know how to combine bills and charged us double for fountain drinks. Isnt fountain drinks refill suppose to be free ? I asked her this question and assume she only said yes because she doesnt know how to edit receipts.

Loved being able to bring my pup on the patio to eat with me. Had The Republican burger (with crispy onions, roasted mushrooms, and Brie) with a classic poutine and a passion fruit orange lychee mocktail. Everything tastes pretty good, would ve liked more Brie in the burger but overall I d like to come back!

This restaurant I went to last Sunday, because there were no seats indoors, so under the guidance of the staff, I found a seat outside that could get the sun and sat down. However, because the entire lower part of the outdoor restaurant was It was empty and without any cover, so I finished the meal with the cold wind blowing, which was not a good experience! I m not in the mood to savor the dishes I ordered!

The service was not great with below-average beer. The cherry on the top was over 20%Tip automatically added to our bill so they end up with a 35% Tip for not good service! It was our last time there thats for sure.

The staff serving us were nice enough but the food was not. The burger had a puddle of at least couple spoonfuls of grease underneath it half way thru eating it, the breakfast burger was either too salty of a bite or really greasy, the best part of all the dishes were the potatoes. We all were sick by nighttime from the food. We were excited to try it because of the reviews but were very disappointed.

First time at Raglans tonight and it was FANTASTIC! All around amazing. The food was to die for, we had the falafel bites and chicken quesadilla and they were phenomenal. Drinks are so well done and adorable! Huge fishbowls with fruit and candy! Nick and Kirsten took very good care of us and truly care about this business! Will be making this a regular stop!

Very cute place. I found the inside by the kitchen area to be a bit gross. There was just a lot of clutter (boxes and random junk), which makes me think their general cleaning practices aren t great (each table was really well cleaned though). Service was very friendly; however, it seemed as if one woman was serving all tables. I had the strawberry maple walnut waffles and was slightly disappointed with the flavour. It was a very odd flavour. Not so horrible that I couldn t eat it but just weird. That being said, the hash browns and the drinks are incredible here.
