The açaí bowls were really good and I would highly recommend. I was able to take them to go and were still cold and frozen when I got home. The cookies were way too sweet.
Horribly dry and chewy tofu. If this was supposed to be crispy than it was definitely not fresh. It was like eating rubber from the outside, at least the inside was soft enough. The vegan curry sauce was really strong in flavour, almost too strong for me. At least the steamed lentil is delicious! Kombucha on tap was not working. However, I will give this place another chance because I see the great reviews and the smoothies look and sound delicious. Perhaps I'll try a different bowl in hopes it will be better than the one I had the first time coming here. I feel a bit sorry to leave this review because the customer service was great and the place is beautiful. The bath bombs etc also look amazing, will definitely give those other products a try!
The portion of the food was good (I felt tired of chewing at the end 😅 so healthy!!) The only downside was that tofu is an add on. Also the air was quite stuffy in there. They got lots of interesting smoothies, maybe that’s the most popular thing? Btw, the menu on the website still shows $14.5 for bowls which is $16.95 now I believe. https://www.buddha-full.ca/menu
I have been wanting to try this place out ever since my sister in law started working here! She had a lot of good recommendations for me to try! I tried the cherry smoothie and the peanut butter açaí bowl. Both were so delicious. I definitely want to go back and try their matcha and their coffee.
A Plant-Based Paradise at Buddha Full! Oh, Buddha Full, where have you been all my vegan days? Walking into your cafe is like stepping into a vibrant garden of edible delights, and I must say, I'm still floating on cloud nine from my last visit! Let's talk about the "Nut-thing Better Acai" bowl first. If this bowl were a movie, it would sweep the Oscars. Picture this: a heavenly heap of organic acai, with banana and blueberries so fresh you’d think they just took a dip in the Fountain of Youth. And the star of the show? That decadent organic peanut butter sauce cascading over an A-list cast of banana, strawberries, kiwi, with a cameo of chia pudding, cacao nibs, and homemade granola that deserves its own spin-off series. Each spoonful was a blockbuster hit in my mouth! Moving on to the Tofuino Salad—this isn't just any salad; it's a crunchy, colorful carnival of joy! The kale was so tender it must have been hand-reared from infancy, and paired with the smoky tofu, it was like a sultry tango of flavors. The supporting cast of carrots, radish, and purple cabbage added just the right amount of crunch, making every bite a standing ovation. And let’s not forget the Grilled Please Sandwich. With its sunflower pesto and zen cheese, it's the kind of sandwich that brings peace talks to the table. It’s like if world leaders sat down and shared this sandwich, global harmony would be achieved before dessert. Buddha Full, you’re not just a cafe; you're a culinary utopia. Your plant-based prowess is turning this meat-eater into a frequent leaf-eater. Bravo, and see you soon—my taste buds insist on an encore! Yours in veggie and fruit-filled delight, Ruben
Something I don’t take for granted is this go-to place before I head to work a few blocks away. If I needed an extra lift of energy, this is the place I run to. I always lean on my comfort flavors especially for a smoothie. However, today, I chose to try something different ( with the Server’s help, of course ) from my Happy Face 🙂 to their promotional smoothie QUI MON CHERRY smoothie 🍒 Such a good call! Thank you to the Server who made my smoothie, it matched my aura 💗
That was our first time going there although we’ve been living close by! Too bad. Now it’s one of our favourite places. So cozy, unique atmosphere with healthy food, snacks and drinks options.
Want to eat healthy? Wanna feel healthy after eating? I bet you do :-) well you stumbled on the place to do just that. Great decor. Friendly stuff. And I mean look at those balls. That there is a bowl of goodness. A bowl of freshness. A bowl of tastiness. A bow of Buddha bowl. I mean the place is cool. Waters in the back if you want it. Easy to find. Easy menu. The only thing I don’t like. Is that tip thing for a counter service. I will I’ll be back. You bet I will be.
Great atmosphere, staff were a bit reserved but also may have just been busy!
I went in for an açai bowl and while the taste was good, the consistency (straight away) was more of soup than even a smoothie consistency let alone an açai bowl. I m assuming that the bowls are premade and this is why. Would not go for açai again. But I would like to give it another try for the other items.
Went there to get takeout and while the food was decent, the service was anything but. We d placed an order online, and despite asking for cutlery and for the samosa to be split (50c to cut a thing in half?!), we walked over to the Lonsdale Quay to find that we had neither. That led to us awkwardly trying to grab cutlery from other nearby spots, since Buddha Full had closed by then. The samosa is also ridiculously overpriced for what it is, and was stone cold in the middle. Everything else we got was pretty good: the bowl was tasty (the stewed lentils were really well done), and the tiramisu-inspired nut bar was also pretty yummy (nothing tiramisu about it though, not even a hint of coffee flavour). Overall, I do love seeing more vegan cafes/restaurants come up in the city, but there s room for improvement. Dietary restrictions: Gluten and nut free options clearly marked
Michelin Stars
the food is good but pretty much all the staff are rude. it s almost like it policy to be weird and rude to whoever comes in, it s a very uncomfortable atmosphere
Acai bowl was completely watery. Pure water. I asked if it was supposed to be like that to the cashier and she said yes. I ve had açaí bowls before. They aren t complete liquid.
Today I was there and I had a worse experience with my ( all protein) salad in my life , salad was yellow and tofu was hard and old nothing else added in, never come back again. I have that experience few years ago .unfortunately nothing changed in this place yet .
Really lovely bowls and wonderful service. Will be back and grateful for such healthy meal options.
Great food
My partner and I just had one of the most delicious lunches here and cant wait to come back. We got the cashew curry bowl (new menu item) and the coastal vibes bowl and were so fulfilled. The portion sizes are huge and hearty, and you can taste the quality and love put into preparing the food. Places like this are hard to come by for hot and delicious whole food plant based meals with large portions!
The atmosphere is great. Good food
The staff were great except this one guy. My friend group and I and were stereotyped as teens that were cheap and not buying anything, he asked us multiple times to buy something even though my friend bought something. Rude.
I went to buddahful today and was just waiting for my friends order when a rude staff member came over to us. In a very aggressive tone he accused us of not ordering and told us to order or leave. This was very rude as we had order and was just expecting us to not because we are teenagers. Would not come here again after this terrible experience.
The overall atmosphere of the place was moderate. However, it was a very hot day and i needed a place to rest. i had ordered a smoothie previously and had went to sit down to rest as i was very very warm and needed a break. one staff member of the male gender informed me that there was a menu and i said thank you . i had already ordered at the time so i didnt think much of it. a few minutes later the staff member aggressively questioned my presence in the store. he said i would appreciate if one of you bought something. . i was taken aback by this comment as it was a very hot day, and the employees only concern was for me to order something. i was not loitering but simply waiting for my meal and i would prefer in future years that this specific employee is more accommodating. However, the food and atmosphere was good, but the employee was condescending and rude considering the health risks of a hot day like this.
The other employee I spoke to was lovely HOWEVER there was this one ignorant staff member who said we weren t buying anything and said in SUCH a tone, fully speaking down to us as if we were children. He said that one of us has to buy something otherwise we need to leave. He also kept directing us towards the menu. At this point I had already bought something. Just because we are teenagers doesn t give you the right to judge us, maybe judge your employee on not being efficient enough at making my drink. Such unprofessional behaviour. In the future teach your employees not to profile teenagers. Thanks.
I live nearby and love coming here occasionally for a smoothie, a healthy sweet treat, a mocha chaga maca or a coastal bowl. It s always been healthy & delicious (with one exception). If they had more paleo / low glycemic smoothies that didn t taste like salad (ahem green detox smoothie) I would come here more often. I go to body energy club all the time and prefer their smoothies - like the keto chocolate one. Last time I came I ordered the rainbow salad with tofu added on. It was flavorless and disappointing to say the least with barely any dressing added. I will stick to the coastal bowl in future. Parking is very limited.
I ordered a rainbow salad bowl, sounded delicious and refreshing, the fellow at the counter gives me a salad from the display case and I had asked if was fresh from today? He replied no it was made yesterday but it s still good. I am sure it is but if I am paying $15 for a salad I would prefer a freshly made one. He seemed annoyed and asked the gal working with him to make me a salad. When I arrived home I had placed in the fridge for an hour, upon eating the salad a hour later it was overdressed and extremely underwhelming, I would have hoped the gal making the salad would have had the decency to place the dressing on the side. Thank you but no thank you, cheap salad made poorly
Great food, nice location, but the prices are a little over the top. $12 minimum for a smoothie, a simple lunch was almost $35 for a wrap and smoothie. But in fairness, they were fantastic. Will go again, but not as often as Id like in this economy.
The Açai Bowl and Nuts About You Toast was delicious! Great vegan option!
I got the Tofuno salad which unfortunately was not nice. The salad was dry with very little sauce. A few pieces of tofu were hard. Edit since there was a reply from the restaurant: A little amount of sauce is my preference in a salad, however tasteless and dry kale combined with hard tofu is not normal in a salad. Its not a preference issue, it just was objectively not nice.
Best vegan food and coffee I love it here! I always have the best experience - from the food to the ambiance and to everyone working here, it truly feels like a family <3 The quality of the food is always great and makes me feel so satisfied and happy! And the espresso they use slaps! I crave coming here every single day!! :)
Had the chai tea and tirimsu Both fabulous! Will be back for more!!! Food : 5/5
My go-to is the fiesta wrap, its delicious. Vegetarian options: All vegan! Kid-friendliness: I would say its good for kids.
girlfriend loves the soup! Vegetarian options: lots for vegetarians and vegans Food : 5/5 |
Run of the mill food elitist cafe. Paying more for a latte where the milk hasn t been steamed (happened twice, literally not steamed) or a rotting salad (from the display case). I have these guys 5+ chances and would not recommend.
Just moved into the neighborhood and so happy to have this place!!
I asked for the best salad and got a giant pile of raw kale with some details. Not bad but Idunno if Id pick it again.
I hadn t been to the North Van location on West 1st in years and always enjoyed it in the past, not so much this time. I am a person who generally does not leave reviews but it was my birthday and my experience was a bit off putting. The gentleman behind the counter (I believe someone called him Leo) had such a sour expression - seemed like he wanted to be anywhere else but there. Definitely allergic to smiling. There are several signs that make reference to good vibes . Can t say I was feeling them. The first point of contact gives a first impression regardless of what the food is like. Looks like there s room for improvement.
I ve been going to the dollarton location for a few years now. Service does not seem to be as good as it was before and prices keep going up. As of recently, waited over 5 min to order as it seemed no one is paying attention to the front area. And then they forgot to make my smoothie in the end. :/ really really expensive for not the best experience.
Service has gone downhill at this location. Rude staff now, which is unfortunate. Much better service at the Dollarton location.
Great quality food, amazing cookies, good atmosphere and the staff is very nice.
Came here and the cook and staff were so so amazing - food is so delicious and they made sure they even catered to all my diet restrictions and i left so happy :) definitely recommend this place ! :)
A Bhudda-full of disappointment. First time, last time.
I was craving cookies so I stopped by here quickly! Theyre soft, thick, have a filled center and varying levels of sweetness. I really enjoyed the oreo one and my boyfriend loved the red velvet. Ive been to this location multiple times over the past couple of years, once even for my 18th birthday! However, I never felt the need to leave a review until today. The lady helping me, while I appreciate her honesty, was curt, expressionless and put in no effort to help me. I asked her if the caramel brownie cookie had a filling because it was my first time trying their cookies and she replied flatly, No idea. Never had them. I work in customer service as well so I was a little disappointed she didnt even consider asking anyone if they knew. Other than that the only other thing she said to me was Need a receipt?. I would much rather order pickup from a delivery service next time.
I go to north van once in a blue moon, but every time I go, Buddha-Full is a must go place for me and my gf! We are both vegan and Its pretty tough now to find vegan + organic + gluten free restaurants. The food and smoothies are delicious!!! Its a little pricy but its so worth it!!! Keep up the good vibes Buddha-Ful!
delicious drinks and some really cool health products!
I LOVE BUDDHA-FULL. I basically lived on their smoothies for 2 months straight after moving to North Vancouver. The Lobo is an incredible smoothie; definitely a go-to. But I also love the Zen Glory, and the Buddha-Buzz with espresso. Ive also had some of their Acai & Granola bowls and theyve been great as well.
Don t get me wrong I like Budda-Full, but I was caught really off-guard when they said they charge $0.25 for hot sauce on my bowl. You have a whole ad campaign about not charging extra for milk alternatives but you sure do make up for it in other areas
Great smoothies...
Best smoothies I ve ever tasted. Consistent effort from the staff and always smiling. The most amazing vegan options for the everyday person. They put their hearts into the work and ingredients. WOULD recommend
Fiesta wrap was amazing. Coastal vibes bowl was great as well.
Its a cool restaurant with good vegan options. The bowl was healthy and tasted pretty good but the flavours kind of all blended together because there were yams, brown rice and lentils whuch all kind of turned into one big starch... It would be better with only 1-2 starches. Vegetarian options: Great for vegans or vegetarians! Dietary restrictions: Vegan available
Not a good experience here on multiple visits small place without proper ventilation and smell of bleach all the time..!
All around great experience
Nice vibes. Food tasted yummy. Food
The environment is good and the taste is average.
Super lovely place and staff! I dropped my smoothie outside and they were super nice about the mess and made me a new smoothie.
best americano ive had. i asked for a bit of oat milk in it (hence the quotes) and it was perfect, and the beans they used were very smooth. also best almond croissant but im curious if its theirs or bonus. couldnt find a clarification, but also didnt ask. only big issue is lack of non-single use containers.
The food is good, staff is pretending to be nice but they really have to work on it. So many single use dishes, I know it says it fully biodegradable which is hard to believe but even if it is true what is the point to use planet resources so much if you can buy instead just couple of ceramic plates and glasses?
The food flavor is good. It has a variety of smoothies and some salads as well. I feel it is understaffed for the weekend which make it tough for the employees to provide friendly customer service.
Food: the best I have ever tried in Vancouver. Service:
Great vibe in this place! Had one of their bowls and it was delicious. They carried a selection of cookies from Bonus bakery so that was nice!
Fantastic in every way from taste, presentation and staff.
Amazing smoothies and food. But have never experienced welcoming customer service. Staff seem to not enjoy customers coming in and are usually unpleasant. (10+ visits) thus the 2 star revoke. But will still go to get my smoothies!
Delicious, interesting food.
When Im in North Van I like to get the vegan chocolate banana cookie and usually love it. When i was in town Monday the cookie was stale and too hard to even bite into. At $5 a cookie, I expect better quality. Disappointed.
First time trying this place. I got the samosa (no photo) It was so good. It came with mango chutney and it was delicious. I have to say this is the closest taste of samosa compared to the authentic ones you eat at an authentic Indian place. I highly recommend it. It s so filling too so you might just wanna get it on its own. I also ordered the Costal Vibes Bowl. The portion is VERY generous and is enough for two people unless you are starving. The zesty peanut sauce is a bit overwhelmed but it s my first time trying it so might grow on me. Did not care much for the lentils. The smoked tofu was great. The rest of the ingredient are fresh and best of all it s ALL organic. If you wanna treat yourself to a healthy organic meal that s guilt free but yet filling and tasty I highly recommend this place. Order again same bowl and I just love it!! Also got the Bee Green smoothie and it s cold pressed. So good! Highly recommend
Wow! Very fresh, very clean food that tastes great!! Its well-prepared, friendly staff as well. So many options and most are gluten-free. Drink options are great, too! Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options clearly marked. If you need to remove soy products ask to replace with something else. Very accommodating.
We loveee buddhaful and go very often. Although in the last two months, we re 99% sure my partner has gotten food poisoning twice from their kale which he describes as gone bad . We re really hoping they take better precautions to prevent this from happening again
Even tho I order the same thing every time it s all really good
My new favorite lunch place on LoLo Vegetarian options: I love the smoothie here and Samosas are so freshh Food : 5/5 |
Food was healthy, wholesome and delicious. Ambiance was great as well. Took 1-star off because they serve dine-in food in takeout containers which seems a bit off brand as they sold dishwashing soap bars to reduce plastic waste in the environment. 5-stars if they used actual dishes and real utensils!
Lovely energy. Peaceful, smiling and friendly service. The wide variety of drinks, foods and desserts makes this the perfect spot for anyone with specific dietary choices and looking for healthy options The Soul Starter hit the spot with it s warm, cosy and grounding adaptogenic properties, and the Wild at Heart was nourishing and packed with flavour.
Been here many times, its always been on the pricey side so not a routine thang. Tbh the place is very nice, clean and somewhat bland.. Its almost like a Taylor Swift cove where you come to be vanilla and meditate on the nourishment of what nature provides. Thankfully, they do not play Taylor Swift or popular mainstream bewlshiet. Music is lo-fi beats that are perfect for studying or talking quietly about your exes. Foods always been great, the sauces are awesome but I did not enjoy my smoothie this time around, saw a new choice on the board (108) honestly, tasted like rotten banana, I believe thats like $13 down the drain...cest la vie.. Other than that never had a bad experience here, the people are nice or bland, sometimes both... Might be awhile before I head back over tho Vegetarian options: Its only vegetarian but its great
Luvly team, variety of healthy options, quality food and smoothies , so del! Luv it Food
Worst service. Food is way overpriced. Poorly run establishment.
Loved the delicious and healthy options. Had a Bohemian Soul Bowl, which was flavorful and filling. Will be back! Dietary restrictions: Able to accommodate dairy and gluten free options
It is a nice, very casual place for healthy food. We went with non-vegans who also really enjoyed the Coastal Vibes Bowl. Vegetarian options: It is a fully vegan restaurant. Dietary restrictions: It is a vegan restaurant with gluten free options.
I ordered the nut-thing better acai bowl and it was absolutely delicious! One of the best I ve had. It was so good that I went back the next day for another. The place is cute and has a lovely vibe. My only grumble is that everything is served in takeaway cups and containers, even when you sit in
Amazing vegan and vegetarian bowls! But for what they charge for a bowl is overpriced. I wish they would give you extra food, considering lentils and grains are the cheapest thing you can purchase.
Tasty food made with love
Excellent bowl options-tasty & filling
Good but very expensive
A good choice for healthy vegetarian meals The atmosphere in the store is also very comfortable
Vibrancy smoothie with a banana crunch cookie you re welcome
Love this place! Delicious vegan food, nice vibe, friendly staff.
I almost always stop here when Im in north van! Such great vegan food. Especially the raw food desserts. You HAVE to try the tiramisu
Love this place, my favourite restaurant in Vancouver by far!
The tall tree smoothie is like a personal cacao ceremony
Lovely place and delicious food!
Adore this place. The staff is super nice and the food is delicious
Fun strawberry + oat parfait!
Delicious vegan bowl
Food good but somewhat pricey, nice coffee, though sometimes they burn the oat milk. Please update your washroom facilities to include a change table for parents.
Delicious, I just wish if one chooses to eat in the crockery to not be all disposable. Look forward to trying their other offerings.
Best smoothies in town!
Food was delicious as always but the prep chef was walking around the store with their mask down. Extremely unprofessional and frankly unacceptable in a pandemic.
Blissful and one of the best places Ive been to for breakfast and lunch. Ive been to France, India and Ireland so I know what Im talking about. Check it out
Buddha-full was amazing food and services, and the environment in the store is awesome. They have anything vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free. Its really nice place to eat in North Vancouver
Nice food but not particularly comfortable seating
I need to leave this review cause im a regular and for those looking to buy coffee here. This place is a hit or a miss based on the person making the coffee. It could be the best in Vancouver or completely the worst experience you have in your life. Turnover at this place is pretty regular and the inexperience are jaw dropping-ly bad. If this was Tim horrors I would understand but, spending $5 for some trash coffee needs to stop. For those buying here, buy at your own risk
I go here all the time and love it for vegan food. Cozy bowl, grilled please and tiramisu is super yum!! As long as you dont go near closing (otherwise they half shut down/cut corners 30 mins beforehand).
Great shakes! Excellent service
Cute little vegan cafe by the Lonsdale quay. The vegetable pakora is very tasty. The tiramisu was of a good size but I find it a bit too dense. Definitely took a long time to finish eating that. There are a couple of tables in the restaurant but it can become quite busy during lunch time. All their utensils are disposable.
What the heck happened to you guys? I thought you used to believe in something? Something close to the empathy we share as vegans for your fellow human being as well. I just watched a poor guy get reamed out for kindly asking for a paper bag and not having 95cents after spending $50+ on 2 bowls and a smoothie. He offered to pay with card and he still got attitude from the fearless employee that was snapping at him. I didn t say anything and proceeded to eating my açai bowl which tastes like blended ice. When did profits become the end goal for the last place that preaches they are about something more meaningful. After speaking the world of this place for many years and being a return customer whenever I m around, the açai quality was the last straw. Shameful
Yum. Delicous, beyound expectation
Buddha Fulls food & beverage options are healthy, convenient, and they always taste great. Plus, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if youre looking for a quick bite.
Im not vegan and Im not planning to be one anytime soon. Still I really liked the food and drink. Got some tips from Vegan friend though.
Great vegan, plant based food options. Tons of options both hot and cold. The grilled cheese was our fav by far. Service was a little rude and was a little short when answering our questions about the menu. They also made us leave the restaurant half way through our meal but the meal itself was great so all in all- not a bad experience
Really cute bistro/Cafe joint with breakfast and lunch options! Being vegetarian I find it hard to find a good acai bowl, so this place has been a good hit! The atmosphere is really nice and makes for a nice pace to sit in and enjoy your food or drink. They also have some outdoor seating area too for those sunny days! My favorite order is the Nut-thing better acai bowl - amazing!!
amazing
As a non-vegan I can vouch for this place, bought the Coastal Vibes bowl and it was great! Nice balance of different textures and tastes, would definitely eat here again!
Edit: tried their new blue coconut smoothie - so chunky it s not swallowable, they rarely have gluten free snacks anymore like they did a few years ago Not always the most consistent for food and coffee is sometimes burnt
The most expensive smoothie Ive ever bought but wanted to support a local business. I had high hopes. But it tasted like nothing. Basically a big cup of blended ice that was brown and slightly bitter. Very odd, not a hint of banana or dates or anything else that was supposed to be in there. First time I ve ever thrown out a smoothie.
Their vegan bowls are flavorful. Recommended. Vegetarian options: Available. Everything is vegetarian.
The smoothies are delicious but certainly not okay with the amount of plastic waste that they use. Take about 8 minutes in the store and see how much of it is recycled.. Again, not okay.
My partner got me a takeout salad here as I remembered this place being awesome but it was pretty disappointing this time. The hemp seeds were sprinkled over the dressing s plastic container, the veggies did not look fresh, the tofu was very bland, and the salad was overall very dry. For those prices, I d expect better quality. It s gone downhill in my opinion :(
Really great healthy Vegan food. Will be back. Also loved the Lemon cookie.
Such a lovely place ,with some cool env friendly product choices. Would love to be back for more
EXCELLENT. Filling bowls (they are a good portion) with a great selection of smoothies AND pastries (cookies etc). We will be back!
Food was amazing but I didnt like the drinks at all. Also, tables werent very clean and things were a bit overpriced Vegetarian options: Vegan and gluten friendly
Amazing smoothies
Lovely plant based Vegan place. The menu is created with everything natural and healthy ingredients. I give it 4 of 5 just cause I found the tahini sauce super salty! (And I LOVE salt, I put it in everything). In talking with the manager if this is the usual consistency, he said yes and sorry. I wasn t looking for my money back nor a replacement to the dish, perhaps add (paid) ingredient to diffuse the saltiness. Good vibes good a long way!
Great place! Love their smoothies and sandwiches! Had an acai bowl today but that wasnt too great unfortunately. Felt like I was eating (not drinking) fruit juice with bananas and strawberries haha. Still a great place though!
Refreshingly delicious!
I went in with my son and ordered a vibrancy-c smoothie. The turmeric was very overwhelming in it, so we asked if it normally tasted this strong and they were very accommodating and happy to make us a new one without the turmeric. The staff was exceptionally friendly and in the end we walked out super happy! Thanks Felix!
Açai bowl is good, the consistency is a bit runny for my liking, it was very watery, I prefer a thicker consistency, flavours were still good though.
tasty!
Really great site, and the food is always good. The only gripe I have is Im pre-diabetic and sugar content is rather important. I wish there was nutrition content listings for each product online, they said they would consider it but still dont see it. Thanks.
Had the Tuscan sausage wrap with kale caesar. Service was friendly and food was awesome.
Always a good idea to eat here, absolutely worth the price! The best spot for summer smoothies and a walk to the pier.
Just love it
Sooo good! Tried the coastal vibes bowl and was not disappointed!
Portions are a little on the small side. For the avocado toast I had, I ended up with one full piece of toast and a half a toast. I dunno if its supposed to be like that but Ive always had avocado toast with two slices. I mean, for the price, Id expect two full slices of toast but thats just me. Otherwise, their coffee and food was good! More on the expensive side but the atmosphere was nice. Only thing I can say is that theyve got alot of waste going on. Everything is not reusable in that store as they put food in take out containers (even though it is recycle-able). As a vegan or veggie place, Id hope that they would cut down on waste but I suppose its just one way to run a business. Id come again if I was in the mood for some veggies but would I come on purpose? Probably not.
My must have stop whenever Im in the Metro Vancouver area for a Mocha Maca Chaga, theyre my addiction! Any treat or meal Ive tried is also incredible
Very filthy, especially kitchen area. Very overpriced. Kyla doesn t know how to run a business, although Jeremy is a great chef.
Great options. Very good staff. Great selection of fresh tasty foods.
Great food and smoothies, but VERY expensive.
Nice chill vibe and was delicious, also dogs are allowed inside and outside!
Really like it here. Its been a staple for me for wholesome, fulfilling vegan food. I also like the products they select for their small retail section - always bringing in new things to try. I will be honest though: everytime I order my regular smoothie it seems to come out different, and maybe 1 of 6 tastes like ice and almond milk , but I let it go because I really appreciate this establishment and what it offers the community.
Ok Im healthier going here.
I think this is one of my new top favorite restaurants now. The options are wide, and the flavors really stimulate the taste buds. I hope to see more locations of Buddha-Full throughout BC for better access to these delicious eats. These foods give me the boost of energy I need in my day. Very grateful for this establishment. Ill surely be a reoccurring customer.
Super friendly staff.
I just paid $14.95 for a smoothie that tastes just about as good as the bottom of my shoe. Stick to body energy.
Fresh and delicious food. Friendly service.
Unfortunately, didnt have a great experience at this particular location. It was very slow service for a smoothie and a bowl. The flavours were overpowered by the acidic sauce. The staff were not very friendly and even though it was just a food order, it was a bit of an uncomfortable experience (possibly judgmental) from staff. A side question is, is there a reason there were 5 females out front and the only male in the restaurant was in the back? I am also editing this to say thank-you from the owner for their response. Always appreciated when you take the time and care.
Excellent as always! I had the coastal bowl and a dig deep drink. The drink was perfectly sweet and invigorating, while the bowl was fresh and filling. 10/10!
Great food , Love the concept which everything is vegan no animal products.i eat almost 3 to 4 times a week in one of the locations and I love them both with Friendly and Beautiful the staff
Lovely boho ambience but too hot inside to sit inside, even on a 24 degree day. The menu is very expensive for having everything plant-based but I guess that s the name of the game these days as it s trending!
I was a regular customer for Coastal Vibes item on their menu. But today I noticed they just cut all the ingredients by half, while the price is still 14.xx. Basically with tax and tip, I pay close to 20 dollars for a snack. I still needed to get a sandwich from the other shop beside Budda-Full, so Ill be full. The only way, I change my review back to 5 star is I be refunded for half of what I paid. I feel being taken advantage of, when I trust you and come back regularly but you guys cut from ingredients and give me half what you always gave in the past. Im sure youve lost many others too.
We made it JUST in time for last call and I m so grateful we did! We had the fiesta wrap, coastal vibes bowl, buddha-licious and vibrance-c smoothie! Delicious and full of flavour!
The smoothies are really good but the staff are so slow!! Over ten minutes to make a smoothie when I was the only one in the store.
Food is good but service is slow and don t expect a smile.
This place is so amazing!!! The desserts are like the best vegan desserts ever
Amazing place to eat, lots of variety and a large menu and made with quality ingredients
Pleasantly surprised. Food is made with fresh and whole ingredients. Exactly what we prefer. Friendly atmosphere. Efficient service. We will be back.
Amazing food and atmosphere! Been looking for a Plant based cafe with good healthy food made with love. I ll be coming back more often!
First time here: Nice vibe with pleasant decor. Friends staff. Had the a special or seasonal bowl that I don t see on the online menu (and forget the name). It had a peanut sauce with tofu, rice, kale, chick peas, yam, and more. It was served up nice and hot and very fast. Wonderful, fresh ingredients. Although tasty, the bowl was a bit heavy on the sauce that or the sauce is just a bit rich for my liking. Either way, it was served unmixed, so if I get it again I ll just mix the sauce in less. Overall good experience and looking forward to coming back and trying a smoothy.
This food is so subpar, especially for the price. Id recommend just going to a grocery store and just buying a kit salad.
Delicious bowls and friendly staff. Nice environment to sit and have some lunch!
Had the Tuscan wrap and it was delicious!
Healthy and tasty!!
Super trendy and cozy decor. Amazing vegan menu - super great food and quality customer service. Clean and delicious!
Everything was amazing
This place is amazing!! But I will say that this location is 100% better than Dollarton Highway. Bigger portions, friendlier staff. Amazing food!!
I spent 7 dollar for a croissant and they gave me a day old one.
Poor service, expensive, small portions, and ignorant staff. The cashier was the only pleasant experience. Why is this place still open?
Abysmal customer service - the staff were too cought up with hugging each other to make my order. I waited for 15 minutes for a smoothie, baked goods and an Americano. The food and smoothie was admittedly quite good, but the Americano tasted like rebrewed coffee. Save your money, go to booster juice.
The food was good but we were really disappointed how much plastic they used in everything.. (even plastic cutlery). Really disappointing for a vegan place that should be more eco conscious!
Completely overrated! I ve tried them a few times already but every time I go my bowl Comes differently. No consistency. You can tell the ingredients are good but the final product isn t always tasty.
Absolutely LOVE Buddha-Full in Northwoods, but this one in Lower Lonsdale really doesnt quite hit the mark. Food is okay but orders have been missed so often end up with one person eating later. Service is also sometimes less than friendly, which doesnt encourage local loyalty.
Sooo yummy n excellent service
A place with a beautiful vibe to go.
Healthy taste = tasteless But Im still healthy so Im going
The wild at heart is amazing!!
Delicious giant lunch vegetarian and vegan bowls and raw desserts!!
Really great vegan food priced competitively. Nice atmosphere. Had a bowl, which was delicious.
Buddha-Full: This is a tough review to write because North Vancouver needs more vegetarian and vegan options. You re food is great but it could be even better if there was attention to detail and consistency (the right kind of consistency). And this goes for both your locations. I tried to rub this off as a byproduct of Covid, but it s not. As you can see by the photo, food preparation and presentation is consistently poor (food never comes close to looking like your professional photos) and the customer services is below par at best - why are all the staff at both locations sitting on a high horse? Treat people with respect and care and that you appreciate the fact that people are coming to your restaurant... Consistently good food, consistently good food presentation/preparation and consistently good customer service creates the culture of your restaurant and provides the experience for customers to want to come back. I won t be making my weekly visits anymore as I know all I m going to get fed is slop. I know the owners and the management know all of what makes a restaurant great with what I pointed out already, but clearly there are systemic issues that need to get resolved since this happens consistently at both locations.
Had great lunch yesterday sat outside cool, fall day with a good friend and Fiesta lunch
Very cute place, nice interior design, very chill. I ordered matcha latte and it was great! So cute, very delicious, you can switch between oat milk or almond milk, i chose to almond milk and it was great. Love it.
I got the grilled please sandwich for takeout and it was missing half the ingredients that were listed on their menu. It was still really good for what I got, but for something that was $15 where your sandwich is missing half the fillings, its pretty disappointing when you get home and its too late to do anything about it. I dont know if Id want to return to a cafe that doesnt make their higher-priced food correctly. Make sure to double check your order of you go!!
Loveeee love love both locations. Friendly staff and good vibe atmosphere! We love all the tasty vegan food and love introducing my friends to BuddhaFull
