I love this place. Been here twice and it’s soooo good. The owner is so kind and so quick with the orders. Everything tastes delicious and so full of flavor, amazing portions as well. 20/10 will always come back here for pho!
We hosted a birthday celebration recently and arranged catering through Pho North Vancouver. The food was absolutely delicious, juicy, and beautifully presented. Our experience with them was truly fantastic. We will certainly be using their catering services again for future events. I highly recommend giving this place a try. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, and by the end of the night, there wasn't a single crumb left.
dined here and had an excellent bowl of veggie pho with peanut sate! staff were very helpful and quick
First time being here and I asked what’s the different between Small and large ,she ( the owner) no smile and told me everywhere is the same and walk away ! The soup is very salty ,and only give little of meat , for this portion of pho for $17 small size ?! won’t come back again
I was on the hunt for a different Vietnamese restaurant after having an unpleasant experience at a different restaurant, so my friend and I decided to order takeout from here, what a great find! Again, we ordered takeout, so I can only speak to that aspect at this time, and not the atmosphere, service or dine-in experience. Food presentation was great, all items were separated (e.g. noodles for soup, veggies and garnish were all in separate containers, so they didn’t keep cooking or get mushy en route home). We shared Chicken and Chicken Ball Soup and added veggies, Grilled Chicken with Vermicelli and Spring Rolls, as well as Shrimp Salad Rolls. Salad rolls come with two, but were cut into four, which made sharing easy. Shrimp was fresh, had nice flavor, lettuce was clean and crisp. The peanut sauce had a very mild peanut flavor compared to others, it’s good, but I wish it had a touch more flavor. The grilled chicken with vermicelli was exactly what I’d hoped for from this dish since it’s a favorite; it was refreshing to the palate, had fresh ingredients, wasn’t greasy, and the house made fish sauce elevated it. I’d recommend getting the combo that comes with a Prawn Skewer, it’s similar in price, but takes the meal up a notch. Spring rolls were good; however, I wish they were veggie instead of pork, but that’s a personal preference. Had I realized they were pork, I could’ve asked if they’d swap for veggie. They give generous soup portions, making it another shareable dish. The broth had nice flavor, while not being overly salty, and there was generous amount of chicken. For the price we paid and the quality, quantity and presentation of the food we received, we were very pleased. I’ll definitely order here again, and recommend it to others!
Beef Noodle was so delicious, beautifully presented, with more bean sprout and herbs than I’ve ever received at any other Vietnamese restaurant! Service was Quick.CLEAN . Highly recommended ✨
I was excited to try this place. I was under the weather for a few days and figured that a bowl of pho would have been a really good remedy. I ordered the chicken and rare beef. The server or owner asked me chicken or beef which I thought was weird and then in a rude manner she said the broth. I didn't realize that there was a selection between chicken or beef but I chose chicken. When the food arrived, I was shocked to see an appalling amount of chicken and beef. Both cooked very well done. The protein that's I'm holding with the chopsticks and one of the photos is literally all of the meat that came with the pho. Really absurd! Then, when I went to reach for the hoisin, i realized that all the contents on the bottom were fermented. Gross. As you can tell by the photos, those bubbles is fermentation, which means that they've just been adding fresh product on top of old product. This alone shows unsanitary food practices, and can get someone very sick.🤢 (The owner replied with the fermentation being because of a main ingredient. Yes it is the main ingredients but this photo shows poor food safe handling, by pouring new product on top of old.) Just own it. 😒 Safe to say I lost my appetite. I did however take a few sips of the broth. Extremely salty. An overall dissatisfying experience and I will not be returning. Still on the hunt to find a good pho place
My go-to pho place on the North Shore. The staff is pretty quiet, but will bring whatever you need when you grab their attention. Pho is always delicious and comes out super fast. I find their Chinese spring rolls (wonton wrapped) are better than their Vietnamese spring rolls (rice paper wrapped). They don’t have a large beer selection, basically just the normal domestic light beer. Always get served hot tea.
I don t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, the customer service wasn t great. We were the only customers in the restaurant, but the staff member who served us was on the phone the entire time and only interacted with us to take our order. The food also didn t meet my expectations. The pho noodles were falling apart, making it difficult to pick them up with chopsticks I had to use a spoon instead. The meatballs had a soggy, jello-like texture, which was very unappealing. While I love Vietnamese food, I couldn t finish my meal because it didn t taste fresh, and I felt uncomfortable continuing. We ordered a bowl of pho, fried spring rolls, fresh rolls, and a side of white rice, and the bill came to $50. This felt overpriced considering the quality of the food and the lack of service. Unfortunately, I don t see myself returning, but I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for other customers. And yes, we went to the one on 14th street and was there around 6pm! I did not get the wrong restaurant.
Table was dirty , food was decent i think but my chicken sub was spicy & ny rare beef pho was spicy. Who makes spicy pho before adding your own hot sauce thats on the table? Perhaps it was just a fluke but 2 Vietnamese seniors came in & there table was immediately wiped down while ours was not. The lady waitress was very nice & accomadating
Big Pho portions Best Pho broth in north vancouver - nothing else is even half as good Chicken, beef, spicy, all absolutely delicious Other items are a bit expensive for the potion size, but still taste very good Staff have very poor English skills, and this can cause miscommunication and disappointment if you dont know what you are doing Staff are also very curt, no social niceties, can seem rude? But I think its just a lack of knowledge of cultural norms and English skills.
I like to write constructive reviews so businesses can improve. *arrived at approx 7:30/8pm on a Sunday *came to this restaurant because it had better reviews *pretty dingy and not very clean - some things (like door and windows) look like they have not been cleaned in months *3 of us all said Hello and she just tossed the menus on the table and said I will be back . *my daughters pho was delicious. *I ordered #22 (seafood chowmein) and got some beef dish instead. It was too late at night to send it back. The taste was ok. *there was 1 other family there already eating when we arrived but no one else came in. *when I went to pay the bill - the server(owner?) was sitting reading her phone and had her bare foot out of her shoe and in her hand. I m glad I had finished eating before I saw that. *every customer counts and I think it would help to make a little more effort to offer a welcoming environment, a clean establishment and get orders correct. Hope this review helps.
Good Pho fast service. Excellent food on a rainy day
Should have read the one star comments here before dining in. They can apologize using google translate as an excuse but got a first hand yelling over an order i had today. I ordered a fried beef over rice or noodle (looks good on their picture menu) but got a beef that looked like the beef they add in the soup. So I told them there must have been a mistake and it wasn t my order. The woman and the man in the kitchen charged at me and started yelling that it was my order. I had a horrible day today so I didn t engage.. i controlled myself just had our food and left. And to add to this, their washroom was filthy and I almost slipped going in cuz the floor was like it had oil spillage! Signing off as customer.
Had here Satay beef Pho. Less than regular amount of beef slices. The broth has stronger aroma than I use to know. You can have better for $18.50 before tax
I arrived at the restaurant to pick up my order, but the lady started yelling and was going to argue with me ! Why? Because I was 4 minutes earlier! She was very rude and angry with me. I never go back there again either as a customer or cruiser
The veggies pho is just not up to standard. Felt the owner cheaped out on ingredients, with a $19 per bowl with only cabbage and few broccoli. And there is no check in for service during the meal. Very disappointed.
I ordered the rare beef brisket and noodle soup. It barely had any meat and the meat was cut so thin, the soup had barely any flavour but it was so salty and they gave me so little basil and sprouts. Would not recommend. There are better pho places for the same price.
I ve been coming here for years. Food is always good. However today I was overcharged for my food and the woman at the till kept trying to say it was the right price. Be very careful with your bills. My sandwich was 9.99 on the menu, she charged me 11.50 plus tax. I ordered a cup of broth for $2.50 and she charged me $3.50. When I asked for a receipt she said no. She took a photo with my phone of the computer. She also said because I had to rush back to work at the hospital I would be charged 50 cents for take out containers. Even if this 50 cents was added on, it still doesn t add up the cost she charged me. When I mentioned it she gave more excuses. I don t think I will be back after this. You lost a long time customer. Definitely losing more than one customer with that response. You think I played on my phone and didn t eat when I was actually called to return to see a patient urgently. Myself and the other emergency staff members will not be returning to such a rude establishment who doesn t understand hospital work. Also that was my first break in 8.5 hrs and I work 12. So thank you for showing your true colours
Watching how this is disgraceful business responds to customers who are unsatisfied is absolutely atrocious. Do not dine here. Do not give them your business!! Having the sheer audacity to comment on somebody playing on their phone (hence taking time away from eating) and then needing a takeout container is absolutely NONE of your business and completely irrelevant to ANY situation. How dare you think that s okay practice? I am actually disgusted that you would ve even written such a tactless response to a customer who was first of all was unsatisfied with being overcharged with price discrepancies on your menu, and then you almost refusing to show a receipt and paper trail of said order. If you plan on staying in business any further, watch how you speak to your customers. Word travels fast via social media ;)
Delicious food and friendly service. Very flavourful soups and salad rolls, and the owner brought us complimentary fried wontons that we all enjoyed. Will definitely come back!
Tasty food and good people :)
Kind lady with amazing food everyone will love - best place to eat in North Vancouver after hours.
Best food
Sweet, rich pho broth, crispy spring rolls, fragrant, soft grilled meat... quiet, clean space... everyone should visit
Really good Pho! Thank you!
I love the Grilled Pork Sub here! It has the perfect amount of vegetables and tasty grilled pork with a smokey flavour. I also tried the Pho, and it s great! Thank you.
So delicious
Chill place, little bit of a hole in the wall, but the BEST beef broth in north van - very deep rich and flavourful.
I ordered the rare beef Pho and this is the best Pho I had in North Vancouver. The broth was amazing!
By far the best Pho I had in Vancouver. Most of Pho shops in downtown was subpar, especially with a sweet broth. But this restaurant soup is just right. Very good portion too. We ordered the Banh Min too and it was nice. Price is reasonable considering the portion size.
Great food great friendly atmosphere clean and fun place too go too eat a very fun clean fancy place too go
Been there in 2019, I had a Pho Sate with peanut sauce, and I tell you, I thought about this soup for 2 weeks straight after that, and I still think about it 5 years later. The only sad thing is that I live 5000 km from this restaurant, and my only hope is that its still open next time I go to Vancouver! The owners were very sweet too, on top of having the best pho soup in Canada.
The space is clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and enthusiastic. In particular, the food at Pho North Vancouver is very delicious and fresh. I like the pho here, delicious and attractive. Will come back in the future hybrid.
Food is decent and has a really good flavor.
Pho North Vancouver gave me a great dining experience. Delicious food, reasonable prices and comfortable space. Friendly staff and quick service. I am very satisfied and will definitely come back .
I feel happy coming back in this resto because food is good specially the chicken and beef soup. There are lots of good selections. I will recommend this resto to my family and friends. I even have extra order to go for my husband. The owner is also very nice to her customers. She deserved Five Stars Atmosphere
Pretty solid food not crazy expensive and the flavor is there some of the stuff could be hit or miss tho drinks are average service is average nothing to write home about but the people working are nice however the atmosphere needs work kinda dead inside would recommend maybe some light music in the background
Absolutely delicious pho and spring rolls
Food was so so and kind of pricey. Temperature wise, the pho wasnt piping hot like Im used to in other places. Instead it was just warm like I would get it by delivery services.
I have visited this place for the 6th time and decided to write a review for the more crowded restaurant. The shop has only been open for a year, but everything is perfect. Lets talk about space first: The shop has a cozy and very comfortable space, the toilet will also have small details to serve customers The staff has 2 extremely good and cute male friends. Friendly and attentive service. The food here is extremely standard and delicious. The food is fresh, I eat and feel good quality. The seasoning is just right, Ive eaten all over the US and Ive never had a delicious dry onion like here because the owner said that the shops dried onion was cut and fried at the restaurant. Extremely delicious. In general, it is perfect, everyone please visit to support this kind heart.
Got the chicken bahmi. The bun was okay. But little filling and even less chicken.
Rare beef noddle soup is below average. Sever doesn t really speak English and very rude. Spring roll is particularly disappointing, like chewing paper. Would rate this place zero star if possible Pretty sure the owner would pretend to be responsible to this message to lure in more customers.
Food was so fatty couldn t eat
Fantastic pho - can t wait to come back:)
Amazing pho, really delicious flavours would highly recommend. Also the staff/owners are super lovely.
Great testy BBQ Pho. Friendly stuff! Recommended!
Underrated
We had a great dinner here. The pho sate and mango bubble tea were amazing and the service was friendly and efficient. We ll be coming again if we re in the neighbourhood!
Not bad for quick meal.
Below average pho & Banh Mi. Would recommend you go somewhere else.
Had Pho Sate and it was incredible! Some of the best Pho I ve had.
I love this place. Ordered once on Skip the Dishes and it was so good I went into the restaurant because if the takeout was that good then eating in must be great. And it is! I always get the spicy peanut veggie pho and its the best Ive had on the North Shore. Chocked full of flavour, lots of veggies and tofu. Shrimp salad rolls, fried pork spring rolls and banh mi sandwiches are delicious and the bread is always fresh! Highly recommend. Its nothing fancy by any means but if you appreciate good Vietnamese food and you dont mind a No Frills atmosphere, go here for your next lunch!
Taste Pho, Good services, Good price
Asked owner for some cilantro, was told ok.. brought out 2 pho soups, when I reminded him of some extra cilantro, said they are running very low on cilantro and that there was some already in the broth... 5 minutes after my food was delivered, got up to ask him for some soy sauce, he scrambled around and gave me a bottle of Maggie seasoning... Service was mediocre at best, pho broth wasnt very flavorful, maybe due to the lack of a splash of soy sauce, when I was done with having a couple of bites of pho, and waited for my check, owner came around and asked if I needed a refill on water prior to asking for a check.. The place was empty on a Sunday afternoon, Mother Day.. Good broth takes 18-20 hours to prepare.. this broth tasted like it might of had a 5-6 hour simmer at best..
I always buy Vietnamese food from this restaurant, and they never disappoint . Prices are really good and affordable, and the lady working there always helps customers with good service ( tea / water / side dishes) Food
had vermicelli and bahn mi. delicious. we come here often for the soup and bahn mi special. great little place to have in the area Parking: lots of parking spots on 14th st, we havent had issues finding a spot but depending on the time of day it might get busier.
A great Mom and Pop Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of North Vancouver. Not very attractive from the outside, but definitely worth going in. Large portions, friendly service, and reasonable prices. I especially liked the Papaya Bubble Tea.
Decent pho if you are looking for one in north van
Great pho place in North Van! Taste was great and fast service! Got the 9 small and sate pho, both were great! Go visit for some good bowls of pho! Food : 5/5
The spring rolls are good but other than that the food was very plain. Super pricy as well.
Great place! Reminded me of my travels through Vietnam. Food was authentic and flavourful. Will definitely be coming back!
The best pho and chicken salad wraps with peanut sauce! The peanut sauce is AMAZING! Really friendly owner who remembers you. Not fancy inside but I still like eating in. Great locals spot.
I love the food here!!!
My beef pho (pictured) was delicious.. she ordered the pho sate (back of the menu) and that was AMAZING..! Great pho for a great price!
Banh Mi was great.
Breaks my heart to write this as this was my favourite pho in north Vancouver. Sadly today I found a beetle in my pho. When I approached the staff they first tried to deny the insect in my food claiming it to be an onion. They even tried to grab it from me to make the problem go away. Really sucks, they make amazing food but just horrible hygiene in their location.
Excellence from appetizer to dessert.
Friendly restaurant, offering exquisite food, with impeccable service, in a delightful place to have a great time. For a quick test for those who do not know.
Great pho restaurant. Highly recommend.hihi
Excellent broth!
Good food, decent portions, polite service and reasonable prices. That about sums up our first experience at Pho North Vancouver. The combo plates we ordered were tasty and nicely presented.
The food was quite good. I would come back there. I loved the chicken Banh Mi and the spicy beef pho. The staff was kind too
Good taste. It was the most similar taste of Phô in southern Vietnam.
This business is barely breaking even. Large Pho extra meat $29 wow. The noodles are more like a small bowl. You can tell that they have made cuts on thier Pho to save money. Barely any hotsauce and hoisin sauce and scraps for bean sprouts. Used to be better years ago . Sad
The food is good but the service is quite bad.we came there with our disability client but one of the staff was mean.
Neat and fancy decor, delicious and unique dishes, great value for money: a great discovery, thanks to those of you who booked our appointment with us.
Quality Vietnamese cuisine. Served by the owner.
If youre ever to crave eating pho, come try this out.
Not the first time, recently ordered their Stir Fried Teriyaki Chicken but its more like a boiled chicken to me, nevertheless doesnt taste very good. Update Dec/2023: their chicken noodle pho also used to be good, specially if you caught a cold or you need just a warn and soothing soup, but interestingly this time it came only with chicken sausage instead of actual chicken pieces!!! Im not sure honestly how to think about that, may be they ran out of chicken or something!
Best pho in the northshore. The broth just by itself is amazing. I gotta say the owners do an amazing job keeping the food taste amazing everytime we order
Pho seems good but timing is off. Waited lomg after the time he d told me to pick up.
Amazing. Forgot to take a picture of the vegetarian sub, but as you can see it is no more. One of the best sandwiches I ve ever had, and can predict that I ll be dreaming about it at night.
Best Vietnamese beef stew Ive ever had!
If youre looking for delicious broth this is a great pho soup! I personally like the wonton noodle soup, but its all good. Pho places arent supposed to be luxurious in my opinion, its the taste that matters.
Delicious supper! Friendly service!
Great food, simple restaurant.
Pho broth is excellent, and clear. However, the pho noodles were just awful. Chewy and in clumps. As if, they were pre-cooked, preportioned, and sitting out ready to be topped with hot soup. Rare sliced beef came out well done, and probably a little over 100g. Although the soup was prepared well, I wont be coming back. At $14 and change for a large, not good value for money here. Very hard to find a good pho restaurant on the north shore.
Great tasting Chinese food! Was definitely worth the visit
Great food. Great price. Great value and friendly, fast service. Took my oldest daughter for the first time and she was in love. Thanks!
I ordered dinner here for takeout. It cost about $50 for two people... two vermicelli and rice dishes with a small appetizer. Most of the ingredients were fine, but the chicken was really subpar - basically, it looked and tasted like utility grade chicken. At this price point, I expected much better. Maybe I was just unlucky.
Got my regular Pho Tai with extra basil to go. It was scrumptious, a small was very filling. Broth is nice, not to thin, gentle spices. Lots of meat, noodles are nice firmness and evenly cut
Ordered the chicken, springroll, and vermicelli dish. The portions were generous - it was enough to feed me for lunch and dinner. The food tasted good as well.
Delicious!
I want to give 3.5. The service is good. Chicken is good but the rice is not soft enough.
Service good, taste excellent, must try
Amazing. Best pho on the north shore. Quality ingredients, great service, we will definitely be back!
Probably most tasty pho in North Vancouver.
I came here on a special trip and was a bit disappointed. The price was much higher than the menu I saw on the map. There were a lot of flies and it was not very tidy. I was very thirsty after eating. (Note: Of course I knew I had to order msg, but I felt thirsty after eating Vietnamese food for the first time in Vancouver, which proved that msg was a big portion) Bonus points for service.
Highly recommend Every meal I ate was excellent, it is a very good restaurant and the owner is so nice
Kinda overpriced I feel. Should probably be a $$ place, not $ After tip, a pho was over $18 But maybe that s just the north shore.
NOPE. Im not paying 20 for pork chop and rice and getting a mystery meat. I order the chop because I can see its a chop and not the mystery meat ...that I got. A chop is a nice piece of meat with grill marks and its known flavor. What I got was a boneless, soft, no char, sour meat. SHUT UP. Dont tell me its a pork chop.
Ordered 10a. The most delicious pho I ve ever had. Fantastic broth in particular.
This was the yummiest Pho noodle soup I ve ever had, and I ve tried alot of Pho! I had the vegetable noodle with beef soup and the broth was just delicious. Pho North Vancouver is now my go-to in the lower mainland.
Super quick and easy lunch. The beef brisket pho was delicious!
I have been to many vietnamese restaurants and I have never seen a price of Bun Bo Hue $18!!! I understand that there is inflation and everything been expensive but 50% to 60% up after pandemic!!!They raised the price, and also cut the portion of meat! The grilled chicken on wanton noodle is $15.75 . Picture shows whole grilled chicken but when the soup came there were a few slices of skimpy chicken. The broths were tasty because of MSG loaded. We were so dehydrated after the meal from eating mostly carbs with hardly any meat. With hardly any service, like most hospitality industries 18% min tip is crazy. The cashiers in groceries do more service, do we tip them?
Wow, the price range is like for good restaurant with 13-17$ for meal. Not worth it here.
Ordered two pho soups and they taste incredible!
Decent bowl good price
So good! Finally got to try a bon mi and the ingredients were super fresh! I got the grilled chicken one and it was perfect, 10000% recommend
Great food ..definitely recommend going..great broth!! I got the beef short ribs damn so good and I said of broth. Left very satisfied
Great local little Pho place!!! Great broth, and spring rolls. Good service and clean. Recommended!
Dont waste your money at this restaurant. Besides over priced ingredients are lacking: ex. salad roll without mint leaves, bean sprouts and pork; spring roll like skinny fries and worse soaked with oil (looks like old and re-deep fried); milk shake tasted weird. Dont know how it gets 4.0 rating..seriously?! Probably those dont know what is authentic Vietnamese food like.
The pho here is more expensive than all the other regular pho places Ive been to. The noodles were delicously al dente, but other than that, nothing special. They likely use MSG in their broth bcuz I was VERY thirsty afterwards. No choice btw the small or large pho. One-sized pho starts at $13.40. Their spring rolls were $8.50.
Nice, fast and delicious
The best Pho Ive had for a long time! Thanks!
Great Pho and great appies! Will be back for sure!
Really good basic place for Chicken Pho. Not great decor but the food was tasty and satisfying.
Some of the best pho I ve had in Vancouver!
Good food
This used to be a great place to eat. Good prices and no msg. The only place I could ever eat due to allergies. All of a sudden there is a need to add msg to your soups, apparently the new chef doesnt have a flavour palette and feels the need to add brain damaging chemicals to your menu. Losing clients is the way to go on this decision. Very unfortunate as I have recommended so many people over the years.
Ordered for delivery: the noodles were beautifully done, bean sprouts crisp and fresh, all meat was excellent. The baked mussels were a treat as well. Containers did not leak broth, and the portions were large. Thank you, new favourite pho on the north shore!
Very low costumer service. Rude and impolite. Could have been a good place, just fix your costumer service.
Pho always delicious here, started going when I moved back to the North Shore a year ago and now order almost every time its raining. Take out is packaged well, and always better when you pick it up yourself! Springs rolls and deep fried wontons are nice sides.
No taste in broth. Expensive.
I have been to many Pho restaurants across Canada and I tell you this is one of the best!
I liked the pho. Was super spicy !
This is one of the best pho places i have ever been to it taste great and it doesn t take too long for them to get your food ready and fair prices too
Do not eat here if youre coming for pho. Everything is pretty sub par, yet they will still charge you Vancouver prices for it. The broth is not terribly flavorful, the portions are small, and the spring rolls look like they came out of 7-11. Edit* tried their Bahn mi sandwiches, had two pieces of hard cilantro stems in it you wouldn t want to eat, pretty sub par. Gave them another chance after 3 yrs but guess it s same old. Be weary of this place, there is a reason why they lure people in with the whole free spring roll/pop deal. Theres another pho place down the street on Lonsdale that is pretty bomber, I suggest walking the extra 5 mins to go there instead.
Very tasty, good value and the vietnamese coffee was yes.
I came with friends on a Wednesday evening and there were not many people. The owner served us and was very attentive and kind. We got an appetizer and pho and it came quickly and tasted good. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained. Its a small nice restaurant that I would recommend!
Serious eats here
Their raw beef pho is delicious!
Love their food!
What a warm experience! The thought of it each time makes me want to go back. From the time you step you you are greeted by the warm owner who sits you down, brings you a cup of hot tea and lets you take a look at the expansive menu. We have ordered dozens on different items from the restaurant and nothing has disappointed us as yet. My favourite is the peanut sate pho and the fired wantons but would highly recommend a grilled rice plate or vermicelli bowl (they are all delicious)...Great service, very quick prep time, mouth watering food - what more could you ask for? Highly recommend!
Probably best Vietnamese food on North Shore
So far only had tasty pho in generous portions and great customer service, and just now felt compelled to leave a review while watching an employee sprint out the door and down the street after a customer when he realized one item didn t make it in the bag
Not my usual Pho spot. But hey it is now. Great selection and a good honest bowl of Pho.
Tried it for the first time today through skip the dishes; Pho Tai is great, good broth and also their vegetarian salad rolls are delicious ! The peanut sauce is amazing .
Excellent customer service, the food is good but they can improve, they have delivery.
We loved this place. Very Vietnamese and great prices. Big portions and healthy foods. I would definitely go back.
3.75 stars. I had number 15 vermacelli bowl with grilled pork, shrimp on sugarcane, and spring rolls. Food came quick. Average size portion. Flavour was good. More pickled veggies on the vemacelli at Pho Long on Fraser St. Sugar cane shrimp is really small compared to Hai Phong on Kingsway.
Tasty pho and nice service.
Got take-out pho and it was delicious! Nice clean, clear broth with lots of flavor and the texture of the noodles was superb!
The food is tasty and well put together. I recommend the veggie tofu rolls, healthy and great textures. The beef pho is clean and Im always happy after crushing a bowl. Last week I ordered delivery and a mistake was made, I called and the owner dropped off my missed items within 15 mins. That is amazing customer service, please support your local businesses!
Huong, the owner, makes consistently excellent food. The salad rolls are always fluffy and light, yet flavourful and filling. The soups are hearty and the portions are so large that I can get two meals out of each. During the COVID-19 lockdown, their take out food was just as good. It was amazing that Huong was working EVERY day from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM without fail. Now that restaurants are allowed to serve food, they have assigned specific tables to have your meal to keep physical distancing in place. The restaurant, including the toilet, is very clean.
Reasonable price for the good quality of food and service. Dine in is available.
A fun place for comfort food. Quick service and nice size portions for the cost!
very delicious
Delicious food and great service!
Best Vietnamese food in all of Vancouver let alone North Van! Beautiful colorful dishes and attention to detail appreciated. Love the satay pho bowl and everything else is so tasty and at such a great value.
Love all their dishes. So so good. Great salad roll selection and the best dipping sauce.
Not bad food, I always order from skip the dishes...havent been in the place.
I think I would have been happy if the banh mi had a little more volume. The pho was very delicious, and the plate where you could choose between rice and noodles was very filling! It tastes like freshly fried spring rolls! The staff at the restaurant are friendly and you can eat comfortably even with children.
Best Pho in the North Shore
Best pho
Ive gotten take out from here a few times. Its always pretty good, and decent sized portion. I do prefer it to the other Vietnamese restaurant around the corner.
Food is okay .. service is terrible !!
Its what it says on the packet
Ok but not into vietnamese food too much
I got Pho at this place recently and when I got home I was surprised to find that one of the slices of lime was already chewed up placed in the bag with the green peppers and sprouts. It was disgusting. Never going back to this place again.
Not bad food, pricing should be better.
I took my friends here for lunch the food was excellent we will come again
For us this place has one of the best Pho s in the Vancouver area also the baked Muscles are delicious. The service here was excellent and meals fresh and fast. Cleanliness of the bathroom was a real concern and not at all acceptable.
Best pho on the North Shore. Seafood and veggie options are nice too.
Worst take out service ever. The person taking our order didnt understand English well at all, dispite repeating order numerous times. Still got it all wrong. Ordered beef ball pho, got no beef balls just rare beef. No bean sprouts, basil, lime or jalapeno severed with the two pho. My husband ordered spicy pho and got the same peanut saute broth as me. When we phoned to explain our problem, he thought we were trying to place an order!!! Never ordering from here again. No customer service. :(
Good service and lot of vegetables . We will definitely do there again
My favourite pho is their grilled chicken offering. Love it. I wouldnt bother trying to use the washroom here if you use a wheelchair.
Good service.
Delicious food
I love their pho!!!!Really nice place and friendly staff thank you

The manager is so rude impolite and her behaviour is terrible also she doesnt know English and she shouts instead of talking.
Low quality food and bad taste and the manager was not polite so do not waste your money.
The services so bad and the manager did not answer me she is so impolite
Great food
Nice cheap prices for pho and good customer service!
I ordered takeout and while I was sitting waiting in the restaurant, the lady at the counter was kind enough to offer me a cold water or tea. The veggie spring rolls were awesome, nice and crispy. I had a veggie pho which was pretty good, too.
Great food, great service. What else can I say? Been coming here for years, love love love it!
My favorite pho place. Super friendly waiters. My family loves it here too.
Best PHO
I had want eating bun-cha. Similar dish eaten and recommended you for asking, and it was really successful. ngon!
I ve only had the chicken pho, ordered through skip and it arrived so fast. The soup was delicious. I m so happy to find a yummy pho place in NV because I ve been loyal to only one downtown.
I decided to try this place on a whim, ordering grilled chicken pho and strawberry bubble tea. I had been really craving both and this restaurant offered them (though there was no tapioca pearls, just coconut jelly). The staff was nice, didn t mind when I had to run out to take a call, the food was relatively cheap and it s located in a nice spot. Anyways, I got extremely violently ill after eating here. I still enjoyed the bubble tea though.
