What a great dining experience. Vanessa, the restaurant manager was superb as well. I enjoyed the meals. The porridge and Jollof rice was epic. The ice cream had the best the consistency too.
The food was alright, the service good, but the prices are truly ridiculous. How does a suburban restaurant charge almost twice as much as the downtown Nigerian places, which undoubtedly have higher rents to pay? I wouldn't mind paying that much for a fine-dining experience, but this restaurant ain't that. The food is slightly above average, the decor kitschy (not in a good way), the music incredibly loud and there are way too many distracting screens on the wall. I can totally ignore the last three disadvantages if the food was great - but I got 2 tough pieces of chicken (though the dish was "soft chicken jollof") with jollof and a salad for 40$ + taxes + tip. Never again.
I’ve been debating on sharing my review because I love black businesses doing their thing and I don’t want to say anything negative. Accidentally stumbled on this restaurant — really beautiful environment! The food is also tasty. Appetizer and drink prices are totally fair. Now the Local soup prices like egusi, efo riro for $45.00 is preposterous 😳 This restaurant is also located in an industrial area. Granted that it’s a new business, I understand wanting to break even but in my opinion, it’s such a reachhh cost wise. Maybe if it were a different soup, such as white soup where there’s a complex ingredient profile and complicated art to making the dish, I could understand $45.00 I don’t think this restaurant is priced competitively. The portions are even smaller than more local Nigerian restaurants within a 15 mile radius for $25-30. It’s a beautiful environment which is why I would return for special occasions but to come to this restaurant regularly to get quick local chop— I don’t think it’s affordable. I eat out regularly so it’s not a budgetary thing — but I guess depending on the objective of this restaurant, then their cost could be justified. If they’re looking for once in a while customers with a one time big cheque.. then it’s a finer dining Nigerian restaurant. I just think given the ambience, fair price of drinks and apps and a reduced price local soup, the restaurant would make much more bang for their buck because I live near by. I’d have come back many times if costs were more fair.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing experience at Naija villa, a big shoutout to rose mary she was simply the best and sweetest Cozy atmosphere, impeccable service, and delicious food. Can't wait to return!
I enjoyed the food that I ordered which were the Sides dishes. I.e: Fish and fries along with spring rolls. The Main dishes are on the higher price. However, the food is delicious and I received a great service for a first visit.
Food was so amazing and the restaurant manager was so nice, friendly and attentive to every customer present. Definitely recommend, 10/10 experience!
Amazing experience here. We visited from the states and of course wanted a taste for good Nigerian food. The food was TOP NOTCH. The owner was so nice to also give us free puff puff and engaged in conversation with us. You guys, I can’t emphasize enough how amazing the food is. We ordered a variety of things and every single meal came out to be delicious. Wonderful cooks as well. Well done!
I had the amazing opportunity to visit Naija Villa for my husband's birthday. I was really excited to see a Nigerian high-end restaurant and our visit did not disappoint. The ambience was amazing, the decor is exquisite and the food was simply divine. I love the intentionality with this business. The furnishing choices, the branded dishes, the elegant cutlery, the various photo walls, the uniforms, the fabric choices, wallpapers and so much more - you can see that this establishment was carefully thought out and executed. To sit in such a beautiful place and then be blown away with delicious food made this a 20/10 experience. We had the Obalenda platter for our appetizer and it was hands down the best suya we ever had. The signature smokey jollof rice of Suya City remained consistent here, and the Ila Asepo was rich and flavorful. The pricing matches the flavor and ambience of this place. We will definitely be back again!!
Ate my heart s content. And the portions are good. Food
The food was delicious. The area was clean and good customerservice.
Every single thing about the spot is perfect ESPECIALLY the food
Very lovely and delicious food with great customer service from Rosemary
This is my Second time coming her and I ordered food to go this time around. Like the first time I got their Ofada designer sauce and just like the first time it was AMAZING. Such great quality of food and you can tell a lot of care is taken when they are preparing their meals. The Asaro and Okra were also great, as well as the Shrimp curry! No complaints!!
Beautiful environment and excellent customer service. However, the food is not competitively priced compared to other quality African restaurants in town. Expect to spend north of $50 per meal.
My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience. From the cocktails to the appetizers to the mains (highly recommend the smokey jollof rice), it was a 11/10 experience. Vanessa both the store manager and server was so kind - we will definitely be coming back!
Food was amazing, served at the right time. You should try the asun, all round it was superb.
Impressive, I love the ambience, the food and service.
Really good place with good food
Hands down the best experience with a Nigerian restaurant in Canada.
Service was really good and fast, food was also very tasty. Their suya was authentic 9ja suya, the cocktails were also very good. Ambience was also good. Nikki was also very amazing. Will definitely be back! Food

Beautiful restaurant, offers a variety of different foods along with exquisite flavors. Service is top tier and was treated very nicely along with my companions. The set up inside is also really nice by the way and gives a real feel of an authentic Nigerian restaurant! Love it.
