Nice atmosphere and vibes. The best Kibo location, hands down. The food is always great. They have a good special for take out but dining in is also a great experience. Would highly recommend the aburi set and red dragon.
We ordered for delivery and the presentation was excellent! My new favourite sushi place to order from! They had a promo and we received the chicken gyozas for free. We will definitely order from them again.
Patronized their food stand at the Korean food festival at Mel Lastman Square, on August 25, 2024. We ordered our food and sat down to eat by their stand. While eating our food; I saw food being taken out of the back of a vehicle to their food stand for replenishment of what they were selling to patrons. There was no covers, covering the food and the worst part was, what food wasn't brought under the tent was left outside the tent in the open. There was garbage and boxes near the open food. When they were ready for it, they just picked it up and then served it to waiting patrons. This is Canada and they are food safety standards in place for a reason and this is totally unacceptable.
A friend and I have been twice so far. Both times we enjoyed our meals. Was quiet as we went around 4 pm, but it was getting busy as we left. For me, it's close to home, and I may step in for some take-out after work soon.

Each time we order, the sushi has been consistently delicious, with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail in the presentation. The portion sizes are satisfying, and it’s clear that the team takes pride in ensuring that their food looks as good as it tastes. We’ve noticed that the sushi always arrives neatly arranged, which adds a nice touch to the overall dining experience, even when enjoying it at home. On one particular occasion, we were pleasantly surprised when our order included a complimentary gyoza box. It was an unexpected and thoughtful gesture that left a lasting impression on us. The gyoza was flavourful, and the added bonus made us feel valued as repeat customers. Small gestures like this can really elevate the experience, and it’s one of the reasons we keep coming back. However, there have been a couple of instances where the delivery took longer than expected, which slightly affected our overall experience. While the food quality has always been excellent, it would be great if the delivery times were more consistent. We understand that delays can happen, especially during peak hours, but a little more predictability would enhance the experience further. Overall, Kibo has become a go-to spot for us when we’re craving sushi. The quality of the food and the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary gyoza, make it a standout choice. While there is some room for improvement in terms of delivery speed, we still highly recommend Kibo for anyone looking for delicious sushi delivered right to their door. New found favorite restaurant. We order delivery so no comments on atmosphere and dine-in service. However, the food was Delicious, good portion sizes, and great presentation. Definitely be back soon.
The best Sushi till now! Very delicious dishes. You can order a combi or to share, you can order a soup or make your own dish. Enough choices. Decoration can be beter and use more Japan's style. Friendly staff.
Had a great experience at Kibo Sushi! The rolls were tasty, with fresh fish. The ambiance was cozy, but it might get busy on weekends. However, the shrimp tempura was a bit doughy for my liking. Overall, I’d rate it a solid 7/10.
Got this from uber eats and we had to stop eating it was so bad. Rice was mush and fish tasted off. So disappointing

One caterer, one waitress, slow service. Nothing was wrong with the waitress. She was physically not able to attend to so many tables. The food was exceptional. I cannot deny that

Sushi is always ordered from Kibo. Its really delicious and always fresh. I can recommend it without any worries!
The food was delicious and very beautifully presented. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of their service. The waitress forgot to bring one of our foods that we had ordered. There were no utensils and napkins on the table. It was busy so every time we had to wait until we would be able to get a hold of them.
Very bad customer service
We went early on a Friday. The place gets crowded pretty fast. Wish the patio were opened as the chairs were still stacked. It would have given this outlet a better atmosphere.
The freshest sushi I ve had in sooo long. They re so warm and welcoming. They seat you right away. The atmosphere is very dark and cozy. The food is absolutely delicious!!
Best sushi in the area
I keep coming back to this ace because their sushi is super fresh and clean. They have generous portions and always takes care of the customers always!!! Also I want to thank Erica from the depths of my soul because she is the reason I keep going back all the time. She always remembers all the details of your orders and your name too! SHE IS THE FREAKING BEST! And she is really sweet and has a great sense of humour and personality.

Kibo is probably one of the best sushi chain exist in GTA, everything is fresh, and tasty. We tried it in a couple of different locations and they re all giving you a decent foods.

The entrance is not facing the main road (Yonge) , but its not a problem because once you enter the resturant, you may devoted to the cozy enironment. We ordered Spicy Sashimi Don and Chiras Don, which is so fresh and with plenty of salad and vegetable. So satisfied with the taste and size of the food.
I always get the maki sushi sashimi platter A (for myself), it comes with a few pieces of sashimi, nigiris and rolls. Good for the price and quality is there.

My 4 years old son loves kibo sushi
The sushi at your restaurant was absolutely delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite! I tried classic sushi, such as nigiri with salmon, tuna, rolls with shrimp and avocado, unagi. My family was delighted with the sushi cafe, the atmosphere was not bad but a little dark.
Pretty decent
The salmon tataki was the best part of our order. It came with a delicious salad. The squid karaage was a bit overcooked, being chewy and oily. The fish was very fresh and the maki was good. The service was disappointing. We ordered drinks and the food came before we realized we needed to ask for our drinks again. We asked for miso soup and did not receive it until the meal was finished and we asked a second time. The atmosphere was not remarkable. It looks fairly new inside. Our table was wobbly to the point we were worried about spilling, thus stuffed a folded napkin under a corner to stabilize it.

Small gem in North York. The food was fresh and yummy, although the rolls are a little smaller than other places I ve been to. I got the Salmon Lover Premier and loved it. Salmon was very fresh and well-presented. My mom ordered the bento box and the portions were generous. Location sits probably 25 people at most. If you re a big party like us, make reservations. Staff were friendly and kept checking up on us, she was on top of it! I like how they had a ramp in the restaurant, to make it more accessible.
Cute sushi place in North York. We wanted some late night snacks and came here for sushi and sake. We ordered the Aburi set and the sushi pizza, both which were delicious. The ambiance was cozy, not too busy.

One of our favourite spots. Consistently good quality, fresh sushi and sashimi, lovely flavours and presentation, and a cozy atmosphere. Our favourite Kibo - we drive up from downtown to visit, that s how much we like it :) Lots of parking nearby btw, which is a bonus! Recommended dishes

The place is cute, but it was quite cold, so a bit uncomfortable. The chicken karaage had the weirdest consistency and the batter was more like a tempura. My aburi sushi was ok. My mango salad was a mountain of lettuce with some unripe mango covered in mango sauce, which tasted more like a mango smoothie on. Maybe I should have ordered other sushi. Overall I would not recommend.

Besides the delicious food, Kibo Sushi House offers a very cozy and comfortable environment, with warm lights and aesthetic decor. The waiters are very friendly, and the food came before we knew it. The sushi has to be one of the best I ve had, coming only second to sushi I ve had in Japan. Would definitely recommend!
