I have been a regular at Willies for years and have always had a very wonderful experience until today. A group of us went out for dinner and the waiter/server was a young girl who took our orders. She kept disappearing for long periods and we had to hunt her down for a glass of water to start with. It took her around 30 mins to come get our orders. I had ordered the steak followed by the rest of the table placing their order and she walked away and then came back 10 mins later notifying me that I would be getting a medium rare steak instead of asking me how I want it. Out comes the steak and I find the food is not what it usually is. The meat has a lot of fat in it which was inedible and it was very tough to cut through the meat too. When I informed the waiter/server that the food wasnot to my liking, she said I had informed her too late and that the people in the kitchen would be upset. She later came by and insisted that I have dessert on the house when I and the table had politely redused a couple of times. When it was time for the bill she just brought one bill out and never asked if we wanted to split the bill as is expected. While paying my bill I chose not to tip as I did not even eat my meal and was not happy with my overall experience. She noticed that I hadnt tipped and outright asked me why I hadnt tipped her. I replied by saying I wasnt happy with my meal to which she responded with a snarky comment that I guess you guys are just those kind of people. She then said that she had done an exemplary service and that she deserved to be tipped. My friends and I tried asking her why she asked such a question and she said we do this here. It is our right to question when we are not tipped.This is while the rest of the table had tipped her already. To put it shortly things were handled very poorly and there were a lot of things said that she perhaps should have refrained from. As a waiter you can always ask why you were not tipped. But please be polite in your conversations and not have a attitude stating everything is your right. It was such a sour end to an otherwise nice day that us friends were having. We have always frequented Willies and have even come here for our Christmas eve dinners with families. Never have we ever faced a situation as this ever in the times we have come here.

Would rate it 0 but as a regular customer very sorry to say very disappointed. in on our service . Me and my wife have been coming here with our friends all the time once every month regular customer. Had to wait very long for service also to constantly ask her to come over to our table for service . My friend had a stake, medium rare turned out to be a rare, went back and asked the server hey this is wrong but no where to be seen half hour later comes back to our table how was the food . Friend said it s not good . Server said whhy didn t you tell me before when I dropped the food . Well, you drop the food and left with out saying anything . Also had to wait super long . She neglected that customer service is a key to business any way, hate to say we will not be coming here again. We didn t leave a tip because service was not good . And the lady yelled in front of everyone HEY no tip ? And my friend still payed for the stake that was cooked wrong and she didn t eat it . She also said that her job isn t a server job . But you re putting out food to tables and looking at the tips. If I m not mistaken that is a server job I m really sorry to this place it was good while it lasted . For a busy sat and came there right after work to relax and enjoy the rest of my day didn t set well with me . But food is good . Only problem was the steak was under cooked and service was horrible

I went there with my friends as i always go same decor and same people . food is great and service was good and quick even though they were busy . we had onion rings , burger and pasta I recommended this place just positive vibes .

I have been here twice and as a black person I ask myself why so , the servers were rude , one walked off while I was still ordering , another occasion he left me in mid order and attended to other people , got my order and my friends order wrong , the food was okay , I didn t care much for the rest as I just wanted to sit and talk and I like that it s not very occupied but damn I don t understand the moodiness, I don t want to call it racism as I do understand servers deal with a lot but a little niceness would be good every now and then

The food was okay.

It was my worst experience of dine inn with some restaurant. It was a crowded restaurant we had a server who didn t even know the alcoholic percentage of beer next she took our order. Never gave us plates no cutleries didn t even checked how was the food at the end while billing us out she passed very racist comments about me and my country. My recommendations go somewhere else but not this place.

Worst place to be because of the service and worst environment

The service was not at all appropriate they didn t gave any shared plates neither knives. The food was not up to the mark. The server didn t care to even check if we liked anything. It s a which is not worth your money and energy

Ordered delivery BOGO and the wings are literally the size of your pinky lol. I honestly thought it was a prank. Idk if it s different if you dine in but wings are definitely laughable. Taste was decent

My recent visit to this was a total letdown. With just two staff members struggling to keep up, the service was abysmal. To make matters worse, the waitress made racist comments, which is completely unacceptable. The food was mediocre at best, lacking flavor and presentation. Overall, a dreary atmosphere coupled with poor service.

Very good and affordable meals.

Went here for their Monday night wing night. The wings were ok, passable. Sauce was minimal and nothing worth remembering. The beer (3 different ones) were all on the wrong side of warm and the server was absent for very long stretches. Its saving grace is that the place itself is big, has a great feel to it as a pub. With some tweaks, like more attentive servers, proper cooling systems on kegs and a better wing sauce it could easily move up in ranking.

I was there for snacks and beer around 8:30 pm on Sunday. Only 4 tables of customers which is not a problem for me but there was only one waitress. She was only there when placing order and delivering food. Other than that she was not around. We ended up walking to the front to let her know we are leaving and paying the bill.

Typical pub setting with a large menu. Ive gone back just to be certain, and it was consistent. Food was good. Even had dessert the house special! They have a large room in the back if you want to bring a group.

Had one Molson Canadian. Menu says 5 dollars. Was charged 7.05. Wont be back . Does not recommend. This was 2 or 3 months ago.

The most DISRESPECTFUL managerial service I ve ever experienced. They made a mistake on my order for Uber eats by not giving me a whole 2 pounds for the buy one get one deal. They don t communicate and are quick to put the blame on the customer when it was truly their fault. When they realized it was their fault they proceeded to tell me to cancel my order when my order had already been delivered, and refused to compensate me at all. They also argued with me after taking over $50 of my money and proceeded to hang up the phone on my mother when we called them. I went to this establishment to get my wings that I ordered and came and spoke respectfully and he refused to give it to me because I had voided it on Uber when in fact it was THEIR mistake and I had asked for compensation before hand. He argued with me, ignored me and his reasons and stories were not adding up. As someone who has been in the food industry for over 4 years this is very unacceptable and disgusting behaviour for a manager. Not worth it, save your time and money. RUDE RUDE RUDE

I have been here a couple of times now with a bunch of my friends. It is a regular local pub, not good atmosphere in terms of decoration but I do like their food a lot it is very economical and especially the vegetarian pizza is one of the best that I ve had. It s very very delicious and they make it very fresh in house. I ordered a margarita, and they gave me a green coloured drink and it was not margarita at all..

I visited this pub recently, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the food was okay, the service left much to be desired. The establishment seemed understaffed, with a lack of waiters. It appeared that the owner was serving, but their attention to our table was minimal, checking in only once at the beginning. Attempts to engage another waiter went ignored. Overall, the service was subpar, and I wont be returning or recommending this place.

Great pub with British fare and much more.

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to just enjoy a night out with some good inexpensive food. Happy hours between 3 and 6 oclock and all the appetizers are half price.

I go here weekly. Very nostalgic atmosphere (old school pub vibe). The staff are incredibly personable.

If you like cheap good pub food and drinks, this is the place. The menu is quite good with lots of varieties. They also have a separate menu for their specials. All very reasonably priced. I had wings and ribs with fries. It was $16. My friend had NY steak for just over $20. Also, we had wine, and each glass was just over $8 a glass, and it was a good pour of wine in each glass, too. Staff was friendly and polite. At the back of the restaurant, you will find more seating with the pool table. There are a number of tvs to watch your favorite sports. The bathroom was ok cleanliness. The only thing was that when I was there, on a very cold day, there were flies flying around our table. Where did they come from? It was in the middle of winter. If you dont care about that and just want some good cheap food and drinks, then this is a place to go.

We were there for a family gathering. Able to accommodate 15 of us. There wasnt a lot of staff on, so it was a challenge to get drink refills. But the food came quickly and was very tasty. The personal pizzas were very popular.

Decent place to grab a pint, glass of wine and chicken wings (or plenty other dinner options). Service is okay and food is acceptable. Seems like a popular spot among the locals. I typically come here for their Monday night chicken wings special.

Even though the chicken supreme pizza topping is pretty generous, but there was not much taste. I had to add salt, pepper, hot pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese to make the pizza have taste. At the end, the server is leaving so gave us the bill first. We are a 2 people party, but she put in 18% tips by herself which should not be the correct practice as tips are optional.

Classic british pub. Overall solid place. Food is def good as they have excellent variety and great portions. All sorts local this place. Its actually overall a quiet/quaint atmosphere. Not too loud but def can catch games here. Depends what you are looking for. I know its a part of the charm, but the place is a bit looking run down if Im honest. Still love it here, just know what it is if you come here.

Willie Stouts is my go to when I am working in Toronto. Meals are always great, service is awesome and we always have fun playing trivia!

Food has went so down the last 2 years its crazy never order apps any more or the steak sandwich smh ibusevto love it Here . The crazy bar tender with the shaved head is always high on something tweeking out and will leave you with out a drink for an hour no menus because shes to busy chatting Smh I use to come here all the time snd because of the horrible service the last 2 times iv went I wont be going back

Went to Willies for my second time last Friday. The first time was mediocre as the liver in the liver & onions dish was so dry! This time, I ordered something more basic and is on every pub menu which is bangers & mash. I really enjoyed this dish! It came with 3 sausages, mash potatoes with gravy, baked beans and fried onions. The reason for my 2-stars is due to the server who took away my unfinished meal (planned to take it away and eat it for dinner or breakfast the next day) AND my half drank ginger ale. He first got rid of my meal without asking if I was finished then later, he came back and did the same thing with my drink. I was turned to the side talking to a friend so did not notice him approach and do this. A well run restaurant should know that you never take away someones meal without asking them if they are finished with it first. It was really disappointing as I could of finished it while there but really want to take it home so I didnt have to worry about making a meal or spending money on another meal.

The sports bar had an impressive beer selection, which is to be expected given the abundance of TV screens. However, the food was a different story. I found my BBQ half-chicken and white rice to be quite bland, with the accompanying salad not doing much to improve the meal. On the other hand, my wife ordered a special steak cooked to rare perfection, which was impressive considering how thin it was. For dessert, we ordered the sticky toffee pudding, but it bore no resemblance to the British classic we were expecting and left us uncertain of its true identity.

At 68 years old I have visited a few pubs and restaurants in my young life and I have never seen a place so clean. Especially the bathrooms. The staff were fantastic and the food was great. I will recommend this place to all my friends.

I have been going to Willies for over a year now and it is absolutely lovely. Today we went in for a quick game of pool and a drink. It was 11 in the morning and we got the best service everrrrrrrrrr. I think our servers name was Yana and that man NEEDS TO GET A RAISE!!!!!!! Love you guys <3 <3

Willie Stouts Pub and Grill is probably one of the worst establishments that has ever existed. Located right in the heart of the Scarborough area, on Sheppard Avenue West , Willie Stouts Pub and Grill doesnt deliver. I went to Willie Stouts Pub and Grill with a group of friends and couldnt believe how bad the service was. Considering the only person working the floor was an older looking lady who had the worst customer service and was working the bar and treated me like I was a fish over something. On the flip side, I ordered the 1 LB of Chicken Wings and was really impressed as the Chicken wings were really good. Ill definitely never come back to this restaurant and I hope they hire more staff to treat their customers with respect and humility.

The servers here can add Tip on your bill without your permission under the name of Graduity , they charged us $9.99 without us knowing. Pure scam and highly unethical. Do check your bill before adding any tip, they might have already exploited you.

Horrible service, waiter added $9.99 to the bill without letting us know and was unapologetic when asked what it was. Shameful and a very bad experience.

Had dinner here a few weeks ago with a few friends. The prices are reasonable, my dinner was very good and my dessert, the Warm Brownie Sunday, was astounding. It was the tastiest dessert Ive had a in long time. The noise control is excellent. Even when it became more crowded later in the evening, the noise level was minimal, so we could hear each other without yelling. The only unhappy issue was that they only had one server working that night. She was friendly and efficient but she seemed to be on her feet almost constantly. I think she really needed a co-worker. All in all, we had a great evening. I will definitely return!

I had ordered through Skip the dishes. Order took 50 minutes to arrive. I ordered Cesar salad, the side plastic cups for sauces were in the salad, missing their lids and spilled. Chicken was packed separately and was a lot of it and hot. I was happy with my salad. The other part of the order, was made of 1 pound of chicken wings with fries, sauce aside. There werent so many fries and the chicken wings were bland and not seasoned. Called restaurant 20 minutes after ordering, an Indian guy picked up, I was asking about the courier arrival time and he hang up on me. Not happy, took the issue with Skip the dishes. I ordered again recently and it was a disaster. Got refunded again, sighing exasperated! I guess going in, is a better experience. For now, my rating is 1*, for quality of food, customer service and waiting time. And yes, all bad ratings are legit, nobody wants to destroy a business, unless the business destroys from within, either bad and sloppy food and uncourteous csr when customers complain.

This is our second disappointing visit this past year. The pub was a different experience many years back. The atmosphere has not changed any over the past 15-20 years. The last time we went to dine here, the butter chicken I ordered was warmed up by microwave. I could tell by the taste and uneven distribution of heat. The first time it came to the table, the dish wasnt even warm. The waitress took it back to warm up. It came back pretty quick. The dish came out piping hot. It was inedible. I only ate maybe a third of the dish. We were still charged full price that night. We decided to give the location another try, as the prices are reasonable. The Willies burger that my Fiance ordered did not look appealing at all. He put the burger together before eating the onion rings on his plate. The burger toppled over on his plate. I decided to order their Cajun Chicken Alfredo, which was once upon a time one of my favourite dishes there. The dish came out with uneven temperatures throughout. The garlic bread was not fresh either. The dish was still edible though. The waitress tonight was not attentive at all. Im not sure if it was due to the lack of experience, or if she was pulled in different directions. She was serving outside and inside. After our food and drinks came, our waitress was not really around. She didnt check in to see how thing were either. I would have mentioned that the dish I had was luke warm to very hot throughout. When she came to collect the dishes, this is when I mentioned my disappointment. The waitress did not come back to ask if we wanted anything else either. Once our drinks were done, it took around 6 minutes to flag her down. We then found out that they ran out bottles of Molson Canadian. The bill was asked for after that and we left. How does a pub run out of bottled beer on a Saturday Long weekend? Im not sure what people seem to like here that keeps this place afloat. We will not be going back after tonights experience.

Great place, Buzztime trivia, good food, excellent waiter

We visited because they have pub trivia via buzztime, which we love! The vibe was typical UK Pub, I dont think there was music, and if there was, it wasnt too loud, which was nice. Seemed to be a few regulars, we waited a while before we were served, great food selection, typical pub style options with a few twists. Food was ok, dessert was very yummy, prices were ok given cost of everything at the moment. Would go back, especially for the trivia

Hang out for regulars but def not a destination pub. Old decor, somewhat unhappy looking employees and a menu way too massive to be credible. I ordered the calamari which was not crispy, but tender and tasty enough I suppose. Wings looked fine as did the veg quesadilla. Standard fare here mostly relying on frozen and deep fried products.

Local pub thats been here for decades. Menu options are abundant and their prices are extremely affordable. Portions are great and the place is not only cozy but quite extensive. Among the dishes I had their honey garlic wings served with fries, which was comforting. Their fish n chips as well is a great choice as well.

You cant expect much at an old Irish pub, but their fries are really good. The way they cooked the fries made them crunchy and flaky on the outside and soft on the inside, very well-flavored too. They are generous with the quantity of drinks, which kinda compensates for the quality. The service was pretty slow, though; one time we waited for 40 minutes to get our food served. Its a pretty spacious place, but it could definitely have been cleaned more often. First of all, I want to say hi. Mr. Boam reporting for duty. Second of all, when you walk towards the entrance, there s a nice tv outside in the patio where you can watch a game. Third of all, the food is good: chicken wings, fries, perogies. Nothing too crazy or mind blowing, but if you want bar food and you re around the area, done deal. Be sure to check out their specials yall. Peace.

Horrible experience here. The coke was watered down massively. It tasted like water. The beer also appeared to be watered down. The curry was rolling in oil. The utensils were not clean. The bartender doesn t even look at you when you are trying to order. The entire restaurant floor was abandoned for 15 minutes of any employees. I had to flag down the bartender in the kitchen to get my bill.

Stopped in from out of town Honestly disappointing experience The place was next dead in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday The only waitress in the place was not very good. She forgot my order 10 seconds after walking away from the table. After clarification on my order it still came to the table wrong. Very simple, didnt want onions on my burger. Came with sauteed onions melted in the cheese and red onion slices in the garnish also. After picking the onions off, the burger itself wasnt awful but its far from the best burger Ive ever had.

Had a good experience a few years ago when a kids baseball team did a private party fundraiser. This time, just OK. Food was good. Server indifferent. Nice to have table games, but WiFi didnt work. Server assumed we knew to get in house devices at the door.

This place reminds me of the harris and pete bar from the series. There are lots of regulars there which you always see whenever you walk in Food

Ordered thru UberEats. The butter chicken did not taste like traditional butter chicken. They put tomatoes in the sauce that threw off the taste. Barely had chicken and the meat was tough.

Food is good, some stuff better than other stuff, service is usually not bad but on Saturday it was terrible idk i think she was new..? Kept making our table feel unimportant and instead of saying just a minute kindly and quickly when she was busy, we kept getting a scoff and index finger in the air as she brushed past. A few times she came off very unprofessional and we were all very unimpressed.. a gentleman ended up taking over and was much more professional and experienced. (Mixed review)
