861 York Mills Rd #8, North York, ON M3B 1Y2, Canada
Family-friendly chain outpost with bright decor offering breakfast & lunch.
I love the amount of options at Cora's, and the fact that there are unique menu items that you can't find anywhere else. The prices are a tad on the high side of average, but I wouldn't call them exorbitant. The wait staff were smiling, friendly, and attentive.
Coffee and foods were fresh. Quiet morning, we could spend:)
One of the best breakfast places midtown, the food is very good but shoutouts to all the staff for making the experience wonderful especially Lisa and Nicole. They helped with replacment of dietary needs, and the sweetest humxns helped in the selection of meals, non-stop coffee top ups and good chat.
Mediocre breakfast food, pretty cheap. Egg tasted a bit too ‘eggy’ if you know what I mean, but the tomatoes were fresh. Wish they had more vegan/vegetarian options!! A “just egg” scramble omelette would be awesome. Overall a decent eat for less than $25 though - this also included two pieces of toast and strawberry jam.
Overall I was very impressed. The restaurant was very clean, the waitress we had was very polite, and the food was delicious. The Brioche for Elise and there iced coffee which came with a cookie are what I got, and it was absolutely incredible. The only minor complaint was that we could have been seated a little bit faster, but I viewed that as minor compared to everything else. Come here for a quality breakfast.
The food was decent, kind of. But overall I understand why this Cora’s restaurant has under a 4 star rating. For the most part, the food was alright. I ordered the 10 Star Skillet with an extra egg(pictured). Most of it was actually very very good. My only complaint with this dish this was the potato’s were not crispy enough. Breakfast potatoes are generally some form of crispy, even if they aren’t fried. The potato’s in my skillet were cooked just to the point where they weren’t raw. But they were still pale and white. Very little browning and next to no crispy. The rest of my skillet was truly enjoyable. My friend got the Louis the Undecided. Unfortunately it didn’t look nearly as appetizing as the photo in the menu. The crepe again was cooked but just to the point where it wasn’t raw. Not slightly golden like in the photo. Potatoes on her dish were similar to mine. Not good enough and no crisp. Toast was also flimsy and barely toasted. Service wasn’t amazing. It was busy, but this is to be expected at a breakfast restaurant at 10am and servers should adjust. It took quite some time to get our orders taken. The server took a long time to bring an extra side plate and we had to ask for refills of our water on more than one occasion. Atmosphere was a standard Cora’s breakfast spot during Saturday breakfast. Busy, but welcoming and lively. I’m glad I tried this place but I’m not sure if I’d return. I think I’d prefer to try out other breakfast spots
🥉The line up was so annoying in the morning. Approximately I was in line for 45 minutes. 🥈environment was so normal, the interior design was nothing special 🥇brunch taste was perfect. Penelope and eggs Benedict was really good and also coffee was rechargeable.
First time trying Coras. Good size portions, nicely plated and food was tasty. Unfortunately my eggs were overcooked and toast not toasted. The atmosphere was ruined by very LOUD sqealing kids and louder parents. Before crossing Cora's off as a go to breakfast place, I'll try another restaurant in the chain.
They can t make a poached egg, I send it back 2 times still not good. They don t have a manager in the store on the weekend. They are very bad
Food was great but service was not great, they have less staff, people have to wait even if they have plenty of rooms. Had to wait so long to get a table and food, even when it was not busy
Thanks it was delicious
Friendly staff and great service. Especially if you have young kids.
A great breakfast place .. multitude of nice plates and very good service .. Update Nov 2024 - They have a wonderful new menu
Cora offers a great variety of breakfast meal .
Customer service is not a strength, I had a very bad experience when going for a breakfast on a special occasion. The waitress messed up the order, she was rude as well as the rest of the staff. We were sitting for over an hour and we didn t get our meals, when they finally came, she didn t bring my son s meal. They didn t set up the table so we had no utensils to eat, everything was a complete mess! I haven t gone back since then and I wouldn t!
Food was good. Got the Eggs Benedict because thats a harder item to make at home. Staff kept our coffee cups full and werent in a rush to kick us out after we finished eating. Would go again.
Good staff,
Food was ok, potatoes were a bit soggy. Service not bad a all. Inside is bigger than what looks like from outside.
Parking: Parking lot is cramped Food
Great food
It was so busy For get your order around at least half and hour Service
Amazing!! Our main server was very nice, productive and polite. I didnt catch her name, but she was wearing a black uniform and attending our large family close to the entrance. She definitely deserves a raise or something, because the service was fast, friendly and enjoyable!! Kid-friendliness: Lost of options for the kids and servers are very friendly and funny with the little ones.
Terrible service, poor attention, waiters ignore customers
An amazing place, super friendly staff and the food was delicious.
If you re just looking for a treat for breakfast that s simple and lots of flavour, this is the place for you! Great after a long night
Hello, I am from Taiwan. I am honored to have tasted their restaurant. We ordered two portions for three people. Their portions are quite large and very delicate. However, because I saw their Google Maps review score at first, it was not I was a little worried because it was too high, but after tasting it later, I felt that it was really different. Both of the two things we ordered were very delicious and we liked them both. Moreover, our Canadian friend said that he would eat here in the future. And they are really considerate, using fruit to make a set meal. I like it very much. It feels very comfortable to eat. It makes us want to eat there again. I like that I can eat there again before I leave Canada!
I visited this Cora on a Saturday morning. The atmosphere was lively and the service was friendly. Coffee was very good! I had a breakfast burrito which was stuffed with scrambled eggs and chopped veggies, and they let me switch the potatoes to a salad with olives and sundried tomatoes.
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere
This restaurant is understaffed during peak times (i.e. weekends). So, it is very common that waitress frequently makes mistakes, such as forgetting to serve toast, refill coffee and misplacing orders. I would recommend anyone to avoid visiting this place during weekends.
Really good breakfast!
Foods are fine, but for service . Never expect any eye contact from the waiters. We ve been waiting for them to come and order for more than 10mins, just for that one eye contact.
The quality of the food was satisfactory, however, the service was severely lacking. No staff members attended to our table to check on our well-being or provide adequate service. Despite this, a gratuity was still expected. Lynda, the worst service ever!
Service #badservice #disappointed# lynda# worst server
Eggs were ok but the pancakes were lousy
Love this place. It s my go place for breakfast and light lunch. Service is always great as well as the food.
Love the food there... Has amazing choices: Crepes, eggs, potatoes and more Staff are nice too! But the prices are expensive Its worth the money though <3
Came to dine in for breakfast during a very slow time of the day but table service was practically not there. As if there were no staff even working at this location... couldn t even find anyone to settle the bill with. Food was extremely average.
This place never disappoints me. As you see the photo on the menu, this is how they serve it. One of my favorite places.
What I ordered was really good.
Laidback casual brunch place that is relaxing in its own way. The food served. Bacon was a tad too crispy for my preference, everything else is okay. Id like to go back and try the other options on the menu
always a great brunch
Great food sometimes noisy. Vegetarian options: They have oatmeal served plain and with fruit. Dietary restrictions: Oatmeal with on my food list. Can t get it anywhere else.
Had breakfast Saturday morning. Was quiet when I went before 9 am. Service was good. Price is a little higher then other places. The food is ok not extra for the extra price. More like a treat with cute little fruit decorations on the plate. My kids liked their crepe with hazelnut spread and strawberries.
Can get pretty busy but they did a good job at accommodating our big group, twice. Lots of seating. Big menu to choose various types of breakfast. Price is approximately $20 per dish. Wait staff is busy, accommodating and kind. Food was good. Big portion.
Clean, prompt service, good food
Really slow service. Waited 10 min for coffee and water. Maybe it was a short staffed Sunday morning but it was half empty at 830am.
No customer service. 4 5 waitress were working but no one can bring you to the seat. Waiting at the front for the host. 2 3 waitresses passed by but no one can help. Seems like we have to wait for the cashier to bring us in but no one acknowledge us. When food arrived , you have to ask for cutlery, and maple syrup when you have pancake. Asked for peanut butter for the toast and only bring you jam. Then waited 5 mins for the peanut butter. Doesn t seem like they know what they are doing. People can earlier walk out the restaurant without paying cuz no one really around to look after customer. They seems busy but don t know on what. Very disappointed and probably won t go back
Oh man. What happened?! We were seated at a booth and waited. 15 minutes later, we gave up and walked out. Your location is horribly understaffed. I can t come back.
After standing at the door for 6 minutes looking at 10 empty table someone finally approached and asked us to put our name on the electronic waiting list. Shortly after another group came in and I told them about the electronic waiting list with only my party on it. A few minutes later the hostess came back and seated the group that came in after us. They even told the hostess that we were ahead of them but she paid no attention. Cora would be horrified at this lack of service.
My family and I came here for breakfast wasn t that busy so we were seated right away. Once seated we waited 20mins before and one came to our table. When someone did come we and take are order we waited almost 45min before are food came. But had to wait another 10-15min because we didn t have utensils or condiments. The food was ok, my bacon was cooked way too much and a bit hard, my pancakes were cooked too long on one side as well. Was not impressed with this location.
I had very bad experience with this Cora breakfast place today i order coffee didnt receive first of all I order Tuna Fish and Salad with my family They bring the tuna with salad, it was unbelievable Salad was to old and tuna had smell, requested to change them, there manager said it will be charge if we change to Fruits I didn t eat my self and only kids eat and we come to pay the bill? So guess what happened, they charge me coffee in my bill which they didn t even serve the coffee at all It s has been so bad experience with managaer and the worker who served the food today Saturday 2:00 pm February 24,2024 Be care full guys make sure u check your bills before u paying
The staff seems not to be interested in the customers who support them. They are few words. The food seems really entry level. Very disappointed with this experience after going there for 2 consecutive days !! But never two without three. See you had your chance
Very understaffed. Witnessed dozens of people waiting 10 minutes and leaving because no one came to seat them, multiple times.
My wife and I visit Coras frequently back home and this experience was by far one of the best if not the best. Our server Raymond was super nice and always checking on us to make sure we were ok and always refilling whatever we needed. Parking: There are alot of businesses in the same plaza but there is ample parking if you dont want to park right in front and dont mind walking around the building
Came here for a healthy breakfast, however it was a mixed experience. The line up was long and there was no clear instructions on how to place your name in a list. Luckily line up moved pretty fast. So we got sited in around 15-20 minutes for our Sunday brunch. My friend ordered cinnamon French toast with turkey sausage and enjoyed it very much. I also liked my salmon eggs Benedict. However the food was average, with fries being boiled potatoes, salmon was watery and tasteless, there were spices used. However, the fruit was good in both quality and amount. To me the worst part of the experience was bitter and flavourless coffee. For a breakfast or brunch place this pretty much ruins the experience for me. Also, given how affordable good quality coffee is, I don t understand management s choice on trying to save on this. This was my first time at this location. I don t remember same issues at Steelers or downtown branches.
I came to Coras with my husband for Sunday brunch. We had to wait to be seated which was ok given how busy it was. There was an electronic device to place your reservation for your party, but no sign or communication to do that. The staff seemed like they didnt like their job and didnt give great customer service. We had to ask for our bill 3 times to receive the bill. I am usually patient and understanding when it comes to waiting, but three times to ask for the bill is too many times. The staff to be honest did not work as a team and would need to improve on that or at least wanting to serve customers. I have to admit the food is excellent that is why I gave this Coras another star. But please work on customer service.
Went there on a busy Saturday, there were only 3 servers working. We waited 30+ minutes just to be seated, even though there were more than 10 empty (dirty) tables. When the food arrived, the potatoes were cold and under cooked. The omelette was also cold. You could tell my husbands food was rushed. My son loves eggs and potatoes, he couldn t eat any of the food there. We asked for toasts to have with our food, she came back with 2 toasts for 3 people and gave us an attitude when we asked for more. Def my first and last time going to that location unless they hire more people and better chefs.
Food was good as usual. I just felt like you need to be in constant looking for the waitress to refill your cup.... I work in a restaurant if a day its going to be slow, and we dont have the enough staff.... we shut down one area... in order to have a better more adequate service like when your have a full staff during the weekend. Just my 2 cents
We tried early bird breakfast, and it was good, and the price was good too.
Overall food is good and healthy. Come here with my teenage son. Food
Food was bad. Service was awful.
Ordered the sunshine panini (with ham). It was alright. The fruit was ripe and fresh.
Perfect Breakfast. Give it a try
Compared to other Cora restaurants, the food was rather bland. The meals our party ordered were all supposed to come with toast, but it was not provided - we were not aware of this until after we had left the restaurant and someone in my party pointed it out to me. The server was or should have been aware of this -maybe given us the option to substitute something else or order another dish? This omission leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, feels like they are dishonest.
The food was delicious and very large portion sizes! The walls had no decoration which was an exception for a Cora location. Vegetarian options: Yes available. Dietary restrictions: They do have lactose-free options. Kid-friendliness: 100%. Great place to have kids birthday parties.
The creape All You Can Eat is a big hit. We found Saturday lunch time was wall to wall with 6 families ahead of us. We went elsewhere. We returned later in the week for the special. We received four rubbery folded crepes which was tough enough that the chef issued a black handled serated steak knife to cut it! We wont be going back.
This location is pretty good, the food is tasty, fresh and quick. Great serving staff.
Standard Coras, good service, good food, clean environment. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is all one level, including washroom Food : 5/5 |
Waited extremely long to be served our food. Bacon and ham burnt and over cooked. Potatoes cold and under cooked. Have been coming here for 5 years. This was the worst meal Ive had anywhere. Would not recommend this particular location.
Highly recommended
The food was either cold and under cooked or over cooked and burnt. Have been coming to this location for 5 plus years. I wont be returning here. I will not suggest anyone come to this location.
Food portions were really big and very delicious. Servers were nice. Good for groups and families, maybe a little too pricey though
Had to ask for refills of coffee. Waited up to 10/15 minutes and had to ask.
This Cora branch is nice and the servinf plating is very good.
First thing you notice at Cora is their popularity. I went on a weekday morning for breakfast and the restaurant was surprisingly quite full. Tried their Egg Benedict which was OK but the portion size was quite big. Fresh fruits which came with it were quite good. However, their Hollandaise sauce tasted quite ordinary. Cappuccino and Latte were also just OK. Maybe, I went there with high expectations which impacted my experience but not very impressed.
This is one of my favorite brunch places. I almost every week. Stuff is very nice and the food is amazing. Highly recommended.
Great service and great experience
Friendly staff and atmosphere. Busy but we were seated in a reasonable time. The food arrived in a good time.
Another one of my favourite breakfast places. The diversity in their menu is amazing! They also serve lunch if I remember correctly. I really like their crepes.
Great food at a reasonable price. The 3 meat burger was off the charts good.
Nice
Ignoring customers. We left waiting on a table. The restaurant was pretty empty and there was 4 different people waiting that also left because of the long wait. It seemed like they only had 2 waiters and 1 cook. We seen people waiting at their tables complaining about not getting service. We had a toddler with us that just couldnt bare to wait any longer so we left. Terrible experience for a first time here. They need to pay attention more to their customers and hire a lot more employees
The employee by name Lynda was very rude at this location being a front end worker and the first point of contact at restaurant it s better to set up a good environment for customer and common we are coming to have our breakfast and start our day and we prefer not this kinda negative energy . Saw her being rude to her fellow employee as well
Nice, clean, good food, perfect service and good price
Decent food good service
Ok, this place is BUSY... so be prepared to wait. We went during peak hours though on a Saturday so all things considered,it wasnt THAT bad but still, it was about 30+ mins to get our seats and then 10-15 after seating before we got drinks.. then another 10-15 + mins before food came.. but the food was GREAT. Well worth it. I found their selection of fruit and the taste to be really good as well, above average for sure. Its a bit tight in there but cozy once youre seated. They also had an iPad at the front where you put your name and phone number to be added to the waiting list, so its kinda painless, depending on your personality and preference. Overall, it was a good experience and would go again, just maybe not at peak times.
Good service
Having come from Montreal, the home of Chez Cora, I was a bit disappointed. Eggs were dry and the cretons were served in the shape of the container they came out of.
Lots of variety for fresh juices
Great choices of breakfast with lots of fresh fruit. quite busy and noisy at lunchtime.
Very good, a little too expensive for lunch
Our go-to brunch spot. They never disappoint Food
Cant get enough of their Spinach, caramelized onions, mushrooms and goat cheese ben and dictine menu Visited their york mills location. They dont take reservations. Its first come first serve. Food
Im allergic to pineapple and peaches, and as they cut and prepare the fruits in advance, every thing is mixed. They offered to take out the pieces of those fruits, without thinking about the fact that all the other fruits around have been already in contact and therefore contaminated by the pineapple juice proper from the fruit. Domage, I really wanted a fruit salad without pineapple or peaches.
The worst location EVER DO NOT COME HERE . Waiters are just walking around as if they are busy but no one came to take our order for almost 20 mins after being seated . Never coming here again . We even asked a waiter to take our order, ended up getting ignored for another 10 min .
Excellent selection of breakfast offerings. I had the 1990 Harvest French toast. Great brioche. Ample fruit. Egg exactly as I like it. Bacon uninspired, but you cant always have perfection. Service quick and attentive. Refills on coffee without having to prompt.
I give it one star as it s an absolute disrespect to vegan community. You will be shock of how there s not a single menu available for vegetarian and vegans . I m shock after driving here they recommended I eat fruit for my breakfast cause they dont support vegans ! Not recommended If you are vegetarian or vegan don t even waste your time here
Good food.Get much more for your money then at the hotel. Friendly staff.
Solid breakfast
Slow service, another person (customer) interrupted me when I in the middle of placing my order with the waitress. I paid $50 for two breakfast meals, really disappointed with the food portion. The 4 pieces of bacon were so tiny, looked like they were cut in halves. Also there was only like 12 home fries and one of my over east eggs were broken.
All four of us really enjoyed our meals. Service was fast and very pleasant
Good portion and tasty. Waitresses are nice and friendly.
Maybe it s a Sunday thing but the waitresses were cold and unfriendly. The hostess was sharp, too. They got my order wrong and my potatoes were super greasy. Our waitress never checked up on us until we waved her over to pay. Really disappointed :(
Very friendly staff and great food
Always a pleasure
Every time I eat here I muuuust have strawberry pancakes...they are just amazing
Cora Breakfast is undoubtedly a five-star culinary haven that expertly combines fresh ingredients with innovative breakfast concepts. The vibrant and cozy ambiance sets the perfect stage for a delightful dining experience that awakens the senses. The menu is a masterpiece of creativity, offering a wide array of options that cater to diverse tastes. From classic breakfast staples to inventive dishes, Coras commitment to quality and authenticity is evident in every bite. The presentation of each dish is artful and appealing, a testament to the chefs meticulous attention to detail. One aspect that slightly dampens the five-star experience is the service. While generally attentive and friendly, there were moments where the service felt a bit rushed or inattentive. Its worth noting that despite this, the staffs enthusiasm for the food they serve is unmistakable, adding a genuine warmth to the overall dining atmosphere. Cora Breakfasts dedication to sourcing locally and using fresh ingredients shines through, contributing to the outstanding flavors and textures in each dish. The extensive menu caters to a variety of preferences, ensuring theres something for everyone. For those who appreciate a leisurely breakfast thats both indulgent and wholesome, Cora Breakfast is a must-visit. The four-star service rating aside, the overall experience is a testament to Coras commitment to culinary excellence. Whether youre a regular seeking a dependable favorite or a visitor in search of a memorable meal, Cora Breakfast delivers a delicious and invigorating start to the day.
Perfect for brunch
I go to Coras on a regular basis. I have never had a similar experience. We ordered the Passion fruit summer drink and get the Cucumber -beet instead (refer to picture). They, included the supervisor, insist its the right drink. I dont think taste buds could be that off too detect cumbers and beet wrongfully, but if they insist, then Coras recipe is totally off! I ask for crayons for my toddler, which we usually get, and are told Ill see what I can find...then receive a placemat. The response to our complaint is not even a simple apology. So instead of replying to us that youd make it right, please train your staff properly.
I came after many years and the service was terrible . They brought the wrong drink and insisted its the right one. They brought another drink that turned out to be another tables drink. After leaving the drink on our table for about 10 minutes they took the drink away (I assume to the other table). The server didnt feel like she wanted to work here . The supervisor was just as ignorant. They eventually brought the same drink so I guess the flavor they use is bad but the service was so unacceptable regardless.
This particular Cora has some issues when it comes to service. The food is excellent and has always been served to me hot and fresh, but this is where the service then ends. I have been to this location about 4 times in the past few months and not once have I been asked how the food was or if I wanted a refill on my glass of water (apparently they only seem to offer refills of coffee) and these are weekdays that I have been going and not weekends where generally there are not more than 10 tables in use with customers sitting at them. I have even had to ask for my bill every time I have gone and once they bring the credit card machine to me, the servers run away and expect you to complete your own credit card transaction and swipe your loyalty card. Also, beware that if you dont swipe your loyalty card when the machine prompts you, you will not get a chance to collect those points even though Coras website and a phone conversation with head office said that points can be added to your account within 30 days of your visit, this location doesnt seem to know how to retroactively add the points back. When I visited today, my food was served to me hot and fresh as usual and I was asked if I wanted anything else and I had asked for a refill on my water but as usual that was forgotten about and also as usual I had to chase someone down to get my server to bring my bill and the credit card machine for me to check myself out. Excellent food but horrible service, this location seems to want to run with as few servers as possible which is the complete opposite experience I have had another Coras I visited in another city (outside of Toronto).
Great place to come in with children for breakfast. The earlier the better. It gets busy!
Fantastic place for a quality breakfast with fabulous service
Our server Hazel was great. She took care of us well and had a positive attitude. Their chef was HORRIBLE. Referring to him as a chef is an insult to chefs everywhere! Eggs were way overdone, so we sent them back with very detailed information about how we like them. Next batch came back, again overdone. The third time wasn t a charm, as they were only moderately better than the first two attempts. How this chef cannot figure out how to properly cook something as simplistic as EGGS is beyond me. I learned how to make eggs when I was ten years old! Will not be returning.
First time trying Coras. Good size Portions. Enjoyed my Banana waffle with Custard.
The fruits are fresh and delicious
The service was quick and the food was great
Who doesnt love brunch at coras. This location didnt disappoint! Love the fresh fruit!
excellent! Huge and delicious portions
No chikens
The food here is good for a breakfast spot. Its delicious and done right. The service however, is byfar the worst service I have ever had. Servers dont care, they never come around to check on you, if the order comes out wrong and you tell them that, they talk back. Its atrocious. I will not come back bere due to that.
Food was good. Service was good. I was able to get seated right away.
Had the worst possible service no one asked for coffee although ordered at the beginning, took them 25 minutes to take order then another 30 to bring it still without coffee no one asked if something else was needed and at the end coffee was added to the itemized bill suffice to Say terrible experience.
Terrible service Never come Again
Very delicious food, very good service and a pleasant atmosphere.
Your typical Coras. Consistent and exactly how you had it last time :)
Great food and atmosphere
Excellent food, but the place was short-staffed. Took them about 20 mins to come and attend to the in-coming customers, and another 10 mins to get us a seat.
Server was really kind. I got the spinach and mushroom eggs Benedict. It tasted sour.. do not recommend
Great service! Great food! Id definitely recommend!
Great place. Was very busy when I was there but still had good service
Pancakes were small but tasty. French toast is a good size. Coffee is not so great.
Great food with decent portions! Fruits are presented nicely, and lots of options. Service was a little slow.
Its pains me to write a negative review of bad branch of a good chain! We went there just because it was Cora and we had a very bad experience. Right from the beginning! The server who assigned our table was disgruntled and in no mood of working. Our main server Steven/Raymond didnt bother to look at us except for the order and check! We had only 1 coffee refill that too by some other server who happened to pass by our table and happened to look at our empty mugs. Peameal bacon was as thin ad it could be and fries were basically boiled potatoes cut in wedges. And he just forgot about our toasts! He brought them when we were done with our dishes and he was rude about it. The branch in downtown has a good color and pop and ambience to it ! This one was bland !!
Cora has certainly become a family breakfast staple. Great selection of breakfast items. Fancy French Canadian touch. Absolutely impressive with taste and presentation. However, while I can appreciate the classics, I would still like a bit of American influence. Yes, steak and eggs in a fancy Hollandaise sauce is great, but I would still like a Coras rendition of chicken and waffles.
The food is what you can expect from Cora. Good variety and acceptable quality for the money. But service at this location is the worst. They make you wait while tables are half empty. Don t service coffee properly, other than charging you 3.50 for it. And you I had to go to the kitchen to find someone to bring me the bill. Very very bad service. Completely unacceptable they are allowed to run a business like this. Unless they change dramatically, they are doomed to go bankrupt and disappear.
Our food tasted like actual chemicals. Every other Cora location Ive been to has been phenomenal but this location has some work to do. Very unsatisfied.
We stay seated for 10 minutes on Saturday 11th and nobody came to take our order, no water, no coffee, they were walking around serving who was there but not the new clients..Terrible service!!!
Now this is Coras! We had a bad experience at an other location the week before and rather then writing the chain off completely, we decided to try again at York Mills. Really glad we did! Food was delicious and came to us quickly. The portions were excellent. Service was great too. Only negative I can think of is having to wait for a table but even that is handled well. You give them your phone # and they text you when your tables ready. We waited comfortably in our car. Now as for what I ordered: Ben and Dictine with Ham and swiss cheese. I wanted mine soft poached so the yoke is nice and runny. It came out perfect!! My daughter ordered Louis the Undecided. A dish that I ordered last week at the Front Street location. The portions were much larger here, especially the fruit and Nutella crepe, it was probably more than double the size. After the bad experience we had on Front Street, I seriously wanted to high five all the chefs here. I actually went to do it but chickened out :P. They were really busy and it would have been super awkward. If anyone from this location is reading this, please high five your chefs for me. Cooking at this level and volume isnt easy. Thank you for the great and consistent experience we get from this location!
Great costumer service and excellent food Definitely worth to try Recommended dishes Spinach and Cheese Omelette, Scrambled Eggs, Waffles with Bananas and Chocolate Syrup
Cora is the Sunday brunch go to, just hit the right spot. Staff work quick and efficient. Nice to have home cook chip , thats the high light only downside is the fresh fruit is not fresh and warm, not test good.
Food was not up to standard. Cold eggs, chewy crepes, undercooked potatoes. And overpriced.
Quite good. They were very accommodating with late arrivals etc. Food was good, hot and served quickly.
Not a good Cora location. When we approached the entrance, the server went to seat the people in front of us and had the menus in hand but then returned to us and said sit wherever you like and walked away. We luckily ended up with another server, and she was very sweet and kind. The food was not great, eggs were not cooked to our request, and the bacon was not crispy, just oily and chewy. We left most of our food on the plate.
Dinein last Monday for breakfast 930am Order goat cheese omelet, cheese was not good at all, we advised the waitress but still charged for 100% even though just not to throw food we took out goat cheese. Food
Good foodd
Early business breakfast meeting here. Service is decent, food is fine but nothing to write home to mom about. They didnt have the healthy sides I prefer to home fries, like slices cucumber and avocado, which I thought was odd, but then maybe people dont order those things at this place or neighborhood. Id go again for a meeting but not a place I would take my family as we like little changes to our meals at times.
Lovely
It was my first time eating at this location. I loved that its not packed, and you can hear your conversation with your companion. Service is fast, and the server really gave you time and space to look through the menu.. I really appreciated that. The quality of the food is still good . I would come visit this location again.
Food and service was great. Everything tastes better with maple syrup! Yum
Rude hostess! We were seated at a booth we requested. The table was not cleaned from previous customers. We waited patiently to be acknowledged and served. The wait staff kept walking past us without acknowledging us. After 15 min we decided it was time to leave. It wasn t busy at all so I don t know what the problem was besides poor management.
