I got takeout buritos today for my family, and all together are in Garbage now, the quality is unbelievable bad, the chicken tastes awful, and feel like its not fresh at all

Spent extra money to get steak with Uber Eats and they gave me no meat. Sigh

Staff friendly, food alright, but they really need some training on handling food. I watched an employee pick up used gloves on a dirty counter, grab all sorts of non-fooditems like door knobs, water bottles, etc before directly touching the burritos. Worse, 3 employees were so focused on chit chatting standing around the table where the open burrito was placed waiting - they were all standing around over the burrito speaking loudly - i ordered a burrito not your spit! The burrito wasn t great either, not flavourful and ingredients weren t fresh.

Ordered a naked burrito, the rice tasted very stale and I had to throw the rest food away since it was uneatable. Never ordering again!

Sooo. Goood. Ordered Uber Eats 2 for 1 deal and asked them for a favour to make the protein different, and they were kind enough to do so for me. Got a chance to try out both haddock and calamari, both yum, and will be getting calamari next time. Thank you! Edit: forgot to mention churros. With caramel sauce. SO. GOOD.

I ordered two chicken Burritos. So Tasteless. I throw them both right into the garbage.

I love this place. The workers are always soo patient with me because I get confused with which toppings I want. The hakkock burrito is really good! The only reason why I have the atmosphere as a 3 is because I always find it hot inside the restaurant. When I was leaving I noticed they are selling churros, which I will try on my next visit.

I always order chicken burritos and bowls from here and I love their portion size as well as the taste, theyre really good.

Update 2024: Avoid ordering the bean and cheese burrito here. They fill it full of rice, when requested in writing on the app not too. Original review from 2022 Very : friendly staff and efficient service. The food is always fresh made to order. Probably the best fast food burrito place. Refried beans, steak and halibut are best toppings. Very generous portions. Dont order a large or anything unless you have a big appetite. The app is pretty good for either pickup or delivery. The app doesnt do a great job of saving previous orders or credit card info, so those bugs need to ironed out.

Ordered on Uber. Ignored my detailed note about an allergy. It is too late to reorder my food now. Feeling pretty down about this.

Honestly one of the worst foods (if not the worst) I ve had in Toronto. Just ordered steak burrito bowl with vegetables. The veggies didn t seem fresh, and the steak didn t taste good either. To top it all off, found hair in my food.

So I convinced my husband to try burrito boyz to give them another chance as we have recently been enjoying chipotle (but unfortunately they don t have a halibut burrito and that is what I was craving). When he got the burritos home the halibut was burnt on both of them not edible we should have just stuck with chipotle at least we could have eaten them.

Burrito boyz is my go to food chain and I have visited several locations until now. I visited this location today and me and my fruend ordered burritos here. Tuesday evening staff treated us nicely. Quantity inside the burrito was upto the standards. Team had dmile on their faces and also burritos were rolled and grilled nicely. Thank you guys.

As a returning customer of over 7 years, I must say I m quite disappointed watching this Burrito Boyz location on a steady decline in terms of food portion, quality, and service. Every time I visit this location, the portions get smaller, and although the owner is very kind and hospitable, the rest of the staff who prepare the food seem unhappy to be there and are not generous with the portions. For guac that is paid for, they only fill up half of their scoop and prepare the food hurriedly and without care. I unfortunately won t be returning due to unfair portions and careless food preparation.

Burrito Boyz exceeded all expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and freshness. But what truly set them apart was their exceptional customer service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic dining experience. I used to love coming here but its really gone downhill. The regular size used to be a decent meal, but not anymore. The staff turnover also seems to have had a negative impact on the quality of the food, because my shrimp burrito wasnt even properly toasted through the last time I was here. Maybe this is just the new normal post-COVID, but if so, Id rather just make my own burritos then.

The food is amazing, the portions are huge and always arrive fresh and warm. We order about every couple months for our team at work, Im talking approx. 50-60 orders at a time. JJ and his staff are SO friendly and truly understand the meaning of customer service - always willing to help and always with a smile on their face! No flavor; no sauces. Visited 3x to see if a month would make a difference each time. Nope. Update: They gave me a free burrito because I left the original review of 3 stars. Difference this time being I added extra salsa. 100% better. 4 stars now. Another update: Ive been ordering frequently because the food is back up to the standard of the franchise. Theyve even started remembering me and adding my salt and pepper in the bag before I even ask. Thats customer service! 5 stars now!

My burrito was literally burnt. I m shook. I ordered this from uber eats and the results are shocking. I order from here often and this has never happened to me. This was also the first time my parents are trying burritos in general and easy to say that they don t want it again wouldn t order better again.

My family ordered 11 different items and filled out forms for each, but they only got 3 right. 8 were very wrong including added vegan cheese on the 8 of them

I ve been a customer of this location for about 10yrs and JJ, Sera and the team have likely made 1,000 burritos for my office and I. I ve tried every burrito place around and Burrito Boyz is above all others. Always made with fresh ingredients, customize your order the way you want it. They nail it every time! Thanks guys!! Fantastic service with friendly and helpful workers. The two young women at the front gave smiles and advice while helping me and my partner order a burrito. It was our first time trying this type of cuisine so it was hard to know what to order as toppings. They also gave us additional mango side dishes to try! Thank you so much :)

Possibly my favorite location out of Burrito boys in general, They make a huge burrito when you mention you mean EXTRA ingredients.....and if they mess up the order, they will instantly make another one for you, and even offer a free drink (which I didnt take, because of how fast they fixed and made my original order) I highly recommend this location if your looking for some hearty eats.

These guys fell off. There is no flavor in their burritos , all I taste is onions and their sauces are weak. I dont know what happened because they use to be my favorite , but I tried a burrito yesterday and boy was I disappointed. Didnt even finish it. Do yourself a favor if you want a good burrito , go to burrito bandito or get n go burrito.

These are naked burritos, and they were HUGE! I d say one can feed two. This location s food is delicious, and absolutely fresh. Definitely recommend this, fast service and nice staff. Go get your burrito!

Our order today was not right. We ordered guacamole instead of cheese on both orders. I did not get any guacamole and my husband got cheese. He is lactose intolerant and cant eat it. We had to send a picture and then the only way he could get his meal was to drive there and get it or pay another delivery fee. Not only did they not give us a credit for the errors they were not looking at ways to fix this. Very disappointed.

We picked up fryz extreme and ordered steak on it. When we arrived at home oh surprise no meat on the order. Sadly it was late night so no way to contact them. Too bad because burritos are delicious.

Seems the quality has went down a lot since the last few time I ordered from this location. Ive ordered the naked steak burrito. No meaty chunks. Meat is grounded a lot to paste level. Taste is very bland in compare from before. And it cost more. Mostly filled with iceberg lettuce.

I ordered here from ubder eats, i only order because of ghost pepper, they did not give me the pepper in delivery, ruined the whole experience.

I like the Quesadillas and Burrito. Just I wish to have more tasty chicken. I got take out and staff was so polite and on time.

Its not recommended. If you order through the app, its at the restaurant. I heard there werent many, so I went and ordered it myself on a cold day with the intention of supporting a local restaurant. I was so disappointed. I was confused at first because there wasnt even a single French fries topping added. I dont know if the burrito would have been good, but it was covered in sauce and not very tasty. After eating, I kept feeling bloated, so I had to go to the bathroom. The other person who ordered another burrito and ate it with me also said that his stomach kept hurting. It was the end of the year. There was a backlog of orders and there were a lot of people, so I thought maybe it was because they were rushing to cook. Haha, I had a hard time going to the bathroom, so I dont think Ill ever go there again. (If you go to Photos, I posted a receipt showing the cost of adding my toppings and French fries without any toppings - I wrote it on my phone so I cant link it.)

I was at that spot yesterday everyone was wearing mask and distancing themself. But a man just walks in without a mask and a employee asked if he has a mask. The man just said I have and exemption and they said ok like is this all it takes just a word and ur allowed to risk ur whole restaurant

Poor portions. Good service, but quantity was less than other locations. (But only visited once, so far, will update in time)

Ordered a quesadilla and the girl skimmed on all of the toppings. First, I had to tell her more retried beans because she literally put it on like buttering bread. The toppings were so few that there were parts that were literally empty. When I saw them putting it in the box it was already falling apart because parts were missing the toppings to keep it together. Overall, if it wasn t for the dipping sauce it would have no taste because it was mostly just chicken and bread throughout. Super disappointed especially because I don t normally eat meat and this was a pregnancy craving. I had one the night before from the warden location and it was bomb and this was just a waste of money.

Great burritos. This location is in a pretty sketchy looking area, but the actual inside of the resteruant is pretty clean and gives off a mexico vibe. Food is really good and it had a lot of customizability. Definitely recommend this place!

Delicious food, exciting preparation process but a little bit slow. I had to wait outside the restaurant for 20 minutes before I decided to go in and ask for my one burrito! I was supposed to receive a text message when my order is ready but I got it when I was home with my order!

I placed an online order and picked up after 20 minutes, employee was extremely rude and rolling her eyes at me. Also forgot two of my items in my order, did not want to go back because of her attitude. There were only two other customers waiting in the store, why make snide remarks if I m just picking up a paid order?

I ordered a bean burrito. I picked it up and the burrito was folded so loosely, it was cold and runny. The burrito fell apart and I couldnt even finish half of it. Ended up throwing it away.

You want a ? This place makes a good humungous . I normally get mine naked, without the tortilla so I eat it like a salad. Always quick and freshly made. Ive eaten at BB for years since the Queen St location, and at this location for the last year. Always great.

It was my first time there and everyone was very friendly and helpful! I asked for no beans but they put it in there anyway. Normally Id be annoyed and just scrape the beans off but I was short on time. To my surprise, the beans added extra flavor and texture to my steak burrito! For once, Im glad that they messed up my order! Its very rare to come across a happy mistake! Im definitely going back to get another steak burrito WITH the beans this time!

This place is my go to for fast food in the Yonge and Sheppard area. The staff is always polite no matter how busy they are. Food is well prepared and tasty. Ive had one issue with an order but it was quickly and professionally resolved. Looking forward to going back.

First time I come to get tacos theyre pretty good size portions but the lady who serve never asked me the way I want my taco meat first and vegetables later and made my taco totally reverse way also the sauce was too spicy please ask costumers how they like their food this is my humble opinion

My go-to burrito place. They have many gluten free options, including a gluten free burrito. Their chicken burrito, steak burrito, and the chips and guac are fantastic. The burritos consistently have a good amount and dispersement of filling, and a great crunch. The burritos are also structurally sound - we dont often end up with the filling spilling out. In addition to the tasty food, the service is great. An overall great experience that Ill continue coming back for.

Super flavourful food. The staff is very courteous and really helped me out to make the right selection as I had to avoid any kind of meat. I went back in to throw the bag away and they were kind enough to take it back and dispose it. Highly recommend this place for their food and service. Unfortunately they did not have dine in and they put in peppers when I requested them not to, but they are friendly enough to make any changes if you request them.

Customer service has been on point every time and the burritos are always packed and tasty.

Came in today and the staff working the counter was very rude. She seemed like she hated her job and my meer presence was an inconvenience for her. She then demanded I leave and come back when it was finished. Now I understand there is a pandemic, and safety step and very necessary, but you shouldnt make people feel bad for coming into your store. I wont be coming back.

Good portion, fast service, decent price. Their steak burrito is my go to menu. Most of the time, the quality of the food is excellent, but keep in mind there are some days when the meat feels a little chewy. Overall, would recommend.

Was never a fan of burrito for years, till I tried the one from this place and I haven t looked back, it s amazing. I ordered the naked burrito bowl and the portion size was huge enough for two meals. It had so much flavors from sweet, sour to spicy. Its totally worth the money. Service was fast, as I got my order on time and overall great experience. I ve ordered many more times now and might try other things. I also got Calamari on the sides and it was well done as well. I totally recommend this combination.

Same awesome Burrito Boyz quality and the service at this particular location has been great in my experience. There have been several occasions where I called almost at their closing time and they were kind enough to still prepare the burritos for me and wait for me to arrive. If you like Mexican and youve never tried Burrito Boyz before, youre missing out!

Sorry I dont have pics but I love this joint, I used to go to chipotle but over $2 for gauc is fracking ridiculous plus everything is more expensive. At burrito boys the price is reasonable and gauc is more reasonable. I always get the bean burrito, its tasty and a good serving size. Im 200lbs and I feel full after eating.

Wow im surprised we waited this long to try this. Suuuch big portions, SO filling, all for $7 or so. Burittos are beasts, naked ones are amazing. They had covid regulations in place and they were crazy busy at lunch and still kept up.

Terrible food and service

I get a burrito once a week from burrito boyz, not always at the North York location. Everytime I get a burrito from this location, there is always something wrong with my order. They never seem to manage to read the toppings that I selected on the app, and correctly put them in the burrito. When my burrito is made properly at other locations, it is the perfect meal. Burrito boyz North York is incompetent.

Got the naked steak. Not made well made they do give more meat at other locations. Overall tasty and clean.

Had the haddock naked burrito with a healthy selection of toppings. Everything was fresh, fish was crispy and well seasoned, and service prompt and friendly. Was able to request more of this and just a little bit of that with no fuss. Ive been to this location several times and they are consistent. UPDATE: Its been over a year since I found this location, and they still banging out great burritos. During these covid times, theyre masked up with very few people inside at a time, and with good vibes. Once in a while, a stray topic may be found or theres a little tear in my burrito but Im not even mad. Its a burrito. I love these damn things. Keep it up!

Like the fact when you give your phone # your previous order is already saved, my wife and I dont change our order much so this was convenient! Due to COVID safety measures you have to wait outside (or in your car) but they text you when your food is ready, so thats good!
