Absolutely an amazing place. Its hard to find a good spot where where every order is delicious, every drink is spot on, and the customer is the best. I always make sure to stop by whenever Im in the area. If youre thinking of coming, please do. You wont regret it. Keep up the great work guys. See you next time

I had a medium cappuccino. It was very well prepared. The coffee was a very good quality. The young lady there was very nice and answered all my questions. It seems they sell coffee bags but they were not on display. It would be nice if they had a coffee display with prices on them. Five stars no doubt.

Caffeine is so cute with incredible food. The soups, sandwiches, pastries, and drinks have all been fresh and tasty! The staff have all been pleasant and nice to talk to. This little gem has become an office favorite! 100% better than the Starbucks thats there.

Nice little spot for a coffee and light meal. Great to find something like this almost in Scarborough, where we are sorely lacking in similar cafes. The coffee was hot and fresh, the interior smelled of lovely baked goods. Friendly staff rounded out the enjoyable visit.

This cafe is always fantastic. The food and drinks are SO delicious. We love it. I only wish they had a bigger location where they could have more dine-in space, maybe a patio, a small play area for kids. That would be a dream.

Wayyy better than the Starbucks across the street. My husband got a cinnamon latte. It was perfect I had a taste, you usually end up with a cup of sugar ans some coffee. This latte just had a hint sweetness so you could actually taste the coffee and cinnamon. My honey almond matcha was also absolutely delicious. Again not overly sweet. We will definitely be coming back. We didnt have any meals today but they had a lot of options and quite a few vegetarian options which is hard to find.

Decided to try this coffee shop instead of the Starbucks. I was not disappointed! The croissants were to die for and the coffee was delicious. I would recommend this place over Starbucks every time!

Another day, another coffee shop ! We picked up drinks before our stroll and I was hoping to sit in the shop. However, it was crammed inside, so we had to take our drinks to go. Service was quick and easy.

My go to place for a nice place to work before appointments. Super affordable and fair pricing on all their drinks and food items. Plus SO many vegetarian options. FOOD Their Protein & Pesto Croissant ($7.25) really hit the spot. I also tried their Grilled Cheese ($3.95) and it actually tastes fantastic. In terms of drinks, Ive tried their Canadian Maple Latte ($5.25 for a small) which wasnt too sweet - far prefer them over Starbucks. SERVICE The ladies are so lovely and so nice. I honestly would come back here just for their kind service. SPACE They also have strong free wifi and two tables as well as a bar-like seating. Plus theres plenty of parking. Would be lovely for a pick me up after a grocery run or running errands.

This is my favourite cafe! Fantastic food, fun drinks, and friendly service. The owners are immensely passionate about their work and are always exploring food combinations that excite the palette. Caffeine also values high quality, ethically sourced materials which is a plus! Probably the best coffee beans I ve ever tried. I also love the well-lit environment and surrounding plants. Overall, great experience every time!!

I am kind of upset at myself for not discovering this little coffee shop sooner. Truly, I must have passed by a hundred times. Regardless, we now know its there and we are happy to have found it. We have ordered lattes and croissants. Delicious coffee and freshly baked croissants. Cant beat that. Definitely tastier than the mermaid logo. Their prices are great and the service was friendly. Cant wait to be back to try more things on their menu.

Friendly server, nice ambiance but I had ordered a white hot chocolate. It had zero taste, no foam or sweet taste at ALL like warm water only burnt marshmallow on top....and nutmeg sprinkled on top made it worse. It was $5 and change.. please please revise your recipe for White hot chocolate! Add a dollop of whip cream to! Makes all the difference.. sorry but it was really not a white hot chocolate at all.

Customer service was amazing - very friendly and accommodating. I got the honey almond latte and loved it! Perfect level of sweetness and the barista really payed attention to detail in the presentation.

Stopped by because the reviews were high. Tried a really yummy pistachio mocha which they decorated with real pistachios. Paired it with a light flakey almond croissant , those better ones with the almond filling injected into it instead of the cut croissant with spread. Cute place but they could do with some upkeep like washing the free tables and also maybe a curtain cover for the table that has all the coffee lids and sugars and stirrers etc... The bottom shelves are packed w supplies and it looks messy. Also maybe fix up the ceiling. Otherwise great food ! So 4.5 only cause of the upkeep needed.

Went over here to do some last-minute studying before a driving test and what a fantastic find Service and Food was great. I got myself a mocha and a chicken sandwich. Mocha was made with actual chocolate, and they even gave a chocolate square with the beverage. The chicken sandwich was filling and delicious... Its definitely a gem discovery, and a must try

Best cafe in Scarborough by a mile. You don t often get food that has this much quality, fills you up, and is at a great price. Drinks are also amazing, they make any cafe style drink you re feeling and they do it well. It would be wise to choose Caffeine over the Starbucks across the lot. You ll spend about the same amount of money, possibly less, but you will be much more satisfied.

Ive been coming here this year, 2023, and Im happy i found this gem. Healthy food, sandwiches, salads, drinks, and pastries . Staff is very friendly and inviting. Great start for the day with a smashed avocado sandwich with a perfect coffee perfect eatery. Not over priced by any means for the quality you get. Vegetarian options: A number of different vegetarian opptions not like other eateries. Parking: Lots of parking around the premises never need too worry. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes Wheelchair accessible for the customer.

Love this place everytime I drop in which unfortunately has been a while ( COVID!!) I am so happy they are going strong even though the devil known as Starbucks moved across the parking lot. Best coffee in Toronto so far. If you like coffee, this is a step up from Tim Hortons or Starbucks. The black coffee is full bodied. The temp is not too hot that it scalds your mouth. I tried the Cuban roasted pork sandwich for lunch and it was great. Will definitely be back for more coffee. Parking: It was easy to find a spot close to the shop.

Wonderful service, excellent food and coffee. Had the chocolate croissant, Caesar salad, and coffee. Croissant was flaky on the outside and smooth and buttery on the inside. I would guess they bake them in-house. Coffee was as all premium coffees are. Caesar salad was refreshing and light. Most of all, very affordable for the menu items they offer. I would expect to pay premium prices elsewhere for prepackaged and precooked pastries or sandwiches.

Awesome staf!. Amazing snacks! Should open more outlets! I had the Pesto Croissant, every single time I went in as I love pesto and they used it very well. Their coffee is self-serve but good. The seating is ample as it doesnt get very busy (dont know how?) and theres a high table next to the front glass wall, looking over the street. A good location for a short coffee visit or to read a book/ make some digital art. Id been waiting in line for the Indian Visa for multiple days but this was my goto, feel good place as those lines are never ending. Will come again if I end up in the area. Recommend. Update 2023, Aug (a year later): Still a delightful place to go. Justin is always very welcoming!

Coffee and treats are good, but....... The owner (partner) brings baked goods to the display case without gloves and rang up my cash sale as well.. money and food with her hands. I was so shocked, she noticed and became surley. She said your welcome in an icy tone. Like after fondling the food I should thank her. Who knows sanitary conditions are being followed in the back. Oh and by the way, im the ex customer. Its my money you are receiving. Omg. I talked to the gent behind the counter after and he said she and him own the joint. I told him that she should not be touching food and cash. Like he needs me to tell him. He shrugged. Yeah I know he said. Omg. Used to be my fave joint in the area.

Awesome atmosphere. Very welcoming and the customer service is amazing. I am always leaving the shop with a smile on my face! Their menu is creative and contains snacks/meals/beverages that you dont normally see in your average coffee shop. Hopefully they will be able to expand their locations in the future as the city needs more shops like this!

Amazing coffee, delicious food and refreshingly pleasant service! To clarify, they make actually good espresso drinks that don t need all the milk and syrups to make it tolerable, which is rare around here.

All coffee drinks are made really well with real ingredients. Sandwiches are the best Ive ever had and they smoke their meat and fish themselves. Owners are super sweet and always welcoming. I live a distance away now and I trek for their food. Cannot recomend highly enough.

The coffee & food sure beats starbucks. There is a nice selection of artisan sandwiches & salads. I came here to do some work and it has the perfect quiet, calming atmosphere to get some work done or go for a quick brunch. Definitely a gem in this plaza.

This place is the best! Their menu is expansive with so many unique drink and food options and the quality of their fare is incredible!! Their iced honey almond matcha drink is hands down the best matcha Ive ever had, and their vegan yuzu sandwich is delicious and hearty. Im so glad to have a small coffee shop in the area to support instead of the big chains, and I cant wait to keep coming back to Caffeine! Id love to see vegan baked goods in their window too :)

My sister visited this place for the first time two weeks ago and was amazed! She took me back here. I truly enjoyed the organic chai latte (iced). The customer service is excellent. The owner is attentive, welcoming, and friendly. It just has a great atmosphere! Loveliest cafe I ve been to in a while!

Its a nice little Cafe and the Staff makes you feel very welcome. We got cappuccino, iced coffee, classic sandwich and croissant with avocado and cream cheese. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend.

My first time here and this place exceeded my expectations. I got the Classic Sandwich and it was super fresh. I could just tell how fresh all the ingredients were. I also got a Lavender London Fog iced tea with oat milk. The tea blew my mind. The hint of lavender with earl grey was just on point. I stopped by this place to make sure it was okay for me and my Manager to have a quick touch point for work stuff. And yes, I m definitely bringing him here.

This is a really great quality, small, boutique cafe. I dont give 5 stars easily or often, but this cafe definitely earned it and deserves it! The quality and fresh ingredients of their food, from their sandwiches, pastries, and in-house smoked salmon, is fantastic! Their coffee, espresso drinks, and lattes are the best tasting and freshest quality youll find anywhere. They have some wonderful, creative offerings, such as their Pistachio Mocha, and their smoked salmon sandwich, which includes apple, pickled peppers, and baby spinach on a small brioche bun - a surprisingly delightful and delicious flavour combination the owner came-up with himself. They serve a small variety of in-house fresh baked pastries, including almond croissants, which are a personal favourite. The proprietor provides warm, welcoming, friendly, personal service, and gets to know his regular customers by name. And the prices are fairly reasonable. I only wish this place was somewhere closer to my neighborhood.

Just moved to the area, and tried Caffeine the other day for the first time. Unbelievably friendly people and delicious coffee (fresh ground beans for every cup of regular coffee, not to mention the long menu of other things!) Plus the croissant I had was seriously one of the best pastries ever. I would 100% choose this restaurant over Starbucks or any other coffee shop any day. Cannot recommend it enough!

An incredible place. This place has really evolved, even during this pandemic era, and it has become quite stylish as well. Local, but also quality and great customer service. Great coffees and teas, and quick bites - something for any type of taste and pallet. This cafe is a gem in more ways than one because consider how there is nothing like this (independent cafes) in this district in the city/borough of North York (its right at the North York-Scarborough border), besides the usual generic, corporate and thin coffee places. Support Canadian, local and independent but also support quality and community such as Caffeine.

Drinks are meticulously made and crafted. Each drink is prepared with utmost care and effort whilst being friendly and warm to the customer . The cappuccino is very fresh and is a delight when you need a pick me up. The hot toddy is a very refreshing and delicious drink. The hot chocolate with toasted marshmallows was amazing and quite a change from a machine based hot chocolate. The prices are very affordable as well. They also give a Swiss chocolate with every drink which adds a nice touch. Would highly recommend this place. Try this place for a change rather than the starbucks which is in the same plaza.

The staff member I met was really friendly and we had a great conversation. The croissant was flaky, fresh, and delicious. The americano and iced coffee I ordered were exactly what I was looking for. Im definitely glad I stopped by!

I wish I could give this place more stars. My dad told me to go try it out, and I can say it was incredible. The customer service was amazing, you can tell he cares about every customer that comes in. The coffee tasted incredible, and the sandwiches had the perfect balance of flavours. Just recently found this amazing place and I love it. I ordered a iced latte and it was delicious and made perfectly. Really good quality espresso. And also tried the classic chicken and spicy salmon, both were very yummy. Very fresh and the caffeine mayo is omg delicious. They should bottle that. Also got the almond croissants for my mom and hubby and they absolutely loved it. I highly recommend this place.

I almost never write reviews, but this Buisness deserves it. We tried 3 of their vegetarian sandwiches, and I have to admit I have never such a delicious and fresh vegetarian sandwiches in my life. The taste was fresh, complex and extremely filling. They are organized, polite, on time, and the food was out of this world delicious. I dont know the owner, but I am certain hes a culinary genius. Thank you for the incredible food! We will see you again soon

I have been going here for years. The sandwiches are excellent and so is the coffee! They used to have great brie and cranberry crossusnt sandwich! The people running the place are very friendly. Please support this local small buisness!

The owners Justin and Sophia are just wonderful. They are super friendly and genuinely kind. And the foods is fanatic and fresh! They have a great selection And are happy to make any modifications required. bakery items are also delicious recommend the chocolate croissant (ate before I got a picture.) lattes are also great as will continue to try all of them eventually. :) photo is the classic sandwich! So good!

Their vegan sandwich was pretty good and filling. They also have soup and salads that are vegan, which is nice since there aren t many vegan places in the area.

I was here for my husbands driving test and had to kill some time, it was 9 o clock so of course going to have some coffee, right across the driving test is the Starbucks so thought of going there first but then my eyes landed on the this shop and I thought to myself let s try a new thing today, and I m so glad I did, I ordered coffee and apricot croissant, let me tell you this WORTH EVERY PENNY, loved the customer service, the vibe of the coffee shop and the coffee and food. It s so worth it to give your support to local shops then the big brands.

Delicious, fresh, healthy food and fresh baked goods. Every time I order through Uber Eats it is 100% satisfying. They got it right with their beets its hard to find beets that are enjoyable to eat but their smoked sandwich is balanced and delicious.
