I always get their jerk chicken bowl at a bogo offer on dash. Some days their quantity is inconsistent, especially with the chicken portion. But over all the jerk chicken is amazon Food : 4/5

Second time we catered with them, and each time has been exceeded in all categories.

I mean it s not poison, it s edible, but it s also not good, toughest chewiest oxtail I ve ever had doused in a watered down what has to be powdered gravy or bbq sauce, there is nothing authentic about this, I ve been eating oxtail for 27 years and this is definitely the worst. You guys need to get some Jamaican people in there cooking or just close down cause although the portion size is fair for the price you do not know what you re doing, this is sad, I m in shock at how bland and tough it was.. hope you guys take this and fix your issues, the photos of the location look very nice and it looks clean but the food was not great.

I ordered a Curried Goat meal using the uber eats app. The meat I received was not goat meat, it taste and look like beef. Please do not label your dishes as curry goat if you cannot offer sn authentic Jamaican meal. Selling other meat kond and charging for goat meat is called false advertisement. Just to note I am Jamaican and I can recognize goat meat with my eyes closed. Rice and Peas and plaintain was good.

I recently ordered lunch for my workplace for our end of year celebration from scottybon, and from start to finish, it was seamless. The online ordering system was user-friendly, and the menu was packed with enticing options. Each dish arrived perfectly packaged, hot, and beautifully presented a sign of the care they put into every order. What truly impressed me, however, was the extraordinary customer service from William the manager. Shortly after placing my order, I received a call from him to confirm a special request I had made regarding dietary preferences. William s attention to detail and willingness to accommodate made me feel valued as a customer. William went out of his way to call me and triple checked to ensure my order was correct. When the food arrived everything was packed and very well organized. He was very generous with the portions and the quality of food was better than I excepted. The quality and quantity of food surprised me, as other places are cutting back on their portion but not at this scottybon s location. It didn t stop there. The manager took the time to call me to ask about my experience with scottybon and if I was satisfied with the service and food. That level of care and thoughtfulness is something you rarely see, especially in the takeout industry. I highly recommend scottybon to anyone looking for an exceptional takeout experience. A huge thank you to the manager William and the entire team for their hard work and dedication. You ve gained a loyal customer, and I can t wait to order again soon!

Cant even rate the food, the staff dont know how many pieces of chicken are in the lunch combo so why would I order it. Is it a drumstick? Is it a thigh ? Multiple pieces ? Like please you should know this

I was uber pickup driver there & at night i asked the male employee there for using the washroom & he said its only for customers & he was very rude also .

But, this time, I had another employee served me today since the previous employee was off today. Moreover, the employee that served I and the family did an amazing job in terms of the portion size. Asked for a Roti, and it was more of a bowl than a wrap, but after eating half i realized i enjoyed it as a dinner with a fork as much as i would a handheld... next time im out this way ill stop again

ever since i found out about ScottyBons, I ve never eaten from Popeyes or any other fast food restaurants. This restaurant provides the most tastiest meals at incredibly low prices. If you haven t eaten here yet I highly suggest you try anything on the menu. You will not regret it.

I love this place! I go here at least once a week and have never been disappointed so I figured I d leave a review. The place is always spic and span, it s got a great vibe, the employees are always super helpful, nice and fast, and most importantly, the jerk chicken is out of this world. Highly recommend!

This place was recommended by a friend so I thought to stop by and grab a beef patty. The pieces were warm and sumptuous. I also loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, large walk in area and a few stools. Food

Don t be fooled. They get people to write 5 star reviews for a free drink. I went in and had ordered enough food for them not to be stingy but the girl at the front serving would act like she s putting ingredients in my food but also just take them back out. The bowls also aren t filled like they use to be. Then you re surprised to see you aren t tipped? I asked for a bit more corn and she threw 4 pieces of corn in while taking the rest back to the ingredient bin. Also, told me she d have to charge me $1 if I wanted more after I called her out. So pathetic! I spent close to $50 within 5 minutes and you couldn t add corn!? What a joke. How can you keep a customer base if you re going to serve us like we re fools. Little corn isn t going to make or break you when you don t even fill up the bowls anymore. This left such a bad taste in my mouth for this establishment. I ve been going to many Scotty bons locations from Scarborough to Toronto to even the Brampton one. But definitely the worst! Do better. Or train your employees. At the time I came in there was a gentleman and two women working.

Came here Saturday near closing. Food tasted bland and gave me the runs. The two workers preparing the food cracking jokes in another language (Indian) while serving customers. Never coming back

I like Scotty Bons. I know people say it isnt real Carribean food and I get it, but I still like it. I like the fusion. I get the chicken curry bowl and my husband gets the jerk chicken bowl. Has great portions and pretty much always good.

Meat was not thoroughly cooked. This was not only nasty but also a safety concern. It was also quite slimey. The pattys are usually over cooked or burnt as well. When the first opened it was pretty good. Now they have fallen off.

I ordered on Uber eats and I was happy to see how big the portion was. Delicious meal!

Portions are extremely small now, they used to give you food that made sense for the price. Now it doesnt at all. I stopped going. Place is pretty dead now too, so I think folks in the area realized they started skimping out on portions as well.

I ve been coming to this Scotty Bons for the past 2 years as this location is a convenient pit stop on my way home from work. Normally, I ve gotten two toppings on my bowl and when I ve asked for extra they ve provided it without an additional charge, as they typically gave 4 toppings per bowl. Today they told me that it is company policy to charge for extra toppings. But charging $1 for a small sauce container equivalent is definitely not worth the price! It s a shame that their quality has gone downhill, because I really enjoyed the consistency of Scotty s. I can t justify continuing to support this business after they ve changed their spicy hot sauce and got rid of the jalapeños to replace them with the Scotty pickle, which is never the freshest :(!

This IS NOT Caribbean food . They have Caribbean items but don t disgrace our islands with this mess. Fool those other people if you want to but authentic Caribbeans know this ain t it and will never be.

One of my favourite take out restaurants in Toronto. Love the jerk chicken bowls and the variety of flavourful toppings they offer. Only complaint is that they need to open more locations closer to me!

Dont buy the pattys, theyre frozen grocery store pattys. They used to have homemade fresh pattys. Now they only sell 1 dollar pattys for 4 bucks and dont care about their quality anymore.

I tried the jerk chicken bowl with rice and peas and LOVED it. The portions are massive and can easily be shared amongst two people.

Been here several times and the food is always good. I d suggest avoiding the corn because it has pineapple in it and it s very unexpected if you re just expecting corn - overly sweet. Otherwise the bowls are really good in particular. Staff is always chill and friendly.

Picked up a delicious chicken bowl to bring home. Venue was bright and clean, portions were generous, and the taste was great! Did not find the items to be too greasy or heavy/creamy (eg coleslaw was just right). Enjoyed our meals from here, and I can enjoy the leftovers today!

Ordered a sandwich. Was ok but not quite the same as their outstanding Bloor location. Portion and toppings were a bit smaller and there are no lunch specials. Better than most but with so much competition in the area, not sure if it s worth the premium pricing.

Giving a 3 because when we order in, we get exactly what we want in terms of toppings, sauces, etc. This is our second time getting it delivered and my husband loves the jerk poutine. HOWEVER, there s always hardly any gravy.. I m not sure if it s because it is being delivered.. but atleast put it in a separate container then.

I usually order in and never really have any issues until today.. i ordered a meal and who ever fixed it added on some stuff that i dont eat.. and i had to throw a good bit of it away.. very disappointing bc i was hungry and it ruined the taste that i personally preferred and agreed to pay for.. please for Gods sake give the correct order.. because we expect what we agreed to pay for things a bit too expensive to be playing with peoples food or money.. simply all i ask..

My third experience from ordering at this location. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, however food is not on point. On all 3 separate visits I found the meat portions served cold and difficult to eat. I have had food at the other locations and found out much better, bloor location is easily the best.

Been here many times before but now the portions have been reduced and chicken tasteless. Used to be a good portion (2-2.5 pieces chicken) now it s one tiny piece of bland chicken in the sandwhich for $8. Avoid.

Food didnt taste at all like jerk chicken. It wasnt awful, but certainly didnt feel authentic. The spice and flavour were way off, and the attempt to make the dishes feel more American fell flat.

Not a lot of place to sit here but the staff here is above and beyond. There was a power cut in the building and payment terminals were down and we only had limited cash on us. The manager went above and beyond to ensure that we got everything we came in for and served us with a smile. The food here is also exceptionally good with well cooked and seasoned jerk chicken everytime I go. Very consistent.

Ordered through uber eats. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. Pros: I ordered the jerk chicken bowl and it was a good portion. The rice tastes of coconut milk with a bit of sugar in there, which is good in my books. The toppings are great. They need to improve on 1. the temperature of the food (mine did not arrive hot or even warm); 2. jerk chicken needs work because it tastes like plain baked chicken. In conclusion I would eat here again but I would try another dish. If you want real jerk chicken this isn t the best place but you can get a hearty meal. Edit: hot sauce has good spice level if you like a little fire on the tongue

Parneet truly gave me a great experience. She was extremely friendly, attentive, and gave generous portions (in comparison to other locations i ve visited). Tried the Jerk Chicken sandwich. Beautifully paired with refreshing cole slaw. Not sure why they have cheese as an option. Many sauces are great, however the coco flap absorbs the sauces too fast making the inside a bit soft and soggy if not eaten immediately. Awesome that they have a grill press to give the outside of the coco bread a bit of crunch. Would suggest grabbing the plate or a sandwich for a quick bite. Under $8 before taxes is unheard of nowadays. What a great find - a place for a quick, refreshing Jamaican-inspired fast food sandwich. Quality and taste for a great price.

Got the bbq chicken bowl and it was pretty good! I ve also tried their jerk chicken sandwiches which I really love though!!! Definitely recommend trying those.

This place went downhill since it opened. I know food prices went up but very stingy with the portions. Especially spending $14.95 for a bowl. I remember when Scottys first open they filled the bowls nicely now they give half portions even when u ask for more rice they give a small scoop and spread to make the bottom looked covered. I ordered 4 bowls and the serving size in all 4 was very small no rice at all

Only tried this place through delivery, however, the food always seems to have fresh ingredients. Jerk chicken for me is the highlight. If youre looking for a good Caribbean inspired food, this place is definitely worth a try.

Excellent food, the heat is a slow building heat with great flavor. Apparently a hit with the local fire department too, a whole crew stopped in for dinner.

Very high quality Caribbean food. Similar go Roywoods but with more variety in sides and condiments. The dining space at this location is extremely tidy and sparkling. I tried the oxtail and it was excellent. Fall off the bone meat, deep and rich gravy, and flavourful. Highly recommended. Would like to try the legendary poutine. Vegetarian options: A few entrees and condiments are vegan. Parking: Lots of street side parking adjacent to the restaurant
