They don't speak English and they don't have any idea how to run a business. It's amazing that these people are even allowed to operate a business without speaking English. And of course they don't have the sense to have adequate staff either. Late for everything. No explanation because they don't even speak our language
Wow, $8 for 4 shengjian baos, as a comparison, $4.59 at Shanghai Dimsum in Markham, $7 in First Markham Place for same amount of pieces, I guess higher rents causes higher prices. Baos overall were Ok, could have been more soupy/juicier. Dough/meat ratio as good as it should be. My personal opinion is that it's not good value for your hard earned money but if you're craving for shengjian Bao in the neighborhood, then you do you.
So yes .. for the Bao lovers out there .. this little gem is as good as Sang-Ji fried Bao. I love a good pot sticker and this little place delivers ☺️ Feeling adventurous? Try the salted yoke and pork Bao! For the more conservative palette, they have pork and shrimp and pork baos that literally burst with flavor!!! Friendly staff and quick service! Located at the Food Basics building at Yonge and Sheppard! I'm so glad the subway line got shut down and I got stranded and hungry today🙌🤗 life... Has a funny way of working itself out🥰
Out of this world 🌎 2 Chinese fried doughnut sticks with black and white sesame and sugar, and salted egg coated MOCHI in the middle! Very interesting dessert, crunchy and chewy all at the same time! The concept was genius, but the flavours between the two flavours I ordered tasted the same even though they were suppose to be different. The buns were not bad and liked how they had a variety of fillings to choose from. FYI it is situated inside a food court.
Got a couple of items including the pork filled Bao, wonton soup, and scallion noodle with peanut butter. The wonton soup was my favourite. Good flavour in the soup and huge wontons. The Bao and scallion noodles were as expected compared to similar restaurants, although I would prefer the noodles to be less dry (will try the non peanut butter version next time). Looking forward to return and try more items
We tried Signature Flaky Pancakes and Fried Buns. Both tasted good but a bit pricy. Pancake tasted good but cost $7, I think it was too much for the size of the portion. My friend tasted buns as it contains pork, there is no non-pork option.
Came here to try out what the name of the place is. The fried buns are really good. The bad part is that it can get pretty pricey. With price be weary of the extra cost for putting items into separate boxes. There’s an extra cost associated with it. Ordered the shrimp fried buns and the pork fried buns. I would recommend the shrimp buns. Again, all in the name, the buns are really packed with soupy goodness. So be careful when biting into it. Nice little snack to have. Everything made fresh and to order so it did take a little bit of time, but wait time was more than adequate. Staff were really friendly, and he even stepped out to hand us our order. Would like to try their flaky pancake next time around!!
I have been heard of this place a while but never had the chance to try. I went there yesterday and food were very delicious. Buns are very juicy and you can tell they use high-quality meat since the taste is very fresh. Soup is also a good match with fried buns. Also, service is quick and staff there are friendly. Would highly recommend this place👍
Ordered takeout at noon, a portion of Family Portrait wontons, pot stickers, and ice noodles. I started experiencing severe pain in my abdomen three hours after eating. I ate this takeaway all day long. At night, the pain was so severe that I called an ambulance and was taken to the emergency room for diagnosis of food poisoning. Although my comment may have little effect, I dont want this to happen to others again. Everyone, think twice before you go.
It s super unpalatable, really, expensive and unpalatable.
Served undercooked meat. still pink in the middle
Meat sour
The pan fried buns were totally flat, not with crunchy base. The meat inside was stale.
Unpalatable! ! ! The meat in the wontons was very stale!
Yummy Xiao long bao and beef noodles! Price is really great as well
New owners, same dishes and taste and some new ones. Now called JiangNan Handmade Dim Sum
Unpalatable and small amount
I ordered a few portions of Sheng Jian to be taken out to my friends, but after eating them, my friends all had abdominal pain and diarrhea. They had eaten the same Sheng Jian from this restaurant. You can make pan-fried food like this, it s so unhygienic.
There are three kinds of pan-fried meat, pan-fried meat and shrimp, pan-fried fresh meat, and pan-fried salted egg yolk. It feels like there is basically no other taste except saltiness and no umami. The fresh meat is like minced meat, with a crispy outer skin, but the mashed meat has a bad texture and a very average taste. It is indeed juicy, but maybe it doesnt suit my taste. The taste is very single and ordinary. Once you taste one of each, you wont want to eat the next one. I won t repurchase, and I won t order another star for the fried salted egg yolk. It s quite creative, and the salted egg yolk inside is pretty good.
good
They gave me $12 for free randomly on UberEats. Pretty legit if u ask me lol
The clerk looked at me in a hurry and I was worried for her. I suggested more training. The taste was really average. The skin of the small wontons was Cantonese style and the wonton skin had an alkaline taste. The soup was made from the wonton soup. The pan-fried fish and the meat in the small cage were too shredded. The taste is average and the pan-fried skin is okay, but the steamed buns are really not that good.
It s really not delicious. It s the first time I ve eaten something so disgusting.
It s really not delicious It s the first time I ve seen scallion noodles like this and it completely overturned my outlook
I love pork wonton soup and theirs is some of the best Ive had in toronto!
Absolutely a gem! Their dumplings are very authentic and taste so delicious!! Their soup dumplings also to die for. This place is definitely my go to when I m craving soup. You can taste and feel the love put into the dumplings! Definitely recommend this place!
The boss lady is so unrealistic and treats everyone else as a fool! Without exposing you to your face, I will evaluate you here. This store is now called Hua Jiangnan. There are only a few fried buns in one portion. Are two of them hollow like this?
First of all, I don t want the mushrooms myself. But your pickled rice? Is it the vegetable luncheon meat rice bowl? The cook is in a bad mood today and is too lazy to cut it for me? Ive ordered it several times before but it never looks like this. Dont tell me its always like this. No more refunds. The store has a good attitude. I changed it to a Samsung. I hope this wont happen in the future.
This bite will make me autistic. It s so sour.
The boss, who had always thought it was delicious, also had a very good attitude. When I went to pick it up this time, I saw that the kitchen aunt and the front desk guy were not wearing masks in the kitchen. It was really irresponsible when the epidemic was so serious.
Is the meat in pan-fried food sour? Added vinegar? Still... dont like it~
The taste is okay, but there is a problem. I don t know if the store can change the delivery fee of Uber eats. If it can, it will be a bit funny because of the small layout of the store. The delivery fee will be 0 until I get the restaurant reward. Wait for me to get it. After receiving the reward at the restaurant, suddenly the reward was exactly the same as the one given by Fabian.
The fried buns were stale. They had been sitting in the pan. They were re-fried for our order, hence they were dry and hard as a rock. They are very pricey for the quality you get. The beef vermicelli soup and wonton soup were OK, nothing special but nothing to complain about either.
Food is below average, especially their bao. Price doesn t match menu and cashier wouldn t tell you. Pay attention on how much you pay!!! Do not recommend!!
Be sure to pay attention! Their fried pork filling is sour! Already reported!
It s true that I never give reviews, but this place is really terrible. Everything tastes the same. I d really appreciate it.
The food tastes okay, but the kitchen staff doesnt wear a mask while cooking, and keeps talking. The kitchens of other businesses in the same square basically all operate with masks. The girl who checked out took out a fried dough stick and continued making snacks without washing her hands after using the POS machine, which made people feel that it was not very hygienic.
The pork and prawn wontons in chilli oil - absolutely fantastic!!!! Tried all the buns as well, the owner prepares everything from scratch, the service is so warm and inviting the food really hits the spot!!!
The boss is very nice
Best fried buns in the town! Juicy, crispy and hot. Had it with noodles, love it.
Was craving for Shanghai fried buns for long time. My colleague recommended this restaurant to me so I assume it s authentic. When I was there, the queue was not so long, I waited for around 10mins. The staff are very friendly and polite. I ordered 3 different flavors, pork soup bun, shrimp bun and pork bun with egg. Shrimp bun is the best! But I would recommend pork soup bun if it s your first time tried this kind of buns. The best way of eating soup buns is to pop the entire thing in your mouth and let them burst! The skin is thin and very crispy. The fillings are juicy. Besides pan-fired buns, they also got many other dishes, like boild noodles with onion, various soups and etc. It s worth trying other side dish as well. The buns are of authentic Shanghai taste, it s hard to find such a place in Toronto. I will definitely order other dishes next time. Strongly recommend if you like Shanghai food like me.
So delicious! The boss is handsome and kind-hearted. He s very busy and he keeps recommending me If you like Shanghai Hangbang cuisine, you must try it! Sincerely recommend ~
Love it
If you like pan-fried buns, you can try it here You will never be disappointed
I have always wanted to eat pan-fried buns, so I searched on Google for a store near my home. I saw this store had good reviews, so I came here with my friends! Although the store is not big, it has the flavor of a domestic stall! It is said that the boss is an authentic Hangzhou native. He has been studying Hangzhou cuisine and has a deep understanding of the tastes of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai! As someone who has been on exchange in Shanghai for a year, I am so hungry for this! I went for the pan-fried buns, but I didn t expect that the scallion noodles are also very good! Their specialty is pan-fried buns, including their signature pan-fried buns, as well as newly developed pan-fried buns with egg yolk pork and shrimp. In addition to buying the traditional one, I also tried the shrimp flavor! Its super delicious, very juicy, and there are two big shrimps inside! The price is worth it. The scallion oil noodles surprised me because I rarely eat noodles, but this taste made me finish the whole bowl. The boss should always be watching in the store, so the quality and hygiene of the food are guaranteed. The overall feeling is very friendly, the clerk is very polite, and will hand over anything you want with both hands. I took a look at their menu, and they also have Xiao Long Bao, Siu Mai, and Big Bone Soup with Green Vegetables. They all look good. I plan to come back next time with my friends to try the other ones!
Delicious fried buns. I always receive phenomenal customer service. The Green Bean Paste with Ice Jelly dessert is great, especially in the hot weather. Thanks for the nice experience, and keep up the great work. :)
Tasty food! Great service!
Pan-fried prawns are delicious!
The skin at the pinch of the pan-fried food is too thick, and the filling tastes average. Not recommended.
Would not recommend. The zhen jian baos dough to meat proportions are terrible. I found that the bottom dough layer (fried part) to be way too thick!! If you look at the pic, the fried dough part takes up 1/2 of the entire bao. I would recommend TanDaBan (Yonge/Steeles) or Sanji Fried Baos for zhen jian instead... Check out Yelp for more authentic reviews.
The taste is strange. I will not recommend. The skin of buns is way too thick on the bottom. The taste is strange, I will not recommend buying it. The bottom skin is too thick and tastes bad. The flavor of the filling is also not good, it has a very greasy but not fresh texture, and the filling tastes very floury. Price and taste are not on the same level.
Food doesn t taste good and horrible customer service. Way too expensive for what I have expected.
Cannot be worse, bad customer services, bad taste..... If there are 0 stars, you should choose 0 stars
The buns were too greasy, but the sangji was still delicious. I wouldnt have bought it if it wasnt for the special price, but I didnt expect it to be a surprise. ================================================== === Dont comment casually, otherwise you will be called a competitor.
I hope they bankrupt soon. This place is next level of terrible service, Ordered on app prepaid and told 30 min est. Drove there 30 mins after the order, the cashier didnt even started the order which is OK if they are busy but no they are not busy at all. And the cashier complete the order on the app even without starting working on the order. I hope they bankrupt soon. Boss, can you stop talking nonsense? There is no subsidy for platform discounts. You don t have to participate. If you participate, you are participating. When the customer places an order, you don t do it. When the customer comes, you are asked to wait, and then you click to complete it in seconds? So this is your approach to hospitality? Ridiculous, I hope you close down soon! ! !
The pan-fried food is really delicious. Pianerchuan plus braised pork is absolutely
So delicious, you have to try!
Colorful pan-fried buns for kids
The new version of pan-fried pancake is so delicious, I ve definitely never had it in Toronto. The taste of pineapple fritters chicken wings is so unique. Good reviews!
They advertised 6.99 for 4 fried buns but charged me 10.50 because of updated prices NOT WORTH DO NOT GO
The boss is very enthusiastic, the food is delicious, the pan-fried fish is very authentic, very nice
Disgusting
I visited the restaurant when they were about to closing and ordered 2 bundles. The owner(I guess) told me that the buns available were not perfectly cooked, so they were not going to charge me for the buns in the bundles. I ended up taking the buns for free but it actually tasted really good. I will for sure go eat there again and can not help expecting to try their perfectly cooked buns.
The order picture is below. I don t know how you divided the family, but the fact is that there is something wrong with this bowl of shredded pork noodles with pickled vegetables. I dont need any compensation now, I just need you to apologize and pay more attention to foreign objects in lunch boxes or meals in the future. I ordered your takeout more than once during the epidemic, and I could post them one by one. Why did I wait until now to blackmail you? If you still think I want to plunder wool, then I have nothing to say... -------------------------------------------------- --------------- Ive ordered takeout from this restaurant several times, and to be honest, the wontons and pan-fried dishes taste pretty good. Today I suddenly wanted to eat shredded pork noodles with pickles and pan-fried vegetables, so I ordered takeout. After arriving, I opened it and took a few bites. I felt something very hard chewing in my mouth. I thought it was a stone at first. As a result, it was found that there were staplers from the stapler inside. After the incident happened, I quickly contacted customer service. The customer service said that the merchant would only refund the money and add a $10 coupon. After the communication was fruitless, I chose not to receive any refund or coupon. After indicating that he wanted to leave a review, Xiaohongche s customer service directly forcibly refunded me the price of the single bowl of noodles without my consent... I was speechless... To be honest, I couldn t find it on Uber at the beginning. It is impossible to open the little red car in this takeaway restaurant. Regarding the stores attitude towards this matter, I can only say that I am disappointed... Generally speaking, if there is cotton thread or hair in the noodles, or if the dish is wrong, I am too lazy to call customer service. However, it is really intolerable to have such a hard object in a customers food. If the noodles sucked faster and were swallowed directly... I hope other people who see it will pay attention to their own food...
expensive
The pan-fried pan-fried food tastes terrible and very expensive...
Delicious pan-fried buns
There are many kinds of food, delicious, and the service is good, especially the fat lady from Northeast China who is very enthusiastic!
Exceptional food and great service attitude
Bad value. Ate here a few weeks ago. For $15 plus tax you get 4 small fried buns and a small bowl of soup noodles with not much in it. Tastes fine which is why this isnt a 1 star review, but this is extremely expensive. Throwing in a few extra noodles and a bit more vegetable would be nice. Not like it costs that much more.
Wonton soup was almost all broth. The wontons were basically empty. The fried buns were very greasy and the wonton soup was quite oily. I paid $16 for some measly Chinese food. Will not be coming back here.
As a Jiangnan person, I am quite picky about this, so I d give it a 3 points for taste. The juiciness effect is good, and there is quite a lot of meat. The mutton smell of the pork is not handled well, the taste is relatively simple, and the skin on the bottom is hard but not crispy. But I m still being picky, it s great to be able to eat like this in Duocun. One more point of encouragement + the boss s service is pretty good.
My favorite mung bean paste ever
This is definitely a fantastic place to eat buns! We came from New Jersey USA, visited this food shop a few days ago, the owner is very warm and friendly, food is delicious! Never thought we could find such an authentic buns store in North York, highly recommend to other people!
This is the best place to eat in Toronto.. best customer service as well
Huge, huge, huge, delicious pan-fried buns! ! ! Satisfied
tasty
The new Tonggu Pot is delicious, fresh and affordable.
Very good. You should try it
Super recommended! Especially their salted egg yolk pan-fried pancake, which really has a whole salted egg yolk inside, super affordable!
It s really great to be able to taste the taste of my hometown
So many tricks! Rich stuff!
It s not delicious. The noodles are really terrible. The scallion oil noodles taste like soy sauce noodles. I couldn t eat the takeout after two bites.
The pan-fried food is so delicious, right? The boss has a great attitude Such delicious pan-fried food
Ordered it on Uber the bun is too salty.........
The bosses are all handsome and highly qualified (nearly 100,000 square feet). The pickled vegetables and big bones and the big wontons are unbeatable and delicious.
The best fried pancakes in Toronto! The boss is super nice~
The boss is super nice, the hand pancakes, large Chaos and prawns pan-fried are all delicious
The only choice for me at this place
tasty,
Best fried bun everrrrr!
best fried bun in Toronto
The buns are delicious and the boss is nice
The boss is so generous. Super delicious
Please avoid this restaurant, meat is NOT FRESH, had a diarrhea right after having food from this restaurant, and felt disgusted for the rest of the day. Will NEVER EVER order from this place ever again.
Super delicious
Very delicious. Excellent. The boss is super nice. The food is great for repeat customers.
Their food is really delicious! I love their fried buns!! One of the best in Toronto! Highly recommended!!!
It s so delicious The taste of hometown
Definitely five stars. You should take this bite of universe. Juicy, crispy, tasty. Noodles are great too. Lucky to get this limited offer signature noodle.
30mins drive for the fried buns and it worth it! Love the salted egg stuffing ones most. Best of the best. Also highly recommend the beef vermicelli soup. Will visit again.
The boss is handsome, fast, and has a population of nearly 100,000 yuan. Not only are their steamed buns delicious, but their Hangzhou noodles and bone soup are also top-notch
Very Good!
Really delicious! ! The fried buns have thin skin and are filled with soup! I love the taste of my hometown!
tasty
The buns were very juicy and tasty. Very fast service. The price is okay.
I have been eating them for a week in a row and highly recommend this fried chicken restaurant. It is by far the best in Toronto. Peanut butter and scallion oil noodles, Sanpin fried fried chicken and Jinhua casserole bone pot are all highly recommended. The boss is very polite and the people are nice. It s particularly good. Sometimes I feel like the takeout is too slow so I go to pick it up myself. The boss will give me something and he knows how to do business.
The best juicy fried bun in the city. I have been having this for a long time. The owner and people in the store are very nice and friendly. The place is clean and organized. Highly recommended
Delicious111
The boss is a nice person, open and generous.
The boss is nice and very polite. Its much better than the other two restaurants. The food is very authentic!
Delicious, delicious, handsome boss
A delicious batch
Good food!
It s delicious, I recommend everyone to buy it here
Every flavor of pan-fried pancake is delicious. The set menu also has many combinations. It s amazing.
Good times! The boss is handsome!
The most authentic pan-fried pancakes in Toronto, highly recommended. The boss s private Hang Bang noodles are also delicious! Satisfies the appetite of us Hangzhou people in Toronto!
There is no one must-eat delicacy on Yonge Street. It s great for foodies, the taste is authentic, and the boss is very nice!
Best spot in the food court! The buns live up to their name with a crispy bottom and juicy pork/shrimp inside. I wish I could afford to eat there every day, because if I could I would. On top of great food the staff are fantastic. The owner showed me how to best enjoy the buns on my first visit and has remembered me every time Ive come back. I recommend this place to all my friends and theyve always followed up with positive feedback and appreciation for the suggestion. Ive started bringing them to work when we do potlucks and now my peers ask about them when scheduling group events. Check this place out if you get the chance. I dont know if theyre doing delivery right now, but theyre still open even with the lockdowns. Seriously, you wont be disappointed! If you have never eaten this type of bun before, ask for a demo :)
The food is delicious and the boss is very nice
The boss is so nice! Open the door for me! Going to eat here tomorrow^_^
Excellent! Had the fried buns and the dessert. Can t wait to try the other items on the menu next time. Maybe a soup to go with the fried buns
The hot pan-fried noodles are delicious!
great food and wonderful people! keep high quality of the food.
I had their original buns and shrimp buns. U gotta be careful when u bite on it bcz it s VERY JUICY!!! I have 12 pcs all by myself. Very good quality. They are definitely the busiest restaurant in the building, which tells u how well they do.
The food is delicious. The most authentic pan-fried buns in Toronto. I have been eating them for a week. I am looking forward to their flagship store. It will satisfy our Shanghainese appetite! The service is also quite good, everything is delivered by hand, especially the girl at the front desk!
The boss is very enthusiastic but the most important thing is that the food is delicious!
Would not ever go again. Told me I can pay with other options (WeChat pay) and get discount but in the end I paid even more. Moreover, they gave me 7 buns instead of 8 which I have paid for.
Juicy fried bun are so special and taste very well. The wontons are in the new style with their special source. I recommend you all to try it
Disgusting everyone who gave u lower rating is your competitor? Customers cannot have negative reviews to your food? If everyone who left bad comments are your competitors, why you are still not the best restaurant in the world? You are not the center of universe, your food is indeed the waste of money and cannot compete other restaurants in Toronto. Lots of five star reviews are new users with 1-3 reviews, why don t u consider them as junk reviews? Check yorkbbs for your negative reviews among all real Chinese ppl, everyone is talking about your over rated google rating and your disgusting foods.
Very delicious pan-fried buns and wontons. So delicious
Torontos authentic pan-fried buns are super delicious. One bite is full of soup. I recommend the dry wontons! !
The boss is super nice and the food is delicious!
Not much to say, the best fried pancake in Toronto
The boss is handsome and has a handsome car. The pan-fried buns are nothing to say. It was the first time I ate salty soy milk and it was so delicious.
Love it! Best juicy bun for your cold days. The staff are very nice and very helpful.
Very delicious
Juicy fried bun is crazily yummy! Definitely one of the best foodie place in this area
Love desserts! !
Very delicious, love it so much
Its so unpalatable that I feel like vomiting when I smell it
A must eat in Toronto! ! The food is so delicious that it s worth driving for an hour. See you next time.
Delicious ! ! ! recommend! ! !
The boss is very polite and the steamed buns and wontons are also delicious. They get good reviews. Will continue to eat there
The boss is very nice and the buns are delicious
This place is awesome. Very delicious. Highly recommended.
The new Chaos is good. The ten flavors of Chaos are delicious and delicious.
Love them, best stinky tofu in town. Juicy buns are awesome!
First time trying it. Delicious
First time tryout, love the wonton with a salty egg yolk in it. Love it. Will go back again.
I heard many people recommend it. It s my first time to try it. It s delicious. There s a lot of fried fish and soup. I ll buy it again.
Super delicious
great dumplings and family restaurant
Wonderfully authentic and delicious offerings. I highly recommend Zhengs place.
Popular juicy dumplings with great taste. Make sure you order ahead to avoid line up! Take it easy and enjoy the juice( ) with variety of stuffing
I ordered today Zhengs fried buns for my staff, who loved and enjoyed the the quality and taste of their fried buns. We will order again from this nice place located at 4750 Yonge Street, Toronto.
The ten flavors are amazing! The soup is also very fresh! Pan-fried buns with large fillings, thin skin and juicy soup!
Very great flavours! The peanut sauce on the buns is incredible!
Everyone knows the taste of old Hangzhou. The boss is also very nice and has many good friends. I like it . It should be said that it is very comfortable to eat the taste of Hangzhou in the old address abroad.
Very delicious! Thin skin, lots of stuffing, affordable price, highly recommended~
Highly recommend the new Qianlong wontons and green onion buns! Madam, it smells so good! ! !
The boss is so nice, he gave me a drink
The front desk told me that 6 wontons can fill me up, and 6 wontons cost 9 dollars. I really laughed. It s so unreasonable. Everyone in Shanghai knows that wontons are never sold at a minimum of 6. If you put them in Shanghai, they are medium-sized wontons. On the takeout platform There are only 6 pieces, and the price is outrageous. I was told that you can be full with 6 pieces, which means you will have a big appetite if you eat more than 6 pieces. It s so fucking bad. The mung bean soup at the back is only half a bowl for 5 dollars, so it s a waste. Beggar, right? Im really sorry. I dont know how I got so many good reviews.
The wontons are really delicious, they are big and filling, and the egg yolk flavor is so amazing that I highly recommend them!
Since we cant dine in now, we ordered the pan-fried and scallion bun stew from this restaurant. The service was very good, the quality is very fresh, and I like the taste. As an authentic Shanghainese, the pan-fried pan-fried food tastes better than Shanghai Xiaoyang, so it is worth recommending!
Super delicious, the most authentic I have ever tasted! Highly recommended
The scallion oil noodles were too salty (it felt unauthentic), but the wonton stew was pretty good. I can only give 3 stars.
The taste of Pianerchuan is really great, the soup is very fresh and the noodles have a great texture. You probably won t find another egg yolk pan-fried restaurant in Toronto, so egg yolk lovers really have to check it out. I read in Xiaohongshu that this restaurant is not delicious, but as a person born in Shanghai, I really think it tastes good. I didn t take a photo of the salty soy milk, but it tasted very sweet, so I was very satisfied.
Both the male and female shopkeepers have a bad attitude. There is so much mayonnaise and ketchup on the hand cakes. Are you sure you can make them? The buns were small and expensive, and the soup tasted terrible. It was just two slices of green vegetables diluted with braised beef shank seasoning soup. I would like to respond to the shop owner here. A fat man and a lady with long hair shawl are often serving in your shop, and I have seen them walking together under the green building. Most people can easily understand it as a mom-and-pop shop. Since you said I was talking nonsense about the bad service attitude, I will restore the situation to you. I ordered twelve pure meat buns, but the waitress told me that there were only four left, and asked me to order eight more with shrimp or egg yolk. but! The customer behind me ordered meat buns and you still had them. I also specifically confirmed that there was indeed something left in the big round pan, and it was not sold to someone else for another pot. It seems to me that you did not prepare the quantity of each type of buns well. There werent many meat buns left at that time, and you wanted to sell them to more people, so you asked people like me who order a lot of meat buns at one time to mix them with other flavors. How many stars do you expect me to give you for your behavior of deceiving customers? And the womans attitude was so bad that she didnt want to buy it. You said your soup is beef bone soup. Who has never had beef bone soup? Your beef tendon and vermicelli soup is brown and transparent, and the taste is all based on soy sauce. It is not as thick or milky as beef bone soup. If this is all cooked with beef bones, then your cooking skills are really amazing. I gave several stores negative reviews within an hour but I also gave several stores good reviews. Giving negative reviews can only mean that there is something wrong with what you did, and it has nothing to do with how often I give my reviews. As for the price and quality issues, you are not the only one selling pancakes in Toronto, and customers will also shop around. After that bad experience, I will certainly not come again.
The bun is very juicy! It is made fresh , when it is delivered, it is still hot. Love it ! I ordered mix of 3 flavors, impressed! Highly recommend. Free desert is good too!
The super delicious pan-fried buns, especially the ones with salted egg yolk or the ones with prawns, are very big , and my favorite hand pancakes, they are fragrant and have a lot of sauce, which is super nice! I often eat mahjong mixed with family portrait wontons and it s so fragrant It s a must!
I drove 20km just to eat a cage. It was really satisfying.
Ive always complained about not being able to find good in Toronto, one of my favorite foods from when i lived in China. I was excited when I heard about this other place had opened up at Yonge&Finch, but was ultimately disappointed. I stumbled on this place today and was instantly taken back to , my fav spot in Shanghai. I was not disappointed...
so delicious! the best fried bun i have ever tried in GTA....CANT WAIT TO HAVE THEM NEXT TIME
The filling of bun tastes yummy so full of juice, and the bun skin is just right too, very comforting. Overall the best fried bun Ive ever had in GTA. Worth a try!
Fried egg yolk is a lifetime recommendation! ! It s so delicious! Full of soup mixed with egg yolk and delicious flavor, and the bottom is super crispy! ! A must order for breakfast! But my favorite is hand pancakes haha, I can eat them for a week! Be sure to order the supreme one! The pancakes are both glutinous and crispy, and the store is very considerate and provides gloves~~ Recently, the boss made sweet mung bean paste, which is very refreshing!
If you want authentic asian friend buns. These guys are so bomb. *Warning* piping hot, so let it cool first
The buns are too salty and not juicy enough. And their bottoms are very hard to chew.
<expand this review and I will explain why this is not worthy to try> Not as good as the authentic one, but still delicious. However, considering the price, I won t visit again. Skin: thick like load-bearing wall, not crispy Filling: relatively small because of the thick skin Juicy? No, the authentic one uses pork skin jelly but this restaurant uses cheap unknown products which have a strange taste There are lots of minor differences but foreigners won t see it. I tried the most expensive bun in the toronto and was curious why lots of accounts with only 1-3 reviews rate this place a five star Edit: I highly doubt u have promotions about rating five stars on google map to get discount or sth like that...... the owner explained that price is high because of hand making, your hand making won t change sand into gold, and the original ingredients are not good enough, tons of cook in Toronto have better skills than you dude Edit2: Be realistic and check your poor score on SkipTheDishes/yelp/zomato I am so surprised that you are not conscious about your food quality Other competitors don t need to hire bots, ask yourself who you can compete with? Your food and skills will lead you to the end It seems like cheating foreigners can give you lots of confidence Your replies are pretty straight forward, so I will reply you in a straight forward way: This is the worst bun I have ever had. Cannot compare to any restaurant in Toronto. Your skills are not adequate if you runs your restaurant in China, cooking in foreign countries is the only way you can earn money. If google deletes my review, I will make a website for you. I guarantee that website will be on the first page of google search results.
Very delicious
Taste service Price: One of the must try place,
Pan-fried egg yolk is my favorite. I have to buy it every time I come back to Toronto.
The new noodles are delicious
The price on delievry App is much higher than the store price. Even its pricy, the store is still cash only. The fried bun filling is not authentic either. Some spice is added, which makes the filling not like fried buns at all. Its more like Northern China flavor but not Shanghai snack. Get fried bun from the store: Sang Ji, that tastes more authentic.
Super delicious!
I feel sorry for myself if I don t eat.
Not delicious at all compared to other places. Won t come back again. Service is OK though. But no water offered.
Let me blow it up. Very delicious
This is my first time commenting on Google map. I really want to dedicate it to my long-loved fried buns. I am already a regular customer of this store loyal fan My favorite is the signature fried beef tendon and vermicelli soup. This store is the best among other restaurants. The difference is the taste of the meat. Their meat is not fishy. It bursts with juice when you bite it. It is a must for every steamed bun. The large pieces of meat in the beef tendon and vermicelli soup are real. The meat is tender and delicious. It is really delicious when paired with chili oil and vinegar. It s a delicacy in the world After finishing the meal, I want to have some dessert One-stop service. Their ice powder mung bean paste is also my favorite! ! ! It totally reminds me of my childhood. Recently, the boss has launched a new coconut milk Black glutinous rice with moderate sweetness, which is the favorite of many girls. It has attracted a lot of fans since it was first released. His service attitude is really good and the lady boss is super enthusiastic Every Every time I go there, I always smile The service boss pays more attention to details and is very good at doing business. Every time I go to eat and encounter this kind of service attitude, it is really worth giving a five-star review.
Eat it often, it s great
One of the best and most authentic pan-fried buns in Toronto. The owner is super nice and a figurine enthusiast~ Highly recommended
The stir-fried chicken with coconut milk and black glutinous rice is delicious. I bought it for a long time and it was out of stock. I finally bought it today. It s not sweet but not bland. It s the right taste. I love it
The service attitude is very good. The Chaos and Pan-fried buns are delicious. The texture of the beef noodles is really like steel bars. I don t want to say anything else.
