Great place for a quick lunch or take aways. Variety of Chinese cuisine.

Today, my colleague from Hong Kong took me to this restaurant for lunch. I ordered a fried beef river and shrimp fried rice. The beef river beef is tender and crispy with the bean sprouts, which is very delicious. The shrimps in the shrimp fried rice are rich, tender and delicious. , the price is affordable, and the boss is very fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin and is very nice. No wonder the business is so good. Parking: No place to park

This was the only place in this stretch that had a dish for vegetarian! The rice and tofu was yumm! The staff taking the order was so friendly to show me the right option and the chef prepared the dish with a smile in his face! Lovely place to dine in!!! Thank you!

Food quality is what you would expect from a restaurant with this name. Traditional chinese rice and noodle dishes available and a very reasonable price. Had to wait 20 minutes for my takeout meal as only one cook was available during lunch hour.

A great inexpensive place for a quick fix. In an area filled with Korean restaurants, it is great to see a Chinese fast food canteen style place with good selection and fast service.

The taste here is close to that of an old-style tea restaurant in Hong Kong. There is more cooking oil, but the seasoning is OK. Although the food and drinks are cooked to order, it would be better if they could be served hotter.

It is horrible $16 for a very small portion took a long time to make and overall was very upsetting would never go there again and will not recommend. The place was not clean either.

Good priced food for what you get! The lady who works there is always very nice. I usually order the fried rice noodle with beef, and it literally tastes the same as other places but at a good price (my suggestion though would be to ask for more sauce in this dish). This place is more like a grab n go spot would not take a date here but love eating here alone or when I need a quick bite!

This place serves a variety of dishes similar to a food court with a number of vendors inside. Much of the food were made fresh on order and there was a wide variety of items from rice dishes, noodle bowls and bento boxes. There were some items that were no longer available such as the rice noodle rolls. Many of the items are Cantonese and Taiwanese style dishes, with some Szechuan and Malaysian dishes. Portion sizes were decent, however there was a large selection to choose from. Main items they are known for are the fried rice and wonton noodle items.

Hidden gem on north york. Nice place for a quick eat or snack. Not as fancy looking as other restaurants on yonge but super tasty.

Been there many many times since the name was initially called Mega years ago, and just out of curiosity to check out its google reviews, Im glad that most people like it after their visits. The food is so good although the facade of the restaurant is below mediocre lol.

Service/food quality has gone down a lot these last few years. Called many times but keep getting hung up on.

Their shrimp wonton soup is always the best. There are a lot of varieties and choices. The prices are very reasonable and the tastes are very good. It is a hidden gem on yonge and finch area.

Tried 2 items: 1) salted fish & chicken fried rice & 2) fried rice noodle with beef and egg. Both were quite good. Went for takeout during non-peak hour and service was very quick. Will definitely go back again. Considering the lack of establishments offering Cantonese food in the neighbourhood, its great that this place is around. Plenty of seats. However, dining in might not be very comfortable as the place is quite hot.

I m kinda surprise to find this gem nearby Finch station. They provide a big variety of chinese foods from dumpling, noodles to chinese style bento which we love to try in our visit next time. We tried the Fried Vermicelli Beef & Lao Gan Ma Fried Rice with Beef. All of them are delicious, with sooo tender beef Such a big flavour for a simple dish. However the lao gan ma fried rice is not that spicy. We also order their Hongkong style Lemon Tea but lesson learned, that we should not asked for less sugar.

I like the authentic taste of my hometown This store is a canteen for Hong Kong people, and most of the employees can speak Cantonese. The food is affordable and the portions are large! I get a lot of beef every time, thank you boss I order takeout every time, and the meals are all freshly made, very wok-like, and the ingredients are good. It is recommended that Hong Kong people here often help!

Quickly prepared Chinese food that doesnt pretend to be something its not. If youre here for a quick bite theres lots of choices. Its better than some other take out places and sitdown restaurants like Congee Queen. Lots of options and the staff are always nice. Ive been here multiple times and ordered for catering as well. The portions are large, well worth the price and Ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes for food. Recently came for the / beef rice noodles and it satisfied my craving. You wont go wrong with their crispy fried chicken, bento sets or wok-fried noodles. Will be back again.

I visited this place consistently with my company as we worked at Yonge and Finch. i have since moved downtown but was just there yesterday. Always yummy and friend, amazing family business. Foods ok. Got the chicken nugget Bento, the chicken was fried really nicely and the seasoning was pretty good. Not a fan of broccoli as a side dish tbh, can be a bit more creative than just boiled broccoli and a smidge of hoisin sauce. Would go back as the menu does look pretty interesting (especially their fried rice)

Rarely offered authentic Cantonese food in Y/F area and their lunch special is cheap with cold HK Lemon tea. Must try if you live in the area!

Very underrated place in the Yonge and finch area. They have reasonable prices and very homey Hong Kong Cafe style food. I got the fried pork chop and the pickled pork belly. Both were solid dishes. The pork belly was especially tender and flavourful. Definitely recommend!

I first visited this place about a year ago and have been there about once a week since. There are a lot of good Korean restaurants in the area but not much Chinese. This place is very cozy, the food is amazing, and I have yet to be disappointed after trying about a quarter of the very extensive menu. The Taiwanese fried chicken, black bean noodle dishes and Lao Gan Ma fried rice dishes are among my favourites. Friendly staff and quick service!

Delicious food. Wontons are huge, with actual whole shrimps you can see. Very fresh. Their Hong Kong style teas are true HK style, they use this in their boba teas too! Their stir fried dishes are high end restaurant quality, and actually better than some Chinese restaurants that charge $18-20 for the dish, all for $12! Very good wok hay (wok breath )

Giant wontons were yummy. Lady behind counter was friendly and greeted us and offered assistance and suggestions. Theres parking and table/chair in front. One business with multiple menu options, that peaked interest but was met with disappointment. Only 3 stars because theres nothing special. The beef in the noodle soup and lo mein were stir fried. portions were small. Very little meat given. Few beef slices were grisly and inedible. The beef brisket had no meat, just tough inedible tendons. The vegetables were not washed well, leaving soil in bottom of soup. Maybe we just didnt order the items that were special... too many choices offered.

Im actually obsessed with the ma po tofu here... it reminds me of the one i used to get in waterloo :) I always come back here for it

If you want to get good authentic Chinese food made with love for cheap, this is the place to go without question. I personally really like their kungpao chicken and black bean sauce beef, served with rice.

Hong Kong-style fast food restaurant with a wide variety of menus and good taste.

I have ordered from Yonge Street Fried Rice about 4 times now. Their food is incredible. The price you pay for the quantity and quality of food is amazing. You get big chunks of meat and tons of shrimp. Ive never seen this before. I cant believe there arent more reviews and photos of this restaurant. This photo is the schezuan young chow fried rice. Its pretty spicy so if you cant handle spice, go for the soya sauce ones. Those are great too! I havent tried the others yet but I will!

They have a quite big menu with large variety of choices. Ordered a bento box with ginger and onion beef for lunch. Beef was pan-fried on order and it tasted really good. Rice is also great quality. Only minor issue the corns are a bit cold. Price is comparable to the restaurants nearby, and most meals costs between $10-$13. Still a great place to go for some decent Cantonese style food.

Visited here twice. The first visit was okay. However, the second time I visited, I waited for at least 20min to get my spicy salmon burrito, which kind of defeats the purpose of its fast-food style service. Besides the service speed, what made me decide to leave a 3-star is the burrito itself - spicy salmon burrito but not spicy at all.. My tolerance to spiciness is not so high that I could not taste the minor spiciness in the food. I am pretty sure I had a spicy salmon burrito without spicy sauce in it. Also the salmon was not super fresh, so overall the burrito didnt taste that good.

The food is great! For the price you get a lot of it too, which is a plus. The owner is absolutely amazing and hes super nice! The staff is friendly, especially the lady who takes the orders. I would definitely recommend

Fried Taiwanese style chicken had a funky taste. You canget better sushi burrito elsewhere. This is a 2-3 star quality place but good service is their redeeming quality.

Satisfying food, free fountain drink and no need to pay tips! Spacious arrangement of tables and extremely friendly staff. I like this feeling of freedom, but remember, there is no menu booklet, you can only order at front desk.

The owner and staff so courteous and friendly. Cool shop -- 4 diff mini restaurants in one Rice rolls reminded me of the street foods in china. They were steamed on a metal plate then scraped off. Chewy and tasty with the meat filling. Delicious! One order of rice rolls is very filling. Pretty much a box. Great value for $5.

Good varieties of Asian food. They have at least 5 Asian food vendor under the same roof. However, each vendor is manage separately and it appears that each vendor cash their own food but share the same cooking hardware. There is a Sushi Burrito inside but this one usually close early sometimes around 5 pm but the other vendor stays opened quite late

Its the kind of place where you can easily walk by thinking it is just one restaurant... Actually its not! Its 4 different eateries rolled into one. Lots of options that make it difficult to choose what to order . We reached here around closing timeand Tried the schezuan spicy fried chicken & schezuan vermicelli noodles. Both were very good... Quality and quantity- wise. More than enough leftover for two people.. The wonton and noodle soups are usually sold out. Next time will try that along with the teas & desserts eatery.. The service was good and people were friendly... Definitely needs another visit and i know it will be worth it!

We tried the pork and egg rice roll, wonton in noodle soup, and Taiwanese fried chicken. The wontons were large with lots of filling, and the chicken was juicy and tasty. The rice roll was good too- may try a different one next time though. We will definitely return to try a few more things.

Large portions for a reasonable price. The wonton noodle soup has very large wontons and they are full of meat. The large fried chicken comes with 5 chicken cutlets (a whole plate of meat) but no sides, so you may want to order something else with it. Dont expect fancy here. Its a bit of a weird place that has 4 restaurants combined, so it feels like a food court but its set up like a restaurant with only one cashier. This place does not stand out when you walk by on Yonge, so you have to keep an eye out for it.

Fried rice is really good. You will see this place in Uber Eats as Young Street Fried Rice Hut. For some reason they use a different name in there. Nevertheless, really tasty fried rice.

Far from an ordinary Chinese food complex, this place is one of the few gems in the city that is accessible and consistently delivers no matter what time of day. We are always impressed by the super fresh food, outstanding service from the owner who always greets us with a smile every time we come in, and the portion of food you get for the price. Unbeatable and never disappoints. The kitchen is open and you can literally watch your food being prepared in front of you. This is unlike most Chinese fast food in mall food courts or even in most restaurants, this isnt the norm for most typical Chinese places. Theyre also clean and spacious enough that you never feel crowded or rushed to finish unlike certain restaurants where you feel like youre being watched by the staff and they are rushing you to finish your meal. Its hard to believe that pretty much every item weve had from the soup, rice dishes, fried noodles and the signature fried chicken were all exceptionally good. Theyre a low-key and hidden spot right in the heart of Yonge and Finch that I will continue to recommend to all my friends if they want quality food for quality price. This place will always be at the top for best eats in North York area (and arguably in the GTA) at least in my mind.

Nothing wrong with the place. Im not a picky eater. But I struggled to finish my food. Plain rice, little corn, little pineapple, and some carrot slices. I can ignore all of this if the chicken was half decent. The chicken under cooked, full of oil . It was just all unpleasant meal. But very good fast service and good price. Id not eat there again.

This place is so good. It is the bees knees. The fried snacks they have is amazing. The wonton shrimp dumpling is massive and delicious. They nailed the taste of authentic Chinese food. I paid less than ten dollars, and I came out feeling satiated and satisfied.

Been here a few times and the place has yet to disappoint. Definitely worth checking out (Shrimp Wonton is my go to those cold / sick days)

I will never get enough of this place. I am always down for their shrimp wonton, so much bigger than you expect and delicious. Being right by finch station makes it a super convenient stop off for a meal without breaking my bank.

The Cantonese noodle is legit, not the best in Toronto but good enough to consider a specialized Cantonese noodle place. The Taiwanese fried chicken is good, unfortunately Id say that just 150m south is a way better Taiwanese chicken place. Its a Chinese food court type feel so not bad in that regard. Im not a fan of the sushi burrito concept in general so my opinion on those are useless. Ditto for crepes and bubble team. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone in the neighbourhood.

The mega is really deceiving. Theres only a handful of stalls. Service was very good though its self serve. Had 3 items. Rice noodle, wanton noodle and bento. Rice noodle was a total flop. Wanton noodle, the lo mein was a so so but the wanton was 4 stars worthy. But be warn that some other reviews did mentioned a lack of consistency in quality. The bento was definitely worthy quantity wise. In terms of quality its a 3 star. So if you are unsure I believe, in line with some of the other reviews, go with the bento and wanton.

Interesting concept. Sort of cafeteria style restaurant but the same company. Quite a few options but pricey for what it is. Specialty seems to be fried chicken with various sauces on it. I had the spicy salmon poke bowl but it was way too much mayonnaise and very little spice.

I saw their featured instagram story on blogTO and thought I would check this place out. This place literally has something to satisfy all of the cravings that I get. Its a great addition to this neighbourhood as it has such a grand variety of things. I tried their pork rice noodle rolls and their shrimp noodle wonton soup- they were both absolutely delicious. They have bubble tea, taiwanese fried chicken, japanese crepes that look literally mouth watering, bubble tea and literally so much more. They have poke bowls and sushi burritos where you can choose what toppings you want!!! Ill definitely be back for more.

awesome little food court! My fav so far is the wonton soup place, they have some of the best wontons Ive had in Toronto, filled with jumbo shrimp and pork, it felt like a shrimp siumai. The fried chicken place gives HUGE portions, the rice noodle place is great but needs to be eaten right away, dont recommend takeout, and the bubbletea place has a nice selection of tea bases. Overall a solid place, and not expensive either.

Great variety and choices. Tried the mango frap - was decent. It had fake mango chunks and very orangey mango icecream on top. Awesome that they have one choice of topping included. The drink was very cheap ($4.50 small, $4.99 large). Also tried the rice roll - made fresh to order. Love the concept of this place. It houses 4 types of food all under one roof.

Fast service, generous portions for the price which is great value, and friendly staff. Theres so much variety that you can definitely find something for everyone here! Also modern, clean, and pretty spacious seating was nice. Will definitely return!

I got the original Taiwanese style fried chicken for $9.99. Its decently dried with light batter and not much clumping. The seasoning is a bit on the heavier end for my liking, but overall tasty.

I tried to walk past this place without stopping in, but my curiosity got the better of me, and Im so glad I decided to check this place out. So far Ive only tried the beef rice roll, and it tasted great. The rice roll and beef had the perfect texture, and the flavor was perfectly balanced. Adding the chili oil gave it a great kick. I will definitely be back to check out the other food available here.

I came here because I saw it on BlogTO. I am disappointed. I gave it 2 stars because the staff was very welcoming and there are 4-5 restaurants in 1. But the food was not the greatest. I ordered the spicy salmon poke bowl, my husband had the fried chicken bento box. It was the worst poke bowl I ever had. The sauce tasted like thousand island dressing with hot sauce. The bento box was ok. They give you a lot of chicken with bone in, a little rice and veggies. Gave my husband heartburn. I noticed most people there had soup, that might be better. I will not be returning.
