The arepas are very good but they break because they dont put the plastic right, they have to be round, thats why they break. I made many arepas for 15 years, they never broke, Im talking about the package of 10

Placed an order for pick up on October 4th, 2024. We ordered two dishes. One was a mixed plate, offering: grilled chicken, beef, sausages, blood sausages and new potatoes. To our total disappointment, the food was unappetizingly salty and oily. My wifes daughters were unable to eat any of it. The beef looked tender, but was actually tough and veiny. The new potatoes were not roasted, they were deep fried... My recommendation to this restaurant would be to use sirloin, rather than cheap cuts of meat, which will just end up inedible. This unfortunately is the trend lately with a large majority of restaurants; they offer low quality food, slathered in salt, at a very expensive price point. La Costañita charged us $92.00 for two dishes, can you believe it? The lesson here is to never order from them again. Heed my warning, youre better off making food at home.

Very bad customer service We came to buy to take out food, paid more than a $100 and we have to wait for the food to be ready the waitress said we can wait seated so we took a seat and all of the sudden the waiters came and asked us to leave outside because we can not wait inside and be seated while waiting so my husband asked that if somebody else came and buy food have to wait outside as well? and she just looked at him and said nothing. He was very upset and this is the last time we came to buy something at this restaurant. Very rude the other waitress just looked at us and not said anything very bad experience

The food never misses! It s my comfort food for sure. I ve always gotten take out or delivery and the food is still warm and absolutely delicious.

Ordered Colombian empanadas thru uber eats delicious!! Soup, beef rib, was authentic. Best friend is Ecuadorian have tried many of these foods and love it. Will order again. Just forgot to add side of white rice in my order

Friendly and fast service the food was authentic tasting and delicious would recommend for Colombian food.

It was my first time trying out Colombian food, and I must say, I was super impressed. Spiced moderately, a balanced diet (vegetables, carbs, and protein), they also have vegetarian options in their menu. Customer service was superb. We were offered complimentary sides to try out. I strongly recommend and will definitely visit again.

a bad meal and they sent me what was not, If I wanted to eat a pork bone it would work, but they published it as a chop, Hi and I ordered 4 empanadas of one type and they sent me one of each.

Worst service, disrespectful staff

Service wasn t good. Nobody checked up on us the girl didn t even come back out after the food was brought to us to ask if everything was good. The beans were cold and the meat was pretty raw on my daughters plate. Honestly quite unhappy.

Over priced. The menu they have posted here in maps must be old, all dishes are around 5 dollars more expensive than shown. Example I had churrasco but in the place the menu said 25, here in maps it says 20. My food was over cooked and took around 20 mins of wait. They didn t have the place full or dispatching online orders as I didn t see any deliverer coming in, so not really clear why it took so long. The food tastes good overall, but as I said the price is high for what you get.

Serving of Rice that came with soup was pretty dry, maybe on purpose since I guess you pour it into the soup? Soup is good. Bandeja took quite a while to come out. Tasted ok. We had to cancel a part of our order since it never came..more of a 3.5 star..if service was better than 4..

The food is good, they have a lot of great options and was able to find something vegan. The beans are ok. Be careful if you re dining in because the daily specials on the menu are only for takeout which it doesn t specify. You ll be surprised when you get your bill and they won t honour the special price for you.

Order from ubereats last night and I was absolutely blown away at how crispy the chicharron and yuca was upon arrival! Very impressive. Everything we ate was on point! Flavours were great, substantial portions. Extremely satisfied. Keep up the fantastic work!!

I m not from the area, we came to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Unfortunately the Colombian restaurant were we always go had the patio close, and we came with our baby dogs we choose this restaurant because We thought was the best choice in our situation The menu look like a fast place Colombian place, the majority of the food is frite! Not salads, not soups I never recommend this place to have a celebration The only good was my Mexican server, very nice and polite girl!!!

Food at this place is great. If you re looking for real/homemade Colombian food, this is the place. It is a little bit pricy, however the portions ate good for the price. I usually get the soups, hands down the best soups in the area. Keep in mind that is a small place, maybe 6 tables in total. I usually go on the weekends around 2PM and always find seat. 100% recommended.

My go-to Colombian restaurant! Food is always fresh and delicious! They do get busy so sometimes it s a bit of a wait for the food, but it s worth it! Their sopa de cola is my fave!!! And the empanadas are perfection along with their original hot sauce.

We drove from super far away to enjoy Colombian food at La costita. When we arrived they were alone but even that was not enough to offer good service, they left us waiting for a long time, after placing the order almost an hour later they told us that there was no dish we ordered. That can happen, but the fact that they left us waiting for an hour to tell us that was quite disappointing. Too bad, we order a lot of delivery here but in person the place, the food and above all the attention left us much to be desired.

I have always bought here through Uber and in the store, for a while now when I order through Uber something is always needed, usually it is always the chorizo... and they cover it with one more slice of banana I mean please its not like they are worth the same This is the sixth time Ive ordered something and yet again it seems to me that they are not being very honest, and there is not even any discount. Quite apart from the delay in preparing the food and it is not very cheap either. In the end I think they have lost one more client.

I love their empanadas and my son loves their soups. Honestly this is 1 of the best colombian restaurants. Bandeja Paisa is to die for!

The sancocho was very good. The egg arepa has a strange flavor at the end, perhaps because of the oil they use, otherwise it would be a 10.

Ordered empanadas here twice- the first time, I ordered empanada de carne and empanada de queso. It was pretty good then they used a different wrap for the empanada de queso. The 2nd time I placed a bigger order of both kinds and it tasted stale like it was sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Was very disappointed because I paid extra to have it delivered to my office. I m now iffy about placing future orders because of the inconsistency.

Food was amazing! Visiting from out of town and it was a highlight the delicious meals we were served.It is not our first time eating there but every visit has been on point with how fresh and good the plates have been.thank u.

We went to see Plaza Latina but they didnt have buñuelos and recommended this place nearby. Food was excellent and service is great. They opened a little grocery store at the basement with a nice assortment of Latin items

English first I ordered Uber eats around 7 pm the place closes at eight my kids were hungry is a Friday and around 745 I get a message sorry we cannot make your order 45 minutes r u kidding me, Food here is not that great so obviously I will never order again after this in Spanish I ordered food at seven at night on a Friday for my children and at 7:45 he sent me a message that they couldnt make my order, 45 minutes waiting for nothing in my country in this country anywhere in the world that is not known does not do does not do

Had to wait an hour for a simple take out order. The prices are too high and the quality of service is very low. Save your money and especially your time.

I went with 3 people and we all ordered at the same time, our food was fresh but we waited over an hour to be served, our food came separately so we didn t get to eat as a group. The plantains we ordered were not ready. The salad didn t have any dressing. So I gave the restaurant another chance and went alone on my lunch break and they again took over 1 hour to serve me. Rice was not fresh and the meat was hard to chew. Some plates are worth it but it s not worth the wait. They need to hire more people.

Food here is delicious. Mom and daughter team hold down the fort. They make and sell their own bottled Aji. Perfect for empanadas. they got a small sit down patio, sell booze and you can drink in the patio. Also sell Cholados, a shaved ice w fruits n syrup dessert, perfect for this summer heat.

Been getting food from here for years now and it s some of the best Colombian food I ve had, the empanadas and bandeja is a must try from them. As it always comes out with a nice punch of flavours. Great place if you re every looking for Colombian food.

Ordered Ubereats and had the Chuleta Frita platter ( Fried pork rice,salad ,plantain) and the Carne Asada platter (rice ,beans,plantain salad) with a cheese empanada ( we wished we had ordered more than just the one). Absolutely on point taste, freshness and presentation! The meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The portions were plentiful and we will definitely be ordering again!! Sorry we were so eager to eat that we didn t take any photos ,next time. Muchas gracias to La Costenita chef.

The food was really good. We didnt dine in but the food was amazing. I ordered the steak with fried pork belly, white rice, beans, avocado, chorizo, plantains and fried egg. Everything was amazing, proportions are good enough to full an empty stomach. Just wish the fried egg was a little more runny besides that everything was good.

Ive waited more than an hour for my carne asada. My friend ordered the fried fish which came well after an hour and it was frozen solid still. We had to return it. Our patacones never came.

This is a great place for authentic Colombian food... they have their own hot sauce that goes great with the beef empanadas and for the kids they have cheese empanadas.... You also have to get a postobon pop either Manzana (apple)or Uva (grape)... first plate is a bandeja paisa traditional Colombian dish...

Place was decently priced and semi clean. The food flavor was extremely bland and just not there. Ive eaten at many many Colombian places and this one is NOT authentic. It looks like it is but it just doesnt taste like others that have very delicious plates. Not going back and I dont suggest it as a great place to eat.
