More than delicious, the customer service is so great ♥️
I went this weekend with a family relative and was surprised that the entrance this so-called restaurant is, is in a basement, so if you have a handicapped person you're going with or you are one, there is no way you're going to get in. The staircases also reek of urine. The restaurant is actually a bar, there are people who will be smoking and drinking, it's not a good place to go on a date or take the family to eat (in my case). I bought the bandera paisa (peasant's platter) and it cost $35 for a small portion of rice, beans, and salad. They were stingy with the tostones (a deep-fried plantain chip), they could've gave me two at least because the plate was expensive and I could've eaten at some other place and had leftovers as well. The chicharron (pork rind) was normal, I had better at other Colombian restaurants. The fried slice of beef and sweet plantains were good. The salad seemed stale and like it was done the day before. They overcharged for small juice drinks for 4 dollars each. The bad part was when I was eating some dude started blasting loud music and that was disrespectful because I wanted to enjoy my meal in peace and quiet. The bathrooms look like they're under construction and it was awkward to use them because of wood material and paint buckets left there. They don't take debit or credit card, everything is with cash. I was disappointed because I could've eaten way better at another place instead of being overcharged $35 dollars for a plate which wasn't worth that amount. My advice: Go somewhere else.
Don’t know what all the negative reviews are about. They served me some of the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. Truly delicious. The fried plantain was sweet and perfectly fried. I had a lovely exchange with the lady taking my order and my food was ready (to go) in about 15mins. I’ll be back!
Look at the pics below, they are $30 badeja paisa and $40 fried tilapia(no picture),and the staffs have disgusting attitude.if I visit any of my latino friend I would be treated x10,000 better. trust me.this place will make you repent that you spend your gas to drive to.you can thank me.
What a wonderful place the food is really amazing, I don't care about the price whe you taste the food you'll forget every simply delicious
Amazing food the Pacific of Colombia! Highly recommend the sancocho! The staff were friendly and I was able to get takeout. The food traveled well despite being a soup!
Exquisite soups, and typical Colombian seafood dishes. I have also tried the oxtail soup and it is delicious, they have different methods of payment and now luckily for many they are also on several food apps, I recommend viewing the menu through one of them and then just ordering via phone, I always do take out. Our home favorite is the cazuela de mariscos(seafood chowder) ...try it, it's even better than many I have tried when traveling to Colombia.
The best Colombian food ever, this ppl really make you feel the Colombian vibes. I love the bandeja paisa and la sopa de Mariscos
Delicious food. The pictures show Sancocho de Pescado and Cazuela de Mariscos. The chef/cook came over as well to talk to us and to make sure everything was good. Very nice guy! The atmosphere is different, but the food is so worth it. A hidden gem An exquisite flavor. In the photos: Fish Sancocho, and Seafood Casserole. Delicious. The cook came over to check that everything was okay. The atmosphere is different, it looks like a bar, but the food and the seasoning is what matters. Parking: Square
The menu is very good, and with a delicious flavor. I recommend it 100%. As it is a bar at night, the atmosphere is not so familiar, but it is very good and I found it clean and with good service.
The food is delicious, although since the dishes are prepared at the moment, they take too long, but the flavor is worth it. They should just improve the service
Delicious food and good service
Rich and abundant food
Very delicious food and very good service
Visit this Colombian restaurant on January 7, 2023, I do not recommend it, in my opinion it does not taste anything like Colombian food, it is an insult to Colombian gastronomy, the only good thing is the little music, the rest is bad the taste If they want to keep that business they should change cooks aaah and carry cash because they dont receive cards.
WAY OVER PRICED ! Ruining Colombian cuisine REPUTATION. THEY GIVE THEM NO PRIDE IN THE FOOD THEY SERVE.
Food was authentic. Atmosphere needs a bit of updating. Pricey.
Bad service, average food, dirty and messy. I do not recommend it
Typical original Colombian and Mexican flavor, excellent seafood casserole, delicious and large empanadas. Excellent atention.
The food is simply delicious.
There is no loss, if it comes to Colombian food, this is the place
You want tipical colombian food? You got it! Very generous portions. Excelente sazón
Excellent flavor and portions, we will definitely return
The best Colombian food
Very delicious food and very good atmosphere
Lovely Spanish experience
Best seafood in Toronto
Excellent service, delicious food, they need to improve the infrastructure.
What an awful experience they make me wait too long for a garbage food dry and small piece of meat dry and not crunchy patacones soup with no meat and vegetables plus salty they charge $ 80 bucks the cook making sour face to us DONT GO THERE place is really dirty
My good taste, really with the flavor of Colombian food, the place could be better but the food is spectacular. The portions of the dishes are very generous, worth the price. Happy to find this restaurant.
Food tasted good!!thw staff was great but the washroom wasnt clean and no toilet paper
what a sad representation of our country extremely dirty place the attitude of the employees really bad and very bad food not recommended at all
Delicious food
Very delicious food but, with so much money they earn, it would be good for them to at least put an air conditioner in the place, it is too hot inside that makes one run away.
Delicious Fish Sancocho...
Food was great, price was just a bit too high though.
I ate cazuela de mariscos and is one of the best Ive ever tried, the person who cooks made a great soup with delicious taste, full of sea food and Id eat it again! However, is a bit pricy and the restaurant seems dirty, looks more like a billiar place. I recommend some decorations and ilumination to make the place more comfortable for customers.
The food transported me to Colombia. The beef soup, the fried fish, everything is exquisite. The food is made by the owner, the seafood casuela is the star dish, the waitress was always with a smile, she was very pleasant and gave excellent service, I hope to return soon with my family and we all left very happy to enjoy such delicious food.
The price of a fried sea bass is $40, very expensive for a fish that is not fresh without seasoning and had nothing fried, a very poor quantity of salad for the price, I do not recommend this restaurant, the prices on this menu are too high for the quality of meal
This food is like home cooked every time. Never disappoints
Lets be honest, this is the best Colombian food in the GTA. Location is horrible thats why Ive always ordered take our, even pre Covid. Nonetheless their chef makes the tastiest soups and dishes.
What delicious food and the prices are very good.
It was a great experience I felt right at home
Delicious empanadas!
Delicious food. True Colombian Pacific cuisine.
Food is good, very poor service.....
In Colombia when the restaurant says Pacifico it is like a seal of rich flavor, so this restaurant is no exception, only that the flavor was transferred to Canada. You feel there like you are in a little piece of the peace. Very good attention.
Amazing Mexican and Colombian food !
In my opinion this restaurant does not deserve a single star, terrible service from both the cooks and the waitress, including the owner of the restaurant. I ordered a plate of roast pork and they brought me beef, which in fact I dont like beef. In addition, I asked the waitress if she could change the dish for pork and she told me that the cook said no because the beef dish had already come out. I asked to speak to the owner of the restaurant and he wasnt there. Thats not the only thing I asked for. two model beers and they never arrived, nor did they give us water, at the time of payment the waitress demanded the two beers that never arrived terrible everything in this place and the food was super expensive . I do not recommend it to anyone, this is my opinion of this place
Food was extremely greasy, salty and expensive!! The chorizo was undercooked and tasted like the regular one you buy at any grocery store. Frijoles were blah .i wouldn t come back or recommend this place.
Delicious
Great Colombian pacific food and very good service from the owners
Super delicious!!!!
excellent personalized attention
Good flavour!
Very tasty, good service, clean place, I highly recommend
Your time spent here with be sumptuous.
A rich flavor.
Food is so delicious
The truth is I used to order food there but with what I bought yesterday I will not recommend it again nor will I buy more there some ribs that looked like they had been made 3 days ago inedible dry hard a dish that did not even have a presentation hard rice and with telling you I gave a rib to my dog and he even vomited it so bad that he couldnt say it.
Good
Good place
Love the service and the life music
The flavor of their food is spectacular, it transports us to the flavor and seasoning of the Colombian Pacific. Excellent attention from its employees.
Very good customer service.
Very good
Delicious!! Excellent service!!! Too expensive
They dont have tortillas
good
Good
Good flavor, price was ok, a bit disorganized.
Delicious food
Yikes...
Never been there
Delicious everything they prepare...from 1 to 100....100+
Food is excellent!
Excellent, recommended for the whole family
Seafood Casserole, recommended.
About a month ago on a Sunday our family visited Toronto and we decided to stop at this place to eat Colombian food. . The music was great but the food was very disappointing and pricey. I ordered the catch of the day fried fish (pargo) $30.00 . To my disappointment it was not fresh at all. and tasted rubbery, it has been re-heated in the microwave. The patacones were also microwave. I love to eat green plantain/patacon and I know how it suppose to taste,. I asked the server/ owner to bring to our table a pitcher of water. He brough us warm water from the tab. When I got home I was very sick I will certailny never again will visit this establisment.
Good food. Clean place.
Home style food.
Great
I recommend the seafood casserole!
Good food but hard to communicate with staff if you dont speak Spanish. Its in a dingy basement with bright fluorescent lights and run down furniture. Accept cash only. Didnt have empanadas :( thought we heard an animal scratching in the ceiling...yikes.
A typical Colombian restaurant. Cash only they have an ATM inside. Unfortunately they don t have any vegetarian options.
No good
nice
Everything you eat here is delicious and made with the highest standards of quality and good taste...plus its delicious!! If you have never eaten Colombian cuisine and want to try....this is where you should come!!!
It has delicious food. Cooking very well.
Everything delicious, especially the soups and fish. 100% recommended
Good and abundant food. Friendly staff. The color of the walls is weird and the entrance is not the easiest to find. Good flavor and a lot of food for the price of the dish. The place is a bit confusing. Its a restaurant or a disco, thats the only thing I didnt like at all.
The best of Toronto
I likes
Great Colombian food...
Excellent flavor
Terrible, disastrous, unpleasant service: according to them, I ordered their highly recommended mixed plate, but it took them forever to serve it, two; The supposed soup was unpleasant but the bad thing did not end there, the dish comes accompanied by flavorless rice, not very fresh salad, lemons that have been in the refrigerator for several days but above all a pork, which was the worst, WHEN I TRIED BREAKING IT was very, very hard. The bad thing about this is that I made the observation to the waitress who is the daughter of the owner and she got upset by THE observation, the story does not end there, when the owner realized this he began to insult me indirectly. They ended up overcharging me. Anyway, I really DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, IF YOU ENTER IT WILL BE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Amazing food!!
Too expensive
The food is amazing. Not a fancy place be aware.
I tried this restaurant and for sea food is amazing. Just recommend not to try other plates. I tried bandeja paisa and I just was laughing about it. Chorizo was a regular Italian sausage. Barely chicharrón. Well they are good for fish. Place is not good looking. Well I think 3 stars is good until they improve the other dishes and atmosphere
I did nott enter the place, It is located in a basement and the stairs are too dirty
Highly recommended for anybody that want to eat authentic colombian food. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. This place will be having Salsa nights during the Holidays.
The food is good, the service is a disaster, while I was there the chef never worried if I needed something, I was watching television all the time, its a shame for the place that has little or nothing of a Colombian place in terms of decoration. Its a shame because the food is good but the service is really bad. I wont come back.
Excellent place to eat authentic colombian Pacific food ! great service
Excellent food and very good quality. The fish sancocho and the seafood casserole are the best.!!!
I walked in at 3 and its 4:50 pm and I still havent tried anything. A service disaster
It is one of the best restaurants in Toronto to eat typical dishes from the Colombian Pacific, especially seafood, the seasoning is very good, as well as the customer service.
They have the best seafood casuela that I have ever tried.
Excellent menu, service, food and prices. I really liked the food and the service.
Nice Colombian food
Amazing food. The service and was good too.
Terrible service, more than 35 minutes of waiting and the restaurant only had 5 tables occupied... the beans were damaged. The chicken sancocho was the only delicious thing. The prices do not go below 20 dollars and although it is in line with the quantity, it is extremely expensive for the quality!
The seafood casserole... Excellent!
Exellent Colombian food
Ok
Honestly the food is amazing, best casuela de mariscos I have ever had. The owner is a great person extremely friendly, however, their waiters are just so inexperienced the service ruins the experience. I would recommend having someone in charge of front line staff. Theres no point on trying to expand if the service isnt making costumes stay.
Excellent place to share, the people who serve are very friendly, their dishes are delicious and good prices :)
