Fantastic smoked meat, and amazing home made mustard. Wow super delish. I used to come here back when Wolfie was with 30 years ago. This is my first time back in over 15 years. Super delish!!

Ive been looking for a good quality deli since Katzs deli closed a few years ago. Terrific quality thinly cut pastrami. I asked for a very lean sandwich and I got just what I asked for. They have really good fries too.

Ive been curious about this place and Im really happy I decided to stop in. The waiter is wonderful, hes so friendly and funny. Everything was good, simple, just the way I like it.

Wow. I dont think ive had a better pastrami sandwich! Amazing flavor and texture. Not too greasy, and just enough meat. The only downside is that the price is kind of steep, at $13 a sandwich (and then $5.50 for the fries), but I think in terms of taste, you get what you pay for and then some more. The bread was SUPER SOFT and pillowy, and didnt fall apart while eating the sandwich. The fries were what mcdonalds fries wish to be!!! Super fluffy on the inside, and crispy on the outside, also not overwhelming with grease! The fries are a MUST GET when you come here!! Now for service, the man and lady working there (The owners, i guess) had great service and very friendly. The lady took great care in making and bringing the sandwich to where I was sitting and super nice too! The atmostphere was I think, a back in time portal from the 1990 s-2000 s! Super cozy and comfortable space to enjoy my sandwich. I really wish I took pictures to show you guys, but when I was eating the sandwich possessed me with how good it was lol.. Overall 5 stars across the board for me and gets a rating of 9.3/10. Only docked .7 because $21 for a sandwich with fries is a little steep with no drink. Other than that, I honestly couldnt of asked for more. Superb job guys!!

Dont trust the reviews on this place. Menu is very deceiving. There is a special that says any sandwich + coleslaw and fries for $20. I tried to order the Reuben sandwich but was told this wasnt part of the special...... If its not part of the special it should say so on the menu. So was told by the extremely rude waitress, that its not included. But she would find a way to charge it differently to accommodate. Upon checking out, there was no charging differently . I was charged full price for the sandwich / fries and coleslaw separately. Had I known that I would be charged separately for each item. I wouldve just got a different sandwich. The sandwich was good. But to be charged $26 for this said special was a bit ridiculous. Considering the original special was $20. Can guarantee I wont be returning

First time at Wolfies (May 7th) - ordered the smoked meat. Ive eaten my fair share of deli in my life and thought my sandwich was delicious. Rye bread pretty amazing also. Staff and atmosphere was great. Cant wait to come back.

Really good food and great atmosphere. My colleague and I got the corn beef sandwich combo. They give you a lot of meat and some really good sides for the price. A lot of Coca-Cola memorabilia on the walls and famous guests. I would definitely come back when I m in the area.

The sandwiches are very large, whatever youre picturing, bigger than that. Parking: Parking is a couple dozen spots, but quite a busy plaza around lunch so be prepared to stop at the next lot over. You will find parking within a one minute walk. Food : 5/5 |

While the sandwich might have been good, it certainly wasnt worth the $20 price tag. The meat seemed to be straight from a Deli company, making it feel like something I could have made at home, and the coleslaw had a sour taste. Additionally, there was an uncomfortable argument between the owner and another employee, possibly their wife, which detracted from the overall experience. To make matters even worse, they had a picture of Doug Ford on their wall...

Came here at lunch because we were feeling a nice sandwich. My goodness, I wished I found this place sooner !! Got the smoked meat sandwich & my friend got the corned beef sandwich. Both are delicious and crazy good. The fries were very similar to McDs, but soooo goood !! And the potato salad was very tasty as well Will definitely be back, thanks guys !!

Yesterday was the first time I ordered from Wolfies and it was online. I ordered corn beef sandwich, kishka and knish. Since there was no choice of knish I ordered potato. Sammy called about the order and said there is only beef which I said was fine. I also asked him about my lean corn beef and he said it would be a bit dry and to order the next one down which I did. I also asked him if I could get my corn beef sliced thin and he said he will do it anyway I liked. I also asked for mustard on it. When I got the food the kishka was delicious and the corn beef was exactly the way I asked for it and I thoroughly enjoyed it that I had to call and tell him. Will have no problem ordering from them again.

I was there for lunch yesterday. The smoked meat sandwich was amazing. I will go there again soon. Also, I really liked the equipment there.

Fresh, tender and moist corned beef, and they are not stingy with the meat, at all. Excellent sandwich, friendly staff, was quite busy in there too which is a good sign. Keep up the good work.

Delicious Deli sandwich. Makes it very good all the time. I think the pop should sell for 1.50 instead of $2.00 but anyway, the owner and the other employees are always nice and polite and thats it.

This sandwich is a total homerun. Had the smoked meat sandwich with hot mustard. Its got a mountain of warm meat between rye bread. Nothing else need be said. Just go devour one of these and see for yourself how good it is.

Havent been there in a couple of years but it is always, and I mean always great. A 2 handed corned beef sandwich that will fill you for hours afterwards. Miss going there for lunch when I worked out that way. A good reason to go for a drive from Scarberia!! Love it!!

Excellent sandwiches with personal service! We were looking for an authentic Toronto Deli experience and we found it. We tried the corned beef sandwich and Montreal smoked meat. The restaurant is an unassuming spot in a strip mall, but the family run atmosphere made us feel right at home. We appreciated the personal service from the owners and tried the home-made spicy mustard and local kosher dill pickles at their suggestion - and glad we did. We bought a jar of Putters pickles to take home, along with extra deli meat. We will be back!

Very small eclectic deli with tons of coca cola advertising inside. I go for the montreal smoke meat and a potato latka. I believe its the best smoke meat you can get in the toronto area. And I am from montreal, So I know my smoke meat.

Easily the best deli in the city. I havent been to Wolfies in awhile since I moved away from the area. Stopped by and Im happy to report its just as good as its always been. A neighbourhood staple for decades, they serve all kinds of deli. My favourites have always been the corned beef (perfect level of tangy saltiness) and smoked meat (Montreal level delicious). On the side, I love the huge pickles and chunky potato salad. The secret star of all though is the spicy mustard - put that on anything and it becomes a ten times tastier!

Not very clean the people working there were touching everything in the place and then handled the food with bear hands menus were dirty as hell dirty fingerprints all over them this is not clean place i wouldnt eat there even if you hired robots in your case animals wouldnt even eat there disgusting place

As far as Im concerned Wolfies is the best Deli in Toronto. Sam and family are always funny, and kind and hard working. The restaurant is so fun with amazing pictures and coke memorabilia all over. It is an experience. Now I hate saying this, I hate talking about prices, but Im finding Im not going up there as much as I used too. You guys have got to slow down on the hikes... and Sam please dont go down the CC transaction fee road, YOU ARE WAY BETTER THAN THAT!

No nonsense deli. Huge portions, extra bread, the best potato salad. Ive been coming here since I was a kid and not much has changed. If you like coke cola, the place is decorated with more coke memorabilia than you can imagine.

Just tried this place for the first time last week I walked in and was greeted by friendly customers finishing their own meals and getting up to leave the restaurant I was quickly and promptly greeted by a knowledgeable friendly staff member. I ordered Pastrami on rye with mustard and 2 pickles cut up and a bottle Cane sugar Barqs. I tried other Deli places in Toronto and this place doesnt disappoint in the slightest. Gave me a free sample of a random sausage on a stick didnt ask just appreciated the generosity. The other customers after me telling them it was my first time told me I would be back and they love the place. The worker also told me that I would be back and they were right. I will definitely be back I was recommended two other sandwiches by the nice staff member his personal favourite the Montreal Smoked Meat and told me about their Reuben. The Pastrami was generously portioned and the bread was fresh. Pickles tasted homemade honestly delicious. I ordered to go but would have loved to stay and eat next time I go. Thank you for the great meal I loved it.

I just moved from Montreal, looking for a good smoked meat sandwich. Red flags right off the bat using a slicer machine instead of carving by hand. Meat not fresh, its from a deli company. Fries tasted like they were microwaved. Coleslaw from a deli company. Bread taken out of the freezer. Nothing fresh. If you dont know what authentic MTL smoked meat is, this can pass. Its definitely not the real deal. It passes for TO smoked meat but theres a reason thats not a thing. I wont be back. Id rather travel 6 hours to MTL to get a sandwich than drive down the 404 for this.

I have been going to Wolfies since 1976. Unfortunately I live too far away now to make it a weekly visit but I go out of my way to grab a lunch whenever I am in the city. The deli sandwiches are too good to describe. The staff are always fun and polite. The food is better than 5 stars. If you stop in I cant imagine not feeling like you just had the.best deli lunch ever.

Just look at this thing. Went there on my lunch time and every thing was above excellent. The vibe is even tastier than the food. This place stuck in their own time. U dont want to be in your phone every corner has something that makes u feel nostalgic. The food was one of the best Ive ever had. We got delivery so we didnt get the full Deli experience. My husband said his Corned beef was oooookaaay. I got the turkey, just a bunch of turkey on very thin doubled up bread. Nothing came on them and there wernt any options really that we saw. Sandwiches are definitely not worth $16, smaller than my hand. Fries were plain ol shoestring. Unfortunately, well cross this one off the list.

Super nice dudes at this joint. Always tasty and fresh. Meat is super fresh and the matzah ball soup reminds me of growing up if you like them more soft then dense.

Always a favourite... prices have gone crazy during COVID. $25 wolf size sandwich makes this a special occasion lunch place but still worth it.

Definitely not a place to go out of your way to find. Lots of meat but very plainly served on not one, but two, slices of bread. Very odd. I threw the outer set away. I ordered salami but I guess he miss heard me and gave me pastrami . I didnt go back because I was so hungry and he wasnt very friendly , even if he had replaced it, I dont like to waste food. Its the sort of place where, even if you eat in, they serve it on styrofoam plates! What a lot of waste. Im hoping that the dishwasher was temporarily broken.

Cant believe this place was so close and I never knew about it. Popped by with my girlfriend today and we were both very impressed. Sandwiches were great, the place is very interestingly decorated with all the memorabilia and photos, and most importantly friendly staff. I would definitely return, especially once we can eat indoors again. Easy to see why theyve been in business for 45 years.

Ive been to many delis throughtout my life. None come even close to wolfies montreal smoked meat. Including montreal. Try there homemade hot mustard. Its a life changing experience!

Super friendly staff by phone and in person. We had two corned beef sandwich combos. We stopped at Earl Bales Park and enjoyed the delicious plentiful meal in a gorgeous setting. Thanks again guys. Well be back soon.

Meat was passable, but very disappointing overall. Authentic atmosphere, but the sandwiches are remarkably plain with four slices of rye and a dollop of (frenchs) mustard. Ended up being rather expensive for a dull sandwich. If they tossed in some sliced pickle or peppers with the sandwich it couldve been salvaged. (and come on, 2 dollars for a pickle?)

We got a couple of sandwich combos which includes coleslaw and a pickle. Sandwiches were fresh and very good. Sides could of been better. Add a couple of drinks and it was close to $40. Bit expensive to be served on a Styrofoam plates, but will probably go again.

A crammed, friendly, deli that served wonderful smoked meat. It would have gotten a higher review if I felt it was cleaner and more tidy. It was kind of overwhelming the way it was. The food would bring me back.

Completely satisfied my Montreal style smoked meat craving. Yes its on the pricy side but this is significant stack of meaty wonderfulness. As evidenced in the photo. Accompanied the sandwich with potato salad and a dill pickle; both highly recommended. Great combo but be warned this a lot of food. I was confused by the four slices of bread but once you dig into this sandwich it becomes abundantly clear why this is necessary. Counter staff very pleasant and helpful suggest additional items that go well with the meal. Vernors soda pop was suggested which I havent had in many years. If you like cream soda Venors is a subtle version of that. Personally not a fan of cream soda. Vernors is nothing like ginger ale which I thought it resembled. Will definitely return if I venture back up to this part of Toronto.

Great under the radar old school deli since 1975 - all the classics are here. Nice smoked meat with a whack of pepper. I prefer a bit fattier but still great. The best potato salad I think I have ever had - big surprise! Soft and tasty karnatzel. This place belongs in the in deli hall of fame. It s the real deal - legit. I will be back to try it all.

Got introduced to Wolfies deli 30 years ago when I worked for North York Hydro on Goddard St. Now I try to stop by whenever Im in the area. Im a corned beef person and the sandwich always comes heaped with meat and still with extra slices of rye bread, for if you want two sandwiches. Top it off with a dill pickle and its Fat Belly Bri approved! (Support the delis, theyre part of the fabric that makes Toronto and they are disappearing , and that sucks!)

I ordered the smoked meat sandwich for my friends and I, and they were so delicious! The meat was piled generously, I loved how there was double slices of rye which were soft and chewy, and the hot mustard was the cherry on top! My friend whos not a fan of sandwiches actually enjoyed it as well haha The owner was super nice, personable, and ensured I got my order! Ill absolutely be returning again soon

Used to be my favourite corned beef spot until I tried a fatty cut corned beef from Teddys Deli in Oshawa. Completely outclassed. Cheaper, WAY more meat and they dont charge you $2 extra for a pickle, its free.

I have eaten at Wolfies many times and loved it. However, Ive been ill and thought I would order through Uber Eats for the first time. What a disappointment! I ordered a smoked turkey sandwich. When I opened it, I noticed that the sandwich actually had 2 slices of bread, one on top of the other and realized because the bread was cut so thinly it wouldnt hold the met so they doubled it. If I pay so much for a sandwich, I should get regular sliced rye and not them just doubling the bread So disappointmented!!

Big fan of deli meats and have had best at Katz in NY and Mannys in Chicago. Had great expectations here at Wolfies but found it way overpriced for the portion they serve and def not up to the taste I had expected. May be bad day at a bad time and I hope I can find a good deli place.

Stopped by for a quick meal on the road. Corned beef/ coleslaw/ they also serve coke in bottles from Mexico. easily the best tasting Coca Cola some of the best food in the province! Wonderful place to check out!

I rarely give out five stars but this place is amazing for both the food and decor. If your looking for a great lunch spot or are a Coca-Cola memorabilia fan, this is the place. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They offer wonderful recommendations. The decor is everything and anything Coca-Cola. He has amassed some true treasures of the company in the restaurant. A real treat to walk around and look while your lunch is being prepared. Wholeheartedly recommend this place if your in the area.

It is the standard both myself and everyone Ive introduced to the place set the bar at. I also ordered their kishka and honestly every fork full my eyes are rolling in the back of my head. I always went to Katz deli near yorkdale but when they closed down I tried wolfies.. hello amazing! Always greeted with a smile and great conversation. The corned beef sandwich on rye is so good. Katz who? Wolfies is now my spot!
