My first time there today for lunch. Food was delicious. Good prices. Reasonable service. Hoping to be back. Parking: Its at a plaza in a main intersection. No complaints about free parking.

I enjoy wimpys because you know what you are getting. I rated it lower because I realized as I walked out that the bottom of my shoe and bits of potato all over. They didnt notice potato on the floor under the table. I should have looked but still disappointing

Food was good but the fish are getting smaller.

I have breakfast at this whimpy s every 2 weeks. I order the pancakes to go. Today I saw that the cook had packaged the pancakes placed it on the counter for the waitresses to bag and give to me. There were 3 waitresses standing talking to each other while my order sat there. Finally when the waitress who took my order came back from cleaning a table she mentioned to another to bag it and give it to me. Thank you to the one waitress who helped. Pancakes were good but cold.

So filling you can skip 1 more meal just by ordering this plate.

Came in to order food and was greeted very Nicely and my order to go was taken fast. I ordered a jr burger and fries and 2 SIDE orders of bacons. Then when I get Home I find 2 pieces of bacon. To be fair that is what was on the bill that was stapled to the bag and I didn t check before I left so that s fair. But when I called to ask what had happened I was told I was wrong. I find that unbelievably rude and I ve been here many. Will not order from here again.

The fried fish fillets and French fries are delicious, but the pancakes should have been cooked too long and the surface is blackened, but the syrup is good, maybe maple syrup, and it wont make your throat uncomfortable after eating it.

Atm was broken but they decided to blame my card. The food was alright but another thing that really put me off was when I tried to tip 50 cents the waiter asked if I missed a 0. Like can anyone say ungrateful any louder? I understand its not a lot but you can still say thank you.

Id say were here once a week or so and I have to say, the staff were super friendly and efficient but now not so much. The food has always been good and the last few times its been terrible. Theyve changed fries from the nice thick flat fries to some horrible abomination of McCain. No flavour in it or tastes like old oil. I hope it changes back to the place I love.

I want to say am very dissatisfied and disappointed with the customer service that the hostess offered on the phone. I am regular customer and I wanted to know if they sell soup on the menu because I saw a variety I wasn t sure. I called in and the brown lady was so rude and arrogant . She said , miss am very busy with customers look at the menu online and order and I just asked if I can do pickup . Does that mean am not a customer as well ? The other two white ladies who service me and check if am okey are very fantastic and always polite . I believe good customer service should be given to all customers . Am not racist or anything because am a brown lady who comes there alone and loves the breakfast there and the pasta . I don t think she will serve me again with such an attitude I encountered yesterday on phone .

They are kind and they give me free water with ice

It was my first time trying the food. Theres not alot of option to choose from. However, My family and I got the wings and fries, I did not expected the wings to be piled up on top of the fries in a small bowl. No where to put the bones, I had to used my napkin. I would of assumed that itll be on the side like other establishments on a bigger plate becuse Not everybody like their food mixed together. To top it off the wings were overcooked and hard. I asked if it can be changed, and they said no. It was a miss for me and i wouldnt try it again.

Im so sad You guys changed your french fries. They used to be the very best in the city and I would order from you above other places because of the fries alone. Why did you change them?? Would you ever consider changing them back? Truly mourning

Nice dinner for them breakfast and sandwich meals you like, I had the twisted breakfast, the misses had dried pickles and poutine and the farther in law had the beef sandwich. Just what we needed yum yum . Parking: Big parking lot so you shouldnt have a problem parking

The food arrived quickly and it s okay no complaints. The service is okay my coffee was served late and you have to get their attention to get a refill. But overall it s all good. I still gave them a 20% tip.

Can t go wrong with Wimpy s. It s pretty basic and the service is pretty fast. Good place to get a decent meal if you re short on time

I loved it so much! The vibes were very retro and the food was amazing. I ordered the pancake trinity and the pancakes were fluffy to perfection! Thank you for the wonderful meal, Ill definitely have to go back!

How you treated a mom and her son who has autism and who were kindly asking for use the restaurant facility is beyond my comprehension and you should be ashamed of yourself and how you treated them is unacceptable.It is beyond disrespectful

The best of the best

Came in to have brunch, had to find a waitress that will take our order which too a lot longer than it should have. Even getting a top-up on coffee was a chore for them. Staff is busy chatting behind the counter but have little to no regard for customers. The owner should take a better look at his employees ... the Bathurst/Sheppard location cant compare to the Thornhill or Brampton location.

Good service. Good pancakes and omlettes. Typical dinner atmosphere. Booth was a little cramped for 4 adults, but all in all, a good experience worth another visit.

This is a quaint diner with diner fare the stars are versus other similar diners. I go there a or breakfast especially the egg white veggie omelet. Wait staff is always helpful & cheerful. They made a nice fresh pot of decaf for us which delicious. It rocks a fifties vibe.

Not wheelchair accessible. Had to be lifted over the small front door step to gain access to the restaurant. No power doors either. For a modern plaza, this was surprising. The restaurant is very small, with little to no room to maneuver a wheelchair. The food was good though and the employees were nice. Great food and staff!

One of the best fast food joints I ve been to! Super fresh and miraculously not oily. What I mean by that is they use a light oil that s not old meaning no digestion or tummy issues for those of us sensitive to this. The kids meal are very affordable ($7-9), generous portions, and my son and I agree the best chicken fingers we have EVER tried. The pancakes with corn syrup were a table favourite too! Service could have been better but the place was packed, understandably so! Staff were very friendly though nonetheless. Clean environment and a traditional atmosphere true to the Wimpy s diner aesthetic. Looking for an American diner and food experience? This is where to go! Vegetarian options: Veggie burgers and salads! Heard the veggie burger is one of the best. Kid-friendliness: Very affordable($7-9), generous portion and superb taste!

The food was amazing and our waitress was the sweetest kindest person ever.

Have gone to this Wimpys location for years and they have always had great breakasts and great service. But the breakfast options are disappearing. The hamburger steak and eggs is long gone. It had always been a favourite of mine. My next go to breakfast is the basic 3 eggs with soft potatoes and toast. This weekend I go in and they no longer offer the soft potatoes only wedge fries or regular fries. I dont like either. Those soft potatoes were amazing! What am I supposed to have for breakfast now? Just pay the same price without the potatoes? Not worth it. I can still get those potatoes at another location. So after many years, Im saying goodbye to this Wimpys.

We love going to Wimpys for breakfast, lunch & brunch. Food it always great, good pricing, friendly staff. We will always continue to go back to wimpys.

I forget to take photo of my breakfast. My pancake was really flattened and tough. My friend ordered the liver dinner with fries. Both were good but she refused to eat the garlic bread.

This is my go to breakfast restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. The food is delicious and the portions are quite large so bring your appetite.

Waitress friendly and helpful, for my taste (I tend to eat healthy breakfast) pancakes okay, bacon and sausage tasted if it had been deep fried originally + again to warm it up for breakfast. Was 2nd attemp eating breakfast here. Breakfast isnt cheap please spend more on the foods that youre promoting to people- I live across the street but honestly next time Ill walk farther

I thought I would provide written instructions so as a repeat of the last 2 botched pick-up orders didnt occur. Offended by this, the female server decided to botch up this 3rd and last order. Veggie burger + 2 fries/gravy was apparently an insurmountable task. Her incompetence was exceeded only by her idiocy.

so I did a pick up order at 1130pm. I get home open up the carton and there was a huge issue. my meal was covered in mushrooms...Im allergic sadly so I cant eat it. it was now 1145 and they close at 12! I called and the staff offered to remake it or I could wait till tmrw. I asked for it to be redone and Id be right there. Guess what happened...they replaced it and has it ready all while they were trying to close up for the night....and the replacement was absolutely perfect!!! whats my point you might be asking? the point is mistakes happen and when they do and the business goes to lengths that this wimpys did to make it right you say thank you! So Thank You wimpys I appreciate it! and if the owner or corporate bosses see this.....the entire staff working the night shift on Feb 17th 2024 deserves a raise and some praise from you!!! They all went out of there way to make it right.

Its an average place... not very clean... but decent food. Update: I just lowered my rating from 3 stars to 1 star based on the owners sarcastic response. Apparently the short-sighted owner doesnt care much about practicing good customer service, or have a desire for repeat customers.

amazing food and service and felt really welcomed and brought back so many memories from when i was a kid to be honest do not understand why people gave this place terrible reviews i felt welcomed and the pasta tasted amazing and not to mention the burger was huge can not wait to come back again and try something else off the menu definitely good for cheap eats as well only reason why i spent so much cause why not loool

Food arrived ice cold, not only that but I was clearly not given the amount of eggs I ordered. They will not send your full order.

I loved the food. I had fish and chips. Normal pricing. The restaurant has a nostalgic vibe and the staff were friendly and nice. Washroom was clean and nice. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was not enough staff and people who were working had to take care of lots of customers all alone. Thank you for the great experience. Good and swift.

I ordered 4 meals online through wimpys website and got charged for it. I called to make sure that the order went through, they told me that they have nothing in my name or any order in general. They said that i must have chosen doordash for delivery but i said no, i chose to pick it up. They insisted that I ordered at a different wimpys location but i provided proof that i didnt, it was their location. I asked to speak to a manager and they said they did not have one, that they just work here. I understand things like this happen but please do not insist that it was my fault when it was not.

i ordered ham omelette for take out and 2 of the toast had molds on them. truly disgusting.

The food is good, portions are HUGE, price is reasonable, service is great. The only reason I have to complain is that theres not enough seating for a party of 5 or more (1 table). If theres 2-4 of you, its a great place, but not for larger parties.

I love Wimpys. The staff are great and the service is fast. I like the food, myself. I dont like the home fries--I always opt for French fries--but have no other qualms about the menu. The prices are a bit high but still within reason. Their delivery via ubereats etc is always well packaged. They have great people working there.

We visited this place on a Thursday afternoon when looking for something to eat. We went in as a group of five, and while it was busy inside we did get a table very fast. The restaurant isnt that big inside so maybe make sure beforehand theres seating avaliable. The atmosphere was very interesting as it had this early 70s diner look, paired with red seats and jukeboxes on the wall of every table. While they didnt work for us, it was a very nice touch. The server was very friendly and got us seated very quickly. Theres a large selection of food from the menu, but Id say the wimpys burger is the one most people get. We ordered three wimpys burgers, a hot dog, some waffle fries, and a chicken burger. The burgers have very large patties as can be seen in he photo. Waffle fries were nice but the portions were a bit small. My friend enjoyed his chicken burger, and we had a good time. Serving time and price to portion are both reasonable. Parking: Decent amounts of spots shared with the supermarket and other restaurants. Kid-friendliness: Vintage 60s dîner look.

Great food, especially the real, home cooked potatoes. Fantastic service. Fast. And the best part: the most reasonable prices in Toronto. Way, way better food for your dollar than far more supposedly upscale places. A perfect diner. Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk with a ramp at the end of the sidewalk. The doorway might be a little narrow for a wider wheel chair, but I think you could still get through

I love this restaurant!!

Service was very bad. Slow to bring out food. I spilled my beer in front of the waiter and nobody came to clean that up. We were there for over two hours. I cleaned it with napkins and nobody cleared the napkins from the table until we ordered the bill. I mentioned it to the waiter at the end and she said it was not her job to clear the tables. Not going back

I normally would have brunch occasionally but Fathers day my experience was not great,the young lady who serve us never bought what was needed for our pan and etc.The other lady eventually came to ask if we doing okay and need anything more and kept on check to see if we alright.Everytime we go the Laura,another lady,Judith has be really nice and often make sure you are okay.Thanks ladies

Ordered Whimpy s through Uber Eats for breakfast. Dry, stale toast. Cold over cooked scrambled eggs. Asked for crispy home fries, but they were soggy, tasteless and saturated in oil. Only thing that tasted good was the bacon. Gonna be looking for a new breakfast spot

WOW love this place. Never disappointed when I come here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You get your moneys worth. Great servers. Kind and hospitable. Definitely get your worth in quantity and quality of food. Ample parking.

So we just left this restaurant, there was a roach on our table and they still charged us for our food, server was super nice and she seemed just as grossed out as we were, just that we were still charged for our food is totally unacceptable

Food and Atmosphere was exactly what I would expect from Whimpys. Everything was excellent. Now, the server was getting confused a lot, she brought something we ordered to another table, took a really long time to check on us for the order (thought at least she checked up on us at all) and was complaining to us about a headache a lot. That said they were nice and apologetic when mistakes were made, and I could tell she was really sorry and having an off day. I honestly still had a really great time, I love Whimpys dinner, and Ive not been in a while so it was nice!

Nutella milkshake is amazing! The food was alright but the service was fantastic. Really cute diner would come back again!
