A place to get a cheese corn dog

Take some extra time and go to another location, preferably on Yonge. For some reason, this location seems to have different sauces, smaller rice dogs, and less/worse sauce distribution overall.

Worst franchise here in Toronto, they re very cheap with the sauces. The sauces weren t enough and barely covered the corndog. Unfortunately I deleted the picture already but each time I come (just 2x) the sauces are just not enough.

I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Jin during my visit to the store, and I must say, the experience was absolutely exceptional. Delicious hotdogs!

Food tastes as expected but I got 2 items and asked for a box - the lady just straight up ignored me. I asked multiple times.... She just put two trays together and shoved it in a bag. I work on an ambulance and told her I have a call and dont want my food to be trashed once I get to eat it but no cares in the world.... Do I need to get 3 dogs to qualify for a box? Whats up with that?

Worst experience I have had! You give the coupon out and say after 10 you get a free one. When we come to get it you say you can only do cheddar which is okay but instead of that you gave a beef one. When we came back you said you cannot do anything about it and that you guys wont change it. The staff was so rude instead of accepting there mistake they were fighting for it.

Amazing staff. Extremely helpful and kind. When we went there, an Indian Karen and her bf was there using various things as leverage to harass the kind staffs, threatening them with bad reviews, complaints (to manager) to get free food. For any other Karens, I want to say that your restriction is your responsibility. Please know and understand what is in your food so you know what you are about to put in your mouth. The Karen were extremely rude, disrespectful but the staffs handled it really well. The staffs even gave them free sprites but the Karen was not satisfied with it and continued to harass them. All the one stars reviews from Patels are the Karens friend. Because the timing matches the timing that this incident occured.

This place is awesome! I have been here many times, and get a FREE cheddar cheese with my points card. The free hot dog is random, but luckily I got my favorite flavor right before new year comes.

Corn dog on steroids. Nice place to visit when in area. All kinds of stuff for whole family. Visited with kids and everyone loved it.

It was our first time trying these hotdogs. This was very tasty. Would come back to get some more. Really liked double cheese and volcano, kids enjoyed chocolate one.

It is what it is. Good Korean corndog, consistent in quality with the other locations. Nothing spectacular though. Theyre made to order, so be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes.

honestly, its only this location that Im always receiving the WORST service. To start off, the last time I was there, the girl told me I was only allowed to have 2 toppings... (any other location is like unlimited toppings). Yesterday, I collected 9 stamps to receive my 10th free, BUT they do not allow you to choose which one you get. They choose it for you. no exceptions made. On top of that, the old lady and the girl were both rude and lack basic customer service skills. We also asked if we were able to separate the items we ordered because we are travelling to different locations and they made it a fuss but eventually put it in an open container. When we requested to have it in the box cause we do not want it to tip out while we are driving, they were so rude and aggressively told us that the boxes were only for 4 items. To top it off, the same girl told me I was only allowed to have 1 topping . I then asked her why she reduced the topping because last time she said it was only 2 toppings and now shes saying 1 topping. The location is convenient and the food is tasty but I would rather travel to Vaughn or Yonge for the better service.

Only 1 staff, since its midday - unfortunately they must have had her working on things in the back, so I had to call out to get service, and her English wasnt very good, as she couldnt answer simple questions. However this is the first time Ive tried these, and it was fun to eat, and toppings, sauces, and seasonings were customizable, which was fun. I had the wasabi mayo, sweet chili, parmesan and cheddar cheese. Definitely made the order. Im vegan/vegetarian, so it was nice to have an option for a veggie dog. Probably the cheese one would have been better, but I didnt mind it. Though the veggie dog definitely isnt for everyone. Lol

Probably better than what I rated as I only went for the vegetarian options, the cheese on a stick and the veggie dog. They have lots of options in terms of sticks and sauces. Food was hot and fresh. Just not my cup of tea. I will be more than happy to return to try the actual hot dogs at a later time.

Clean and fun food

Took 40 mins from front of line to get my two corndogs, said the sauce three times and they still put the wrong one on. Id recommend setting aside an hour to be safe.

Sweet and friendly staff, I recommend calling in to avoid the surcharges from ubereats and they prefer that! Don t forget to get the rewards card they offer if you visit often!

I eat only veg so tried their Cheesedog and Veggiedog. Both were awesome. I like the whole mozzarella one without any topping. You can have potatoes as a topping.

good atmosphere with great home cooked meals

Basically been going every weekend here for lunch. So delicious. Love that the rice dogs are made fresh and to order. Its not really advertised but you can add potatoes or ramen noodles to most of the rice dogs which is great. My go to is a cheddar cheese dog with potatoes. So good. Takes about 10 minutes from order for 4-6 rice dogs. Unfortunately be prepared to wait outside while covid restrictions limit capacity. Its been steadily busy everytime Ive went but is well with the wait.

They make an exceptional good Corn Dogs and once in a while they have promotions for a $1 rice dog which you can t go wrong with.

Hotdog is juicy and tasty. Price is resonable. Location is good and theres a lot of parking. It is right at the exit of 401 T Bathurs. Accessible to bus stop too..Will definitely come back. There are various of stores in the area especially Filipino restaurants. CIBC banks is just walking distance.

I went here to try the potato corn dog, I already try it in Ireland and I thought that here it would be better or similar in flavor! The potatoes wasn t crunchy it was a paste but even with that it was pretty good, the mustard honey of this place is amazing!! I will give them 7/10

These corn dogs are good in taste. Order by phone in advance if you want to avoid waiting about 10 mins. Limited dine in options. Not a healthy snack though. Good service and good quality food.

This place really bad. I went for takeout.Hospitality awful. She didn t asked me here or to go.Package system also terrible. No packing like other locations.I asked for plastic bag my order. She was surprised. Location so close to me but I will never ever go this place again.

Good sized corn dogs, with different combos like mozzarella and rice cake, you can choose your own sauce combinations and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend to others.

Great customer service here! The people were so friendly and helped us with our order. The dogs were also delicious!

The first time I came here I was real impressed so I came back a second time and ordered something different. The second time I ordered mozzarella hotdogs and a double cheese hotdog and when I bit into either there was no meat only cheese. The place doesnt have a phone, so you cant call them with an issue, so I drove the 20min back to fix this. I get here for them to tell me that these particular dogs only have HALF a hotdog in them. The cheddar cheese comes with full meat but none of the others do. Anyway, thats my only issue and thought first timers might want to know so you dont have a disappointing reaction like me. The customer service was questionable. There were two employees working there and the woman was by far the saving grace. The man told me he would not remake our order and would not refund after he picked and probed at each rice dog expecting me to take it back home to eat it. Anywho. Just clarify your order order what comes in it at what size and capacity

Delicious, crispy, and not too heavy. Have only ever been to the Chungchun on Byng and the Ricedogs here taste just as good. No long lineups and food came out quickly! Staff is very nice as well. Highly recommend!

Took about 10 mins to prep my veggie dog - not ideal but at least you know they are making it fresh. It was a generous portion size and tasty. Had a bit of an aftertaste. Cashier was very engaged.

You can really tell they use fresh oil every day (as said on the box). The food never makes me feel heavy and the hot dogs have a good flavour. Definitely will become a regular place for me!

This location Chungchun Rice Hotdog opened up along Wilson Avenue, west of Bathurst about two months ago. It is located beside The Fifth Taste sushi restaurant. There is some limited parking in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is clean, with no seating; takeout only. This location has the same selection of beef and beef/chicken hotdogs that other franchise locations have. The staff serving me was helpful. I asked for the least sodium-laden product and was told that the Cheddar hot dog variety would be the least salty. Lots of choices for sauces/toppings including ketchup, spicy mayo, sweet chili, barbecue, honey butter and cheddar powder. It took about 10 minutes for them to make my hotdog fresh from time of order. It was hot and crispy upon first bite. You can tell they use fresh oil daily as the shop doesn t smell heavy with oil, and the taste of the batter on the hot dog was clean without any rancid taste. The cheddar cheese (like cheese spread; think Cheese Whiz) indeed was not salty but the hot dog was. At least as a combination they balanced each other out. Despite the heaviness from the cheese, the overall product didnt taste greasy. Will definitely be back to try other varieties of hotdog, including the tteok (rice cake) option.

Caught a TikTok review of one of these locations a few weeks ago and decided to put it on my must try list. Well today I was coming for Bagels on Wilson and was very happy to see the strip mall beside where I was getting bagels had this location. My daughter and her friend were with me so I asked if they were interested in getting one ( I was no matter what) and they both said yes and not surprisingly they picked the same one, the mozzarella with hotdog. Being it was my first time I played it safe and got the cheddar mozzarella one. The girls declined on the toppings (big mistake imo) and I picked honey mustard, sweet mayo and teriyaki sauce. I declined adding the white sugar, but it was because again, first time and I felt the sauces I had picked would all have a sweet tang to them, and I was correct. First few bites were just cheese as the hotdog only occupies about half the meal. But that really did not matter, it just kept me waiting and wanting the bite where all the flavours would be incorporated. Oh.My.God. This was possibly the best dog on a stick I ve ever had and I ve had some very good ones from city and state fairs. I was about 15km from home and as I was driving and eating I had my daughter look up the closest location to home. Fortunately there is not one right close by, my cholesterol thanks you. But there are a few closer that I will need to go to and try the oh, 10 or 11 different types I thought I could eat. Yea basically the whole menu. Cooked fresh after ordering the crunch adds to the whole experience and I can assure you that it won t be my last trip to one of their locations, in the next 7 days. Yes, I went for bagels and left with another can t miss yet incredibly simple menu. I already had a drink in the car so I did not try any of their offerings but saw a fountain pineapple drink that I can only imagine pairs incredibly well and completes the whole meal. Don t think about it, even if there is a line because it s there for a reason. Enjoy your Saturday!!
