Precious is a stand out at this location as well as Avneet. These 2 ladies go above and beyond expectations. They are very professional, know what they are doing and very kind to their customers. We have been going to this location only since May, but we enjoy the dedication of these young women to their jobs. Hope to continue visiting this restaurant.
The food is chain food, but they keep it consistent. It's really the consistency and the staff that make me come back. They feel like real people that are happy to serve you, the manager and the front of house girl are spot on with how you should treat guests.
The Filipino lady was serving me and she brushed her arms up on the onion rings and french fries she also touched my money and with her hands and never washed them and touch the food I think it's kind of gross that people don't wear gloves and touch money with their bare hands I think A&W needs to retrain their employees and to have better serving manners with a smile
I was excited to have a Late Lunch after running to Spirit Halloween for my costume.... I ordered the Teen combo with side of Onion rings.. While the server was packing orders. I noticeD her arm brush against a pack of onion rings, and instead of throwing them away and remaking them. She continued to pack the Onion Rings into my bag expecting me to eat them... I immediately turned and walked out.... leaving my friend to address the situation. He mentioned to her that she had touched the Onion rings and she refused to replace them. I won't return to this location again. Gross... How am I to know you're hygiene routine or if you have a sick family member at home.
Amrita my server there was a 1 person army… I haven’t seen an A & W worker give it their all like her ! Very nice and very hospitable . The Sandwich (Nashville)was made perfectly to my liking so a big shout out to her staff as well. A&W pay attention to her detail a true one of a kind! Oct 8th,2024 12:00pm
Thank you so much to the manager Charanjit for donating some coffee and snacks to a group of MS Canada volunteers who were overseeing a water station during the Toronto Marathon on May 5, 2024.
The place had parking spaces, reasonably clean washroom, responsive staff and acceptable cleanliness. the fries were good, the drinks are always phenomenal and the burgers were good.
Super nice spot, 24h and with parking space. Ended up here couple days ago and got a double chicken buddy burger from their value menu for $3.5 and were completely full. Stuff is tastier and better than mcdonalds but as cheap, if not cheaper. Staff was also friendly and quick. Lots of seating space.
We ordered two veggie pattie burgers. The patty is mot cooked properly from the centre. Worst experience.

Everything was very nice. Burgers were very good, and so was the poutine. After being in a few A&W branches, I can say this one is quick and efficient. My order was ready in about 3 minutes, and it was tasty and hot even though I picked up and went home.

Abysmal food handling practices, similar to most establishments with employees who have immigrated to Canada from a certain place in the world that lacks even the most basic hygiene standards (you know where I am referring to, hint: curry). No gloves, handling money, then touching screens, then touching their face, and touching the food right after. Wont be going back.

The food made me sick. Other than the fact they remain open for 24 hours with dine in. I don t see any positives.
Food is great. The service is superb. Got an upgrade of large coffee with my All Canadian breakfast. It is a pick up so not able to experience crowd atmosphere but the the staff are wonderful.
Absolutely Terrible Service from the manager. I came in about 2 months ago and it still bothers me to this day. Very disrespectful and yelled at me for being in the washroom said They have been calling my order out yelling. When has going to the washroom been an issue? I was with my friend and we were absolutely embarrassed in-front of the entire restaurant with everyone staring. I believe it was the manager as well. As someone that works in the retail industry, that is no way to treat customers. Not only that they also messed up our order and overcharged when we didn t even get our drinks, when we asked they made us pay AGAIN. We had to put up a fit to even get their attention they ignored us.

Delivery of 2 momma burgers. Found hair in both burgers. Order was wrong. You lost a customer. Sweet potato fries were soggy & not cooked.
Double buddy burger makes a great snack. Ive ordered 5hrm 2x at 2 different locations. Both times the burgers were hot and fresh.
To go bag was neatly packed. Like I had to make public comment about the bag organization. Also a special request was made fresh. Top notch.
Only issue with this store is the customer service needs improvement.

Food was cold and didnt taste right... very disappointing
GROTESQUE and POORLY RUN. -visit on March 17 and there were little flies EVERYWHERE. Kept flying into my food and face. There was A LOT that flew out from the ketchup station when I went to pump ketchup. Ive honestly never seen a restaurant with this many flies in Canada. I added some photos I could discretely take but there was honestly dozens of these fruit flies on each wall/surface. There was also a rotten smell walking into the restaurant that smelt kinda cheesy but wasnt cheese. -last time I was here was months ago when there was supposed to be $1 coffee, but on a couple visits the coffee machine was conveniently not working. I like the AW brand but Ill never return to this location. Very poorly run.
The worst Female Punjabi / Indian lady always cleans and spreads cleaning sprays whenever visited to stay and eat in. This was the 4th time had the above issue, especially Friday late evening... Hate the service...

Had an absolutely horrible experience there this week. Tried to return a burger that tasted off. Staff in charge was rude and refused to refund because in her opinion it was fine. She picked at my burger and then expected me to just take it back. It really was not fine. Finally staff agreed to refund but we had to return everything and pay again minus the burger. Total disaster. The staff gave me over $20 back too much. I tried to return the money several times but staff would not listen. I was yelled at, insulted, and made to feel like I was trying to steal, when I was trying to return extra money. The situation got so out of hand we left without eating after we managed to return the extra money. Tried to notify A&W online but it went to a wrong location. A lovely manager replied to us, but it was not his location. The place was really dirty and the whole experience was uncomfortable. I would like a reply back from A&W and a full refund for a Teen and Uncle combo. The online complaint process is not showing this location. I would give zero or minus stars if I could.

Dropped in to grab lunch on my way to my daughters and I was very hungry but after 2 bites into my Papa Burger I pulled a long black hair out of my mouth that was in the middle of the burger. I will never go there again!
This place has great bathrooms. Was out of the cherry turnover, but I had an apple turnover and it was good

Stopped by early evening. Low key restaurant and very quiet. **This location has a BREW BAR** Most locations dont, so that alone raises the rating. The Root beer sweet cream milkshakes are great, so its a shame theyre not carried everywhere.
24hr openness Food good enough to eat ... especially the big breakfast. Canadian, eh Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free can take lettuce wrap option. Can get messy, so ask for knife & fork. Parking: Fine Kid-friendliness: Fast-food ... need I say more? Wheelchair accessibility: Yup

Best affordable franchise burger
An Japanese take on pasta. It s very good and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended if you are in the neighbourhood. And there is a lot of room to seat.
First experience was awesome.
Taking this down to three stars after continuing issues with gift cards. Their machines dont scan cards, apparently, if they are from outside stores (Shoppers etc). I am aware of this and told them to manually enter the card number, but recently an employee got surly with me insisting my cards were no good until I pushed repeatedly for her to do it manually and it worked. Unpleasant experience. They also served me a fizzy apple juice, which is interesting as their root beer and other soda is often flat. And they refused to give me a proper carrying bag for my various items, telling me it was just for deliveries. That may be the policy, but its not a fair one and not friendly to takeout customers. A decent A&W, and the only one in the area. Ive had issues with flat soda and with gift cards not being accepted, but staff have always tried to help even when they couldnt. I feel like a lot of the issues with A&W franchises come from the corporate level not supporting or providing proper equipment and training. Anyway, A&W is one of the more expensive but higher quality fast food options in Canada. They are pretty reliable and have good hours. Stick to the tried and true burgers, onion rings and fries. I find their limited time and newer items like various chicken-burgers to be disappointing.

Had a bad experience, they put a different patty on my order with the same cover on it which is totally unlogical. As I am Vegetarian and I didint have time to check before having a bite and trusting what they are giving in package and then realized I am already lost cant do anything. So if yo have second please check before you eat.

I never saw any burger restaurant staff use their bare hands to prepare burgers. The prep staff constantly touched her t-shirt while preparing our burgers. When I raised my concern, the prep staff gave us a cold shoulder and didn t think she is wrong. She brought her manager and the manager alleged this is not in violation of any protocol. We left the place immediately after hearing that. It s pointless raising the concern to ignorant staff who think this is fine rather than having them learn the lesson. We will report this hygiene issue to the relevant authority.

Just ordered from this location on doordash and didnt receive condiments on ANY of the burgers that I ordered. Very strange occurrence and cant get in touch with the store to let them know because they dont pick up the phone lol
This is probably the cleanest A&W I have been so far. This place was already very clean and they were cleaning deeply even more. I value that a lot and definitely recommend this place.

This is a small A&W restaurant, but the staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Theyre was a steady flow of customers coming into the restaurant but never a lineup. Overall service was very good and fast. This is the way ALL fast-food experiences should be. Vegetarian options: There are lots of vegetarian options. You can always order the sandwich without the meat. Dietary restrictions: Very friendly staff that is willing to accommodate special requests ie. hold the mayo, cheese, buns..... Parking: Very tiny busy parking lot, off of Avenue Rd, that is uneven graded with tight turns. Sometimes difficult to exit the parking lot, especially if youre trying to turn left. Youre better to park on Avenue Rd, if you can
Came here late after a downtown show and wow was the experience dreadful. Was my only option other than Mcdonalds in the area as this location is opened 24 hours. The food was pretty average for a fast food joint and my sweet potato fries were cold and gross. Service was super passive aggressive and the place was just not the vibe.
Red Raw chicken?!?Just apologised and made me wait another 15 minutes for a new meal. Disgraceful won t be back to this chain ever again

Rarely would I ever give a review to a fast food restaurant but the experience has been so ridiculous at this location. Im a fan of A&W but this location specifically gets the orders wrong constantly, its a joke!!! Especially if you order through Uber Eats. Almost every time, they literally do the opposite of what you ask even though you list specific instructions and even leave out items you pay for on top of your meal.
Better not want extra ketchup for your onion rings the girl with the attitude well have a problem with that behind the counter

Would do 4.5 but can only do round numbers. Great experience, private table + table service. Didn t try sea to table option but the root beer was top tier. Consistent high quality late night option. Josh Liquornik loves A&W.

The service just continues to decline at this location, consistently missing simple condiments i n the bag that would be standard with orders like ketchup with fries or syrup with pancakes, and when even asking to confirm that there is the proper condiments, I am re assured there is, I still have to walk back to the store from my car to get the missing condiments. Usually my experience is good here, but idk if it has been a change in staff but many of the new employees just seem like they don t want to work there.
